As Prillo was looking to a little more of a presentation in the left center field stands. And now we have some activity in the Yankee-Bulk fan and it appears to be Tom Morgan.

The score is Brooklyn Dodgers for and the New York Yankees won. In the top of the sixth inning the New York Yankees will send up Joe Collins.

1:59:59Millie it'll be Eddie Robinson and then Billy Martin. At least those three men will face Roger Craig here as the Yankees come up for their swings at the top of the sixth. We move into the top of the seventh inning and we may have a pinch hitter for Bob Grimm. Looks like big Bob sir is going to come out and swing for the pitcher Bob Grimm.

2:11:37And that's who it is. Bob sir who has played center field and left field and in two games has been up seven times who is looking for his first hit in the series. Who has struck out four times is in there big right hand batter. Powerfully belt first pitch is low and outside of pass ball. Bob is a kind of fellow that looks like somebody swiped a couple of those supports that used to grow from those ancient Roman Coliseums and stuck under a very well billed young man because he's got legs like a full back. Roger Craig who found himself leaving from the minors up with the majors and there's a long drive.

Turley started the third game of the World Series and as you recall, he lasted one and one third innings. He gave up three runs or four runs and three hits. He struck out one, he walked two and he hit a batsman and he was charged with the loss of that third game of the series. So Bob Turley comes on now and relieves for the New York Yankees replacing Bob Graham. Turley is a fireballer. And in talking to Casey Stangle, Stangle talks that if you recall in that game the pitcher came up Johnny Ponders and he dropped a little bit and the feeling wants it as the mother been fielded then the throw had been made.

2:24:24Turley might have remained in the game. Well, it will be a new pitcher. Bob Turley and the batter is going to be Clem Lamont. And the dodges have runners on and second and third. And that is the first hit off off Turley. And Duke Snyder has two of the most important hits. And he's here as two whole runs and a double. For four times at bat. Here's Roy Campanola. Campy walked in the fifth inning. He climbed the center and the third and he was pulled on strikes in the first inning. He was hit loose in two official times at bat again. Bob Grimm. And he is now facing Bob Turley. Turley's right to work that I just have two men on, a pitch is low and outside, a fastball ball one. 2:35:45And the three big swingers, Barra Collins and Robinson, all capable of reaching that wall. The line down the right side is 297 feet and that fence goes up about 40 feet. 2:47:40He has blazing that ball through there. Next pitch to Pearl is Law of Fastball for one one. Well, the Dodgers have had superb defensive play. And we're not taking anything away from the Yankees. They have played excellent ball defensively also. But the double play strength of the Dodgers has been great. Outside from all two, two balls one strike. Yankees had something gone in the Custening and a double play to Caradepte. They had something gone in the seventh thing and a double play to Caradepte and again in the eighth. Three double plays today for the Dodgers. Charlie is ready to pitch his one on a ground ball to the right side. Billy Martin going to his left. Pances off his block for seven right field. Hanke Ball moves in and protects his ball. And makes the turn in first. He starts swine to second and stops as Paul recovers the ball.

Let's pause ten seconds for station identification. Gil Hodgis steps back in in the right hand batter's box as all of the thousands of eyes here in Editt's field are focused on Bob Tully. And then they will move quickly like a ping pong match to the dot of Gil Hodgis. One and one Perlow leads away.

2:50:41The pitches part of the line. Here's Collins coming in. Charlie takes it. Can't throw the second. So it was the first to Martin for the sacrifice. And the play goes one to four and the sacrifice is good and the Dodgers have run on at second. And he drove in two runs. And if you remember it was a solid smash that all was becapitated, belly lows and went out into center field. Tommy Byrne, bearing number 23 who has been working out in the bullpen. Swings two bats with that left arm and gives them enough, well I would say, revolutions to suddenly find himself being airborne. The other Lars is in the bullpen for the Dodgers with one on the top of the ninth inning.

3:00:54And the Yankees trailing the Dodgers leading five to three. This is the fifth game of the World Series. And the Yankees won the first two six five four two the Dodgers won the last two eight three and eight five. And the Dodgers are leading five three and the action tomorrow will move back the Yankees stadium. The outfield round the right, Jackie Robinson in close at third and halfway between second and third. Deep but short as Reese Gilliam back in second. There's a swing in a foul. And Tommy Byrne was not trying to show any finesse. He was just trying for power as he said his sights out there and but for the avenue. Burn tall and slender and with the looseness of a great hitter steps back in. Tommy has his feet fairly close together slightly open stance. Here's an X pitch by LeBine. A curve that catches the inside part. So Clarem LeBine who could practically run for a big office and he's going to be in the middle of the game.

3:01:59And the ball for Clarem Envy unanimously elected at this moment is working on the mound. And the two strike catch to Tommy Byrne is a curve ball. The round ball the right side Gilliam has it. And now I have to go back to the stadium which they didn't like much. And of course what the Yankees do like and the Yankees battle yet toe to toe fight you for everything as they proved in this game when Barra 80's home run.

3:03:59And brought them within one at that time of tying the ball game which the Dodgers had started off in front and never lost the lead of course. And of course it was Bob sir's pinch hit home on which was tremendous. But actually again it was as I say the Ducca Pomona ebbs Snyder who was the great hero matching the two Yankees home runs with two of his own. His ninth in series played a put him head a head of Joe D that's Joe Demagio and back on the roof and Gary for home runs in World Series play. That's overall total of course nine. And of course it was the Duke's fourth in this particular series. The two of them the last one was his fourth and the last.
