49ers improve the 3-0 by taking down division rival Arizona Cardinals in Santa Clara. And it was a game of emotional roller coaster for 49er fans. Whether that was the 49ers getting out to an amazing start with Dibo Samuel with the hook and ladder and taking to 80 yards Dibo finishes the game with zero catches 80 yards in a touchdown. One of the craziest things ever. And then the 49ers have into withstand some injuries. You know, the fear of seeing Mike Evans really struggling to get off the field. That was definitely disheartening to see and that was frustrating to see. But you know, the 49ers ultimately come away with the big win. The offense, it got it done down the stretch. And they had to overcome a special team's turnover. That was extremely frustrating. But when you look at it in totality, the 49ers walk away with a NFC West win. There are two in O in the NFC West. They are 3 in O in a total record.

And they are number one right now in the NFC as the Seattle Seahawks fell to the Washington Commander. So it is one of those things where it's a great day to have to be a 49ers as far as winning. It's a tough day when you're talking about some of the injuries and things like that that they're going to have to go through. But overall, you know, 49ers, they get it done. You know, and this right here from Laurie says, way too close and the injuries are too much. And I think that that's one of the things that I want to make sure that I hit on in this game is the injuries. And I think that's a good point. It was close. And you weren't thinking it was going to be close. 49ers go up 236 Eddie Pignaro. I don't know what what happened there. You know, doing his best Jake Moody impersonation, missing two extra points. That was extremely frustrating. Made this great game a lot more interesting than it should have been. But what we saw was the 49ers get tested for the first time. Those injuries, the game getting close and then respond to situational football.

And being able to have a four minute offense and they ended up, you know, I like that couch head and went for the jugular and just, hey, we're going to score a touchdown. We're going to make you guys go down two scores. You're going to have to score twice to catch us. I thought that that was a smart move. But to watch that offense execute the way that it did down the stretch, it makes me feel good about this 49ers offense. It just continues to shine. And even when there were some inconsistencies, this team was just so good. So the injuries there there, Mike Evans is reported. This is coming from in rap report. I don't know what couch in it said yet on the presser. But it was a strained rib. So a strained rib area, probably the cartilage surrounding that. We'll see what happens once that gets reported. But you have that. Then you have the trit Williams. He's getting carted off. I was extremely nervous about that. It ends up being a stinger as someone who's had stinger's playing football in his life. They are painful. They are not a situation where you were going to miss football games. So expect trit Williams to be okay. So dodging a couple bullets.

Diablo the Nora leaves with what looked like a concussion. He leaves goes into the locker. He comes back. He plays again. Ronaldo green in the blue tent. It's okay though. Ronaldo green cleared of a concussion. Dre Greenlaw bump knees. We'll see what happens there. I do think it was smart to go with Garrett Wallow after that. But we'll see ultimately what happens with Dre Greenlaw. But I felt like the injuries felt a lot worse during the game. And then now it's kind of settling in that maybe they're not quite as bad. But yeah, it was definitely tough to see. And Joe says this. Wow, what a performance from Brock Pertie. And it absolutely was. So Brock Pertie, it wasn't his on point. You know, he took opportunities to get rid of the football sometimes when he was getting pressure. Still no sacks that he is give or that he's taken this season. But Brock Pertie 15 of 27. So it's not the 20 of 22 last week. But still electric 297 yards and 11 yard per reception average. Four touchdowns to zero interceptions.

A 133.8 rating is quarterback rating. Also Brock Pertie leads the NFL with nine touchdowns. So you are 100% correct Joe. Brock Pertie was phenomenal in this game. And even when it didn't look all great, he was still making things happen. And how about that big time scramble? That was that was phenomenal as well. George Kittle, I don't think he should have been called for holding. But they end up cap it off working together, getting it touched down anyway. So it worked out. But please like and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. Do this thing audio platform for years. Cut back on believe network was given a five star rating. This episode brought to you by Fandall Fandall the title sponsor of 49ers. Cut back. What's up to my guy David V in the chat said, LFG Niners hashtag TCC. Love to see the hashtag TCC in the house. And at Danish 49er, what's up? Said I love pinierro but someday his extra points is going to cost the win. Yes, that was definitely frustrating to see because he did put them in a situation

where if their four minute offense wasn't successful down the stretch, they were only up to and they should have been up four or forcing Eris only to go for a two point conversion. So yeah, that was that was a killer. Pinierro's got to make sure he is on those and killing those. And I really appreciate this from Joseph and you have the best intro of any Niners show on YouTube. I appreciate that. I always appreciate what everyone comes through and leaves that in the comments sections. It means a lot. But yeah, it's it's it's definitely a tough one. And you know, we got this right here from 216 auto restoration. Too close of a game for me. It was the first time and you know, I kind of said I didn't think this week was going to be a boat race the way the first two weeks were. And then it looked like it. I mean, the 49ers came out firing on all cylinders and it really did look like they were going to boat race Arizona. And then the Eddie Pinierro extra point happened and it felt like wow, something shifted there. I think Mike Evans definitely put a damper on things. I think people were concerned about him. But ultimately that was a little interesting as well.

And then Arizona got, you know, a couple of things. The football bounced you away momentum is a real thing in football. And Seren Neal being on the ground. You never want to be on the ground. But the ball hits him and they get that special team turnover. And that really flipped the game. Because the 49ers defense had just gotten a three and now they were they continued to battle. I've done the defense battle all week and all game. And now you're going to look up and see 30 points. And see the defense played terrible. When in reality they didn't. But they got put in a couple of tough situations. And that was one of them. So that was that was crazy. That was crazy to see. And you know, and you know, people are talking about Brock pretty and chat. And we got to say Brock pretty that throw he made where he ran to the sideline that ends up being incomplete. Where he throws off one foot to Luke Farrell. That could have been one of the most ridiculous completions that we've seen. And you know, I seen a lot of people saying that would have been Patrick the Holmes. You know, Chris Collins worth would have never stopped talking about it. That's 100% true. Brock pretty is a playmaker.

He operates outside the framework of the four years offense. And I thought that he did a pretty good job with that. Now, we talked about the injuries a little bit. Don't seem to be as bad. I'm going to try to keep you know, a a a tab on what's going on with the injuries as far as what Kyle Shannon says. If you guys hear anything, you guys can put it in there. According to rap sheet Mike Evans has a rib strain. He's going to have a full evaluation tomorrow. So that could be a couple of games without Mike Evans. But in the grand scheme of things, nothing too ridiculous. So so that's going to be something to monitor. Some of the other injuries will be there to talk about his wealth throughout the week. Grace and Halden was dealing with cramps and he was okay. Dre Greenwald was a quad. There's going to be something when it comes to contact. The quad is not so bad. Usually you can kind of overcome quad injuries are a little bit different than some of the other injuries that you have to deal with. So on the injury front, it's good. And you know, there's a little bit of help coming the 49ers way too.

Because it's being reported that Matthew Judeon is going to sign with the San Francisco 49ers tomorrow. So he went on to all 32 films podcasts or something like that. And he said that he's going to sign with the San Francisco 49ers. So that is circulating all around Twitter. I'm sure the 49ers will end up making that official coming up down the road. But Matthew Judeon coming in. And I don't know if that's going to be an official 53 spot. That's going to be a practice squad spot. But I would say with Mike Evans being out next week, it's probably very likely that the San Francisco 49ers are going to elevate Brandon Cook. So that's something to check out for sure. And you know, you got to love this. The electrical substation just showed up in chat. And we got to hopefully I don't pull a vocal cord or something as the electrical substations here saying, sorry, I'm late. I had a busy day at work today. You definitely did and hilarious right there. A phenomenal coming through chat. I appreciate that. That was good.

And you know what else was good for the 49ers? The running game was good for the 49ers. Christian McCaffrey 15 carries for 75 yards. He had a five yard per carry average. That was phenomenal. They ran the ball 23 times. I think they would love to run the ball more than 23 times. But they got 140 yards on those carries. And it was it was not just Christian McCaffrey, but Kaelin Blackhead four carries for 17 yards. He went out of 4.3 clip. Debo had two carries for 14 yards going at seven yards per carry. And his run like jet sweeps and things like that. So those were highly effective. And then Brock Birdie had two for 34. And it could have been even more if they didn't call George Kittle for the the whole. But I thought the running game for the 49ers was the story. And you know, a lot was being made about the run defense of the 49ers. And Jeremiah Love was successful. Jeremiah Love had 21 carries for 90 yards at 4.3. I told Mark Adams on our show yesterday that if the 49ers held the Arizona Cardinals

anywhere near 100 yards on the ground that they were going to win this game. And the Arizona Cardinals ran the ball 27 times for 93 yards at a 3.4 average. That is that's good run defense. And I get it. They were giving up yards on the ground, but they were making plays when they really needed to. So the 49ers run offense was good. The 49ers run defense was holding up even with all the guys that had to bring up from the practice squad. All the different changes along the defensive line. The 49ers were doing a really good job in that category. And then there's the areas you have to win, right? And the 49ers were good on third down again. Five of eight. Now I do believe that they gave up way too many third down conversions to the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals were 9 of 18 50 percent. And how about this two of two on fourth down? In area of the game that the 49ers weren't as successful against Arizona. And Arizona only came into this game converting on third down at 34 percent. So that is something that the 49ers got to make sure they're better at.

A lot of that was there was lots of third and short situations. 49ers got to be a little bit more stingy. But overall, you know, the defense was able to get the job done. No turnovers in this game for either team. So that did not play a factor into this game. The 49ers average 8.7 yards per play to the Arizona Cardinals 4.5 yards per play. Part of that, the 49ers had the explosive 80 yard hook and ladder, which was extremely phenomenal. And then how about the 49ers in the red zone two of two again. So they came into this game at 86 percent scoring touchdowns in the red zone. They go 100 percent in this game. They're going to be the best red zone offense in the NFL. It's just I've been saying this. And I think it's going to ring true even without Mike Evans. They were scoring touchdowns and they're just so good inside the red zone. And Arizona did good inside the red zone as well. They were a three of five. The big, big lopsided part of this game. The Arizona Cardinals held the ball for 38 minutes and 44 seconds to the 49ers.

Just 21 minutes and 16 seconds. That was the lopsided portion of this game. But ultimately it was a pretty good game. I just think that the 49ers were on defense holding on down the stretch. And I think that that's one of the tough things is holding on. If you guys want to bet, you should bet on tonight's game. It's available. If you want to bet on tonight's game, the Los Angeles Rams are the favorite against the different Broncos. Of course, 49ers line up against the Broncos next week. And I'm sure they're going to be watching this game. But bet with Fandall, the Rams going at one and a half point favorite. That's going to minus 102. The Rams are the Broncos. The underdogs going at minus 120. The over under it's 44 and a half. The overgoing at minus 105. The undergoing at minus 115. And if you want to just wait and bet on the 49ers versus Broncos next week, the 49ers open as a two and a half point favorite over the visiting Denver Broncos. The 49ers going at minus 120.

The Broncos going at 102. The over under stated slated right now at 46 and a half. So if you want to bet, bet with Fandall. So Fandall provides a little extra if you guys are into that. And the 49ers already open as a two and a half point favorite against the Broncos at home. So that's going to be extremely interesting to see. Now back to the game, because I want to talk a little bit about George Kittle. George Kittle, we forget that he had the Achilles injury. And in this game, he goes for six catches for 82 yards and two touchdowns. He had 13.7 yards per reception, a 20 yard reception over the middle on just seven targets. George Kittle also tied Vernon Davis with 55 touchdowns for fourth most perceptions for touchdowns in 49ers history. Absolutely phenomenal.

And so I got to give George Kittle his 49ers were able to get some guys with some explosive plays. And George Kittle was a big reason why he's a big part of this game. Mike Evans with a touchdown, T-Bose Samuel with the 80 yard touchdown with the hook and ladder. And then George Kittle with two touchdowns, Brock Purtie, you know, getting the ball out there. And then how about Jordan Watkins? Everyone's been wanting Jordan Watkins out there. You know, he, this was the moment he had to seize his opportunity with there being opportunities for him to get out there and step on the field. Jordan Watkins has two catches for 60 yards at a 30 yard average. And one of those was 34 yards. He just had the two targets and both of those were big plays. It was really good to see him getting involved in the offense. And the one at the end of the half ended up being extremely pivotal. The Arizona Cardinals go ahead and get some points. And they don't leave the 49ers much time. The 49ers turn it right back around and go for a two for one. And they get those points right there, turn it around with a touchdown to open the second half. Kyle loves those 10 point swings.

You know, those are the kind of things that they like to do. And they did that in that situation. So it was nice seeing Jordan Watkins be able to produce when it came to catching the football. And the leading receivers in this game, you had George Kittle with six catches. Watkins with two McCaffrey had four for 41. He was effective again. And he was going to be a problem against Mack Wilson. He did a good job. And then Mike Evans before he was out three catches for 34 yards and a touchdown. And that touchdown was was fantastic. I love the the fact that he went and Wade didn't ever put his hands up. Denzel Burke never knew that he was going for the football and the ball whistle right over. Denzel Burke's head. He catches the football. And he tosses to the fan that looks like Jack Black. Lots of people thought that was Jack Black. My wife thought it was Jack Black. And then he's wearing the great Trent Williams t-shirt as well. So it was a great play by Mike Evans. And that's the effect of Evans. I do think that not having Mike Evans the next two weeks puts a strain on the 49ers.

Go against the Denver Broncos defense in the Seattle Seahawks defense. But I think that you look at this 49ers offense overall. And you know, it's like Joe said in the chat here. He said he said the 49ers offense is a juggernaut. And I do believe the same thing. The offense is a juggernaut. They are scoring points on points on points. And you know, the last two weeks they scored over 30. So this offense they're able to produce. And so I do believe that they can produce even with the injuries. And everybody out there's still a lot of the football to be spread around to multiple guys. And thanks so much, Kimbrough for the Super Chat. Can't stay, fellas. We got the the W A to thought K white played well. Givens was solid Brock is the MVP. So thanks so much for for Kimbrough. We got the W. And so got it got a done key on white played really well. Now that I'm actually deciphering it and slowing down.

And Givens was solid Brock is the MVP. And you know what? That is something that we haven't got to talk about yet. And I'm glad Kimbrough brought it up. Was the 49ers much more line defensive line, right? The conversation going into this was Nick Boses not playing. How are the 49ers going to be able to generate pass rush? And we knew that it was going to entail linebackers and safeties. And everybody else coming and giving help. But the guys who ended up getting the sacks in this football game were defensive linemen. Keon White was putting pressure on Jacobi percent a lot in this game. And he got to cap it off with a big sack in the fourth quarter. That was really nice. And then Oqaaron Quo able to get a sack on Jacobi percent as well. So they were able to sack him twice. And how about the fact that they were just constantly putting pressure on? Whether it was Grayson Holton or it was Osa Adegi Zua or it was Kevin Gibbons getting the big hit.

They were constantly putting pressure on Jacobi percent. And so I thought that that was very nice to see. And we saw some of the Holt. And we saw some of Kevin Gibbons. And those guys were able to make things happen. And so it was a good day for the 49ers defensive line. And it was a good day for Fred Warner. Fred Warner had 17 tackles in this game. Eight of them solo. One tackle for loss, which is the play he timed. The snap perfectly and got in the backfield. It was able to make the play on the running back. Jeremiah Love before he even had a chance to do anything. That was phenomenal. And this is just, I mean, Fred Warner just being Fred Warner. He's phenomenal. But the quarterback hits in this game. They had five. They got two sacks. They had three tackles for loss. They had five passes defended. This was a very, very solid 49ers. Your SoCal Honda dealers are honored to help the community. And so I'm glad Kimbro brought up. The fact that he on white played well and Kevin Gibbons played well because they really did. And Kevin Gibbons was a guy that the four-nierer had cut could kind of put out there. And then all of a sudden, here he comes. And he did a really good job in this game and that veteran ability to get in there. He's still a pretty good pass rusher. And so it was good to see the 49ers get after.

This reminded me a lot of the Chris Kiseric defensive lines of old where it was like pressure, pressure, pressure, pressure. And I thought they did a good job, ultimately. And 216 says, what did you think of the Hulk? I thought he was good. I watched him. I want to get where I can watch the plays inside now. You know, every single play of the all-22 film. Just watch him back to back. But I saw times where I felt like he was getting some movement up front and resetting the line of scrimmage. I thought he was aggressive. He was working really hard. So those things are usually what translate for him. He's definitely a penetrator. All those guys are Oso Diggy, Zua, Grace and Holton. Kevin Gibbons, Sebastian Valdez. They're all guys who are disruptors. They're penetrators. They get in the backfield and they make plays. And I thought that he was doing a pretty good job. Do I think he's going to all of a sudden be elevated to the active roster? I don't. But I do think that he once again showed why John Lynch took the KMBR and said, hey, he's somebody that we really like.

And so I think that that is as part of what we really like. I love this from Rob Louter from the Striking Gold podcast. By the way, he put Diarmor Lennore got face-masking the in-zone and was flagged for passion and appearance. Yes, that did happen. That was hilarious, by the way. The fact that they threw a flag on that play. Because it was 100% of face-mask. And so it's really interesting to see sometimes how the NFL does that. So Mike Evans, according to Kyle Shanahan, this official has a rib oblique injury. It didn't know the nature of the injury at this point. So we've got the reports right now that it's a strain. We'll see. If it's a strain and not a pull, that is definitely a lot better for the 49ers. But the 49ers were able to withstand the injuries and get it. What's interesting is the amount of times during this game where people started tweeting and feeling like the 49ers were going to lose this game. The 49ers wheeled themselves to win this game.

And I thought that you saw the 49ers biggest players making the biggest plays when they actually had to. It starts with Brock Pertey. And listen to these stats for Brock Pertey so far this season. Because I do want to continue to put this out. This Brock Pertey is a stabilizing force within this 49ers football team. He's 60 of 83. That's 72% completion percentage for 789 yards. He has 93 rushing yards, 10 total touchdowns, nine of those to the air. And the 49ers are 3 and 0. They just keep finding ways to win. It's absolutely great news for the 49ers because you have to you have to win these tough games. When you have injuries and you have things not going your way. And the fact that he's able to get out there, you know, these guys are able to get out there and continue to play and continue to play well, I think is a great time for the 49ers. So yeah, I mean, it wasn't, wasn't a perfect game. No, is there things the 49ers need to clean up? Absolutely.

But did they execute when they had to? Absolutely. And I don't think it's as bad. I think we're going to go back and watch this. And I think there's going to be a lot of things that aren't as bad. There's going to be a few things that need to clean up. One thing they got to clean up is third down defense. And we've seen them kind of take advantage of the 49ers on the outside, on third down, hitting those, you know, hitting Wilson on those slants. That is one area of the 49ers are going to have to clean up as they go into the next two weeks. So that's going to be something to watch because they need to be able to get off the field on third down. They need to be able to get the ball back and their offense is hands. Their offense is a jug or not. The offense is good. They can run the ball effectively. They have playmakers that can make plays down the field. It was good to see the explosive nature of the 49ers offense. Again, Debo Samuel is the first 49ers player. I think since 2024 to record a top speed over 20 miles per hour with the ball in his hands that he did in this game when he scored that touchdown, the ADR touchdown on the hook and ladder.

That is one thing that this 49ers offense was missing. Was that whole shot ability? And it's back. And a big reason why is Debo Samuel. Debo Samuel has been phenomenal for the 49ers. And I think that he's continuing to help this football team a ton. And we're seeing him kind of operate within the offense. And Kyle Shan is doing a good job of letting everything come to him. He's not force feeding anyone. He's not force feeding McCaffrey, not force feeding kiddo, not force feeding Debo or Mike Evans. Or whoever it is, he's letting everything play out and just letting Brock Purti be the guy willing to throw it. And you know what? We almost got a Jacob Cowan catch. We got two Jordan Watkins catches. We almost got a Jake Cowan catch. So it was it was fun. You know, we got these we got this question here from from Diamond says what was your initial reaction to Watkins day? I think you had a great day. You know what I mean? I mean, when you look at Jordan Watkins, he's not a great blocker. He's not going to help you on special teams. So he's got to make an impact catching the football.

Like that's what he does well. He runs pretty good routes and he can make plays catching the football and he had two catches for 60 yards. One of those a 34 yard explosive play that got the 49ers into field goal range at the end of the half. Those are big plays. That is a great step forward for Jordan Watkins. Now with all players, you always say this every single week. It's about consistency. What can he do next week? He's probably going to have to help next week. Mike Evans is more than likely going to be out for a little while. So that means he'll Brandon Cook's Jordan Watkins, Jacob Cowan, Caderral, Hodge, Debo Samuel, like that's your wide receiver room right now. 49ers need those guys to be effective. So I do think Jordan Watkins was impactful in this game. You don't go with a 30 yard average on receptions unless you're making plays down the field. So that was big. It was a good first step for Jordan Watkins. Now he needs to build upon that. And all the while he needs to get a little bit better at blocking. I don't think they're going to use them on special teams. So I'm not really worried about that.

But that is extremely important for this 49ers football team is him making plays. And 415K says Debo is a yak monster. He really is. And that's what Peter Garrison saying too. Debo is a monster. That yak attack is something the 49ers missed last year. And Debo still gives you that ability. Now you still have all the weapons. But then you have this one guy. And I hope that other guys end up getting there. So Debo is one guy that if you get the ball in his hands, there is no guarantee that he doesn't take you to the house every single time. Like he's got a shot to break a tackle, to outrun somebody to make something happen. Because Debo is just a different player with the ball in his hands. And so I think that that is one area that he helps his football team is just the ability to threaten and opposing defense with his ability to get out there and make a play. So 49ers have plenty of weapons. And they tried to get the ball to use check. He didn't work out. He almost had one of the sickest catches. I've ever seen that one handed catch would have been great.

And they almost had the explosive to Jacob Cowling down the field. I think Brock would have led him a little bit more. It probably would have been there. But it was good to see the ball going in their direction. Right, Jordan Watkins, Jacob Cowling, that was extremely important. 49ers past defense. They gave up too many yards this week. They gave up 38 receptions for 280 yards. A little bit more than you like to see now. The cardinals are playing from behind. So you always let that play into it. But that's something they want to clean up. I think if you look at just this game in general, the things you've got to clean up the most have to be the third down defense, which I think allowed the Arizona Cardinals to stay on the field too much to win the time of possession and ultimately stay in this football game. But I think that, you know, that is something that Raheem Morris did and this defense did really well against the Los Angeles Rams League. They haven't been as good the last two weeks this week. It definitely was the worst that we've seen it. The other area is red zone.

49ers have been phenomenal in the red zone today. They were not as great. They give up two of three inside the red zone before this. They were only given up touchdowns at 20%. So those are two markers. The 49ers need to make sure that they clean up a little bit. You've got to be better on third down, get off the field and you've got to be red zone. So it's one of those huge things. And how about this from 415 keys, 0sacks again. The O line is the most surprising unit so far. Yeah, and really they don't even get penalized very much. You know, I mean, the holding call on Colton McKibits was, that was a little bit soft. And so you're right. They're not giving up sacks. They're doing a great job of giving Brock pretty time. And when there is something, you know, somebody slips by, Brock pretty is doing a great job escaping, extending plays, making things happen, throwing off platform. It's a really good group together, right? This offensive line. And even when Trent Williams went out, most time, right, everyone would be holding their breath. Videri and Lowe went in and handled business, right?

The four years still moved the ball on the ground. They were able to hold up in pass protection. So that was a great investment for the 49ers going out and getting Videri and Lowe. And what an improvement that is over 40 and their swing tackles over the last couple of years. So you're right. Offensive line. Really look good in this one. What's up to my guy, Lou? He says, Ant, three and oh, that's what matters. Too many injuries at the upcoming games are tough. The D will have to be better. And you know, three and oh is the big part of it. Two and oh, and division is huge. This game against Denver is important, right? Because you want to go four and oh. Really that game against Seattle is more important than the game against Denver. So you do want to win every single game you play. But if you're going to drop one, it needs to be the Denver one, which is a out of conference game. And it's a situation we're playing a tough defense. They're going to go in there trying to win. But if they have guys that they need to make sure that they don't push too hard to force them to have injuries down the road, they need to be careful with that. But you're right. There are tough games.

There are some injuries that are building up for the 49ers. The only hope is that these guys are going to be ready to go, right? These are not long term injuries. So the D will have to be better. That is 100% sure. And you know, this one comes from the A a D bow. I don't want to say your name wrong. I'm sorry. He says, y'all still going to hate on Jordan Watkins? I'm not hating on Jordan Watkins. I've been keeping it real with Jordan Watkins. Jordan Watkins hadn't done enough to earn or the right to get on the field. I've said openly, he got an opportunity. What's he going to do with his opportunity? He made plays. I was happy with him. But I don't think is hating when a guy is not doing enough to get on the field. He even went to Kyle Schaenden and asked, why am I not getting on the field? It's not hate. It's just reality. And I think that Jordan Watkins has got a lot of talent, but he doesn't do the extra things that make him available for this football team. You got to be one of the top three receivers where you got to play special teams. He's not good enough on special teams to be better than Cadero Hodge or Jacob Cowling.

And don't take my word for it. That's what Kyle Schaenden told Matt Meoco on their conversation on Saturday. So that is just the reality of the situation. Now Jordan Watkins makes plays like this where he's going to have 30 yards per reception and he's going to have an opportunity to play, especially with Mike Evans being injured and DeMarcus Robinson being out. And Christian Kirk still on IR. First things all play into it, but I was very excited to see what he could do because I was a fan of Jordan Watkins ability in this game. For sure. I was a fan. And like Peter said, at the end of the day, the 49ers get a big dub. And I'm still waiting for Jacob Cowling to make a play beyond special teams. I want him to be involved in so far he hasn't been able to do it. Danes says, what are your thoughts on the coaching job today? I thought it was really good by Kyle Schaendenhan. I thought that Kyle Schaendenhan's game plan was phenomenal. And so he continues to kind of go outside the norms even on what he's done in the past. The fact that he threw the ball down the stretch and was able to move the ball consistently

and trust Brock Pertie and then go for a broke and go. George Kittle on the play act and pass and get the touchdown. That is not typical Kyle Schaendenhan to go for, you know, but in this game. So I thought that that was really great. I thought defensively where he more came out with a great plan. I think they focused a lot on overcoming their weakness, what was stopping the run. And unfortunately for them, they let the opposing team convert too many on third down. So he's going to have to reevaluate a couple of things. Special teams, unfortunately, Eddie Piniero misses a couple extra points. Sarrae and Neil, who's one of the best special teams players in the league, ends up on the ground. Never can let that happen. Ball bounces hits him. That's a turnover. So special teams let the 49ers down today. It's not Brent Boyer's fault. But that's the truth. And then when you look at the defense where he more, he's going to want a couple of things back. But overall, I think that they're coaching hard. But they are definitely having to withstand some injuries that are complicating things. And I think they're going to look at that, you know, to make some things happen, you know.

And 4015 key says, I, the first place is ours. Now, let's keep it. We need to make a trade for a defense tackle and sign letter for ASAP. Matthew Judon is the one that's expected to be signed tomorrow. So it doesn't look like Leonard Floyd right now is in the cards for the 49ers. It could be the Matthew Judon as well, willing to go to the practice squad. 49ers got some real roster decisions to make. So, you know, flexibility is one of those keys. So that's probably going to be a big part of it. And then when it comes to a trade for a defensive tackle, I think they're going to have to wait till closer to the trade deadline, right? Somebody's going to have to get out of this thing. So I'm looking at Owen three teams, but they're going to have to get further down. Houston Texans, they're at Owen three right now. That was a big loss. The Annapolis Colts would they eventually start trading off parts? They have a lot of very valuable parts. Our defense is really good. You have a good relationship with Dmitriko Ryan's. Maybe that happens down the road. But we'll see. I mean, things still have to play out. I don't think anyone's willing, even at Owen three, to say, hey, we're going to start trading guys.

But the 49ers definitely want that to happen. And, you know, shooter says great thing. Good thing we have a great offense. 100%. I completely agree with that sentiment. It is a good thing. The 49ers have a great offense. And I hope you guys all have a great day. Enjoy the 49ers three and no first place in the NFC West. I'm going to check out things for watching.
