And it started spraying out of the bathroom ceiling. I won't lie. It was actually kind of funny. Like I just laughed at it. Oh, this is your old apartment. It's my old apartment. Oh, yeah. This was my college apartment. Okay. Down in Orham. Maybe I shouldn't name them. The Pike Burst in the bathroom. One of the craziest things I've ever seen in my life. I just so much water coming out of this pipe and no way to stop it. We called the place and we're like emergency. There is a lot of water coming out of this pipe. And they're like, well, you're on the list. What do you mean we're on the list? I kid you not. They came. They came and fixed it eventually. There's a lot of water. But they came and fixed it. Got it right. But well, they were fixing it. This is why you call Valley Plumbing, Keating and Cooling right here.

2:07Well, the people that they had come and fixed it were fixing it. My man used the heat gun to finish off the new plaster that was put in place on the ceiling. Got the heat gun too close to the sprinkler. Oh, no. To the fire sprinkler and set off the entire fire sprinkler system with the heat gun trying to finish the repair. And we did it all over again. Jordan being Uchi. All I hear in the this is a true story, 1000% true. All I hear in the other room was a lot of swearing. I was going to say it, but I figured, no, I probably shouldn't say that on there. Oh, gosh darn it. And he just sprints out the front door. He sprints out the front door out the front door. He went to go turn off the water. Oh, that's funny. But yeah, he sprints out the front door and we're just left with our sprinklers in the entire apartment going off.

3:08Oh, imagine not just the bath. Oh, yeah. Oh, it was a mess. So when the initial leak happened, how long did it take him to get there? At least 10 minutes, which is an eternity, Jordan. When you have the touching wall. Oh, it was hundreds of gallons per second. It was all over. Like we were bucketing things into the tub to try and make sure that our carpet wasn't going to get all messed up. Oh, that's funny. Yeah, it was incredible. My friend at the time that I was roommates with, he worked graveyards. This was in the middle of the day. And he wakes up and opens the door from the bedroom and he goes, what the is going on out here. So anyway, that's why you need to call the professionals at valley plumbing heating and cooling. They're not going to use the heat gun next to the sprinkler system. And you know the apartment, the landlord didn't replace that car. And he was like, yeah, it's a little spongy, but it's basically, we basically washed it. So this is now as goes new.

We've had him on the show before to talk about Kansas, former Kansas beat writer. Yeah. So he moved from Kansas. He wrote an interesting article about apartment hunting in Salt Lake City. Yeah. You didn't see this in the Tribune. Apparently in Salt Lake. And he, his budget's a little higher than mine because he's like, he was to, I guess these really nice apartment complexes downtown are offering a bunch of perks. Yeah. If you sign up with them. Um, I apparently am below that price range because when I apartment hunt, they are offering asked to me. Uh, nothing. I saw in some cases, it's like a $3,000 gift card.

5:10Yeah. To what? You know what I got offered? Visa. Exactly. You know what they offered me? Raccoons in the G. Dam wall. That's what they offered me. That's what I got from my apartment. Hey, I just got the renewal on our apartment. Yeah. They came in lower on our next year's rent. Now we're talking. They lowered rent. Now we're talking. How about that? Yeah. I like that. Things are finally turning around people. Okay. Lower rent this year. All right. Uh, let's jump into our top headlines real quick before we welcome in our friend. Uh, from Cash Valley Daily. Eric Trance and coming up here in just a couple of minutes. George B. Nucci, Spencer Gover, Governor Spencer Cox, jumped on to a podcast conversation with Jeff Passon to do an interview about Major League expansion in Salt Lake City. And this is what the two spoke about on Omaha productions just the other day. Why is Utah the right place for Major League Baseball? We've already done the thing that is the hardest part to do.

6:12If you look at the A's moving to Las Vegas, the last thing they got done and think that almost killed that. The thing that almost killed that deal was they couldn't get a stadium done. We already did this. We did it a couple of years ago. I mean, we're still far ahead of this. A Miller group is designing the actual stadium right now. They have the design partners. We know what this is going to be, what this is going to look like. It's going to take other municipalities and other states a long time to catch up just on that piece alone. Oh, what? Jeff Passon recently put out a piece in ESPN.com speaking about how Salt Lake City's jumped everybody as the number one expansion place in the Western portion of the United States. And it sounds like it's going to happen. George B. Newtchie, they are far ahead of the other candidates. I'm saying yes, absolutely. Bring Major League Baseball here to the market. I'm also saying understand the trade-off that you're going to have. That's the whole point that I've tried to make in the last 24 hours. Yeah, and you haven't done it well because everyone hates you now. Yeah, our ratings have just tanks.

7:14They're like, oh, yeah, I'm going to listen to the guy that hates baseball and wants to save Utah Tech football. He's on it. He's on a crusade because he loves the trailblazers. What the biker are you talking about? You and Freakin Rod Zundle out here going door to door. I know. I'm with you. It would be pretty surprising. Well, I said it in the first hour. It would be shocking if Utah didn't get a team at this point. The only way maybe it doesn't happen is another city is able to get an ownership group together. And somehow it's more attractive than Salt Lake. But I don't even know where that would be. You know what, really quick is amazing about all this. If I'm a really rich person looking for baseball or want to own a baseball team and make gobs and gobs of money. You want to know where I would bring a baseball team? Oakland. Or what? Like, like, you are the one of the biggest markets in the country doesn't have a team.

8:14And if you, I mean, that's what's amazing to me is you look at the expansion cities and Oakland isn't, isn't on there. It's because they don't want to give a public money to help fund the stadium. But that's what the number one reason is. I know, but that's what's crazy is if I am a billionaire. I go, I'll build the stadium. I'm going to make a ton, like, you will make so much money for it. It's, that's just is wild to me. Yeah, but you can make more if you get $900 million of taxpayer money. No, it's true. It's a whole racket is absolutely a racket. All right. That's your major league baseball news this morning from Jeff Passon in governor Spencer Cox. Let's jump over to college football where a whole lot of mess is happening. Jordan Beannucci just the other day, the SEC scheduled a vote about whether to expel LSU from the conference following that scheduled vote. And a request for a temporary restraining order against LSU from the SEC to a local judge. Now LSU has apparently completed their roster without adding X NFL players in a response to said scheduled vote.

9:23Now, Jordan Beannucci does this mean that the LSU Tigers will no longer be voted. And will this vote continue now? Is my question because now attorney Ryan Downton who represents both of the two NFL players that were supposedly going to be on the LSU roster. He told LSU, he told the SPN that the players are considering their legal options against the SEC and LSU now. The SEC filed a federal lawsuit against LSU last week regarding the school's potential plans to add former NFL players. They amended it on Tuesday with the report that I just mentioned. And the league said it has scheduled the meeting this Thursday with its presidents and chancellors to vote on whether to terminate LSU's membership in the SEC. Will this continue on now that they've made the decision not to put those players on the roster? Is the question everybody has moving forward? I would think not. I would think now that they've decided for the year that they are not going to put those players on the roster, the SEC will back off.

10:29Because the whole point of this, the reason the SEC took this so seriously and was seriously going to have a vote about kicking LSU out of the SEC is they want to establish the fact that they can make rules that are binding in the conference. LSU essentially said no, we know you made a rule but no, we're not going to follow it. And the courts will back us up on this. And they, LSU did not want to call the SEC's bluff because I don't think it was a bluff. I think they were willing to go to the mat and try to kick LSU out. And I think LSU finally realized that and were like, we do not want to, this is not worth it. Two dudes from NFL training camp to possibly kick out of the SEC. I don't think it would have happened, obviously, but just the whole process of it would have been a disaster. Similarly, just the other day, the big 12 dropped their lawsuit against Texas Tech because of the Brennan-Sorzby situation.

11:29And that came after Texas Tech finalized its 115 player roster for the upcoming season as well. So once that 105 was finalized, then the big 12 said, okay, we'll drop the lawsuit that is against Texas Tech at this moment. So similarly, an enforcing product is essentially what that was. Yeah, yeah, so I mean, this was like the Cuban Missile Crisis. This thing came down to the last second and LSU and Gorbachev, they backed off a little bit. They called their bluffs on that as well. Obviously, I made an ass out of myself.

13:32It was obviously crucious. And there's a drive to deep right field. Castillanos takes the lead for the Phillies. Yeah, just, you know, see you tomorrow on on Bryce and Be a Nuchi. I suppose that's it for us. All right, we will. We'll continue on here. We'll move over to college football as we jump up to Logan, Utah. And get out to the ESP and the fan call online and welcome our good friend from Cash Valley media. It is Eric France and who joins us. He covers the Utah State Aggies and more. And he's here on Bryce and be a Nuchi Eric. Glad to have you on this morning. How we feeling on this Wednesday? We're still trying to recover from Saturday, but we're hanging in there. Well, speaking of recovering from Saturday, I tuned into the post game show afterwards. You're a brutal phone call. It was listen, I love the phone calls that come in. I love when people are trying to voice their emotions and everything that they just witnessed after I don't state goes into Logan and beats Utah State.

14:39And there was a lot of unhappy Aggie fans. And clearly so what went wrong on Saturday for Utah State to even end up in that position in the first place? A little bit of everything. I mean, to be honest, they just didn't appear prepared enough. They weren't physical enough. They got out coached. I mean, every part of the game, Idaho State played better. They had better coaching. They had better defense. They had better offense. They clearly had better special teams. And you know, after the first half, it was like a rough go, but it still kind of felt like this. Anybody's game. Both teams had negative rushing yards to figure out. Aggies would get it put together in the second half, but kind of a rough first half, but don't figure it out. It just got worse. So yeah, the phone calls were justified in the anger and frustration by Aggie fans everywhere. There's a lot of fans trying to figure out like what's going on and what does this future look like this season? Because one, we didn't know.

15:41Because Bronco, men and hall just doesn't let anybody see his team before the season begins. There was some glimmer of hope and optimism, but after Saturday, it's not much left after that. Talk to me a little bit about Robert and I. What did you think about his offense the way that he was calling the offense? It seemed like at times that offense couldn't get three yards on the goal line. What do you think about the way that the offense was called and what Robert and I brought to the table in game one? Yeah, I think there were elements that were interesting. And I think one of the big questions was, you know, would Utah state have any wide receivers? Because there was only one guy coming back who had any recorded catches for Utah state. And the wide receivers look good. Play calling was interesting. I think there's this stand up mesh, RPO that has a lot of us baffled where the quarterback goes to hand it off to the running back. And they both stand still for a minute, going to surveying the defense.

16:42So there's no momentum going into the line, but Bronco men and Hall said this week that he, he and Robert and I got that from watching Wake Forest a few years back. But I think that Robert and I, I don't know that it's his play calling necessarily that surprised me. It's just that the team generally lacked execution and physicality, which I think that surprised me the most. And then they were like moving guys around on the offensive line and experimenting with guys in different positions. I get it. There've been some injuries, but they've had like all spraying an all fall camp to figure out who does best in what position. And then the game happens and they're moving guys around like they're still trying to figure it out. That was a surprise. Walk me through the quarterback situation. Obviously, McKay Hill said had a rough day, but I understand that there was maybe a true freshman quarterback that could have played. But I guess he didn't earn his number in fall camp, something that Bronco men and Hall has done before in the past. Walk us through this situation and why Aggie fans were so upset with that.

17:44Yeah, I mean, if you're going to any team that's struggling and the backup quarterback or somebody else that's on the depth chart there, becomes the most popular guy on campus. I mean, it's universally true. And so Utah States, you know, first string quarterback goes out there and struggles and throws three interceptions. And so you're like searching for somebody who could be better. The backup quarterback comes in and he throws an interception. Seems like he's more interested in running the ball than throwing the ball. And so it's like, what is there anybody else that can come in and do something. And so there was a lot of hype around this freshman quarterback who recruit out of Texas Caleb Maryland. And and his high school tape and he played at a high level in Texas and he looks good. I mean, he's got a good arm. He's definitely got speed. But when I saw him, the one time we actually did see this team, like we saw this team once before the game on Saturday. And that was a spring scrimmage back in April. And that's the only time anybody is seeing players on the field take snaps outside of a real game.

18:47And in that scrimmage, Caleb Maryland was there. He left school early high school early. So we could get to Utah State in January to be with the team to start understanding the playbook and all that. But in that spring scrimmage, it was clear that McKay Hillstead was the number one quarterback. Grady Brosterhouse was number two. And then Caleb Maryland was number three. And he wasn't quite ready for the speed and physicality at this level. But then going to what you just said, like Bronco, men it all has a system that you everything is earned, not given. And you'll in practice with the course of fall camp, you have to earn like what color Jersey you wear. And then you have to earn like having your name on the Jersey. And then you have to earn getting the opportunity to choose your number. And so there's all these things that have to be done and starts in the off season as well. But all these things that players have to do in order to earn the opportunity to play. And certainly you can't play unless you have a Jersey number.

19:50But it's not Bronco, men and hull determining if a player to get to get a Jersey number or not. It's his team's leadership council. It's the players who decide, are you ready? Have you done what you need to do to qualify to choose a number. So you're ready to play and contribute. So I know that a lot of the criticism goes on Bronco. It is his system, which he implements. But it's the players who determine are there other players like their teammates. Are they ready to go? So I don't know what's going on behind the scenes. But clearly it looks like Caleb Maryland is not yet ready to go. Eric, is that kind of alarming to you that his own teammates kind of decided or not kind of decided that he wasn't. Yeah, ready to go. I mean, it's a little surprising to me, the other true freshman quarterback who nobody talks about. And that's Brady Goodman from Arizona. He's a big six three two hundred pound quarterback. He's earned a number. No one's talking about him just because we didn't see him.

20:51We don't know what we've what we potentially having him. But this isn't new like last year. There were a number of guys who didn't get their jersey numbers until midway through the season. And some guys never got a jersey number. And they just they basically washed out. They couldn't handle what Bronco men and all system demanded of them. So if there's a player who hasn't figured out if he hasn't embraced this Bronco men and all system. Then I know it's he's not going to see the field. Eric France and is here with us talking to Utah State. You can find them on 1069 at the fan up in cash Valley alongside KVN. You where you can hear the Aggie post game show and cash Valley daily for all Utah State coverage out of cash Valley. Eric, I want to ask you about Bronco men and halls off season activities. A lot of Aggie fans on that post game show were referring to pulling hand cards and different things. And a lot of people I think missed out on that storyline in the off season.

21:52What was that all about with Bronco men and all when did that take place when they went on this track and how did that play into what this team looks like right now? Yeah, and you know, yeah, some some fans were critical that Bronco men and all seems to be more interested in being basically a young men's advisor than he is and being a head coach at football coach. But you know what what he does to his credit. He's trying to build character and he's trying to connect his players to the community and to the heritage of that community. So yeah, during the summer during off season workouts, most of those were freshmen who were here through the summer. But he yeah, they lined up away. They could pull hand cards like you know pioneers did when they came across the planes and took them up hills and and because some of those people, the famous Utah heritage, the Willie hand card company. That guy eventually settled in cash valley. So there's definitely a connection there and Bronco men and all in the staff or trying to remind his kids that look, there are some things that are bigger than just football.

23:04He's trying to build men and trying to build character. And it's not just all about winning and I mean to his credit, he does a good job with that and the players by and large, they appreciate that and they love him for that. And so he gosh, this last year, he was one of the top coaches in the country with creating, you know, community service opportunities for his team. And that is a really, really big thing to him. And he believes that as those the reason behind that is not just building character and building young men, but he firmly believes that when they do that, they those players create a deeper connection to the communities in which they are part. And so he wants them to be connected to cash valley and the history of Utah State and and all that stuff. So that's just one of the things that that he's done to get his players connected and doing things outside of just practicing football. There's also a old interview that's popped up back on social media where Bronco men and Hall back in January of 2025 sat down with dad Wells and gave this quote saying quote, my goal is to work the least amount of hours in all of college football and quote now there is context in this in that context is he's a family man.

24:23He wants to get in get his work done and still be able to spend time with his family and have a normal life and be able to do that. He says, have you followed up with this when he got to Utah State? Is this still a core philosophy of Bronco men and Hall or is this not really something that's come up in your conversations with Bronco? That hasn't specifically come up in conversations I've had or been around, but I mean this guy definitely knows that he doesn't want to be that guy that's spending his evenings in his football office and getting to the office at 4 a.m. to review tape and sleeping on the couch because we're going to grind harder than anybody else. He's not that guy. Maybe there was a point where he was like that young in his career, but he hasn't been that guy for a long time. And he you can tell he approaches being a football coach is being a CEO and he has lieutenants who have their responsibilities and they have their divisions which they're responsible for and they report to him and he oversees everything, but he's not in the nitty gritty of everything.

25:32And you can see that approach just watching any football game. He's on the sidelines kind of roaming. He's not real boisterous. He's not animated. He lets his position coaches do what they need to do with their group their groups or their coordinators do what they need to do with their groups and he's trying to take a larger view of the overall process for the team. But yeah, this is a guy that's been in it for a long time is one of the winningest coaches in college football and over time he's kind of figured out what he thinks he's best at. I think that fans would appreciate maybe a little bit more animation on the sidelines just to show that he cares, but he was asked about that this week actually, you know, and his press conference on Monday. And he says, you know, don't don't confuse me being quiet for a lack of intensity. Every team I've ever been a part of when I was younger, I was a team captain, but I didn't talk a lot. And so he's like, you know, this don't don't confuse my lack of decorum or whatever or not decorum, but his lack of intensity or animation on the sideline be confused for a lack of intensity.

26:37So I guess take that as you will, but he's not a super animated guy doesn't talk a lot to the media or to the public, but he is a different guy when he's with his team. I've observed that in practices and I've observed that over time that he very much is a different guy when he's with his players, then he is with the public. Well, the road only gets harder from here. They're on the road at the Washington Huskies this upcoming weekend, then they have Utah after that Troy at home, Boise State on the road. Has the expectation expectations changed for this Utah State team following the loss of Idaho's to Idaho State over the season? And what are the new expectations moving forward if that is the case? Yes, absolutely. I mean, how do you lose to an SDS team in your opener and not have expectations changed? I mean, we were looking at this like, honestly, I tried to just take an honest approach to what I knew about the team to try to project what their win loss record would be. And I thought, you know what? I think this team could win seven games. Maybe that's a little optimistic, but I, but from my interviews, what I've been able to research on the team and what this, you know, what they're capable of with the roster looks like and the schedule looks like I could see a path to seven wins in the regular season.

27:53Well, now I don't know if they can get three. I don't know if it's not going to get any easier from this point on as you just to tell those are all tough teams. Troy, they were in the Sunbelt Championship came last year. I don't know if the Aggies can be Troy. I mean, it's at home and that's going to help, but Washington, Utah at Boise State. It's going to be a month before I think Utah State is going to be in a game where they might be favored. So it's going to be tough, but you know, that being said, this team last year struggled out of the gate. They couldn't contain the run offensively. They were sketchy, but as this season went on, they got better and better and better. They went on the road and beat Fresno State, who was a good team. They hosted Boise State and had them on the ropes and one fourth down conversion goes right and they beat Boise State. They had you and I'll be on the ropes and should have beat them in Las Vegas if they're kicker who was was good during the season. Suddenly doesn't get the yips and miss every easy field goal opportunity that he has.

28:56So this was a team last year that got better as this season went on and picked up wins at the end of the season that nobody saw coming. So I have to keep that in mind that Bronco, Mendenhall and his system sometimes it just takes his guys a little longer to really get dialed in and in the portal era transfer era. It just it takes longer than probably it normally would because you don't have that that many guys returning that can carry that forward and you're always having to reset. So I wouldn't count Bronco, Mendenhall and his staff out, but you're right. It's not getting any easier for the next month, month and a half. All right, one final question for you and this one has to do a little bit less of football in general and just kind of sponsorship dollars. We've been debating back and forth whether or not bringing a major league baseball team to the market. We'd eat up a lot of this corporate sponsorship money that is currently going to college athletic programs at the moment in time.

29:56Is there any worry in Logan about a major league baseball team coming in and less money going to the Aggies and what are your thoughts on that dynamic that nobody seems to be talking about with expansion to Utah? That's a really good question. Utah State just had a situation where the corporate sponsor reached out for the stadium naming rights. The corporate sponsor reached out to Utah State and said, hey, can we cancel our contract early? And so Utah State instead of finding another corporate sponsor, I think they tried. I don't know how hard they tried, but eventually decided, you know what, let's just rename the stadium to the guy who's given us millions and millions and millions of dollars. So corporate sponsorship is definitely a concern. I know that's been a big key for Utah State as they've been transitioning to the pack 12 to try to get more corporate sponsors.

30:58But because they, you know, a lot of that is more cash valley based, but they're still trying to draw out of the wasatch front because there are a number of alumni along the wasatch front. But if you're looking at another major league team, it's going to mostly draw from that wasatch front, but statewide stuff. If they want to truly be a statewide branded team. And that will, yeah, I mean, there will be, they're going to take money out of the market from someone, whether that's, you know, someone's radio budget, someone TV budget, someone's billboard budget, a university opportunity. Because they think, oh, well, instead of spending it with a couple of universities, let's spend it with the baseball program. Yeah, there is, there is that chance that those dollars are going to get slid away from someone else and over to this new baseball franchise. All right, Eric. 34:03Seems to be the hot topic this morning. Jordan Bienucci, terms of corporate sponsorship dollars and whether or not there's enough to go around here in the state of Utah. Now I think I've started an entire state debate because our friends up at Weaver State in Ogden are getting in on the conversation. Brett Hein who covers Weaver State sports does I think he did it for a long time for the Ogden examiner multiple different places. Then he branched off now he does his own thing with just Weaver HQ. So he's at Weaver HQ on X. He chimes in and says years each program became Division 1. Weaver State all the way back in 1963. That's impressive by Weaver State Southern Utah 1988 Utah Valley went Division 1 in 2004 now Utah Tech went in 2020. He says seven Division 1 schools with six playing football is a lot for this state. But one of these things is not like the other and I think he's referring to the fact that Utah Tech just recently went Division 1 and that's probably why Lance Anderson is talking about not having those resources because they chose a bad time to go for the game.

35:06That's probably why Lance Anderson chose a bad time to go for it and that very well could be true. My point still stands that I'm not just talking about Utah Tech. I used Utah Tech as an example. I am still talking about every other state in the school is going to suffer because major league baseball when they expand to this market is going to come in and poach corporate sponsorship money that's currently spending with those schools. I'm trying to make we can we can drop the idea that I'm only talking about Utah Tech or S U U. No, I'm talking about Utah even. I don't know how affected BYU is going to be so BYU probably out of the conversation because it seems like they can sustain themselves. Utah is going to be a little bit in trouble because Matt Brown of extra points who literally sees the fiscal budgets for every single university and the corporate sponsorship money that comes in and is in this. He's a freak in the sheets every single day. Matt Brown and he knows this also said on X and put out a thing he said he's going to write about this in the next couple of days about how if you're Utah University of Utah specifically you're a little bit worried with the Ocho capital trying to be able to pay back that money with the $500 million you pulled who brought in their own sales people to hopefully connect corporate sponsorships to the University of Utah.

36:29He said he would be a little bit worried if he was the University of Utah seeing Major League baseball potentially coming to this market go ahead Jordan. You have no one cares about Utah Tech price what are you talking about that's what I got from your tweet. Thank you. Yeah, I'm with him. I just I think there's only so much to go around and again we talked about where do you want if you're a corporate sponsor where are you getting the most eyeballs where do you want to invest and then it's going to be Major League baseball. Because it's all right we've talked about it and Eric alluded to it. It's already tough enough for these schools to get corporate sponsors. I assume he was referring to Maverick when he said that's correct the corporate sponsor. I just think he didn't want to give him any free air time. Sure. I can say pull their money. Yeah, the Maverick gas station pulled their money from sponsoring the naming rights to the Utah State football stadium. That that tells you that hey it's tough right now to get cash if you're these schools that aren't BYU and you talk to a certain degree.

37:34One tangent do you think now with buckies coming into the state of Utah they could rename it the buckies barn. The buckies there's an idea. The buckies barn. It's Utah State and Oregon State in a pack 12 match up here at the buckies barn. That's confusing because Oregon State their mascot's a beaver. I would get a little confusing that's I don't know. I don't see if buckies were to do that deal. Would you have to allow the buckies beaver to be part of your mascot rotation. I think you would. Buckies runs a tight ship. I think it's the move though. The buckies barn. I don't think buckies is going for it. It's a tough sell. Yes, a tough sell. Come on. That's a good one. Okay, maybe Utah Valley will get on that. Rename the UCCU center to the buckies barn. Absolutely. I mean, I'll tell you what I'm in. And whether or not we think that this will affect the current athletic departments across the state of Utah in sponsorship dollars. Specifically corporate sponsorships not talking about N I L. Paying players at this moment of time talking about corporate sponsorship money and revenue sharing because we already have a lot of athletic departments across state of Utah that are running in the red. 39:45I think it'll be the other sports collegiately will lose money. I also think you're going to lose market availability because when baseball comes in media companies are going to put baseball on instead of lower level college games. He says my guess is UVU would be the team to lose out as most that would lose the most as far as exposure in the media Jordan being into your thoughts. I don't think you've used my feel a little biased on this one. I will but you can't lose what you don't have if you're Utah Valley which is enough media exposure. The word there's a reason that I always complain. I've complained about this for 10 years as a UVU fan is I can't get UVU highlights. It's gotten so much better. But like five 10 years ago you wouldn't even get a score on the news from UVU. It takes it's it is interesting how it just takes so much time for you to exist in the public consciousness.

40:45I will give credit though they've done a much better job on the nightly news all four stations here in town have done a much better job of covering UVU. About damn time. I'm glad you're you give them credit so I will. Especially that weather boy over there weather boy come on. So I'm again this last weekend and I pointed him out on the TV to my wife. I said that's the guy I call the weather boy on the show. She's like okay great thanks. I need to know that information. But it's true like you. I don't know how much public because it's not just Utah Valley it's Weber State it's everybody. How much publicity you really get already so to the textures point that's true. The little amount that you're getting right now if you're not Utah BYU you're getting even less because let's be honest Utah state doesn't get very much. Air time. Yeah you know in a lot of their fans talk about that very often. Yeah.

41:46So I don't know if it'll change that much I think those you're right that there will be even less. But I don't know if it's enough to move the needle you know what I'm saying yeah. It's just so little already in those fan bases me being part of one are so frustrated with the lack of coverage anyway. How what does that mean for local universities or a major league baseball team in terms of where that money is going to be spent Jordan being. I don't know will they lean towards major league baseball will they lean towards local colleges that they have no ties to. That's the thing is they're going to go major league baseball okay and that's the other part of this to is because homeboy for that ran the private equity from from New York that moves here is a New York Yankees fan he's not a BYU football fan and I hate it break it to you. Yeah they don't and and that's the thing is the previous text message talking about where the college football the football programs won't suffer so much. I don't know I'm telling you the football program a big 12 match up between Utah and Iowa state is not getting the same amount of eyeballs that

43:48it or I don't even know if it's eyeballs or prestige that that occurs when show Hey O'Connor comes to Utah for a three game series. Well that's also true remember these corporate sponsors a lot of times don't get TV time in big 12 they're not a big 12 corporate sponsor. So not getting TV time when Iowa state and BYU meet up on the great iron that's in stadium time yeah that's 60,000 people in a stadium down in probably major league baseball little bit different here. You have a local TV broadcast that those corporate sponsorships that pay money to be on the local TV broadcast absolutely are getting on their TV broadcast national TV broadcast on ESPN no corporate sponsorship money over there. Local TV broadcast on MLB TV whatever the station is going to be the home of the new Salt Lake bees is going to have a regional broadcast that will absolutely have their corporate sponsorship dollars on when Aaron's judge when Aaron judge comes to town that's a big difference to Jordan it is and oh and by the way Utah plays six home games

45:04in front of 50,000 fans the new baseball team is going to play 81 81 home games in front of 40,000 fans that's think about that how much more exposure I know a lot of those are repeat customers but how much exposure that is and then consider media wise just radio and TV like you said how much content and how much time there is to fill how many advertisements you know it's an incredible amount of inventory yeah compare to football and by the way just one little use case here I do want to tell you the effectiveness of that marketing is still outrageous because I'm going to Pittsburgh the upcoming weekend right I'm going to go next week to the pirates brewers series at PNC Park I listen to the pirates games all season long yeah there number one sponsor is a pregame party over at this restaurant it's a tavern right across the street where they do steak on a stone guess where Bryce Larson is going to be for the pre game for the pirates and brewers series over there in Pittsburgh yeah I'm going to go eat a steak on the stone because I've heard about it on the radio all freaking season long yeah and they say how good it is I'm going to go try it out for myself guess what it worked yeah

46:27to go get me a steak on the stone at the pirates tavern across the street from the pirate store next Tuesday I let you know how it tastes it's so true it's pretty amazing when you consider baseball any other sport but especially compared to like football but any other sport if like you said I listen to every Giants game and watch every Giants game I hear the same promos and I hear the same promos every day for six or seven seven months and the and if you if you like the people who are broadcasting those games it's like a custom a radio show it's why people like like sponsoring in radio shows is like you end up wanting like I grew up listening to a when there's a pitching change thinks speedy oil change in tune up your oil change and tune up experts like if I yeah I'm going to speedy I hear that over and over and over again it's it's Ray Lee's a knob hill in the in the post game I you have this whether you want to or not that is ingrained in your brain you cannot but like that is invaluable if you're if you're a if you're a marketing or a corporate sponsor yeah and that's major league baseball because they do it a lot and they do it every single day exactly it's great frequency for a lot of different
