A.J. Brown Injured, Drake Maye Throws 3 INTs As Pats Start 0-1

Forget I told you so you know what that was that was awesome to watch it was karma It was great to watch and look I as we start to show I want to make sure I throw this out right away I'm not ruined for injuries. I don't want AJ Brown to get hurt That's that's not with the source of my excitement came from last night But what you that was why not and it was a nightmare for the Patriots that was a nightmare for AJ Brown's debut for the Patriots And I couldn't be any happier that was awesome everything about that was great So last night plays that right it's a slow star for AJ doesn't get the ball in the first drive I think there were a couple catches early, but nothing big. Yeah Drake may miss his him early on a flea flicker Yeah, I mean Drip May was awful last night. I mean just horrendous So may miss his amount of flea flicker would have been a big touchdown that would yeah that would have put me in it That would have put me in a nice little spot. Yeah, that would have been I told you so Douglas today But they don't get it that so they score and then you know, San Donald gets hurt You're like oh wow this is gonna be it first of all done a big game and second It's gonna be a in easy Patriots win and AJ's probably gonna catch touchdown late I'm gonna have to hear all that crap tomorrow and then the opposite happens AJ goes down

2:07Here what did you feel? I was excited that the season started and you know what and I told you guys this this morning I want to walk them it's the first game right but it was It was different than the games that we saw last year at the beginning of the season It felt like it was more of a running game It felt like it was more of a ground game not granted our game the first game of the season was was kind of like that as well But then the weekend games everybody was throwing the ball all over the school yard So tonight we got another game fortunately, so maybe they're throwing the ball all over the school yard But that was the one thing that stuck out to me last night when you talk about the Romeo dives and the fact that they got AJ the the Patriots that is Automatically assumed that that was gonna be their bread. I thought they were gonna try to throw the ball Well, they tried well, I mean, but I'm talking about it at the beginning of the game It felt like they they were it was more emphasis on the run and to your point We were talking about it. It might the defensive just it might be a defensive league this year I think I think I think it's been a defensive league for a few years now. We're all realizing it I mean you think about the last few years right the Eagles to see Hawks. Yeah, the defense has been Star Wars

3:10See Hawks started again last night. They still paying them quarterbacks Well, maybe they shouldn't pay him as much because the defense is winning these games. I mean last night Look, Darnal goes out and I just think the typical feeling is all right It's early in the game Darnal does out the other team has the guy that finished second in the MVP last year They have AJ. They're probably gonna win this game Right and you know what you know what the last night was last night was one of those days You just have a big smile on your face like it's like I watched to hate the Patriots I watched to hate AJ last night and it's absolutely it played out You couldn't you couldn't have pictured like if you're in New England and you're a Patriots fan You got to feel like crap this morning your quarterback played like garbage last night May was before it's picked up. He would pick that way left on right where he left off that's he off team owns it I mean that last intercept was a joke and then the AJ Brown factor I mean he's supposed to move the needle for that team and he goes down and look This is not the same kind of injury as last year. He has had hamstring injuries last night He got his ankle rolled up totally different, but I said this the whole time we talked about trading AJ I think his body's breaking down. I don't know how much I don't know how much great football is left in the tank for AJ Brown

4:12And last night he goes out he can't come back We'll see when he does come back and how he impacts the season But that was awesome like you to me you could not have drawn up a more fun start to the season and I know The other side of the coin is see ox win Eagles could compete with them for postseason spot or a you know Maybe home feels that well, we've got a long way to go on that last night The small picture of AJ having a bad night and the Patriots having a bad night that would make you feel good It made me listen. That's karma like you wanted the big arm quarterback You wanted the better quarterback the more talented quarterback and his first game with you. He's Can I be petty for me? 7:22Well, I know Um, it was great Awesome to watch last night rich irony and that I agree with you with the the If Jalen was the quarterback You know what I noticed because people are out for blood today on the whole Drake May thing and First of all, I want everybody to drop the act with the whole we don't care about AJ the Patriots all this stuff Every one all all last night all this morning all they want to talk about is AJ Brown Drake May this and that you know What I I noticed though maybe I'm late to the party or maybe I'm a little off you tell me I Think people want Drake made a fail at this point more than they want AJ to fail Oh, I like that because I I think they don't want it may he's with me because may is way better They don't want AJ Brown to be right about Drake May But I think that a part of it though Kyle cuz this is like no a court no it absolutely is a part of it and AJ It's kind of AJ's fault. It's partially our fault right? I think a lot of us agree with AJ

8:24Drake May is collateral damage in our he absolutely is like Drake Drake May is getting dragged through the mud Drake may didn't do anything to us now He did our receiver ditched our quarterback because he wanted to go play with Drake May and now everyone is clowning Drake May and Deservedly so he was awful last night. I mean terrible pretty much picked up right where he left off and the playoff from where he was also horrendous But I don't know you you agree with me. I think people want to see Drake may fail more than they want to see AJ fail right now I think you're right on that speaking of how bad May was last night I'm gonna throw the status just how this morning only two quarterbacks in the last 30 years you have thrown Interceptions on three consecutive drives in the fourth quarter Within a three point game right so like not a blowout where you're just throwing the ball down the field because you're you know down 21 points Like we're talking about close game three consecutive drives in the fourth quarter only two quarterbacks in the last 30 years Have done that may last night Cordell Stewart not not slashed last 25 years ago was the last one. I mean that's That last one. It's like dude Jaylen wanted to do that. Jaylen, but not have done that
