About this episode

Billy Amick, the 23-year-old Mets’ new power-hitting prospect, is heating up after a rocky transition from Double-A to Triple-A. Once lighting up Binghamton with seven homers in just 12 games, he struggled early in Syracuse—striking out often and missing contact. But a recent monster game with two homers proves his raw power still shines against tougher pitching. Across both levels this season, he’s already smashed 33 homers and driven in 99 runs. Now, the focus shifts to slashing strikeouts and boosting his average. With versatility at third and first base, Amick could become a key piece—if he can refine his approach and keep swinging for the fences.
