Join this morning, Banderoo. I gotta say I'm just fired up to be here today. It's pretty cool. Pretty damn cool. Wow. I wanna make that drop. I didn't know how much it was gonna pay off. Yeah, this is if I'm being honest. Taylor. It was that's what I was gonna say something about it. It's been really nice actually that we've had that drop through this entire saga.
Yeah, it's foreshadowing. Slant through. And Jay. Years of foreshadowing. Look, lippers are bound. You know what else who feels like they're part of the pond? Clippers are bound. Who else feels like they're part of the pod? Are you insert? Yeah. Are you insert? I hope Bomber's insert. Bomber better be insert him. Sure he's insert. Yeah, probably by shelter insurance. Give him a call. What insurance when you are worth $130 billion? Well, yeah, because you get $130 billion because you're a freak about money and you don't want to lose one cent. That's how I get there. That's how I'm getting there. 405735500405478714 today. Give him a call or text. I don't know how you feel about this clipper steal. Well no.
Let her know. And then get inzurance. And then get inzurance. You know what I feel about this clipper steal. I feel like who gets to walk around for the next as really as long as they want to just be in the man. Probably. Yeah. Because he I honestly was saying it's like he should win like the Pulitzer for this. He did for this. He's winning in. Yeah, he should win. Yeah, he should win. I plug your mic in a little bit. I think it's I think there's something wrong with your microphone. Oh, oh. Oh, yeah. We actually did a podcast with Pablo for NBA Daily yesterday. I love that. But he gets to walk because those reports get on to say, oh, nothing's going to happen. I didn't find anything. They didn't find anything. Everyone trying to crap on his reporting. And he's right. He's right. He's right. He gets. He gets to start the ESPN. He. You know, yes. Getting it so wrong.
But it's just great that he gets to hand out some I told you so's. You know, it feels really good when you get to 100%. This is our watergate. It is. It is. It is. What's the biggest NBA story in? I'm not trying to guess who's back. Chase back. My back. Am I back? I'm back. He's back. It looks like you are. This is the biggest NBA story ever. It is. I mean, it is like the biggest scandal in the history of the league and the biggest punishment ever handed out in the history of the NBA. How is Kauai not suspended for a year? How is Kauai not suspended? I don't know how Kauai got away. Like he was some sort of, and that's one of my favorite things is like, Kauai, I did not know all of this is going on. Publicatory. Here's the receipts of you knowing this is going on. Your signature on the agreement. What? Tell Lipton. Kauai, his uncle, 100% knew about everything in, cooperated in all of this.
Kauai, $700,000. Maybe he got out of a suspension. Maybe he took almost like a plea within the NBA. That was just like, dude, I'll give you everything you want if I don't have to miss another, if I don't have to miss a year. Did you read his statement? No, it was robotic, I felt. Integrity and respect for this guy. Yeah, I did see this. I'm fundamental to who I am. No, they're not, Kauai. I fully accept full responsibility for lapses and judgment by people within my inner circle. That is hilarious because it's I accept full responsibility and then immediately deflects to like people in my circle. And regret the distraction the situation has caused the fans and my family. I'm just a little boy. I entered into my contract with the Clippers as... It's a caveman lawyer. Do you remember that from SNL back in the day Phil Harman? That's probably a bad reference, sorry. That's old. Yeah, that's what's way. You should watch it. It makes this feel pretty normal. As the agreements in this question and good faith fully committed to fulfilling my obligations
and with no knowledge of any intent on anyone's part to circumvent the salary count. Oh my God, that's such a lie. For 15 years, my priority has been giving everything to my family, the game and those I share the court with. Because I returned to Toronto, I am focused on what I can control. Closing this chapter and moving forward with a clean slate. He's like, Trace is not official but... Peace out Clippers. Yeah, I'm going to Toronto. Lord. I did not. He's like, he's at the end, he's like moving forward. Give me a clean slate. It really makes me... And by the way, give me a clean slate for everything. Did you think it kind of makes the Raptors a little bit more of an enemy or like, I don't know, dude, that you kind of hate? Um, I mean no. Does me? It's not there for me. I don't want them to be successful anymore. I don't think they will be. I don't want Kauai to be successful. I want him to be done. I think it's too late. I know it's not. It's hard because it's not his fault exclusively.
But the fact that it feels like, I mean, he did get fined, what, $300,000 or whatever one? You can't tell the people around you. No, don't do that. Yeah. Yeah, but he manipulated this whole entire thing to get to the Clippers. It almost felt like if you were going to tell me that you find out in three years as they continue to do work that like Kauai and his crew had a like vendetta against the Clippers and orchestrated this entire thing. Hey, we want you to trade for Paul George. We're going to have to give up a two time MVP and NBA champion. Also we're going to ask for more. If you would have told me that all of this was orchestrated in order to torpedo a franchise for which they hated, I would actually think that makes sense because it is so, it just for what? Third in the MPP voting. Third in the MPP voting. Nothing for them. Here's the thing. The uncle nephew relationship is unique.
It can go a lot of ways. It's sacred. There's just an unbreakable bond. It can be really positive. I have two uncles. Yeah, David and Tom. It can go really positive. It can go really positive. Positive uncle son relationship. LMFAO. Oh, yeah. LMFAO. That's a great example. Negative uncle and son relationship. DC sniper. I don't know that full story I guess. I choose to believe you. They were uncle uncle uncle and son uncle nephew. Yep. And you had that one loaded. That's a bad reference. But oh, Jay. But yeah, you know, it's going to be, when do you think the Clipper Show next beer element again? This goes into like the 2030s. Like deep into the 2030s. Yeah, it's going to be a long time because no one's going to want to go to the Clippers either. But that's not super new.
I don't think it's a franchise killing thing, but man, it is a irrelevant for seven years. I mean, they should move the team with a brand new arena. They should have been on where to Seattle. They should have moved the team to Seattle to begin with. Yeah. I need to make an argument earlier. We said that this is the biggest scandal in NBA history. I would argue that the Donald Sterling scandal that led to this was a bigger scandal. Oh, yeah, that was just so different. Yeah. It wasn't like it wasn't within the actual game. Yeah. It was so external to the game. Yeah. Like this was a circumvention of the cap, a violation of CB. Like it was actually like that was more like the other one. Yeah. And it was like, you know, when you were in the NBA, the referee that came out saying that, yeah, so much of the games like that would be one. I think that what's funny is it's covering up this huge one where NBA coach and players got
busted. But that's external to the game where they did the poker ring and they were betting. Yeah. There's also been a lot. It's not a really. It's not the cleanest NBA hero. I've been in great 10 years as far as the scandals go for them. Yeah. Yeah, which is, which is good that Adam Silver stepped up and was in the NBA. He stepped up and gave them this big of a punishment. You know, because I mean, everyone was worried that he was just not going to punish them. Yeah. ESPN reported that nothing happened. So funny. Dude, I mean, that is crazy. This is my, and I'm not trying to pick on anybody in particular. But the funny thing to me is then this morning I get up and I get on the ESPN app and, you know, who's at the top of the ESPN reporting on the LA Clippers? It better not be. Ramona Shelburn. No. Yes. 100%. I'm not trying to bag on her. Fine, whatever. But it's like, you, hey, once you sit this one out, she was on national television a year ago. Yep. Interviewing him with Steve Bulmer, like trying to, I mean, in it. It's because they're in the pocket of the Clippers.
Yes. That's about it. That's Bulmer specifically. But that's crazy that the Clippers should be like, yeah, they didn't find anything. And they just run to ESPN and be like, hey, we're not checking this. Let me be, let me be clear about something just in case. It's crazy. It's crazy. I would be very willing to turn this into a pro-Clippers pro-Bulmer podcast for a portion of what he was buying. We can be bought off. Yeah. Like for this. Fine. Hey, we're going to row J's trying to sell us off. I'm just saying, for millions of dollars, we will support the Clippers. Yeah. Are you guys okay? This is not, I don't feel like there's a moral high ground. No, no, no, no. I'm saying like, financially. Are you guys okay? No. But you can always have more. Trying to pimp out our pod. But we need more. Like if, if, pimp your pod, I don't know what you're paying ESPN, bomber, but hologratists. Our fans will, please don't, still not listen to us about any of this. You think, you think that Steve bomber is paying reporters.
I don't think that's right. I think that, I think the reporting game in that realm is so dependent on relationships that people manipulate that in both directions in order to get what you want. Yeah. I don't think that the Clippers and bomber were talking to the athletic too. What do you know? I mean, they said we're talking to so many people. Andrew? Telling so many people. Andrew? That things weren't going to happen to them. Oh, and ESPN was the only one that decided to report it as if it were fact. That's crazy. It's, it's just, I have so much respect for a politician and what he's done with this. Like it's like. Yeah. Great. It's like, it's like journalism, you know, which we just don't, which just don't see like. It's funny, even as you said that, I was like, yeah, I mean, what, and I'm like, yeah, you're right. That's not really something people do. They don't really some people do anymore. It's like, like, like getting this thing, picking at it, for picking around all the edges
and every string until it like all unravels. And then not letting go of it. Yeah. And then sticking with it, like this and and all these people are trying to like discredit him. Like tear down it's like, no, it's actually not this. And it just, it takes a lot of guts to do that, you know, because like, because I'm sure I have them. Dang it. And have it. Do you have it? I was like, do you got it? And it's, but it just shows like, you got it. Got it. Let's take it to Mo. And it, uh, yeah, I just really, you know, I think that takes a lot of guts to do. You know that I'm sure the Clippers had lawyers. If you got lawyers that were like wanting to, oh, threatening to do stuff. I mean, he, he went after the, the richest owner in professional sports. Yes. And guess who can throw a lot of lawyers at you and make your life, uh, pretty miserable that person. Yeah. Yeah. And so, you know, it just, well, every, every NBA fan should be thanking Pablo today,
because if you love the NBA at all, Pablo is trying to protect the NBA. Yeah. Because if this went under the radar, everyone does it. They know not everybody, just the wealthiest owners, which all of them are wealthy, but there's, Bomber is the wealthiest owner in all of sports. Yeah. Yeah. If they completely got away with this and no one found out about it, one, they were going to do it again. The Clippers were going to do it again. The Clippers were going to get the next star, right? Whoever it is, that is like willing to do stuff like this. They were going to do it again. This was them doing it again, actually. I'll go ahead and unpack that point. Yeah, I was going to say what they already did it with Deandre Jordan and got caught and got in trouble and then they're like, eh, I have to be free because it's previous ownerships. So, no, that was Bomber. Yeah, those like Bomber's like first thing. When he lost himself in the house and Cuban was back in there. Yeah, you're right. He was going to continue to do stuff like this to gain the Clippers a better basketball
team and Paulo stopped that. The NBA may never be the most pure entity on the planet, but as a sport, you want it to be as close to that as possible. And the only way to do that is through like true reporting and journalism to keep everybody in line with the rules. And Paulo did that and shout out to Paulo. He deserves a ton of praise and he's incredibly humble and incredibly kind. I do encourage you guys to go listen to the episode that we recorded yesterday. We dropped this morning. But we did like a Q&A where we got questions from people on Twitter for Paulo about some about like his process and stuff like that, which I think was really cool. So a lot of fun like buying the scene stuff. Has he talked about whether he's had whether he had like lawyers review the stuff that he was about to do?
Oh, yeah. He has like a bit. He has a pretty good team. I was going to imagine he would have to. Because you can't you cannot make these accusations and be wrong. You couldn't make one. He couldn't make one little slip up because as soon as he slipped one time, they were going to be all over him and discredit every day. And you know they were ready. Like listening and interpreting every way is like what that could be. This is the power of the free press. It'd be crazy. Yeah. I'm kind of not joking. I mean, this is the power of free press. And it doesn't really matter how it kind of shows. You can take down the most powerful people. You can stop the most powerful people if you do it right. It's encouraging to know that like some of the richest people on the planet can still be held accountable. Yes. Like honestly, like that is encouraging to know. And especially in pro sports like this, I mean, it is great. And I'm so intrigued to see like what happens to the Clippers. We did have a Twitter question about whether the if there's like any way the Thunder
could not get a lottery pick this year from the Clippers. Let me see if I can find that. At ThunderUp ATL, is there any chance we don't get a lottery pick out of the Clippers this year? It's a it's a good question. The Clippers are clearly not going to be good this year. But could they fight for a play in spot and win the play in? I think it's possible. I think we could like go through and and look at teams that we think could be worse than the Clippers. Certainly the jazz or jump the Clippers. Lord's Frank looks terrible. Yeah. It probably is easier to go. Who's worse? Kings are worse. Kings are worse. Kings are worse. Pelicans. Pelicans could be worse. How are the sons doing? The sons will be better. The sons will be better. What about the gris? The grislies I think will be worse. I think that's it probably.
What about Portland? Because then like, Portland would be better. Then like, Mavericks. Clippers will be, I mean, sorry, Mavericks, I think will be better. If that's the case, if it's really just New Orleans, Sacramento, if that's the case, one of the things they will get a lottery pick. And it will be in one of a lottery that is going to be so weird to everybody. Right. Because of the way they've shifted all the odds. But the, and the other thing I think that really can differentiate the way the Clippers respond to this versus the way that they respond to the Donald Sterling stuff is the fact of like Chris Paul was on the team. Doc Rivers was our coach. Like, all the Tyler would be equivalent, I think in a lot of ways, but there was like a level of leadership that helped them say, hey, we can still play basketball and let all of the other mass work itself out outside of us. But they just don't mean what's it? You don't really have that. What was the TV show about about the Clippers that was just this past year two?
Do you know what I'm talking about? Yeah. What was it called? I don't know. It was one of those effects was making it. Yeah. Clips. Clips. Clips. Clips. Clips season two. This is it. It's just so it's just a while to think how disastrous the quiet George like nucleus trade and getting them there turned out to be for them. They won three playoff series and for that for three for that that they gave up 10 draft picks and everything. Everything. I mean, that's crazy. And that's a little gallery. Yes. That is the worst like trade slash like signing of all time without a question. I mean, it directly led to a championship. How did that not for them? How does a Lawrence Frank not get fired?
Like because here's the deal. The bomber sign off on it. Of course. Did he maybe orchestrate it? Sure. I don't know. I mean, I'm like the fact that it had such poor return. Like Lawrence Frank should have been fired four years ago. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, but also he became the thing is you can't fire the guy who knows where all the skeletons are. Yeah. Yeah, you could. And like bomber got to involved. He also has a car wreck on the way out. Yeah, exactly. Car wreck. That happens a lot. People use car wrecks a lot. To cover up their tracks. But also bomber got too involved to create to make someone escape. Like he's too much of a freak like this power freak. That's all I can say. He got too involved. So you can't he can't even say like I had no idea that Lawrence Frank was doing that. I had no idea that. Instead it was like, Hey Lawrence, we know that we're I mean, a lot of people were saying
at the time when they gave Lawrence Frank that extension was like something something's about to happen. Oh, yeah. Like they're floating him this money. So here's maybe what I'm trying to say is not even in the sense of like this scapegoat side of it. I understand that that would be more challenging when you're the one that's also guilty. What I'm saying is like you had an unending level of resources available to you to make a team that could win. Because hey, how many other players out there could they have circumvented the cap forward and to get them on the roster? And listen, if you're a clippers fan, if they didn't do all of this, they might still just have shake ill just Alexander. Yeah, that's the thing. Yeah, that's the thing. Yeah, that's the thing. Yeah, that's the better if they don't do anything. Yeah, which they haven't draft. I mean, you know, it's like you still got to put a roster together around a guy like that and you do. You do. But the guy's the two time MVP. He's he's done more than both. Yeah, I just trying to say, I don't know if he, I don't know if his ceiling is what it is.
It'd be stayed with the clippers. And even if it wasn't though, if you're a clippers fan, wouldn't you still rather have that? Sure. Then all of this. I think a lot of clippers, I think actual like clippers fans will just be grateful. Like they'll suck. They'll be awful for probably a decade. But they're used to that number one. Like if you're a clippers fan before Lob City or whatever they called it, it's you were used to them being trash. You're talking directly to Billy Crystal now. Yeah. And so the fact that you can watch this team and only to Billy Crystal. Only the fact that you can watch this team and like, hey, they're not going to be great, but they're going to play hard and they're going to because you've Dearest Garland, you've got now maybe brain and ingram. Grady Dick. I want to talk to I want to keep the vlog there. I don't do you still have. I mean, is Derek Jones like I saw somebody on Twitter yesterday. I don't know who it was, but it's like if you were the thunder, would you throw like a toe pitch? No. In some sort of future assets for a Ruby Hatchamara or any assets.
Oh, why are we giving the clippers assets? I want to talk directly to Billy Crystal right now, come and be an Oklahoma City Thunder fan for the next 10 years. Yeah. If you're a clippers fan, why would you stay a clippers fan? Come on. Because let me make the case for a clipper for true clippers fans. Okay. Okay. If you're a true clippers fan, the one we're talking about the Billy Crystal, the clipper Dan or Darrell or whatever, whose name is Darrell Dan? Clipper Dan. Clipper Dan. Lieutenant Dan. The purest form of basketball to you is the clippers sucking. So now you're back to your roots. Now you're back to what it's all about to be a clippers fan, which is we suck. What's the future? We're the laughing stock of the league. We're the laughing stock of the league, but we have a nice arena now and we're back. We're back, baby. No, you should just be a thunder fan. Yeah. By, you know, by us, you know, peace property out here.
Come and see some games. No, don't. We have enough Californians. Californians don't come out here and buy houses with cash, because it's ruining our chances of buying houses. Come Aaron, be and be. The whole, the whole housey march. Come Arabian B. Is that better? Yeah. Arabian B is better, I guess. Come Aaron, be Arabian B our property. You can only rent houses for us. So surely, Stan Taylor, surely the various Garland James Harden trade knew this was coming. Like substituting a almost 40 year old, it feels like point guard for a mid 20s point guard. But if you hear what they're talking about, what they're telling ESPN, they didn't think they think they were going to get away with it. They're telling, they're nothing's going to happen. They didn't find anything. I don't think they really thought that. I think that's the narrative they're trying to create. I don't know. Right? But why create the narrative if you didn't believe it could work? I don't know. Yeah, like you're creating an error, so you can get away with it.
So it's like, nothing's going to happen. Maybe this so, maybe this so doubt on the actual, like so, because the thing is, the clippers came out with a, a groggess of statement on the other side of this. They did. But you're right. Like they did behave like a team that knew that this was all going to become a person. Like they got way younger. Yeah, I mean they traded Zubats, they traded James Harden. I mean, they got a lot worse, you know, for what reason? Probably because they knew that they don't have to get screwed. Well, if you're going to sustain for five years, you're going to have to get young guys. So. So lucked out. The first time I actually felt like the lottery was not rigged is when the clippers got up there. Yeah. And I wonder now, like my guess is that this co-I tried to get, have some revisions to it. Like if you're a team that's trading with the clippers, yeah, why would you, yeah, like they're screwed. Like what do you, like, yeah, they have no leverage.
Yeah, right. So yeah, we'll give you one of those picks now. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. You know, I mean, I just think that I think they've known for a while. And I think that they, they certainly behave like a team. I mean, you give the extension, Lord's Frank. You trade James Harden. You trade Zubats. Like you, you're behaving like a team that is like bracing for something. Yeah. And my whole point was they just, they got, I mean, what's the difference in Harden and Garland's age? A lot. 12 years. It might as well be 50. So it's like just to be able to say, hey, we're going to have Deris Garland under contract. The whole duration of this pick, this whole terrible season, which, he's not, Deris Garland is not good. And that's great. He's not great. He's good. Yeah, he's good. But it's not one of these things where it's like, it just makes it to where they're going to be watchable. And maybe even a little bit frisky. Ooh. You can't make up a new damage.
They could even sneak up and do damage. I don't think they can sneak up. And I don't think Garland is good enough to let them sneak up and do damage to support them and sneaking up and doing the damage. Yeah. That's how they sneak up. And the damage is done. Yeah. I don't think so either. Because you'd never, that's the thing you can't see sneaking up and do a damage coming. You know who they need is, they need to be like, we will be the team that will sign Inus Cantor. There we go. They need to be the team that will sign Royce White as well. Let's sink lower. Yeah. Let's just, if they're going to do that, can they please do it for this season? They're like, let's do the political thing where we just go full evil. Yeah. They implant, they implant explosives and all of their players necks in Is Cantor Royce White. So if you play bad, we explode your head. True suicide squad style. Maybe that, maybe that should have been part of the punishment from the league. At the very last line of the punishment is, and you have to sign Inus Cantor, go
five more shots. You're tied. You know what's crazy? The two landmark decisions and scandals that Adam Silver has been involved in that are like creating, they are like his legacy are both clippers. Our clippers, you know what? And you know what? He did good on both. He did good on both? And he's saying thank you, clippers. He is, his reputation has changed a little bit. It rode on this in a big way. Like, because it was like, if he doesn't do anything, he's toast, you know? Like it takes away, you know, it hurts him in a little big way. Oh yeah. It is a big deal. And that's because Pablo would not stop. In Pablo kept pushing and pushing and pushing and letting it go deeper and deeper and telling everyone what it was was not trading secrets away or trading information for his own personal gain. And that almost forced, even if the NBA was like, can we kick the can down the road?
Like can we please just sweep this under the rug? He made it impossible for them to do it. It's true. He kept the pressure. That's for sure. It's true. The first sentence of the walk to a looked in summary, executive summary is mentions Pablo Yes. The very first sentence of the entire report. It's awesome. It's awesome. Okay. I have, I have no game. Oh, I want to play it. He just called, who's that guy? Okay. So to play this game, I need you guys to stand up and be around Jay's microphones because I'm going to put a, I'm going to put a picture on the screen here. You guys need to be on that side so everyone can see you. Let's move. Okay. Can you move a chair out? Okay. Yeah. Just. There we go. And then we can all, yeah, you guys gather around. And so you'll have to look at the screen. I'm going to, I'm going to put a picture, put it down there, put it down.
This is big. Okay. Go down. This is big. We're going to have to just duck in. You can't be, you can't be. I know. But I'm doing this for the camera, Luke. Yeah. There we go. You guys are going to have to, yeah, you're going to have to see a three part. Yeah. It's okay. You could try. I love my baby. Okay. All right. It's a little grateful that was the one you went. Okay. You guys, you guys got to get into the shot. Here we go. Jay, you could probably sit in that chair. Yeah. No, I can't be the one sitting. I'm taking a knee. You could be. You could be. Okay. Here we go. So you also need to be able to see my computer screen. Oh, we have to be able to, I thought we couldn't be able to see it. You have to see it. Okay. We have to see it. So I'm going to show you a picture of a former Thunder player from their college days. The first person to say who it is. I have a question. If we have to see your screen, why did we all move over here? Because it's going to take up part of the screen and I still want people to see you on the YouTube. Oh.
On the YouTube. Okay. You have to lower that too because your face is completely blocked. Why did it? I did it because I thought we were all standing up. Yeah, yeah. There we go. I'll dip in. Okay. All right. Here we go. Can you go see the screen? I can. Loose. I can't prove. Okay. All right. Here we go. That does make no sense for me not to just say. Yes. You should definitely say. And then y'all can just squeeze over. Yeah. That's better. That's better. Okay. Here we go. Oh, yeah. Okay. Actually, that's great. This is much better. This is much better now. Thank you. We'll see you later. Number one. Who is that guy? That's Mitch McGarry. That's Mitch McGarry. Jay's got one point. Can you go full screen on this? I need your whole. We need your whole whole. Yeah. There we go. We need your whole. The whole. The whole. The whole. The whole. The whole app. Okay. Just keep saying it. You've got to stop saying it.
Got to stop saying it. I did some verbal. Verbal workout this morning on the way here. Just to announce you had a little bit of that. That's good. We need your whole. We need your whole. From the moment I left my house. Goodness. Okay. Here's player. You're seeing him on your way. Player number two. Who's that guy? Is that an old player? This is a, this is an old Thunder player. Steve Novak. Steve Novak. Very good. Jay's number one. Jay, great work. Somebody's gonna have to step up. Here we go. Number three. Want to turn challenges into chances? Go digital enterprise. The hint is this.
X box. Oh my god. Deandre Liggins. Deandre Liggins. J3 to 0 to 0. Here we go. Some of these are easier. Some of these are easier. So be ready. Who's that guy? That's my thick daddy Raymond Felden. I'm getting a lot of things. I'm being honest. It's hard to see their face from here. But we can keep going, keep going, keep going. Okay, next one. That's Kevin Martin. That's Kevin Martin. J is just winning the whole thing. It's probably because I have the best view. next one. Who's that guy? Smash the shelf air. No. No. Is that Ish Smith? No. It's not Ish Smith. Who's that guy?
I'm going to I have to stop guessing because this is me not being able to see their faces becoming dangerous. Oh, uh, they call on, uh, they call on cook. Yeah, stay one cook. Very good. Very good. He played with Mike Conley and uh, Greg Odin for a house date back in the day. Wow. Played with them. Did I say for them? Grace shooter. Grace shooter. Okay. Next one. Be quick. Oh, it's Nanette Christich. Yeah. Look at him with hair. Look at that young man. Who's that happy guy? Now the game is called can anyone get a point but Jay? Who's that guy? That's a three man weaver. Yeah, it's Ky Weaver. Jay. Okay. Taylor. Washington State. That's right. Okay. Next one. That's PJ. Perry Jones. Third. Perry Jones. Third. This is this is terrible.
Okay. Next one. We need a bigger screen next time. Daniel Odin. Yeah, Daniel. We're proud of it. Proud of it. Proud of it. Again, that's right. Next one. Chris Wilcox. Chris Wilcox and last one. Tied Jerome. Tied Jerome. That was called Jay. Clean sweep. That's a clean sweep from Jay. Wow. Okay. Well, where is that? Where was that one in the old Al Baby Cakes trivia? We'll be right back after this quick break. What we all re-wrapped. Thank you. Like I said, part of this. That was not good for me. Oh. Hey, welcome back. Hey, we're back. We're back after that quick break. Before we get to TQs, because I've got to go help a couple of my kids get ready for school.
I do want to just thank everybody for just supporting Amy. And I'm praying for her. She got her biopsy results back yesterday. And they were very good. There was no. That's awesome. Cancer to be seen in the biopsy. So like we're getting like steps and steps closer to kind of like figuring out what's going on with her. And like steps closer to being cancer free completely. So just want to just thank everybody for just the support and the prayers and the love that you guys are giving us. So thank you. It's awesome. Thank you, Dunkers, you guys are the best. Okay. Time for some twin questions. twin questions. Got my right questions. And you have good, good, good. Now we answer them for you. This is a good question.
I want to step down to it. Hey guys, let's ask a Twitter question and answer a Twitter question. The first Twitter question is from Atmullerjack. And the question is what is the funniest way for the NBA to use $30,000,000? Hmm. The funniest way to use $30,700. In my mind, it's the only way to do it is to do something or purchase something that would directly hurt Steve Balmer's bottom line. How about like buying stock to Mac? Oh, oh, oh, okay. Some way to where Microsoft stops making gobs and gobs of money, which is impossible. But $30 million I'm going to do that. I'm just saying that amount of money that plants a whole lot of trees.
That does plant a whole lot of trees. That would be really funny. That's a funny way to do it. Plant trees. Typically when they receive fines in the NBA, I maybe I just misremember this, but I feel like they used to always have charities of choice that they would. I think you're right. Day towards. I think you're right. I have not heard about that in a while, but I do remember that too. So then, yeah, maybe they would use it for goodwill and they would do it in a way that is just a little bit of embarrassing. Yeah. I think they need to do that. Buying $30 million worth of trees. It'll be great. It's great. That's a forest. That is a forest. It's a forest. That's a nice little forest. That's a little forest you get there. All right. Let's go. The $30 million is like the least problematic part of the entire. Out of all the things that people are going to feel, feel, I think, Kauai. I mean, $700,000 for a play. I mean, I know it's, he's a, you know, millionaire, 100 times over.
But nonetheless, I do think that $700,000 is going to be a little painful for him. The five draft picks are obviously devastating. A year where all of them are suspended and can't be in. But the $30 million, I mean, I did the quick math whenever it all came out. It's like, literally, if you got fine, 10 to $20. No. Yeah. Well, how much money did you think I make? I'm not doing that. But his net worth, if you took it down, so if you're making $100,000, it's $20, $20. If you're making $50,000, it's 10. All right. How much did each of you make last year? That's the same level. The four taxes on three. Okay. I want to. Okay. Here, our next question comes from at Zach Digg who wants to know what's the best sandwich? I'm always getting some form of an Italian sandwich. If I'm going to a sandwich spot, it's probably some whatever their Italian sandwich is. There's a new Chiba Hut in Edmond now. Oh, they opened one up in Edmond. Did you think the money? That place is good, man.
I haven't been there yet. For good things. It's really good. I like a club. I like a club. Well, you, okay, if you're going to Jersey, Mike's what do you get? Nothing. I don't eat Jersey, Mike's okay. I've had last few times I was there. I ate their filly. Their filly's good. So good. She's staying for like $20. I'm like, I know it's crazy how expensive Jersey Mike says. No. I'm getting a filly or an Italian, but an Italian is usually a safe bet wherever you go. Even at subway. I have kind of like this internal, like I will not buy a sandwich with deli meat out unless it's a club because I'm like, why would I, I can get deli meat and make sandwich in my house? Yeah. Because regularly on my own, why would I, have you, do you make sandwiches at the level of a sandwich place though? I mean, no, but it doesn't really, that doesn't differentiate it. Like I also don't eat steaks out anymore because I can make a really good steak at home.
What do you have been disappointed enough at? What do you eat when you go to stuff that I'm not going to make at home? Like tonight. Today is my wife and I is 15th anniversary. Amen. Happy meal, my burper bee. We're going, we're going to Mott. Oh. There's a bunch of things they do that I can't do as well. Oh, Mott, they're burger, phenomenal, their Caesar salad, phenomenal, their steaks actually are elite. They're seafood pancake. Can't make that. Not going to do that. Ooh, you're going to get a clay powder? Seafood tower? No, I don't, we're not, I would not need any seafood direction. Really? They're oysters. Everything they do is killer though. They're bread to start. Fantastic. We're going to my wife and I. Mimi Wabas. Mimi Wabas. Anniversary is coming up as well in this Saturday. We're going to Sedalias. Oh yeah. Never been there before but that looks amazing. I've also heard great things about the La Pat Asian. Oh, La Pat Asian. Which is down there in the old Cafe de Brazil if you've been in Oklahoma. Cafe de Brazil was so good though.
It makes me mad and there's a part of me that's like, I'm not going to go there. I don't want to go to La Parisian. They also have the new, it's the people that own all the summer moons in Oklahoma City have opened up a coffee shop. Oh, what's it called? It's the Old Browns Baker. Which is also hard because the Browns Baker, listen, I love nostalgia, I love all of those things but I'm like, last few times I was in there, I was like, this is, yeah, it was all reputation. It was all reputation. Although their applesauce donuts were the best donut I've ever had in my life actually. Wow. For real. But anyway. That's high praise. That's all it's done. That's open as well. Which is really good. Amplisauce donut, huh? Yeah, they're Parker House rolls are so good. They're all meat, pasta house rolls. They're called the Korean fried chicken from the Vietnam. If you go get the Korean fried chicken. That is my number one thing there. KFC. Get it. Do it. Then of course they're Caesar's ridiculous. Their Caesar salad is good. They little spicy. Sometimes if you go, they can make it too spicy.
But if it's not too spicy, it's very good. But they're steaks. Even like they're simple ones like the wagyu denver steak is fantastic. Yeah, I'm told it's great. They're opening up like they're expanding it I think or making like a like a hundred seats more like next door for like events. Oh, that's cool. Yeah. I will say this. Oh, like Tanta Ties time. If you do go. Tanta Ties time. If you do go, don't listen. You're going to think, man, I'm going to get the BBM Bob or whatever it is. How is that? I just have to give you bad advice. Don't get that. It is. It's fine. But like out of all of the menu options there, it's going to be the one that's the least blow you away. Okay. It's true. It's not going to blow you. Birdies. Birdies, which is also owned by Kevin Lee. Yeah. Which is over. They're actually moving locations over here to Memorial. And I heard they changed their menu to be a little bit like a little different like raised the bar a little bit. Yeah. But you can get their boombop there. Bum, bbop, bbop, bbop, bbop.
All right. What other TQs? What other TQs you got for me? All right. Next to the question. Let's see. It comes from at Shaqster Bay. It wants to know. Would you rather vacation in the big Shaqster Bay? Would you slam? Would you rather vacation in Japan or Italy? Oh, man. I've been Italy when I was a child. Oh, yeah. It's a great question. Japan. I'd love to go to Japan. I just haven't been there. I haven't been to that part of the world. The Pacific Rim, if you will. Yes. I have been to the Pacific Rim, but not North side. Oh, yeah. You lived in New Zealand for a summer. But that's very far away from Japan. For sure. I would probably say for my list right now, Italy is top. Yeah. Like between those two. Italy's high on my list. Even if you're going to, I really want to go to England. I'm trying to make that happen next year. Oh, I'm going to England.
I'm going to England in two or three weeks. That's awesome. Well, it's just for just a day and then I'm going to Germany. Oh, two or three weeks in London, Germany. What are you going to Germany for? October Fest. Are you for real? Yeah. That's so awesome by yourself. We know with French and French. That's so fun. That's gonna be great. Yeah, that's gonna be amazing. That's a bucket list for me. I'm renting leaderhosen. You can rent them? You can rent leaderhosen. Yes. Wow. And they bring it to my hotel and I get to wear someone else's pants. Yeah, that's a hell of a shame there. I would assume. I get to wear someone else's pants all day. That's so cool. It's gonna be great. So yeah, we're supposed to go. We're trying to go to England next summer and do a tour there of the church anyway. That's a whole thing. So that's really high on my list. And there's part of me in my, and this is, Italy, you've been to Europe enough where I'm like, live there. We've talked about extending our trip. And the initial that was like, we could go across the channel, go to Paris, go to Omaha
Beach. I love history. So like, going to see some of those historical sites, go to Paris and then like, we could actually even take some trains and go to like Belgium and go to England and all that. Or the other option for me is I'm like, do I just go up to Scotland and go over to Ireland and like, do I do kind of a whales? If it's your first time to Europe, I would stay mainland and just go like, take the train and go through all those different countries up there. Yeah. The northeast of France. I think just because it's like so different, like every time you get off at a different stop, it's four probably different countries at one time. Yeah, like three days. Yeah. And it's hard. A lot of people were like, dude, you're gonna be in Paris for four days. I think it depends on what you've heard too. Yeah. It's like, it's a huge city now. You know, if you go to France, you should go somewhere like Florence or like one of the smaller spots in France would be better.
In my, if I had to choose between these two, I would pick Japan. Yeah. Japan would be cool. Japan would be cool. I'd love to go to Japan. I'd friends that just went to Japan earlier this year. I got friends that are going to Japan all the time. It seems like someone's always in Japan. It's great. Natalie lived there for like three weeks. And then like four, oh gosh, 20 years ago now. Dang. Yeah, that's cool. She had some friends she made in college that she went visit. Cool. Very cool. Cool. So my answer is Japan. Mine's still Italy, but also McKelle. We can go see. Oh, go see McKelle. That'd be fun. That'd be fun. I'm going to go see Japan. Guessing is for game shows, not your business. Actually, I go to Italy. I just like to say Japan. I would say Japan in Italy. Japan! Are you mafton? Are you maft? Mift! Mift! Mift and peed! I will. You guys, Mr. Pied. I said the end stream. Am I maft? Am I mafton? Is it all I have to do? Ah, no, I'm not mafton peed. I'm good. I'm nothing. You're nothing at all. I'm nothing and I'm no emotion. I'm nothing and no emotion. I was mafton peed. Why was I mafton peed in this episode? And I was like, I need your remember to bring that up. Let me try to remember, Jay. Something I said. I said, probably. When I said you look like you work at UPS? No. I mean, I am. I mean, that's a compliment. You know, if this would look good with matching brown shorts. Yeah. And like, unbuttoned a little bit like this.
Because they all do that, too. There you go. Because it's hot on the truck. Yeah. It's hot on the truck. They don't have air conditioning, and it's in. It's hot. Well, they just got no doors. But they don't have a door. So there's air flow. But it's hot air flow. Listen, I had, I went a year and a half with no AC, because I did not want to pay to get it fixed. Hot air flow is not, there's not that bad. Not refreshing. Not refreshing. Not refreshing. I did it. So I made it through the whole summer last year. Okay. And the winter. No. And I was like, okay, cool. I'm in winter. The first day that it got to 85 degrees this year, I was like, I'm not doing it again. I immediately went and I was like, I don't, whatever. I don't care. How much did it cost? It was like $900. That wasn't worth the summer. It was for me. They say no way. Well, this is just showing the, you know, disparity of rich, like you guys are rich. How much do you make before taxes? Only $300,000. One, two, three.
This is what I'm saying. Like, and you guys would not become a clippers podcast. Like, what do they call this? Yeah, I become a podcast for next week. All of a sudden we're all wearing my chains and jewelry. We're like, actually, we stay on the book. I kind of think that NBA made this all up. I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the decision. They should, they should, they should punish them at all. Actually, we should look into Pablo a little bit more. What's, what's he tied to? Let's do a little, let's do a little digging on that. Well, let's do a little digging on our own. I don't know if it's true, but somebody did say something to the effect of like next on Pablo's list is Jalen Brunson and the Knicks. Yes, yes. Well, Mark Cuban made him too curious. I think immediately he was like after that Mark Cuban interview that he did about the clippers and bomber. Yeah, it's like, yeah. And bombers like or Cubans going after him on Twitter. Immediately I bet Pablo's like, okay, a teammate.
Let's start digging on this guy. Let's start getting the next one going because something's up with this. It is a phenomenal work of journalism and just huge shout out to Paul Torey and it's a big deal. Okay. Bye. It does make you feel a little helpful. We love you guys. Thank you for listening. We'll see you on my day. Bye, bye. Or Sunday. Did I do it? Did I make sure to start the thing? It's just hours long after this. Oh, die. What the heck? Video finishes playing. Oh, okay. Are you sure? What are we going to hear? Where's the door? I'm just a giant. I'm just a giant. I'm just a giant. I'm just a giant. I'm just a giant. I'm just a giant. I'm just a giant. I'm just a giant.
