- Hypostatic Union: The eternal Son of God takes upon a human nature and now eternally exists as one person with two distinct natures, fully God and fully man,
- Peccability: Able not to sin (posse non peccare).
- Non posse non peccare: Not able not to sin.
- Posse peccare, posse non peccare: Able to sin, able not to sin
- Impeccability: Unable to sin (Non posse peccare).
- Immutability: God is unchanging.
- Nestorianism: Separates the natures of Christ.
