Cody, it was a great game. Unfortunately, I did not go our way as the cyclone's go down to the Hawkeye 16 to 13. Let's go and take a deeper look at this game as we share and take a look at the full box score. Yep. So obviously this game heading into this game, I think a lot, I don't know if it was you, but I knew a lot of Iowa state fans and I think Iowa fans too. This was one of those games where I think maybe you would have seen a change in the trend because usually in these games, it's really close and things like that,

2:28usually one score. But I'll go into this game. I think a lot of Iowa fans, I knew for sure, were saying that this might have been different. And I mean given the context of like the two teams, me, you would have had that thought of perhaps Iowa would have absolutely just ran all over. Iowa state, it would have been a blow. And I mean, the line for this game closed at about 14 and a half. So yeah, Vegas had the expectation that this game was gonna be an absolute blow in favor of the hot guys, but that didn't end up being how the game went. And I mean, I think that's a credit to the Iowa state defense, which was a strength, but also the Iowa offense for at least the first half kind of was doing what they could do. And they, I mean at one point, Iowa state had a 10 point lead in Tinnik. So you had that, but then the second half, like the first half, but the second half was where you saw the flaws of this Iowa state team. And I think that comes down to a lot of things. The number one thing I think a lot of people would point out

3:29is maybe the conservative play calling a Tyler Roll. That definitely got to criticism, but that does come down to the fact that Iowa state was like losing field position. They were getting pinned inside their own 10 towards their own end zone. And I mean, that's what side how typically is. It's field position, field goals, very like run, like physical football. And that's exactly what this game was. So I mean, my take, like, I think for this, the takeaway I had was, I think I was actually impressed with Iowa state keeping up with Iowa. And especially considering the offensive line, there is still some work to do, but I think our offensive line did a really good job at keeping Jailer and a relatively protected. I don't believe Iowa state gave up a sack in this game. Or they had one, but I think it was more because of more of it being the coverage sack. Yeah, he was open. But I'll say this. And I don't know if you agree with me,

4:30but I think, you know, for most of this game, Iowa state dominated the line of scrimmage. Like from a defensive standpoint, especially in the first effort throughout, at least until like 10 minutes left of the game, which is when they started getting tired. The Iowa state defense dictated I was, I was, I was run game. They said, or should they shut it down? This is there. This is Iowa's lowest run total, the run run game total since last year against Indiana. So I mean, Iowa state, this defense is legit. Like I was, that was one of my things on Thursday, past this past Thursday show. I was like, hey, can they, can I was different? Yeah, that team defense is free. This defense is for real, man. Like I, I knew that there were some legitimacy. I know, yes, it was, yes, it was CMO, but I just knew that defensively, that there was something going on. And Sullivan Schlimke is a dog.

5:31He might be one of my favorite players on this team right now. Yeah, yeah, I think there were some really good like, and I mean, there were even some good like TFLs that Iowa state had. And yeah, limiting Camarim Molen, who I think going into this game, I thought Camarim Molen was going to have a big day. Like if I was going to dominate, they were going to have a big day from Camarim Molen, and especially when we saw against Niu, great, Niu, but still Camarim Molen was like one of the highlights of this considered like revamped offense for Iowa. I believe it's second or third of your team Lester. And yet Hank Brown starting for Iowa, who I actually thought needed decent. He did his job. There were a couple good plays he had. And I mean, the touchdown run, and then obviously that passed Tony DS and Tony DS was as advertised for the Hawkeyes. He's brought a dynamic that I don't think Iowa's had in a while at the White receiver position. So he made the place that needed to. And I mean, kind of wax poetic that this game came down

6:32on a game when he field goal, but this time around the Iowa Hawkeyes were the benefactor. From Caden Burr, I believe it was a 40, was it 50 yard field goal that he hit at the end of the game to ice the game? Yeah, unfortunately, I figured after that one drive where my side king jumped off sides and look at it, man, it's gonna, it's gonna, it's not gonna be our day. So unfortunately, that's how the kicking crumbles sometimes. Now there was some discourse after the game and then the discord about, you know, Jalen Rainer's play. But let's talk about that real quick because I just said me, I know I said it. I talked about it on the, on the reaction. So yeah, I'm a reaction show. I said, you guys, we don't, this offense is still pretty new. I still think you're gonna need at least probably, at least four or five games in for this offense to Jill.

7:37I love her saying, oh, he's not the guy. I'm like, you guys, how do you know he's not the guy? We've never seen this offense play with each other. So like, how can you really know that for sure? Yeah. And the for Raider's performance too, I think a lot of people are gonna point, like obviously that second half. And I mean, yeah, I think Jalen Rainer may have missed a couple of, there were a couple of times I think where he was trying to look for a throw and I don't think he was able, like, he didn't use his legs as much as I thought he would in this game. And I think if he had did that more often, I think I would say would have had a better shot and maybe actually win the game. But I think part of it too is Jalen Rainer's tendency to throw picks because he has thrown a lot of picks in his career, like his three years at Arkansas State prior to the prior to coming Iowa State, I believe you through what 28 interceptions. And it doesn't help, especially when your cost is getting pinned back inside the tent, like inside your own 15, your own 10. And you know that Jalen Rainer may have a tendency to throw those picks. And obviously that kind of mistake would be the kind of a stake that would essentially kill the game for you.

8:40And like give the game to the other team. So I think Iowa State was kind of living in that regard. And also part of that too was also, there were some really bad penalties in this game. Like the first half was about as perfect of an offensive game plan as a cut of gone, as a cut of gone for Iowa State. They go up 10 nothing. They do give up 10 straight points, but that's all. But in that their quarter, you really started to see maybe some of that composure fall apart. I mean, you had a bunch of like fall start, like pre-stab penalties, you had an illegal substitution and then there was the, I think it was the, the QB sneak that we successfully had, but because of another fall start penalty, we get back to having more force to put it. And I think that's what eventually led to Iowa winning this game. But also, this is another thing that I saw too, which was kind of funny, is like, you know how like we had the whole Michigan clock controversy last week. This week there were some fans pointing out the Iowa State lost like 30 some seconds on a review. But I mean, I think technically that's the correct word.

9:41And then at the end of the game, at the end of the game, you had Iowa, like they had the whole review to determine there was one second, but due to Iowa State not having any timeouts and the NCAA ruling state, you need at least three seconds to run another play off review for the game ends right there. So and then a lot, and then there was a lot of like, even discourse with the officiating, and especially on that point sequence where you had, I think it was Matt's in trying to push the punt returner into the football and it's crazy. We're talking like like, like now we have Iowa fans calling us dirty. I don't think like I think you were like, I think I saw Jim Rogers or somebody met or the commentator mentioned that they were coach to do that, which maybe it's a little weird. Maybe it was a little excessive, but this isn't something that we have, we don't see only what Iowa State. We've seen this happen before with a bunch of other teams trying to push a player into the ball off a punt. I mean, it happened with, it's happened to us last year in the BYU game. So if you remember that with Benning Goy,

10:42he let me get pushed into the ball and then BYU recovered it. So or even happened to us. Or even in the silo game last year, if you want to reach for that, you had one of our players like it pushed into our own player from an Iowa guy and that happened and Iowa benefited. Now like, like I said, those things happen. This is a rival game and for Iowa fans to be this soft, this is like kind of like, come on. This like it is football. Like it really didn't change like too much. Like what, you still like, and all things like that. But also we come off like a whole like rivalry weekend and I was saying this do like, obviously, I don't think Sihock were ever going to reach the level hatred for the poor war as an example. And I don't think that would happen. That's not going to happen. But come on, we got to have at least a little fun in the rivals like it's, and it's just the whole back for and you know what this leads me to his conversations too. I was listening to the two guys show an Iowa ever where yesterday, I think it was like, oh, yeah, yesterday. And you had the whole thing about like the Super Bowl

11:44comment where it's like, like Chris Williams was talking about, oh, this whole Super Bowl talk is kind of stupid because college football is built off of rivalries and I believe so. I mean, yeah, we're going to like, and that's not even like, and I think to review that like kind of the his, and I do like, I think it's just, that's a fan's thing. The fans are always going to say, oh, where yet you are are this team, Super Bowl, Super Bowl, that, et cetera. That's just little jab talk. And I can see where maybe it sounds so dumb. But I mean, hey, where people are going to throw that around, the fans are always going to throw that around. And it's kind of a troll jab, but I mean, I guess congratulations to Iowa for finally winning. I mean, legitimately for the first time of five years. But hey, at the end of the day, at least we didn't pull what happened after the game here. Wap, wap, wap, wap. Yep, so that happened. And he knew what's funny too. I think I saw too. Also a good like a, no, a good friend of mine,

12:45like a, like a, poor mind, Shannon, air heart, KCC. She had a, a, a, perspective like her own POV of her falling. She would fell. So, so the side of the trophy was the only thing that fell on the field. And it's crazy how that was the only fun will that happened in the game was the trophy. So, uh, all things considered, I think I would state kind of over, like over, like exceeded expectations for this game. So I think I said this maybe to disc, like, I don't know if I said it in a group chat or something. But I think there I say the new floor for this team is going to a bowl game. Oh, for sure. Yeah, I think, I think that's what that showed. I think this game showed to me that this team is definitely a ball team. They just need to think for me offensively. I think they just need to find like a scheme that, or I think wrote, we're probably have to fit his scheme more to what Jalen Raiders, um, straight. It's Paul and America. And I do think mainly because of field position and the penalties that were called it forced him to be a little bit more conservative, which is why I think that you saw the play calling in a second half like they did because every time that they, you know, wanted to do something down feel they couldn't because they were they were getting penalties, but yeah, I think we can just leave it there and then we're on the bowling green. And go on the bowling green. We're going to move going to that last first. Let's take a look at the conference of chaos. Yep, the conference.

17:56Yeah, so yeah, in case you haven't caught on, that's a new sound by that Tyler's put for the season to represent the conference chaos, which is the big 12. And I think we got obviously started with the big story. I think that everybody's were talking about. We got to talk about Oklahoma state and it's a duality like you have the chaos, but the duality of man and it's perfectly represented with the Oklahoma state Cal boys who just the week before they go to Tulsa and Eric Morris debut and they lose 24 to 10 and the spirits are really low for the folks in still water. However, you now and then you go into this game as a 24 and a half point underdog at home against the organ ducks. And this truly was the most shocking result of the weekend and maybe of like the decade because Oklahoma state beats number six ranked organ 3931. And I mean, this image from Drew Mastemaker leaping over defender and then taking a hit into the end zone to score a

18:59touchdown. I think that's the perfect representation in or Oklahoma state breaks their 12 game losing street to FBS teams and probably the wildest fashion possible beating a top 10 ranked team in organ. And we have a comment in here from impeccable king. He said if we are having him to if we're having him to be a pacifaster, I'm overly a florist. Rainer is here for his legs and okay arm, not just arm. Yes, exactly. If you're yes, I can fully agree. Thank you for your comment impeccable king. That's exactly what I said. You got to use his strengths. But yeah, back to the Oklahoma state game. Yeah, man. It's yeah, they had over 200 yards rushing and they made Dante more struggle. 14 of 29 for 191. Yeah. This game, yeah, on it, like I think the final score kind of

20:01felt a little see because Oklahoma state, they dominated the whole game. They dominated the whole time. The stats will tell you, I believe Oklahoma state outgained organ. I think Oklahoma state had like 500 some yards to 280 for the organ ducks. And I think it just shows just how like how much like how capable this team is of doing great things. And yeah, why it young as advertised five receptions, 121 yards and a touchdown drew mester maker. Like the second Russia behind Caleb Hawkins, Caleb Hawkins, 23 carries 110 yards and a touchdown. Then drew mester maker six carries 109 yards. And I mean, that includes that 75 yard run he had at the beginning of the game, which I think set the tone for the Oklahoma state cowboys. So overall, and then I think day and lady made a said best in the post game. They just weren't like I think they just came in unprepared. And I think that's what like that's the beauty color football. You have like this top team. You're expected to actually beat the piss out of them, but you come in unprepared

21:05on, Oklahoma state. They were hungry for a win and they were obviously they were more they got humiliated by organ, Eugene at oxen 69 to three. So the fans definitely remember that. And boy did they make a statement. And I mean, like talk about that after the game where obviously you have the field rust and then something that I definitely wish could have done. But I mean, you obviously had to see the obvious throw in the goal post in the theta pond. That's where this was. So I mean, you go figure. I mean, I think if anybody deserves to celebrate us and rush the field after a win, it's Oklahoma state, unlike those overings from an Harvard would do. Which we can get to a little later. But that, but I mean, yeah, big win for Oklahoma state. And I think the big like this is something to I think some people share, but I'll say it too. The big 12 is in a better place when Oklahoma states good. It is. And I mean, we'd go and let's take a look at Oklahoma state schedule.

22:08Let's take a look at that real quick. You see they were on the road. And if we're if we're getting this, if we're getting this type of Yes, the type of performance from Oklahoma state every week. Look at the schedule. They got Murray State at West Virginia, UCF was at who the tapless against it. At Houston, Colorado. I mean, you could possibly see them going maybe going 415. I know in that stretch to set up maybe if I was state has a good season by that point, a really, really good matchup when they come to answer Halloween. Mm hmm. Yeah. But I think to this maybe leads to another conversation about Oklahoma state, you need some level consistency. Like as much as it's fun, you know, from the like Oklahoma states already experienced the highest highs and the lowest lows and calls football, but to really be successful and sustain yourself, you got to have some sort of consistency. So I got to see how Oklahoma state like does in the game gets Murray State.

23:10Do they have a little bit of a hangover from the Oregon game? They should, but we'll see. And then going to Morgan town, I think that could really shell two, just what Oklahoma state truly is worth. So I think that that works for a junior game. I'm going to circle early off for Oklahoma state. And then also maybe the trip to Houston, if Houston continues to view what they look like, that could be another game where it can prove to me how legitimate Oklahoma state is in relation to the big 12. So really got to keep an eye out for how consistent Oklahoma state is. And I think like you said, like you always say, Cody, it's the duality of man and I think I'll be king bringing in bringing a good point tonight. I think Oregon is more likely for us to know as you bring a top tennis team. And then he says, I think they need another powerful game to really prove their worth. Yeah, I'm waiting to see what else they do. I am not buying into the hype yet. I want to see what they do. We'll get to watch Virginia because this could like this is they're also still trying to adjust to the power for level. These players.

24:11So yeah, I think they need another just another game to prove their worth. And then I can I can finally get on my train. And then yeah, then the take about Oregon being frauds. I mean, they, I mean, they destroyed the school you stay and then they did drop 15 spots in the latest AP people. And I think we can go through that a little later. But I mean, Oklahoma state obviously congratulations for them for getting a huge win in. I mean, this does bits for the big 12 in terms of conference perception. And then I think another team to the like I think kind of helps the conference. We got to go talk about Utah and they're convincing win over Arkansas. Pax will in Salt Lake City 43 to 10 was the final in that game. And I mean, Utah from the jump. They were just clearly the better team and they run numbers. They just run circles all over the razor backs. Devon Danpeer had a pretty decent pretty good day 18 to 24.

25:12261 passing yards and two touchdowns. You also had Parker. Let me see. Yeah, way sound Parker with three touchdowns and 118 yards and then the need of the tight end for the use 113 yards and one touchdown. So a really good day for Utah. And I think this is a month. I think this is a needed win. This like can boost like the perception of the big 12 because that's always going to be something to in the back of your like people's mind is oh, you like if this was another like situation like what happened with Arizona state down going down a star feeling losing that game in the Mississippi state. That would be really bad. If Utah dropped this game, it would have been a really bad. But Utah, I think proof that they are like that I think they're slowly starting to get back and maybe they could prove to be like in contention to win the big 12 this year, which is something I think they had been cracking the door up, but just cannot put it together. But I think this year I think they're legitimately in like like easily in the top three of the big 12.

26:12They always happen. But I think now they're starting to creep a little closer to BYU and Texas tech and we'll get to Texas tech because they struggle. They struggle against a Oregon state, which we can talk about later. But yeah, big win for Utah. You got to win over an SEC opponent and that's always going to look good for optics. So big win for the youths and Morgan Scalies got things rolling in solid city. And the first year as head coach. Yeah, we show see how they are there rolling. They have Utah state next week. Honestly, I do think their first test is going to be when they come to Ames in a few weeks to win one conference. That's the conference over near the side clubs and the youth. So that will be interesting to see how that matchup comes up. But like you said, you know what? Let's go to that matchup in Corvallus. You see Texas A&M slightly pulling away. They man. I mean, if I were to tell you that man, I think you actually called Texas tech,

27:19Texas A&M. I think somebody in love just got offended. Oh, oh, God. Texas tech. Good Lord. Sorry. The red horse. We I won't get to A&M when we talk about Arizona state. But yeah, Texas tech and David looking shaky like in the first two games, not looking that great against. I was an Abeling Christian week one. Then this game, you had to like you were losing by three at one point in this game until you like until you pulled away. But Texas tech has been looking pretty shaky. Like in the first two weeks, I don't know where your confidence is at in terms of Texas tech. I so my confidence is already sort of shaky with like Wilhelm and as are already. I mean, you look, you had a pedestrian day, he had a hundred and eight nine yards passing. Obviously they were had a good run up the good game on the ground. But yeah, I don't know. I mean, yeah, let's let's look. Yeah.

28:21We had one touch down one. Yeah. So like he was all right. But I think one of the questions is this defense. You look at this defense, man. They gave up 240 receiving yards to the Oregon state receiver. Jesse LaGree eight catches for 240 yards and two touchdowns and quarterback. A Braden thatkinson had a day he had he went. He went 31 for 51 413 yard two touchdowns and then an interception. Oregon says it's going to be a tough out in the in the pack 12. But I mean, if you're Texas tech and you're expecting to be one of a playoff team for the big 12. I this is this sort of worries me. I mean, because now you got to you have a Houston team coming in the town that has been pretty in terms of themselves. Yeah. And that we have we got that game on Friday and they as we look at that later on.

29:26Yeah, Texas tech. They need to get it going if they really want to win the big club again. Yeah. And speaking of Houston. Yeah, they just played Oregon state of the week before this game too. So it's two of the state like you got the same common opponent. And I think Houston actually I think they did better against. I don't know is it fair to say that Houston did better against Oregon state than Texas tech did not grade it. Houston played him played Oregon state in Houston. You all text tech at the travel. But still you maybe have like some sort of reference point right there between both text tech and Houston in relation to Oregon state. I think Houston might have actually performed a little better even though it was at home. But yeah, given of 413 passing yards to Hackinson. I'm so looking starting for this defense. I think was supposed to be one of the better units in big 12 and in college football. Because that's where Texas tech. That's how they won the big 12 last year. A big part of it was that defense. So we'll see what happens on Friday. And then yeah, text tech. Yeah, last year's clumps.

30:27I mean, possibly possibly. Yeah, we'll see on Friday. But yeah, it felt yeah, I'm Texas tech. Yeah, the alarm bells are ringing and they better find a way to face it. Come Friday night against Houston because Houston is going to come in to love it. And they're going to look for the upset win. Texas tech is a seven and a half point favorite in that game. But I could easily see Houston keeping it like less than that or even winning that game. Yeah, I'm not going to lie Cody. This this big slow season seems like we thought it was going to only going to be a two team race. But it looks like there's it might be like the 24 24 season where we could probably have a three or four way tie. And that's really my need the conference of chaos. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Unfortunately, the team that won't be a part of the chaos unless they do it again in November, the Kansas J. Hawks. So they had the board of war. And I mean, you released that height video with referring to John Brown in the Civil War with Metro Boomin.

31:28And I'm thinking, if you're going to you're going to put that out, you better win this game. And they get absolutely curfews. So I'm going to put it in the first round in the second half by Missouri Austin Simmons 292 yards and three touchdowns in the air. Jamal Roberts runs all over the defense 125 yards of one touchdown. Isaiah Marshall, two touchdowns 168 yards, but two picks. Yeah, just like this Kansas, you have this was your opportunity to really did win. I mean, a huge a good win against the SEC opponent and your crap all of yourself. And yeah, Kansas is not looking good for you, especially because now you have to head out across the pond to when we stayed and take on Arizona state. And I mean, you lose a home game there. So Kansas, unfortunately, has just disappointed, just disappointed. And I mean, just when they're going to play, it's not good. Yeah, their quarter Meccale is not good at all.

32:29Mm-hmm. And I mean, this is where you maybe start. You got to start asking some questions about Lance Leipold because yeah, you yeah. I mean, Lance Leipold led you to like bowl games and modern success. But the question is, is he going to get to any more than that? Yeah, I mean, and he's done. He's done. Like he has his like, I feel like and I remember I was talking about this with my friend of the front of the show. I was like, well, we were having a conversation. I'm like, is he a coach that has done with the talent that he's had less? Like because 2024, I mean, you remember all those games at the beginning of the year where they started one in five and they ended up going. Four and two down the stretch where they've just missed out on the bowl game and had that run against BDBYU. I was the. Colorado and Colorado back to and back to back to back game just for them to lose on a bowl game. I mean, they had I think 2024 should have been the year where that really could have been the year.

33:34If they could have maybe went to a bowl game and probably you see some. Bill confidence. Yeah, building confidence and they and you think think hey, you probably had a good. I better beginning to the season that year, maybe we'd be looking different at KU, but now it's looking like, Hey, maybe he's on the hot seat and maybe get rid of him. And this is right after going in just getting into a new stadium. Mm hmm. So yeah, very disappointing outing for the J Hawks and a very disappointing not like I think actually this not like I think on it like this like this week for the big 12 kind of a mixed bag. And I would did refer to this team earlier, but we got to go down to Arizona State. A child in two Kyle field in conversation and losing 48 to 20 against Texas A&M. Now I will say Arizona State they did compete like three three quarters cutter bully had some solid moments, but a&M ultimately proves that the talent gap was just too much and they pulled away scoring 24 points in the fourth quarter.

34:41It's really pull away, but does this like change any your opinion Arizona State and maybe your opinion on cutter bully. Cutter bully is a guy. I think, you know, if you look at the first three quarters, I do think that if they can figure something out, they were pretty they they did have some stuff defensively. The first three quarters. Mm hmm. I do think that if they can if they can be consistent with this Arizona State could be a team that we could be talking about. Yeah, that could be a contender in near and no end of November. Yeah. I think, yeah, I think a big thing to those turnovers for turnovers in this game. I believe most of this happened in the fourth quarter. Is that a part of like because I wasn't able to like catch up on this. Yeah. So like all the like all the turnovers of happen in the fourth quarter was just a barrage after like everything. There was a tip ball and it was a a a thick six and like so there was really nothing that they get that that they could do.

35:41It just self-destructed in the fourth quarter and it just it was like a what when it rained at port. So like, yeah, unfortunately, there's nothing they can do in that situation. So yeah. Yep. So Texas A and M get like pulls away late. They get like a 40 to 20 win. And I mean, I mean, even with this, I think there are some things to and I mean, yeah, we're going to see Arizona State traveling. Come up like like on big I believe they're going to have big is it they're going to be the one with the big noon or no. So I knew they'll be a big noon this Saturday and from London. Mm hmm. That's not going to be the big noon game, but they will be live from London. Um, because that's going to be the big 12 game at 11 a.m. and London local time. So if you want to watch that on your on your clogged screen as you watch, I was stable in green. Then you're different to do that. But.

36:44Yeah. So, so I mean, yeah, overall, so that performance there. So I think maybe those were some of the main highlights to of like the noncon. Oh, yeah, I forgot real quick. We did actually have a big 12 conference game. The why you hosting Arizona. So this one, I thought we were going to have like this is the main highlight of like the week for the big 12, but obviously Oklahoma State changed plans. But originally this was probably the big highlight of like was supposed to be on paper. The highlight for week two of the big 12 BYU. 28 to 17 over the Arizona wall cats and bear a box. Myer. I think has added past like I think I heard somebody talk that I think maybe was Iowa everywhere where they wanted to see the next evolution of bear box. Myer because they already knew. What do you have with his legs, but with his passing that's something where you want to see him evolve. And I think he did in this game. Three touchdowns 217 passing yard 16 to 26.

37:45Pretty good day for yeah for bear box. Myer BYU L. J. Martin with 98 yards off the 20 carries. So big good day for BYU at home against Arizona gets a conference win. And I think this sets up to like BYU to maybe go back go back to the big 12 title game and maybe try to win the thing this time around. Yeah. The team. Oh yeah. This is a very good point again. Thanks for watching impeccable King says the teams that had question marks next to them seemed to outperform much for little expectations from national media. The teams that were expected to win did but just not so it's unexpected and that's a good point impeccable King mainly because like if you see the teams that were picked to be last a lot of. If you heard a lot of the talk it was definitely very very lazy lazy lazy analysis. And now allowances from national people especially from cover three especially Tom for Nelly when he said that he may have been wrong about Iowa state.

38:51When even when if you've seen a lot of Iowa state media a lot of people said that this team is not going to be as bad as you think. But a lot of national people didn't want to hear it want to hear that really go. Oh yeah. They just saw Matt Campbell left there. This is a dead program. I'll put it for him. Yeah. It's real quick. I have to find the grip like. Oh yeah. But I mean also to like I do want to pull like although this is it like it's an Iowa podcast the NF podcast those guys do a great work and I think they did some really good work and relation to the side hot game. So if you're like somebody who's willing to take it on the chin and listen to an aisle podcast the NF podcast guys. They do a really good job. So I have solid analysis. So so that that would be a good listen. So I mean yeah but back to the big 12. The why you they look to be probably the number two team. On like in the big 12. Is it really at least for what it looks like.

39:53So yeah so we can like move them. I do want to say real quick. So some other highlights that happen around the conference. Kansas State 34 seven over Washington State eight. I think outside of a pick six to Avery Johnson through this was a pretty good. This was a pretty good outing for the wild cats on the first year of coach Colin Klein. And I think if Kansas State can really clean up something like call climate because done a really good job by getting Avery Johnson back to what I think a lot of people expected. Yeah especially there would be nice to. It has final season there um to have some type of good season and you look at this you look at this. I mean you look at.

40:54They have to lay next week. I think they're going to destroy their absence and that he Houston at home and then the sunflower showdown before they have to go to ASU. There's a good chance that we could see them go undefeated and be six and out by the time they go have to go to 10. Yeah. 6 and 0 5 and 1 maybe I guess I don't know if I say maybe a loss to Houston. I have Houston continues to trend up like they have been. Yeah. But yeah. And then the back half Oklahoma state. I think Oklahoma state like they can do what they did like what to see where those two teams are. And then ending the season at Iowa State you know what I would love nothing more than for eight to ruin Kansas State season. One more time before they before we get rid of farm again in as an annual game and speak of that safe farm again and this should not even happen to first because I don't know why we're still having this whole thing farm again needs to be a protected rivalry. I think that should be the goal of the new ADS so it's to save that game.

41:56Yeah. So so Kansas State another impressive win they've looked good through their first two games us and then just real quick some other teams around the big 12 Baylor gets a 44 to three win over Prave you not much there after Baylor's heart breaking loss to Auburn they get back to the win. And then they come to go one of one TCU 63 to seven over Gramley state I mean it's it's almost it's your two points off of doing the reversal to another team that has the same local's Gramling but that is the Georgia Bulldogs. Cincinnati 62 to 10 over WCU so Cincinnati like kind of an early form Cincinnati once again let's see if they can sustain Houston 77 to 6 over Southern Colorado 52 to 21 over Weber State after that win over Georgia Tech West Virginia 52 to 7 over UT Martin and I saved UCF for last because Boyle boy AIDS looking bad another road loss for Scott Frost and company as they drop.

42:58The game to pit 12 to 7 and it looks like they're quarter back they got from Bennett or bear yeah. Yeah bear it um he'll be I was going to be out for two weeks with a strain hamstring so it is looking dire right now for UCF. Yeah Scott it ain't looking good for Scott Frost and company down it's down in Orlando so I mean that's kind of like Europe I think I was honestly yeah that's your big like the big 12 mixed bag kind of week you have some really good highs is really lows. I mean before we get to maybe like preview like previewing some things ahead the national slate there are some really there's some really fun things that happen nationally I mean start all Thursday I guess Miami doing Miami things 77 to 7 over Florida and I'm doing medsa looks to be as advertised for almost perfect passing 252 yards of three touchdowns I think Malachi Tony looks even better than he did last year which is somehow.

44:01The statement made and then Saturday some really I think there's some really big results especially the top 25 you kind of we got we got we got we got to talk about the battle for the worst team in the world. The top 25. So the record is going to take the cake. A bunch of us 28 to 21 on the road to Boston College and I think it's safe to say that they are going to be the worst team in cops above the share. And this is after they lost from convincingly at home to you mass aka you ask that some people would call it. I don't know who's more down bad right now but workers is certainly in the conversation. And I speak to Boston College this is their red band and again because this was the this like past weekend was 25th anniversary 911 and Boston College did their red band and the game in honor of well I can't have a last name of Boston College of LUM who sacrificed his life to save many other lives on that day so they did that

45:06and I think it's another like it's a great trip you want to see outside of the like game itself that's such a good like great great tradition for Boston College and I think they got to keep it up. It's good and it's good to see I think a lot of teams also had tributes to 911 attacks which is really good. That was one of those things it was one of those things where like I think a lot of people came around and you know was unified. Yeah even through this so really great tribute to Wells I don't remember the last name but I remember the lot of Jersey set for Wells. So I'll have to see that but yeah great tribute and a great win for Boston College 20 to 21 so that's kind of the front like kind of your Friday night slate and Saturday. You have anything to say about your Florida Gators. Yeah obviously you know they played in no one in Campbell but they the offense like sharp again and five last six and 21 to 42. So I think I'm so glad they won the first two games but here's how their schedule sets out Auburn and then I think you look at this.

48:25Yeah, and then for some reason there is a political discourse from political candidate because of unfortunately You know with some political statements about the way Some type of students that Texas have look I still can't believe we have people Judging on the color of people's skin. Yeah, I have Yeah, I've got the tweet here. This is from both French who's a nominee of the Republican nominee Talks about like UT graduates. I don't believe it like and it's stupid like and we're doing like this whole thing I'm gonna get on my political tangent, but if I'm mistaken I'm pretty sure the enrollment numbers for the University Texas like are still like Like it's pretty much the same from 30 years ago. I mean isn't this like the whole like thing of like Embracing every like people embracing calls football.
