What would you do if a wedding invite reopened a secret you buried over a decade ago? On this unforgettable episode of Billy The Kidd In The Morning, Billy, Candice Lopez, and Producer Pooh tackle a Dirty Little Secret that proves the past has a wild sense of humor. Today’s caller reveals a situation straight out of a rom‑com nightmare. A former college friend not a bestie, but close enough is getting married. While casually scrolling Facebook, the caller suddenly recognizes the fiancé… not from mutual friends, but from a chaotic one‑night stand era at UNT back in 2010. Multiple hookups. One apartment. A lifetime ago.

The room immediately fills with tension, humor, and disbelief:
  • Billy paints the ultimate worst‑case scenario involving wedding sidebars and dance‑floor recognition
  • Candice questions whether this friendship even requires showing up — especially when secrets are at stake
  • Producer Pooh keeps it real with his honest takes on weddings, open bars, and emotional landmines

Get it off your chest. We promise you'll feel better. Welcome to 30 little secret. All right, bring it. And a chance to see Harry Styles coming up next. Harry Ween, you want to go to New York City, trip on us. Let's make it happen. It's mix 102.9, ability to kid Candice Lopez, producer poo. And if you have a secret, 833-787-1029, just let us know. Just tell us what's going on. It's a no judgment zone. Yeah, we'd like to hear your issues. And we won't judge. We have our own issues and our own secrets. So sometimes we tell them not enough. We had to do another day like that where we tell our secrets. But then Candice never tells a good one. What do you mean? I don't tell a good one. You have no secrets. It sucks. So we want the best secrets from you. And I know poo's secrets. And he's not going to tell the good ones. Maybe we do one day where we tell each other secrets that we know. Oh, yeah. Actually, no. Never mind. Never mind. Never mind. OK, you've got a secret. What's up? So I have a secret. My college front is getting married. We're good friends. We're not best friends.

So just keep that in mind. OK, got it. So I haven't really kept up with her life on a regular basis. And I'm rarely on social media. I've just never really been big on social media. And after she got engaged, I happened to be on Facebook. And my stomach just dropped. I totally recognized her fiance. And not in a mutual friends on Facebook kind of way. In a, I've absolutely been in this man's apartment after a chaotic night at North Texas back in 2010 kind of way. Yeah. You've been doing it as a part way. So you know, OK, so let me get this. So you go on Facebook, you're like, oh, she's engaged. I knew that. Let me catch up with what's going on in her life. And you're like, wait, I know this guy. So you know I'm hurt like personally, personally, very personally. I mean, not, I don't know him well, but, but I do.

If that makes sense, you know, back then, I was at North Texas living my best life, which was occasionally questionable. Yep. And I definitely hooked up with this guy like a few times and, oh, yeah, I know. I'm going to be on to that. Obviously, it's nothing serious. I'm married now. I haven't thought about this guy in years. Sure. I had no idea if she was engaged to him. And it doesn't really matter from the standpoint of it was back in college. I don't know. But, you know, I was invited to the wedding and I do want to go. But like, what if he recognizes me? Yeah. I would assume you'd remember. So I just feel so weird and awkward about it. But at the same time, like, what am I going to do tell? Why would I tell her? You know what I mean? Like, I don't think that's the move. I don't think that's the move. I don't think that's the move either. But there's no way you could take the chance of just showing up at the wedding, knowing that you hooked up. And this happened multiple times. Yeah. OK. But like, I don't think he'd want to address it either.

So like, as long as he doesn't say anything, we're good. I don't think he would either. But this is tough. What do you do? What an awful situation. I mean, do you need to go to this wedding? You haven't even kept up with her. I think it would be fine. I was totally planning on going before I knew this. And I already told my husband about it. So that's another thing, you know, it's your husband. Yeah. I mean, he knows, obviously, I've been with other people. So it's not like it's a mystery. But yeah, I mean, it's not an ideal. No, and I know what they're like, yeah, of course, people have passed. But this is a little too. It's just also the date. It's not like you're going to high school or union. No, what are the odds? This is kind of weird stuff that would happen to me. Yeah. But this is totally something that would happen to me. I feel like this stuff only happens to me. No, we're a lot of like, we're a lot of like wins the wedding anyway in the summer. Okay. Okay. Oh, Candace, what would you do? I don't know. I just, I don't know why you need to go to this wedding, you know, because there's an open bar. Yeah. And she got invited.

Yeah. I mean, I already said I was going. Yeah. Weddings can be fun. Some people love wedding. Like, I'm not a wedding guy. You do. Yeah. I hate him. Is it involves love and happiness? Just too much for me. Right. If you like weddings and you're there, like, I don't, I don't know. No, of course he's not going to say anything. Yeah. He's going to look at you and go, oh my God. But what if he, okay, here's like worst case scenario, is he's like, oh my God, I know her. And you guys are dancing to reception. And then he pulls you off to the side. Oh my God. Like, and she sees you to side barring. Yeah. And she's going to side bar with her at this wedding. Candace, my God. I'm going to side bar. I'm going to be like, what are you doing here? Yeah. You'd be like, wait, I can't believe you to know each other. She's going to be like, what were you guys talking about? Oh, how we looked up. Maybe you could reach out to him before. No. No. Don't reach out to him at all. Yeah. You do that. No. Then in the time, premeditated. I'm, yeah. Okay. Fine. I'm not going.

Who are you going? Yeah. I'm going. There's three four because I can tell you're leaning in on going. So let us know what you end up doing, though. Okay. Okay. I will. I think I'm going to go. But I'll let you down. There. Follow up with us. Maybe you tell the girl first, hey, just to let you know, I hooked up with your fiancée back in the day. Oh. Or is that something you just shut up about? Do ladies shut up about that kind of stuff? Yeah. That's done. Okay. Nothing. No. No.
