2:03All right. Thought the Southern Miss Defense started out strong against Auburn. ODEU had first half issues against Votech and we will get to JMU's record setting 87 points. But we did have breaking news on Monday, former JMU quarterback. Now UCF quarterback Alonza Barnett, the third AB3 is out for four to five weeks with a hamstring injury. That was actually brought up by the locked locked on UCF guys. My guy Mike G. And they were talking about it with Ryan from a state of Atlanta. So Alonza Barnett, the third is out. Kiwan Jenkins is in. He is not your typical coming off the bench having ever played ball game. He's got plenty of experience in this playing college football. But they did bring Alonza Barnett the third in because they wanted him to play over a Jenkins. So we'll see how that goes.

3:03I did hear Ryan from state of Atlanta say we usually step up and play these big teams really well, especially when he got TCU right after us. But we're also the team that loses to the backup. As they said, we lost to Auburn because TJ Finley came off the bench and saved Bo Nixon's backside. As Georgia State was going to win that ball game. So that spread by the way has fallen from 20 and a half to 18 and a half when that news came out. We'll see where it goes from here. All right. I'm already in on Georgia State. Not only covering the 18 and a half, but they're going to win the football game. All right. They are. I don't mean to go off on a tangent. But Georgia's UCF is not taking this game seriously. At least the media is it. All right. I will say Scott Frost will. He's the coach of UCF. He knows all about getting beaten by. Some of the teams as Georgia Southern went in to Nebraska and took down the corn huskers.

4:06But the media. The guys on locked on UCF. Don't think this is going to be an issue at all. All right. I'm telling you that Georgia State defense is playing extremely well. And now Georgia State defense going up against the backup. Although not typical. They don't want to have to score that many points and we'll see if UCF UC's UCF defense, UCF defense. Can slow down Cameron with an A Brown. All right. We'll see. All right. I got almost three touchdown technically. I do have three touchdowns to work with. Okay. All right. So now this segment is going to be long. J.M.U.'s record setting 87 points. Obviously impressive. Okay. It doesn't matter who you're playing. I mean, they scored at least 21 points and all three and all four quarters. Yes, it's four quarters. Camden Coleman, a through for a lot of yards on 18 passes 12 out of 1871 yards. You'd like to see a little bit better of a completion percentage of that, but did not throw an interception.

5:11And had one touchdown. Nick Herman sophomore. How about this eight rushes for 132 yards. Two touchdowns averages 16 and a half yards. A carrier. Pedaway only had he struggling. Although he did have three touchdowns 10 attempts 40 yards. You didn't get the other quarterbacks in there. Maiden and Vivo. Vivo. Is that how we're saying his name? He was one of one with 16 yards. Tanner Vivo. And aarrington Maiden. We're a combined if you can imagine this eight out of nine for a hundred and 27 yards and two touchdowns. All right. Jam, you almost 600 yards to Wagner's 204. I and just an all out. Water. I presume I mean that they missed on a drive. They did. They actually pointed. They scored touchdowns on their first.

6:14Four possession. They seem to go forward on their next possession. Um, not kicking a field goal. And. They did score on their next six possessions. So they scored on. 10 out of 12. Possessions and one field goal. So. Record setting day. Lottax scored. 80. And then. Last weekend. Or, you know, week one. And now J.M. You. Get the 87 points. This weekend. Again, we don't know what to make of J.M. You all right. Didn't play particularly well against Liberty. We know Liberty is not all that good because they almost lost a Gardner win. It's a nice win. And we're going to see a little bit more of Liberty. I guess they get. They get coastal Carolina on Thursday, not this week, but next. And so we'll see more of Liberty. And then. I still don't want to make a J.M. Obviously 87 points is impressive.

7:15I get it that it's against Wagner. But. All right. All these other teams. Played FCS schools and they didn't score 87 points. So. Okay. So we will take this with a grain of salt. Obviously, if you're building a pure, you like giving up only about 200 yards. You think about a touchdown. It's tough to. It's something to get upset about anything. If they. Commit some penalties, you know, I don't know. Where would we be upset with this if we were. Let's see here. Penalties. They did six penalties for 70 yards. It seems to be a lot of average these days. But overall impressive performance by J.M. You now here comes a tough part of their schedule. They're going out to San Diego State. And then they're coming back to play O. That's not great because they're going to lose. They're going to lose a day in their basic. They're basically going to lose a day. They're not. You know crossing an ocean. But.

8:15You know, I'd love to hear. If we can find out what their schedule is going to be because they're going to land. What do we say 80 M. On Sunday. That's if they get on to a plane by midnight. Five hour flight. Three hour time zone change. It's going to be 8 AM. They're going to. Well, they're going to lose a half a day. So we'll see how that is. Again, if I was. I would have them do something. I would. I'd tell them to get some sleep. And then we're going to have lift on Sunday when we get back. And then you can go take a nap and we'll get back together. Sunday night. So that's what I would do. I don't know. We'll see how Napier is going to handle that. All right. I didn't want to talk about. Troy very quickly here. Again, a little bit uneven. I guess they could be keeping it vanilla. They have Missouri this weekend. That's not quite going to go the way I was hoping it was going to go. They beat Alabama state 34 17.

9:17A little bit of an issue to begin with. The 14 7 at the end of one. They did take a 31 to seven lead. Into half. And then they play with their food. They scored three points for the rest of the ballgame. Alabama state scored 10 in the third inning in the third inning in the third quarter. Troy had 12 penalties for 120 yards. That's not great Bob. And Guss Kroger again, about 50%. That's not good either 14 out of 27, 201 yards. And one touchdown. This is against Alabama state. They're going to go see Missouri. Tucker Koch, kill Greece came in there. And so did Evan Krenshaw for just a couple of plays. But I still don't think although Troy, you're going to start out to know and they are to know. They have not been to impressive wins. They did put up 427 yards of offense. And they did not turn the ball over. They didn't have an interception. They did fumble up but didn't lose it.

10:17And they only gave up 221 yards on defense. So statistically not bad, but scoreboard. Not great. But they are to know and they are Missouri again. Maybe they're just being vanilla for vanilla's sake. Two teams, although they had to hang on to beat Sam Houston. They knew they were going to beat Alabama state. And maybe they're doing something different against Missouri. I don't know. But they are to know, although it just has not been impressive. All right. What was impressive was coastal Carolina. All right. And do spaley leading the Shanta clears to Ryan Beard's first win as the Shant's coach. We'll talk about that next after I tell you about Fandool and indeed. 14:24All right, Dave Schultz locked on sunbow your teams every day. All right, those coastal Carolina shunt to clears and do spaley. Well, so impressive in the second half of the West Virginia ballgame. Rich Rod came over to tell do spaley how how impressed he was and people of course, maybe they took it the right way because it's rich Rod. But everyone's like he's already recruiting do spaley. Unfortunately, Rich Rod, a casualty of the times that we're in coastal Carolina, beats up on Ford. I'm 45 to seven, 28 to seven at half time, four hundred and sixty yards to two, 15. Again, six penalties, 50 yards, 23 first downs to 11. That's really good. Six for 14. I'm third down. Do spaley was 12 to 25, two hundred and three yards, but three touchdowns.

15:25I did run it four times for 21 yards. Let's hear Jayden, Alan Hendrix. He was a leading Russia, seven attempts for 58 yards and Hinton had a big ball day. Colton Hinton, three catches, 101 yards and a touchdown. And you know, coastal, not that far away from being two and a home. They get Delaware this weekend. That again could be. And then they get Liberty. Are they looking? I mean, they could be looking at a three and one start under a Ryan beard. All right, Delaware is not going to be push over. I believe they are underdogs at Delaware. In fact, ESPN has M at a 73 percent winning chance for the blue. So I would be careful that is only. Well, it's now up to to open up at four and a half for Delaware. It's now up to five and a half for Delaware.

16:30Let's see who Delaware is played by the way. And we'll preview this later on in the week. Delaware beaten Marimack and you know, hung tough with Vanderbilt. They beat Marimack 42 to seven and lost to Vanderbilt 35 26. They did score nine points in the fourth quarter. So it was close to 35. 17 if I could. 35 17. They did score. In fact, they've led it a half time. They led 17 to 14 at half time Vanderbilt score 21 in the third quarter. All right. It'd be easier if I looked at the box. And then do the math in my head. So that's not going to mean easy ball game by any stretch of imagination. So they're almost a touchdown underdog. But if they can pull that win off. Though you coastal Carolina against a Delaware again, they are getting liberty at home on Thursday. And then we got a big matchup. I mean, it's a I mean, the rest of the sundault sleep for coastal is just not easy.

17:32Where is the for sure win? Georgia Southern. I'm not even going to tell you where they are. But Georgia Southern Marshall app Georgia state old dominion Arkansas state Louisiana and J. M. You know, if they are two and two or three and one, they'll be favored against Georgia Southern at home. Probably won't be favored on the road at Marshall. They'll be favored against that state unless that state beats North Carolina state. Then we'll see they probably won't be favored at Georgia state. They could be favored at home against old dominion at home against Arkansas state won't be favored against the Cajuns or J. M. You on the road. So it's important to start not I'm not saying who's going to win and lose those ball games. I'm just saying. If Georgia state is as good as we think they are, we're phrase that as good as I think they are. It's not a pushover win. And none of those games are anymore. So I think that is pretty cool in the sundault. I think that is pretty cool. So Carolina. A nice win on on Saturday.

18:37All right. Not such a nice win was ODU. They had issues in the first half. I think that is a good win. I think that is a good win. I think that is a good win. All right. First half 249 yards to 109 second half a little bit more even 201 for ODU 167 for Vatak. Now Vatak had a big lead. So they're going to run the football. But you know, you go into halftime down 34 to six. I do like the attitude of coming out and you know, you outscored them, you know, 15 to 10 keeping their heads up.

19:38Ricky Ronnie is a good coach. You know, winning the ball game is tough at that point in time. All right. Not impossible. Right. You need to stop in a score and probably another stop another score. But it's just like we're just going to say the cliche. We're going to play it at zero zero. And start over. And let's see what happens. Just execute. Just go out and execute. Stop making mistakes. Stop committing penalties. Let's see what those totals were here. You know, they had three turnovers. They had four four fumbles and they lost a three of them. Hennickel didn't throw an interception 13 out of 2187 yards. He also ran for 83 yards and had a touchdown in the air and on the and on the ground. Penalty is not that bad. Six penalties. 45 yards. But those turnovers are just going to kill you. And that's and that's what happened here. In the first half when they stopped turning them all over. They stayed even with Virginia Tech and tough, tough when you're, you know, on the same.

20:44Handler level as the other team and turn it over. As you saw the buckeniers couldn't do it against the bangles. When the botek is, you know, almost a 20 point favorite. It's really tough to do it. You know, you can't it's got to be the other way for you to have a chance to win, right? I'm we saw. You know, a lot of tech. Get a bunch of turnovers and still couldn't score. They still. They were behind at halftime and I think LSU turned the ball over four times in the first half. Even when that's the case, it is not easy. Nonetheless, Ode to use got ECU this week. We will be live post game show. I should be home almost prior to kick off. All right, not a whole lot of yardage in this one. 381 from UAB and ULM 257. And then in the past the game is an issue for ULM. It's been a passing game under Vincent. This one is not aad nirmenta, but it's Austin Carlisle 10 out of 19 for 56 yards. How do you complete 10 passes for 56 yards? Where we throw it. I did throw one interception.

22:47You know, UAB didn't pass it for a whole lot more rider Burton, although about double. He completed eight passes on 16 attempts for 115 yards and one touchdown and one interception. Roger Robinson, the second did run for 114 yards and 21 carries and former South Alabama. Jaguar and I believe McGill Toulin Hornet, Brailleen McGrennells, 16 yards, 16 carries 75 yards and a touchdown. He's been playing college for Paul forever, but that is just a loss that you got to have if you're ULM in that case. It's one thing if you're getting beat and getting beat all game. It's another thing bringing a touchdown lead into into the fourth quarter and letting it slip away. Because again, now they get South Eastern. All right, there. Well, there's no line on that one. There will be they get South Eastern.

23:50Then they're at host FAU. All right. And then where do we find a win for them in the Sunbelt? They're at South Alabama. They're hosting a lot of tech. That's going to be a huge ballgame. All right. Hopefully they draw a huge crowd. And Malone Stadium. I think it's got a new new name now. They're at Troy. They're home against Southern Miss at Arkansas State Cajuns. And then they finish up in the east, going back twice at app state. And then at home. Well, it's at home versus Marshall. So can you find can you find me a win in the Sunbelt? I mean, maybe the home games Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss, but those are for sure. So they need to be nice if they go in both these ball games, but I think it's going to be an issue trying to beat FAU. Although that is at home, it is at home. All right. Let's come back. And overall Auburn rushed for I mean they had 613 yards 343 rushing yards overall let's break it down a little bit because I thought it was a little it was pretty good. So let's see what it was in the first quarter. Um, they did rush for 60 yards in the first quarter. They only rush for 18 yards in the second quarter. And they still only rush for seven eight yards in the first half that's math. The second half they rush for 265 that is. You know, that's when they're wearing them wearing them down so. They did rush for a bunch in the in the third quarter. But nonetheless, I mean, you know, the Russian for 18 yards in the second quarter even 60 and 78 in the entire first half that's impressive. All right, I understand it was even was 27 to eight.

31:26Okay. It's going to be a blowout. It is. And I guess Auburn. Barely covered. The offense is going to get is going to have to get better already. And Hampton 18 out of 2746 yards a touchdown in two interceptions. Auburn's defense is pretty good, right? They've given up. What's 17 and 16? I'm sorry, eight. I'm sorry, eight. Eight points and 16 points. So far this year, all right, they stopped the two point conversion literally at the goal line for a bailer. All right, so the defense has been pretty good. All right, I should mention, uh, Liddy got in there for. Southern miss. He was four out of six for 25 yards, but I like what the defense was doing. All right, they're going to obviously have to score some points and then I'm going to play a defense as good as Auburns. I'm not a tech and Georgia Southern notwithstanding.

32:27So let's see if we can find a little offense for a Southern miss. And let's see what that schedule is. Well, they got you con and then they're at too late. What perfect if they go in if Southern miss goes in and beats too late, it's going to be a problem. But now again, now you have, you know, the schedule, they're at too late. They're at Troy. They're not going to be favored in either one of those. I don't even know if they're favored at home versus, uh, you con. They're not. They're underdogs at home. They get Arkansas states and the Cajuns at home. Then they're at Monroe. They get jam you at home at La Tech South Alabama home at home at Old Dominion. So after, um, you con game at home and got two on the road, two at home, and then every other game after that is every other game on the road and at home. Alright, so, um, it's not easy. It's not an easy schedule. So see if they can sneak a win against Yukon.

33:29What I think is the Toledo coach, right? The former Toledo coach. Is that Yukon? Um, it was Jamora junior who had actually done a sneaky good job. Uh, at Yukon. Over the last couple of years. Well, let's see if they can get this way. Alright, they're three point underdogs at home. Let's see what Yukon is on. I have not noticed Yukon score this year. Um, they lost a Maryland 3814. They beat Lafayette, not Louisiana. They beat Lafayette on a Pennsylvania 56 to seven. Let me see. What the predictor is. Oddly enough, matchup predictor. Although Yukon a three point spread, the matchup predictor has Southern Miss winning. 69% of the time. So there's that. Take that for what it's worth. Alright, that'd be a nice win for Southern Miss and start not the season two and one.

34:31Again, we'll preview a lot of this moving forward. We'll wrap it up to Lane beat South Alabama 2824 or more likely to the point South Alabama beat South Alabama. 2824. You had seven, you had 478 yards on offense. You got 25 first downs to 13. You did not turn the ball over. You had the possession of the ball for 37 minutes and 40 seconds to the opponents. 22 minutes and 20 seconds. You were 10 out of 16 on third downs. Didn't make a fourth down. You had 72 plays to 51 plays. And you know, it's the immense. You somehow did not win that football game. And this is why you didn't. Alright. The deal in Lucas had a 214 yards on 11 carries a long of 80.

35:38Destin Hill had four catches 91 yards a long of 61. Alright. They actually what they throw it to. Oh, is that the quarterbacks brother, Simone, Simone, he had a catch 36 yards. Brown Stevens one catch 21 yards. Alright. They gave up big play after big play after big play had chances to put the game away. And just could not do it. And as it turns out, deserve to lose the game because even after these even after two lane scored, just go back and score again. They dominated the first and third quarters and they couldn't get it done. They were up 27, 24 going in first goal and they just could not get it done. 28, 24 or no, it was, um, it was a 24, 17.

36:44I want to wrap this up. Let me see scoring. It was 24, 21. I think that's what they said. And then they just couldn't put the game away. They had it and could not put the game away. And this is where the heat starts on South Alabama. They have a game this week that is Ohio. They need to win that ball game. Then they're coming to see me. I don't know if they want to see me now. They're coming to Kentucky after that. I'm not sure how good Kentucky is. I didn't lose a lot of money. I bet I'm Kentucky to win the ball game.
