Lierre Keith, author of The Vegetarian Myth, Is a former vegan who saw from the inside just how harmful this ideology was to her and other individuals, but to the planet itself. The good and kind intentions of people had been co-opted to push an agenda that did not meet the goals that it claimed to, and so Lierre set out to set the record straight and return not only people's health through proper nutrition of an animal-based diet, but to improve the environment and health of the world at the same time, in the same way. Come see this very interesting interview with someone who was on the inside of the vegan movement for much of her life and was able to see the damage that it caused to her health and the environment first hand.
