It's time for the Gizwis with Mads Maddist Writer, Diggie Bartolo. This is episode 2,111 recorded Thursday, September 24th, 2026. Pump the rope. On this episode of the Gizwis Diggie-D heads to toy insiders holiday of play and brings back some gadgets. I have my final organization gadget. I'm done being organized and Diggie-D goes to church. All next on, Veggies with Diggie-D. It's the same. It's time for the Gizwis because gadgets are his business. They've got a Gizmo sickness-Eq disease. Under pathology. Frozen rose at USB, growing, growing LEDs. It's ready for the Gizwis now. Now, here he is. The ASPCA, I don't know, the animal gadget special.
I was trying to bring in Jack-Jack. Diggie-D, how you doing? What are you doing? What are you up to? I'm doing good, sir, and you. Doing good. Doing good. Yeah, doing great. I don't... Not much happened this last week for me, but... Oh, I did. I ran a race. I did run a race. Oh, yeah, how did you do? Yeah, I actually did great, did fantastic, did good. And, gosh, let me remember, what even was that race? Oh, my gosh. I have another one coming up in two days. So now that's the only one I can think of, and I can't remember the theme or the last one I just did. But anyway, yeah, I have another one coming up in two days. Oh, okay. I'm excited. It's the battle of the bands. And so along... You have to run with an instrument. And battle people. It's like roller derby. So along the course, there'll be bands playing.
And then at the end, you tear something off of your bib and vote for your favorite band. So there'll be like band music along the course and stuff. Oh, my God. At the post-race area, there'll be a band and stuff like that. And things like that. So yeah, it's going to be very, very fun. Lake Nona, that's the race I did. That's why I couldn't remember it because it was just an area. I was thinking there was a theme. And now I remember, there's no theme on the one I just finished. That was the Lake Nona 5K that was just... It was just an area. So it was kind of cool. But yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, anyway. Well, what did you do this last weekend? Let's see, I had two big events. One of them was very interesting. I went to church to St. Paul and St. Andrew Church. And it was for Broadway Inspirational Voices.
Wow. And it was interesting because they sent out an e-mail saying, would you like to come to a performance? Not a performance you watch from your seat. An invitation to be part of the show or the sound itself. And I don't sing. Dennis doesn't really sing. But it said also, if you just would like to come and enjoy the voices blending. That's cool. It's like musicals you might sing along. Yeah, so yeah, not for quite sing along. You went in and you told them what kind of voice you had. It's a Prano Alto. Oh wow. And then you had the lyrics to some hymns and one Broadway show. And after about 20 minutes, the first run through was so terrible. I said to Dennis, should we leave? And then it said, no, let's stay with this.
Well, these instructors were amazing. Wow. And so they cut you to the pinhole through it. Yes, exactly. And now this group over here, all the various voices in different sections, you do this now. Behind them, you do this and then you do this. And then suddenly after about 45 minutes, it was like very inspirational that to see how with a great teacher, you can take about 150 people who just volunteered to do this to sound like a choir. It was a wonderful, a wonderful thing. Man. And then let me, let me, I was only just showing this. You have some photos from inside. Oh, yeah, this is what the group looked like. This is gorgeous. Yeah, the church is great.
And also, it's a wonderful church. It's called St. Anthony, St. Paul St. Anthony. It's at 86 feet in West End, very close by. And they not only have church services, but they, one night they had a disco, one night they had this event. Down in the basement, they do a lot of food work to the charity that I donate to the west side coalition against hunger. So it's really wonderful. The space is constantly used. Wow. And I really like gorgeous, and I assume the organ's work. Oh, my work. Yeah, it's really great. It was great fun. Wow, wow, very, very cool. Very cool. Okay, now you went in an addition. It was time for the annual insiders, holiday of play. Now, this first video is a little
choppy because they say, you will see the top hottest toys of 2026. And that is the thing most of the press wants to see. Right. So there's crowds around the table. And even though the toys are there, most of the toys did not have a representative. So I will talk over my own voice too because I got a press release today about some of the toys and so I can identify more of them during the video. But this is a look through 20 of the hottest toys for this coming holiday season. Okay. What's going to be big for the holidays? We're at the toy insider and we're going to take a look around. This is going to be a fast look at toys. We're going to do a special video on that. The whole video is coming up.
That looks great. There are still things with these little plastic kits. Right. Chemistry. Barbie is now into chemistry. Chemistry. Chemistry. Barbie, I can't tell you this. These we on the show. We're up things in cosmos. Space station, 140 bucks for kids three and up. Crale and goo. Wow. Everybody's into goo. We've done nose. And this woman came up where I didn't quite make it. So far as we did. Back in time. $150 kit. These are cardboard instruments you can build. And it's a whole set that comes with a child safe
saw. Wow. Wow. Oh my gosh. This guy we did this on the show. It's bigger and deeper voice as he grows. Yeah. Man, that's crazy. Line up of toys. Yes. And then I forgot what this is. Mario. Yes. Yes, exactly. Oh, and we did this. We did this truck. The truck with a dinosaur inside it. That is your old truck. Yeah. And then you can even take the inflated dinosaur out and he stays in place. We did take that and roll him along. Yeah. We also did our own spot on Elmo. Yeah. This is this is many six vault roadster. Oh, there is I forgot. Oh, that's her. So the roadster, the six over also $148. Oh, go go. We know that. Thank you.
Pretty like my eyes. I just saw her in the back here. Very gross. Every time I go with it. Oh, this just I didn't want to interrupt this crew. So I didn't get exactly what get into those. Yes. Well, if it in dog. Sorry, we've done a bunch of those. Oh, okay, Star Wars has a new car was adventure. 800 and 900 and it's a key to a step. The Lego set's going to be 160 bucks. Lego just keeps getting the expensive. Expensive. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, these little guys. So cute. Butter dungeons and dragon. They're the dungeon and dragons. Who can clear up their pimples to burn? Oh, okay. These are all those guys. This is an all new slime kit with six kinds of new ones.
These are called butter loves. Those tiny little toys are so clever. And then nook nooks are toys that you unbox and see what you got inside. And I'm going to show you how the. Oh, my gosh. A few other toys. The rum. That looks. That looks an awful lot like got pie. My mom. Yeah, you know what? It may be the same. Maybe the same. Maybe the same company. To we could actually just. Anyway, a lot of interesting toys coming out. A lot of high end stuff that less table. Everything was under 20 bucks. So there's really. A wider sort of stuff coming for the holidays. A lot of it's out now. And most of it. We'll be out in October. Certainly in time for Christmas. It's amazing to see the.
Breath. You know, the width and depth of the toys that are on offer. Some like go things and brands you've seen before that have new products. Yeah, well, it's great because for a while. You would come away thinking. That I just came back from plastic world. Yeah. Everything was plastic and didn't do much. But now there is so much with the stem and steam toys. There's so much for kids to do other than work with their computer. But hands on stuff. So it's great fun. Great fun. But you can not only use your hands. You can use your butt. And. Here's how. Hey, we're at Rump Race. Is that Rump Race? Yes. Rump Race. And why is it called that? Because we're going to use our Rump.
Okay. Stephanie, we just sit first. Sure. We sit. Well, you start and when you sit, it emplates the blue. Oh, oh, oh, we have to all. Yep. Oh, my god. Oh, oh, my Rump. Oh, what's going to happen? One of the rules. Eventually. The driving. You see you're driving at the. With tension. Needle to go against your opponent. Oh, wait. To what each other's balloon. Interesting. You seem like an unlucky here. Press up against your. I don't know. I thought. You got to let it be. I'm just going to get the first one. But actually, I'm defeating myself. Because I'm pumping my balloon faster. It is such a workout. Yeah, she's like, I can't. I can only demo this three times a day. Yeah, I'd be like, okay, I'm working on my quad sitting at this table at this booth.
Oh, you did it. I lost. Yep. No, you won. I thought I won. I lost the balloon and about three pounds. Stephanie, you know what this is going to retail for? So currently retailing for 1999. Twenty bucks. And to me available at Walmart. Okay. And the time for Christmas origin now. It's out now. It's out now. Okay. One phrase. That is. That is so fun. It's very fun. And it comes with, I think, thirty balloons. But it says takes pretty much standard balloons. Yeah. And so the audit is, I guess you have to keep watching the little pendulum in the middle. You're trying to drive the pendulum over to break your opponent's balloon. So I thought the winner would be who got the balloon the biggest without it breaking.
But by making my balloon so big, I actually pushed it into the pin that balloon. Oh my gosh. It looks fun. Definitely. Yeah. This is like a few other of their toys. Yeah. Only $16. Yeah. And over at Amazon at $17. Yeah. Yeah. But. Very cool. I like it. It's definitely, I like that it has like a little element of something that happens. Pops or something explodes or, you know, I really, really think that's cool. Yeah. No, that's great fun. It's great fun. Well, we're walking around. I would hear these balloon popping. I'd get thinking somebody is saying, oh no, I broke another balloon. But here the audit is too breakable. Yeah. And yeah, the skier ex says, yeah, $16.99 at Target. Very, very cool. Okay. I guess we get another, another gadget.
Yeah. Okay. The very first thing we saw, the crunching. Oh. And this is a close up of what it does. We're here at Crunch Labs. And Dr. Watson, I'm looking. I have an idea this is not what this does. And no, it is not. So Lisa, what are we looking at? So this is the Crunchinator. It's Crunch Labs by Mark Grover from Moose Toys. So this is the toy line of Crunch Labs with Moose. So what we're going to do is take our giant wrench. And we are going to place it on our Crunchinator. Now, is that the syn empty can? This is an empty can. There's nothing in it. Oh, okay. Oh, okay. We're going to take it. Is it coming down? Yep. There it goes. And we're going to crunch our can all the way down. Oh. Now, can I just take a couple turns to see if there's a lot of pressure? Yes, of course. Because there's a lot of pressure. Yes. So it can multiply, give strength by like 30%. Oh, okay.
Oh, okay. Okay. It's not outrageously. No. And you can crush anything. And the optic here is just to make more room in your garbage can? Exactly. Okay. And does it crush other things? You can put anything in there. So there here's different plates that you can change it out. So if you want to crush like ramen, this one might be good. Or a balloon or anything like that. You can crush apples, bananas, like literally anything. Yeah, okay. And that you want to try to crush. You can place in there. Okay. And is that what the packaging looks like? Yep. That's the packaging. Exactly. Okay. And it comes with these plates. It comes with the phone holder. So you can place your phone right here and record like Mark. Okay. And the price point? This is $34.99. $34.99 and available. Now, crunch labs, you can crush your can and make more room for more empty. That's great. So I think that as a toy, here's where I think that they're going with this in their mind,
is a really popular thing on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram. And there are these hydraulic press. Oh. And so there's all this content of crushing crayons or toys or, you know, stack of CDs or what, and seeing what happens when it gets crushed. So I think they're kind of taking that idea. And then Mark Roper is a really big content creator on YouTube. He does all these kind of science videos. We've seen a few. You know, yes, actually go over to the thing where it says videos all the way on the left. Yeah. I think that's right. Yeah, this is him. Exactly. Welcome back to Crunch Labs. I'm Mark Roper and he's the crush. And he shows you a few things that crush it. Yeah. Now, the key physics principle of play here is something we call force distribution. It's basically how the force gets spread out or not spread out on whatever you're crunching.
Now, the classic example is the bed of nails. So I want to prove something first. If a single nail, I have a water balloon, and when I drop it, it splashes. So now, the promised bed of nails. When I take this water balloon and I set it on top because the force from gravity, pushing down on this water balloon is spread out, might as well be setting that balloon on a table. That is just a sneak peek so you can unlock the full video inside. There you go. And he, yes, yes. And also Chad, wasn't there a big event where people tried to see how many things they could wreck in a blender? Oh, yeah, they were in the... Yeah, probably. Yeah. Yeah. He's really well known for the glitter bomb. He kind of like remakes a glitter bomb every year that porch pirates will steal. Oh, my God. That's him. He makes that series of videos. He also does... He has like this elephant toothpaste, like the world's largest elephant toothpaste video that's really popular.
He also made a really funny thing about like keeping squirrels away from nuts. And like, he made this whole like obstacle course for squirrels in his backyard and stuff. There you go. The scooter X is saying the obstacle course for squirrels. Yeah, so... Oh, yeah, I'm packing W. Yeah, so he's done a lot of this type of stuff and he's always kind of science-y-based. You know, he wants to learn the engineer. He was a previous NASA guy, so he's always like learning about the science. So I think that's kind of cool. Yeah. You know what? I often wondered, I've seen... Oh, you can run this if you want. I'm just... Oh, this is like from the reviews. It's just people questions. Yes, yes. Okay. I'm just like, what you could crash, you know? You've got apples and things in there. I've seen so many videos with those exploding boxes. And I see people come back covered in glitter and they go, I'm going to sue you. Is there any... Do you know if there's any liability in leaving one of those on your porch?
Maybe. There might be some. I'm sure that... You know, I'm sure he's made a lot of money off of those videos, so I'm sure he has lawyers who have said... Oh, take your own money. Yeah, it's like, also, you know, the whole premise is it's been stolen off of your porch. You actually got a lot of liability. The liability is gone, you know? Yes, sir. Although you were designed... You know, I don't know, who knows. Yeah. You know, he uses a lot of stuff also like, fart spray and things. So there's like, it's nasty. It's not good, but not toxic. It's not going to... You know, it's not going to ruin anybody. And get in your ears and your eyes and your... Right. Okay, very cool. Do you have any more gadgets from Toyons? I have three more for next week. Yes. Nice. Absolutely. Very cool. Okay, well, now it's time to get... Oh, boy. A bit crappy. Oh, you don't need it, but you might want to catch it. It's crappy, colder.
Get it. Okay, okay. We got organization gadgets. The last of the organization gadgets. I really like it. I like it already. I know. So I recorded a video. Let's take a look. The last of our organization gadgets is here. And today, look at this bad boy. Organization throughout. We're not going to look at the Craftsman small parts organizer. I got this idea off of just like a social media post that I saw. Of how to keep lots of tiny things organized. It wasn't this exact bin system, but I really like it. One of the reasons it locks together. This is truly like locked together. It's not just going to fall apart. And the hinges work really, really well. And that like, they don't seem like they really are high enough to actually connect them when they're closed. Like, I really like how flush they are. But there's just a little lip on the bottom of these.
So when you set them on each other, there you go. When you actually set them on each other. And they close. It will truly lock, which I really, really like. This first one I just have empty just because this is how it's packaged. The stickers, this is kind of nice. You do get three of them in a pack. But I went ahead and stored a few things in the up to. So you have these locks on the side. And then there's also tabs on the front. So just because it's unlocked, the front door isn't going to come flying off. You have to pull those back. And then you get to see the inside. So this one I chose to fill with a few little audio things. A whole bunch of power bricks that I have. And as you can see, nicely organized. The dividers can be arranged and customized. So you get in each one a whole bunch of dividers. And they have little troughs in the inside where you can add the dividers. And they work really well. There's like a triangle kind of system there.
So that they lock in and they don't move once you've put them together. So those are the two ones that I did when it comes to you. All these dividers will just be in the middle. So you can choose whatever space that you want. I really think this is high quality. I'm really happy with it. It's about $30 for the set of three. So each bin comes out to about $10 each. But I think it has some really cool features. And that it locks all together and truly keeps things organized. And if I think it's a lot better than the cheapest option you can get. They also sell it in a six pack. If you need a ton of them. And it's just a tiny bit of a smaller price for that. Okay. Organization done. I like those. They are neat. Yeah. Yeah. I'm really impressed with them. I like that when they're locked together. You can just grab it by the middle handle and carry it around.
And then Scooter X mentioned in the chat. The very next step that I'm going to do is label everything. It's these nice, clearer things. I'll be able to say, USB-C power brick, USB-A power brick, whatever is under there, which will be really, really nice to have a little window and like an actual label of what it is. Here's just the Amazon. Just if you want to check that out another time. Yeah. Not to have bad. And the other options that I was kind of looking at were things that wouldn't clamp together or lock together. And so, you know, if I was going to get a pack of them, having them actually lock together and stay connected, seemed like a huge plus for. Yeah, they really are. Very nice. Yeah. So there you go. Now there is one thing I will mention that I have not figured out yet
is on one side, it's like kind of flat. And then on the other, you have, I have these extra little holes. Let me see if I can get it in the product shot. This side has, oh my gosh, it's really hard to see. These little holes here, like almost for a hinge. Oh, yeah, yeah. That doesn't exist. But the other side doesn't have them. And I, they didn't really have instructions. Like it doesn't really include instructions. And I've been looking online. I can't figure out what that was designed to do. What on earth are those designed to do? Anyway, a mystery about this gadget that I haven't figured out yet. You know, just go back to the Amazon thing for a minute. But that, because I saw a thing that said triple set up. Triple set up. Yeah, just go back to the, uh, and double, oh, triple pack.
Yeah. Oh, there's a triple pack hook sideways. Larger and tools. I don't know, triple pack. Oh, I think it's just, oh, this. I see what you're saying. Triple pack versus double pack. I guess that they sell it. Oh, oh, oh, it's nine of them. Yeah. Or I'm not sure what this one is. I guess you, they sell a version. Yeah, that's bigger, but with only two of them attached. Oh, I see. Oh, extra big. Okay. And then the true, yeah. Yeah. So I guess they sell. Oh, okay. Actually, what you bought is the triple pack. I get it. Yeah, I bought the triple pack. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it is a mystery at some point. They expected it to do more. Yeah. Exactly. Okay. There will be a new theme for the patrons to vote on very soon. So if you're not a patron, become a patron so that you can vote.
Yeah. And there's someone in chat pointed out there are five Thursdays in October. Big show. So whatever the theme is, you're going to need a lot of stuff. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know if Halloween will cover it. If we do Halloween category, if they're going to be enough gadgets. If you're a patron, go to the last poll and put in your suggestions that will help for the next upcoming poll. With that, let's head on to Dix Gadget Warehouse. There are geeky young, there can be together. They are new people when gadgets pass away. He takes them out to play in his gadgets warehouse. All right. So this is from Ivan Han. I know that.
I'm a H-A-H-N who did our letters theme and has made a video, especially kind of for me about a store I talked about a lot and didn't know still existed. So here's Ivan's video. This is a store that Dickey D has talked about in some of his old videos that we found on VHS tapes. This is Ocean State Job Lots. This is a big store that has everything that you want and kind of nothing that you actually need. When you first walk in, you have all of your seasonal items from summer and now there's transitioning over to Halloween items and decorations. And I'm sure very soon Christmas items will be out. Over here you have a lot of, I would say most of the store is home goods like curtains, blankets, rugs, things for the bathroom and the bedroom.
A lot of things to take up shelf space like luggage and just oversized bedding in a bag kind of things. Then the other half of the store is food. You have all sorts of foods that you never heard of or that you really don't want to try. But you might buy it if it's cheap enough like you know pickled beets for $7.99. A lot of garlic, a lot of pickles, a lot of spices. I do love coming here for spices and all that. And here's one that I want Dickey D's view on. Have you ever heard of Hoboken Farms as somebody who lives New Jersey and has had family in Hoboken? I can tell you that there is no space for any family in that whole region let alone in Hoboken. And here we found some gadget items mainly clocks and lamps and and some desk things shelving. We did find some really cool LED lights.
There's like two of them in the store. This is a tornado light that you plug in to your USB and it makes a little tornado and color changing effects. And then down here a little chandelier style LED color changing lamp. Now they do have wires and some tech stuff but it's far and few between. It's maybe like a quarter of an aisle and their prices are not the best that you would expect at a store like this. My favorite part of the store is the plates and cups aisle. You can get individual plates for like one or two dollars and they're the kind of style and durability of like a diner plate that if you drop it it won't shatter. And then there's some fun toys and stuff. But yeah, this is a store that I was excited to see because I heard about it on some of Dickey D's old TKR shows. And you know, could be better, could be worse, but this is my walkthrough of Ocean State job lots here in freehold New Jersey.
That is amazing. That was Ivan you did such a good job covering the whole store. I love it. I love it. It's so interesting because so like TJ Maxx and like Ross they kind of have like a lot of you know betting and that weird food aisle. But most of that is all clothes you know it's all clothes. It's like a bedbath and beyond version of that. It's like it's all like towels and rugs and man. And he's right he's so right on it's stuff you don't need. Everything you want. But nothing you need. And it's inexpensive enough to say, oh let's just buy it. Just collapse. Yeah, or just I need some decor. Let me head in. Let's see if they have a vase you know or something like that. It's like wow. There it is. So how many jobs are there?
I want to see this. You know what I was wondering to say find a store. There's a lot. There's more? Yeah every pen is a store. Look at this. Oh my god. Yeah. No what? Okay. Yeah. Oh look at them. What did not I think I at one time it was the theme to go to Ross or something and I figured out that this is called off price retail or something. Like I think there's a specific term for this type of store. So I guess they have a big chain. They're all out. Oh my gosh. That's great. That is that's yeah I love these kind of stores. That is so fun. Food and beverage literally. Hom essentials, food and beverage and then like the seasonal stuff and some clothing. That is so fun. Yeah everything all the food and beverage is everything that just won't spoil.
Is everything right? Yes. Yeah. Pickled is a spice. Is it? And sometimes you'll find a product from a major manufacturer that just one reason or another they decided no one's interested in this just send them all of the one of those job lots stores. Exactly. Because it's not going to ever hit a supermarket shelf. So those are kind of fun. I'm shocked that the Hoboken Farms Marinera didn't make it. Yeah you would think. You know because I think when you think Hoboken you think Italian. It's just it's it's it's it's it's it's Marinera. So it's a low sodium Marinera to be precise. Well probably you from Hoboken Hoboken. I even thank you so much for that video and everything else you've done for the show. That was great. Oh Ivan's in chat. Yes.
Yes. Yes. Ivan that's great. That's great. And Ivan is not the lettuce not the warehouse theme. The lettuce theme Ivan did the newest one that will look coming up any minute any minute. Right after you tell people how can they submit warehouse videos. Yeah. We're still looking for more videos. Okay. We can use one for next week and anything to do it a gadget or a million gadgets like Ivan's video. Three minutes one to three minutes. Just make sure we can hear your voice and see the gadget horizontal format. New stuff old stuff something you bought and love something you bought and hate. And our favorite is something that 10 years ago was so exciting and so techy. That now is just laughable. We love those kind of videos too. Get it together.
Put it up on YouTube. There's a drop down menu. Click on listed. That way only people with that URL will be able to watch it and send that to us. Mail at gizwiz.tv. And like I said we could use something for next week. And if you've never done a video it's really easy just your phone is all you need. Mail at gizwiz.tv. With that the letters made by Ivan. Now our letter is from Steve who says hey Dickenshed. I wanted to do a video on the Ion outdoor lantern speaker. I printed it from Costco last month. It was on clearance.
I paid $40 for it. The normal price was $99. However I recently went back and it is on closeout. Oh it's not on this thing. It looks like it's out of stock now. Closeout. Oh, he said I'm sending you the email so people can get in on it because it's now $20. Wow, from $120. He said it's just steel for anybody who wants outdoor sound. I guess it's gone. Wow. You know it's very funny. It happened between 4pm today and now. I think when I loaded this up before the show it was still available. Yes, before I send the rundown to you I go to every website to make sure it's what it says it is.
So it ran out of money just a few minutes ago. Anyway Steve, thank you for the update. You can still make a video on it. Yeah, absolutely. I want to say thank you to our patrons over at patreon.com slash gizwiz. Thank you, thank you so much for supporting our show. You guys support us every episode. So thank you so, so much. If you want to support head on over to patreon.com slash gizwiz. And there you can pledge or you can head on over to our website gizwiz.tv. There we are live. More on that in a second. Click the Patreon tab and click that banner or click this PayPal link. If you want to give it one time via PayPal you can also set up reoccurring on PayPal as well. If you want.
