0:00It's March 31st. Entertainment and celebrity news today starts now, AI powered in Spotlight Ready. I'm Cory with the story. Euphoria season 3 hits HBO and HBO Max on April 12th, ending in nearly four year waits in season 2 dropped in 2022. The story jumps five years ahead, catching Roo's South of the border in Mexico, deepened debt to a dealer, and hustling creative ways to settle up. Zendaya wants this chapter to Spotlight Roo's sobriety grind, bringing some joy after all the chaos. Production finally started in February 2025, pushed back by writers and actor strikes, script tweaks, that delay men wrapping Eric Dane's run as Cal Jacobs, before his passing in February 2026, marking his final scenes. Fans reacted with hype, mixed with heartbreak over real-life losses, like Angus Klaus accidental overdose in September 2025, leaving, Fez's fate up in the air. Barbie Ferreira exited as cat after season 2, saying a teary goodbye on social media.

1:02Core crew returns, including Zendaya as Roo, Hunter Schafer's Jules Chasing Connection, Sydney Sweeney's Cassie, and Jacob Allordy's Nate. Fresh blood joins like Trisha Patis, Natasha Lyon, and Moore, while HBO dropped a trailer, March 30th, packed with Roo dodging danger. Respect while turns like Cassie and Nate tying the knot, then hitting Suburbia with her social media obsession. Season 3 flips those season 2 cliffhangers into fresh drama, ready to pull us back in.
