Week one is where projections meet reality in your first lineup decisions can either make you look like a genius or ruin your first Sunday before half time So which matchups should we attack and which ones have danger written all over? Welcome to the hot seat. We're gonna figure it out. I'm Bob Harris Join today by my guest Joe PCP of Phantom NFL You can find Joe on X at Joe PCP of 17 one of my favorite people in the industry super smart guy author of the fancy black book series Does tons of great work and we're gonna dig in Joe I wanted before we get into the individual games. I want to just kind of hit on some things You know and just how much weight should we put on matchups for week one? Well Bob, I know your musical tastes because we've been friends for two decades now and I would like to refer to an old classic An old classic back from I think it was 94 by the Rollins band a song called liar and that is of course I think what week one typically tends to be it's a liar It'll tear your heart out. It'll rip your mind out
It'll do all the things that Henry Rollins told us that it would do and The good news is that it's just week one So we don't want to get too heavily invested now there are some things that happen a couple years ago week one We saw a pukka to koo emerge and a lot of people went oh, that's interesting and some people jumped on it right away Now there's one that's probably out of no words and anomaly if you missed out on pukka to koo that year You missed out on winning your league So there there are some things I think there's a time to be aggressive and a time not to be I think you have to in week one Take all the situations into account take a deep breath after you consume everything you've been waiting so long Especially us who've been waiting months and months to consume this at a very very high level We have to take a breath before we come away with our takeaways from week one because typically it fades away into oblivion before we hit October Yeah, we're sitting here with last year's numbers off season personnel changes coaching changes and some clues from the preseason And we're piecing all those together and reading all those teat leaves that are associated and trying to figure some things out But we have zero twenty twenty six regular season evidence So we'll acknowledge that right off the bat just like are we more likely to
Air on the side of pushing too hard on matchups or not hard enough It's very difficult. I think what the matchups like you said the data we all have is from last year and A lot of these rosters are very different a lot of these coaches a third of the league is different So what these teams are gonna do and how they're gonna do it is still a work in progress even a week one and even a month one so It's I think the great challenge of September when it comes to NFL stuff Which is why I think you rely on the situations that you know, you know going into the year the coaches with the teams You know the situations, you know more like you know the 49ers you gotta know what you're getting out of them You you kind of know I think what you're getting out of the Rams at this point, right? There's certain teams where you just you know what they are they have an identity It's very easy to buy you know and kind of approach Whereas a lot of these other ones are in flux and still kind of figuring out who they are in their identity So it is a great challenge I think for me the biggest thing I try to do is pay attention to the injuries and some of the early notes that you're getting I give you for instance like Charlie Kohler looks like he is the high tight end on the deaf chart
Yeah, well that's a signal to me that there's a good chance of our inhampton We're gonna look at some of the overs on him and Vegas stuff and we're gonna look in terms of fantasy wise for him to have potentially a big day Because maybe we're looking at just run the football a lot in week one and just kind of keeping it simple there So it's little pieces of nuggets like that that I think you could take away and kind of use in your fantasy and even in your wadering We're gonna dig into that match up the chargers in particular But a couple of thoughts before we get into that is you know We cannot be dismissive of the fact that the NFL is a game built on volatility uncertainty and variance Right so all the things we know are great and all the processes we use are fantastic and all the little clues that we face together Work really well until they hit the field and then strange things can happen And that's part of the fun of fantasy football is trying to find the safest place while still being aggressive and a lot of times Matchups are all about that boring diamond click reminder. I want you to like this video because it's fantastic at so it's Joe Subscribe to football guys YouTube channels all of them share the show Helps us tremendously comment and I will and I will answer your comments and I'll remind you the football guys daily

Let's find some let's find us some points young man Los Angeles Chargers are facing the Arizona Cardinals I Arizona allowed 28.7 points per game last year 29th of league surrender 230.8 passing yards 126.9 Russian yards per game This seems like a good deal and we're starting all our chargers But how far do we go do we take this to the look Omar and Hampton who you mentioned Justin Herbert lab McCockey were planned if we take this down to the to the Clinton Johnston level I think you can take it down to the Quentin Johnson level because I think the defense of the EBS are carinals This taught us over the years that you know you could take some shots on them and you could be pretty successful and even the preseason
We saw them take a couple shots there were QJ in the limited time that they had on the field all the starters together Which was limited for everybody this year why were even doing it this boy? I don't even know what the point is but I think it's our QJ I think he's flex worthy for sure in three wide receiver leagues Especially when you have that flex. I think he's definitely in the two wide receiver leagues with the flex if you want to go a little bit more with maybe a You know secondary running back like you have a Rico Dowdler or Jordan Mason or something like that I can understand maybe just want to get like a floor of points for that first week instead of the volatility of a guy like QJ But I do think QJ is is certainly on the board. I think the Colour News I think it's certainly timies any like love from maybe a rendezvous this week I'm not saying he of course he's gonna be in there. He's gonna get some snaps. He's gonna be in there on past Maybe Probably I mean, but you're having jokou too right to it. It's muddy So I do agree with you. I think the big three you're starting QJ's flex worthy everything else you're waiting to see and Then you're just hopeful that these pieces that we're looking at as the cornerstone Quarantone cool pieces
Deliver the expectations that we think they're going to and I do believe in that mic mcdayney office that they're going to It's gonna be really fun to watch we drafted lab of a cocky Maybe closer to his floor than it's healing right middle of the second round We have high expectations here for all the you know for Justin Herbert as well But you mentioned it might this not be what the Arizona defense so bad we saw last year They they would give up big leads and maybe we'll talk about their offense for a second But could this be a limiting factor for Herbert maybe lab mccockey and a plus for a mario and hampton this game Look, I think that when you go back and you see you know the data chase dosklo So comes on my show every week and we do it inside the numbers together He's a former NFL next gen stats guy so He brought the the data from the the micro game law fences over the years of the run game and how how prolific it was And when you have a quarterback the caliber of Justin Herbert that keeps defense is so honest I think it's gonna be very problematic for every single defense So I think not only is hampton gonna get fed the football a lot in this game I do think had this gonna be very successful because I think the scheming of how they get him the football is going to be
Fascinating. I think that the Sealing for Herbert is I still think is relatively high because I get the feeling that Mike the game wants to use all his new toys and I think with the one thing we know about you know Jim Harball over the years is he doesn't care like you keep the foot on the gas all the time, right? Like it's it doesn't matter this is an individual game you want to you know I'm not sorry not individually. It's not a conference game Excuse me that you know sometimes those get a little weird too So I would not be shocked if we go ahead there and they put you know a big 30 burger on them in that first week That would not shock me at all and and so I you know I think for me that I am that is the top piece here. I'm happy playing Justin or I'm like I'm playing all these guys on the other side of ball Like Arizona famously. I mean they fall behind and there goes Jacobi present Jacobi for setting and to the benefit of Traimak Ryden Mike Wilson Maybe Marvin Harrison Jr. I know you have thoughts on those guys Which ones are you playing Delightfully in this game and what are you doing with the backfield? Well look you're playing Traimak Brian because of the draft capital
Like he never comes out of your lineup. No what I think it's super flex leagues You know if some reason you don't like the quarterback situations that came for you and you have like brisette and toa out there I might be more apt to play brisette Just because you know the the person hell around him and you know how we interacts with them To me that feels a little bit more warm and fuzzy if you got into like every really bad spot Hopefully it didn't happen because you you Absorbed all the football guys content you listen to Bob Harris a lot of season But Michael Wilson to me. I think it's a very viable third wide receiver to play this week He's already kind of established himself You saw the contract extension too when I always say follow the money Marvin Harrison's the tricky guy for me Bob. I mean if I have some matchups that I prefer And a little bit shorter funnel of target volume I'm more apt to play some of those guys over Marvin Harrison this particular week I don't know where you stand especially because that charger defense. It's very good I'm with you. I'm probably not gonna I would be looking for other options the truth is I don't know that I have a single share of Marvin Harrison Junior in my manage leagues Uh, I'm kind of Michael Wilson. So so that's not gonna be an issue for me
He was the cheaper piece and I think you know We saw the wide receiver one production live here although I don't know that we're gonna get that this week Because I do think you're right the Chargers defense is tough both more ravens at the Indianapolis Colts Indianapolis allowed nearly 250 past yards per game last season near the bottom league Baltimore's and road favorite and and one one of the this week's healthier games um We got a new offensive coordinator in Baltimore We've seen that workout well for Lamar Jackson the past. He has a pair of MVP seasons with new coordinators Declan Doyle takes over What do you expecting is Lamar? Lamar Jackson a candidate to finish this week is Wife's the or quarterback one overall based on the matchup alone or do you have concerns about the offense the new scheme? No, you know what I definitely think is in the running for that is certainly top three I think we can look for him um I think we get back to the basics of the structure of what this personnel is bob and that is Lamar Jackson Facilitating the football smartly and Derek Henry grounded and pounded like that's what you do here
Also, there's a flowers questionable tag to you. I'm not super concerned The guy that really intrigues me is Jacobi Lane I think this is a player that's going to be one of the hot waiver wire pickups and those shorter leagues because If he should pop off especially since you know the bait meant situation has been kind of fluttering around there Jacobi Lane is a really interesting player and I do think that there's He could be one of those hot week one guys that comes off the waiver wire right where you start looking like Okay, do we want to overreact to it? Do we want to under react to it that debate might rage on Yeah, he's worth picking up early too if you're looking for guys off the waiver wire right now He's floating around there him Caleb Douglas like there's a couple guys out there there like kind of 30% roster on sleeper and less That have that ability I think Lamar is very much in that running though To finish as a top three maybe even cubie won this uh this week because I also want to see how healthy Daniel Jones really is over the span of a game I do think he's good enough to play the question is where are we at here with the fatigue factor of four quarters of football and I think that is a bigger question I think the ramp up for Daniel Jones is going to take a little bit longer than other people wanted to take I'll be interested to see that compared to the reporting we've got which has been
Is positive injury reporting as I've seen hasn't mr. Practice uh at least two beat writers I talked to including James boy from the athletics that you'd never know he'd been hurt watching in practice Alex Pierce maybe a different story because we all saw the video of him walking with one calf smaller than the other But he's playing so yeah, and and I do have a lot of lineup decisions I'm invested in him and it's 550 50 whether he's playing in my lineup or not I mostly draft him as a wide receiver for us that's probably not a problem Zay flowers what is he to you? I mean he just got paid I think last year finishes wide receiver seven to me I've had a blind spot because I feel like he's not consistently high end enough. Why am I wrong? Well, I don't know if you're wrong because I think the high end is the question right to be a high end wide receiver I think you have to have better touchdown totals which he hasn't had now granted Last year, I think we can contribute some of that to the missed time of Lamar Jackson and even return of Lamar Jackson him Not being really healthy, but it's true He's never had more than five touchdowns in the season so far and we're three years into his career
I think what you've seen though is that steady target volume go up for him You know, I mean he is a guy's come probably a scratch 120 targets this year Last year he called an 86 of them 1200 yards. So I do think we always say the touchdowns are in sticky year over year I think a lot of us saw Touchdown upside in him last season they didn't come to fruition because of what I mentioned earlier But I do think that if he is going to finally break out as we hope that he could This would be the season right fresh start a new look maybe a more aggressive offensive play calling to than we used to in the past I think that's been underwhelming too And looking college he wasn't necessarily like the biggest red zone threat But he did have a fair amount of touchdowns and that's because of his playmaking ability So continue to get him the football in his hands in the in the red zone area I think better things will happen for the Ravens and for Z-flowers But yeah, I think you can scratch out maybe eight to ten this year as opposed to the five that we're used to I like the three prime time players here obviously for Baltimore Derek Henry Jackson and Zay flowers. I've also been to be playing in Mark Andrews a lot I think I drafted him fairly late. Maybe you have some easier choices
But if you don't I think Andrews is a fair play given a matchup the Dallas Cowboys are at the New York Giants The Giants allowed 145 Russian cars per game last season 31st in the NFL 25 points per game Dallas enters is a slight favorite with a healthy implied total. Is this a Javante Williams game Yes, I think it's a Dak Prescott game. I think it's a Cowboys game Like I think the Cowboys right now on paper for me at least I think they overmatch what the Giants have and so much newness for the Giants Like it wouldn't shock me if the Giants had a good first drive and everyone gets real excited kind of reminiscent of how that LSU game with Clemson went on Saturday night where it's like oh, there's a moment All of a sudden everyone's looking like oh, this is going to be a game and then it's not I feel like it could end up kind of in that vein I do think the Giants Will be an improved team this year, but it takes a little while for all those things to come together When you have to do with George Pickens and CD Lam and Javante Williams and Florino has been pretty good this preseason Like I think that's just a lot to deal with right away
So I'm looking for Dak Prescott to have a big day and I agree with you. I think Javante has a big day as well I expect them to have a lead in the fourth quarter Run the football and kind of be in control of this game And if that's the way I'm looking script wise that certainly does lean towards Javante having a fair amount of like 20 plus carries in this game Or something close to touch as wise yeah, they talk a lot about it Maybe try to light his little bit and then they got rid of all the running backs. So yeah We'll see you have that go and yeah, I'm with you. You're starting all those stars Jake Ferguson Is a viable play as well? Maybe not desirable Chicago bears are at the Carolina Carolina pretty much middle to pack and most defensive categories But the Chicago is a road favorite It has one of the better projected totals also year two of Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams Is this the week one matchup where Williams starts paying off on the optimism surrounding? Yes, I think so and I think that the Carolina Panthers had a fun season last year A magical season that a lot of ways especially you know getting to the playoffs
The way they did and then you know Performing so well in that playoff game against the Rams too. We kind of took him to their limit But this is a great opportunity here for Caleb Williams to take another step forward I think last year we saw the growing pains of the newness of the Ben Johnson offense and they were very lucky a lot of things went their way You know my concern with this game is more of the Bears Defense because I think they have a lot to prove you lose Kevin Bired who had a lot of picks last year That turnover ratio for the Bears was spectacular every bounce that could go their way Went their way So when it starts to not do that anymore remember what happened to the chief zero over here remember when every Every close game went the chiefs way and they went to the Super Bowl And they got a blitter in the Super Bowl a couple years ago and then the next year nothing went their way Like how do you react mentally that's what I'm going to be curious to see But I think for Caleb Williams It's a pretty good matchup for him Colson Loveond obviously I know you're high on them. So am I we took him last night my daughter and I do a league together We do one league together we co-manage a team and we took him with our fourth pick And we named our team
Loveland Island that's what you want to name it so very nice very I think like I was having to talk on the radio program with Mike Dempsey last night. I mean I haven't heard a lot of people argue this but I mean based on the last years finish Projecting Colson Loveland as the tight end one overall right up there with Brock Bauer's and Tramock ride It's not crazy if he continues to get me that workload. Are you okay? But not only do I not think it's crazy. I think it's very likely when you consider Quarterback he's playing with the scenario of that offense and who else he has to fight with targets like I I think we're kind of I love Bauer's I love McBride, but like we really look at the Colson Loveond situation It seems a bit better than some of those other guys Some of that target totals the late last season and into the playoffs were like Monumentals. I'm with you there. Are you playing both the Andre Swift and Kyle Monongai not in the same roster? But if you had both are they both playable? I think Swift is more playable than Monongai I'm still kind of concerned about how healthy Monongai really is. I know Swift came up with a injury last week too
But it seems like it was cramping it was we're cramping and things like that But you know, I my trust for all the injury news is so low nowadays for all these coaches I'm gonna just I'd say Swift is viable. Let's wait and see with Monongai. I think it's a better way to go There's one other really great offense of matchup and it's the Bengals going up against the Buckeneers Buckeneers gave up 238 pass and yards for game last season 27th league 30 passing touchdowns huge game You're going to be starting your Joe Vero your Jamar chase your your T Higgins and your chase Brown Anything that you like this week on the other side of the ball though like the Bengals defense not I know they made changes, but is there anything on the Buckeneers side you be willing to take a stand on? Well, look I think on the Buckeneers side Super Flex League's bigger may feel they think it's still viable You know because this is a guy playing for money at the end of the day I think it's total by the way for the years ridiculous 3500 and a half Is the is the passing total for him this year? I'm smashing the over on that as a Buckeneer He's never gone under 36 so I don't understand where that number came from But it does come down to the late reports on ebuka for me. I'll I'll see you can get him
If he is going to play it's very difficult Bob to not have him in the lineup because he comes with so much touchdown equity I think Godwin's viable this week. Obviously Bucky Irving is a start this week I think regardless of whatever matchup you're looking at here against the Bengals and I'll tell you what I think the sneaky play to at some of the Flex spots is Kenneth Gainwell and just talking about like not wanting to start certain wide receivers like Marvin Harrison or Kenneth Gainwell this week Honestly, I think I think Kenneth Gainwell Kenneth Gainwell fourth among all running backs last year In terms of catches from a running back the only guys ahead of him where McCaffery gives and be John Robinson That's pretty easy company. I know to the first class here He was six to seventh and points per game at the running back position It's different on different teams, but at the same time I do think that's a dynamic that this offense kind of needs as they reinvent itself without Mike Evans for the first time in more than a decade Yeah, I'm totally with you on this one. So all right. Let's look at some matchups that maybe on great We'll start out with tonight's game the Wednesday night game New England Patriot Seattle
We realized if you were gonna have to be watching it today to get it on this So we won't spend a lot of time on it. We'll get to the others But I do think this is you know like Seattle out of NFL low 17 point two points per game last season They ranked amongst lead leaders in both front of pass and now they get doing good at home I have high hopes for Drake May. I have high hopes for AJ Brown I think Ramon Ray Stevenson is in a good spot with no Travion Henderson or Unfortunately no Travion Henderson. He had not practiced since august 27th if he gets into practice Tuesday that'll be the first one. So we'll find out. How are you handling your patriots in this game? Well last time we saw Drake May against Seattle. It was not exactly the best. So it's got a pass block It's almost got a pass block. Somebody's got to protect that guy We're gonna see a lot of Ramon Ray Stevenson in this game though too So I would put him as a very viable person to be starting this week as well, especially with Travion's health I think they're gonna want to utilize the big new weapon Yes, Drake May is is absolutely a top 10 quarterback still this week regardless of it's on the road tough building
You're not sitting Drake May. I think that's a crazy thing to do I also think he wasn't healthy in that game leading up to it if you kind of go back and read the tea leaves of what's going on So Mike variable has had a whole offseason for this to stick in his craw he's a good football coach I think they're a very you know disciplined group I think they're embarrassed about how the Super Bowl went and I think you'll get a better showing for them I actually like them to cover in this game Which means from a fantasy perspective you look for AJ Brown to get acclimated right away You look at Ramon Ray Stevenson to be kind of the clear guy here And I think you're gonna see New England Patriot team that has a little bit of a purpose here going against a sea hawk scene that really embarrassed them on the national stage Yeah, mostly if a Nicky Montgomery is available to play in safety You know he's he's dicey at the best as we record this video Uh Buffalo at Houston another tough one Houston only allows 17 point four points per game second only to Seattle Texas were also top six against both fast and row fast and the run and now we have Josh Allen walking into Houston You're playing Josh Allen you're playing James Brook. I'm playing DJ more and I have I off expectations for him
But what are more re what should the realistic expectations be this week Well, I kind of going back to some of the early conversations right about starting your studs on the charger same thing with the bills It's a tough is a tough defensive matchup It doesn't get much tougher than the Texans and you're on the road and and then I don't care James Cook Josh Allen DJ more automatic starts for me Concade I think is a little trickier one. I think you make that point about Ferguson with Cowboys he might be a little bit more viable a little bit more touchdown equity possibly in this game So I would kind of just stick with the big three if I was on the Buffalo side of this one personally and not get too cute with the Cluesha Kiers or the Concage or the Ancillary pieces or shop that they can't produce But it is very difficult as you said 17 points per game Man, that's not a lot of wiggle room in terms of the upside Hey, she's with my key on Coleman chairs. I said And I agree with you. It just out on rushing ability make him effectively match up proof even against Yeah, he's just like Houston 100% 100% because I mean if he gives you that rushing touchdown on top of that Bob
You know, even if he gives you 30 yards and a rushing touchdown But look it's gonna be difficult there on the road Texans are spectacular But also let's let's not forget too. Let's figure out how well that Texans offense is gonna operate too because a lot of A couple times we saw them they looked rough and if they keep giving Josh Allen opportunities Josh Allen eventually is gonna cash in on that Yes, I said 100% true and we'll see James cook out and get make some hey in this one as well I'm with you. I'm sticking skimming the surface not digging deep and on the Houston side of the ball playing David Montgomery Like I love him like a brother because I do Everyone else you're playing Nico Collins, but but beyond that you're taking your chances in my estimation We'll see what K-Shambu he is, but We'll give that a little time a little patience there San Francisco 49ers Los Angeles Rams playing in Melbourne on Friday there Thursday here Kyle Shanahan doesn't know when that happens So it's the video out there floating around us. Well areas rams are already a top scoring top 10 scoring deep as last season Now they've been added to the enormous defense firepower. They've got mile gates and Trent McDuffy
Could have air Donald San Francisco gets that group in Australia How much does this read to ramp to ramp defense concerned you for rock bird? Well, I think Miles Garrett should scare the hell out of everybody especially that last video That's been floating around with him learning how to hit people harder That's what we need Miles Garrett to learn to do Um, so yeah look it should be terrifying. This is also an enormous travel ask of these teams too I mean this is this a very long travel to get for not a proches Yeah, and and I don't think we really know a how the field plays right We've seen that when they go to Mexico right? There's all these other circumstances. We don't want to feel this like we don't know What the travel toll is going to take on these teams which is the better approach that they have There's so much unknown what you do is you the top guys you drafted You start them you don't overthink it. You're gonna start puka. You're gonna start Adams You're gonna start Stafford probably in this one too and on the 49er side same thing I think kiddles the one guy that you know the long plane ride the injury all that stuff It's a little dicey for me. I think if you have I'll tell you what if you have a lineup
You really like and you're worried about kiddle. I got like a joan johnson. I think it's a very viable pivot So I I went through my ranking is again on Tuesday morning and that's where I settled I settled with kiddle just outside. I think he's at 14 John Johnson ahead of him guys like that. I think it's fair. I think I think it is interesting though the two diverse Approaches with San Francisco showing up well in advance the Rams going in the day before because they had success with that Blind from Baltimore to the London last year. I think this is a longer flight by about five or six hours But but we'll see how it goes and I think I read something to Early Tuesday. It was interesting. You like we may not understand the true value of what the travel plans were Until week two this may be more of a setting something up for week two So a very interesting stuff there. I do love this game. I'm excited to watch it But but but Christian McCaffrey. I mean you're not sitting them, but you lower is sealing against this defensive front I'm gonna say no But at the same time, you know, it is something that it does give you pause
I think everything with the Rams defense now is gonna give us all pause as it should I think they've earned that on paper However, like it's not like you're ever taking Christian McCaffrey out of your lineup So it doesn't matter you might want to look at then if you look at your flex position And maybe that is like when you want to go to a pivot to a QJ or somebody like that's got a little bit more You know bang for your buck potentially because there is that world where the 49ers could struggle with the past rush But the Rams are gonna put out there and the new toys a corner that they have and all the improvements that they made year over year at defense So there's certainly that range of outcomes, but Again, it's not gonna affect your starting McCaffrey so all it can do is affect maybe what you do at the flex position to kind of counteract it Denver Broncos rat Kansas City from Monday night football quite as Not as imposing statistically as Seattle or Houston, but but arrowhead on a Monday night is not a great spot Playing uh Kansas City allowed to 19.3 points per game last season six best and and football bone next coming off another great fantasy season Is he someone you're willing to stream against can you city or are you looking elsewhere? I'm willing to stream against Kansas City look
I believe in the Broncos there might pick right out of the AFC this year I just think that they like they were a bonix injury away from going there last year I firmly believe that not as a Patriots fan that was very happy to see my team in the Super Bowl I still believe that if bone x played that the Denver Broncos would be the ones going to the Super Bowl last year I do think bone x is streamable. I am I think RJ Harvey's another guy. It is very flexworthy this week too We've seen in the limited time they on the field together It does look like we're right back to where we were which is hey they're gonna throw the ball and run these you know These patterns out there run wheels to RJ Harvey and he's gonna score touchdowns and because you have waddle now to deal without the slot It's so easy to scheme those wheel routes and those things in the flat four RJ Harvey to be successful at another layer To this offense that it didn't have last year with waddle that I do think makes them much more formidable for even a good defense like the chiefs Is there a bronco who's volume is strong enough that you have to ignore the opponent? I feel like there's not for me. It feels like like I don't know that there's anyone with the trust worthy enough volume
That I must that I must play well you're gonna play the guys you've got yet not yet But I think waddle could develop that over time but not yet. I would agree We'll see what goes on the backfield of last game We're gonna cover here is one that could have been in either category the best matchup or the worst matchup We're going with the worst side and that's Washington's side of the going against Philadelphia Philadelphia is the kind of easier this one Philadelphia if it is top five it's going to be best last season Legitim argument that the defense could be even better this year Rough week one draw for Jane Daniels and company His legs give him a fantasy escape hatch does that make him essentially match up proof or do you have concerns in this game? I think that hatch has got to be open all game because I'm really worried without tonsil Look what's always the strength of that defense right? What's the strength of that defense? It's that front Yeah, so enough Eagles That is a mismatch as far as I'm concerned so Jane Daniels really needs to protect himself I would be very skeptical starting those running backs this week I think it's a bad spot. I think it's gonna be a lot of third and longs now Like that's not a bad thing for Jane Daniels fantasy productivity. He could connect on some of those
He's got digs. He's got Terry McClurene He's got Chica Conco who I'm fascinated to see how he operates in this offense to considering how much we've seen Jane Daniels Love the tight end historically in the early career in the NFL But it is a dangerous matchup for Jane Daniels. I would knock him outside the top five this week at QB because of it I'm just concerned of you know those third and long situations. You got to convert all that stuff plus like that front is really dangerous You got to apply we are just heard a week ago Nikki jahabla from the athletic called it inoperable No, no, it's not ready as the center and also beat up so so yeah, there's issues there all along the way Is there if you have you you have let's say you have both for shot white and jacquard cross-gameric archive bill who are you starting? Uh, is there a C? I like to start C. I just I don't know Yes, Ken again well is the answer I think I think I think that's right. I think that's I think it's what it has to be bought because Because I don't think it's going to be a very favorable matchup for them
And I because it's still an unknown rotation like where's the appeal bad matchup You don't know who's really going to get the lion's share of things like if anything or I think I might favor a shot white Just because of the experience factor against this front that that's the only thing that I could possibly say All right, we run through the matchups.
