I think that he wanted to clarify like chill. Like this is not going to be another album. It's going to be a live stream with whatever visuals and music's attached.

10:09But I think the expectations were for something bigger than what it actually is. And as a Drake fan, I'm fine with that. You know what I mean? He gave three albums. And you also got a full blown like sort of movie bro for Iceman. Remember that night, right? You had all the music videos compiled into one that was narrative building within the the album. And I think that he realized the fans love that and that didn't happen for made up on her BFT because those were extra projects on the side. People weren't expecting it. They really focused on all the production for Iceman. People move to a good way to get the numbers back up for made of honor and a BFT. Even though I don't like those albums. I think it's cool fan service, bro. And I feel like in comparison to the life streams you were getting prior to the Iceman release versus that one production quality has been up. At least the last that I remember in the month of May, I haven't watched those videos in a minute. But I felt like I was impressed in that moment. So for him to just do the whole same thing over again and not give us anything new aside from visuals, I think is impossible, bro. So to that point, I'm predicting that he has at least one, two or three songs that he plays, releases or previews.

But I don't think like if you're going to do a whole motion film, that's what you're dropping and like why drop it for nothing, you know, that's also he called it a not so short film like short films are usually like 10 minutes, 20 minutes. Like you're not going to have an hour worth of just music videos. And like you said, he's never done this before where you have a livestream and there is no new music previewed. 18:26on in the industry is saying that Janay Eikos song is the only Kendrick feature that you're really getting this month. Teasing that like, we might just be in for ad-libs on the AZ Chike album. No, don't give me ad-libs, bro. I don't think so based on what T-REL said and how close he is to the camp so you can go into a new. Okay. So T-REL came out and said that he was going to be calling out the entire industry ad. Maybe not directly. This, everyone that this Tim, that's what he said. Exactly. So you would have probably gotten words. That's what he heard from the camp. Now academics comes out and said that he's hearing that there's not even a Kendrick fucking verse, bro. And apparently he removed it after T-REL ended up leaking that. So I don't know like the timelines are a bit confusing. T-REL saying one thing, academics is saying another thing after that, like you got apparently the confirmed feature and like AZ Chike said that there was a collaboration on this album. So are you going to do all this just to tease some ad-libs? Like what are you really getting out of this? And there was also a word that a song on this trike album was actually a song that was made for the GNX album that he ended up taking over.

19:29So what does that mean? Like the Kendrick not have a verse in that song that they erase that verse and turn it into a trike song. I don't know, but at this point you did this huge tease with the Kendrick photo in the studio. People are not going to be happy, bro. If you just on ad-libs, people are not going to be pleased whatsoever. And respectfully to AZ Chike, like you know, I'm down to going to the new studio album. Let's see, bro. He's someone that's been getting obviously the co-signs from Kendrick, the co-signs from Tyler. Like they're really propping him up to be obviously the next guy that should carry the sound of the West Coast alongside those guys. And it's like, I'm still going into that album primarily for the Kendrick. Yeah. And then obviously like I'm going to pay attention to the album. If there's bangers, I'm down. I want to see what he's able to do. But the biggest sell of this whole fucking rollout has been the Kendrick collaboration. So that's where I'm at. I'm not sure. But this is classic Kendrick, bro. All right. Conflicting reports. Yeah. What's going to happen? Love it. This guy's missing him. He's not missing anyone. No, he's just going to have a bit of vocals. No, he just worked on the album.

Like I can't get on stream for you guys with Lewin. Just fucking dance for you guys because while it's Kendrick and I got to keep my face, bro, like it's not a good fucking verse, bro. There's nothing redeemable. Wiggle with wiggle with wiggle it. And I agree with you, Lewin, in the sense that obviously a guy could try to diversify and go into something.

21:30I mean, it worked for him with a song like Luther, right? So like, why wouldn't he attempt and try it again? But bro, you're such, you're literally one of the greatest rappers ever. Like why are the last three, four, five features that you dropped like you singing, bro? Like, it doesn't really work. So I totally agree. I mean, I get the sight of it that you were saying, Antwo, it's like, oh, it's not fair to say that. I get it. But bro, when it's becoming a volume thing of you're doing that more than you are rapping and you're one of the greatest to rap, it's a bit of a big deal. And it's just a quality control thing too. Like he's had some pretty decent melodic performances, right? All the way back to the beginning of his career, him singing some of his own hooks. It's been there. Like he's shown that he's able to do it. It's just like, no when a verse or a hook or a refrain, whatever it is, actually sounds fucking good. Like have just that quality control in your features, in your own music. And I feel like as of late, he's just been more, more loose with it. And when I mean loose with it, I mean in his features overall, bro. Like even his features on music from last year, weren't that impressive?

22:34Like it's been this whole like last 365 of underwhelming Kendrick features. And I think it's a curation thing. Like you said, right? It's like you don't want to like your Kendrick adlibs on a cardi album. Like why is Kendrick doing adlibs on a song? Like that's not, you know what I mean? Or him being on these melodic features. Like I do think as fucking great as Kendrick is the curation, whether it's his decision or the people around him has been very poor, very, very poor. And we're seeing it, like you said, just from the output. So, and I think it's just about him like wanting to, you know, keep up his appearances and like, be still at the center of attention while he's not dropping it out. I think that's what it comes down to. So like he's a type of artist that's always going to get feature requests. And he's probably just saying yes to way more than he typically would. But why you're the same guy that disappears for five years and comes out and drops a fucking plastic album. But to be fair though, a lot of the albums that he did collaborate on were on huge moments, right? Like Junae Ike was returned this weekend.

23:34It's been a huge topic of conversation. She hasn't dropped the studio album in six years. Obviously someone that's very closely tied into the West Coast. So I think it makes sense for him to appear on the albums. I think it's the approach that's kind of like, okay, we got to do something different here. You know, because it's not to say that everything's been bad. You guys got chains in the lips last year. So it's like if that's the type of level and quality you could perform on and you know that chains and whips in comparison to this is going to have a lot more steam. It's obviously going to be a lot more remembered and it's going to put you in a lot of different conversations. I don't know. Maybe he's just having fun with it. But I'm as a listener purely as an unbiased listener, it doesn't sound good. It doesn't sound good. I don't think it's completely lost. But like the whole thing of like, you know, you got to write off for Kato because you guys said he's the greatest knob, bro. Like you're allowed to criticize your favorite artist when you want to, bro. It is what it is. Like that's the sport, bro. That's the fun of the game. That's it. And then it comes down to like, oh, well, you just don't understand it. You don't understand him as an artist, brother. Let's give it a guy for fucking 16 years now. I think that's the, the other thing that causes a lot of debate is everyone's trying to be like, you're wrong and I'm right. But bro, it's all subjective. Like if you like the verse, enjoy it. I don't happen to like the verse. So I will not be playing it. You know, I think it's as simple as that. And it's true because there are some people that love the Kendrick feature. I just think it's a bit hypocritical, right? Because at the same time, like often like the Kendrick stands will really try to attack Drake for those types of like loose performances that they're kind of like Luster, bro, or like for example, I remember the Shabagging thing when he was using the nursery rhyme flow. Like if you really break it down, what's the difference between that and this Kendrick feature? I'm sorry. Like some of those performances as lackluster as Drake has been with them. Like that's a lackluster feature, bro. That's not a good feature. And they're very different in sound. But I get what you're saying. Yeah. But the thing is that I feel like Kendrick gets hold gets held on such a high pedestal for a great reason, right?

25:36Like one of the greatest rappers of all time. But at the same time when he drops a feature like that and then you have another goat like Drake that drops a feature like that or that drops a song that's lackluster, you've got to hold them both accountable. And I feel like what they're going to have to do is maybe like play around the takeoff versus I feel like that's the smartest thing to do is like he's not going to be able to find you guys where you're at, you know, creatively. So hopefully there's some old songs where you guys actually created it together or you're going to kind of build your versus and your hooks around what take off left behind and kind of use that as a springboard. I feel like that would be the best thing to do. But it always becomes tricky when you have like a posh miss release. But imagine doing it within the context of a white room and kind of making a game out of actually the project. People pulling out their raps on their phones and fucking. It's cool. Yeah. I mean, listen, the only challenge from like our point of view just so that people understand is obviously to shoot those videos. It takes a lot of fucking preparation, even a lot of editing and shit post production. And obviously rap being something that is very relevant in the moment. It's like you don't want to drop something like that two, three weeks later. So I think that's the biggest challenge in hurdle. But if we could fucking find the curve and solution around that, I think that weekend what we'd probably have to do is get ready to be in a location where it's accessible for people or people come in and we put out, we put out like sort of like our vetting

39:54process before obviously. And then bro, we record it and like it gets edited like on the spot when it comes out. I think that's the like because to your point like you don't want to drop in two to three weeks after after it's irrelevant or another cool fucking approach to because again, I still don't see it as being that realistic, but something else that could be cool is bro, going in the streets of Montreal, going up to people and telling them to pull out their Spotify wrapped on the day Spotify wrapped. So what I did was is that I was listening to the albums, right? And like I wasn't treating it like album reviews because there was a good 15 to 20 albums we had to listen to.
