It's the tip of the spare in the epic battle to defend the United States of America. The National Security Hour exposes the wolves and sheep clothing and then a various plots to undermine and destroy US national security. Welcome to the National Security Hour on the America Out Loud Network. I'm your host Blankita Colum. Funny thing with the timing and how people's personalities changed, what are you talking about PQ? Well, during this past 9-11 weekend and week that we experienced, I was noticing a lot commentary from a guy that I actually used to be in this program many, many years ago, Bill Mar, politically incorrect back in the day.

And he was a very outspoken liberal and wanted to take anybody down that did not agree with him. But interestingly enough, I've been following a lot of his commentary lately and he's become a lot more, I would say, centrist. And he talks now about his thoughts on what happened in this commemoration of 9-11 and he said that the current generation has a moral confusion. They don't want to talk about radical Islamism versus Western liberalism, meaning talking about freedom of religion, women's rights or homosexual freedom because it's changes when they say he said that they compare now Osama bin Laden to a liberal version of Luigi Manjioni in a turbine. It's crazy. He says it's all flipped around. Well, I'm going to get on my wonderful friend Scott Faulkner.

Scott Faulkner has done a lot of writings as recently about these issues of what's happening in the Straits of Promoos, Saudi Arabia, 9-11. And he has been around for a long time as advised governments on leadership, wrote this incredible book, The Naked But Naked Emperors. He was the first chief administrative officer of the House of Representatives and he writes for a lot of outlets, including the New York Daily News, Newsmax, Washington Times, a lot of the outlets that you like to read and I like to read in Scott. You heard me welcome to this interesting come to pass with Bill Maher and his consideration of how he even mentioned to this, someone spelled this one out, she said that there were four media outlets that said that they're on air personalities should not be using the word terrorism unless it's used in quotes.

What do you make of all of this? It's stunning and appalling. The issue is that we are in a death grip with radical Islam and really mainstream Islam and certainly as they are colonizing and expanding in America and in the Western general and to not understand that the Quran says it's okay to lie, it's infidel and also it's okay to kill anyone, not of the faith, although you can give them the option to convert and become a slave and people need to understand that this is not a typical Cold War battle. These people literally want to annihilate us in every fiber of their being and every aspect of our current existence. You know it's interesting because having been through 9-11 in front of the Pentagon, I talked about it last week and you know trading my car for a pair of shoes so I could

run in and cross over the key bridge through Georgetown to my studio in 15th and L and seeing the tanks surrounding the buildings and trying to calm one of my colleagues down so that we could talk and discuss what was going on so that the country could hear the facts and not hear too out of control broadcasters. It's surprising to me that and we saw people from outpourings, people weren't right left, they weren't Catholic, Jewish, Christian, white, black, they were Americans but now there's a turn here. It's some people are suggesting that we asked for it. It was our fault. You know that this was not something that should be looked at as similar to Pearl Harbor. It was a war that we saw happen on our own turf and but for the bravery of the flight that landed in the field in 93, it could have gone into the White House. There were a lot of courageous people but now we are, some people are afraid to relay

what really happened so we don't hurt a certain group of people. It's confusing to me and disrespectful. It's scary, it's downright scary and a number of commentators going back many years now say that what happened on 9-11 was not because it's something we did but was because who we are. That gets to the fundamental struggle that we are seeing worldwide between Islam that has always been a conquering religion in the West. It's always been an accepting hope and our acceptance has opened the door for colonization in many European countries and this country. I mean the number of mosques in America has doubled. It's 9-11 and most of these mosques, I mean when people think over another church it's a Methodist, it's a Congregationalist, somebody you know, these are not passive elements that are expanding our community. These are places where radical imans are issuing thought-laws against the West that they

are setting up not just Bible schools like we have in Protestant and ethnic religions but Madrasas that are there to promote radical Islam primarily based on the haubism that we put in the bodies. And so again that haubism is the one that destroys women's rights. What you know, is that getting back to what we were talking about terminology. We can't, people are so afraid are using this and I think they're using the goodness of the country against itself and that we don't, Americans like bullies, we don't like bigots, we saw how, you know, we came through the race riots in the 1960s and try to give civil rights back and we're concerned if somebody is approached that may not be from this country

that they're treated with respect but we seem to have that being used against us and really analyzing situations. Are the people being picked? Are they with a cartel? Are they involved in human trafficking? Are they plotting the demise of some industry or some person have, you know, we don't go deep enough and where it seems like if we do go too deep and we ask the questions, we're immediately have a label placed on us as a bigot, as a racist, as an anti-feminist, as an anti-trans person, as an anti this, as an anti that is a bad person. And the question still remains, how do we get to the truth if we can't investigate and why do we have such a short memory and why are we so ready to point the finger to the people whose lives were taken? I mean, I look at that scene and I'm so glad the camera was on during the 9-11 broadcast from New York when you had mandami and AOC laughing as the names of the dead were being

called and man is very close to them sobbing and they found something funny. What could be so funny that they didn't have enough respect to control themselves? Because they hate America, they hate the West, they hate Christianity, they hate certainly Judaism and they are, I mean they're anti-Semitic and these are, I mean, we saw a couple years ago on Columbia University and other campuses, literally blocking Jewish students from attending classes. You know, we have a really, and you can't even under, under play a scary, scary situation right now where more people, it isn't just about lack of memory, it's about warping that memory, it's about exploiting that vision of that memory and these people truly want the West to die. They truly want anyone who is not Islamic and even Wahabi Islamic to be obliterated from

face to the earth and that is their goal and they are playing the long game, they're colonizing America as we speak. You have Sharia law neighborhoods in parts of Detroit. You have that, you know, a Sharia law, aided community trying to be built outside of Dallas and they are trying to take the First Amendment and freedom of religion right up to the point where they become not just a majority but even plurality and start going about can't eat pork, can't walk a dog, can't have a bell, a carrillion bells or churches. Here's the question I have for you. I mean, I hear what you're saying and I'm old enough and have been around long enough time and have had to see that change. But how is it that we will have more concern about putting things in quotes instead of actually finding out what's going on is that the in the past we only had a few stations where we had ABC and BC, CBS, CNN, you know, we had real networks instead of having to rely

mostly on social media and on computer driven programming. Is it because we are people are focusing more on the information they're getting off their phones, they don't read newspapers, we don't we have a different level of discussion as it because it's become more global or controlled or propagandized because I don't see this would have happened even maybe 15 years ago. But Sharia is in talking to a lot of friends who are in our age bracket with baby boomers that some are so depressed with the current news and situation. If stopped watching news, we had one person who's been a friend of my wife since the 80s and she said she'll watch local news, but she no longer watches any national international news. People are opting out as part of a way of removing or lowering anxiety. The problem is is that's exactly what the other side's banking.

Well, the problem is is that it's, you know, is it incumbent upon us to have our different kinds of discussions back in the 90s, early 2000s, you have the rise of talk radio that was driven by guys like Rush Limbaugh and others. But now people listen to more podcasts. That's why I do this podcast on this network, the America Out Loud Network. But even talk television has become like what talk radio used to be formatted by as opposed to giving facts. They want to make it more, I don't know, outrageous as opposed to, you know, having a 60 minutes or some of the programs they had that were very famous for decades, the concept has changed and the way that it's delivered has changed. Your thoughts? Very much so. I mean, we're old enough to remember the today show, Frank Blair would begin at the top

of the hour and they said, the news won't be read by Frank Blair. Read by it. Not, and so the whole issue of objective and parting of facts, I mean, right now, except for sports scores, current weather and traffic reports, there's nothing else you can really trust to be that won't be tailored to somebody's agenda. And even sports is changing. I mean, I look at poor Caitlin and the world. I'm saying sports, I'm saying sports. I'm saying sports. I'm saying sports. That poor young woman, I mean, good grief. She's going into a battle zone has a lot of courage. Honestly, she does. Well, yeah, I was just saying sports. Yeah, sports has gotten totally radicalized as well. I mean, it's scary because the filters are out there and most of them are Islamic filters and most of them are left wing and even communist filters. And that's scary as hell. And the thing I would recommend to a lot of people that goes back to old rock and roll radio, you're going to think it's crazy.

But when I started radio many, many years ago, and one of the things that was important is that people got to know who their mayor was, their city council, the head of the schools, the school boards, the state representatives, the governor, all of them, they go to city council meetings. I mean, there was a group of women in San Antonio. They were so great. They were called Las Guarudas and Spanish, that means the hat ladies. They were like Madame LaFarge. And they would sit there on Thursdays and they would attend the city council meetings and they would sit there and take their knitting. And they'd listen to everyone that would speak and then they would go make sure that they allowed themselves to have appointments with different members of the city council regarding issues that were going to affect the city of San Antonio. And they were very powerful women. They were just regular housewives. But they would attend every Thursday. And people, as a matter of fact, would make sure that they attended so that they could participate.

And a lot of them were brought over this because they wanted to see the hat ladies. I would, I would venture if most people were, if you ask the majority of people in the audience, myself included, what day are the city council meetings held in your town, in your city? Have you ever attended? Do you know who your member of the city council is? Who's your mayor? Because the mayor and the city council, well, they're supposed to be non-political. They're not supposed to be right or left. They can be a Democrat Republican. Your thoughts? Yeah. Well, that's the thing is that they are technically non-partisan. But, you know, in the 13,500 school districts in this country, most of them are taken over by highly left-wing, highly motivated left-wing people. I mean, locally, I live in Harpest, Ferry. So I'm in the most Republican county in the most Republican state in America. And our entire school board is made up of left-wing activists.

And they have restored three election cycles because the non-partisan people have never been able to put together a slate against them effectively. So they get to keep getting reelected and reelected. And it's just absolutely nuts. And so what they put forward as a left-wing agenda and promote left-wing icons and content. And people think that they're just about it, but nothing happens. And this is, again, the most Republican county in the most Republican state in America. And we have nothing but left-wing school board members. We're talking with our guests, Scott Faulkner. And he's really something else. I mean, he has been around and involved in politics for a number of years. And as I mentioned, one of the things where I first met him, he was the chief administrative officer of the U.S. House of Representatives. And he also served on the White House staff.

He's held executive positions with the Federal Aviation Administration, General Services Administration, the Peace Corps. And he was a global practice leader for the American Management Association. And he's just done a number of things. We're going to talk about all those things and what's going on right now on the Straits of Hermuz, what's going on with Russia and China and more. So stay with us. This is the National Security Hour. I'm Blankita Kulom. During treatment, the structure of tap water gets messed up. Yes, we have to purify water, but what are we doing to fix the water structure so the body can actually absorb it? That is why we created our lab-certified structured water devices. These devices restore water molecules back to their natural structure just like a mountain stream, making them highly absorbable. It's not how much you drink. That's how much you absorb that counts. I exercised a to healthy diet and had no symptoms when a routine mammogram resulted in a cancer diagnosis. It revealed a hard truth. Even healthy people can get cancer and much of modern medicine is reactive, not preventative. So I began asking a different question. What can we do daily to support the body before something goes wrong? That question led me to formulate shield. Well, to DC Google, quietly updated its AI principles, removing its pledge not to use AI for weapons or surveillance. They promised they agreed to in 2018. But American people have seen Google's track record prompt in the question, is Google and untrustworthy player in the AI race?

Now is our time, my fellow Americans, America out loud dot news, liberty, and justice for all. Welcome back to the National Security Hour. We're going to be talking about a lot of interesting stuff you need to know, national security issues. Our relationship with Russia, China, the Middle East, what's going on, the Straits of Hormuz, what are we doing right now with Russian? In fact, Xi Jinping is going to be coming to the United States very soon in the next week. We're going to discuss that with my guest, Scott Fockner, and he knows all about everything. Honestly, when I want to know what's happening politically, I pick him up and say, explain it to me. It's like, explain it to me, Desi. He was the first chief administrative officer of the House of Representatives. He's held executive positions for a number of agencies like the FAA and the Peace Corps.

He's a great writer. I'm sure that many of you have seen a lot of his articles. He writes very frequently for Newsmax, and he wrote a book called The Naked Empress, and it's still in print. I mean, that's what's so great. People can still get it and you want to get it. You and I were talking about you. You sent me a quote, and I have to share this with you because I thought it was pretty powerful. You asked the question, whose side is he on? President Trump, Mr. Zelensky has to do one thing. He has to stop knocking out diesel fuel in Russia. Let him go after other targets, but not diesel fuel because he's causing a shortage of diesel fuel. This isn't done by the Middle East. This is being done by what's happening in Russia and Ukraine. So why do you ask whose side is he on? Because we should be helping Ukraine in every way, shape or manner, to blow the face off every part of the Russian military establishment. Those diesel pipelines, 40% have been disabled now by the drones by Ukraine.

All those diesel pipelines are not going for export, not going for, except for a few gas stations in Russia. They're all going to fuel depots, fuel detanks, and the armored vehicles, and the planes, and everything else that Russia is using to kill civilians in the Ukraine and pushing their claims, false claims that they own Donbass and other parts of Ukraine. So it'd be like FDR telling, you know, Churchill stopped bombing depots in Germany. I mean, this is war. I don't disagree with you. I think you're exactly right. But the question I have is, do you have somehow have a foot in that camp that we're not aware of? I mean, somebody was telling me when I was coming in here, they said, be cute. You know, there was some billionaire that footed the bill for the son, for Trump's son, who got married. That's true. That's true.

And you think, you know, they can't be that, I want to say ignorant of what's going on. They can't have their eyes averted to know that that's something that people are going to say, what, why did he do that? It's not like they don't have enough money. He can't put his own bill for his own wedding. What happened there? Why do you think that that even got, I mean, that's a shocking. It, the whole thing here is that we have, there are many good reasons to have a businessman in the White House. When a person thinks about global struggle against tyranny, against communism, against Islam, and thinks that only in a transactional way, we have a problem that the deal is not, could not be a deal when we are, when our role should really be victory over Russia, victory over over China, victory over North Korea, victory over Islam, victory over, victory over

Iran, these things, and again, when you look at, you know, back, back during the Reagan years when we were both very active, you know, we had the, we were arming all sorts of insurgent groups around the world to turn the Soviet empire back, and it helped weaken the Soviets, whether it was Afghanistan, the Caribbean, Africa, and other places to the point where it collapsed. And that's what we should be doing, we should not be meeting with China. Well, there's a question I have because we're going to go to that in a minute. You know, it helps to have someone in there that has as much, shall we say, business savvy and reported success as Mr. Trump. Okay, that's, that's great. But and you want people to have a vast amount of experience in whatever element of their success applies to their role in the government, whether it's in broadcasting, whether it's in commerce, whether it's in medicine, whatever. The question though is when you go in and you take the oath, because we all take a

oath when we're Senate confirmed, and you have to recognize that everything you're going to do is going to be under the scrutiny and the eyes of not just the American people in the press, but you make a deal when you go in there to serve. So the question I have is, you know, should there be a better standard that they understand, that they need to have everything on the table, that they can't be making deals? I mean, that's a lot of the criticism from members of Congress that go in with nothing and come out millionaires. I mean, should there be some new ethical standard set for not only the president, but the people that serve the president, the members of the Congress, et cetera, that they don't get money, they don't get rich at the expense of our national security and the American people. Mark Levin had a fantastic Saturday night opening where he talked about the oath of office that you're right. You know, when we took those oaths in the executive branch, I took those oaths in the legislative

branch. We take everybody, even at the state and local level, take some version of that oath, and he's saying the oath is now meaningless because we have people like the Attorney General in Minnesota who took the oath with his hand on the Kuran. And we have people who, if they win in November, are going to go into Congress and take the oath, and they are already on record wanting to get rid of the electoral college, get rid of the Senate, some of them may even be in the Senate, destroy and undermine the Supreme Court. And we're looking at those guys, even the guys that you think about that are not doing that. They're utilizing the positions to gain power and to be able to have people who can benefit them by business deals, by access. They're using that elected position for power, the basis of power.

And the thing of it is, we got to figure out a way to stop that. Oh, absolutely. I mean, when you look at, and there's been analyses over the last couple of years of the net worth of members of Congress and of the Senate on their first day of office and their net worth today, and most of them are going to 10, 20, even 100 fold. And if you don't become a multi-millionaire off of $150,000 a year federal salary, unless you're doing something else, whether it's insider trading, whether it's under the table of bribes, whatever it is. And it's scary again, because public trust in our institutions is another fundamental part of keeping our government viable and our republic viable. And if we basically figure that everybody's just getting elected to line their pockets, we've got a problem. And when I first moved here, I was impressed to find out, because these members of the

Congress, they have to have an office here in Washington. They have to have a staff here, but they have to have a staff also in their home districts. And many of them try to go back every week or every other week back to their districts to meet with their people. So consequently, it's expensive living here. And it's expensive if you've got a family. Some of those guys sleep in their office, work out in the gym and shower in the gym. They're not arrogant. Some have roommates. Some but some, all of a sudden, they live pretty lavishly. And they stay there until, you know, like some members of Congress, they can't even recognize their staff, the face of their staff members. I think that was Ellen and her home's not in right now. Yeah. And McConnell, we're is he? Exactly. Now, again, it's the whole thing is, you know, what we are facing and this election is definitely a crossroads election on every front imaginable. You have, I mean, the one, you have the one group that just basically are coming in for

ego and for, for basically pillage, but then you have the other group coming in to basically destroy everything America is and everything our republic is. So you've got a real, I mean, how many real patriots, how many people who really are committed to public service and to keep embracing and furthering and strengthening our republic and our, and the civic culture that is the foundational aspects of that culture. How many of them really are planning to do that? It's probably a handful and that scares me. You know, I, I've talked about this different times on this program as the MC for the National Memorial Day Parade. And people will always ask me, I mean, I had this asked just the other day, do you think that we would ever see people rise up and be loyal to this country again? One of the things that makes it like a greatest generation from World War II. And when I think about taking phone calls from people on 9-11 and people calling me that

were old veterans that had been World War II saying they wanted to do to reenlist if they could or veterans from, from Vietnam saying they were going to try to do what they could. And people became block captains because they cared about this country. I think we're in a situation where it what has transpired and you tell me, if you agree with me or not, we become confused as to quote Bill Maureen again, there's a moral confusion of what is right and what is wrong. Who are good people and who are bad people? We lump people in as we say, well, we don't want to offend anybody. We can't really say anything. Well, it doesn't, we don't have to offend anybody. Are they decent? Are they law abiding? Are they not trying to abuse people? Are they not trying to sell them drugs? Are not trying to include them in human trafficking? They don't want to ruin their ability to earn a living or to have a freedom of religion and freedom of speech and civil rights, but there is a moral confusion.

So how does that get fixed, Scott? Well, first we need to at least see one glimmer of hope. On every day, there are Americans who in the goodness of their heart, in the strength of their patriotism and commitment to this country, are volunteering to be in our military, are volunteering to be first responders, are volunteering to be carts of the front line within Homeland Security. And so there is still something out there in the upbringing of those individuals who inspire them to serve their nation or their community and to put their lives at risk. But we need to figure out how do we, in essence, bottle that and distribute that to a broader audience, because clearly whether that's faith, whether it's family, whether it's a good school, whether that be public or homeschooling, that there's clearly still a percentage of people coming up line who are willing to commit themselves in some cases, heart and soul

and life, or the furtherance of our country. And we need to figure out how do we replicate that? I think, you know, it's interesting because you think, well, maybe we should do that through the media, right? And people say, well, you know, I don't know. We have to make sure that we have to have a certain amount of people that are from this part of society and that part of society. And God help you. You can't have a person who like yet, Tom Hanks apologizing for the role that he played in the Philadelphia story when he played a gay man. He said, only gay man should play a gay man. They're actors for God's sake. That's what they do. Also, how many gay gay men play straight? And I don't care. The funny thing is, are they good actors? Are they any good? I mean, I don't care what role they're playing. That's the reason they have that profession. And but the question is, right now in Hollywood, they're losing a lot of their base. People worried that Paramount's going to take off and leave Hollywood.

And Netflix was being challenged by what's the Senator Scott Holly? Is this last name? On the content that they have towards young people? Why can't we just have some fun, good, wonderful programming? They've just done a movie about Jimmy Stewart's life. And his role went into the military, served in World War II. He became a general. Right now we have to have an element added into almost all of the programming that is so controversial that you can't go into a film and just feel good anymore. You can't come out and say, the good guy won. The good person won. The family took over. That was great. Why? Because is it, you know, we feel that there's a certain element of this population that might be offended? Well, do you think the other element of the population might be offended because they're not represented too? Well, there's several things. First of all, again, Glimmer of Hope, if anyone has, has the Paramount station, watch

the lioness. It's on to its third season right now. It is very patriotic. And there are parts of it where it talks about the Chinese influence of this country, how Hamas. I mean, it's the opening episode with a battle in the Ukraine with all the drones. I mean, it is a well done series. It has a very diverse cast. One of the main characters is an African-American woman. But it is 100% Nicole Kidman is like one of the top CIA people. It is a very patriotic, very pro-Homeland security, very much every episode exposes some aspect of what Russia is doing, Iran is doing, the Islamics are doing, and the Chinese are doing. So it's a real revelatory series. And I think the key is, is where there's a lot of ideology in Hollywood and elsewhere. At some point, money matters. If you start to have shows like lioness getting to be a hit and getting tons of views and

getting lots of social media following, they'll make more of those. Right. So that's one, so at some point capitalism does work in our favor. Right. That's correct. And again, I've talked about this on the program. Back when I was a governor overseeing a voice of America and radio for Europe and a number of our entities. The Persian service that broadcast into Iran, they would ask a lot of the listeners would say, could you please do a series on the American Revolution? Because we want to know exactly how young people were able to be so successful and be able to get the country that they wanted with these young revolutionary leaders like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Madison, all of those. And unfortunately, we were not able to do that. And I feel very bad about that because it still haunts me to the state because I think it would have made a difference.

Now people are in controversy. In fact, one of our mutual friends who shall remain nameless is saying that there are elements of revolution going on right now in Iran. Do you believe that to be true? I do. I think that there's, I mean, maybe it's still isolated. It seems to be mostly in the south-eastern part of the country, but it just has to start somewhere. I mean, remember, our revolution started in Boston and then spread. So one hopes that whether it is our CIA, whether it is Assad, with the Israelis, or whether it is, yeah, Assad's son and some of the actually a very large diverse coalition of opposition forces are finally starting to take charge. I mean, we will see them. And clearly, revolutions can be still born with seen too. False starts already in Iran, including, you know, he should be forever shamed when Obama refused to help the green revolution in 2009.

We could have had all this over then. So it's, we shall see, but I mean, this gets back again to the way we're doing a transactional war in Iran. That thought, because we got to take break. That's what happens with us. We get the jocke and we get a little break here on really, on the national security hour, so much more to discuss. I'm Blanket the Column with Scott Fogner. Welcome to the National Security Hour on the America Out loud network. Yes, we practice a lot of freedom of speech on this show. I'm your host, Lankita Kullum, my guest, the great Scott Flockner. Scott, are you planning to write another book any time here soon that we're going to be

able to read? You've been so busy. I'm halfway through my memoir, Dealing with My Year's Reagan, which goes all the way back to 75. I just have so many things on my plate that I love to be able to take a six month hiatus and finish the book. Well, that'd be wonderful, but you're writing a lot of articles and for Newsmax and for so many other outlets and that makes me happy. I was talking to you about your statement about Zelensky. I have to stop knocking out the diesel fuel in Russia. But right now, we're looking at what's going on in the Straits of Hormuz, and I was reading about the hooties, are moving to tighten their hole on this little island that's called Bab-El-Mandeb, and it's a strait. And they're fighting to control the government of Yemen and expand their political and religious power, which they get oil money from them. They're backed by Iran with money from weapons and other things.

And they, I guess, what is there? Iran's biggest ally, though, is not just the hooties. It's also Hezbollah. Oh, absolutely. And of course, Hormuz. And even Nelkida, which has actually got a still-has-enviable operation in Iraq, which is where their missiles disabled part of the Saudi pipeline. So the boats of the Pritznovs pass so the speakers go around. But the whole issue with the hooties, I mean, if they take that rock and fortify it, I mean, they could close the entrance to the Suez Canal, because that's the very southern tip of the Red Sea. And so at that point, you basically have severed the world in half. If you cannot move into the Persian Gulf or move into the Red Sea to the Suez, all of this sudden, everyone has to go around the tip of Africa or the North America. And that is nuts. And unfortunately, I mean, the Saudis have been fighting the hootie insurgents for many years.

And for some reason, been very ineffectual, I think. Why do they think that? Because they have, I mean, it's, I've been to Saudi Arabia. I've been to Duhran with the oil, yes. I've been all over. And they're, they're big rivals with Iran. They're theologically and politically, you know, against everything they stand for. Yeah, versus Sunni. Yeah. Yeah. So why, why do you think they're, are they going to change that? I mean, is that awesome? I don't, I mean, I, I, I've not really done a deep dive. I think the part of it, the hooties take full advantage of the very mountainous terrain there along the western edge of Yemen. But again, we're back to, they've been on the march now for about a week or so and been moving right down the coast and starting to look at closing up that gap. And they came to Trump and said, you know, help us. And Trump said, Hey, we've given you all the weapons you want. You've wanted to do it yourself. Now I don't know. And, you know, on one front, you know, the, the Trump people can say, Rara, Rara, America first, let other people do what they're supposed to do without us.

And on the other, again, we're into a global struggle against Iran and all the other bad guys. We're into global struggle against Islam. At some point, I mean, we've been like Churchill coming to FDR and FDR saying do it yourself. I mean, at some point, you have to work together against, you know, you have to comprehensively fight comprehensive evil basically. Right. And that makes me think, you know, because we're only as strong as we are as a nation if we do not collapse from inside, which is why it's important to have strong internal national security to be able to know that forces are not working against us. Again, I have that image of Singh Mandami and AOC laughing at 9-11 when this man next in the missabi as they're reading the names. In other words, what, what pain do they feel about events that really were tragic to this country makes me think of something I learned about World War II.

And that World War II, President Roosevelt found out that in Mexico City, because you know, they didn't have television at that time, folks. It was movies and radio. And that when the Mexican, Mexican theaters had movies where they would show the, the reels that covered the news and they would show Adolf Hitler, the audience would cheer. And when they would show FDR, they would boo. So President Roosevelt sent a, I guess an envoy to Monterey, Mexico to meet with the Mexican president and he basically said to him, what's it going to take? Because we're going to win this war and you don't want to be on the wrong side of it. So they eventually, from what I understood, had to send in the Russians to get the Germans out, which they did because it changed. And you know, they had submarine, they had a submarine that was off the coast of California through Mexico. So if we were smart then, we got to get smart now. Well, yeah, well, if you go back, I mean, I'm a big old movie fan and you look at the

Ricardo Montabons and the Caesar Marrows and the, and all the others that many of their careers got launched in the 40s because Hollywood, which at that time was still patriotic, understood that Latin America was on a tipping point. The Germans had invested a lot of effort in places like Uruguay and Argentina and other things. So by creating a whole series of Hispanic stars, Carmen Miranda and all the others. Carmen Miranda and, and you had people like, oh my gosh, I mean, so many, like you said, Roberto Ricardo Montalban, who was married to LaReta Young's sister and Caesar Romero. And you had a lot of Maria Felix, who was big in Mexico, but was also big in the United States. So that was part of, I mean, we know that that culture is another aspect of this battle, and it's a big battle front. And so having a lot of these Hispanic actors and actresses having, having Hispanic locations

down to Rio with other people like, and I was, and I was in the dancers and all that for the stare and all that. I mean, the thing is, it was an important, it was actually a strategic effort to win over Latin American audiences. And today you had a lot of military, a lot of military in the American military who were Medal of Honor winners that were Latinos. Oh, very much so. You know, and we, and going all the way back, in fact, I'll do a show on that because I think it's so fascinating going all the way back to George Washington that were, were Latin's. And but we don't pay attention to that. And the thing that is again, it takes me to the issue. If you paint a broader picture in a sense of propaganda to make people immediately react to the idea or the concept of something that fundamentally we don't like, we don't like bullies, we don't like bigots, we don't like racists.

But if you say, well, they picked up that poor guy and they failed to tell you that that guy was driving a truck that had been picked up several times and arrested for killing people or remaining people, I didn't even know how to read the signs. You know, Latinos don't want that. They don't like drug cartels. They don't like people that are abusing children. Are you kidding me? That's that in itself is racist. That's that's painting a picture that Latinos are, or any cultural segment of life is going to say, well, you know, you're racist. No, if they're a bad person, they're a bad person. Oh, yeah. Well, again, we're back to the issue that tyranny has always tried to undermine America's will. I mean, we go back to the 1930s where the Nazis infiltrated America. We even had Nazi summer camps as part of the North American Boondah movement and huge rallies, including one at the, you know, at the center of the big, big, place in New

York City there, the Central Station, Madison Square Garden. And so it, so that was a minute, literally, minuscule effort, compared to what we're facing right now from both the Communist side and the Lomps side. And so that's the other part that's scary. You know, that we have really avowed socialists who are saying that they're Communist socialists, but they're running for office and they don't care anymore. I wonder if you could write a book and publish Anne Frank right now. Could you, could you make Schindler's list right now? I mean, could these, you know, since there's so much anti-Semitism, that shocks me. Also, I mean, again, we're back to fundamentals in school that there are very few places in America outside of charter schools that are teaching how tolerable communism really is. You've had the, the victim of communism movement, I was founded by Lee Edwards, who just passed

the years. Right. I went to Creative Museum to try to remind people of the tens of millions, and they're 60 billion and China, 30 million in the Soviet Union, the orchestration of the famine and the Ukraine to kill all the middle, middle, middle income farmers off. I mean, all these, the killing fields in Cambodia, I mean, on and on and on, wherever communism holds sway, countless people die. Question. And those, and the ones that don't die, I mean, one of the movies that people should really see is other people's lives, which was done about the Stasi, and what they did in East Germany. I mean, the people need to be reminded about just how horrific these people are when they get full power. So President Trump will be meeting with Xi Jinping soon, here in Washington, D.C., a group of people that we both know, want to make sure that they are out there at Freedom Plaza,

protesting to remind not to say not to meet with him, but to please remember the folks that are being persecuted, and that he, that President Trump remembered to bring that to the table. And someone said to me that how outrageous that I even think about that, how dare I say, no, the voice of freedom means that you can bring this up at the table with the most important person in this country, meeting with another leader. I mean, if I was sitting, if I was advising Trump, the thing I would do, the moment that Xi Jinping lands is to formally recognize Taiwan as an independent nation the way, just like Philippines, because over the last dozen plus years, the indigenous people of Taiwan have ruled. They're no longer the old, the national Chinese running things, wanting to go back and

get all of China. It is the indigenous people of a, of a China, of a Taiwan country, Taiwanese, true Taiwanese. They should be recognized. I mean, Jimmy Carter destroyed Taiwan in 78, and for, you know, it's aim on Reagan for not reversing it when he could have, but we have not, we should not allow Taiwan to continually be a rogue nation. They are a nation unto themselves, like the Philippines, like Indonesia, like all these other island countries, they are at the forefront of fighting for safe passage and freedom of the seas in the South China Sea. There we really, that would be a masterstroke to send a shot across the bow of China to say, listen, they are a real nation with legitimate, with a legitimate government based on, and supported by the indigenous people that go back thousands of years, they should be, we should stand for, for bringing back their embassy and have a formal alliance with them.

I think that would be a great shot across the bow. That would be great. I also wish that we take an official position on, Oregon harvesting, that America should not be able to go to China to buy a heart, a liver, a kidney from someone that has to be killed so they can provide that organ, and it, and it happens. I mean, that, well, by Yankeeke, killed the order, paints that picture exactly, and it's shocking. I said this to this individual who I was saying, why, why can't we mention that? Why can't you talk about that? And I cannot tell you the insulting things he said to me, but I said clearly we're on a different, we're on a different plate here because I believe that leaders that come to this country need to understand the will of the people against, whether it's Oregon harvesting, human trafficking, the independence of Taiwan, why can't we say that? That is not saying don't meet.

That's take that issue to the table. And further on showing of our supply chain or restoring to allies and pull the rug, economic rug out from under China. Exactly. So what do you predict? What's going to be happening here in the next, uh, with Mr. Trump and China and Saudi Arabia? I got a full plate for you there. You got three minutes to tell me you're inside here. Well, the problem is that we need to understand, as Reagan did in the 80s, that we are in total war, holistic war, all encompassing with horrible forces that are wanting to destroy us as the people, as a nation, as a culture. And that is China, that is Russia, that is North Korea, that is Iran, that is Islam. And unless we take comprehensive action, bold comprehensive action to meet those challenges and to go as the Sharon statement once said, you know, victory over rather than coexistence

with quick question. We're going to lose. We're going to lose. We're going to lose. There are intelligence agencies up to the snuff. Are they, are they doing a good enough job or are they capable? I'm not talking about our military. Right. I think our military, but I'm talking about the intelligence agencies. I don't know. I mean, the thing is, is that I'm getting sources every day telling me that well, Trump put in good people at the top and we're still recruiting good people in the front line. The middle level are still Obama, Biden, Clinton people and are undermining this administration on a daily, even hourly basis. That's happening in domestic agencies as well as in our fence department and our intelligence agencies. So way back when I coined the phrase people or our policy, we still need to clean out people and need to bring in good people. And that is, and we've barely started to do that. Very quickly, give me a place where folks can see your most recent writings because we're

about 30 seconds away from. Right. If you go citizen oversight is blog spots. So if you type citizen oversight is one word and then Faulkner, you up will pop 340 calls. Wonderful. Scott Faulkner, thank you for being such a great American. Always joining us here in the national security hour. I'm Lonkeet the Colombo. We'll see you next week. Take care.
