BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS

It's September 22nd. A woman pulls into a parking garage and is waiting for the elevator when someone starts to whistle. She starts looking around and the lights go off. When the lights come back on, she's gone and only her shoe remains.

Cut to the holiday season, a radio show is taking calls about a serial killer who is on the loose. It's December 24th and a girl is driving her car, listening to Christmas music. She stops on the side of the road to pee. When she gets back into the car, she sees someone is in the backseat. She tries to run, but he stops her. He tells her to start the car. Turns out, her keys are outside. This gives her time to light her jacket on fire and throw it on him but it doesn't work out too well and he ends up killing her and putting her in the trunk. He uses that car to make another car stop and forces this new woman to drive him somewhere but won't tell her where.

Throughout the movie, we see other women that were murdered.

This dude is trying to get out of the country and she's like let's go to the river and you can leave that way. When they get there, she takes him down and then it's revealed that she's actually the serial killer, not him....I think. I gotta be honest, I'm not sure.

The Walmart gets his podcast. Brandon and friend toast his podcast. We hope you like this, darling podcast. Well, well, well, hello everybody.

We've arrived. Happy October to you. It's getting real. It's getting real. Oh, it's getting downright chill. Not here. It's not here. Chillie, chillie, chillie, chillie, chillie, chillie, chillie, chillie. We're always chill. In a couple of weeks Alonzo, you'll be joining us for the marathon. Live it in person once again. Can't wait. Can't wait. Tradition unlike any other. Talk of the town. Talk of the town. I love being there. Day White loves my being there. Oh, many are saying. Many are saying it's a tradition unlike any other. Because he loves it, you love being there. That's when you just get in. You get a wine to get pretty. Yeah. So I think he likes having the place to him. But only for a certain number of days. Yes. Alonzo, what are you dressing up for for Halloween? You know, there are, there is a contingent of the gay community that calls Halloween gay Christmas. But my Christmas is gay Christmas. And so I decided I was not a double major.

So I really am just all of my eggs are in the Christmas basket. That's fairing in another holiday. Why not? So yeah, I have a dress up for Halloween in love very long. I bet I bet it's been a longer stretch. I don't know why is that Halloween gay Christmas? Because for a lot of gays, that is where they really kick out the jams. And they, you know, kick out the jams. If you are, if you're a gay who knows how to sew and or apply makeup, then like clearly this is your holiday to go wild. Sure. And be festive and do it big. I think the last time I dressed up for, we went to a Halloween party. And I went to a sexy George Lucas. Yeah. No, of course. So you just want to tell me how dare you, George Lucas. Yeah. I put on a plaid shirt and I pinned a picture of Jar Jar Binks to myself. Yeah. You are a sexy George Lucas. That's right. There he is, sexy George Lucas. You wake up sexy George Lucas. I mean, it is kind of a 365 for me, but you know, I had to come up with something. Right. What are you going to dress up as? You know what? Like kids are as of right now, they're going as basketball players.

So these are specific players. Gavin's going as Lerry Bird, which is hilarious. Right on, I know spot on, I know the pride of French lick. Yeah, free 처음. And so I don't know maybe I might just throw my basketball jersey and call it a day and make it easy by like. NASTY'S BACK. AMAIIING ME, IME sort of fart in cea. DC back What are you thinking about? My kids are trying to rope Sarah and I into being the men in black. All four. They have seen those films over the last few months and they love them. They love the men in black. They like one of my kids has a Neuralizer and he is just like so they're very invested in us being the men in black. I mean, it doesn't matter. I mean, like, you know, we'll just all be out trips to men's warehouse. You're good to go. Well, I could probably do cheaper than that. I didn't know if you were, you could just wear the suit that you wore to Ryan's wedding. Yeah, of course. No, no, no. That suit was definitely black.

Yesterday. Yesterday. It was yesterday. How did I forget it? No, I will see if we can find a cheap enough, like, for four of it, like, one of my kids is obsessed with suits and ties and he wants to wear them regularly. And I am trying to explain to him the amount of money for him to grow out of it in mere debt. Like, it's just create like, you know, yeah, well, I just am like, dude, I appreciate that you have style, but a full suit. That's all he wants. He's like, I want to wear a suit to school and I'm like, well, you're school as uniforms and he's like, well, let's talk to the principal and see if we can get permission. And it's like, like, dude, it's just a lot of money and you're going to grow out of it in 10 days. Like, you won't fit you and it's just, but he is all about doing them in black for, you know, they originally want good back up. I think maybe you could go as you could all go as the Sasha boys. Sure. I don't know what that is from from T-pop demon. Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, of course, yes, I did. I saw that movie. I did see it. They got on those costumes quick last year.

That movie came out in like, what, August or September? And I saw kids dressed up for Halloween. It was, that was an ongoing phenomenon though. Like, I think I had to be even dropped in like May or something. Oh, okay. Just sort of kept building up. I just was surprised to see how quick they got the costumes out. I feel like that was one of the fastest greenlets sequels of all time. Oh, no question. They, I think they pushed in on that the day after the thing released. It was insanity. I sang that karaoke last marathon, if you already know. Which one? Golden. Wow. Yes. You tackled golden. What was it? Like, only the person singing could hear the silence. Oh, sorry, I was fine. That's right. Hey, how about that, Kelly Clarkson? Golden though. Did you see that? Oh, my God. She can, turns out she's better at it than anybody else's. Yeah, you need a piper to it. I really had that. Wow. Unbelievable. Our close personal friend Kelly Clarkson. That's right. We miss her.

Shout out to her. You know, her shows gone. Her shows go, yeah, we, she walked, she walked away. On her own turns. On her, right for her. I named my June oven after her. There you go. Yeah. How often have you used oven that you received? Oh, you said June oven all the time. All the time. It's super, super helpful. The pizza oven less also the grill, which is on me, I just haven't hooked it all up and bought the propane for it. But the June oven gets a lot of work out. And we totally worked our way through all of the butcher box gift certificates. We're welcome by the way. Yeah, we're not welcome. Thank you. They don't tell you that when you go on to a show, you don't give the gift the audience. You know what? And look, if I could have just hung out in the green room, I would have also not gotten them. Sure. But you know, COVID being good. There you go. Yeah, COVID got you a bunch of ovens. So there you go. All right, he kills at night is the name of this one. He kills at night. Not a spook. This was one that if you just saw the title,

you might not know the disc Christmas movie. But shout out, I believe I found out about this one on the from the Sleepy Kitty Pause, if an memory serves. What a just, you know, I know that they don't have the website anymore. Sleepy. Follow on Blue Sky. She was done doing this years ago. She's great. She's good as an editor. Doing it a storm. Yeah, that's right. She's done it in her way like Kelly Clarkson. So what I'm doing about. And if you're not home, Mark, they don't make you put Christmas or season or you will try into your title to let people know. That's right. All right. December 2nd, 2025 on various streamers and whatnot. And it went a little something like this. It's September 22nd. And a woman pulls into a parking garage and is waiting for the elevator when someone starts to whistle. She starts looking around and the lights go off. And when the lights come back on, she's gone. Only her shoe remains. He kills at night. Ooh. Cut to the holiday season. A radio show is taking calls about a serial killer who

is on the loose. Should we be concerned? Well, it's December 24th. And a girl is driving her car, listening to Christmas music. She stops on the side of the road to go number one, if you will. And when she gets back into her car, she's a Christmas number one. A Christmas number one. Christmas number one. She sees someone in the back seat. She tries to run, but he stops her. He tells her to start the car, turns out. The keys are outside. That gives her enough time to light her jacket on fire and throw it on him, but it doesn't work out too well. And he ends up killing her. He seems bummed out by this. Like a big inconvenience for him. So, and he pushes the car to be like in the middle of the road so that this other car, when it pulls up, has to stop because there's a car in the middle of the road. And so he is now going to force this new woman to drive him somewhere, but won't tell her where in particular.

Throughout the movie, we see flashbacks of other women getting murders. Yes. There's like a Halloween one. There's like a Thanksgiving one. There's one in an art gallery, art day. Art day? Art day? True, true, serious. Yes, serial car. So we find out the big holidays. So we find out that this dude is trying to get out of the country. And he's, you know, they're listening to the radio and the radio is taking more calls about the serial killer. And he's basically like, ha ha, yes. She's like, is this you? It's a whole thing. Obviously, he's the serial killer. He's the one that kills it. Obviously, it's he and he kills it all night. He kills it night. So he's trying to get out of the country. And she's like, well, you know, if I take you down to the river, you might be able to cross the channel. OK. That could get you out of here. So they go head down to the river,

and van down by the river. And she ends up stabbing. You're like, oh, she's going to get away. She's going to get away. Another van shows up. And we see that she has a body in the back seat of her car. Because he doesn't kill it night. She kills it night. She is. She's the serial killer. She was the serial killer the whole time. I think I got to be honest. I'm not 100% sure. But I think that's what happened. And that my friend was. He kills it night. I think best I can do. We can do as far as we know. All right. Let's take a break. Clearly a little confusion. But we'll try to make heads and tails or heads or tails. Heads or tails. Let's make both. Let's do both. Heads and tails on the other side of the break here. On deck. On the hallmark. Call it in the air.

Tails. Heads. It was middles. It was middles. Landing on the side. Landing on the side. Yeah. Oh, look at that. Unbelievable. Inception. All right. Let's talk. He kills it night. So we're going to share thoughts on this movie. Hey, Christmas. Hey, text Christmas. Christmas Eve. There's some Christmas music. There's some Christmas vibes. Let's break this down. We're going to start with a hot take. We're going to share exactly how you felt about this movie. Along so he kills it night. Did it kill? Ah. Or is it kill? Are we human? Are we human? Are we human? Does he kill? Yeah. There's a lot that I liked about this movie. And I will say there's a lot of stuff that I wrote down as though they were problems with this movie that then turned out not to be, or at least it turned out to be answered by the film. And it reminded me quite a bit of one of my favorite movies

of recent years, a lock, where the entire movie is in a car for the entire movie and all the drama unfolds. Life is falling apart as he's on a phone call that he's having. Yeah, I'm speaking about it. And this movie spends a lot of time in the car. But it seems intentional. It seems like, OK, low budget movie, how do we work with what we've got? And they actually make a lot of that quite suspenseful and interesting. But I've also baffled by the last chunk of this movie, logistics and explanations and things. So yeah, I think there are parts of this movie, including the ending, where it's like, this is really cool if you don't think about it too much. So that's kind of the recurring, that's the aftertaste I have for this movie. Really cool if you don't think about it too much. It is a really interesting movie. I will say the opening, scene, the opening,

kill or kidnapped or whatever is really interesting, immediately hooks you, job well done there. It does all take, you know, like 80% of this movie takes place in the car. And it was hard for me to stay locked in. And I can't help but wonder if there were some things that were said or happened in the car while I was zoned out because they were still just talking in the car. That would have made the ending of this movie maybe make a bit more sense. Like I still, I have questions even though at the end of this movie, they do like the thing where they show you how it all pieces together, kind of, even though you have some questions. So I don't know. It is ambitious. And we don't get many actual twists on this show. And so that was cool. Didn't see it coming. I honestly, I don't know what to do with this movie because I was bored, but I was also

intrigued by the general concept and twisted in this movie. So oh, so, so, so. But to tell you where I am with this movie, I was more locked in to I know what you did last Christmas. So even though this movie, I believe, is a better movie. I enjoyed last week's more. So do it that way, you will. But the twist of this movie at the end is a really cool idea. I don't know if they start. Check that it doesn't, can't quite catch. Yeah. So I will echo the sound of your echo, echoing the echo. But the opening scene of this movie is a lot, there's a lot of promise in it. And it's shot really well. And it's very low budget, but the use of light, it reminded me of, they made a movie called Lights Out. It was based on like a nine minute short film. And lights out to movie sucks. But the opening nine minutes are amazing. I like, it's like so good.

How they do with like turning the light off and back on. Just the trailer alone is very effective. The short film is very effective. I think the opener here is really, really good. And then the end is made with so much confidence, like with the flourishing confidence of Shyamalan kind of revealing his color scheme that you should have caught onto all movie. Which should have worked on me as a Shyamalan fan. Like the piano starts to go like a waterfall and they start throwing these things at you and you're like, that would be awesome. If all of those things clicked a puzzle together, but the problem is because either your movie was so low budget or you lost it in the editing room or you didn't really have this full puzzle to show us, it doesn't click into anything. And so, you know, we all like to watch that ending, but when it's earned and you are actually fooled, I think it makes more sense than what they do here.

But you have to admire the confidence in Bravada with which it is given to us. The end of this movie is like, we got you. Now, did they get us? No, but they firmly believe they got us and they believe that they've, you know, clicked the, they've completed the circle, so to speak. And you have to admire that confidence. The problem is in between those things, I was less like this is like lock and more like this is redundant. Like it felt very just like we'll get in the car. There's a reason we gotta get out of the car. Something will happen that gets us back into the car. We're back in the car. It does not like it just, you know, and so I wasn't incredibly motivated to care about the ending, but I don't think they give us any breadcrumbs to make the ending make sense. They make you do a lot of work to make that ending make sense. So good beginning, confident closer, definitely doesn't just kind of spend its wheels in the middle. So yeah, I mean, it's better than I know what you did.

Less Christmas for sure. But it's, you know, it's still pretty micro-budgety in what it does and it doesn't really stick to landing that it thinks it does. So it's less, it's less aha and more okay. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, especially the, and I hate to ruin this for brand, but he's never gonna watch this movie like, there's a usual suspects like thing in here. Yeah, yeah, that is the lamest thing I've ever seen. You know, like I have to, I'll talk about it in the wait what, it'll ruin usual suspects for brand. Which, you know, I mean, I was in eighth grade when I saw usual suspects like my parents would have never. I saw it on a trip with school and I was just like, like I was just like, I was just like, it was the best movie of all time. But this movie is the lamest version of usual suspects I've ever seen, ever. We'll talk about it in the wait what, so that's it. It did feel like I can picture the end of this movie happening with all the reveal stuff and the director hands on hip and then pointed like, see, you see what I see what I did? I see what I did. I'm glad we ended.

And then he looks back at us and we go, I don't know if I see what you have. I have questions. Yeah. All right, all the feels, anything in this movie can we feel, Zolanda? I mean, I will say like coming off of, I know she did last Christmas, I admired like the real snow, the, you know, extensive nighttime photography that's done quite well. And the, you know, getting the most out of a handful of locations, you know, I think it's doing that low budget movie thing really well. And because I have a good friend who works in TV, I know that a movie that is set entirely at night means that everybody is shooting from like, you know, 9 p.m. to dawn. Five and over. For weeks. Yeah. So go kudos to the cast for putting it in the crew for putting up with all that. And this case that may have been days, but yes. Yeah. Maybe a week. Maybe a week and I. Yeah, maybe, maybe.

Yeah, the movie does have a score. This is mine. Okay. No, you're good. Um, does the score get old quick? Yes, sure does. It sure does. But they did it. Yeah, kudos to kudos to them for actually kind of scoring the movie. And most movies that we're watching at this time of year on festive Friday, the score is brought to you by public domain. It is brought to you by whatever music they searched and found on the internet they could use for free. This movie has an actual piano score that's supposed to be this eerie, creepy thing. Works well in the opening scene, diminishing returns as we move along. And then it kind of builds at the end for this, you know, this revel these revelatory twists scenes, but they scored it. They did the movie has an actual score that was made for this movie. So I did appreciate that. That's kind of a low bar for us this time of year. But most of most movies we watched do not clear it. All right, let's take a break.

We'll come back. We'll get to the way when the what the homework here on. The homework. Welcome back, everybody. It is great to be here today on festive Friday. He kills at night as a movie we're talking about today. A little Christmas creepy. A double C Christmas creepy. Let's sure our weight what seems like there might be a few, but I'll start with you Alonzo, what you got? Well, to your point about the score, yes, but also the radio station is she is, it is all public domain Christmas carols all the time. And they try to work that like, oh, this one's my favorite or whatever. And it's just like, no, this is wallpaper music that you're throwing into establish your holiday bonus feed is in between call in discussions of the serial killer who's making his way around.

I always thought that stage blood was cheap that it's like, you know, corn syrup with, you know, a little red dye in. Apparently it is made of golden diamond because when you get stage blood on your face in this movie, you never wipe it off. No, no. You just, you lose that a cake right on for however long we're going to go. It's too precious and valuable to get rid of. Yeah, again, a lot of stuff I was writing down along the way that I thought were mistakes. Like, wait, she's already got a black eye and she's gotten out of the car yet. That turns out to be a plot point. I thought that the flashbacks at first sort of reminded me of. Cisco and Ebert famously back in the 80s did a whole like half hour diatribe against slasher movies. And they would they referred to them all as the women in danger moves because so many of those movies was like killers POV screaming woman running for her life and then getting, you know, horribly murdered. And I was getting that vibe from the flashbacks until of course later the flashbacks are

explicated. And they aren't just there to get us out of the car for a while. Like they actually are relevant to the story. So fair enough movie. I'll give you that. But let's unpack the ending because there's a lot to get into here. First of all, and again, like brand, I did zone out a little maybe while watching this when they go to the house so they can steal a car. And then do they leave the house in a different car or is it still her car? Um, because if it's not her car, why is that body in the trunk? I believe that they don't steal another car. I think it was a part of this movie where they had to get the they had to either have gas cans or get gas cans so that they could stay in this car. Right. Well, that was a thing and that she spills a bunch of it when the woman comes in for herself. Early on, I'm like, why does she have a gas can full of gas in her car? Like before we realized the twist of this movie, who has that?

That just will make your car smell terrible. But I think if you live like out in somewhere where you can't count on there being a gas station a few minutes away, you know, I don't know in rural England somewhere, maybe like there are petrol stations are hard to come by. And so you got to keep a Jerry can as they say a million times handy. All right. So okay. So if it's still her car, then that explains why there's a body in the trunk. But if it turns out that she's the one who actually does all the killing at night, who is he killed? Yeah. I don't know what I don't know if he actually has you mean the other guy, not the guy we see on movie. The guy we see all the blonde girl at the beginning. He kills the blonde girl beginning, but that's not enough to like, I got to leave the country now. I think that yeah, I don't know why he has to leave the country, but I don't think that he is a killer. I think that might be why he was like frustrated after the killing was like, I don't want

to kill this person. Like, yeah, he just he just needs a way out of the country for what or and he can't drive. Yeah. And then but then when he hears the radio news, he decides he's just going to claim to that person to share her. This is my way to get her to do what I want her to do. The motivation of that character is just very murky. Yeah. Again, I think like there's a line of dialogue or a cutaway or a something that could have made all of this much clearer because yeah, the turns out that she's the killer. She kills it nice. And you know, not that I have to have a tighty psychological explanation, but I'd like some explanation at the end about why, what did she get out of it? What's the, what, what, how does it fulfill her? I, so she has a partner, right? Yeah. She has a partner that shows up in the end of this movie, takes the girl out of the trunk of the car, brings it to the van. Right. You see in one of the cuddle, like one of the little explanation clips that there's

like a syringe of something like I don't actually know if they kill any of these girls. I wonder if it's a like a, like a trafficking thing. Oh, they do, I mean, there's a dead girl in the trunk. I don't know if they do a syringe to knock her out. We never see, we never see. Maybe she's passed out. Right. Title of this movie is purely that guy at the beginning killing that one girl and we're I think so. Or give us a while. Just a wild goose chase. He kills at night. I think so because like they don't actually show anyone actually get killed and then that guy showing up in a, in like a white van to take this girl from the trunk and then puts it into his van. That's how I kind of read it, the more that I thought about it after the fact. So they, they, they, they, sex traffic, indoor, organ traffic. That night is what we're getting. That's, it was too long of a title. Yeah, that's a weird one. But you guys saw with the syringe. Yeah, and I know that you mentioned that does. Yeah. What about the first woman?

The first, the first woman we don't see. The parking garage. Yeah, we just, we just see the lights go out. The lights come back on. There's a shoe. Okay. But like there's news reports of three women having missing. They're all missing. Okay. So they're all missing and we think they might not know. So basically we have to perform an autopsy on this movie. Well, that's the thing is, I think that this reveal at the end, you know, it's just, it's one of these things where you just need more bread crumbs or a reveal that explains more to make it hit. I think some of this, we're just all, this is pure conjecture. Yes. We have nothing to go on. Because by the, sorry. By the time you get to the big climax at the end, it's street cleaning day. Oh. You know, yeah, you, there's like a couple of more cutaways that could explain easily. Because now that we've, now that the cat's out of the bag, we can tell you everything. Yeah. And then that would have made all of this a lot more linear. 100%. Yeah.

Well, who knows? To touch on one more thing about the radio station. Like the radio station you're describing is one station. It is a station that plays public domain Christmas tunes. And in between those songs, a radio DJ takes phone calls about a potential series. Heck yeah. What a Christmas. What a crazy radio station. Honestly, I'm here for it, combining two of my favorite things Christmas music with Drew Crime. Incredible. Yeah. Should I launch this? K brand. K brand. I'll play a Christmas song and then we'll talk about the crime, the crime of the week. That's crazy. Like that's the station that they're listening to in this movie is very funny. Then there's a moment. Yeah, at the, at some point in the movie with one of the public domain songs, which is like, I don't know, God resty Mary gentleman or whatever.

And she's like, this is my favorite. The first no well. The first no well. Do you have this one? Well, then go ahead and take it. She says, the first no well starts playing. And she says, this is my favorite Christmas song. And then he says, no, it's not name one person that's ever sung it. Sir, that's just not how that works. Like it's a, your favorite song could be from a hymnal. Like the idea that just because she doesn't know a pop star that sung this song. But you know what? Also, dummy, just say like Bing Crosby. Yeah. Take a stab. That's a safe bet. And then he says, you're going to die. Frank Sinatra. But then he says after that, you've never heard this song sung in your life. We all have this the first no well. What are you talking about? Get out of here. Crazy. Crazy. It's a deep cut. It is absolutely deep cut. Listen, the, I was so frustrated by the woman that gets killed in the car.

The guy, the guy, it's taking the car. He had so many opportunities. Oh my god. Those brutal. No one in this movie is heard of a locked door. Dude, I was screaming lock the door. Drive, pull, go, go something like it was crazy. She had like two or three opportunities to just drive off and she didn't take it. Yeah. And she's like, maybe she's related to the girl in, I know you did last Christmas who could have easily gotten back into the house. Easily. Yeah. Yeah, just, not can't do it. Dana. Yeah. The opening scene of this movie is quite effective, but we watch a woman in the middle of the night pull into a parking garage and then switch from tennis shoes to high heels to walk in the garage at night, which I thought was hysterical. Like a parking garage in the middle of the night, ma'am, like already fear for your safety.

Now you're putting on shoes that are more difficult to run in. Like you were already wearing the tennis shoes, get to where you're going and then switch shoes. Like what? Like that's one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. Now that I've driven to the park garage in a secluded area that's dark and not well lit, let me put on the high heels. Yeah, I need my feet to become comfortable while I'm seated at the driver's and the wheel. That's right. Yeah, but not while I'm walking. No. Yes. The reveal that she made up her daughter, right? So she convinced this guy in the back that she has a daughter that her name is Grace and she plays Piano, right? Those are the two things you know about your daughter. I've got two. She's Grace. She plays Piano. Then we see, listen. None of us hear her men, some members, call Marcus Rosner, but all of us could have come up with two things on the spot.

Quick makeup a person. It's Darryl and he loves baseball. Like it's not hard, but then we see this mastermind. There were two flyers in the back of the trunk and one says Grace on it and one says Piano lessons on it. Yeah, there was a magazine about Grace Kelly and a magazine about playing piano. I know. You know, this is not brand. Right now could make up a part like anybody could make up two things. Like, this is where it's usual. Darryl and he loves ultimate friends. So my son's name is Crandel. Crandel, this would be me. This is if I was on a Crandel. It's Crandel, who the hand? Yeah. It likes darks. Yeah. Big into darks. Yeah. So in usual suspects brand, there's a guy being interrogated all movie and talking about the big bad of the movie, who's this guy. No one can catch. And there's a police. He's in a police office, detective's office. And the detective's office back bulletin board is just filled with wanted posters, advertisements,

things. And at the end of the movie, the guy walks out of the office and you find out he is that guy and he made up the entire story using the bulletin board behind the detective. It's a phenomenal twist. And the name of the bottom of the guy's coffee cup. That's right. The name of the bottom of the coffee like any is mug. So literally the whole movie he's done on the spot. Boom, boom, boom. And it's spinning a y'all. I'm talking 50 or 60 different references off the board. Right? Yeah. Crazy impressive. This movie's like, dude, wasn't that twist cool? What if we put two books? Oh my God. It was so embarrassing. Like, and it wasn't like some crazy. It was so embarrassing. Yeah. Originally, there was just a copy of Moby Dick. He's like, I was suddenly in her minute. He loves waiting. His name is Luke and he lives in the day of a system. God. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, wait a minute. No, days go by before I see him again. I don't.

And I am his father. He tattooing his ear. He's got a tattoo in his ear. I can just guys do things. It's two things. Her phone is vibrating. It like, boom, boom. The guy in the back seat can't hear it. He can't hear it. She's cranking a holy night. He doesn't feel it. He doesn't feel the vibe. Like, if a phone is on the floorboard of a car and it's going, everybody in the car knows what's happening. This guy doesn't, he is just no clue that this is happening at all. Yeah, just real, real bad. And it does make more sense that he's a bad serial killer because he's not a serial killer. He just is in over his keys and he's, he's killed and now realize the consequences of that. He's just real stupid, constantly still. Like so many times he's like, don't, he's holding a knife, not a gun. And he goes, don't move. And he walks away. He's like, looks at someone. He's holding against their will under the threat of violence.

And he goes, no, you don't move. And he just is like, I'll be right back. Pinky promise me that you will not move. And then he walks away. And what do they do? They move. These people don't listen. I mean, maybe part of the twist is to give her an excuse to not have walked away from this yo-yo, which you pretty easily could have done at various points. Yeah, I guess. That's all I got, Bray. It's time for the home art questions that we still had. Do we like some answers to a long time? I mean, I think we all want to know what happened. Yeah, I would love to. I have the full explanation of every story. Director's culture. Pinkerton brothers or whatever their names are that made this movie. It was like a brother of the siblings or whatever. If you are listening to this, please email me. brandadectohomer.com. I want to hear from you. And maybe the ending is supposed to be, you know, somewhat ambiguous, right? It's like that was the goal, I think.

I think it is. Let us have the two minutes of exposition to really bring this baby together. Tell me what I'm missing. Tell me what I did. I get it right. Did I, my right about what happened here? Let us know. I don't know if that's ever happened with one of our movies before. We're like, hey, just tell us if we got the ending right. Yeah, somebody reach out. Give us a little bit more. We'd love to hear it. Also, have that leg wound turn out. Sure. Yeah. That was pretty gnarly. Pretty gnarly. Yeah, I mean, my was all ending based. It's like, okay, well, she's got an accomplice. Or, you know, I thought she was murdering. There's one body we do see. Lisa said this in the chat. The girl in the trunk on the ground in front of an old man's house at the end. Like, so what, so that might have been, maybe they did switch cars and that was showing us how she got from the trunk. Because they're so a little bad in the mouth. But there's a body when they get to the beach, though. There's a body when they get to the beach. I just, right, in the trunk of the car. Yeah. Like what I'm saying is like, she could have moved

the girl from the trunk of the car to rain out of gas and moved it to the trunk of the car when they moved into it and in the process. Because there's like, there's like, there's a bit of a cat and mouse game, the whole movie, obviously. But at that old man's house, they are like, there's a bit going on there where she could have moved the body. Yeah. I just, I, you know, I've got nothing. I wanted to make sense so badly. And I feel like five more minutes of movie could have done. Five more minutes. Five more minutes. He, he kills it tonight. He kills it night. We did it. We did it. One more creepy. One more festive Friday. And there will be a wrap. That'll be a wrap. Fear something festive Friday. That's right. Do you fear what I fear? Do I fear what I fear? A knife, a knife.
