Sony has lost Kojima. XBOX has found Kojima. And we go helldiving for crabs....

🎮 Kojima's Physint Is Now an XBOX Game!

Well. We didn't have this one on the bingo card. PlayStation has stepped away from Physint, Hideo Kojima's big return to action espionage, after Sony unexpectedly cancelled the project in June. Kojima Productions then spent three months hunting for someone willing to help keep the game alive. Enter XBOX. Microsoft is now publishing Physint through XBOX Game Studios, expanding its relationship with Kojima beyond OD and somehow leaving XBOX with not one, but TWO Kojima games. We're sure the internet will react to this news in a calm, measured and entirely reasonable fashion.

💸 Leave Game Pass and Microsoft Might Give You a Discount?

XBOX Game Pass has discovered the relationship tactic of only appreciating you after you've left. Former Game Pass subscribers are reportedly being offered targeted discounts of up to 30% off to tempt them back. Which is great news! Unless you've been faithfully paying for Game Pass every month. Then you get the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing your continued loyalty is apparently its own reward.

☁️ XBOX Cloud Gaming Gets a 15-Hour Limit

Remember when XBOX Cloud Gaming was about playing anywhere? Microsoft would now prefer you didn't play too much anywhere. Starting in November, XBOX Game Pass Ultimate gets 15 hours of cloud gaming each month. Premium gets 10. Essential gets just five. Run out and you'll be able to buy additional hours from the XBOX Store. Microsoft says only around 4% of Game Pass subscribers will be affected, which raises the wonderfully obvious question: if it's only 4%, why annoy them? Especially when XBOX has spent years telling us that cloud gaming is an important part of the future of XBOX. Apparently the future comes with a timer now.

💿 XBOX Disc-to-Digital Is Actually... Really Cool?

Quick! Microsoft has done something good. Everyone, remain calm! XBOX's new disc-to-digital program is rolling out to XBOX Insiders, letting you insert supported physical XBOX games and claim digital access to them. More than 800 XBOX discs are already supported, including over 200 delisted games, and the list continues to grow. It's a fascinating solution for XBOX game preservation, backwards compatibility and taking physical libraries into an increasingly digital future. It also resurrects some ideas from the infamous XBOX One announcement in 2013, except this time Microsoft appears to have explained what it's doing before setting the internet on fire. Progress! Not every publisher is fully onboard yet, though...

⚒️ Blizzard Workers Win a Historic Union Contract

And finally, something rather more important than arguing about plastic boxes. Nearly 1,900 Blizzard Entertainment workers across World of Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch, Hearthstone, QA and other teams have ratified a major new union contract after two years of bargaining. The agreement includes wage increases, layoff protections, hybrid and remote working provisions, just-cause protections and, rather interestingly in 2026, rules requiring Blizzard to actually discuss and bargain with workers over the use of generative AI. It's potentially a massive precedent for people working across the games industry, and it all happened inside a Microsoft-owned studio.

Good bye Mr Lee. Have a good bye, Padka. This is the Xbox cast. Hello and welcome to the regular show by the Xbox cast. We're here to keep you regular and on top of all the news, we're your host, Karlin Lee and we are back after missing one week which makes us semi-regular but maybe we are being too regular, although this year has not been regular at all. Mr Lee, how are you doing? I'm so pleased. You use so many words then. He said nothing with so many words. The trick, the trick to getting to be high up in the food chain and to upper management or middle management at least is to say the most words by saying the least things. Yes. You have succeeded in life if that's your plan. Thank you. Well then I will take a bow.

Yes, I'm doing better. I've been sick last week was a week last week. What was happening? I saw my house. And then you got very sick. I was fighting the sickle week and just ignoring it. You know how you do when you got stuff to do. The one discovered on that. So the meeting on the Monday went to the place on the Monday and came back and said that one of the burners on the oven is not working and I'd taken off the metal, you know, the thing that protects the fan. It was loose. So I just took it off. Well, I would have done put your hand in the oven. You're not going to lose any fingers. It's hot anyway. Why would you put your hand in there? So he was like, oh, that's supposed to be on there. And the bone is fixing. I was like, God, okay. Then so I then contacted gas people for the hob. Went to my 10 wants. Gas person was like, oh, this is 20 years old this hob.

Great. When they start off like that, you just know, okay, how much is this going to cost? So what's that? That's fun. Yeah. I was like, okay, he said, I will see if I can get parts for it. I know what the problem is. I'll see if I get part for it. Okay. Cool. That's awesome. But then up with my 10 purchase, I then I went back to my 10 picked up some bolts thinking that I'll sort out the back. Put bolts in, didn't work. I was like, huh, cool. Okay. So I went back to the next. This was like Tuesday. Wednesday went back again with more bolts. Went to my 10 brought more bolts. Tried those, didn't work. Went back to my 10. Got different bolts again. Tried those. They didn't work. So I was like, right, okay, so I have to bring something. So I then rang up Lange, which is a big company. They were like, oh, no, we look after classic ovens. It's all good. I was like, I got for that. Okay. I said, well, you might have to look at gas. I was off because the guy who went to look at gas of the gas band has come back to me once and two days and said, I'm still waiting. I'm like, God, this is him in night. So Lange's then went on. So this is so old. So I was, because this is all stressed with me because I'm like, the house is not

going to sound now because they're going to be like really annoyed having this one thing. That's going to wreck the whole thing. I was like, yeah, God. So I've been Friday. I was like, oh, so I kept to say just in line with all the conversations and said, okay, I've got gas bank going around. I got this going right. They're like, this happening. Sort of that Lange's to go on the Monday. I said, here's the job number for it. So just whatever they do, they'll charge me. It's like, yes, we. Yeah. Friday went through. Emo at half past 11. Science cleared. It's all done. Money cleared by a free pocket. It's like that. It's like, I'll thank you all for that. So then on Saturday, I dug up bushes. I pulled down two big trees and dug up a whole bunch. But basically cleared games front of games house. You're going to make the driveway bigger, basically, and do all this sort of stuff and clean it all up and tidy. It's all dead. It's all the bushes have been there for so long. They're a bit dead. So you're like, I'll just get rid of them all. Mate, Bob came down with a chain saw helped just kind of grind them, find the stumps down quite low, did like too low. Are we moved? They'll get you all over this. So

new truck also put it up. 340 kilograms of a green wastes. A one trip. 340 kilograms of a green wastes. That's leaves and trees and bushes. That youth was a fantastic buy. Oh my god. It was pulling a ton because the actual trailer we got was the biggest trailer we get. The trailer was rough 7 way in 700 kilograms. The stuff on it was 300. It was actually worth pulling a ton around. Me and mate in the car going doesn't care. It's just doesn't care. It's like we're just driving down the street. We're not pulling a ton behind us. But that was so we did two loads. So we didn't have a load which was a bit less, but maybe another 100. So we did like 400 kilograms off a green waste that day. Jeez. Yeah. I was not great on Sunday. Because I've been kind of fighting it. So we're all we've been fighting it and just not feeling great when it's there. Then kind of like no podcast. I'm too tired. I just can't. But I've been going to the house. Went house three times last week trying to fix this. Then I moved all this stuff on

sat. Sunday I was just written off. I was just broken. And Monday we'll cop and I was like, no, I'm really broken. I'm not doing well here at all. So yeah. So I had my meal as well. Meanwhile phone call from Halbberson who specialises in classic said, oh, these guys just went into liquidation. Sorry. We can't get any parts at all for that. Oh, no. Like. So I looked into it and I was like, it's going to cost me like 800 bucks, 900 bucks to replace it with the cheapest nastiest hobbin oven. Plus installation. I just spoke to someone who said they spent a thousand dollars getting it installed because they had to get it. It's done. I'm like, this is not going to work. Well, I said, I know. I'll offer a thousand dollars to the person buying it. Say here's money. Put it towards the new oven and kitchen oven and hold. Do you want to do buy something decent? Don't I'm going to put in some crap. Don't do that. Sure. Yep. Fine. I was like, okay. That's that sorted. It's amazing what you can do when you just say here's some money. Please. Yeah, that's right. Well, money make it go away. Yes, right. Here's some money.

Money fixes all the problems. Oh, it's so nice. When you she went, yep, he's happy. I was like, put money across. She said, thank you. I said, right. I've done houses all none. That's it. Nothing to do on that. That's not all sorted. Fantastic. Excellent. So nice. So nice. Yeah, it was so cool. Good job. So it was off Monday, just basically played on the couch. Watch TV, played this box. I was like, I can't move. I can't do stuff. Then choose a mobile cop. So I just think I just needed a day after the long week, long weekend. I think I just need a date as a stop. Yep. Yep. So I feel good. I feel good now. I'm fine. That's good. Yeah. It's the ramp up to like selling the house and then there's problems. So it's all that stress. And then it's then it's all done. And then you go and clear garden waste. Yeah. I needed them. You know, you want someone to do on set? I was like, I've been just mucking around all week, waiting for a stress based the away. I needed to go outside and do some heavy lifting or something just to like, just set myself for most. Like, put me foot and grass. As I touch grass, I think that's what it was. I just need to be not because the stress of it is you don't actually know what's going to happen.

It's all the unknown, isn't it? Yeah. Because all the way I was saying, yeah, the house goes through on Friday. I hate people going, I am, I went for like, haphaz five on Friday. I was a complete nightmare because there was this and this. I'm like, don't tell me this shit. I don't know this. These problems you have. Yeah. Thanks for helping. Yeah. That's right. Thanks mate. Yeah. So it was funny when I got there because I got, I was looking at me. I just got, I happened to glad summer email and the law sent me through an email going at like 1138 saying, house has gone through. Congratulations. I was like, sweet. I literally got a text message like a minute later from this stage and going, house has gone through. Congratulations. I was like, that's amazing. They must have got the message exactly the same time. I decided to write me a message. I was like, that's freaky. Like, look over. It took my tip. My Google's not wrong. I don't know. We look at it. I normally have it behind something else. But I just happened to have it up and I just went, oh, cool. And then went, BB, oh, cool. That's amazing. That's funny. Yeah. And then I was like, go into some of my house.

And there was a battery-joicing. I really enjoyed my bacon buddy and my coffee. I have lunch. Something to tell you. I can't imagine. Just like, oh, it is done. I just see the garage though. The whole garage. It has been ruined. That's also a bruise due to the ones because I ruined the garage. Oh, yeah. I filled it with my crap. Rookie mistake. So much stuff. Yeah. You again saved the day though. It was amazing. Nice. Just couch bed. All sorts of stuff on the back of your ear. It didn't care. It's like, yeah, whatever. That, that, that, that your totes basically paid for itself. It has completely. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Especially when we've got this massive trailer. It's like the biggest I guess Trader couples who find. And like this trade is amazing. And then he just went, oh yeah, whatever. Yeah, that's nice. That's so nice. And because you've got the camera when you're reversing, I reverse stop. I kissed the, whatever it's called,

the thing that sits on top of the thing. I don't know, words. I literally reverse, reverse, and stopped. I could see it was just like, there was like a millimeter gap between where I stopped and where the thing was like, that's freaking parking for you. That's so good. Just kissing. Just a gentle kiss. I was like, yeah, that's so good. Then I was putting the, when I was putting the, I was actually my amazing reversing. I was doing this reversing. And it was in a, you know, Taredo, you know, stupid, it's a one-pass, McDonald's, it goes off towards the tip. There's a garage there, which is on the main road. So I had to reverse, but I'm like, I'm massive. This trail is massive, and I was like, I'm just gonna have to drive in the road. So I literally reverse, drove in road, but stopped all the traffic. Waved a few people. Thanks. They just reversed them. Then I was like, oh, shit, I'm now gonna be watched as a reverser's countless, stupid trailer, but I did it perfectly. I was like, yeah, cameras are amazing. So you got top-down view, and you got the camera. So you can kind of see stuff beside you as you're reversing, and you can also look in the camera and see where it is as well. That's so good.

I love my YouTube. That's it. Yeah, so it's been a week. It's been a week. It's been insane, just nuts. Yeah, can I imagine? Please. And you're doing the opposite. You're buying lots of debt. No, I've just got rid of all my debt, and you're just getting all the debt. Yes. You're getting rid of your debt. We've just taken on a bunch of debt. But like you said, it's so funny. We get a notification. This is two days before our mortgage broker comes to us. We get a message from the estate agent saying, congratulations, everything's gone through. And we're like, do we trust the estate agent? Because we're still waiting to hear back from the bank on our loan. We haven't really anything back yet. So what does he know? You know, but yeah, everything went through. We did the final inspection this week. Nice. Turned on all the lights. It seems to gone really fast. This buy. Your buy? Well, that's what basically won us this buy.

Was the fact that we could settle really quickly. Gotcha. There was 25 days from the phone call of saying, can you do this amount? Yes. To basically settlement. Nice. Listen a month. That's awesome. And we get the keys on the 15th next week. We get the keys. Go. We move on the 25th. So we've got some overlap. We're getting some trades in to fix some stuff. We're getting some fumigators in. And when we can start carting stuff backwards and forwards, so that the movers hopefully don't do what they did when they moved us out the city here, which is take like 16 hours to move us across the city. You need a use and a trailer. That's what you need. You need your sound. You need it. Moving out of apartments, Lee, there's just the slowest thing in there. It's there. It's the stairs, dude. Ah, just the elevator. And it's so slow. Yeah. And then they didn't take everything. We started to go back like a couple days later to load up another van of stuff

that they couldn't fit in the van. They had this big van with all that stuff. Useless. Yes. We're buying a house. The only problem with this house, Lee, is Australia's internet is wonderful. And this means that we go from far but to the premise to this wonderful technology called HFC. I actually all far. Polariously slow internet. Something like that. Basically the plug that you would plug into the back of your TV, the COX, feeds you internet. Oh, I know that stuff. Yeah, I know that stuff. Yes. The wonderful thing about it is that Australia has decided that COX is the same level as far back. So if you have COX, you don't get far back. And the wonderful thing about the COX is its upload speed is absolutely atrocious. You get gigabit down. You can get up to two gigabit down.

You can't get faster than 100 meg up. Because it's COX, plugging into the TV, it was never made to send the signal back. It was only made to send the signal down. It was to receive. Interesting. Yeah, right. And so they've had to do all this funny stuff to basically be able to get it to receive. And it can only receive at 100 meg up. I ran mine recently. Actually, it's a bit slow in the moment, but I'm not sure why it is. I ran it recently. Mine's up at 900 to 500. Of 1,900 to 500, it's quite nice. Yeah, I know. Oh. Yeah, it was really nice. And 95 bucks a month, as though I was really impressed. Yeah, it was super fast. Not for a while. Yeah, that was really good. And QE's, do you email, and then the person emails you back again? Yeah, it's fantastic. What? What's that about? I should get in some help. With the name you can pronounce, which is always good. That's right. It was really cool because when I changed it, I did the IP address change. I make sure I had an IP address here. Not a floaty, like an hour one. And I emailed them, moving an hour, it was all done.

I was like, oh, this is actual service. I'm really impressed. Yeah. This is, yeah, I went on to the app, the Aussie broadband app. And I'm like, this is when we moving, this is a one-to-internet connected two days before at the current place. And I want the internet disconnected here two days after. Did, did, did, son, yes. And they go, cool, all done. Do you believe the person? Do I believe them? Yes. Aussie broadband is very good. Like the ISPs are good. The internet speeds are bad. OK. Because I did the same when I bought my play last place and not this place before. And I give them like two months notice. The news is going to move in. I had the dates everything sorted out. And they said, yeah, no worries. And it didn't work. And it took them three weeks to fix it. Even though the first conversation I had was, they were like, no, no, there's nothing wrong with it. It's like, what do you mean there's nothing wrong with it? So it must be something to your phone. I'm like, the phone worked like literally yesterday. And now it doesn't work. I don't feel like it's my phone. I'm like, it's like, you know, it's not going to break

being picked up and moved to another house. Yes. And then recklessly like after I grew through something weird happened. The telecom guy appeared down the street and then also to start working. They never told me it was going to appear or ever admitted they fixed it. It was just weirdly appeared. I don't know. It's constant. It's probably. It's, yeah, network people, man. It's like, it's not broken. That's right. Dave, Dave. Yeah, it's not broken. Tiss now. I see it was never broken. No, it was always working. It must have been you. It must have been testing it wrong. I'm having this fact that the network team at the moment. You've done something. You've broken it. It's clearly broken. No, we haven't changed anything. Go check the firewall. We haven't changed anything. Go check the firewall. Tiss now. What did you change? Nothing. It's like you're working. I haven't changed anything. Yep. So we do podcasts. We're running late anyway. I don't think no one's going to watch us.

They think they'll hate us. They're changing the days confused people. We changed days. They confused people. We changed content management systems and confused people. Do the same as the change to you. Is that what you're calling a notion? CMS. Yes, it's our CMS. It's our content management system. Yes, it's nice. Luckily, you know, the listeners can be glad we don't put the stuff in Salesforce or SAP or whatever else other CMS. Not sweet. Not sweet, was it? It's sweet, wonderful. No, notion seems good though. I'm impressed. It's better than obsidian, which just seems to be broken. I think the problem with a Syrian is the mobile app costs money or you have to have a subscription to get the mobile app. Mobile app is fine, but the sync, it's the sync that costs money. Yeah, and I think that's what I was like. I just don't want to pay for it when I'm not notes free. Oh, we managed to find a way around over it,

which has got confused, so we can't do that now. But... Yeah. Well, notion it is for now, man. Yeah. If the listeners want to know what a good place to share notes, they should just come talk to us because we've tried one note. We've tried up note. We've tried obsidian. We're now on notion for a bit. What else have we tried? I feel like we've tried almost everything on the market. Yeah, I want for a phase of trying them. I literally want for a phase looking into it, which is why I came to obsidian and then upload. You know what? You know what we're going to end on? Hey, sorry. You know what we're going to end on? We're going to decide as the best content management system. Ever. We're going to be emailing a text file to each other. Hahaha. Wait. You've got a Microsoft account. I've got a Microsoft account. We can open a Word document and just write it, and it will do live updates. Hahaha. Yeah. We tried that with one note and it all broke.

Yeah, no, that's true. Yeah, that's true. Hahaha. That's why a dot com. One note is so bad. It's like no, use the wrong version, right? I'm like, I didn't just, I just installed one note. No, no, that's not how you install one note. You have to go here to install one note. But why? I just want to use one note for the normal way. No, no, that's the wrong version. I don't know. Look at this new one. It looks really crap. Well, that's the new one, but it doesn't look as good as the old one. I'm like, yeah. That was how the conversation was going in the end, because it just changed the design. It was just terrible. Yeah, no. Oh, well, I don't know why they changed it. I was happy with the design. It worked fine. Then it's not messy with it and then it didn't work. All of a sudden. Yeah. What's he there? Oh my God. Let's do some Xboxy stuff. Yes. So I have got, I've put the charts into notion for you. You have not put charts. One moment, one moment. I'll just put it in there. I can mention you. Oh, that's excellent.

You mentioned me in one note, in notion. Do we have a title? Yeah. People can't. There you go. I mentioned you. Cool. Thank you. I like notion. I can mention you. It's now I've got, now I've got a wonderful message in my inbox to say I've been mentioned. It's an annoyed a mention out here. I actually like what it does there. Because what you do is you add a, you add a item in there and just copy your own and it's smart enough to just go and say, oh no, I can do all this or you. I hadn't done anything. I just dropped the euro on it. I actually, I mean, Lee Brady wrote this. Good name, right? Yeah. Yeah. I was looking at that. I thought I had confused your name and it said Lee Brady. I know. I was like, well, you called Lee Brady all of a sudden, but no, Lee Brady wrote a good job.

Look at that. And you can go on the right hand side and you can actually go and choose the stories. We're just going to the right hand side. Yeah. Quite nice, isn't it? It's way better than obsidian, which doesn't seem like sinking. Man, it's a pity because I really like obsidian, but obsidian's clearly made for just this is my obsidian. No one else is. You can't have it. You can't even share it. That's right. Don't even look at my obsidian. It'll break everything. Yes. It's see, if no one works on mobile, then we're in. We're in like Flynn. I don't know if it does. We'll find out. We're going to find out because I know to share mobile. So I just, you know, stuff. Okay. Cool. Let's do just two charts. Let's not stop. We'll grab our, that's a CMS. Yes. I don't know. I'm still, I think I'm still a little bit broken from last weekend and last week. I'm trying. I'm still trying. Okay. Car charts. The charts. The charts. We have stuff. I'm not going to read that.

I'm going to read the charts. I'm going to read them. Foughtnights is number one. Then Minecraft. I'm going to do Roblox. Three. I. What is going on here? Why is the one? Why is that going on to number three? So what I can tell is, because I'm the three, the one that's going on. I can tell is, the one that's going on. I can tell is, because I'm the three. What was number three last week has been taken out the chart. I've just researched. Everything has gone up one place. Was it a beta? I don't know what it was. What's missing? It's like a game, isn't it? It's the missing game. We weren't your last week, so we don't know what the missing game was. And even if we were here last week, we probably wouldn't know what the missing game was. Oh, I see.

No, I know there's a link that was sent to me. Oh, here we go. I've a news. We can go back one week. We'll break it out. Oh, well, the game's gone. Must've been a beta. It must've been like a battlefront. Or maybe it was a Gears of War, e-day. A beta. Open beta or something. Was that betaing last week? Maybe. Don't quote me on that. I don't know. I'm just guessing. I thought you were a fan. I am, but I'm keeping myself pure to play the real game. Have you pre-ordered it? Have you pre-ordered it? See, like five days ahead. I should really judge and die. It's on quite. OK, cool. So everything's on one place. It's a normal boringness, you know, card, roblox. Four to six is nice to hang out. GTA 5 is still there. Rocket League. There's nothing new in the charts.

It is boring me in the charts. Battlefield. The charts are pretty boring. Yeah, people see it. Once humans drop down a place. Ooh. How diverse is still hanging out. Apex legend. Power world up there. Destiny 2 is at 21. Anything's moved up one place. Assess stuff that's not. Shell diver is a new entry at number 28. That game shell diver, you know, we all know inside. Is it like hell diver for crabs or something? There's a good title for a podcast. Speedrunner 2, King of Speed is funny. It's funny for a new entry. That's a game that came out as a game possibly. Eldon rings out of reentry. Yeah, I wonder why. They're talking about DLC for it. That's some new DLC stuff's coming out for it. That's why. Oh, cool. A more hammer 40 case.

Space ring two is reentry. I don't think that's just because of the game. Have you played this game? No, no, I never played this one. Oh, man, you're missing out. It's such a good game. I'll put you in the phone, you will. Look, Star Wars 0.45. That's really low. Well, did it only come out the way through the week? I don't know. I would have expected to be higher than that, to be honest. The reviews are it's the best style of games I've ever made ever. That's a really. Yeah, that's what everyone says. Hmm. Interesting. After a near missed debut at 14.9 last week, the strategy game jumped off to 35 this week. Interesting. OK. Cursey, I'm saying Chris. Sorry. Take him. I was just saying, maybe more people are jumping on with the good news. That was really good. OK.

Yeah. Cool. Just come on charts. Yeah, do something. What's your last week's charts? I was just sad. What was last week? Oh, here we go. Modern warfare for beta. Someone's asked the same question. There you go. It was a modern warfare for the beta. Cool. Well, that's good to know. See, we have all the news. Indeed, we are very good with the news. I see our notion handles me clicking on stuff. What brain? Well, sometimes it opens in the wrong place. And it would open me in the home and stuff. OK, let's get into this news. We have news. Let's do new stuff. Let's do news. Cougingmer's fizzant fizzant fizzant. Drops my PlayStation, rescued by Xbox. See, Xbox stepped into save Cougingmer's stealth action project after it was cancelled by Sony in June.

Yeah, Sony revealed today that no longer working with Cougingmer productions on self-action code called fizzant because it's a stupid name, probably. Why could you make a mess that Xbox stepped up to the rest of your project? The change of published means that both Cougingmer's upcoming projects are now coming. And now based on Xbox department long history developing games. Do you feel like PlayStation were like, you're not going in this game, so we're not going in this game. You can go away. No, from what I read, there's that Cougingmer had a fallout with PlayStation about their physical discs being phased out. He wants to release fizzant as like this special physical edition weird thing, you know how he does weird things. Yeah, and he wanted it to be a physical thing. And PlayStation said we're not doing physical anymore. And that was him throwing his toys out the cart and saying, well, then this game is not going to come out on PlayStation. And then Sony were like, well, then we're just not going to fund your game. That's amazing.

Thank you, Cougingmer. You're a bit weird, but what don't we? Yeah, thank you. You're a bit strange, but now we just wait for like death stranding to come onto Xbox and then we'll believe that maybe he will actually release these games on Xbox. Have you played Death Stranding? I've bought it on special. That's not what I asked. You've brought many, many games. I need to play it because apparently it's amazing. Like, it's a walking sim. It's a weird walking sim. That's like a Jima walking sim. Maybe it should preface with that. OK, so you haven't played it. I have not. I've attempted to because I think it's when game puzzles, isn't it? It's on game parts, yes. Yeah, been tempted. But then I just like don't know. It's a bit weird. Babies and men, fruits and stuff. I'll just weird. So the most amazing thing about this was that PlayStation at 1230 p.m. Australian time tweeted out about the fact

that they were dropping Kajima productions fizzing and they are not partnering anymore. And Kajima tweeted at 1239 p.m. Australian time, nine minutes later, I'm going with Xbox. It's one that basically less than 10 minutes from Sony going, look, we're not doing this game anymore to like Xbox coming in and saving the day and being like, by the way, we're all buddy buds here. Can I play here? Yes. Now, really, I really hope that Asha Sharma has gone off to Kajima and said, hey, by the way, if we're paying for this game, it's not coming out on PlayStation like ever, ever. And Kajima's gone, OK, fun. That doesn't matter. And so we can then go, aha, look, we've got some Kajima exclusives on it. Does he still own the metal gear games? He used to work on them with, was it Capcom? Or Konami. Konami, Konami.

And Konami and him fell out while they were doing metal gear fast, which is rather game exact. Ending's finished. Yeah. I saw he doesn't write to them. I was just thinking, are they going to come to Xbox? Because they seem to come to PlayStation. They're a PlayStation exclusive, aren't they? Back in the day. But they're all on Xbox now. The first one and two and three and all. I just, I think the remasters are not so much the original. Yeah, it's also quite good, aren't they? Yeah. But the old ones aren't even on PS5, because there's no backcompad there. Yeah, that's true. Ah. Sorry. The only way to play them is to get like a PlayStation 1 or 2. Oh, get a ROM. Oh, yeah. And then load it up onto your Xbox anyway, because you're Xbox. Just open your wall. Yeah, Xbox to deliver the mode. Microsoft reportedly gives Seeker Xbox Game Plasters caps to churned subscribers to reel them back in. Targeted offers slash 30% up to 1% off the regular price. Oh, OK. This is interesting, isn't it? So they've been offering subscribers.

So numerous users reporting on Reddit to say that one, Xbox Game Pass subscribers shared a screenshot shared a screenshot of a Microsoft offering them to the ultimate plan for 1619, 1609 for a month, 30% lower than the standard, 32 and 9. Their secret, cancel, Xbox Game Pass on was every month. This used to be a thing back in the day, didn't it? That's how you got better. I think there's your phone or something like that. You ring up the phone coming to go. I'm going to cancel your two expensive. They'll go, no, no, please don't go. What can we do to keep you? Can you give me a discount or kick or can you give me a free phone, yeah, sure? Every time you just ring up, they go, oh, yeah, whatever. It's this again, it's the same thing, just threatened to leave or leave. And then they go, oh, please don't go. Dynamic win-back discounts are perhaps the oldest trick in the book. So that's what they call dynamic win-back discounts. They remain what are you's because they're effective in the thing, re-engaging customers who have stopped buying a product or in Microsoft case, cancel their support subscription.

Yeah, we miss you, welcome back deals. See, I expected Vodalphone to do this when I counted my internet, because I've been there with them for like 20 years. No, I just don't care. Yeah, that's crazy. Hmm, yeah, I was surprised. I thought I'd get at least a call to say, hey, what's going on, but. Yeah, so this is kind of cool. Would you want to cancel your subscription to find out if you can get a discount? It'll be interesting. I've ever had to drop mine down anyway, because of the price hack to ultimate. Oh, there's no point having ultimate, was it? We write it out and was like, well, we can just wait 12 months for games. Yeah, I don't know. We still get the discount. I haven't missed it. So. Well, this is interesting, because it's like, you get the discount on the annual subscription. So it's not just the, for one month, it's 30% off, it's 30% for the whole year. If you sign off, do you have to pay it off front? Is that so? Yeah, I think so.

Yeah, it looks like you have to pay off front, but I mean, that's 30% is what? Three months off the year? Three months off the year? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. It doesn't say you have to pay it off front, it just says 12 months. It's paramount for you. Okay, no, I think it's just a, it is what it is. Broken my computer in a second. Would you, would you cancel it? Would you cancel it? I'm going to cancel it, incidentally. That's actually what it may be. I'll give it a cancel, but later. Yeah, I think mine drops off in October anyway. So got a month to cancel it and see what it does. The other guy here says he got a secondary counter-export console. They saw $18 off of 12 months of next-wise game pass ultimate. Hmm. Cool. Yeah, so interesting, isn't it?

They're obviously struggling. Well, I think they're wanting to get more people back into the game pass. Ecosystem, because then those people are more likely to buy project elix. Yeah. I don't know if anyone's going to buy that. Ah, question. Are you buying the new iPhone? This is a complicated question, Lee. How much time do you have? What is it called? iPhone fold or something? Duo. The other. The geo, due because it's got two screens. Yes, just like the mark. Remember the Microsoft Surface Duo 2020. Yeah. This is funny. So in 2020, Microsoft showed off a dual screen laptop called the Neo. Yeah, and a dual phone called the duo. And now Apple have a MacBook Neo and a phone duo. Oh, Microsoft actually really ran out of ideas, aren't they?

The copy of Microsoft must begin. That's right. Unless Microsoft are doing so badly that they had to sell the name. It's the names. You'll see copyright Microsoft underneath for Apple's keynote. Yeah. Yeah. To sell the name to pay for AI. You saw the answer to the question, though. Oh, the iPhone 18 Pro comes in really bad colors. That's right. I forgot you're a color person. Where's burgundy? Burgundy. Burgundy. Who wants a burgundy for a brown red? Brown red? Yeah. It's just so like this one here. Good on screen. So the color. Look at that. I don't, I don't actually mind it. They're very pastel. The one that you're almost, they're very light. They're not very bright. No, then you got the scar blue. And I mean, look at mine. Mine is the deep blue, or the gen tape. Why, isn't it? And this, this blue, if they had the 18 in this blue, instant,

I would have been like, yeah, it's pre-ordered. What have you got there? What's that phone you got? What have you got? The same thing. This is the, the 17 Pro Max, the big boy. The $6,000 one. It's not quite. He's the, he's the baby of the big boys. Oh, okay. Only three and a half thousand. So the question I have for you though, which you serve as your audience ring, is are you going to get a Joe? I went, I went, I went. It looks so pretently, but one, I am not stupid. And I do not have, I do not have three and a half thousand. Is that what's going to be an Aussie? Three and a half thousand dollars. It's crazy. How much is it in New Zealand? It's like 4,000, three. I don't say, if you think that's a price, you wait till you get the New Zealand price. That's a price. So, I do want the German. Looks pretty good. It's 4,200 dollars. What?

Are you going to get one, Lee? You just, oh yeah, you got lots of money. You're going to go buy one, I'm going to buy two, one for each hand. Could you try that? I will say, if they, you're like four screens. Man, you're fantastic. You almost have the same amount of screen space as a laptop. 25 inch screen. I will say, in February, they're rumored to release the base model, A phone 18 and the next A phone air. If the A phone air 2 is not so much of a step down compared to the 17 Pro Max, then that might be my new phone. Because I have held an air Lee and they are very pretty. They're quite light. I'm aware they are. It's a color.

White. White or black? Black. Another black. The black is actually quite nice. It's like a deep blue, which is why I want it. I want all the storage. I want two terabytes of storage. That's almost $6,600. That's crazy. I will get. Oh, get Apple. That's another $630 on top of that. So you have that, too, please. Imagine the laptop or the computer you could buy for $7,000. $7,228. So I get my two terabytes plus my Apple Care for a year. I guess it's for a year or is it forever? So it's for the laugh of the device, I think. Okay. So that actually, that's $625. $28 is what I paid for my phone. But I'm using it here. So I can buy 10 of these phones, 11 of these phones, and still probably be less money than buying an iPhone. That's wrong with these people.

Oh, it's crazy, isn't it? Oh my god. Yeah, so $7,000. Yeah. But it is pretty. Oh, my god. But it is pretty. Looks so good. The opening animation Lee is just so Apple. It's so perfect. It's so beautiful. I just love how you just sucked into this. I love it. It's so good. That's why I wanted to just, I was trying to remember to remind myself to ask you, so I knew you'd have this reaction to it. But it's so pretty. It is so pretty. But the only thing I'm not buying new Apple gear this year because I'm being responsible and because it comes in bad colors. Right. Which one's first though of the priorities here? Colors of a word. Burgundy and baby blue. What? Come on. Are you a naked guy? I don't have to run any cases on your phones.

No, no, they're meant to be used. They're meant to be touched. They're meant to be felt. Oh, no. I see I always have the rubber, the C4 rubber. So you still get the design. But then if I drop it, what should I see into your lots? It just bounces. And I used to have that. Because there's a lip. There has a lip on it. No, it's nice. It's not slippery. This phone's really slippery as well. Yeah. So when keeps complaining that my phone is too slippery. Yeah, I don't like it. When I had it the first time, I dropped it when I first got it. Because it actually slipped out of my hand. I was like, ah, this is not going well. So I got a case for it. But this is not going well. This is not good. I've already changed the screen on that. The screen protect a thing. Because of a scratch, it's still over. I don't know what they did with the original one. But it likes being scratched. But it's not the screen. So it did its job, I guess. And team moves sells them for like, I brought two for like five dollars or so on. Team moves, all right. I was like, oh, it's. It's okay. So I think five bucks every 12 months.

But yes, I would also be getting a new watch if they had NAS colors. But Lee, like this watch, the series 10 is the Batman watch. It's shiny, you know, black. It just looks so nice. And then you look at the new colors. And they've got dark bronze and light gold. And they've got black, which is just so. It's not the Batman black. And then gray. Yeah. Yeah, who wants that? Is that the bronze one there? Is that on screen? Is it? Yes. Like who wants to wear that? That's not a pretty color. It looks like you know those people wear those bracelets of brass bracelets for their hearts or something. It's like one of those. Yes.

Like it's such an, it's an earthy color. Like if you're an earthy person, you're not going to be rocking an Apple watch. Because it doesn't align your chakras. Are you sure, though? Doesn't everyone love? Like all the women running around being super fit or Apple watches, though. Yeah. You wouldn't go for like a weird magenta color. Why are you just getting different color watch strap? Yeah. I am looking at like the titanium one because that comes in a really nice kind of like natural titanium color. And then ceramic, which also, wait, actually, no, that's not blue. It's not black. This is the thing. It's so bad. Oh, that's a sports watch, which is different.

I saw in this ceramic. That's ceramic, is it? Oh, it's like a, okay. Oh, is that, huh? Yes. No, that's what I'm talking about. I was at the watch series 12. You know, that's it there, isn't it? Ooh, look. Look, you can get like a material touch. Oh, man. There you go. That's you. I can see you. That's classy. It's got gold bits. Oh, yeah, totally. I got really well with my purse. That's not too bad, though. I don't, the color wise, is it? Like a swampy one. Yeah, that's the one I'm looking at. The titanium one. Yeah, that's not too bad. Yeah, the titanium one's not too bad. To me, you know, the problem I have with all these watches? What? The square. You know. It's just like lazy design. Like you can make nice, you can make a watch round, but you had to make it square because it's easier and cheaper.

So you have to redesign anything. And they're kind of stuck with it. Now it's just an Apple Watcher square and it just annoys me. It's a hoazard. They so nice that I love my Apple Watch. Gabe's got an old Samsung, one of the fitness Samsung's ones. She's had it on like four years now and it's awesome. And does everything you need it. So they. It's kind of interesting, but she's a little less like a watch. A little less like a watch. Interesting. I want to get the pebble. That's what I'm thinking. Oh, the pebble. Yeah, the new Pebble Watcher's really cool. Pebble round two, I think it is. I think it's not just like a watch. Weird. Imagine that having a weird, having a watch that looks like a watch. Yeah, I don't know. I like it simplicity. In fact, it's 200 bucks. I think that's awesome. I'm surprised you didn't go for like the withings because withings also do the round watches and they.

The withings are the withings. Withings look up withings. I am cheap. Not forget. Yeah, for $1,300. But the watches are actual like real watches. I can't pay actually a decent amount money for my watch. What was it? I can't remember what the fossil watch only lasted 12 months. And the fact is I'm giving up. I was like, yeah, this is not good. Because it was too early to first generation. A thousand dollars a month. A month. A thousand dollars for a phone. I don't think so. I'd rather buy Rolex. Look at the withings. The withings are asking you to say they're real watches with just a little screen in the back. And so you get all your notifications. You get your heart rate, sensing and everything. But they look like really high class watches. Yeah, I like them. I like the design. Yeah. I've got a withings scale. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I've got a withings scale.

And they're very good. Does it tweet? No, it doesn't beat me yet. I like watches. I always like watches. I don't know if he is, but I watch. I got a bit sad when my fossil died. I can't remember. Because there's more than cheap. And I was like, I just want to wait. Do I kind of? I kept it, but it's so sad. I want to see the background change on this. We've gone into a podcast about Apple now and watches. But hey. Yes. Because it's very cool, isn't it? I like it. No, I like it. It looks like a robot. I want to see what it does though. Like I can't see the background changing. Or is that just literally the color of the background changes? Get off Amazon. Go on to the real website. I just typed in withings, withings, withings.

You know what I love about withings as well? Yes, it has a subscription for your watch to watch. What do you like about withings as well? What do you need about it to make your watch work for withings? What does the owner, you get the subscription if you use the like AR stuff and the app? Oh, so the little screen is literally that little screen there at the top. That's it. That's interesting. So, yeah, you get a nice black one where you can't see the screen. It looks like a real watch. And you've got all the health monitoring and everything, but in a real watch. At a thousand dollars a pot. The style is not cheaply. Just look at Apple. No, no, that's a... That's more about the people buying the gear than the style, I think. Sure. Okay.

I like withings, but I don't know if I want to spend a thousand dollars on a bot. I'm bit cheap for that. That one lucky. Especially having stung spending like five or six million bucks on that faucet when it didn't last. Right here. I wonder how much... Okay, I'll look after the podcast. I wonder how much I could trade my watch in for and get a new one. Oh, probably quite a lot. What an export model. You mean like trade Apple watch and get a proper watch like a pebble? Obviously. No, trade my Apple watch in for a new Apple watch. Probably decent. Now. Oh, no, you're a bit late now. You should have done it yesterday. Yeah, I should have done it yesterday. So let's see. This is four six. You're killing the podcast completely. No, you just gone completely tangent. Oh, yes. What? How much? No, that's the model. Sorry. I don't know. Let me have a look and see what I can do here. Karen with the news.

Okay, cool. I read the news while Karl does that. Still series is launching a new controller coming out from still series, which is kind of cool. I think looks like it has all the options and the same price as the imaginary Xbox controller. The three. There's another going to come out. As. It's got a quick switch dock system for Xbox PC. So I put a you to switch controllers connections in platforms without needing cables or rewe're repairing wireless connections, which is cool because the current Xbox controller is a pain in the butt for changes in PC and Xbox. There's a quick. Oh, yes. Yes. It's very cool. It has hot software, but dual hot software batteries. So you just have where it just keeps going. It also has fast, precise controls, first rate triggers, mechanical switches, Hall Effect, Bums. All can be customized as a little onboard LOD, L-O-L-E-D screen.

So you do it with profiles. As modular sticks system, so you swap out the thumb sticks with standard concave, tall concave, short concave convex extra remafor contoured black buttons and a rough round textured grip. Where he's a good. Oh, he's at a halt. And also comes with this GG still series GG software suite that allows you to customize every aspect. You can button's triggering puts rumble sensitivity custom GG sonar integration power settings on the PC. And it's the same price as a. I'm pretty sure the lead control of three to is like 260 us is it all right. Yeah, I think it is like $200. Definitely. Yes, this is 260 us. I feel like it's about the same price, but you get so much more stuff. So much more stuff in the league. And I feel like it would last longer than the current one. Just having a look. This is very cool. Isn't it? Yeah, that's really cool.

I mean, my controller, the ghost cypher one is currently destroying batteries. Oh, sounds like a button's been pressed all the time, doesn't it? It's not that. Something like that. But what happens is if you leave batteries and overnight, the batteries are dead in the next morning. Even when the controller is living on its face, like. I know what it is. It's Jay. He's actually picking up and like leaning on it or sucking out a nice. I wish, but no, it's like it's destroyed a pair of rechargeable batteries. They're no longer charged because it just drained them overnight to the point where they cannot charge even. How long you even have that child controller? Oh, this is a maybe two years. It's not that bad. It's fine, but the battery just died. But that's major. Like, battery's not working. It's quite important. The new batteries. And this steel series, I've just had a look at its price in Australian dollars.

Take a wild guess how much Australian dollars it is. Oh, George, George. $530 Australian. I'll raise you. I'll just go and look at the how much is it. Actually, you probably can't buy any Zidens. I'm saying that. This is crazy. Well, that's a shame. No, no, it looks really nice. Like I was seriously considering one of these for 200 bucks. But for 500, well, they can keep it. I can't buy any Zidens. I can't buy any Zidens. It's crazy. I can change this to Zidens and see how much it costs. Oh, no, it refuses. Oh, you can't revive. It's second to get bought from the. Oh, no, here we go. $589. The price you paid for your phone for a controller, Lee, is it worth? That's right.

My first car I bought for 800 pounds, which is about two grand, I think, New Zealand. Crazy. Yeah, car. That's an actual car that does stuff more than just light. Yeah, it's bigger than you. It's bigger than you. It does not fit in your hand. I think it's cool because what I like about this though, you always get that kind of knock on effect to other ones. So pick up on it and then you'll get the like a cheaper version. So I'll make sure I have some of this stuff. Hopefully. Yeah. Let's get it's more than Microsoft are doing though. Yeah. So they're just doing an ask translucent green one. Oh, that's right. It should be coming soon. So drama we're buying the controller, the 25th anniversary controller. We haven't talked about this, have we? No, we haven't. This is a good tangent to go on the drama of trying to pre-order the series X 25 edition. Console as well as controller. So I was all excited.

Brands we went to PB Tech. I've been checking out the websites weren't when people take randomly went like. It's in stock one person one purchase only one person only one buy as I that's cool because it's limited edition cool. So I put in my order it went through. I was like, well, this is weird. I've just brought one excellent. Okay, and it's going to come October or fine. And then as it didn't who was it but Osborne as well. And kill brought one I think it was. Yeah, so cool, but they're in Aussie, aren't they? I thought there's an Aussie. Oh, this is good. People take obviously have a supply. I then get a call the next day, a call from PB Tech going. Unfortunately, we've made a bit of a cock up and they're given away the controller. Oh no, no, they emailed me first off and said, now that's right, they've read the email me and said, hey, we weren't giving. We're sorry, this is a cock up. We were actually selling these cannot consoles. They said we're giving them ways of sweepstakes. And I reply back going, but I brought a controller not a console. So are you sure?

Then she rang me and says, no, no, sorry, we met to put control of a console. I was like, whatever, okay, cool, whatever. So I just went and wrote it off. But then I did didn't go and join the sweepstake with sweepstake for JB Hi-Fi and for PB Tech. Does I get to have one this month at some point? And I got angry and then went, right, that's what I'm done. Not going to buy anymore Microsoft stuff for a bit now. Then that's me. And then I got a random phone call from PB Tech going, oh, this is like in the afternoon going, oh, actually, we've met a cock up and actually you can have the controller. The order's back on again. I was like, oh, you're just, what is it with Microsoft and buying something that you're, I feel like I've got money. Here's my money. Oh, no, we don't want you money. It's fine. It's okay. I then got an email going later on going, oh, no, it's all right. To be confirmed, then I got an email the next day, right, yeah, everything's back on order. It's already ago and then I got a reminder that I've ordered it yesterday. I was like, oh, right. Okay. So it's actually is happening. Possibly. Who knows?

Who knows? Yeah. It's something might appear. Exactly. It's Microsoft. So anything can happen in the next one month or so five weeks. Crazy. Yeah. And the console's also out before they came online, didn't they? Yes, three, three minutes before they went on, live on the store, they were all sold out. Thanks to the bots. That's amazing. Good Microsoft did a really good job there. I make sure that people that wanted them got them. Yeah. People had exports counts had it because my folks actually were really good. Think that they were, whether you were buying, I think it was. What was it that was selling something? I know steam wasn't it steam deck two when that first came out. Switch, switch two. Only if you'd had an account with them for longer than X amount of time and played X amount of hours like a hundred hours online in the last 12 months. Yeah. That's actually really cool. That's a really good way of doing it. And it was back dated like you couldn't just say, oh, do all my hours now. Like it was from June or something that year and the thing was coming out in October.

So that's cool. And that's that's what they should have done. They should have been like, we have limited editions. Let's find everyone who's got, you know, so many gamers score so many achievements has been with us for so many years. Randomize it. Right. And then send out just emails to random people saying you're invited to pre-order this. And if a person doesn't respond and say in 24 hours, randomize and send the email out to another person, you know. No, even easier than that. You want you do is you go watch your Xbox Live account as they kind by it. And then they go and checking it so notes and say, oh, this person obviously doesn't game. So they can buy one. That's it. Yes. Then just if people want to buy one, they can go buy it if they can't then. Yeah. No, random. Just just make it available. And if you can prove you actually play the Xbox, then that's cool. Yeah. Oh, man. There's so many things they could have done to make it better. And each console's numbered.

So they can go on to eBay and they can be like, oh, console number 34 is for sale. The pre-orders for sale. Let's cancel console number 34 and throw it back into the pool. Hmm. Like, I don't understand why they can't do that. Because they don't care. They don't. No, they don't. They got their money. They got their bank. They don't care. They don't care. You don't care, Mark. No, you don't care. You keep proving it again and again. Oh, again and again. Oh, it's open. Let's go. Okay. Cool. This is interesting. So Blizzard workers have won the historic, they have a stock union contract contract that could set a new standard for game devs. Blizzard workers have secured AR guard rails and new protections against layoffs. Interesting. A group of 1900 employees at Blizzard Entertainment has successfully signed a union contract Microsoft. Securing several guarantees for members. One of the big ones is AI guard rails as contract stipulates that Microsoft cannot use AI to

automate or replace jobs. We're at first talking to the union. Another big winner, job recall rights for employees because they laid off. Blizzard must offer them an open role in 40 months inside the union network before hiring someone else outside the lab. So that's like if you get married, redundant, that job source to disappear. We can't go employing someone else to the same job, but they're saying, if you're going to do that, you've got to employ offered to the people you've actually fired previously. Layoff unions will get an extra four weeks of pay regardless of how long they worked at the company. Hybrid schedules allow them to work from home, formal systems to settle disputes within the workplace. It seems pretty good. I feel like it's, you know, when Microsoft and Layoff, all those people, do you think that this is going to happen? So there's laid off much people before this came in? Maybe. But it's pretty funny. Like some of the stuff where they like, they say, you can't use AI to automate or replace

jobs without first talking to the union. It's very much sounds like you promised to talk to the horses before you build any more cars. It's like, well, if your job can be automated via AI, well, then maybe you're not so special. Wow. See, it should be in addition to someone's job. Shouldn't we replace them? We should be able to add to their work. Yeah, but I mean, if your job is basically click here, drag email into this folder and you're doing that for eight hours a day, you're really not that important, right? Yeah. Wow. That's what I do all day long, though. I just move stuff around. Someone asked me today, how's your job going? I said, that's good. I've been moving stuff around. And he's a truck driver. I said, like you, I just move stuff. I move things from one place to another and people see me doing it and it looks like I'm busy. It's all virtual. It's not like you and your big truck.

This is, I just interesting. I thought it was quite interesting because the whole union thing is kind of kicking off a little bit. Yeah, there's lots of unions going on. And it seems like the gaming dev community, not community, the employees are kind of standard izing on, you know, you've got the standardizing around Unreal Engine 5. You've got the standardizing of being able to just pick up any person who's ever touched Unreal Engine and drop them into any game studio. And I don't know, you can't lose a lot of artistic freedom. Of course you can. Well, because the tool people work around the tools, don't they? Like, there are those limitations. They'll do some more cool stuff to make something work. But if I only use the same tool, then there's nothing special about it. It's not. It's like Doom was built in a real interesting way because there was no tools for it. I was all new. So, yeah, it's interesting. What do you think of it, Lee? What I think of Unreal Engine?

I've never heard of this whole union nonsense. Oh, I think it's good. I think it's a good thing to do. It's not going to hurt them. There might have been late off recently, it's insane. So it's good they have some sort of protection. But at least the union now evolved. Like Brian, if people are just getting late off, aren't they? And Microsoft does talk to unions. It's people like PlayStation and Ubisoft and people that don't talk to unions are going to find it interesting if they start selling people again. I saw Donuts possibly shutting down. There's no one that we said about that. Because people are though. People love it. It's hell of a good. There's no one else. There was no one else. There was no one that was closing down. There was nothing in there. There were too many people. There's two. They came up to people being laid off again. And it was all like one of them was like they sneakily laid off some people and they've done this. It was like a cancelled project, laid off some bunch of people. Oh, yeah. They just need to reset because it's so expensive making games. That's a problem. It shouldn't take five years to make a game.

That's what the issue is. Yeah, I really, I thought the gaming industry really needs a crash and burn for a good reset, I think. You think about 2007? How many games got released in 2007? Like Mass Effect got released. One, two and three, and three years of each other. Then ridiculously sized games. Like they'd never do that now. No, no, no. It's going to take like five years to make one and then it's going to come out and not be really bad. Yeah, and then this one two years fixing it. And then they might talk about doing the next one. And then three years, like so you're like a 10 year work span of two games. Yes. But was that knocking at that 2007 year was insane the games that came out that year? Yeah, it was crazy. Like it was a very good year for games. And I don't know why it's not that good because those games are all on different engines, different studios, different teams. Yeah. And they're all massive, like the way little games coming out. They get even battles. Gate came out, Half-Life came out. There's another, it's about three games and like 97 was the same. It's like three four real massive change of a change of industry games will come out at the same time.

But then it's been decades making them because they haven't been around for like two years at that point of about a game, especially. Like it's quite early on in the time of graphics. Yeah. Yeah. And it's just money. I think it's all the people at the top getting paid lots of money and that kind of breaks it. Yeah. And like what was that? We also covered that new story where there was like how many layers of bureaucracy to get to. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, to the top. Yeah, Microsoft wasn't it? It's like 20 layers of them. Same, wasn't it? Yeah. And get rid of that nonsense. You want like there's a there's a cool new YouTube channel I found, which is a person who used to be a project manager for the Halo studio. What were they called in the beginning, Bungie. Hmm. And basically she said we had 16 devs and my job was to stop management from talking to the devs so they could do their work. And she's like compare the Halo the first one that was made with like a hundred people to Halo remake, which doesn't have multiplayer doesn't is missing all the stuff and has got something like a thousand devs on it.

Yep. And it's on real engine so supposedly what you just said earlier was on your engine everyone knows how to use it so yeah, you shouldn't require a thousand devs. That's ridiculous. No, and it's a remake it's like you should literally drop the assets and like build them an Unreal engine and the way you go. Use AI. Yeah, it's crazy. Oh, I don't know what. Yeah, the whole union thing back. I don't know they they. If these guys were important enough to be continuously employed and they would have still been employed. No, I don't think it works or that it's too black and white because they will just let lay people off because it looks good for the numbers, especially Microsoft will aim people off. Yeah, because the share price looks like it when you lay people off, but you still make money because that means you're doing really a job.

You don't need people see less costs more profits. Brilliant. So your share price goes on. Yeah, but was it lizard that were. There was one company or no, maybe it was the Thursday that were protesting Microsoft's layoffs and these guys were talking about how they've been building. Games with Bethesda they've been part of making these worlds and the people that Microsoft laid off I think the the oldest employee was there for four years. And you go in four years. What have you been working on because Bethesda's only released one game in four years. So what's the intro of Microsoft is they say they're left like 2000 people. If you look at it, they're actually employed 2000 people, but just in different parts. So then numbers have been around about the same the whole time. Because they just read or do not know more than they read to us everything. That's what they're employing people for so they're not switching their teams around. Yeah, because all such a just loves AI.

Yeah, oh yeah. It's all fake money at the moment. Yep. Well, the bubble will pop at some point. I know. I'm going from a hard truck. I don't know if it's going down the prices and saying. Just want to. I just want to build a desktop computer and the reason will cost you know. Man, I saw a notice of one guy who's trying to buy steel beams. And there's a certain steel beam that's used in data center construction. And this guy says you cannot buy the steel beam because they have guaranteed purchase orders out to 2032. So someone's got a break or someone doesn't know that's insane. Yeah, that's nice. So for the next what's that six years? Mm hmm. They say it's for the next six years you cannot get these steel beams at all because everyone that's being made has been already pre-sold to build data centers. And that's like that's it with memory that's it with hard drives.

So. Crazy. Yeah, that's insane. Yeah, I've been trying to upgrade my I'm flex over needs a few upgrades to it and just trying to get some more memory or need to replace my main drive. The C jobs got a bad section. It's five years old. The SSD got good bad sexes. Oh, I should replace it with an M2 just put something quicker in there. $160 is the cheapest 500 gig I can get. Oh, it's crazy. Yeah. What a weird world we live in. Yeah, because also it was like a gig a terabyte was like less about a hundred bucks wasn't at one point. Yeah, for a while. Yeah, less. Yeah, because you're paying I think it was down to like four cents a gig. Was it really hard was worked out? It's really funny though because people trying to sell second-hand gear and they're selling it for more than you actually about branding. Because they just go on oh well that's quite a bunch of money. I'll just check on here. I'm guessing people are paying the money because they keep doing it.

Yeah. Man. Oh, well, maybe it's time to sell the clicks over and buy another. No, I've got 61 terabytes. I'll probably get a bit of money for that. No. Okay, continue on. Let's go. Xbox is quite a turning nostalgia. Identity and cloud gaming into as big as console advantages. This is I want your fortunes because you're well into nostalgia stuff. Where's the list of things you can do so. What do you give me a list here? Okay, so you can change the startup animation from different areas of your Xbox history. If you want to. Mm hmm. You can up to 440 p.m. streaming. 5 bit rates remote play. That's quite nice. Is it though 15 hours a week? I'm upside. And a remote remote play is from your console, not from the cloud. Oh, that's true. So it doesn't affect it.

Oh, that's actually yeah. Okay. So that's pretty good. That's actually pretty good because I do that sometimes. Very handy. You can also now you can do profile customizations. Right. Users can choose which achievements and badges are visible and which remain private. Nice. Yeah, sure. Play your games we want. Show off your profile how you want. Site your console how you want. Exit your library how you want. Zool stuff they've been bringing out basically. So you kind of take more control of it. And also a new voice clarity feature for the series X and S. Reduce background noise and prove voice communication in party chat. Oh, cool. Yeah. Yes. What do you think you're excited? I like the idea of showing off your badges. Like that's really nice. Hmm. There's your badges are yeah. Yeah, show off your badges. The whole startup thing would be cool if you could go all the way back to the original. Original Xbox.

Yes. Because that imagine pying on your series S and it does that whole that the original pulse. To get to the Xbox or even just the 360 animation would be cool. But it's only goes back to like Xbox one one X then Xbox series X and S and then the whole we are Xbox which is the new green. Like good for all of them. Does it say what you can choose doesn't say what you can choose. Oh, well, there you go look. Yeah. So you can go default Xbox one one X series access or we are Xbox. Yeah. If they if they had brought back the original Xbox boot up I think everyone would have changed to that because that was so cool. I missed a part as well. They're doing you can now Xbox and so is going to continue downloading games in the background while streaming.

That's nice. Yeah, yeah, definitely. Cool. Yeah, pretty good. Good work. I like how Escher's coming in basically every month there's a new update for Xbox now. Yeah. Yes. I wonder was it management sitting on the waiting for her to come in making look like she has to do. Or was it feel just sick of it. Now there must have been something going on in the background because there's no way they could have set on all these improvements and just gone we're not releasing them. Of course, it could. Of course, it can. Well, feel been very quiet isn't it like he used to be all Xbox is Twitter as X account was awful of gaming and all sorts of cool stuff and it all just died just stopped all of a sudden. Yeah. Somebody came in and helped him or when didn't they Sarah was an awakened. Oh yeah, good old good old miss bond Xbox at Tokyo Game Show 2026.

So we had to find action packed broadcast. Minecraft Dungeons on the show Xbox fan fest in Tokyo. So this is a September 17th, which is a week. Yeah. 3 o'clock morning specific on a what on the 12th set and we get 10 pm here. It actually means I can probably watch it, which would be nice. That'll be interesting. So they can have a Minecraft Dungeons 2. And that's all that says that's actually a Minecraft Dungeons 2 call duty model for four. Yeah. And first tune your foes you can watch the wing live. Cool. Well, they'll be interesting. I wonder what more they could show. Yeah, yeah, well, I guess there's kind of knocking down to the stuff coming out in October now. Well, they know them but on the 25th more that sort of one. But they're again the Japanese stuff is always a little bit different. There's always a bit more obviously Japanese games in there.

I'm just reading the thing at the bottom that says, CoStreamer and Content Creator Notes. And they're basically saying, we recommend you do not use any audio containing copyrighted music to avoid any action. Oh, yeah, no, we get that all the time. Yeah, yeah. And the idea is like, hey, we could do a live reaction to it. When is it? Yeah, I'd love to do that. I did it with a little one time. I think it's 10 o'clock. It's 11 o'clock. Let me just walk time. So it's on. Let's just check back into a Google's. What does it say? Google it. Give me the answer. Your title. Yes, it is. Oh, so that's the September 17th at 8 p.m. Melbentown. Oh, so it's 10 p.m. So you'll be able to talk right to the 10 p.m.

It's podcast night. Hey, we could just make a late podcast. That's hilarious. It's someone said, 10% yeah, it is. We could do podcast next week. Next week could be our live reaction to Xbox Tokyo. Yeah, well, that's fun. Cool. It'll be very long. The only like 45 minutes, aren't they? They're pretty short. Yeah, you're pretty fun. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Easy. Cool. All right. Cool, thank you. Excellent. I like it. Thank you. Thank you internet for telling me all this stuff. Not. All right, cool. That's very good. Nope, that's not done that story already. I don't know about this story. There's a few. This is a bit weird because it seems to be changing quite quickly. So this story says Square Enix and Ubisoft have reportedly opted out of the Xbox digital program. But then I've seen Ubisoft and now reportedly signed up for this to just this to digital program.

Yes, but only for some games, not all of them. Yeah, so I think it's changing all because it's only in beta as well. So it's just a rolling. I put the story in and then kind of had regrets, but therefore it's good to talk about anyway, because it's happening. Yeah, it's good to see that because it's an opt-in service for the publishers that publishers are actually going through and opting in. It's just interesting that it's they're opting in with certain things. I think it's a new business. Sure, let's just go and load just put these in there, make sure it works properly and then we'll do the rest. I don't see why they wouldn't let this happen. Yeah. Because they're probably saying, we'll just make sure this doesn't go wrong and we lose all the contract, a contract to our games. Maybe that's what they do. Yeah, but I mean, the way it's laid out is pretty eat like good, you know, the way that the license kind of follows the disc around. So a lot of thought has been put into it. So I don't think they need to worry too much about it. Yeah, but you know.

And they're French as well. Yeah, that's true. So this is a bit of a non-story, but the digital thing is kicking off. It's really cool. I'll be interested to see how it works because I've got a whole bunch of discs. I like discs. So I still have some. And I mean, I was looking because of this. I've been looking at like discs as well. And you can get monster hunter wild steel book edition for like $39. Yeah, that's cheaper than even on sale. I was like, that's a great idea. Yeah, yeah, sure. You get the digital license and then you get to display your steel book. I got soap on for eight bucks. I think it was like the laws of the soap bank. When everyone hates a soap, I was like, I'm going to pick this up. That's that curiosity. And then waited and 2.0 came out a long after. I was like, perfect timing. It was eight laws and disc. All about the deal.

This is very weird. Okay, so very weird, very Microsoft. So you know all the tariffs that came out. For a Microsoft, a full and Nintendo example, Sony and Microsoft argue they have no obligation to pass tariffs refunds onto customers. So people got charged more money. And remember the prices went up for the consoles. And they said at the time, because of market forces or some of that. The ones I used. Market forces was a fantastic way of putting it. Yeah, which is basically because tariffs, that's kind of what they were saying. So the task would then towed the legal and you cannot put tariffs or stuff. So the task got reversed. Microsoft got refunded the money and then kept the money. That's amazing. So there's a class action on the moment saying that well, actually you should be refunding people that bought stuff in that period of time because you basically double debt. You've got your profit and you've got your refund at the same time.

So they're saying, no, we don't do that. How about no, Scott? Scott. No, but yeah, so they did not noticeably. They did not specifically say tariffs, but they said it was challenging economic environment was what they used to make. Market conditions and rising cost of development. It's just the job of an rifle like three or four years, but this time the console. So that's rubbish. Yep, the debt was done. So yeah, it'll be interesting to see what happens. Again, never interesting story like kind of. It could end up being quite funny. This might be very interesting. Because after things are present here, precedent here was right because there's a whole bunch of companies did this. And put all the prices and the prices have stayed high since they haven't gone back against the staff discipline. They've all raised the process and they've gone, yeah, market conditions.

Yeah, cool. So what I'm keeping on this because I think it's hilarious. Gone screw the big companies ripping us off all the time. Not going to buy that 15 Xbox basically giving 50 hours of. To ultimate subscribers. It's a weird story because I've been told that if you're an existing subscriber, you'll find, but I had an email saying, oh, we're dropping yours to another 15 hours. So I don't know what's going on. So the reason that some people are getting 15 hours and some people are being told that there isn't changing is because they live in certain countries that have consumer rights laws that stop the Microsoft from doing this Australia is one of those companies or cannot companies, one of those countries that has these consumer laws, which means Microsoft, if Microsoft were to do this, they would be breaking the consumer law and they'll be able to be. So what New Zealand does not care versus New Zealand does not care, but Australia does, which is why if you're a game pass subscriber on an Australia,

your gaming time, like for your cloud streaming is not being affected. You're in New Zealand. If dinner was on ultimate, 10 hours for premium and five hours for Game Pass essential. It's basically Microsoft have to follow the law for the countries that. That's what happens saying I was doing that they were trying to do something out and I think it was all these together. Yeah, I think that was with the office price change when they included co-pilot. They forced Microsoft to show the classic pricing. Yeah, which was cheaper than slices because it was all slack wasn't it was actually cheaper than slack anyway, so made no sense. Here you go, this is for you. I know how much you're GTA. So no pixel V is coming out for GTA 5 role playing community. What is this so exciting possibilities and passion in the creators greater communities brings expanse one brings to expand upon the world of GTA 5 and red dead to.

It's a role playing. So the problem is how they're going to create the problem. So basically it turns GTA 5 into community run multiplayer version of Los Santos where players can create their own characters tell their own stories in a dynamic shared world. The civilians pursuing it honest living to criminals chasing their next score. The player run police force keep them in check every player helps shape the city every relationship that matters. I just interesting. It's just like what was it called next life was it called that real bad. Second life second life is just GTA 5 second life. Yes, I don't understand it. What is this? I just I just loved it. I thought that this is amazing. I love this because cars really into GTA. I love GTA. Grade game. So you can now create your characters a unique backstories while new corner city from the brand new pixel hotel and casino to six blocks.

We have the cypress flats set the station new stories. And came the burger shot tracksuit and one and a half million dollar GTA with the twitch drops. So you know if you watch anytime in September you get some money. Thoughts are you excited to go to GTA and pretend to be a burger joint owner? You know me Liam over the moon. More GTA in our life please. That's what I really want. That's a good job to do. It's stories here in design and the grocery we don't know is all about the 25th anniversary stuff to we because we talked about that really. We've talked about it. Brand new $1300 handheld thing coming out. Oh over the weekend we went and got hands on with the ROG Xbox LI X. Oh not X20 just the X. Not just the X. This is this is the very pretty.

Yeah, just the X. And it's a very very nice device. I think it's one of those where you can go man I could totally see myself getting one and like this is just playing games in bed even though the Xbox is over there. I know I've been since selling a house I'm like that can be quite a cool thing to go and see just like put by 50 bucks a week for it. Just kind of go and then buy one in six months just to put somebody it's like actually buy one now. I've like money now because I've actually got money now spare which is weird. It's like actually going by stuff like this. Do I want to buy one because how much were I use it that's a question like you said the Xbox is not far away. I don't really go on a bus anyway. I don't go on a train anyway. I can't do it on my desk working because people are staring me. Yes. But in saying that like man I'm on the train almost two hours a day of that I can probably play for like 45 minutes.

Yeah, the batch you were starting arrangements. But still so does this 15 hours not fix you because Australia but it's just this 15 hours of streaming affect the rogue ally X. Does it install games or does it actually just stream them. It just it installs it's a Windows PC so just installs the Xbox. Yeah, okay, so you can play it offline or. Yeah, so you can do like clear obscure city skylands, frostpunk persona. Anything with play anywhere as well like doom. Oh yeah, so I think it'd be cool. I think it'd be cool. I'm a bit blind though. There's also that and bit blind. The screen is really nice though. It is good. I was looking at it and going this is a NASA screen. Because we were looking at it going maybe Simone should get one and then she doesn't need an Xbox if we play together Xbox play anywhere and then cross play. Oh, can you plug it just HDMI cable into another screen for. Yeah, yeah, it's got like USB-C out and all the rest.

So you don't need to use plug that into it and then have that. As the controller or have controller plugged into it maybe you can Bluetooth to it or control it into it and just have it as like a switch. Yeah, basically. It's a very nice device and I'm looking at it again. It's very cool. I saw you buy one or somebody who went bought one for no reason and then decided they didn't want one. That'd be the way they go. That's exactly what the point is. She wants to buy a second hand one to see how much we could actually use it. Yeah, that's it. I think they're really cool but I don't know if I'd use it enough. I don't think my life doesn't rewarrant. I'm going to contribute to someone. I would like to. $1800.90. Someone's selling one second hand for $1900. But then you could buy one for $18. So there's that. I love it. I loved it with me. Yeah, there's $1500.5000. So not really. Then lots of cases. Yeah, $1500.00 seems with the cheapest.

So the new one has come out called the ROG Ally X20 is $1300 US. Jeez. Yeah, something's like a money for a handheld. What does it come with? So October 15th, is it much different from the two? $1700.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00. $1700.00.00.00.00.00.00. The X20's Ryzen A102. Stream Process. 24GB of memory, did you have $5GB of $1.00? How about storage? It's the same one. It's just got a different case by the looks of it. Asus is offering a $2,400 bundle that contains the handheld. ROG Extreme. What's that R2 Edition 20AR glasses? Oh, and custom D-brand Kill Switch, Anna Charger. Just saying a Charger. 68W Charger. I guess fast charger. And a case for it.

I know it is an instant update. So the screen's better. The OLED display is arguably the X20's most immediate no-swilt grade over the existing ROG X Ally. It's not the only change. We've added TMR Joysticks, transforming D-pad, rounded face buttons, and proof bumper and triggers were brought to you. Oh, they've upgraded up a bit. There's now 100% DCIP3 coverage, anti-reflective coating. That's good. Same battery. So it's going to die quicker. OK, and then some gold accents because it's 20% actually. OK. It's 300 bucks more. Yeah, so it's basically the OLED display in redesigned controls, which are an extra $300. Yes. Yeah. I'm going to put a battery up. Because that OLED is going to suck the power, isn't it?

Oh, OLED is good for battery. LED is terrible. Oh, is that right? OK. Yeah, no. OLED is great. OLED subs power LCD. Those are the ones that really draw lots of power. So it's $2,000 new here. Yeah. Oh, man. It is tempting. It is tempting. They're cool. They are cool, definitely. Do you really need one? That's me. I'm done. Cool. I like games. That was it. So? It was a long game. New games. We haven't done new games for a while. Yeah, we should do new games. You've got like 25 minutes to hit two hours. OK. New games. So these are the games coming out this week. I'm not going to go back and do the history of new games, because you can go back and look back at the old games

if you really wanted to. Looking us off this week. That's not new games. Old games, isn't it? Well, the true. That's old games. We're just dealing with new games now. Exactly. So skating out in first place is in HL27, the EA sports National Hockey League game is out. And you can play it. And if you like ass hockey, then good for you, I suppose. Wow. It's a fat one ass. That's quite aggressive. like passive aggressor there. Well, I mean, I'm not a hockey fan. So, you know, someone, someone might be, it's not me. I used to play this game back in the day, not this one, but obviously, but like a one hockey game, it was real fun. It's three, three games, three, because that's all you could handle. It was real fun though, because you just being used to rub. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It's a fart on ass. I went to go see a love ass hockey game in Melbourne here the other day. That was, yeah, that was lots of fun.

People just kept farting and sticks broken. That was great fun. I'd rather watch a hockey game than play a hockey game though. Yeah, no, I think I might die. There's no big boys there. Yeah. It's a typical EA game. You've got extra add-ons, you can buy money and I don't know what else you can do. It's basically, it does what it says on the tin. EA sports is in the game. It's in the game. Next up, we have the Royal Rit. You don't just play cards, you command them on the battlefield. Place your loyal subjects strategically as they advance towards the enemy, dealing damage, but beware, any card that reaches the enemy base before victory is permanently destroyed and removed from your deck for the rest of your run. Sacrifice isn't just a risk. It's an essential strategy that creates memorable substories with each run. Will you honor the subjects who gave everything for your cause? Every fallen card tells a tale and their glory lives on in the legacy you build.

Okay, so it's a card game. A deck builder. A deck builder. It's kind of fun. I like the graphics. I like the graphics. I do like a good deck builder. Yeah. Oh man. I was trying to look up these images and stuff, but Australia government has decided on a bit of a tangent that you need to now verify your age with a single thing you do. Take a wild guess how the government has said companies need to verify people's ages. I know. A picture of your face. No, that would be too easy. Try again. I'm guessing you have to upload some documents like your driver's license or something like that. No, no, no, you can't even do that. They won't accept your driver's license. Do they actually need 20 questions? How's some of that?

No, you need to upload your credit card details. What? Because in Australia, only those over 18 can get a credit card. That seems like a really good idea. So you're going to trust some company that you don't know with your credit card details. Yes, that's that's their plan. Upload your credit card details to some random company that can then pass those details onto the government. No, I'm actually thinking they'll get hacked. Then millions and millions of cards will leak out into the world world. Because if I was a hacker, I'd be trying to hack that company now. Oh, for sure. So guess what, Lee, I don't have a credit card. I do not. So you don't exist. No, so I can't verify my age with these companies because they have decided that credit cards are the only way to verify your age.

What did you get? Did you get? Did you get? I've just got a gift card. I get an insurance for my new card. I've got a gift card. Just go. But it's a credit card. Like it's pretend credit card to know the ones that they have the numbers like credit card and use it. It's basically a visa debit card. Well, if you could use one of those. Maybe I should have a look at that because one, I don't want to credit card. No. Two, I'm not going to upload a credit card details to some company to verify my age. So I can buy Xbox games. No. Man, the government here is... I wanted to know exactly what you're doing in track here. They're terrible. Honestly, brush straight to the living area. So you're thinking about New Zealanders. They're really, really slow. So we're probably going to bring this in. But it'd be about like 20 years or no. Like no one will think because it would be so slow. But I think New Zealand's a bit more chill. They'll send a credit card in the mail for you. Did they work?

Yes. They would. Yes. Okay. So, next one, come on. Keep going. The Royal Rit. Next up is Halloween the game. If this sounds like a game you've played before, probably is. What? Halloween. Is there a space on part of the 13th for so? No. Yeah, Friday the 13th. But it's Halloween night, 1978. The unsuspecting families of the quiet suburban town of Hedenfield are making holiday preparations. An evil has made its way home. Take the shape of evil as Michael Myers or save your neighbours as a hero of Hedenfield in Halloween. The ultimate asymmetrical horror sandbox. As Marco, players wear the mask, become the Boogieman, and stalk innocent residents with relentless obsession, utilizing a not-mersh array of abilities. Marco leverishes shadows and stealth to satisfy his bloodthirst.

This doesn't mean Hedenfield is going down without a fart. Frightened town's folk will call the local authorities and even fart back when threatened. Incentiveizing Marco to avoid detection. Wow, so this won't be many. Yeah, one V-mini game. It could be quite fun. Yeah. Yes, I don't know. I don't know. I feel like it could be. But it could get boring quite quickly. I don't know. I think these one V-mini games are very well balanced. If you're clever, you can work out. You can either fart him or you can become him and do really well. Yeah. Interesting. Is it random who becomes which character? I don't know. Be quite cool. Okay.

Next up. One more watching the same video again. No, it's just a really long video. Interesting. Now this game, we've spoken about before I'm pretty sure. This is Muginix. Muginix. When you build the ultimate cat army through tactical breeding and send them into deep challenging turn based adventures. Not. But I do know this game for some reason. I'm sure we've spoken about. I think they're talking about in Discord. I think they're talking about in Discord. No, I'm pretty sure we spoke about. I put it in here because I was like, this little joggley's memory. We've seen this before. No. Well, listen, if we have spoken about Muginix, then please remind me. You know, let us know. Because this is the crazy game with like, yeah, breeding weird cats. That's new genix, isn't it? But they've changed it to Nioh. Yeah. Okay, next up is Hot Wheels Infinite Rush. Oh, this is a racing car game. Everybody loves Hot Wheels.

It's not the third Hot Wheels game in the last five years or so. Yeah, Hot Wheels is on a roll. Yeah. On the right track. It looks. It looks quite cool. It's got that classic Hot Wheels look. I love the the brad colors of it. The crazy cars, the crazy tracks. What's not to us? Is this a top down? Is it different? Is it different to the other ones? I think it's the normal one. Oh, it's no fun word. Oh, nice. Or is it? Is it? I don't know. It's like, it's like, it's some gameplay. Yeah, it's not. It's all a bit more open-worldly. It's an open, it's an actual world rather than being miniature. Because the other one was miniature, wasn't it? It was all kind of miniature stuff. You've done like, sink tables and tape whatever, like, like machines or something. Yeah, yeah. But this actually look like a proper world. Yeah, this looks really cool.

Yeah. Man. Okay. All right. Here's a game for you, Mr Lee. Train some world seven deluxe edition. You really know how to bring it, Carl. What's there to say about train some world that we haven't said before? I want you to do top gear. Have you seen that? No, it's not. Grand design, a grand tour. It has that weird train boy on it. There's no grand tour. Have you missed the whole grand tour thing? Yes. There's an edge grand tour. The three original guys have disappeared. They've been replaced by three of them. One of those are real geeky nerdy type, fully autistic. Those trains and we'll like look at a train ago. That's the so and so and so train. It's like this is about an orange age. In every country, it's the same. You get super excited about trains everywhere. Supernode. So you know this. You should play this game. You probably have to play this game.

He probably has this on pre-order. And he probably has a like a pretend train he sits in, which actually has all the screens. Uh, with the proper controls and everything. Mm-hmm. Fantastic. And last on our list is another game for you Lee. Bus simulator 27. Oh, this is a large. The green graphics I'm playing at the start of the podcast had this. Nice. You knew. Uh, the teaser. Bus simulator 27. You look forward to the most comprehensive and advanced bus fleet in the history of the series so far. More than 45 officially in licensed buses from 13 world famous manufacturers. All the figures, isn't it? All the numbers. All the numbers. Basically any bus you want to drive, you can now drive. And for the first time ever in the series,

you can get behind the wheel of impressive coast buses and enjoy long distance journeys. Who do you want to spare 27 hours driving and making fun of? Actually, I want to drive from like the UK all the way to Poland. Can I do that? You probably could. Oh, man. And there's even his classic region articulated and double deck of buses. There's even new electric buses. If you like buses, man, this is your game. I'm excited. Says to the big one. Well, that's it. That's all the games I have this week. Those are the best, by the way. Those are the best. They were games. So the coaches they are technically classified as games. Have I seen the coaches in this video? Well, goodbye. Nice. Awesome.

Good work. It's getting late now. Cool. It's getting late. Lee's tired. He's not impressed with the buses that we're going to bus out of here. Gonna catch a bus and get out of here. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So on that note, everyone, thanks for hanging out. Thanks for listening. We do live stream the podcast on Twitch every Thursday night. Australia New Zealand time.
