Who will advance? Keep up its playoffs.
Tune in Tuesday, March 17th at 6.30pm and 9.00pm only on ESPN and the ESPN app.
Tuller Bull Tuesday. Tuller Bull Tuesday.
We got a little slate coming in, but I was nervous. I was going to pick up, but it's just
ice crystals. What are we got?
You know, this is March 1st. I'm going to hear the other day.
The first thing I see on Sunday morning is sleep near us.
It's freaking ice coming from the sky and it's just coming all week long.
Like, what the hell, man? What the hell?
Stick it in. I really am getting so done with all of it.
John's going to be on a dizzy cruise.
Ride by Benizuela. I don't think he's riding by Benizuela.
899-393776. You can get involved in the show in the easiest way to do that.
It's on the ESPN New York check over on the YouTube page.
Get your comments in and we will get to them. We will comment on them and we will have a
score if you will. This morning we appear to have a bigel with cream cheese.
I'm hungry today, man.
Last couple of days.
Yeah, last couple of days. What's going on?
I worked out though.
Well, so did I.
But usually, my appetite is present. Maybe I'm growing.
All right, so hang on a second here.
We've got a bigel with cream cheese.
We've got some fire jalapeno roasted chips.
These days are hot. Take one of these.
Hash browns. Instead, it's when you sneeze, eat one of those. See how hot they are.
They're like the one chip challenge.
No, no, I didn't like you know, sometimes from chip to friends.
They somebody spray too much dust on them.
Are those the big?
They mention jalapeno chips.
Yeah, but but but usually, usually they're not as hot.
Like it's extra spice, right? Make you want to sneeze, right?
Hop. Make you want to sneeze.
Yeah, go ahead and let it out.
Okay, what? I'm not sneezing yet, but I will in a minute.
It's also tag Tuesdays.
And it's tag Tuesdays.
Oh, by the way, I do want to give you this programming note before we get to that.
Yes, holy crap.
Told you.
I'm not an episode of hot ones.
Yeah, man. Hang on, man.
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
What are we doing? That's one chip.
It doesn't even. Oh, this is jalapeno. It doesn't say extra hot.
Yeah, that is the hottest damn chip.
I have ever had that is not marked as extra hot chip.
Somebody somebody don't even say flaming Cheetos.
Somebody somebody hit the extra hot.
Somebody hit the extra spray button.
Oh my god.
Holy crap.
Stay okay. I've been down before.
I got it for you.
Thursday, noon.
I don't want to hear anything from you.
I can't eat this. I can't eat that.
I'm cutting this. I'm doing that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not a damn word.
I'm ready.
Another live Carlin's corner table.
I'm ready.
In studio, there is a store that is famous in Los Angeles.
Ah, that has just opened in New York.
Holy moly donut shop.
That's what they know it from.
Holy moly donut shop.
The place that they shot.
In Friday after next.
Hey, buddy.
Easy on the accents.
No, that's what he's saying.
Holy moly donut shop.
Yes, that's a classic right there.
Well, where they shot it.
It's a classic donut shop.
And they have opened up in New York.
And we will have Randy's donuts coming in to try them.
I'd ever say bubaga smile so hard.
Look at him. Look at your donuts.
I'm in.
Are you working Thursday?
He's like, give me the donut.
Hold the flies, buddy.
Well, buddy.
Anyway, they opened up one of these places.
They did in New York City.
I'm going to have to pull up.
Do they have a big donut on the top of the roof?
I don't believe it.
I want a big ass donut.
I know. I know because it's what they're known for.
Yes. But I don't believe they have that as of yet.
Okay, I'm bleaker.
And they will be coming over.
And we will do a live Carlin's corner table.
I'm going to get that.
I'm with you with that.
Okay, I'm going to even go to the.
I don't want to hear any of this crap about.
I can't eat it.
No.
Cut out. No.
Roll the riboflake.
I'm going to tear that up.
They tell him, bring me a dozen.
Tell him, bring me a, you know who you can blame for this?
I'm going to get the heat out.
It really do.
I told the, hey guys, I went to the bar.
I was like, yeah, give me a Shirley Temple.
And the look that the lady gave in me like, I had been neutered.
Really?
Yeah.
That's just sad.
She's like, do you want an umbrella?
Oh, do you want an umbrella?
Yo.
Say, give me all the cups of, give me all the cups of zoo you got.
And that's why I've been off my diet.
You know, as I have been disciplined for like a month, six weeks.
You know, as far as your mirror selfie picks at the gym.
Yeah.
On the IG stories on the weekend.
No, no, that was yesterday.
That was yesterday?
Yeah, but did you see what I said?
I said, two weeks of hood rest stuff for my friends to look at me.
I lost my two abs.
That thing is go.
Bar.
What are you doing? Posting thirst traps?
No, not thirst traps.
You know what I'm saying? Just like your progress.
Oh, look how far it's gotten away from me.
No abs.
I lost the abs.
Yeah, man, I look like I'm in bulk season.
I'm supposed to be in strength season.
Well, just be ready for Thursday.
I don't want to hear about shredding on Thursday.
I'm going to tear that crap.
I'm at the point of no retirement.
Okay.
Well, they're coming in.
Thank you, my friends.
And listen, church.
Is it, is it all hype?
Or is it legit?
No gangsta?
They go have to at least do like a three-month type of run with us, man.
Everybody calm down.
They go blow up.
Okay, we're going to post these donuts.
Donut challenge.
Shuttle down.
Let's have a donut.
Let's not get in front of ourselves.
Everybody calm down.
Everybody calm down.
I hope they're bossing cream cheese.
I'm just, I'm trying to make the donut show up here first.
Okay.
The circle is like the old ones that they don't know.
I do not know.
I do not know.
They got to bring two of everything.
Well, they're, don't worry.
I got it handled.
Okay.
Look at me.
Look at me.
My inner fat boy is coming out.
My inner fat boy is coming out.
Let it loose.
I tried to be good.
But now I'm going to be on that fat boy stuff.
Good.
We're going to get that third.
We're going to get that neck back, back up, baby.
Don't say.
Do me a favor.
Don't worry about me.
I got the situation handled.
Although I would say the last two days,
I have walked out of here at 12 o'clock.
Absolutely starving.
Starving.
No, I'm not going to eat your hash brown.
Thank you, though.
I know.
I'm not a hash brown guy.
Oh, I've got to hold another sandwich in the back.
I know you do.
That thing that stacks high.
No, no, with extra salami.
Okay.
Well, I don't have a job.
I'll be smelling that for the next three hours.
So we're excited for that at 800 919 3776.
Anyway, Thursday,
we have got the live Carlin's corner table at noon.
Tomorrow,
we start our weekly series with Phil Sims,
called The Sims Spotlight,
in which we will talk about the quarterbacks in the draft,
but also the quarterbacks that are in free agency.
Free agency.
Just like some...
Little boom.
For those who don't even quite realize,
begins on Monday with the legal tampering,
which means stories are going to start breaking on Monday.
So whether it's Malik Willis,
whether it's the color Murray Tade,
all of that.
Phil will give us an insight
into what to be looking at.
And I'm looking forward to this,
gunna join us every Wednesday at noon.
I've got a name for the segment.
I already called it that Sims Spotlight...
We got to be more creative with you.
It wouldn't kill you to jump on the phone
idea as opposed to just spouting it out you after I'm over here working with Tom. You're
intently nights a weekend. You're trying to figure out what we're gonna do on this damn show. You
can't board sir. You called them. I got the name. You called the bat line. What did I pick up?
Then when I picked up you called the wrong phone. I don't know. You know you had this. You got
seven phones. You got to give us the burner phone. Exactly. No, he called the burner car. He
usually calls this one. I don't know. So let's just call whatever it said. Barts got mobile. It's
got six listings for Barts. Got mobile phone. Tell me this time. What does every phone have or
used to have? I have no idea. What does every phone need? Yes please. To block it and lighten me.
What holds your information? Is it a SIM card? He speaks fluent bird. That's called it the SIM card.
Okay. Sam's Phil. Sam's SIM card. Oh, call him the SIM card. Yes. Call him the SIM card.
SIM card, right? SIM card holds all the information. You can't make a call with the SIM card. You
can't make a call without a SIM card. SIM card has all the information. It's the identity. So the
draft is going to have all the information from from Phil. Sam's who's the quarterback whisper
who's one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of football who's an icon here. We're going
to get the SIM card like a report card that holds all the information that you need to know the
details that you want to know about who your team should get. The SIM card. The full SIM card. Thank
me later. All right. First of all, his name is Sims. Secondly, listen, it can't be perfect.
Sim. I don't know. Sim Spotlight. Sim Spotlight is SIM card is SIM is SIM with one M not two. But we
can spell it with two. If Phil calls you, then which phone is he calling you on? Which number does he
have? Well, he has the number that has my SIM card because the SIM card holds the phone number.
All right. You could be changing out SIM cards out of your phones. I do that. That's back. No,
you do. No, that's what we used to do back in the day. Anybody out there and then they said,
all my players from the Himalayas and all my hustlers that used to be on the block doing what they
had to do. Everybody knew about the burner phones from singular where you had multiple phones on one
phone and you switch them out and it becomes a whole new phone so they can never catch up with you.
You just burn the chips. That's old school game right there. But I'm playing this back in the day
that was on the trap. Trap it hard. You know what I'm saying? Boombaka. You don't know that about
that. You weren't born with singular. You don't even remember singular. Do you?
Singular, but singular and even around them. I don't even know who bought them up.
Pilar wireless has been gone for like two years. It's not yes. It hasn't been gone for 35 years. Yeah,
but they they got downgraded. They used to be not bell. But no, but they but they got downgraded.
They used to be up there with sprint, Verizon. You know what I'm saying? Now they was up to T-Mobile,
all those other spots. You know what I'm saying? They get the pants. You go joints. When you have to
put the money, you have to put your minutes on it. You just have to put your minutes on a card.
Boombaka. You know what I'm saying? Tom too. You don't know nothing about that. When you get the phone
card, load the minutes up from the number on the back, then now you, you're really got no monthly
bill. Did you do a couple of bumps in the car before you the show today? I mean, you were coming
out of like fired out of a cannon. I mean, sugars. Are we sure we want to give birth to
nuts on Thursday? I got cars. That's not the amount. We had cars in six weeks on the
spicy jalapeno. Yeah. And a donut's front. By the way, Randy's donuts was also where Ironman sat
on top of the donut and had one in Ironman. That's what I'm talking about. That comes in from
JPPO. Thanks JP chip. Oh, look at that, man. Who get you want to get this information about anything?
And then the first 13 minutes, we learned about a SIM card from Phil Sims. We learned about Randy's
Holy Moly donut shop. You know, I'm saying we learned that the other movies that they've been in,
we learned about Singler, wireless. Man, we done for the day. We gave them too much juice, too
much gain. I don't even know what we did. And you got a third degree burn on your tongue. I do
from a jet still. Well, you're the one who told me to have it. And now I can't even like get me,
get me some milk. No, I got you. No, you're gonna hand me muscle milk. Put that on your tongue.
No, that Tumbata. Tabbati. You're close enough. That's like milk. No, I'm good. I'm straight.
This is that circle on your tongue. I'm good. No, did he? Well, you already said put that on your
tongue. And you're the same man who said when your father did that, you would never let that happen.
Yeah, I was so disappointed by father that a girl may have put his index finger on his tongue.
That happened to include some acid. No, it was LSD. Yes, same thing. He was in the army. Everybody
was doing it. So the jets. All right, I got a couple of interesting sound bites for you today.
And they come courtesy of Adam Schefter on on sportsman like this morning over on ESPN
radio national from six to 10 a.m. With Evan Cohen, Michelle Smallman, Chris Canty.
Here are just some thoughts about the jets and we'll tackle them one at a time.
First, for those who had had their hopes up that maybe something could happen down the line.
Adam Schefter quickly dashes any hopes you had of one particular big name quarterback for the jets
down the line. So everyone speculates based on Joe Burrows comments. He has a no trade clause.
And Joe Burrows not going to go to the jets and the discussion. But the way you just said that was
interesting. Could Joe Burrows go somewhere else? Well, not right now. I expect Joe Burrows to be
Cincinnati. And then I think this year becomes a referendum on what he wants to have to end of
discussion. Joe Burrows. So everyone speculates based on Joe Burrows comments. He has a no trade
clause. They're not Joe Burrows not going to go to the jets and the discussion. But the period.
Okay. I had been one that had looked at that and hoped and thought maybe what that tells me with
Joe Burrows with a full no trade clause is not going to end up approving a trade to the jets at
any time in the foreseeable future. But where would he approve it? Trade at most teams that are good
that we respect have their quarterback already. And it doesn't sound like go to Miami.
We clear. It doesn't sound like Joe Burrows getting traded this year. Of course not. He's going to
head it's after this year that people are starting to look at. Yeah. So when you're planning long
term, I just wanted to put that out there so we can eliminate that from the potential discussion.
At least for the moment. For the inside people out there, every quarterback gets to the point in
their contract when you have these mega deals now, where their cap number just gets ridiculous.
That's why you see Patrick Mahomes always changing. That's why you see Lamar Jackson even though his
contract still has two years on it, about to have that discussion. We saw that a couple years ago
with Dak Prescott. So at some point that numbers don't get so ridiculous for Joe Burrow that they're
going to say, Hey, man, we need to lower your cap number and he can say nope. And then that star
forcing them to say, Okay, like we need to make some decisions. So if the jets are still sucking
during that time, they may have an opportunity to Joe Burrow. He just said no. No, that's because
it's a couple of years from now, but hopefully, hopefully we don't get there. All right. That's
I want to just put that aside as number one. Number two, the idea of the jets potentially trying to
move up to trade with the Raiders for the number one pick. Again, just listen to what Schaefter had
to say because I think it's an answer that would not surprise you. I think that the jets probably
at some point will make a run to try to get that big. I do think they'll try. I don't think they'll
succeed, but I think they'll call up and be like, what would it take? Can we get it done? They
have the ammunition. You know, last year, the giants tried really hard to get up to number one
to go get cam ward and Tennessee wouldn't move off the pick. And I think that it's a similar situation
this year with the jets at two and the Raiders at one. Sounds to me like the Raiders are pretty
content and dug in. I don't expect them to move the number one pick, but the jets certainly can try.
Talk to me about that. As you think about it from a jet perspective, is this something?
First of all, that's worth kicking the tires on. Yeah, I don't want it.
It would probably don't you want. They're probably cost three ones just to move for the Raiders to move
down one spot. See, this is where having all of the capital works against you. Is they know you
have it. So they're going to ask for the sun, the moon and the stars in all of this. I'm not doing
all that. Okay, but then I don't even know. Man, those are is better than all the quarterbacks
that's coming out next year. He's old as hell. He played with it. One of the oldest teams,
one of the best coaches. We may have seen the the ceiling for him. Like Jordan would say, the
silliness to floor. So I like guys that I can project that's going to improve and get better,
right? That didn't have I love my quarterbacks, not to have the perfect environment,
right? Because it only gets worse from there when they play with a line that don't block,
or when they play with a team that's one dimensional, don't have a run game or incomplete team.
Give me a guy that played for a team that they they they had to carry more of their weight than
most quarterbacks had to do. Give me those guys. That's why Josh Allen's doing this thing. That's
why Lamar Jackson's doing this thing. The only person that succeeded in recent years that had
it super easy in college was Joe Burrell on that super team that he was on. But at that point,
he was a well travel guy who had a lot of pain and suffering going on because he didn't be
able he wasn't able to play in Ohio State. So here's what I would come at this from. There has
to be a place where the Raiders are certainly not going to entertain it and that that may be they're
not entertaining at period. But there has to be a place where the jets would consider it. And I'm
trying to find out where the middle ground would be that could potentially get something done.
Okay. So if you want it, if you believed in Mendoza and you felt like. So it looks like this because
the general comparisons have been Matt Ryan. If he's Matt Ryan. No, I'm not. He ain't Matt Ryan.
Okay. I played Matt Ryan. Alex Smith. See Alex Smith. Is he closer to Alex Smith than Matt Ryan?
Yeah, in my opinion. Because you think he has already come too close to whatever the ceiling is.
Yes. And there's not enough room to grow beyond that. Exactly. Okay. The line of where it is for
the jets. If you believe in him and you like everything about him, where is the line? Because for
me, I think an interesting line would be the Raiders say to the jets. We'll take the second
pick, the 16th pick, and the 33rd pick. In other words, we'll take your two ones this year and a
two this year. You still have a two. That's the number 44. I got too much work to do. So I'll give you
16. And I'll give you a one next year. Dallas is one. Give it Dallas is one next year. Yeah,
we're in an era now where you serve in future picks. So you're going to get you're going to get
two ones just to move down one spot. So you get whatever player you want. What about if what if I
countered with 16 and then Dallas is one next year, plus number 44 this year because I've
jets have two ones, two twos this year, no threes. This year, two ones, two twos, no threes. So what I'm
saying is 16 along with the number two pick. Yep. And then a one next year and the second second
round pick this year. I might consider that, but maybe we need to turn that to this years of make
that a point. Here's my point. The thing with Mendoza is that he's going to be playing sooner rather
than later. This is not Thai Simpson. This is not somebody who has a play on starter. He's going to
he's can't war. Yep. He's going to walk in the door and he's going to be starting for you right
away. So that line for me, if I'm the jets considering everything I have is not completely
off the table. In other words, that line is not one that I cannot cross. Do I want to give up
three number one picks for him? I certainly do not. But at the same time, where is my surest bet
going to be? Is it going to be in this year's draft or is it going to be in next year's draft?
Well, if I think back a year, everybody was making the assumption that we were going to have a very
deep quarterback draft this year. And man, that was out the window pretty damn quick.
Now, people who want to believe in, you know, things that are going to be the case in the future,
that Archmaning already has no plans on trying to tell anybody where he's going to go and he's
going to go wherever he's drafted. And in other words, he wouldn't purposely try to avoid the jets.
Yeah, he hasn't played good enough to do that. Yeah, he's going to be basically coming off
one year of playing at a high level because last year, he struggled mildly. That's why we
not discussing him this year or even coming out. Well, to me, if you're going to believe in one
guy, Mendoza would be the guy to believe in. And from a jet perspective, having the guy with the
much higher floor is better and safer than having the guy that might have the much higher ceiling.
But I don't necessarily think is a definitive guy to not completely tank. Like I would look
at Mendoza. Mendoza is not going to tank. I don't think he's going to be awful. I think
Mendoza's got a very high floor. And for the jets, that's not a bad thing.
I'm in those. I'm hoping that it's the jets. I much rather be the jets than the raiders.
He don't get murdered his first year. This thing, he's going to be in a division that has Herbert,
my homes and both nicks. Two of those teams have outstanding defense that's going to beat the
crap out of him because they're going to be about from behind having to catch up. He got no weapons
and he can't be protected. These times here, he can hand the ball off the breeze and he's going to
be protected. He'll get the brakes beat off on his first couple of years. So where is the line for
you and tell me if I'm wrong, seems to be two, 16 and next year's one. So you are given up
technically three number ones for that number one pick. The next year's number one that's the Cowboys
pick. You would do that. You know what? No, I'll give up. They got another extra number two next
year, right? The jets? Yeah, I'm not giving up three ones because they have the extra number two
this year because you're getting a play, you're getting a player that you want. So I'll give up,
I'll give up 44. I'm not giving up on one next year. Hell no. If I got Mendoza, I got to go,
I got to get them some weapons. It all depends on what they're doing for agency. That's what,
that's going to tell us all the indicators. You know what I am concerned with. I'm concerned with,
you know, I saw this and somebody put this on it and it kind of made me think next year,
it's three ones. And then their own two, their own three, their own four. Okay. Got you,
because they gave them the extra two this year. I tell you what I am concerned with.
It's the jets taking Arvel Reese. Why is that? Because if people are projecting him to say,
okay, you're going to be a past ruster. It's going to be some growing pains.
And if you're starting to play him to replace Jermaine Johnson on the edge and he's never played
there consistently. And he's dealing with the road greater over there. That's the right tackle,
which is usually the most physical person we have over there. You basically got two real McDonald's
on the edge, which means you could get the ball ran on your edges against you. I get nervous
without a guy who ain't used to being heavy handed all the time. And you know, somebody was like,
hey, he can end up being burning ghosted and it's scared to hell out of me.
I mean, give me, give me, give me belly. It's a tough name to mention. Give me belly. And
listen, burn is my guy. And he still lives around here. Never seen him. But you know, I mean,
that I always hate, or it's always tough for me to digest,
taking a great college player and projecting him to be dominant at a different position that
we've never seen him play. Case in point, Evan Nill, one of the best fluid left tackles I had ever
seen in college, dominant, dancing bear. Look like he don't have a clue at right tackle in the NFL.
We ain't talked about Evan Nill in two years. Most people probably don't even know where he's
playing at. You see them saying, no, I understand. When you sometimes you project people,
that's why I was so happy that we got Mimbo last year because I saw him being dominant at the
position that he's going to come play now, learning new footwork, now learning new new skills,
doing what he's always done at a high level. Park and Carlin, ESPN, New York and on the ESPN,

looked up and no, I don't want another jalapeno chip. I just now got the heat out my mouth from
20 minutes ago. No, did he? Honestly, that, I don't know what that is, but there's no need for that.
And I used to like the jalapeno chips. And I'm not averse despise. Big fellow like some spice.
What that thing is? No, no. And it doesn't even, because that's a wolf in sheep's clothing right there.
It doesn't even say on the outside, all it says is jalapeno chip. It doesn't say flame and hot
cheetos. Doesn't say anything like that. Do they need to say flame? How would they say jalapeno?
I think that's implied. Yeah. No, it's not on this level. You want to know what I was going to
know how flame and hot says it because it ain't its flavor. It's just red. You'll know what it is.
Could be, could be a roasted potato. I mean, what is even the brand of those chips?
Parts I know. But it's called community snacks. I've never had them. Until now. And just burn

to break and we'll get to that in a second because now that room's on fire. Chipgate,
I got two things for you. Number one, just to tie up a little bit of business from last week.
So Dave, because of all the traffic that Dan hit on Thursday, ended up staying until 1130ish,
is that about right? Pretty close, yeah. And he was physically here.
Physically here, I didn't let him leave. Exactly. You didn't get him a comp there or anything for
that. No, he, he pushed for one. He's right too. I said one hour, it doesn't make a day.
In an hour and a half kind of makes a day when you're doing a show that does Michael K,
daily life, take away commercials. All right. So the guy poor and cement, he puts in an hour
extra worth of work. His, his foreman says to him, I tell you what, we're going to give you the
day off. He did 75% of Michael K's show. It's basically what he did. And he did it with part,
which almost got him across the line in a couple of minutes. So it's all burdens up having to
give him $62. I was going to say out of our jar.
Once Bart made the offer of you're going to have the tip, the share jar money. I was like,
oh, great. I got GZ off the hook. I don't need to offer my comp dinner. You, you are amazing
at negotiation. You really are the best at getting something for nothing. You are so awesome.
So actually, I probably made him feel bad about it too. I was like, listen, we're going to bind
you. Oh, no, you've got it. You've got that too. And I've got that little edge to you as well
that is going to make you feel a little bit guilty. And it delivers right underneath the
heart plate. But also Dave knows, and you guys know that if there's a day or a time where like
something comes up and I'm usually pretty, uh, you are. Yeah. But in the moment of Dave helping
you out, I mean, that was, that was, that was turned off is what that was. Maybe, maybe, maybe,
maybe he said, maybe he said, maybe he should have a comp day. Maybe he should play Dan and give,
Dave Dan's money. Could you imagine if they, they, they docked Dan to get my half a check?
Yeah, what happened to Dan? Well, I'd have to shift. So I did tell, I did tell Dan. I was like,
you really, just an account as an appearance. I said, you really, you really should be getting
Dave something, not me. Yeah. I was like, so like Dave was saying he had to pay extra for his
parking. So I think Dan was going to give him the money for that. I think Dan's going to try to
treat him to breakfast. And then he got to $60. Got $60. So Dave made out okay for it. You
didn't get him a two for one. Arby's cart too. Well, you're at it. Come on. All right.
The other question was a serious one. And it was a jet fan related question because I'm curious
as to how jet fans are going to respond to this thought. And I'm sure after this morning says,
I'm sure at some point the jets are going to knock on the door for the Raiders about what it would
take to get the number one pick. Where is your line? If you are as a jet fan or wanting to land
Fernando Mendoza of your assets of what you will give up because we were just discussing it.
Obviously, the Raiders knowing the jets have all the extra assets are going to ask for the sun,
the moon, and the stars. If I told you that you could move up the one spot were two,
16 and 33. Would you do that? No, I would stop at two and 16. To me, that's enough. You're
moving back one spot. But it's for the one quarterback that's available in the draft that everybody
seems to agree on has a higher floor than anybody else. But the thing I would say to that is why are
the Raiders okay to move off of that spot? That means it must mean they're not. But we're talking
about the jets and the Raiders. We're not we're not exactly talking about two world champions at
chess right back and forth here. But if a team is willing to move off a spot that you think has a
franchise quarterback, that would make me believe that they don't believe he's a franchise quarterback.
Okay, and that would make me believe if I would suggest you know what? They drafted
Jamarcus Russell. Maybe I know what I'm doing here. That's fine. I would two and 16 would be
my thresholds because then we started adding 33. It's like, why not just roll the dice on
Thai Simpson? Yeah, I would get I would get 44 if I got my number two 16 and 44 because basically
you can because back to you can move back into the first round. So base you can still have two
first round draft picks. Move back into the 20s. You know what I mean? So I'll do that. You know,
if I'm if I'm sold that hey, we've done what we need to do. We've given up two ones.
I'll tell you what the jets need an edge rusher. I'll give them two 16 and 30 on Max Crosby as well.
I'll take that thought and I'll give three up for that. Yeah. Now I'll give you
one 16 and I'll give you dialysis next year. Yeah, I'll give you Max Crosby. You give me the first
and I give you I'll give you three ones. I'll give you 44 too. That's not bad because basically
because basically you basically giving up a one a future one which should be bad because
dials should be good next year. I'll give up a future one. The two the two ones is for
Mendoza. The one and the two is for Max Crosby. Yeah. If you can come away without them
because guess what? I don't have the I don't have the that way. I don't have the draft
edge rusher. I just got one. So two 16 and the first of the three first round picks next year.
No, I'm giving you dialysis. I don't think you could do it like that. You can't do an MBA style.
I think you just have to whichever team you're assigning. You're going to want the jets pick probably
because no, I'm giving you dialysis because you're getting jets picked this year. Yeah,
that's too early. You're also giving me Max Crosby. I'm giving you, but I'm giving you,
I'm giving you, I'm giving you, I'm giving you, I'm giving you salary cap relief. Exactly
by getting Max Crosby. No, but they're not really because they're going to get they're going to have
Max Crosby's replacement though. It's true. Sure, right? Who's the Zappus Max Crosby's
replacement? Is it going to be as good as him? Let's let's speak this into existence. I like this now.
It's not terrible. What do you mean? What do you mean? Is it good? I mean, Max Crosby was a
thing. No, I was happy. You got Bailey, Arville, Reese, sunny style. You don't get somebody crazy.
I understand, but are any of them going to be as good as Max Crosby is? I know that for sure.
No, of course. It's okay to guess that they're going to be at least a borderline pro-bola.
You saw Bailey. I mean, listen, if you're drafting him there, you better hope so. Yeah,
but no guarantees or you can go out or you can go out and you can get this replacement at 16
because fall is going to be there. Right? You got fall from Arbor. They got they got him
going to the Ravens. You know, I mean, you got trust in names that come my way. Yeah, but that was
a legitimate one. Okay. Bulk. So you like that? You like trying to get Crosby and I'm in
business. I thought in there. I get my quarterback. Am I in and in the pro-bola past russia? Let's make
this happen. Any play with juice? Just mad to the effort that he plays with and the effort that
will make Donald plays with. Man, I got two guys that hustle, hustle hard. And I got my big boy
in the middle. So now you can't double those guys because I got my big fat boy in the middle. Yep.
I'm Gucci and we didn't hit free agency yet. We got money. A little less if you add Crosby,
but yeah. Yeah, but we can eat. We can eat that up because guess what? Next year when
when those other three follow, we're going to have money money for real. Next year. Not to take
over your segment, but if let's assume that Mendoza thing can't happen, I think I am more comfortable
now rolling the dice on Simpson at 16. I'm not doing it just to see not a six. Because you have
33 and 44. That would be this is what we'll do. And then and then drafting another quarterback
next year and have to let them if you want Simpson. This is how you get Simpson at one at two and
16. I'm taking my picks. If I get 33 and 34 damn straight and get to like 27 because that's
basically what I used to be able to get to like 22. You got to get up to Pittsburgh 20.
Yeah, I really have to take a closer look at the mock to see who would be the team that you have
to leap over for Simpson. Pittsburgh. Yeah. Probably. And what's their number? 21. 21. So you go to 20.
No, 33 and 34 is worth 20. Yes. Can you imagine the shock waves if if the Jets and Raiders made that
trade? Three number ones. And Max Crosby that basically be be amazing. Yeah. The crazy thing is you
would never have to buy a drink in this town again. The thing is our fan base has been excited like
that before and it never worked out. And Raiders day one doesn't mean you keep don't keep
don't keep firing away. Yeah, that's true. You miss a hundred percent. It's actually on me. You want
to chip? Give Johnny Pickles a chip. Yeah, I can probably wait to the break. No, no, no, everybody's
had a chip challenge. Take two chips. This is basically the chip challenge. What is this chip? It's a
right. No, give another one. Give another one. Because Boom Bock a two. Give another one. Boom Bock a two.
All right. Good for you. We don't have to do no show. He could go this on when you see him. That's a
substantial chip. Thank you. There's a lot to it. Lot of heat. No, no, not that. Right. Come in though.
It's a strong kettle chip. Yeah. Give another chip. See what I'm saying? I know it's not a bad chip.
It's a strong it's not saying it's a bad chip. I don't want to kill them. No, no, I like I like spicy.
Right. Time to get chip. Two chips. Boom Bock it took two chips. I like spicy too. You know,
Well, you only want to take one.
And it stuck with me for a good 10 minutes.
It's a strong kettleship.
Yeah, now I'm feeling heat all over.
Yeah, you know what I'm saying?

Jesus took two of the chips.
I mean, it's hot.
It's for the chip that it is.
It's a hot chip.
I didn't expect it.
I mean, I'm wrong.
I mean, bookkeeping, you had it.
No, it's hot.
And then 10 minutes later, you're like, you still feel it.
Still there.
It's up in the eyes.
Tom Bauer, just good with a culture of suffocates.
I didn't think it was that, like,
I thought it was hotter than a Vicky's chip.
And I actually like this better than Vicky's chips.
Whatever brand this is.
But I will say I didn't.
This is the King vitamin brand of chips, baby.
The King vitamin brand, it is a better culture.
I will say, here's the problem, though.
I told this to Matt Bumbaca, and he can attest.
Five minutes in, I said, my chest is hurting a little bit.
Now you're having a heart attack.
It could have done something to the body.
I'm not going to lie.
That's good, baby.
We can get spies about my Lancer, Pepto Bismill,
I have to say, I'm getting a little tired of like my iPhone
and my Apple Watch now, like just monitoring my health
all over the place.
Tell the audience, like, stop it.
Like, first of all, it's a little passive aggressive
when your Apple Watch says, hey, you haven't stood in an hour.
Maybe you stand up and then when you actually do stand up,
it says, congratulations.
You stood up.
Oh, thanks, shut up.
But then they have a new thing on whatever the latest update
was on the iPhone.
And you put your finger on the back camera.
And it does your pulse, but it does a whole bunch of stuff
like where your stress level is and all this.
And I'm like, how is it that this thing
where I'm trying to take a panoramic picture,
can't do a damn thing.
But then when I need to put my finger on it,
it can tell me what my blood sugar is all of a sudden.
How is that possible?
It's going to tell me when I'm going to have a heart attack.
Hey, dude, instead of somebody, you know,
that's the loom there.
Instead of somebody yelling, you know,
get me my nitroglycerin pills.
It's getting my iPhone and my having a heart attack.
Come on.
It was just an suggestion.
It's Barton Carl and ESPN New York.
I'll take a couple of calls here.
Well, it's hit David and Elizabeth to start on ESPN New York.
What's up, Dave?
All right, good start.
There we go.
All right.
Here we go.
He was on the water for a minute.
Now we can hear you, man.
What's up?
Oh, beautiful, beautiful.
All right, so let's get straight into a gentleman.
I'm going to try to get you guys in there and get checked today.
First and foremost.
Never.
I'm sorry.
Yes.
Good head suit.
John, I'm not going to lie.
I apologize.
I usually agree with all of you guys, but I don't agree.
And I got this from Jake Asmond's show yesterday,
and I wanted to bring this to you, Chef and Bart.
They cannot pick Ty Simpson at 16.
I'm sorry.
Aaron Glenn, you don't have the time.
You don't have the time to stop and, you know,
develop a quarterback.
He's a project.
You need results now.
The jets need a result now.
So at 16, Ty Simpson ain't it?
At two, I agree with you, Bart.
No RVL reads.
They need to draft a bail.
David Bailey, that's what you need to get.
Get Bailey, pair him with.
Make Donald.
Make McDonald's, of course.
And then at 16, I would get a prime time box office receiver.
And then, like you said, at three,
I would go for a position of need to get results now.
You cannot draft Ty Simpson.
Like, yeah, I hear that the Steelers want him, Chef,
that'll probably be good for your team.
But not for nothing.
We don't have time for that right now.
You want to do something for the quarterback?
See what's up with Kyler?
See what's up with some of the veterans, some of the, you know,
journey and guys that have been doing it already.
And you know, you can go that route.
And with that third pick, what you said, Bart,
they need to pick somebody that's going to get a results
right away on the defensive, you know,
on the defensive side of the ball.
And I think, honestly, that's the smarter move.
And that's what they should do.
Ty Simpson, as much as they're talking about,
like you said, Bart, they keep doing it every year.
And soon as we get to this time,
they start speaking about people I never heard of before.
Like, not for nothing.
I did the homework, sunny style.
Yo, he looked like a prime time player.
I didn't, I never heard nothing of them
until about, about two weeks ago.
Well, we heard, we heard about him a little bit,
but tell me this day,
they just call us.
I wonder if this, if 16 get down there,
and let's just say Malik Lim and all those guys been taken,
you're going to King and I said,
Deak, it's interesting because you talk about a weapon
and he's back as a freak of an athlete as a tweener.
Yeah, you know, you know what I see is Jimmy Graham?
No, you know what I see when I look at a faster version.
Shannon Sharp.
That's saying something.
I mean, look, I think he's a great player.
A faster, really like him a lot.
A faster version of Shannon Sharp.
He's a, he's a H back.
He would be like, what's Aaron Hernandez?
Do you trust in what he's doing,
what the jets are doing enough to use him the right way?
Frank, right?
Absolutely.
That was got it.
He's had those type of guys.
They're in a urge.
Yeah, urge was more of a true tight end though.
Yeah, but this guy,
like he, he's everything that we thought Kyle Pitz was supposed
to be and it took Kyle Pitz five years to be it.
