1:58Hi everybody, my name is Anthony Lancer, I'm the long side Michael Markcotch. Dom Clary is spinning the dials on the board and it'll come to me. James Bridges is doing the 2020s and taking your calls back there at $2.674.992. I could see his face and then I just, we're doing all right. Michael, how are you doing? What's up Anthony? I'm happy holiday weekend, happy holiday I guess. I did say it. Do you even say that for labor, we're laboring on labor day. That's the cliche thing to say. We're working while the rest of the world, they're not the world, the country sits. I actually know where all of downtown Cleveland is, they're right along the lake shore looking at the air show. I know I said beforehand, the lake, the air show is so cool. It's literally just like the loudest things on planet Earth, flying, doing tricks for four straight hours today. I honest to God, it is so much fun for me to look. And for now living in Lakewood, I can see the downtown Cleveland skyline from my balcony. I'm watching the blue angels fly right over my head. It is so damn cool to me.

2:58Yeah, well, I've never seen it. I don't live that close to the lake like that, but I certainly can hear it. I live like close enough where I've heard like a bunch of stuff happening. Obviously watching the Guardians games this weekend, you just be in the randoms, like it'd be the sixth inning, one one count, and then all of a sudden there's a fly over. So cool. Like it's just insane what was happening. So it's a good time. We had a bunch of college football this weekend. We have one more game tonight. SMU Florida State. Like your valvety. Yeah, that's a hot sea guy I've ever seen one. So we're going to react to all of it. We got a big show coming up here today. We're here until seven o'clock. We got to react to some of what Todd Monkin said earlier today about Shador Sanders, about your latest captain of the Cleveland Browns, DeShawn Watson, among other people. But I want to start off with the thing that I think everybody's talking about today and has been since Saturday night. Do you think there was one second left on the clock in the Michigan game? I know there was not one second left on the clock in the game.

3:59Anthony, like that was crazy. Just, I mean, I know that we've talked about it on the station all day and I know everyone's got their take on what happened in order the other night. But that was insane. Like there was not one second remaining and then they put a second back on the clock. And I don't know about you, Anthony, but when that happened, like the moment they put that second back on, I'm like, they're going to win the game. Really? Yes. Okay. I'm 100%. My brain, I was totally convinced that they were going to convert. There was just something I had to hit my stomach. I felt that that was going to happen and it did. And you went to Michigan State. So you're not exactly a huge Michigan fan. I cannot stand the University of Michigan. So Dom Claire was there and I'll get to why I mad at him in a second here. But I had gone to bed before the end of the game because I needed to be up early and whatever. And I woke up to it. So I'm immediately texted Dom because Dom's not one of these people that's like, oh, the chiefs are cheating. Oh, everybody's cheating. Bubble block. He's a very like nuts and bolts kind of guy with this stuff.

5:01So I'm like, what do you think happened? And if I correct me if I'm wrong, Dom, but you said you think that somebody basically made the call to put one second back on the clock. And that's why I'm convinced that that's exactly what happened. Yeah, it was, um, it was weird. At the time, I definitely thought it was home cooking. Now that I've gone back and look at it, I just think they made a mistake. Like I didn't make a mistake. The replay group made a mistake. Something with the clock was wrong because the TV and I'm sure we'll get into it here in a second. So I don't want to spoil too much. But like the TV in the game clock was zero. I saw it with my eyes. The clock was zero when the ball was touching. Like I witnessed it happen. I was like, the clock was right above the play. Like I said, what is going on with this mic? It's like all over what is this? Sorry. Um, but then they showed you the whole video of like the replay team talking about it. There was very clearly one second on their clock. So someone messed something up. So that's, Dom, you touched on something that I think is important. And I took a lot of backlash. I think this weekend when I mentioned this.

6:01But I actually thought what the big 10 conference did. Although I think their explanation is poor and I still think it leaves a lot of holes in questions to be answered. The fact that they gave you the raw audio from the replay room there was no other conclusion that the on field officials could come to other than to put one second on the clock. Because that's what the replay officials were looking at. Look, I've worked in big 10 production studios before. Congratulations. So your success. Well, it was more for like big 10 plus but still like big 10 sanctioned events. And I've been a replay operator before and like I've seen the clock cam. And the fact like you have a camera that is staring at the scoreboard clock in the stadium. And that's what you're supposed to be sinking all the clocks to like that's the thing. That's the clock that's going to be you know used. The issue is when you do that and I'm going to pull up a clip here in a second from Mike Pereira the Fox. Like the NFL. Yeah, and he had some for college as well. But he was on the Joe Clatch show yesterday, but it aired today.

7:03And he kind of gave I thought it was a great explanation on what the replay officials got wrong and we'll play it right here. Here's the key and here's where it got lost in my opinion, not my opinion. This is what it is. The official replay officials have been told that if there is a discrepancy, use the television footage. Do not use your footage in the command center. Use the footage that 10 million people are watching. Not the one that's three because if the basic premise of replay, Joe, back in 99, we said, look it. Don't overturn anything that people that are watching the TV don't see. Don't use video that they can't see because conspiracy theories are going to be abound everywhere. And so the replay officials have been told and I get it. This panic situation. You've never had it before. Take a deep breath. Look at both. If there is a discrepancy, go to the TV and use the television shot. So really when it's all said and then that's what should have happened and there shouldn't

8:06have been another player. So by what he's saying there, the replay officials of the big 10 and pretty much every conference. And I know that this isn't in the official rulebook, but they are told when there's a lag, when you're syncing the two clocks together, there's going to be a lag of, you know, 10s of seconds. When there's that lag, you always go with the game clock on the TV. What as he said, what tens of millions of people are watching, that's the clock you use because you can't bring up the conspiracy that, hey, we actually have this other clock that's like five tenths of a second slower than the other clock because of just, you know, technology and lag that we're using to make this decision based off of. So what he's saying is in that moment, his best guess is the replay officials were looking at the lag the clock versus the TV clock and they accidentally used their replay clock that should not have been taken to account in that situation. They should have used the TV clock, which would have meant the game was it's just all weekend. I watched hit after hit and it like it happened in my

9:09own modern game against Syracuse. It happened in one of the games that I watched yesterday where we're slowing down targeting calls to like the millisecond. And there's like, of course, when people are going at full speed, everything's going to look at a targeting. If you hit the guy above the, you know, the the breastplate basically, it's we've become accustomed to that. We've become accustomed to like, well, did he touch out of bounds on that tiny little blade of grass that's painted slightly differently than the inbound stuff? It like you just open up so much stuff to where the general fan is like, I'm here. Literally what Dom said, I am at the stadium. I see him touch the ball. I see the clock at zero. It goes incomplete. The game's over. You cannot dive into this like technical crap because people just don't listen to it. And as I said, and I think, you know, Mike did a good job there breaking down the thing of why they tell officials not to do this is because they they can allow conspiracy theories to just run rampant. And the fact now is rightfully so there's a conspiracy that basically the big 10 made a call to give Michigan a second crack at it, which I think we can

10:15all sit here and objectively say that's not what happened, but it doesn't look good. And the fact that the video that they showed when they posted it might I say two hours after the game ended to get their act together. The video they posted was from behind the play where you can't even see the ball. So they claim that the Western Michigan player was touching the ball with the second left. You don't know where the ball is. No idea. No, he's touching the ball. So the video part was absolute garbage on their behalf. But I do respect their transparency and the fact of they at least released the footage from the replay. And you could hear what they were saying. You could hear what they were looking at. And for the on field referees, they had no other choice but then to put a clock into a greed to put one second back on that clock because that's what they saw. And that's what they were pulled, even though that information was incorrect. Um, also one thing that no one's talked about. I've seen a clip of it on on on X and that's it. Uh, that feel goal that, um, Western Michigan kicked uh, with about 35 seconds left. There should have been one more second that should have ticked off

11:16there. They had a two second play with with a snap in the kick. It was two seconds. It went from 37 to 35. I see. I didn't miss that. I didn't see that again. At least that long. Yeah, I think everybody's focused on the main Hill Mary at the end there. But what what I'm saying is that like and again, this is normal, right? You're the home clock operator. You want to save a second? You save a second, right? I mean, I do that youth football down the road. So like it makes sense. But like maybe we should be a little bit more, you know, cautious of like, okay, a clock operator. Okay, because our boss Keith Britain, boss Keith Britain just texted me and he said, as frustrated as still am with that win, quickly replaced is loving the fact that it clearly bothers Ohio State Michigan State fans. Number one, I'm not no high state fan. I'm a Syracuse Orange fan because that's why I went. I'm not letting you on for people in the state that just went to, you know, John Carroll and now they're big Ohio State fans. Michael, I can't speak for you. But again, what is lost in this conversation about whether or not the referees were right or the replay booth was

12:17right or the home clock operator was cooking the books a little bit. It's a fact that Michigan a top 25 team under a new head coach once again is surrounded by scandal for a team that's just not that good for a quarterback that is worth 15 million dollars is that stunk? Yes, on Saturday. No, that is what we mean. The rest are Michigan. That's a good football. I was gonna get there. Western Michigan is a damn good Mac football team. But if Ohio State were rolling things out in the final minutes 12 to 7 against Western Michigan or Toledo or one of the top Mac teams, everybody on this station and in the state of Ohio would be bitching up a storm because how in the held it Ryan Day let this happen blah blah blah Michigan fans were just pointing to the fact well, we won the game Dave Portnoy's and celebrating any time they don't microphones in front of his face and the most embarrassing thing for Michigan is the fact that they stormed the field. That is the softest most ridiculous thing that I've seen from a perennial big 10 contendee team. The leaders and the best. Oh, yeah, Michigan. You just stormed the court after you know beating Western Michigan.

13:24I saw a tweet over the weekend that since 2019 in games where teams rush the field where fans rush the field. The biggest spread difference was in this Michigan game where they were the most heavy favorites going into it for them to then rush the field. And you know what good. I'm glad that every single show today has led off with this. I'm glad that our boss Keith Britain can sit back and pretend that it's Ohio State fans that are all upset about it. Oh, I have state fans are rocking and rolling. They've got Jeremiah Smith love. They've got Jeremiah Smith. I had it right the first time. They have Julian Sayon who might win the highest man if his wide receiver doesn't. They've got a damn good football team that took care of business. Your team on prime time mind you filled around with a team that is lesser than them talent wise and then complained because everybody was saying that they cheated again. It's it's insane and that's always been my thing with look. I'm not going to sit here and act like I'm not biased against the University of Michigan. I totally am like I will say it as many times as I need to to as many people as I have to. I don't like them. I don't like what the university claims to be all that other stuff.

14:26But what I will say there's there's a lot of things I don't think that Michigan holds true. But what I will say is like that's not a good football team. And like I don't think that this is going to be a springboard for them like oh they got they want on a Hail Mary against Western Michigan. Now they're going to roll up and beat Oklahoma next week. Are you kidding me? That Oklahoma defense is looking at that Michigan offense and they're looking like we're going to pitch a shut out on the road against the probably still top 25 ranked is so funny to me that every other quote unquote dynasty in sports has some form of cheating attached to it the New England Patriots. Right. This Michigan. You see. You see. Well you see. My ammy right all of these different programs. What happened with all of those they won consistently. This is the most lopsided between the amount of cheating that has happened and how successful the program actually has been. Yeah. I know they won the national championship a couple of years ago. But that whole thing's tarnished basically. Shirod Moore who we all know what happened with him. He wasn't that good of a

15:28football coach and they go higher stability from Utah. And it's the same bad product with a quarterback that's the most overpaid in college football. Can I propose something? Yes. Sabin. I think one of his first games was a loss to a ULM at Alabama. So sometimes good dynasties start off with a little little hiccup. Well hiccup there. That's a big hiccup. By the way. Kyle Whittahan believer me. I have a big fan of what he did at Utah. I would call myself a believer. But I do like him because like I liked watching Utah a lot at late at night. You tell us just fine without him. I can say that. I did take a shot at Jake Fulnick there. I know. He's not happy with you right now. You know what? Honestly. What the hell dude? 18:53So that's all his fault. He just called Syracuse a lacrosse school. We're not even that. We're field hockey school. Everybody knows that. What is Syracuse good at? Apparently not academics. There was a Wall Street Journal article that came out that it's a kind of failing as a university. But let's talk about the Browns a little bit because I felt really nice this entire weekend. I know we mentioned like the air shows going on. It was a beautiful weekend today. This whole weekend, the Guardians had probably one of the most electric home stands that I've ever witnessed myself. That game on Friday, I went to game one. It was just like an electric factory there. You have this entire weekend full of other stuff going on. I don't think I thought about the Browns one time. Other than listening to the fan and kind of hearing people's first preps for the Jacksonville game and like getting ready for the season, everything like that. I saw it sweet yesterday while I was just scrolling around.

19:55Somebody was like, oh, this is the last stress-free Sunday before Brown season starts. Everybody was quote-twin and I'm like, hey, man, if you're letting this team this year with the level of expectations that they have going in, that's kind of on you. If you're getting stressed out and throwing things and screaming up a storm every Sunday afternoon, like I'm not telling you to go golf at one o'clock every Sunday, but you kind of can take a backseat as from an emotional standpoint this year. It was fantastic. The whole weekend to just not think about the team. Yeah, it was a lot of fun. Look, I love college football. I watched a ton of it. I was watching Thursday night. I was watching Friday night. Obviously, I was watching Saturday. Even last night, it was great. That Ole Miss Louisville game was fantastic, especially in the second half. Then you touched on the Guardians. Anthony, they never actually led the whole series.

20:56They won three games. The Tigers did their one single pitch this weekend, trailing. It's insane. You'll never see a series like that probably ever again. It's just one of those things where it was nice not to worry about the Browns too much. That's why I like everyone's complaining. Why does it the NFL play on Labor Day Sunday? It's like, this is why. It's nice. You let college have their moment. Everyone gets their final break, do all this stuff. Then we gear up because starting Wednesday night, we're full-go. We're watching football every night. Does it take a little bit out of you going into the season because I think at this point, it may be it'll just happen that by Wednesday night when we sit down and watch the Brazil game. Wednesday night's the opener. That's the Seahawks. Australia game is Thursday. That's right. That screwed me up a little bit because I thought the Australia game was Wednesday. Not here nor there. I think we're going to sit down on Wednesday and a lot of people are going to get themselves amped up a little bit more for the Brown season. Then you get to Saturday and you do the whole thing all over again. I don't know. Does it take a little bit of excitement out for

22:02you knowing that this entire weekend you weren't really thinking about positively, negatively, this team eight days away from the opener? I mean, it's different. Like I said, I've accepted the quarterback situation for what it is for a long time. I think there's a lot of Brown's fans that are more engaged with college football this year than they are the Browns just because of all the quarterbacks. Like they're looking for the next guy and I mean, I was seeing it this weekend. I mean, social media was alive, which is Brown's fans just nitpicking and praising and hating on all the quarterbacks that we saw this weekend. Like everyone's got their favorites, everyone's got their biases. Are we going to do a QB tracker for like the top nine quarterbacks now? Is that what's going to happen? I won't be, but I just I don't have that time. But I look, I think that's where a lot of Brown's fans attention is right now because you're going to get to watch that on Saturday and then on Sunday, you're going to watch the, okay, this is what the quarterbacks

23:06I saw yesterday are trying to fix. Like that's what we're trying to slide into. And you know, it's it is what it is. Like whoever plays quarterback for the Browns this season, I don't think he's going to impress. Yeah, it's interesting because obviously I think the main factors to why people are kind of putting the Browns at arms length outside of the fact that they're telling you without telling you that this probably isn't going to be anything more than if everything breaks their way and seven, eight wins season. That's like peak of what you probably would assume their ceiling is. I think it obviously has to do mainly with the fact that to Sean Watson has been named as your starting quarterback. And we're going to get into whether or not this is a two week tryout of four week tryout. Like how long he gets the fact of the matter is week one when your excitement level is supposed to be peak for whether you're the Browns, the Jets, the Cardinals or you're the defending you know, Super Bowl champions. It's supposed to be tip top shape. I do think that a lot of people have just come around to the idea that they didn't give me anything last year. And last year was a

24:07lot of people still with high expectations and a little bit of excitement, whether it was Joe Flacco starting the year off, should or Sanders eventually knowing that he was going to be the starting quarterback. This year, there's just none of that. You know, should or is there and he's going to start you're intrigued by tailing green, but you don't think that either of them are going to be that good. And you have to get through the to Sean Watson thing before then. And I think that's the issue is that the things to be excited about the Browns this season. And we've talked about this on this station at length about the rookies and the wide receivers and Jared verse and you know, all these, you know, new young players that we feel are are making up what's a good young core at the same time. The quarterback play leaves nothing out. Like I think even else unless you're one of like Shadore's biggest fans and you're a Shadore exclusive fan, I don't even think you're that excited issue to, you know, see Shadore Sanders this year. Well, I think just in this sense that seeing him is no longer seeing to Sean. And that's probably the only reason that will be excited and when that eventually happens, which it will

25:10happen at some point this year, whether by injury or whether just by bad play, like you're going to see it. But I no one's excited to see I think Shadore at this point. Nobody's definitely excited to see don't Gabriel. If he goes out there, maybe we can't team if tailing green goes out there and the teams like four and 12 like, okay, I'm talking about like, yeah, maybe, you know, maybe he'll show something. He's not going to be the franchise guy, but like that's the problem. And there's not a lot of optimism because I think most people are saying that the ceiling is probably like seven wins. Maybe they could push eight, but like sevens probably were there caps. And so a lot of people have also said to like seven wins as a disaster season because that's going to take you out of draft range and you're not going to make the playoffs. You're not going to achieve either goal. Right. Well, so you mentioned like the young players and I, again, I don't want to come in here like the Monday before week one and just, you know, crap all over everything. But anytime that you mentioned Casey Concepcion, Denzel Boston, the young guys that we've all been super excited about that performed that are first and second round picks or performed really,

26:10really well last year in Quinshaw and Harold Fanon. Every time that I think about players like that, I have to think about, well, it's just strong Watson, even get to get the damn ball to him. Like, am I even going to see them make exciting catches or is it going to be, I'm just going to see them running wind sprints for 60 minutes on Sunday. Yeah. And I think that's a lot of people's concerns. Like we've talked about it. Like you have these two young wide receivers that you want to see show flashes, but the quarterback has to get them the ball. Right. And so I'm not expecting a ton of deep shots to be taken on Sunday or even when Doshan's really playing it all. I think they're going to play it a little bit safe. But Casey Concepcion's the type of guy. Like, you can throw a bubble screen. You can throw across or you can get the ball in his hands with jet sweeps. Like I still think that there are areas to get these young guys the ball and at least let them show what they can do. Even with Doshan on the field, I'm not as worried about that because I think that's more Todd Monkins job. So help me out. Cause what obviously I think Jared verse, he's at a premium position. He's the new guy that's going to be under heavy scrutiny,

27:13even from like casual Brown fans. Like I feel like casual Brown fans, we can tell them that Carson Swashier and Mesa Gram are really good. But when you're watching the game, you know, if they're not breaking up the play in the back field or if they're not intercepting a pass, like it's kind of hard to see exactly what they're doing well or poorly. Other than Denzel Ward and Jared verse, like, you know, what guys do I am I supposed to be excited about? Is it that Casey can get underneath? Is it that Quinchon is still going to run with his hair on fire? Is it stuff like that? I think it's, I think it is that. But it's also the softens of line. Brand new obviously five new starters from a year ago. Like how do they gel together? If the offensive line's not good, you're not going to see that out of Quinchon. Like that's why I think a lot of people are hesitant to get all on the Quinchon Judd Kinstrain because the offensive line play was so bad last year that it actually hurt him and he was good despite that. So if he actually gets relatively average offensive line play in the run game, he should have a phenomenal

28:13year. Like we're talking probably over, you know, definitely over a thousand yards of fucking maybe like 13, 1400 yards. Maybe this year for Quinchon Judd Kinstrain if he stays healthy. So that's one thing I think obviously you talked about the receivers defensively. It's a brand new defense. We have a first year coordinator. He's never called plays before on the defensive side. You have corners that you're looking at like Denzel Ward Tyson Campbell and a bunch of young guys after that. And then like defensive lines of mess because you lost Alex, right? I give Jared Versin, you're going to probably start Derek Barnett alongside him who has not played yet in a, you know, Browns uniform. You got Azamie Gwyer. They picked up the guy off the Cowboys, Sam Williams. You're not doing a very good job at making him feel more optimistic. I'm just naming the rostering the further down. But like it's not the offense should still look better despite the quarterback play. Like that's what I'm saying is I think the offense will still be better just because of the talent around it or the I think the players are better, right?

29:15The receiver room has had a complete like overhaul. Jerry Judy is not the best receiver in that room. He's probably not the second best receiver in their last year. He was like by far the best wide receiver in that room. The offensive line is new and it's there's a lot of things. You're like stretch. You're really stretching for this stuff. And it's like anything that you can say, and I'm not even like arguing with you that there's not more talent than there was last year. There clearly is. But anything that you say of like, Hey man, Quinshot could have a 1300 yard rushing season. I can say the same thing to you. You have five new offensive lineman. How long does that take to actually gel? Like and how am I supposed to in any way shape or form feel like to Sean Watson isn't going to look like what I saw him the last time he was out on the field against the bills. You don't know that's for Todd monkey figure out. That's awesome. What am I supposed to tell you Anthony want me to sit here and tell you that I believe that to Sean Watson's going to play better than he has like no, I don't believe it. No, it's just I'm I hated. I like the fact that I didn't have to talk about the Browns all weekend and not really even think about

30:18them because there was so much going on. But when we get to Wednesday, it's all going to be we're getting ready for week one. And I know that in my heart of hearts as a Browns fan, it's going to crop back up for me that I'm excited and we're going to try and buy myself into something. And I was hoping maybe not you specifically, but that somebody would just like help me out a little bit is to like, Hey, here's what you should be super excited about. I am excited about the young guys. I just don't know if they're going to get the ball. I am excited about the defense. I just don't know how they're going to look without Jim Schwartz as as his guy. Probably word. But there are guys. It's not anybody important. Literally up until last night's game, Trindad Chamblis, who Michael said is too old for Andrew Barrett's draft. There were guys all weekend. That's a wild statement. No. What did I did I say anything wrong? Did you say I find it very hard to believe that Andrew Berry would draft a will be 25 year old quarterback in round one. So that takes Chamblis out of the equation. Despite the fact that it seemed to work out well for the States this past year. Tyler Schuck looked good. That take anybody else out of the equation? How old is Dante Moore? You know, there's a lot of guys that have been in college for a long ass time at this point. I think Dante Moore would be 24 or 24. Okay. Well, we'll start with Dante Moore. Is there any players, I guess, that you were impressed by or unimpressed by go? So I will say this weekend, I had some family in. So I wasn't as like locked in on a lot of the

35:35games as I maybe could have been like I didn't watch archmaning this weekend. I thought from what I saw he looked pretty good, but I did not actually watch that game. I thought Dante Moore in the second half against boys. He stayed was like really good. Like Dante Moore, like was one of the best quarterbacks I saw this weekend. I thought he was like very much in control. He was the best player on the field. I thought by far and he pretty much willed organ to victory in that one. Darryen Mensa though. Friday night five touchdown passes, three to Malachi Tony. Look, I know people don't there's there's a lot of things that kind of go against Darryen Mensa. His heights won his ages and other, you know, the fact that he goes to Miami and he's kind of like this mercenary quarterbacks like another, but man, I really like him. He's he can play in everywhere. He's been he's won. He's wanted to group a five level. He went to Duke last year and won the ACC because of stupid rules, but he still won the ACC. Now he's at Miami. Like Darryen Mensa is a good player. He really

36:35impressed me. I saw a lot of CJ Carl last night. I was underwhelmed in the first half and that's coming from someone who really likes CJ Carlot. I thought he was much better in the second half, but he was kind of underwhelming. And then he gets to turn to that champ list who I was able to watch a lot in the second half. I thought he was really good. Like he's a gamer. Like if you like Baker Mayfield, you really like the Trinidad champ list. They are very similar quarterbacks in the way they play. I just don't see the Browns going in that direction, but you know, he still got all season to prove it, but he was really, really good last night for all this too. I just don't think if you were to ask anybody around Cleveland who knows that there's a lot of quarterbacks, but has basically heard the names Archmaning Julian Sayon, Lenora Sellers and Dante Moore. I don't know if after this first weekend, they're really changing anything. Like the things that you look out for with Texas is playing God knows who in Ohio State is playing ball state. You're just looking to see if they don't make an ass of themselves. Wisconsin's a lot better team than ball state in Texas state, but CJ Carl didn't look that great in the first half. He didn't

37:38look insanely impressive in the second half to the point where I was like, okay, that was a good game from CJ car, but I don't think that after week one, anybody's really changing up that they still don't want Archmaning or Lenora Sellers Julian Sayon. Whoever you came into the season with knowing, like I think a lot of it's going to have to do with next week how Ohio State does against Texas, much like what it was like last year. Well, it's how arts looks against that Ohio State defense. And I know that it's a lot, it's it's remodeled. It's not the same defenses was last year, but the arts looked lost. And he has gotten a lot better. I think the people who know more than I do were saying stuff about, you know, Arch's footwork, his mechanics on Saturday versus what we saw last year, like night and day. He's gotten so much better. So we'll see how he does against the Ohio State defense Julian Sayon's another one like there's not much I can say about Julian Sayon. They played ball state. Like I mean, I did watch that whole game, but like he's fine. I my concerns about Julian Sayon are strictly physical. Like I just his heights, I think, I think an issue. I know some people have some issues about his arm strength. I think it's good enough.

38:42I heard the Bill Bender was saying which Jake and Nick earlier, like he's like Bonex. And that to me sounds about right. Okay. That's what Julian Sayon is to me. He's like that Bonex type of quarterback. He'll get the job done. I just don't seem going, you know, top of the draft like some of these other guys like Arch, Dante Moore, Lennora Sellers, I still think are probably going to be your first quarterbacks off the board. I think Darian Mensa can play his way into that conversation. And I think in this is probably a conversation for January, February, March, but I think if the Browns were to come out of this whole thing with a guy that is comped to be Bonex, despite the fact that Bonex is a pretty damn good quarterback, but he's in a, he's, you know, helped along by a really good coach and a good system. I think that we'd be like, all right, well, we signed up for another like Baker Mayfield ask, you know, I don't want to go get Trinidad Chamblis. I don't want to go get Darian Mensa, despite the fact that much like a lot of very successful quarterbacks. He's been in a lot of different systems. He's had to learn on the fly at a very, very high level. And now he's at Miami that they could very well win the national championship this year. I want to go get my big ticket

39:47item. I just wonder how much from other guys is going to take people to move off of Arch and Dante more. I don't even know where Julian Sains mocked. Is he like a mid first round pick at this point? Yeah, I would say that. Like I think he'll probably end in mid first, maybe even early second around pick. So maybe I'm jumping the gun a little bit. You're going to get to the late first round and there's be teams that aren't going to be taking quarterbacks. So he just maybe we got quarterback that slides into round two. I like Julian Sain a lot. Like he is deadly accurate. I think a big plus to him is the fact that Arthur Smith is the offensive coordinator now. And they talked about this on the broadcast on Saturday, but they're running a complete pro style offense. Yeah. Like he is learning things at an extremely difficult and high value. And he is picking up on it. And like I say, he's accurate with the ballies on time. It's just the physical attributes of saying that I think a lot of people it's holding them back on him just a little bit. Again, he's got all season to prove it. We'll see how he looks against Texas on Saturday. And they got a brutal schedule. But he's like one of those guys where it's like if the Browns were to win like seven eight games and like miss the playoffs,

40:50that might be a guy that you'd be in range to say, you know what? Like yeah, if he's bonix, we'll take it. So it's mentioned German actually brought this up this morning that when you're trying to evaluate Julian Sain how difficult is it to evaluate him when you know that Jeremiah Smith is down there somewhere. And I could not think of anybody else that should or Sanders because Shadore would run around his footwork was bad. His timing was off. All these different things would happen. And then his bailout failsafe button was, hey, I'm going to toss the ball up to Travis Hunter and you know, the Cincinnati or UCF cornerback, you know, whatever guy's selling insurance right now is going to get lost by Travis Hunter. And if I were to be comfortable with drafting Julian Sain because of his arm strength and his, you know, what's going on between the ears, that's all well and good. But the Browns have a lot of good wide receivers. They don't have Jeremiah Smith. They don't have a Justin Jefferson right now. So that would definitely be the one thing that I love looking at guys like

41:51Lunora sellers that maybe don't have that much going on around them. If they can still perform at a significantly high level, I would almost tend to go with that guy other than the guy that just can toss the ball up to like somebody that looks like he could be an all pro right now in the NFL. And that's where it gets kind of hard. And I agree with you. And I think that's where like Lunora sellers, I think it's still very much a part of this conversation because he has the physical attributes. He's got the arm. He's got the legs. He's got the size like I love it. And I've been on him for the last two years. But sellers is like the prototypical quarterback that everyone wants. The problem is he plays on a bad team in a very tough conference. So he plays an extremely difficult schedule and they don't win games. So it looks bad on him. I thought he should have gotten the heck out of there and transferred like I thought he was going to become the Miami quarterback. And then they went with Derry and Mensa instead. But like Lunora sellers, there's a reason that people cannot quit that guy. I can't literally for the last two years. I've been talking about state on Saturday. And I get it. Ken State is one of the ones. Easy. Yes. Easy. But like he looked really good. And he is one of

42:55those players though. As you said, Anthony, that he plays such a difficult schedule year in, year out because he's in the SEC and because he doesn't have the talent around him. That like if he plays well against SEC competition, he's going to shoot up draft boards. Like he could be a six win, he could be on a six win team and go top five. Yeah. I mean, Gene Dengles won the Heisman. They missed the playoffs and he was the second overall pick. So you know, if you're drafting based on attributes, you can rise. You know, if you can rise the boats like that's what you can do. Like I don't think there's anything he can do though to get like ahead of Archen Nantemore. Like I think Archen Nantemore are unless they get injured, which we sure don't hope happens or in case they just fall off a cliff and their seasons just go off the rails. I don't see any way. Those are not your first two quarterback taking next year. Now that might be advantageous for the Browns because yeah, you're missing out on your, you know, headline or names from this draft. We have no idea how they're going to turn out, but the guys that everybody's been talking about for the last two to three years. But if we kind of

43:58all believe that this is a four to six win team, four to six wins is probably not going to be enough to get you those first couple of picks. So if you can still be comfortable with a guy like Lenora sellers at pick five, pick six, whatever it ends up being, I'm okay with that. I look, I'm with you. I love Lenora sellers. Last year was not a good year for the Lenora Lenora sellers high. I'll say that like it was not. It was rough here. It was a bad year, but we're hoping he bounces back. Again, I just, I wish he had gotten out of there because South Carolina right now feels like a sinking ship with their coach and everything else. And it's just one of those things. But you know, it's week one. Like we saw a lot of these quarterbacks play very bad competition. So again, next week and then once we get the conference play is especially when we're going to start seeing these guys rise to the level to one six four seven four double o 92. So I should add Darien Menson to my my list of quarterbacks that I absolutely need to watch. Okay. I don't like watching my Amy football, but that's fine.
