You're listening to Israel Today ongoing war report, I'm Noah Levi. The IDF has confirmed the elimination of two Hamas terrorists involved in the October 7 massacre and subsequent hostage-taking. Hassan Mahmoud Siam, identified as a Hamas commander and operative Adam Sabhai Salim Ziyara were killed in Gaza. According to the IDF, Siam was involved in holding Israeli hostages, including Armen

Sousana and Keith and Ava Vasejil. Both Siam and Ziyara were reportedly attempting to rebuild Hamas's terror capabilities and had planted explosive devices. In a separate operation, the IDF and Shin Bet killed Hamas finance department Chief Muhammad Abu Al-Wan in Khan Unis. Army Radio reports Abu Al-Wan managed Hamas's external funds before October 7 and internal funds for terrorist operations afterward. On the international front, the United Nations Human Rights Office has added 61 more companies to its database for operating in Israeli West Bank settlements, which the UN considers illegal. This brings the total number of firms on the sensitive list to 214. Siam's diplomatic mission has criticized the list, calling it a distorted mechanism, designed to persecute the Jewish state. Meanwhile, foreign minister Gideon Sahr continues his diplomatic push to encourage foreign governments to move their embassies to Jerusalem. Columbia is expected to become the 10th country to establish an embassy there, with an understanding

also reached with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Sahr views this diplomatic progress as a critical component of national security. In domestic Israeli politics, protesters gathered outside the Dutch embassy in Rarmart Gann, demanding transparency regarding a phone call between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and then Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on the morning of October 7, 2023. Netanyahu's diary records show the call took place at 10.30am before his first public address to the nation that day. Demonstrators believe the contents of this conversation could shed light on potential governmental failings during the initial hours of the Hamas attack, turning to concerns about antisemitism. Italian authorities have conducted a raid on a neo-Nazi network that was allegedly plotting an attack on a synagogue. Seventeen suspects, 14 of the miners, were apprehended. Investigators reportedly found bomb manuals and weapons, and the group is accused of praising Hitler spreading antisemitic propaganda, denying the Holocaust and recruiting members online,

separately in London, a 45-year-old man pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of two Jewish men in April. Prosecutors have now concluded that there is insufficient evidence to classify the attack as terrorism, a revision from the initial investigation. In economic news, the Jerusalem Harhotsfim High Tech Park has completed a NIS-44 million redevelopment project. The Jerusalem Development Authority announced the Six-Year Project included significant infrastructure improvements, with projections indicating the park will host over 25,000 employees and strengthen Jerusalem's, standing as a hub for innovation and employment. Finally, an Israeli teenager was tragically killed in a Russian drone attack on an apartment building in Kiev. Fourteen-year-old Daniel Umansky was among at least five people killed in the strike, which also injured more than 20. The family has reportedly requested his body be flown to Israel for burial.
