Well, great to see you again. We had an opportunity to meet in person last week in Chicago. And, you know, I'd love to get your thoughts on, you know, just that event and people that we were able to meet and people that we were able to witness speak.

And, yeah, it was incredible. Yeah, Mike. Hey, thanks for having me on. First of foremost, it's great to see you virtually. But last week, that was incredible. And, yeah, they tell you, and it was even said at the event itself that, yeah, never meet your heroes because they don't really add up in person. But, you know, all of a sudden finding yourself in a room with Glenn Greenwald and Max Blumenthal, Jimmy Dorr, Judge Napolitano, John Karyaki, John Mirishammer. I mean, the list goes on and on and on. Was incredible. Um, is absolutely incredible. And the event itself was, I mean, beyond anything I even expected. I don't know if you had a chance to go over to the Palmer and have an original Brownie. Um, but that changed my life. I straight up. So, yeah, I should have done that. I did, is that I didn't know I went to Osheball to get a burger. Oh, I didn't. Oh, that's, that's the, that's best hamburger I've ever had in my life. Next time. Next year, next year, we'll go.

We'll go for sure. And then we'll go to the original Brownie man. Um, it is like nothing I have ever had. And the Palmer apparently created it in 1894. And I couldn't wait to stuff one down my gut. But, uh, it makes all other brownies and posters. Um, and can never be replicated. So, highly recommend it. Plus, like, you walk into the Palmer and where they have like the bar and restaurant area. And then, um, I think it's, uh, is, uh, I mean, every major jazz act. Um, every major music act from like Frank Sinatra on back played there at some point in the middle of the 1900s. And like, it's, uh, I had FaceTime my kids while I was sitting there and my four year old thought I was sitting in a church because the ceilings were all painted. Um, like it was a cysteen chapel. The event space we were into was just mind blowing. And the, the ability, I think that's, you know, for these people to put this thing together is the most important part where.

The only people out there right now who are even remotely in the ballpark on truth and what's going on in the world and a really realistic lens is independent media. And, you know, as you know with Max Blumenthal in particular. Um, or even Glenn Greenwald or John Kerry, you start telling the truth. And they try to isolate you. And I think it's really important for everybody to get together, uh, at least once a year like that. And, you know, be able to network and know there's other people out there. Um, if you have problems, but also just to validate what's going on and put an exclamation point on the type of information that is being pumped out to people. And it hopefully can kind of change the discourse and the, the arc that we're on generally speaking here. Well, and I also think, you know, it's Matthew Ho, who, you know, human eye had spoken right before and he wasn't able to make it. But he was saying, you know, he's like, it's so, it's so important for people to meet in person. Yes.

And, you know, a lot of us, you know, we've known each other for a few years. And, you know, like Matt Bracken, I've had on my show. I think 30 times now, but I've never met him in person. Michael Jan, same thing. Uh, but, you know, we've never met in person. So for the idea that we were able to, you know, see each other face to face and like, oh, yeah, I know your show or I know this story and this. And here, Glenn Greenwell, I thought was, I mean, that guy just started speaking like, you know, it was like a, uh, a, a mixture of just glides in that round table. And he was talking about Edward Snowden in 2013 and not knowing what he looked like and. To hear what the, I mean, to be a lot to be in person and to hear all that. Wow. Oh, it's incredible. It was, it was absolutely incredible. Um, I wish it was longer. It was, uh, one of those two times I was on the road where I, uh, wanted to milk my trip for an extra couple of dates. Uh, I didn't want to let it go. So now, you know, I, and obviously, you know, put your, all your descriptions for your links for your show. Uh, you know, when I publish this and when we talk about it at the end, um, you know, what you're doing, but with your show.

But, uh, you know, I, I want to start off by asking you, what's the top of your mind right now? There's so many things going on. So to, oh, then before you answer that today, let me date stamp this today is September 20, what is it? 23rd, 24th, 24th. Uh, what's the top of your mind, Jim? Man, um, any number of things. I mean, this is kind of the, I don't know. I don't know. It's, it's the, I don't want to say it's a problem. I hate to outline things negatively. But it just seems like everything is accelerating all at the same time. And then you have this conscious, media strategy in the administration to totally flood the zone with just information permanently. There's always a new outrage to take your eye off the ball or in their case, you know, kind of a screw up repeated screw ups. Um, the biggest thing that sticks out to me right now, unfortunately, is it's twofold. Um, the first is I can't shake a max blue menthol story from my brain about how they are really hammering down on him.

And then you see, you know, people like green blood in person or John Karyaki folks who've blown the whistle or enabled whistleblers and know that in the past, the governments come after him. Um, but then on the flip side, the biggest, the most important issue right now is resolving our war with Iran. But Tucker released an episode yesterday, um, with, uh, I just played the clip of my show. I'm, I saw a brand of wiker, brand of wiker. I can't wait for God's name. It's been, it's been a long morning already. But about the real possibility of the use of nuclear weapons to end this. And this has been bouncing around for months. And I've always viewed, you know, historically, right? Like we're kind of cold war kids. If you want to put it that way. Um, it's all the specter has always been out there. But the use has been understood to be completely taboo. You would never, ever do this for any number of reasons from the practical all the way up. But even wiker is out there. And any number of people I know who worked in the administration, um, or talk to regularly say, yeah, this is a, this is a real thing going on inside the White House.

And we've got an unresultable conflict, um, short of us doing the right thing or the president doing the right thing and kind of eating crow and walking away from it that doesn't have a military solution. Uh, we don't have any kind of diplomacy that is in action. In fact, if you look at the State Department, it's been stripped out of the studs financially in terms of personnel. I think something like 90% of ambassadors have been confirmed aren't from the diplomatic core. They are donors. So that's just ineffectual on its face. And the MS areas for the United States are two business men, one of whom is the son-in-law cushioner of Trump who don't know what they're doing. And it doesn't seem to be there's any any kind of real attempt to resolve this diplomatically. Um, and so it keeps coming back to how do we get out and we have a president who's overrun, um, all other branches of government and has started a war without the authorization of Congress.

And I don't think it's too far of a stretch when you put on those things together to say, hey, he might use a load yield nuke to get us out of Iran. Um, ostensibly in his mind, it wouldn't get us out. It would, you know, pop a genie out of a bottle that you can't put back in and change the entire dynamic of how the world functions to the negative and has just massive long term negative implications for the US. And I apologize for the rant, but the back end of this is the economic part of it. Um, gas prices are out of control. We have the one of the key export regions for fertilizer on earth that is bottled up and we have we haven't begun to see what the impacts of that are on crop yields moving forward. Um, the price of food and the overall impact on our domestic economy from any number of angles from inflation to the spending we're doing on this war. Um, to possibly most importantly, the destroyed relationships we have around the world with other key nations.

Um, and I would say in a nutshell, um, tying all that together, that's at the front of my mind because I think about my kids and what kind of world they're going to inherit and it's a, I hate to, to be black pill on this, but it doesn't look like it's going to end well. Um, and I can't fit life with me, try and walk myself out logically to an affirmative solution. Yeah, I, you know, in simple terms, we're, we're fucked, right? I mean, that's it. But, but you know what though, it doesn't mean, you know, I don't, I don't look at you as black, but I think you're just being objective of where, of where we are. And, you know, it doesn't mean that we don't get out of bed every day. We do what we do. You do your show. I do my show. Uh, you know, we keep looking for more meaningful conversations to have. And hopefully, uh, you know, people can get an idea of how to best handle this, right? I mean, so, um, yeah, I'm not, you know, people have got so mad. They're like, well, you know, why even get out of bed? I'm not saying that. I've never said that.

But you also have to look at these things and be like, okay, where, where are we at with this now? So, I friend of mine called me this morning. I didn't get a chance to listen to all of Brandon's conversation, but he, he was listening. My friend was listening to Brandon, and then I had Paul Craig Robertson yesterday. And I don't know if you know Paul or Craig, he was by Craig. He worked on, yeah, he worked on a Ronald Reagan in the Treasury Department. Yeah. But he was real dark. Like listening to him yesterday. He was the same thing. Real dark about nougs and, um, so it's like, I don't know if you know Paul or Craig, he was by Craig. And so it's like, yeah, there's something, something definitely going around right now with this idea. But I, you know, I don't know, I come back to the question to tie into like the economic side. Like what is this war really all about like it never made sense from the get go to me. You don't even hear the idea of nuclear, like getting having Iran get rid of a nuclear weapon anymore. Like you notice how you don't hear that. Yeah. No, it's, it's kind of funny. I mean, they've changed the goalpost on how many different times. Where it's, I mean, the, I think it's very important not to lose the stated reason on was it day one or two when you had both Mike Johnson and Secretary of State, Marco Rubio walk out and say, in effect, we did this for his return.

They were going to do it. So we did it. And we followed their lead. And now we're in it. And it's the absolute inverse of my experiences marine where you, you, you have, with effective planning, you have a, you have a stated and state, you have your objectives, say, OK, this is where we're going. And then you work out how you're going to get there. And then you figure out what you need to get there. And if you look at any other conflict. We've ever been in good, bad, indifferent for the rationale. All that's been there. Go back to Iraq in 2003. Very terrible idea. But we worked up to the point where we had all the contingencies covered and we had the objective of taking out. It's not him who's saying and replacing his government. And then trying to insert or cultivate the Iraqi Thomas Jefferson, which was never going to happen. But at least there was an intent. And at least they sold that to the American people with, with Iran.

We went really nilly. Like on behalf of Israel and on day one assassinated the I told them. And much of his family. And then had a bunch of targeted strikes on key players inside the Iranian regime with this expectation that was not backed up by any domestic intelligence. That the entire regime would collapse. And something that we'd liked with effectively rise from the ashes and take over the country. That was kind of objective one alpha, I guess. And then you have the regurgitated rhetoric about a nuclear weapon, which they found incredibly hard to justify because they had told us last summer that the bombing under midnight hammer had gotten rid of the nuclear weapon. And then it became the nuclear dust. And now we got a situation where horror movies is closed and they're trying to turn this into some kind of crusade on behalf of the entire world to reopen the straight of four moves, which was closed because we attacked Iran.

And on top of that, that was a contingency that you have the president on the record saying in any number of briefings that nobody could have predicted. But that's not backed up by reality where US war games going back to general van Riper in the early 2000s. He was a retired Rincor General Vietnam vet all around just masterful military mind played the Iranians and closed the straight and sunk the US fleet in about five or 10 minutes. And speaking with folks like Joe Kent and other people inside the administration. They told the president that this was going to happen if they did it. And Tulsi Gabbard was in the Washington Post or sorry, the Wall Street Journal in a piece. I believe it was a couple of weeks ago. Still waiting in line again. That's time you'll never get back. These her words were there saying that they brief the president. Hey, like if you do this, it's going to be closed. And so now we're in a situation where it is closed. The only way to open it seems to be to actually give into the Iranian.

And we're going to take negotiating points on what needs to happen to take their tiktate, if you will. And we've backed ourselves into a point where that has to happen. But you still have a guy like Trump, whose ego will not allow him to do that. He for some reason, use himself as some kind of masterful. Military brain, even though he dodged the draft multiple times in Vietnam, yet every opportunity to go out and prove himself on the battlefield and he declined. Now he's some kind of Napoleon out there who can't admit that this is failed and failed horrifically and it goes back to the planning part of it. Like we have a bunch of people who run the show here who don't understand what it takes to win in a conflict. And I'll cut my my rant short here. Mike, because you got me going. But keep going Jim. You don't need to stop for my sake. Okay. Okay. But no, the key, one of the key things that was never even really examined out in the open was that we do not have the capabilities in our doctrine and our equipment to counter the most probable course of two most probable courses of action.

And that's a military term for the Iranians, one being the ability to play on their home, on their home field and close hormones. We'd have anything there to counter that the second and most important piece is how they would engage us. And that was through their missile program and that's been on display for a number of years and we took most of our anti aircraft defenses out of our of our four structures. During the global war on terrorism because the Taliban and al-Qaeda and the Iraqi insurgents be fought and any number of places didn't have an air force. They didn't have a missile capability and there is this giant push to free up manpower across the military to support these never ending deployments. So you strip these guys out, you repurpose them, you stop developing the capability and the Iranians spend a lot of time watching us in Iraq, Afghanistan, Iraq a couple of times, they watched us for 40 years and they found the seam and it wasn't a secret.

I still have friends in Akididi who I talked to very regularly and none of this was a secret to the guys inside the military. The problem was is a leadership of the topic, Nordic and seemingly ignored it deliberately. Why? I don't know, I could assign some value there but I'll refrain for the time being. But it was just a thought out really dumb. We walked ourselves into a bad situation that doesn't have a good ending for US prestige but the worst possible thing we could do would be use a low yield nuke because it would ruin our reputation. Whatever is left of it and launches into a world where we truly are the bad guy who has to be dealt with on probably multiple levels. And I didn't get a chance to, I only saw clips from Brandon's conversation with Tucker but you know based on what my friend was saying was he was was Brandon talking about how the CIA is running things and everyone's ignoring Trump. Is that correct? I didn't see that part of it. I've seen parts of myself. I saw it enough for my show today.

It's so hard to keep up because there's just stuff thrown. I told Larry Johnson I said man if I just try to keep up with him because he's doing like five or six shows a day. I can't even, I couldn't even keep up with you know just if I was just trying to follow you that would take up my whole day. Oh yeah. But you know I'm often wonder through all this and I'm going to reference my friend Michael Young's wife Musako Ganaha. She had in a few people listening probably familiar but if you're not she's an independent media out of Japan at a Okinawa. And she was the one that went in Davos a few years ago went up to Klaus Schwab and said can I do an interview with you. And he was like who are you with and she's like independent media and he's like oh no no no. But she referenced the fact that she was able to get so close and there was minimal amount of security which made you you know make you think wow maybe he wasn't so powerful maybe he's just a figurehead that you were able to get that get that much access to him. Makes me wonder with Trump is he a non-player character on all this is this machine just moving us in a certain direction and has been for a very long time and I'll tell you and I know I heard Patrick say this.

Catherine Austin Fitz has talked about COVID 2.0 Patrick says something similar in your live stream. They did in relation to and I I put out a post on acts right when this war started saying I got the feeling of 2020 COVID 2020. And the parallels of what was happening then versus what's happening now now it's different. But remember it was two weeks of slow the spread this is going to be a three day war. Right the goal post are constantly get moved move move move and I'll tell you the other thing is with this there's a lot there's not a lot there's people that are making a lot of money right now. And I've often wondered I mean how do I know maybe a lot maybe the heads of a runner making a ton of money from this Israel turkey who knows. Yeah no it's does your inner all the other points I mean I'll go back to the first thing the first thing you said is he an NPC. I mean there's a there's a great saying that no matter who you vote for you get John McCain and ain't that the truth where.

If you run this all the way back to George Bush second George Bush we have elected people continuously on a platform of non intervention George Bush's big thing before down 11 was we don't want to be the world's policeman anymore. And then that 11 happens and people give him carte launch. Barack Obama probably biggest disappointment that well other than Trump was you know he was an anti war president he was going to get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan and he kind of sort of got us out of Iraq. But then he escalated in Afghanistan and that was kind of a surprise but the escalation Afghanistan was justified by withdrawing from Iraq. And then that was you know said to have created ISIS which then got us back into Iraq for a whole another war we're still there we're still rotating active duty guys to Iraq. Biden did get us out of Afghanistan but he escalated in places like Ukraine got us like just you know the money that went into the Afghan war just was moved over into the Ukraine war.

And then you have Trump who ran three times three times as an anti war candidate and I worked on the hill during his first term and it was you know I had I had great hopes for the guy but the answer to see in people like John Bolton become his national security adviser Mike Pompeo being secretary of state and became very apparent that there is a deep embedded force within the government which tries to maintain continuity. And if you remember back from Glenn Greenwell's talk while we were in Chicago you know you was saying and Kiryaki was echoing it that the deep state is real so there is there is definitely a force at play in the background which is guiding everything and that's quite creepy when you start thinking about it but. COVID 2.0 that Henningson Henningson talked about it and I think it's important to separate it out from the necessarily the the pro war propaganda vice what we could actually see every any number of conflicts that we've had we're supposed to welcome with flowers particularly Baghdad we were supposed to welcome the flowers in 2003 and that turned into it absolutely grinding bloody insurgency and then civil war.

Afghanistan same deal we're supposed to be like oh we're going to liberate these people from the Taliban well Taliban storm control so that you know that was never really a reality and I just think I think the push there rhetorically is to try and validate the plan as it were to the squishy middle nobody wants you to be honest if you're pitching for a war because wars historically going for long periods of time they're incredibly costly in terms of blood and treasure and if you take the honest approach which our system demands then you're not going to get a war from the people it's if you tell Congress and the people who elect them that hey yeah we're going to go to war with Iran it's going to take about 10 or 15 years tens of thousands of people are going to die your gas is going to be two to three times the price of it goods you're going to go up or probably going to go into a recession but I promise you it's worth it like do you think that would work Mike. No never yeah yeah and then you know but it's the way things should work right it's the way it's the way things should be but then COVID 2.0 I mean I'm not going to lie when I had Henningson on my program earlier he started talking about it as the result of a potential you know nuclear strike on the Iranians where immediately you're going to have lockdown measures on ports facilities

domestically we will be shoved into a state of at least preparedness for a global conflict and then the back end of that would be dissent being like these programs being absolutely smashed out of the gate because you know you can't you can't have that or it's not you can't have that it's that it gives these people the opportunity to squish the only voices who disagree at least publicly in any type of organized fashion with what they're doing. And I really hope we don't get there but I'm not putting it out of the realm of possibility either. Yeah see he when he said was a different perspective that I had not heard before before which you know I appreciate that I was thinking in terms of when this whole thing started and I referenced this conversation a bunch on here so I tried to try not be redundant but my friend Matt Smith had pointed out like how he felt during 2020 and all fairness I wasn't paying attention to this stuff like I still had faith in the institutions and I was not going to say that. I was like oh they closed Vegas oh my god that must be real like they never close Vegas right you could have a heart you could have a heart attack on the blackjack table they wouldn't even close it down for you you could die right underneath and they hold your spot while you're dying and you know everybody else can keep playing I mean that's the truth.

I think that they shut Las Vegas down that's a degenerate of degenerates of cities in the world right. I'm like man this must be real. But you know you when you to me this whole thing is is I you know I just wonder if it's manufactured like they don't want to open this thing up. And if you want to kill a lot of people like my friend Michael young's always talked about famine like you want famine routes and resources choke those out. This is a pretty good strategy and you know now it goes from one straight to two straights being closed because of who these you got Russia getting hit. You think I don't know I mean I'm not there so what for all we know this none of this is happening. I mean how do you there's no I mean I'm being kind of sarcastic but but like but you there's no way to know with any of this stuff. Yeah unless you unless you absolutely see it I mean you're bright but I go back to one of the first lessons I learned working in Washington which is I had my legislative director pull me aside I was all we're I was working on the foreign relations committee for Ann Paul and I got really worked up about something.

I'm pretty easy got to work up on a lot of things something will take forever but issues of war in particular I get hot real fast and you know he said never you know never assign malfeasance as a motivator when incompetence is a perfectly good explanation and the problems that we've caused you know the actions are definitely malfeasance like it's there they're definitely malfeasant in the the way we've been about it assassinating ahead of state like we did in the opening rounds of a conflict something we've never done. Now that's a very dark dark thing it's also I liken it to you know basically the Israelis blooding us like we're in the mob because once you do something like that in a culture like the Iranians have there's no getting out. You know that's a you killed or the their head of state and equivalent of their pope in the process and you cannot walk that back so we're stuck and but the fact that we did that and nobody said hey pump the brakes to me is evidence of just gross incompetence and then you look at the planning cycle for this conflict it's just utterly incompetent we don't have the munitions we've been giving the munitions away like and this is outside of the justification is like if you wanted to prosecute this work

we don't have the assets to do it so what are you doing and what I see within the administration is basically a bunch of third and fourth tier people filling these positions like I hate to single people out necessarily but it's important here like Pete Hegseth this guy was a national guard officer he's not exactly a seasoned war fighter who went up through the ranks or anything like that. And I'm not taking anything away from his service I wasn't a career guy but at the same time you know he was a talking head Fox News he wasn't working in policy he wasn't working on the issues that are important he had never handled a budget that you know the Pentagon like the size of the Pentagon has or even an organization outside of maybe a dozen people that he's run before maybe two dozen and you don't have you have somebody who is not prepared which goes back to what you're talking about. Earlier which is you know an NPC I mean he's obviously an NPC he is he is the notional head of that organization but at the same time his opinions do carry weight and a secured offense says hey we should go ahead and do this regardless of the motivations behind the scenes pushing him out there to do it it gets done and you have this across the board and beyond that you have any number of vacancies within DOD that are being headed by acting directors acting

like acting secretary maybe acting secretary army. We don't have people who are running the show literally people who are running the show let alone qualified the qualified people the best people you have in any of these positions and the results are out there it's absolute chaos and. On the Iranian side you know there they do not have the world's most capable military they have a they have a doctrine which is designed to offset ours. And really it's it's not designed to necessarily defeat us like outright defeat and like you know the world war two sensor you're going to plant the flag and someone's capital or anything like that it's just to frustrate us and exact a cost to the point where we decide it's no longer worth it and.

The closure of Hormuz was always their trump card in this where it's my interpretation of it you know if you can jack up the price of oil for any number of countries on the periphery basically in this case all of Asia you know and Europe then you can get enough indirect pressure on the United States to back off why that hasn't happened yet I really don't know. Doesn't that make you wonder like if this whole thing is is and and that's where I keep coming back to 2020 and I'm like beating a dead horse here but yeah because I agree with you you know in the sense of are these incompetent people now I can't I can't I can't dispute it because you've been you've been closer to the room that I have I've never met you camp before I couldn't argue that with him because he was in the room literally in the room. But I also when I hear incompetence like I agree I agree with that but then I also come back to 2020 how well orchestrated the messaging globally countries or you know and I'm not just talking I'm not talking about the vaccines I mean it's part of it but also just a lockdown measures and everybody's messaging was perfectly in sync right I mean here in the United States it went from national to state to local and I know people will push back to.

I'm saying they're I'll get an email we didn't lock down in my area okay I get it like yes but generally the country locked down and that included Arizona where I live that's a Republican state Florida locked down initially Georgia everybody did some states just came out sooner but you know I mean they courted off basketball courts like where I lived I mean I mean I mean was it L.A. I you couldn't even go to the beach I just had somebody on talking about that you couldn't go to the beach yeah so. Is this another you know and Michael young set this like this is you know that period was another step step forward is this the next step or the next chapter. And then I asked the question is what was 2020 really all about what was that really really all about. I'm saying this is a question not that I have the answer to it but you know I mean what do you think that was about. And well I mean the only answer I have to like 2020 in particular was that it was the largest transfer of wealth and human history.

You know from the bottom of the top but I'm familiar with a lot of the theories on the vaccine that it was kind of a thinning of the herd. I don't know what to make of it I didn't get vaccinated I hate needles just generally speaking. And anytime a group of people tell me something is a good idea I tend to just like like you're all going to the bar well maybe I want to stay home. You are saying home I'm going to the bar by myself it's just the way I'm wired right and this though. Can I can I just add something to that because I remember you just reminded me of something I don't mean to laugh but it is kind of funny people and I'm sure this happened to you people were like I got selected. When they were on the shot that happened when you talk to anybody through that time they're like oh I got selected like there were the earning like the early entry winners of the lottery. And then there were people there was a Gordon Pierce restaurant which was a national it's gone now but they were lined up around the building of this Gordon Pierce restaurant in Phoenix. And I remember thinking I was saying to myself like oh wait six months to a year before I'd consider it and I saw the line around the building I'm like I ain't doing that.

Oh man yeah no I know I know you're saying I. I would kind of insular during COVID I was of an embaltimore and I had my row house it was like being in jail. I ran more miles than I've ever run in my life to the point where I give myself sense because my wreck time was just like going for a run and it's how I can see the neighborhood. And then I was trapped in my freaking house the rest of the day and it was horrible. But that was a I never really signed on to any of that crap and not many friends of mine did either somewhere in government and they very reluctantly wanted to keep their jobs and wouldn't did it. And it's as a personal choice but I looked at it like the when they started announcing variants in particular it confirms to me this was just like this was another version of like the F 35. You know where it's like oh well the first iteration didn't work so we got a you know we're going to tack on the next iteration. Oh that didn't work so it's a next iteration and it's just a money grab from the the big farmer companies doing this.

And when I also see that you see the absolute dog shit program the boom dog will that is the F 35. So if they can't get it right the first time why am I going to put that in my body I'm already getting you're already taking my tax dollars for an aircraft that can't fucking per my French. Can't hardly fucking fly. I can't do its job that is taking 25 years to figure out like this looks exactly the same to me yet you're telling me to inject it in my body I'm not going to do it. I'm going to I'm going to roll the dice I paid really close attention to you know all different podcasts like Joe Rogan and all the different commentators were coming out talking about the the risk groups and you know co morbidities and the rest of it and quickly figured out like man actually like. Hey I probably had this thing but be even if I do get it and it can hurt me because I was you know in my late 30s and and decent shape with no comorbidities so it's like all right well.

I forgot about that word comorbidities I've heard that word in a while. That's the way favorite word like it's somebody can be morbid but it's comorbid comorbidities. Yeah well here's the other thing with that too though is like not only the wealth transfer but you know the amount of. In emquoting this from somebody else as well evil this was there was a better way to do a wealth transfer than this it was pure unadulterated evil and more control grid. More ways to implement you know to lock people tighten the news on people you know they tested things that worked universal basic income was one of them. The tracing remember the train was a contact contact tracing contact tracing yep how far they were able to push people from being stripped of the civil liberties yeah. So here we are now with this and people will say well we'll never comply I'm like well yeah no they wouldn't do it they wouldn't do it the same way.

Take diesel out or make it so expensive make jet fuel so expensive or just remove it from the equation where you won't be able to you'll be just limited on where you can go. Right now another another big part of that is I'm never forgetting text messages and calls from my dad he was in I towards the. It was into 2021 little before half I threw 2021 I left Baltimore and moved to the middle of nowhere Missouri with my wife where she was from because of that. In large part yeah it was there was there was there was several factors involved in it but you know we had both been in Baltimore during the lockdown and man you want to talk about like. Like the evil that was turned turning your neighbors on each other I'll never forget that I'll never get over it either. Where the local Facebook pages were blowing up with like kids colorating in the park and like how dare they don't they know the dangers and. One morning I was running with a good friend of mine and we ran down to a local park and ignored the tape and got up on some chin up bars.

You know doing the healthy thing away from people and somebody took our picture and threw it up there and was like you know does anybody know these guys and blah blah blah blah blah and someone's like I think they came up behind me and breathed on me. While they were running and just like you want my germs like this is ridiculous but it was the notion of it and I think I mean I think you're onto something but it's one of these things right like I always go back to. The well used anecdote of the slow boil on the frog you test these things and you push the boundaries and you get a certain amount of compliance out of people you get people to move. Like the goal post if you will to what they're willing to accept and willing to do and fear is a very powerful motivator and it's been long enough since covid that it's I would argue it's even dropped out of. Like conversations like people of in large part put that behind them and I think there's forgiveness but it's.

You're in the saturated media environment where so much else is going wrong the people largely forgotten about how bad and unamerican that whole experience was and I'll bring up what's going on globally right now. But the the wardroams have not slowed down you have Europe poised probably to do something really stupid with the Russians Ukraine is about to collapse and that has been the pet project of any number of interests for several years and it's about to come out so or come the wheels about to come off. So I think they're willing to do to ensure that project continues. You've seen the Ukrainians attempt to link the war their war with Russia with Iran. I believe they attack some Iranian ships not too long ago up north of Iran I forget the exact name of the sea at present. So I think that's one of the are worth Iran which is not only effectively unresolvable and massively unpopular but it's putting us at odds with a large segment of the world that we have you know called competitors or threat or quite some time North Korea China Russia in particular and I wouldn't put past a black swan event to further justify what I'm going to go back to control.

They don't want people to have freedom of determination because I think at the end of the day that ruins people's ability to make tremendous amounts of wealth. Like you don't think black rock has to say in what goes on in Ukraine. They want the largest investors they want that opened up and if the Russians take it then they lose you know all the prep work they've done and they lose a massive business opportunity so it's in the interest of the organization as an organism to continue that. So I think that's one of the things that I think that's getting missed here is you know the external forces particularly from large corporations on the outside that are pressuring governments through lobbying through regulations I mean any number of things. And I don't think that we're out of the woods on that and all it would take really I mean if like just think about tomorrow what would happen if we drop the tactical nuker low yield nuke on Iran there would be worldwide condemnation and it would be very very easy or the government turn around declare a national save emergency which crushes dissent reinstates the draft and excuse me they would have some sort of justification for it that.

Enough people in this country would buy for them to implement you know the next phase of their plan and if you push back you probably get smacked by the state itself and that's something I think it's a very real threat on the horizon. It will also you know less than I'll say about twenty twenty you know they did they did martial law without ever declaring it yeah and I I believe that at toilet paper was a government government up. And I do and I'll tell you I and I say that because that scared a lot of women. Interesting and you scare enough women men will you know naturally right you don't have to scare everybody I don't believe somebody just it was at a store and I couldn't find toilet paper and somebody heard that and then it just spread nationwide where you couldn't find it anywhere yeah. So you know you scare people enough this time around the idea scare them with war. The you know if you don't have access to get gas or it's limited or and I don't know exactly how how they would do this but you just remove from the equation so you put you put the country in a state of martial law again without ever having to declare it.

And you don't need to send troops to people's doors because everything is on you know technology they can to thank you those suppress you on YouTube they don't have to cancel you really anymore they just you know throw you or X. So you know they have all these things that they were able to test out in twenty twenty they could just implement it again without even telling you and there's nothing that you can do about it. Yeah there's not and that's I mean it's you brought a good point where if anybody thinks that the censorship regime it was put in under last administration one away. I got some beachfront property in Arizona to sell you. Plenty of water there's plenty of water there too. Great waves to all the fish you can catch. Well springs. It's a nice. Yeah it's like that's the one consistent thing with people in power as once they get a tool they don't give it up. Never never here give me a hundred grand gym and I'll and I'll give you the address that property in Arizona and the keys are there right there right there in front of the door. All right I'll negotiate give me 50 grand and I'll give you the address. Okay what about 10 grand and a package of grand crackers. That's done sold we got it on video now it's a done deal. Yeah you know it well and the other thing I wondered before this conflict started I was like well and I was wrong.

I thought this they won't move forward they're on because in the midterms. I don't think they give a shit about the midterms and again I'll say all right so second now it's the last time a 2020 they didn't care in 2020 about the election you look back on that but but during that period you you thought Trump was being duped. They you know they they the coup was successful and you know they were clear to clear sides at least to me at that time but you can't say that anymore especially the way he's acting since he got back in office I mean he isn't arrested anybody hasn't done anything here you know he had big farm he met up with him a moral logo right right after the election he was with that and then they were all in the in the in the oval office shortly after Larry Ellsson for sure. So I don't think they care about the midterms. No they don't and that that really bothers me um existentially bothers me because once again we're one declaration from of emergency away after a bad decision from something like that being suspended or suppressed and I never thought I would take myself seriously saying something like that in this country but I don't think you're wrong and the lack of transparency in this administration is something once again I never thought I would see.

I mean I'm gonna tell you right now um if I was president and there were two assassinations at times on me everybody would know everybody would know we don't know Jack shit about what happened in Butler um we know even less about the guy who snuck onto the golf course in Florida and why is that like why is like why is the most bombastic self invested talk about me president in the history of this country so far. Consilot on these things and it just makes you wonder but then like what you're saying with the rest of his agenda on and his personnel and everything else like this is this is he is like I saw a statistic the other day there are two indices on this one was the degree of corruption in this administration and the percent of campaign promises that were fulfilled. I like most corrupt administration in American history by an absolute long shot not sending a link to it once I take it back up but then also the fewest amount of campaign promises that were fulfilled and I like the corruption thing is completely different discussion but when you take a look at the absolute lack of follow through on what he ran on I can't help but think that was just crowdsourced you know it's just he wanted to win for winning sake and at the end of the day.

It didn't matter what he was saying and it was it's almost you got almost exactly what he said Kamala Harris would be except probably worse and that's that's a hard pill for me smaller. What is your interest in the midterms? If they happen and you don't think they will I think they will but I think there's a greater chance than at any other point in our history where they don't it's going to be a blowout it's going to be an absolute total just blue wave coming through and if it's not then it's something there's something weird going on in the background because you can't have a president pulling it thirty. And all the independent polling coming out of all these different places like Texas showing Democrats way ahead and have anything other than that if everything is above board and things go the way they're supposed to in our system.

There are publicans will lose both the House and the Senate and I was talking to Robert Barnes a couple weeks ago or some of the projection models that he is run and some rich barris is run show upwards of it being a nine seat swing in the Senate and I think that's going to happen it should happen it should definitely happen and there's going to be I think a moment where everybody is really excited. About you know about cleaning house but then you know the back end of that is where the problems are going to start I think because you're going to have we already have a really horrendous situation in this country economically and internationally where you know it's where we're stuck in a war that's spinning us out of control in our domestic. And the entire focus is going to come off of fixing what's wrong with the country and go into investigations and kind of rightly so right I mean this is one of the more if not most corrupt administrations in the history of the country.

Once you have the blue Congress there there's going to be just investigation after investigation after investigation it's going to take up all their time there's not going to be much governance it's going to be about cleaning house probably until Trump leaves and I think there's a very high probability that he is actually impeached and removed from office in the process. On the one hand I think that's very good for our system it needs to happen we no longer have three co equal branches government the legislature is completely factless by their own doing which is a different conversation all to itself but in order for the system to be healthy you have to have them reclaim their position as a co equal branch and the only way to do that is to remove this guy from office so it needs to happen but. At this juncture with everything else going on I think that could be even more complicating for the actual citizenry in this country and I worry about it is the system south of the bull in your eyes I think it is it's it's it's we have the most resilience it's not the most it's not a perfect system it is the least shitty system on the face of the earth except for you know it's a shitty system but it's a shitty system except for every other system.

You know it's it's but we have you know a template there and the the levers inside the system for it to recover we've gone through bad times before and when it's actually working you just got to follow it and when it works it works out pretty well we have a very good republic and I I have a bunch of tweaks I'd make to it which I'll never get but at the same time like I think it'll it'll fix itself it's just it's a it's going to be kind of a long time one. Yeah you're much more optimistic you're not black pill man you're much more optimistic than I am. I got I got some optimism off set all the sentences. You're right I mean you're uh yeah I uh I wish I felt the way you did about that Jim I just what are your thoughts on it like I mean I I I don't think these I think these institutions are so corrupted to the core I think from every every where you go we're in a great we're living in a griftocracy every which direction every where you go. You know you get squeezed out for a little bit here a little bit there uh you know property taxes insurance health insurance homeowners insurance automobile insurance uh on and on and on and on and on I mean I went out to breakfast it was $17 for eggs bacon and home fries.

I'm it because I'm on the road yeah I would never pay that if I was home I mean I would I just wouldn't want to eat but you know $40,000 for a rap for yeah they're rap for I just be like what 17 18 like when prices were fair right 40 grand for a brand new on yeah so you know I I don't know I'm kind of you know I I don't I don't think these institutions are salvageable but I also don't know what I'm doing. I don't think I don't think things are imminently going to collapse either I mean they could um you know this whole idea of civil war that people there's some people that talk about don't want that well I don't I just I don't see it people can't run down the street Jim and you know what I hear the demographic the older people they're talking about civil war I mean I run every day I don't think I can run that far with an air 15 in my hand and here's the thing like with all that you know there's civil unrests happening I mean especially the cities it's happening all it happens all the time but what a civil I don't I just can't imagine what that would look it's not going to be red on which I love that movie by the way the original um yeah it's good um it's not going to be mad Max I mean it's not going to be like any movie because life is in real life is in a movie but you know what what people say revolution okay well who are you going to fight

I'm going to take your gun and do what like I'm going to go to downtown Phoenix and that what I parked my car I walk around then what am I going to do yeah I don't know I mean do I just don't see it like no I don't see it either um yeah in it but that's I mean that's one thing that like you see elements on the left hand it right being like yeah we need to clean house and it's like no dude you don't want that because most civil wars globally don't look like the one we had where there's a neat little line drawing the map everybody on that side is on one side everybody on that side is on the other ready aim fire ready we got uniforms marching around receiving ground yada yada yada most of them look kind of like the Balkans or I mean I was I was stuck in the middle of the Sunnisheas Civil War in Iraq in 2007 and it was you know I don't even know how we how it would like you're saying like how we would bubble up here because you had you have to have organization I mean you look at any revolution or any

Civil War the most organized side wins most of it's very disorganized but I don't see any organized factions other than the state here in the United States there in Iraq you had you know low it was highly localized you know you had like like all the local the local shea militia would like run over to the Sunnis out of town and kill as many men as they could find and do whatever to the kids in the women and whatever is usually pretty bad and then you'd have repyzel raids and back and forth and they would the objective I don't know if it was explicit but implicitly it was to move these people away into their own ethnic groups their own groups and they would consolidate the Russian Civil War once again very very spread out at least initially and it was along ideological lines but same kind of deal a little bit more kind of a traditional

seizing of terrain but going after other ideologies and I don't see the United States having that degree of organization it's too big though right Jim I mean it's such a big place communication breaks that down in a big way but but the one you know to be devil's advocate on my own point here when you have a violent revolution you only need about 10% of the population like the Bolsheviks were not a big segment of the population in Russia the Nazi party was not the majority party in Germany and that was multifaceted that was both political you know and through violence so yeah I don't know I'm hoping I'm hoping I'm right that it's not possible here and I'm along with you here's something else I was thinking about and I haven't shared this yet and be curious what you think you know wars are fought by you and you correct me on this part I'm not a veteran but wars are fought by young men right like that's not 60 roles that are fighting

right so you look at you know the threats out there that are speaking in media in particular Tucker Carlson you know nobody nobody's messed with him the people that were I mean the people that have been either arrested or killed Charlie Kirk what was Charlie Kirk killed for I mean I in my opinion his organization with turning point USA turning point USA is based in Phoenix where I live I used to see him ironically at the grocery store him and Steven Seagull and Rob Schneider I see all see this not together but I would see them all individually at the store same store and but you know turning point became this powerful organization with the young movement which was you know men and women but you know it was getting stronger and stronger and stronger and I heard you know we've all heard the theories on who that could have been that took him out I don't know I mean enough people that are talking about that there's could have been a collective group of people that wanted him gone but the other to other two people I was thinking about and I'm not fans of a more watch and more anything but the tape brothers those guys gone they're in jail and that clavicular just got arrested both of that but the tape brothers and clavicular young men I think love those love them.

It was a movement and they're no longer I mean my understanding is the tape brothers are more likely to probably never get out of jail and I'm not saying they're good guys I'm not endorsing them nothing but I just find it you know those guys for there are they were a threat and they're no longer relevant. I don't know do you see any connection there like they fear young people organizing. Thank you. I don't know if I actually see a connection I was joking about clavicular the other day I mean is that the wrong way to say clavicular I think it's clavicular. Yeah but I don't know like no guys in my age demographic was on a bunch of Botox and I'm watching walk into a bar with a bodyguard and like go up to a check and be like a clavicular and expect to get anywhere with a girl I just that's that's kind of top I don't understand it is a disconnect but yeah I mean you know it's a what is this is actually reminding me of something.

If you do if you control the minds of the youth you control the future I mean that may even just be out of a rage against the machine song but he controls the future controls the past controls the past controls the future. That's a great bad by the way. Oh yeah look at this guys but yeah it's a there's something to turning point and blue involvement into it. Do you hear that? And it's recent appearance on Tucker where you control the opinions of the folks coming up you control the future of politics in the United States and at a minimum it's very convenient. The Kirk is gone from that organization when you take a look at the direction it's headed it went from him questioning Israel did not being super pro Israel. Which is curious is going to you know put a marker there it's very curious I know who did it could be any like you said any number of interests and when you make your. Entire repertoire being effectively a provocateur you piss people off and at the end of the day like you're probably going to piss off somebody crazy who has access to a weapon and I don't know if that was the case but there is a trend over time.

And I do think though that you're right about strong youthful personalities wanting to be removed and I think that's more of a reflection on what the actual core ideology is in this country it's presented one way but it's not like you have you know the stereotypical rugged Americanism individualism the republic liberty all this stuff. But there is a consistent removal of strong individual rugged personalities from the top who have positions of influence for any number of reasons a lot of them are just ginned up and that is actually a fundamental part of Marxism and at least the cultural aspect of it and a there's a great case study on this if you go back to the way that the North Koreans. The Chinese ran their POW camps during the Korean War and what they would do is they would get everybody together and those who resisted in oct donation were isolated they were they were moved off in a different cells and they just continually refine this down removing basically the problems until they got this like vanilla acceptance of what they were saying from the group.

I think I saw a lot of COVID too the attempted assassination attempts on people's public character not actual like trigger point and there's a lot of that going on right now and it's actually one of the things that sticks in the back of my head and you know being an independent media is like at what point do you get too far out front of your skis and become a target. It makes me worry for a guy like Tucker Carlson or Joe Rogan and these people out there because they do control sway and if you get too far outside of the boundaries of what is considered acceptable like I don't think there's any doubt that someone's gonna come for you and try and do that. Does it make you wonder though because they're older maybe that they're letting them go versus like the young people and there and those young people again I'm not condoning them. I know I'm gonna probably some hate for this because I don't follow the tape brothers I don't you know or clavicular but it appears that the young man just really gravitated towards these guys and they are threatened by that whoever they is or ever I wanted to ask Glenn Greenwald that like I meant to say not that it matters the deep state but in your opinion who is the deep state like who are they.

That's a great question. I screwed that up I should ask that but I'm like man if I look like a moron and everyone's gonna see me and I think it goes beyond that. I mean like I mean I mean I why didn't I ask that question I think everybody in the room has their own generalized acceptance and assumption of you know of his point so it just like yours like oh yeah of course they're there and I mean like my brain goes it's the administrative state like and somebody else has probably got their own opinion but it would be great to clear it up so come on Mike next year I know I know I screwed that up but but you know but they they appear very threatened with any type of anybody that can you know organize it. And you know organize in massive numbers of the youth. Yeah you know what will Nick Fuentes be next. Myron Gaines, Nico. I don't know who else is out there but those guys can get young men organized. Yeah no I think there's probably there's probably more than one angle to this where like a like I know guys at the top are very careful.

They're well seasoned they understand the game. You know a guy like Tucker says he doesn't even have email he doesn't use computer except for work because he knows the risks associated with it and that's him being insularly hired as an personal security you know he's got a former I think a former delta guy running in security tell right now so he's like he's aware of the game itself but some but to your put more to your point. Like I think they want to try and get people in the bud before they get too big and influential because then like imagine imagine a scenario where they try to get rid of Joe Rogan tomorrow. He has such a following in a platform that it would be impossible it would probably in rage like they probably like him it probably peel off a third of the people who follow him but that that two third would become militant about him like this is you know this is absolute bullshit and you know would double and triple down. On their support forum on but you know guys like.

Fletes who I'm not a particularly a fan of you know it's a it was interesting to listen to his interview on Tucker because they approached him and tried to co opt him very early on he said no. And once again I don't think he has the best perspective on everything don't really agree with him but he may actually be outside the boundaries right now what they can control because he has such a huge following. But for the younger people absolutely they want to they want to nip these folks in the bud before they get too big you're either on the team or they try to find a way to get you off the field. But I don't know if tape and clavicular exactly that but I'm sure there's plenty of others out there who are right yeah I just I just you know I was thinking about the threats and like the people that have either you know been killed or they're just gone like in prison and I'm like I wonder if there's a you know it's some connection. These threats that they had to you know remove. Yeah and that's I mean they're coming after blue month all right now in a big way and they've been trying to get him for a while but like he is finally ascended into what I think is kind of his moment.

And you know like we we heard about there and also talking to him where like they nailed him at dull us were his constitutional rights were suspended and sees his devices and they're not done with him yet. You know and he's I thankfully using court fighting it but like who knows but they're going to throw it up next because he's so far outside out the gas. It was not that the the necessarily the following of the youth like the people you've described we've talked about here but he has a platform and he has the ability to credibly provide information that is counter to the narrative and I never thought I would live in a country where we had to worry about you know what you say. But you know it's just another weird thing is like. Your phone's listening to you like you know yeah everything like if they want like if they want to listen they want to interfere they want to do a different things all the instruments are in place and like you said they were tested a lot of this stuff was tested during COVID.

Edwards noted warned us about it more than a decade ago and I just don't understand why people aren't louder about it to be honest. Yeah yeah you know it and another person that was at that event who you know this maxes attorneys gene you as yeah and she's she's unbelievable you know she's obviously the attorney representing him but you know she was she was representing J about a shari and Martin cold or. During the lawsuit against the Biden administration back four years ago four plus years ago but yeah I mean. What's happening in this country right now in relation to all that I mean it just yeah. I don't know I don't know and where this goes. What do you think things are going to be at the last question where do you think things are going to be at the next six months. Hmm. Even the end of the year let's say the midterms come and go yeah they will have an election. Dems take over.

What do you think the state of the country will be. I think we're going to see a massive escalation in Iran of some kind we're going to do something tremendously stupid to put an exclamation point on this stupid thing we've already done. One of two things is going to happen either you're going to see a cleaning of the house pun intended it's going to be all blue and the senate or somehow despite all of the very obvious indicators from top to bottom that that is going to happen it's not going to happen. And you're going to see if the Republicans manage to hold on. You're going to see I think massive amounts of increased civil unrest from across the board because the desire for change within the direction we're going in this country is too strong on both sides of the aisle from the electorate at least. And it's going to be viewed as below board and it's going to be viewed as a you know there's there's going to be no repudiation of the direction of our country and it's not just the war in Iran it's the fact that gas is so expensive food is so expensive interest rates have just gone back up above seven percent and people see this.

And if they see no way out like through the traditional means they're going to start to get loud and that's you know that's something that I am going to brace for and I hope does not happen but that's just one avenue on the other hand like the escalation Iran is going to happen either which way if the the house in the senate term blue. Trump is going to try and put an exclamation point on what he's doing to try and resolve on his own terms and get us in a situation that is going to be increasingly more difficult to get out of and then come January when the legislature turns over we're going to roll into what I talked about before which is the investigations into him his family their financial dealings and then repeated attempts to. Impete not only him but probably just about anybody any appointment position within the administration.

Where can people find you Jim okay on that super super rosy note also the others will not win the world series this year but I'm hoping for Cleveland I mean I'm I'm I'm a I still call the Indians but there they lost last night they are I think they'll get in even if it's the last wild car spot but I'm hoping that they win the division and.
