I just wrapped the video call, uploading this giant file on my tablet, looking at my watch group and Nana's with the group chat, and of course still lining up tonight's playlist on my phone. All at once? Yep, story of my life. That's why I switched to T-Mobile. They have the fastest 5G network. Okay, multi-tasker. I see you. Honestly, I never imagined I could do all this at once. It's awesome. Say no more, I'm totally switching. My post is taking way too long to upload. That's a sign you've got to get T-Mobile. So many reasons to join T-Mobile. Find yours at T-Mobile.com. Welcome to the Genetim Show on Cleveland Star 102. It is Thursday morning. We're at September 10th at 607 Gen2.

A good morning to you. Good morning, Tim Richards. EMCs, our early morning crew. Good morning to you. Thank you for either waking up with us or heading home from work. Here the kiddos have sports. Here you're going on walks and listening to your audacity app. That was somebody else that said that I'm an EMC. And I do none of the things that you mentioned that an EMC might do. And I said I list about the say, I feel like it's like my graft and reference where I just mentioned the jail and that is it. And that's all I've done for how many years. Right. Until people call and say, hey, we've got some great restaurants and some other things and I appreciate that. And I feel like I do mention the same three things that might be the reason that you're awake at six or almost eight in the morning. The kid's just sports coming out from work. Go to work. Yeah, that's kind of the three that are pretty much had. So however you're listening, we certainly appreciate that coming up on the Gen in Tim show. Actually really, really soon it's going to be teachers week next week. So speaking of any teachers that are up early and get ready for school, we'd really like to for you to participate during rounds of Trump, too. We we're going to tell you how coming up at about six, 15. But let's start the show. He's dead.

He's a guy. He's dead. Just a dead guy in an envelope. Who is he? No one knows. He's dead. Just a dead guy in an envelope. I have new neighbors that moved in across the street from me. And I hadn't had a chance to meet them and I met them just a couple of days ago. And we're going back and forth and what's your name? And they're from they used to live in Charlton for 25 years. Just moved to Manor. You know, I told him we have the greatest street in America that you're you know, you have you've at least moved to a good street even if you're you know, questioning a move because they're downsizing their home. The reason that I mention that is then of course you start talking about and they're both retired and they're like, what do you do? I say it co-hosts the Gen in Tim show and they have it. They haven't listened to the show and they're unfamiliar with the show. So I told him, you know, what I do and they said, oh, we should listen. And then it it hits me that that could be the very first thing that they've ever heard us ever talk about.

And their neighbor is singing did guy in the envelope as they wake up early in the morning. Listen to their neighbor's radio show. Right. That's you know what what a first impression. It just hits you. What a first impression. I can't wait to hear what their reaction is. Did they know you eat cookies from strangers too? Well, they don't. But if they share I would have been able to tell them very lovely couple. Yeah, okay. Well, so if either of you were listening, I believe it's Kim and Don. Um, welcome. You have a guest for Decai. He's dead. He's the guy's name is in the envelope. The envelope's been in studio since I believe it's July 16th. This is when we kicked off this round producer's TV. Did pick the name, which EMC has today's guest. 216-343-1021. Your guest is in three minutes. Star 102. Good morning. Hi. Hey, teachers week. We're going to kick it off next week during Trump tour. We'll get to that in just a minute. But we would love your guest for Decai in the envelope. Hi, that one. Alan Rickman. I don't think Alan Rickman's in guest. It's not him.

That's like ever. Yeah, these rounds probably. Right. Definitely not this round. That's a great guest. We appreciate the guest. We appreciate you being EMC. So what are you doing this morning? Why are you awake so early? I got to work. Go to work. Okay. There we go. Well, thank you for being an EMC. We appreciate that. You're welcome. We have an idea. Why don't we kick off teachers week next week on Star 102. Cleveland's feel good. We want teachers to play Trump to e every day. We play the game at 735. And we're hoping that's a good time for you as a teacher. You're not teaching yet quite yet. So yeah, we're looking for teachers who want to play around if Trump to e try to win that limited edition t-shirt. Try to get invited in for redemption week. And we want to do that next week. And we are creating a graphic. So if you have not filed us if you would like in, that would be it would be amazing. Because we'll start booking people obviously and launch that on Monday. So it's Jen and Tim show and also star 102 and all the socials. It just shoot us a DM. What I would like to have is, and nobody will see this, but if let's just say obviously it's your name,

and we'll put all this on a graphic, it's going to make it easier as you're in your school. And I would love to know your subject because then I will just ask you all science questions. That's you can. That feels unfair. That feels unfair. That feels unfair. Whatever it is, please let me know directly. Tim Richards. Why would I? Lives in manner. Find me personally. I don't care. Say, by the way, Nudge Nudge, I, my, my algebra is my strong. This is definitely going to happen. This is definitely going to happen. Someone's going to tell you they're strong, Sue, and you are going to ask those kinds of questions. I'm not sure this is a louder not. So I'm going to ask it's star 102. Clevans feel good favorites knowing you and with that type of preface, I feel like it's probably not. So we got a DM from Carla. We always appreciate Jen and Tim show Facebook, Jen and Tim show Instagram star 102 on both. Carla, I'm a kinder teacher. I listen to you every day. I would love the opportunity to play Trump till we were talked about it a few minutes ago that we want to launch teachers week next week. Shoot us at DM so that I just reply because I appreciate that. I said, what are your strong subjects?

You can't do that. Tim, you can't do that. If Carla's in, I can just maybe just gently lean one way or the other. It's tea. You know how much teachers do? A lot. We are letting them get settled in. Not that they're getting settled in. But you know, you're getting through Labor Day. We can. You're meeting the kiddos. Maybe you're in a new school. You definitely have new kids this year. You had like the list goes on and on. So I want I've been wanting to do teachers week for a few weeks. But I want it like the dust to settle a little bit for the new school year. Right. Which hopefully some dust is settled a little bit. You're getting back into the routine. So basically if you get in for this, Tim is going to sway the game toward you if you tell him what you teach. I'm going to try real hard. We're not there yet. But looking ahead to teachers week on star 102 Clevens. Feel good favorites. We will like kick that off on Monday. Emily, just send us a message to Facebook. You can always do that. Jen and Tim show just search us. Good morning. I just heard that next week is teachers week and that you'd love teachers to play Trump to eat. Nearly all teachers, including myself are in school already when you play. What? She says would you consider playing the first round of the day in the six AM hour next week? So teachers really could have a chance to play. Can you just leave the kids and then?

It's pretty solid. It is pretty solid. We've had people get it. I'm kidding, Emily. I'm kidding. Yeah. Well, I knew 830 game for sure. Two hours. I knew it was out. We've done this before and we did have success at 730. But if that does become an issue, that's a great point. Yeah. Certainly something to consider. I mean, we've never played it that early. Yeah, and I would have. It's a rules thing. I have to see if we actually can't. Like, you know me, I will. I'll play the game at 630. That's the first time I think I ever heard you mention rules. I'll just because they're just very prominent of late for another idea I had. That's fair. There's always rules. See, years ago, go ahead and sit down. We're going to talk. Years ago, I knew whatever I wanted. Thank you. Still kind to do. I still kind of do. I'd rather do it. You know what? Forget it. If it works better than I'm going to do it, I'm not going to ask. What are you going to do? Gem, you really should ask first. I have a slow those emails. I think we see how next week goes if we can get enough contestants. And then that is a great suggestion.

That's a great suggestion. And obviously the teachers are in the classroom. Wait, you're earlier with them, the kids. So we'll have to consider that for the next time. Maybe we could update the rules. Yeah, that would be. That's a good. That's a great idea. We always appreciate it. Thank you very much for the DM and we'll see if it works. Apple has unveiled its first foldable iPhone. Get one? It's all over my four-u page. Do you want one? I don't until I see it and then I do. Well, it makes me nervous like I would drop it or break it. All at once? Yep, story of my life. That's why I switched to T-Mobile. They have the fastest 5G network. Okay, multitasker. I see you. Honestly, I never imagined I could do all this at once. Fastest based on analysis by Uglospeed Distant Intelligence data of national speed score results in incorporating 5G download and upload speeds for the first half of 2026. It's 68 degrees in Columbia Station, our star city. These are the three things you need to know today. Apple's first foldable iPhone called the iPhone Duo. Starts at $1,999 pre-orders begin October 16th and then they arrive October 23rd. Why do I feel like you're going to do this? You can dress up as the good, your blimp, this Halloween. Wow, fat reference. No. Is that a fat Tim reference? Tim would be a great blimp. You grew up in Akron now. That is so...

Anybody else here, this? Any other EMC? That was not a fat reference. Literally, just said that was not. That was filled with helium and food. I did. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. If we were on the air years and years ago, it would have been hydrogen and food. But that's flammable. Gen two-y with a Tim reference. It's way too high for me to hear all my coffee and I have to defend myself with my thickness. You always talk about border-raised in Akron. It's the good new blimp. Remember when somebody thought they saw the Franklin? Oh my god. At tavern six and he said that I was tall and slender and you fell out of the chair labo because of the slender forage of the program. You have... You have. Okay, yeah. What else do you want me to grit the thick Richards? What else do you want me to grit dress up as? You have a very pumpkin story. I mean, you would. You would do good with that. I'm almost like eight pounds over two weeks. Trying to get my slender bat jet. All. Very sensitive. Saying you're fat in any way. I would you ever do that? You would be a great blimp. Isn't really in dear Gen two-y.

I think you would like this because it is Akron-related. Was your dad work there? Casson retired there with care forever. Thirty plus years. You have so much connection. It would be me being fat in a blimp. I didn't say you were fat. Okay. Anyway, about the story that I should dress up as. You love spirit Halloween. You love Akron. But you're the whole thing. Your dad worked there. Anyway, there's a... There's a costume. It's $7,999 if you want to be the blimp. It'll be available at spirit Halloween. Downtown Cleveland's Barbell Room is one and online competition. I didn't call you fat. You like to go there, Tim. I bet you would. Best stay-cows in the country. Who would you... You believe I've never been there? I've just talked into a blood. Have you even walked in before? I have. Why walked in when they first opened it? Beautiful. I believe beautiful. So nice. And, um... Yeah, I just... I don't know. I just... I'm surprised. Yeah, I've been there. Exactly. I'm gonna wait for the buffet. Maybe that's... They don't have a buffet. My blimp body.

Hey, blimp boy! I did not say you have a blimp body. I said I have a blimp body. You said when you get to the Halle building, we have to tether you down so you can come in. That's exactly what you just said. That's what you inferred. By calling me, that I should dress up as a blimp. It was so false and very funny. Star 102, Cleveland's Feel Good Favorites. Good morning to you. It's the Jennit Tim Show. Come on up next. We have Stevie on the socials. If there's ever a song that sounds like another song, TikTok is all over it. Like, I feel like every song's a copy of another song always. And I don't always agree, but sometimes it happens five times. And it feels... Five times the song is copied? Like, five different. Wow. There's that people have found. And then that starts to feel like, huh? Where do these songs come from? Yikes. Like, five by the same person? No, all the songs. Oh, just in the different songs. Okay. It's the same artist. One artist is copying five different songs. Yes. Yeah. On the album. One album. Yeah. And there's probably more out there because I feel like every little toenay here. But some of them are a little shocking

because they sound the same to me. Yeah. We gotta definitely dive into this. Stevie on the socials, three minutes away. The Chinatemp Show on Star 102. So what do you know about the chicks? Blake Shelton, the greatest showman and the song Teenage Your Beggar, having common? Well, they're all being cute. Well, still a lefty is being accused of stealing these songs. She's like, it up and coming artists. You might know her from this song. I like that song a lot. Me too. Do you like it? It's very catchy. Yeah. You can sing along to it. It's a good song. And I feel like when songs are catchy, like that, they have a beat. Everyone starts noticing it sounds like every other song. And in my opinion, there's just so many notes that you can do in a song. So I never really hear it. Like at the background notes, it gets really hard for me. Even this one, they're comparing it to Noah Conn's stick season so much so that now he's credited on this song. So here's Boston again.

And then this is going to be stick season. It's to season of the sticks and now. Oh my gosh. Like it's there. But it's there. I never noticed it before. Nor would I come up with it in my own brain, but hearing it next to each other, I'm like, oh, that melody is awfully close. Yeah, and so they credited in whatever no big deal. No one's mad. She's a big fan of him. So I think like he's kind of her inspo. They're both kind of that similar style, like a little country, a little folky vibe. So then people are still going after her. She's been called Stella Thephty, which I think is. Oh, I didn't see that. I saw this drink. That is great. Never mind. I was going to say that. It's going to stick. Correct. So then people were saying that the song, so teenage dirt bag sounds like her song, some are you or mine. They were saying that the chicks, there's your trouble, is compared to one of her songs. And then we have Blake Shelton. So it's called her songs. Why wouldn't we compare it to Blake Shelton's? I'll name the dogs.

You. Oh, I'll hear you live. I have not hear that it's like a little time. Sorry to laugh leggantly close. I did not know I was a lot in country music. I don't know. I mean, it does sound very similar, I agree. But the one that really got me, it's even worse than that, like, not in shockwave. Is there something worse than that? This one was more shocking, and I think it's because, like, okay, that's country music. This song is like own genre, and it's like from a movie, it's a musical, it's a... Yeah, this is, like you said, this is probably the most shocking, and we should get to it next. Like, you think it is bad so far in that Blake show, how are you gonna get? Yeah, it sounds the same. Yeah, it's the same. You think those sound the same? You just wait in three minutes. Stella Thepty, is that what you said?

Oh my God. That's what the internet's calling for her. That's great. It's a star one or two for the two for her. It's already sounding pretty bad, but what is the worst one that we're gonna get to before we get to three things? So for me, the worst one was people comparing her new song that's called Misery to a million dreams from the greatest showmen, and I feel like that song people know it. It's like from a movie, a musical, and I heard it, and I was actually shocked, I thought it was fake. Like, I thought it was AI or something, like, okay, it's a fake song, and it obviously sounds the same. No, it's real, and here's how it sounds like. It's a story of a thing, story of a misery. Misery, she loves the way she loves. Because every night I bet the brightest colors feel mine. Yeah, we don't hear it. A billion dreams. That's the same song. That's... And it's like an equate. She played both. She played, yes. Oh my God, I thought that was all the same song. No, she beat magic so well. Here, listen one more time. This is the first part. Oh my gosh, I was like, I'm like, aren't you gonna play the greatest showmen one? I would... Oh, wait, oh my gosh, do that again.

And here we go. You sound like a second verse of that song. It does. What's crazy is like, she even is sounding like this voice. Yeah. And the songs have that like pop country twang. And this one suddenly, it just sounds like... That's... I don't understand how that makes it to publishing without like someone flagging that. Like how does that get released? I don't know. Well, I hope they're getting credited now. Because... My goodness. Yeah, that's a great Stevie on the socials. What should we talk about? Oh, I know. Oh my goodness. How's this even happening? First of all, I still love this, the electric side. Oh my gosh. What we're talking about. Oh my goodness. Hate. Hate what we're talking about. Oh, those electric bills are getting them? Oh, I'm very well aware. I think I might have gotten a deal this month. That not a chance.

I think I was able to scan the system and got a deal this month from them. I thought I couldn't even believe it. I thought to myself, this is a great deal for the power of the home. How did you scan the system? I am not a scammer, but I'll tell you what. The rate of these electric bills, tell me how. It is. I will tell you. And I hope that you're sitting down. I will tell you because I just received my electric bill yesterday. The cost to power apparently the home. This is... Oh my. Or maybe it's the price of a compound, the price it was. That's next. This is a deal of you're sitting down. At Star 102, Cleveland's feel good favorites. Talking about the electric bill. It's gonna be tough to beat. I feel like there's no way you got a deal on your electric bill. It's gonna be tough to beat. I have never ever seen something so expensive in my life. $364. Oh, you did get a deal. You know what? It's sad. That is a deal. I mean, that's a deal. I couldn't believe it. I opened it by email. I said, you know what? Because it's on auto pay. So of course, I'm paying attention to what I'm looking at. And I think, let me look at this thing. Let me take a look at it because I want to know what this is.

And of course, I look at it every month to think to myself. $364 for the electric bill. I can't even believe that's the price. Mine was around that price for quite a few months. And I, I mean, it's sticker shock, right? Because it, when was it? Within the past year, at some point, all of our electric bills went up that high. And it's ridiculous. It was never over $300. And now it always is. Well, then, then August came along. And I don't think you could even, if I asked you to venture a gas on my electric bill, I want to do that. I don't even know that you'd come close. I couldn't even believe the amount of this electric bill. And based on my electric bill, you did get it. Yeah. All right. So mine's $364. Which once again, I'm not even a person that, oh, let me keep this. It's 71 degrees in the house. Oh, let me, I don't, I mean, my wife doesn't, is a freeze baby.

She doesn't want it very cold. If it's like, you know, like nights like this, I probably even this morning is my daughter's getting ready for the bus. She probably has the windows open. I mean, it's not as if this thing's always running. Like, yes, the windows are older and those type of things. There's other things that I could do to, I guess, leave some money. But I'm not going to spend tens of thousands of dollars on windows. I think, I think in all seriousness, I think to myself, did I opt into two? Yes. Energy companies, and I'm paying that because it never was that. I'm like, oh, I must have missed a bill. I must have somehow not paid last month, and this is two months bills combined. It's not, are you going to reveal yours next? Or is that what you would do? I'm not even kidding you. You will gasp aloud. It is insane the amount of this. Like that. I get this. Just start reading books, audio books. You start talking like the author writes. It's great. I can't believe it. I chuckled aloud. I ventured down the past. This is the whole new gen. She's talking in book slang. I talk in book. All right. How about you, Pat? Next.

The safe space here. It's Jenny Timchow and Star 102. Cleveland's feel good. Favorite. We're talking electric bill. I admitted my was $364. I just happened to look at it. One of the first things I did this morning, because I had the alert, and I looked and said, oh. Oh. Did I opt into two things? I mean, it's been going on all obviously, you know, all summer. If not longer. I'm afraid for you. Do you want to gas? Do you want to just, you know, you, it was a hand slapper, and you said that I got a deal at $364. So I'm going to guess a straight $400. No. Low. My bill. That's low. $400 is low. My bill was $668.52. $668.52. I was like, this is a car payment. I feel like I could butt it. This is the craziest thing. I don't know. What is happening? I don't know. Have the two-way house. Do you have that? Is that snowing in your house?

No. And I mean, like our air conditioning too, I, I mean, we keep it cool, but it's always set at 72 degrees. All right. I don't know what we're doing in the house. So I've been like crazy person shutting off every light ever when I go around the house. We'll see how, you know, what my next bill looks like. But I thought I'm like, I must have skipped a bill. I love that you're turning my life. I am. I'm like, turn that light off. Why is that light on? I have a tenor, yeah. Yeah. You need to like itemize it. Like this is how much you did this, you know, your lights. And this was your air conditioning. And this was, I know, 600. In a pool, you have a pool. I have a pool. I'm just trying to think of other things. So do I. I've had a pool for several years. And my electric pill has never been $668.52. $668. I thought that is. Branks was bad. He said that he has, he had a $560 bill left. It's vomittess. I mean, how 300 was bad? The first time it was 300. This is absolute insanity.

Anybody else, you can DM us or give us a call. 216-343-102. Are you even in the realm of the, I don't know, am I with 360 for, I did get a deal. Brank. Said his was 560, yours was $668. I know we have other calls that we have to get to. And also maybe something that will help us out of legit. I don't say solution, but maybe a chance at a price break in three minutes, star 102. Good morning. Good morning. You're talking about the electric bill. $364 for my electric bill. Was yours even in the area of that? It was $100 last, I'm sorry, Tim. $100 last. Can I move in with you? You absolutely, there's a fourth bedroom. $100 last. What is your hack? Yeah. How is that the case? Is your AC not on? I really would love to know because I can't believe how high this is. You have to pay it. I mean, what am I going to do? What? Right. Exactly. No, our AC usually is somewhere around $69 or $70. And we have just shy of $3,000 per seat. So it's not, you know, it's not terribly small,

but it's also not too long. What are you live? This is amazing. We move in. I live in, I live in own sit falls. I go to apples to apples and I'm always looking at the rates and making adjustments when necessary. I always have like fixed rates and checking to make sure that I'm getting the best deal. I do that probably every three to six months. Thanks for listening to the Jen and Tim Show podcast. Listen to new episodes daily on your Odyssey app. Newshoes, new clothes, brand new grade. I just wrapped a video call, uploading this giant file on my tablet, looking at my watch group and Nana's with the group chat, and of course, still lining up tonight's playlist on my phone. All at once? Yep, story of my life. That's why I switched to T-Mobile. They have the fastest 5G network. Okay, multitasker. I see you. Honestly, I never imagined I could do all this at once. One of the biggest things I see, most women are not getting enough fiber, especially the right kinds of fiber, and they don't even realize it. That's why I like using cronometer.

It makes it incredibly easy to actually see what you're eating and understand your nutrition on a deeper level. I especially appreciate that it tracks both soluble and insoluble fiber, because they each play different roles in overall wellness, digestion, and metabolic health. What sets cronometer apart for me is the accuracy and detail. A lot of tracking apps only focus on calories, but cronometer gives you meaningful micronutrient data I can actually use. The platform is easy to use, reliable, and helps you make more informed nutrition choices without guesswork. If you want better insight into your nutrition during midlife and beyond, download cronometer for free today at cronometer.com and start learning what your body may really need.
