Jenny McCarthy on Reversing Autism, Healing Mold Toxicity, and the Biohacking Protocol Big Pharma Doesn't Want You to Know

Back with another long one! Autism, mold poisoning, and cognitive decline share more root causes than most doctors admit, and this episode hands you the biohacking playbook to reverse all three.

Host Dave Asprey sits down with Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, a New York Times bestselling author, actress, comedian, and 14-season judge on The Masked Singer who became one of the most trusted voices in the autism community after her son's regression following a vaccine reaction. She documented his recovery in books including Louder Than Words and Healing and Preventing Autism, founded the vegan, cruelty-free beauty brand Formless Beauty, and now develops unscripted television, documentaries, and podcasts with her husband Donnie Wahlberg through their Work Baby Productions banner under a first look deal with Lionsgate.

Dave and Jenny trace her son's autism diagnosis back to a vaccine reaction and walk through the biohacking protocol that helped him recover, including candida detox, activated charcoal binders, collagen and hypermobility support, and hacking his gut with a low toxin diet that removed wheat and dairy. They connect autism to mitochondria energy collapse and neuroinflammation, and explain how nootropics like modafinil restore focus without the crash of stimulants.

The conversation moves into longevity and human performance strategies for adults, covering low dose Cialis for brain blood flow, DHEA and thyroid optimization for women over 35, peptide protocols including melanotan and Retatrutide, cyclical ketosis and fasting alternatives, and why hormone replacement therapy reverses aging instead of causing cancer.

They dig into functional medicine tools for everyday life: electrolytes and salt for blood pressure and sleep optimization, blackout darkness for circadian repair, baking soda for metabolism and alkaline balance, and why Jenny trusts krill oil over fish oil for anti-aging support. Dave breaks down ibogaine and neuroplasticity for brain repair, defends his carnivore leaning diet, shares why Danger Coffee still starts his morning, and calls out AI chatbots for pushing censored health narratives.

This is essential listening for anyone interested in biohacking, human performance, longevity, functional medicine, brain optimization, and building a smarter, not harder approach to supplements and long-term health.

You'll Learn:

I was in the grocery store and I was in line and I saw a magazine cover. It was the cover of time. And just in the corner it said, mothers are saying that they're noticing regression into autism after the MMR shot. My son was due for the MMR the following weeks. So when I went to the doctor's appointment, I said, listen, I'm very concerned. I have a gut feeling. My son's not going to be able to handle the shot. He was so dismissive. He was so rude. He literally said, we don't be one of those mothers. And not too far after that, my son had a seizure and went into cardiac arrest. Soon he lost all of his language right after that. And then he got an autism diagnosis and I was like, oh, hell no. They told me he's going to have to be institutionalized someday. They might not ever speak. And I went online and I found an organization that said, autism is reversible. And I was like, what? Take out the **** and then **** right turn into morphine and their guts. In two weeks, he said like two words after remove **** after two to three years of doing

this, this date comes over to reevaluate you for services. They he know long or qualified. You're listening to the human upgrade with Dave Asprey. How many nights have you stared at the ceiling counting the hours until morning? Maybe you tried a sleep supplement, but it knocked you out and left you groggy. Like you traded one problem for another, poor sleep doesn't just make you tired. It kills your performance, slows your brain down and speeds up aging. Kill switch from switch supplements solves that problem. It works with your biology instead of against it. It contains five gut friendly, extensively researched ingredients like GABA, magnesium glycinate and tart cherry extract to help you fall asleep naturally, stay asleep and wake up clear. And it's in the form of a delicious, sugar-free, no BS hot cocoa drink. Sleep tracking data proves how well it works. People consistently hit 90-plus sleep scores and more than double their REM sleep in only

three days with Kill Switch. If you're ready for the best sleep of your life, order now at SWITCHSupplements.com and use code Dave for 20% off. If you don't sleep better, you get your money back. Kill Switch works with your biology. Your body does the rest. Modaphinal is one of my favorite cognitive enhancers forever and I've been taking it for more than 20 years, which is why this episode is brought to you by MOT. MOT prescribes a once or twice daily, Modaphinal drink that can keep you energized, focused, and alert throughout the day in a way you won't even believe. For the science nerds, here's how Modaphinal works in my brain and probably yours. It's a wakefulness drug, not a stimulant that works on several systems in your brain. It activates something called OREXIN, which is your brain chemical that helps to keep you awake, that isn't stimulant. Modaphinal also increases dopamine, which is going to help you be motivated and focus, and it affects histamine and neuropanephyrend, which can help to keep you alert. Scientists figure this out in the 1970s when they developed Modaphinal, and some of the

highest performers on the planet, like me, have been using it since well about them. I only made it through Wharton Business School because I was taking Modaphinal. To find soldiers, pilots, astronauts, even big figures in the government who are in high state situations who use Modaphinal because it actually works in many clinical trials. I've been talking about and using Modaphinal for years, I broke the news about it on National News more than 15 years ago. And it's now available at mod.com to qualify in patients. Visit mod.com for a consultation, and you get 10% off your first order plus free shipping with promo code day. This is my favorite pharmaceutical performance dancer on the planet. If it's appropriate for you, the doctor is at mod.com can help you get it. It's either website for important safety information, and thanks mod for sponsoring the podcast. This episode of the human upgrade is with none other than Jenny McCarthy, who is an actress, comedian, and judge on the master singer for 14 years. Yeah. And you could say, Dave, why are you interviewing one of these celebrities? What do they know?

That's what I usually say about celebrities too. But this is really interesting because we're going to talk about autism. And we're going to talk about brain function. And yeah, we'll touch on some celebrity topics about how do you survive in a studio, in just the lifestyle and the things that you do to make your brain work. But this is really about autism, autism awareness, genetics, the mother of an autistic son who's doing well. So let's go deep on this. And for context, I guess if you are new to the show, I used to have autism. And I don't meet the clinical criteria anymore, but I still don't have a normal brain. And we'll talk about that too. Jenny, welcome. I'm so excited to be here. Thank you. And thank you for making a trip to Austin for this to work. How did it feel when your name became a part of the vaccine autism discussion? You know, I had a feeling it was going to happen because of my big giant mouth and being brave enough to speak out and out about it.

You know, if I can take you back to what happened, I would love to, if you don't mind me talking about story. Let me take you back to the, in the grocery store. I was in the grocery store and I was in line and I saw a magazine cover. It was the cover of time. And just in the corner, it said, mothers are saying that they're noticing regression into autism after the MMR shot. My son was due for the MMR the following week. So I just, I believe in science, I believe in destiny. And I got hit in the stomach when I felt that there was a mother's instinct below. I was like, look, it was like, so when I went to the doctor's appointment, I said, listen, I'm very concerned. I have a gut feeling. My son's not going to be able to handle the shot. He was so dismissive. He was so rude. He literally said, we don't be one of those mothers. Did you kick him in the balls? I wish I did. I wish I could turn the balls and I just said, I go, I've listened with all of my might, please, please, please do not do this. They make you sign like a waiver, so to speak before that MMR shot.

I refused to sign it. My husband at the time, though, was with me. And he said, I'm signing it. You can leave the room. I left the room, ball in my eye. I got to kick him in the balls. Now he's kicking himself in the balls. This is a skill that you need to develop, Jamie. I'm pretty good at it. I'm not even good at it. I will say, Dave. And not too far after that, my son had a seizure and went into cardiac arrest. Oh my God. So it wasn't just a... How old was he? He was two and a half or two around that time. He was around two. And it was obviously, you can only imagine from mother to watch your child go into a seizure and stop breathing, turn blue, waiting for the paramedics to come in, watching them do CPR. They revived him. On the way to hospital, we lost him again. This happened one other time where they almost airlifted him, but we put him in a funeral barbo tell coma. I mean, he was really hit by this shot.

So... Hold on a second. That's impossible because the shots only helped. So it must have been past life sins. What was the excuse that doctors made up for you? Exactly. Two-year-old karma. You know? So it was... It was so devastating. It was my lowest time of my life because I didn't know how to fix my boy. And he was soon, he lost all of his language right after that. And then he got an autism diagnosis and I was like, oh, hail now. They told me he's going to have to be institutionalized someday. They might not ever speak. He won't be able to make friends. He'll never have a job. All of these things. And I remember going home and I cried and I mourned, but I'm not one of those people to sit on the sidelines. I'm a... I'm going to figure out how to do it. Kind of a person. And I went online and I found an organization that said autism is reversible. And I was like, what? It's organization, wasn't it? It was a generation rescue who I wound up taking over. And I was like, this is a bunch of snake oil BS.

And I was like, why don't I dig further? And when I dug further, I found it was doctors and scientists on the down low because they didn't really have a big platform yet. And I said, hey, we have been helping children by doing all these kind of treatments that are helping these kids feel better. And by making them feel better, they were getting better. Yes. And so that's when I immediately went on the pathway of healing. Ah, well, you're sounds lucky that you're as smart. Thank you. I'm lucky that to have... Well, I'm lucky to have him because he is a lily lily, a living angel. He is such a beautiful little soul. But the amazing thing was, in the beginning, the things that they were telling me to do weren't crazy. It was change the diet. I was like, it's amazing, but not just the kids taking out the wheat and the dairy. Right. They turned into morphine in their guts. That's right. And magically they stopped acting like they're an opium a lot of the time. That's exactly right. Who would have thought? They weren't stoned during ABA therapy.

And now they were able, he was able to figure out how to do certain things. Like in two weeks, he said like two words after removing wheat and dairy. And I was like, oh my gosh. And then I started looking at the inside, the mitochondrial, the supplements, what he was lacking, the minerals by supplementing by detoxing. I have to tell you, Dave, when I started detoxing Candida out of his body, and I'm not one that does anything patiently. They're like, you know, you're supposed to go slow. So they don't have a big reaction. I didn't go slow. I'm like, this poor kid. I'm like, I want to see it now. And he was dumping. I mean, he was with catatonic for a minute, because the amount of yeast it was coming out. The more Candida that was coming out of his body, the lights were coming on. The lights were coming out. He was looking at me. He was talking to me. He was hugging me. He was coming. He was smiling. And for listeners, Candida is a yeast. And it just so happens that when you get the one of the M's and MMR, the measles vaccine,

certain genetics, it disables the body's natural ability to fight Candida, which is a yeast that makes all sorts of neurotoxins. So the kids who get this infection and then eat wheat and sugar get a yeast infection systemically, the same one I had. And then it messes them up, metabolically, mentally, hormonally, all the things. This isn't the only cause of autism. It's just a major contributing cause. So you figure this out pretty early and getting rid of Candida can be really nasty because you feel like crap and now we know ways to do it. Yes. It was. And then, you know, it was just one thing. And then of course, I was kind of in the beginning. There wasn't anyone public that came out yet. So I literally had a conversation with God and said, if you help me heal my boy, I'll teach the world how I did it. I don't care how many people come after me, just show me the way, show me the way God, show me the way. And I was kept leading into doctors and great human beings, kind of like yourself that

were doing the work. And I did it. I remember thinking, okay, I'm not going to do anything that's going to put him at harm, but I did put him in hyperbaric chambers. I did do IV treatments. We did, you know, low dose, everything you could possibly imagine. I did on my son teaching people that, you know, sometimes it worked for your son, or daughter and sometimes it can't. But then once I got him to a place and I'll tell you, after two to three years of doing this, the state comes over to reevaluate you for services. Yep. The he no longer qualify. Exactly. You know, so what you guys said, it's crazy. But in the crazy thing is I remember saying autism is reversible and the amount of crap, Dan. People get so mad when you say that. I mean, I freaking did it, guys. Like you can tell me I'm impossible. But you also said that it also important, which is your brain still might have some hiccups. And not hiccups. My brain has superpowers. Yeah. Right. Autism comes with gifts. It also comes with health.

Shit. Correct. And while my son is doing amazing, he's 24 now. He's his own YouTube channel gaming underscore USA. He makes me plug it if I'm going to talk about him. But you know, he still has word processing problems. Unfortunately, which we'll talk about later is that we both have mold, which for kids on the spectrum or younger to human beings in general. But can you imagine you can if you on the spectrum and mold is I had massive mold. I did a whole documentary on mold because it's such a problem. And here's what they don't talk about with autism. 80% of people who have autism also have hypermobility or Ellers downloads syndrome. Yeah. Does he have that? He is hypermobility. There you go. So hypermobility means that your body does make collagen right? Guys, I made collagen a billion dollar industry for a reason because my body does make collagen right and I had to learn how to fix it. This means that your gut doesn't form the right collagen layer. And that means toxins leaked through the gut more easily. That means that the lining of the brain, the blood brain barrier isn't made right.

The holes in there are too big. So the toxins that leak out of the gut get into the brain. And that means that people on the spectrum are more sensitive to mold toxins and gut bacteria toxins. And this is a major part of why you get brain inflammation from it. Why do I know all this? I actively manage all of that crap in my own biology so I don't have autism. You know what I noticed with him too? Is like, because he was doing great and all of a sudden OCD takes like an intrusive thought. He's like, Mom, I'm getting all these intrusive. I'm so glad he can communicate this with me. He's like, I have these intrusive thoughts telling me like, Oh, you're so terrible. And low, and he's like, and I'm having some OCD issues. And I'm like, Oh my gosh, it's mold. It's mold. Now, when you just spoke of something, I haven't heard this yet about the collagen part. And someone do on this spectrum, what can moms do to help their kids increase collagen? About 20 grams of collagen protein, just collagen protein, but not more than that. Because too much collagen will flip over and do oxalate. And most people with autism also have problems with oxalate. So it's a balance.

And Candida raises oxalate forms microscopic crystals inside the brain and ever old son the body too. So you got to eat a lower oxalate diet as well. Right. Pharmaceutical called lerozotide that increases the thickness of your gut barrier. I would highly look at that for people on the spectrum. Now, what about this is way off. And it could be, by the way, it could be totally off on this, but doesn't GHKCU also increase collagen? Is that something that it does increase collagen? But I don't have any evidence that it increases collagen in the gut or the brain barrier, but I might. Got it. Okay. We just don't really know for that one. The C157 would be more likely because it's a gastrokeling peptide. Right. So taking that orally where it belongs, it actually works. And it helps with the gut even in things like Crohn's. Oh, really? Oh, yeah. Okay. Well, that's interesting. Well, you know, when I was on this path, then I decided my first time out talking about autism was on Oprah. Oprah asked me to come on the show.

And she asked me, she said, you have to come on live because they're going to wind up pulling the episode because, you know, back then even before I hated you talking about that. Hey, I mean, people told me I was on lists. I was on the list like, congratulations. I know. And I was like, oh, no. But when I did Oprah, we didn't, we went live in the amount the outpouring of people saying, thank you. I'm not crazy. Thank you. I'm not crazy because all of these parents saw a reaction. All of these parents saw a regression. This is what they'd always say. My child was fine, totally speaking. And then there was a regression. Now, my two, can you get autism without a vaccine injury? Yes. Of course. Of course. But there is, I mean, if I could relabel it vaccine injury for this subgroup, I would. Oh, what do you mean if you could? You just did. Yeah. You're right. Thank you. Thank you. But it's true. And then the amount of backlash that happened. And I had a person come over to my agents, my maturity and say, listen, I was hired by a three

letter agency to create a campaign about you. Wow. And I was like, what are you talking about? What kind of campaign? Because I just don't owe for a six months prior. Yeah. Coming out. And I was getting all this kind of support. And all this is the first negative thing I heard. And he said, I'm hired. I have a very huge PR agency. I work with so on and so on and so on. So which I won't name to out the guy. But he said, I turned down the job. But I'm letting you know they're going to approach another agency to come after you and claim you as the anti-vaxxer as an anti-vaxxer. That was fun. That was the first time I heard that term. And it was the first person to get it. And I said, well, they're not good. That's not going to stick because everywhere I go, I've said, I'm not against vaccines. We need to figure this out. Some kids can take penicillin, some kids can't, some kids can take vaccines, some kids can't. So I clearly always stated I wasn't totally against them. And he says, it doesn't matter. They're going to come after you. They're not allowed. Oh, with everything they got. And I was like, well, thank you for the warning. But I just didn't believe him.

Whoa. There was an article on Time Magazine with the title, the most dangerous woman in America. Me. Hopefully you framed that, right? It's framed in my basement. Absolutely. But the most dangerous, I'm like, this mom who's trying to make her kid better, who's sharing what other moms are going through gets the title of the most dangerous woman in America. It feels like the same people who were doing that are the people who told you to wear a mask even though it didn't work. That sounds about right. It does. It's like it's like this club of stupid mean people. Completely. Yeah. But the thing was, it was so effective that's my army, a guru of people who also got that name, you know, from Bobby Kennedy to you name it. But now since COVID happened, so many more people that question now the vaccine, they go, I'm not an anti-vaxxer. But you know, this COVID vaccine, I go, no, no, no, no. Not labels use an own to anti-vaxxer now because they put that label on anyone who questions the religion of vaccines.

Because you're a comedian, the way I avoided my Instagram account being fully shut down during the pandemic, this whole anti-vaxxer thing was a problem. And again, like you, I've done episodes before the pandemic saying the right kind of vaccine could be a major part of the longevity movement. I have no dog in the fight. I don't care if it's a drug or a vaccine. As long as we have all the data, that's how it works. I thought, how do I handle this? And I did this video. So guys, I've got to come out of the closet. You see, some of my friends will let you stick anything in them with no standards. And that doesn't feel like my identity. But other people will never let you stick anything in them, even if it might be a good idea. And that doesn't feel like my identity. So I'm coming out as Vi curious. Oh my god. Vaccine industry curious. I love that so much. That needs to stick. We need to do that going. Isn't it so fun? And people would be like, oh, you're an anti-vaxxer.

And I just respond, you're a vaccine slut. Oh my god. Where have you been on my life, Dave Asbury? That's amazing. A vaccine slut. You know? Yeah, I kind of, I mean, my account was, I lost 95% I reached because I said something really scary. Don't inject pregnant women with anything unless their life is immediately in danger right now. Correct. Because the first trimester is very delicate. And we don't know everything. And I wrote a major book on fertility and I restored my former wife's fertility so we could have two babies. Wow. Like I know my shit on this. And this blue-haired, angry mask wearing OBGYN on Twitter organizes a mob. Because if you organize a mob on Instagram, they'll see if they find that. Yeah. To have them all report my account. So like this stuff happens and it turns out I was right. 82% of women injected with a color vaccine lost their babies. I have friends that lost their babies. Yeah. If they had followed my account and it wasn't blocked, I was warning them like it's, the

risk isn't worth it. It's amazing how many conspiracy theories came out true. Yeah. Sadly, because look at all of those miscarriages that happen. And then we see Fauci's texts that come out and says, and then a week later, I think later he says everything's, there's no warning signals. I don't know how broad that fake pardon was that he got, but we need to do something that's not. Otherwise there's a special place in hell for people like that. They're going to make a whole special hell for Fauci. Honestly, honestly. And I think people need to see somebody held accountable because so many people lost their jobs being forced to get vaccine. So many people got sick. Do you know how many people? And I'm sure you do too. I get calls for every vaccine injury known to man. So when people have their child get injured, they call me. They find me when the COVID vaccine happened. So many people called me, what do you do? What do I do? Help me help me help me. And it's so heartbreaking because I know a lot of people didn't want to do it and they had to do it. Yeah. It was unreasonable, unfair. It was mafia. It was all the things. And there's still people walk around today saying, oh, I'm so glad I got it.

And these are people who are showing you who they are. These are people who are so willing to believe their own story that they will burn the world down to be right. That's exactly right. There's scary people. They're the people you don't hire. They're the people you actually remove from your friend group because they're dangerous. Because if they can do that about the vaccine, they'll do it about everything else. We call them narcissists. Yeah, you're absolutely right. Now's a good time to commit to the things that make you feel better, feel more powerful. And part of that is upgrading your hair and skin routine. If you're thinking about having better hair, maybe this is your sign to start. The iristore elite and aluminum face mask are both part of my stack. The elite is their advanced hair growth system. It's got 300 lasers and 200 LEDs to help your growth thicker, healthier hair in about three months. And you find out who's really, who's on your side. I would love to pick your brain about some more autism things. Can I since I've got your tension? We can for sure. And plus we're going to do an episode in your show, which is going to be so exciting about that. Before we get there, I want to show one story about the beginnings of all this kind of of why this, why this really matters.

So I didn't know I was autistic when I was young, but I was in the gate program gifted and talented. And people don't know this, but the CIA set up the gate program so that they could recruit the right kinds of people with special guests. Yeah. You see top three tapes like the CIA has been studying that kind of set for a long time. And I'm not joking about this. You know, I think been in the program. Unfortunately, I don't think maybe I was programmed. I don't know it, but I don't think they did anything with me. But that's what it was for. And the Russians had a similar program. Yeah. But they were a little bit more extreme. They would actually give their kids starting as young as 10 psychedelics and inject them with ATP and things to expand their superpowers. But and by the way, I'm not just making that stuff up like one of the kids who was in it, told me about it. I know someone that was in it just while. Yeah. So anyway, I knew I was special that way. No social skills and you know, all the things that now we recognize as autism. And in my mid 20s, I'm, you know, tech entrepreneur and kicking serious ass. My grandmother who was a PhD nuclear engineer, it was almost national labs, little bit autistic,

you think? Right. Right. So she read a paper that had the first quiz you could take at home that was diagnostic. And she had all of her kids take it. And all of her kids except for one, she had seven kids were very high on the score. I was high on the score. And I'm like, oh, this explains so many things. So I became aware. This was about 20, 25 years ago. I became aware of like adult autism. I'm like, okay, now I understand myself better. And now I kind of have a target. I started learning about mold. I learned about the longevity movement. And the things that made old people young make autistic people not autistic. Yes. Right. Wow. And the goal of being not autistic isn't to lose the ability to see patterns that other people are completely blind. You don't lose your superpower. No, it's to not have the inability to control your state. Yeah. So if you have these special abilities, but they're flopping on your tire all the time, you can't remember things.

You lose your words. And you have the interest of thoughts. You have the OCD and ODD was one of my favorite things I had in middle school and high school oppositional defined disorder. Yeah. You had that? Oh, yeah. That's the raging and some machine song. Like FU, I won't deal with you. Don't make runs in your head all the time and it won't stop. Oh, yeah. And you can tell me to do something that I want to do. And before I can think, I will say, no, I won't do it. You can't make me. I'm like, why would I say that? What was me? It was a broken system. I'm like, I'm just saying that before I could think. So once I got into this, I started working in the autism movement. There's a group called Defeat Autism Now, about 20-something years ago. And a good friend started something called Defeat Autism Yesterday. And I actually designed her website and did all sorts of support for that. And that woman, Dana, actually introduced me to the woman I ended up marrying, who was a mother of my kids. So I've been involved in the autism thing as much as the longevity thing all the time, because I needed to make my brain work. Wow.

And the gifts of understanding that you are on the spectrum or you have it on the spectrum are many. And there's different flavors of autistic reality forming where my kind of autism is the engineering kind. I know how stuff works. I know how to make stuff. So cool. Like I look at everything and I have a picture on my head of how it works. And other people don't see the world that way. They might, this is my favorite kind of person. There are people who look at a group of people and they know everyone and how they're all interconnected socially. And I'm like, that is a superpower. I have to understand how they do that. That's so funny. So if you're autistic, have a friend who's a super connector and you guys are great friends because they can't do what you do, you can't do what they do. Yeah. Right. But there's other kinds of autism. They're people who are incredibly empathic or even telepathic as we're seeing in telephathy touch. Correct. And right now, the neuroscientists that you see in the telephathy tapes works for me at my 40 years of Zen neuroscience company where we train people's brains to do superpowers stuff. Absolutely. Oh, that is so cool. That is so cool. I did all this because I just wanted my brain to work.

I just wanted to feel good. Yeah. So I have pain in my body and to not just be angry and foggy all the time. So it's possible. I was at a family member, a cousin who was given the MMR against what her parents said. There was no consent. The parents said don't do it and the doctor did it anyway. And she became autistic. Her mom dropped out of her fast paced Silicon Valley career and spent 15 years restoring her kids health. She graduated top of her class and is a highly thriving adult today. Wow. So the cost in the family was enormous. Yes. The CEO of one of the startups that we sold for $600 million a long time ago. I sat down for dinner with him because he wanted to talk about autism and he said, you know, I really think it was the MMR vaccine. He was fine. He gave him the vaccine and then he was never the same. Correct. And this was back in 2001, maybe. Yeah. And some was born in 2002. Yeah. It's a thing. It's real.

And I've seen it in my family. I've seen it in my own brain. And I've seen it in so many people out there. Yeah. And you'll always get the trolls. But this one person wasn't vaccinated. Well, dumbass. Who says there's only one thing that can cause something? Correct. Here's the guy. He has blunt force head trauma. It could have been a baseball bat. It could have been a car accident. That's right. But it's the same injury. Correct. And so I'll just tell you, the baseball bat is the MMR vaccine. Yeah. You're right. Yeah. You're absolutely right. And I have met people who live on farms, who their children, who weren't vaccinated, but they live next to pesticides. Yeah. Also got diagnosed. So there is, it's an environmental injury. Yeah. Have some sort. And the hallmark of autism is number one, a mitochondrial network collapse. Right. Number two, neuroinflammation. So what it really feels like is there's not enough power. So your brain's just struggling to make sense of reality. But all of the things that let you sense the world, they're static on all the lines. You're trying to hear, but there's, and you're trying to see, but there's stuff floating

around in there. And you're trying to feel things, but it's like things are vibrating that aren't actually vibrating. Right. So without, with enough energy, it's hard enough. But with low energy, you just have to throw out things that aren't necessary just to survive. Right. So you build your worldview with a processor that's getting set up in your brain to run at the lowest possible power. But then when you come along and you say, you know what, now that the brain is optimized for low power and you give it a time power, you have a hyper efficient brain. Like Einstein's brain wasn't bigger. It was more efficient. Right. I want that for my son so badly. Your son already has it. So all we've got to do now is turn the power back up. And for me, when I say, I don't have autism or it's because I don't, I don't have it on the tests. But more importantly, not only did I fix my power levels, I also went through and I retrained how my tongue moves, how my eyes work, how my ears hear freely. Yeah.

In order to be as functional in the world's am, which is pretty fucking functional if I can say so myself. I would say so. Right. You know, 10 years of kind of groping around. That's why I run a neuroscience company. And it's one of the reasons I'm so fascinating Dave. So we can take our autistic people and we can literally turn off the negatives and they have the potential because I'm going to say we as in people who have this pattern of seeing things, we can see things other people can't see. Right. And some of them probably see dead people. I don't see dead people, but I know people who do and I believe that I see dead people for those. Do you have a dog that sells? If two different people don't know each other, see the same dead person. Do that science. And I've seen that happen plenty of times. Like, wow, totally invisible. I also don't see X-rays, but I know they're there. Yeah. Right. Don't see X-rays. I know they're there. That's actually really good. But it's true. You do have superpowers. I've seen my son. He's got superpowers, but he's tired. And we can, when you get our energy back, we have the ability to really help the world. I think so too. Yeah.

I definitely think autistic people are here to help change the world. There's no doubt about mine. It's going to be hard to stop us. It's going to be hard to stop us. To be honest, it's already happened. I mean, watching, you know, I have to make the disclaimer as well. Because I do get a lot of flak, especially autistic young adults who might be in college or in the workforce who are saying, stop trying to fix us. Stop trying to, there's nothing broken. And I keep telling them, listen, and if you're listening, is that I'm feeling, I'm fixing the parts that make, especially my son, not feel good. When he feels better, he's, you know, he can perform at his best, but when you fix the boo-bos, he's then able to function better. So I'm just going to say this straight up as a former autistic guy. If you're autistic and you're celebrating your autism, you're doing it wrong. You have a brain that's capable of logic because you have autism, so be logical about it. Autism isn't one thing. It's a set of thousands of things and half of them will fuck you up.

And there are reasons that you don't feel good a lot of the time and that you're hyper reactive and that you have to have things a certain way. You can turn that off and keep all the superpowers. And if you just think autism is one thing and you have to keep all of it, you're being stupid and irrational and autistic people aren't irrational. So either do what I'm saying or admit you're irrational and that's going to be hard because you're autistic. Now you caught their attention. What are some saying? What do I do? Number one, get more power on this system. So this means stop doing things that create friction. And if you're on the spectrum, there's a great chance that you love mac and cheese and pizzas and we I did. Oh yeah. So Darry and we are almost universally going to be toxic for you because you have a leaky gut and you got to fix all the bad stuff in your gut that's going on. So you might want to look at some probiotics or whatever testing. And if you want to get energy into your brain, you could look at ketosis. The number of engineers in Silicon Valley, which is a code word for on the spectrum.

It's so true. It really is. And I say this as Silicon Valley guy, the number of those who massively benefited from an invention that I came up with a long time ago, putting butter and some called MCT oil and coffee. Now it used to be called bulletproof coffee. I don't have nothing to do with that company. Danger coffee is a new one. But I'm telling you caffeine is one of your superpowers. In fact, that's caffeine on my bicep. That's tattooed there. And no, tattoos are not good for you, especially a lot of them, but I did it in the way. All right. So caffeine increases the rate of ketone formation and ketones fuel your neurons in a special way. So in your brain, there's two systems that you manage. We all do this, but we don't know it. And it's particularly important for people on the spectrum. The neurons are the rock stars in your brain. Right? So everyone talks about them and they have lots of power and lots of mitochondria and they're doing all the thinking. I mean, you know, this of anyone I've ever interviewed, what's a rock star without a roadie? Right. Exactly.

Nothing happens out of whole team you never see. That's right. Right. So the glial cells in your brain are the roadies. These are the maintenance crew. And they can be in one of two states called M1 or M2. And I'm here cribbing from Dr. David Pearlmutter, a dear friend and 10 times New York times that's selling author and psychiatrist. And just one of the wise elders of the health movement. And this M1 and M2 problem with your glia, if they are in M1, they are angry, protesting unionized roadies like saying, sorry, we're on strike. Right? And if they're M2, they're saying, how do we make the show better? So your job, if you're on the spectrum, is get some power into your rock star neurons and you do that with ketones. And the side effect of ketones is it helps to calm the glial cells. And then you can take medications or you can take herbs and supplements that turn down the angry glial cells and turn them back into useful ones.

And so should I start them on a keto diet? Well, it turns out keto diets generally suck for long term use. But it will absolutely. If you're on the spectrum and you can make yourself go on ketosis after the two or three day, I feel like crap. You'll feel like you got your life back. Wow. However, it's hard to do. I was, I wrote the first major book on cyclical ketosis and you have been a fan of it, but I haven't been in ketosis formally for a while. But I'm drinking something right now. I was going to say, couldn't, could this be an alternate? This stuff is called kinetic and it's spelled funny, K-E-N-E-T-I-K. This, when you drink it, raises your levels of ketones in the blood and therefore the brain as much as if you didn't eat any carbs for five days. Really? So, you know, I had some watermelon and some fruit with my breakfast, which would have taken out of ketosis. But if you measure it, now I have ketones. It tastes so good, too. And it, as I was going to say, what's in it, but it's patented, too. You don't know. No, we know. They tell you straight up. It's, it's something that, that contains the actual ketones that your body makes if

you're in ketosis. But it tastes good. It tastes so good. So, this would make him feel like he's in. It'll give him a spark. Okay. What's happening in the brain is, the brain is delicately balancing energy and it's trying to figure out what's a threat and what's not a threat. Now, this is an autistic brain that hasn't had enough energy to do that. It isn't very good at recognizing something that's a threat or not a threat. So then, you know, the things that are really irritating to autistic people like the tags and your shirts. Oh my gosh, the tags and the shirts. Yes. You used to drive me crazy as a kid. I still try to. I got over that. It doesn't bother me anymore unless it's like actually sharp. Bathers me. What's more fun anyways? Yeah. Well, I mean, you might be a little on the screen. I'd take a little bit maybe. And you'll have to talk about when they're not on the spectrum, too, because that that can be a whole different conversation. Totally. You guys are much harder to spot by some of the most feminine women that you see are on the spectrum. Oh wow. Because they just look around. They see the pattern and they're like, okay, I got it. They do all the things, right?

And they fit right in. But internally, their dialogue is very, very different and they're feeling lonely and all that kind of stuff. But a typical old school psychiatrist is going to take one look at Jim. Like, you're not addressed. You're not autistic. That's how we're swimming. Right, right, right. That's true. That's true. So fixing the brain with some ketones will help. The ketones would be good. And then blocking toxins. Toxins really mess you up. And the worst toxin, aside from maybe mold toxins, is called lipopolic sacrate. This is just bacteria toxins. We all get them and wheat and corn and pretty much all grains except for white rice will create holes in your gut in all humans. But autistic people already have big enough holes. So when you give us extra ones of that, now the toxins come through. And in normal people, their brains filter the toxins out pretty well. But in autistic people, they get into the brain and they make your glial cells go on strike. Okay. So you could just absorb them. Activated charcoal is magic. It's been used for 10,000 plus years. You just take that. But how do you take that?

I heard you take 150 supplements a day. Is that true? I do. Okay. I take 100 literally. Oh my god. You're the coolest person ever. I love that. I have my double bag. Is this big that I travel? It's 100. I have a hard time figuring out when to take my binder because I'm taking so and then at night, I need something. I do take my laton and go to sleep at night. So it's like, okay. And I take my hormones at night. So it's like, where am I supposed to take my binder? Here's the best time to take a binder. And what's coming on is when you have autism, you have a much higher chance of your body being good at saving bile. You've got bile. I heard about that in some grade. So you deliver, makes bile, stores it in the gallbladder and then squirts it in to help you digest your food. Right. There's just one little problem. Making bile is metabolically expensive. So if you have the genetics that allow you to make it through a famine, you recycle your bile. And if you have other genetics, like the majority of people, you basically use your bile

and then you make new stuff. So those are the people who die in a famine, right? And the people with the genes that we have are, no, no, we saved our expensive bile, but it's a metabolic trade off. Right. And so we're recycling the best. And all of these nasty toxins, lipbo means fat, polysaccharides. These are fat, loving, toxic sugars. And since every cell in your body is made out of little droplets of fat, it's like if you put a drop of blue food coloring and a glass of water, eventually everything is blue. Well, if you've been getting gut toxins and mold toxins, most of your life, they're percolated throughout your body. They're not percolated. They're distributed to everybody. So what you'd want to do is take your activated charcoal a half hour before a meal. And that means it'll be sitting in the gut right where the bile comes out and that's a sticks to bile. And then you poop your bile out and it forces the body to make more. That makes so much sense. But what if this one needs a digestive enzyme before a meal? It's fine. It does. He's needed before the meal.

He needs it with the meal. So what he does, you take the charcoal a half hour before. Okay. And it's going to be basically through the stomach, right? And then you eat the food and you take that digestive enzyme at the beginning or in the middle of the meal. Got it. And I am a huge fan of enzymes, especially for people on the spectrum, but anyone over 50 isn't making enough enzymes on their own. No. So you can eat the steak, but you don't get the benefits of the steak without the enzymes. So we should all be on them. Correct. So it'll be fine. And if some of the enzymes sticks to the charcoal, who cares? But it's not going to happen because the charcoal is already busy lower down in the gut. Right. Okay. And you take yourself months at the end of the meal. It'll work. Do you have a favorite binder? Activated charcoal is the most reliable and hard to control. It really is, isn't it? Pharmaceutical either somewhere called colostiramine, which is magic. I love colostiramine. You only have to take it like two, three times a week for most people. This is a very old drug designed to lower cholesterol by binding bile. That's how it works. Oh, wow. Because bile also recirculates cholesterol. And a lot of these mold toxins and bacterial toxins look like cholesterol molecularly.

Why aren't you taking it every day then? Well, when you take it every day, it also depletes coq 10 vitamin, date. In fact, I make a vitamin, date and go to vitamin, date.com. Wait, what's vitamin, date? DAK and E. Fatsoctobibidamins that everybody needs. And if you're on the spectrum, you need more of them because most of us are low vitamin D as well. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You have supplements, right? Yeah, yeah. Vitamin D is one of them. I'm going to get that. I'm going to get that. Yeah, yeah. It's good stuff. And it has real vitamin A because a lot of people can't convert this plant vitamin A that's not in vitamin A. We can't make real vitamin A and we need real vitamin A. So I put the good stuff out. Oh, that's good. So all these autistic people, of parents who have kids with autism, you had to write that down. That's good information. Yeah, and this is about having adequate, just basics. So there's a lot of times where I get frustrated people are trying to get their longevity game on. They're trying to, I'm going to try peptides. Do you have enough minerals in your body? Because if you don't have selenium and molybdenum, which I can never say, right? Despite reading it 100 times in my last book, I know, moly or whatever.

I can't pronounce anything. That's good. So magnesium and manganese and copper and zinc, if you don't have those, taking peptides is dumb. Like peptides are the frosting on the cake. But if you have a cake, you try to put frosting on it. The cake collapses. Why are you frosting it? That's peptides. I have a huge amount of peptides. I wrote a book about them. I've used them for 15 years. Yeah, you grew up kind of on the forefront before everybody. And it helps to have been really sick. But the idea here is, if you're on the spectrum, you probably have problems with your minerals. You probably have B vitamins, methylation issues, problems with sulfur. And all of these are easy to diagnose. Now they weren't 20 years ago. Do you have a favorite detox for vaccines? I mean, it depends which vaccine. Right. And also it depends on which biology. But generally speaking, you need a binder. And if it's any of the COVID stuff, you're going to need high-dose, nato kinase or seropeptides. Right. These are enzymes that digest the spike protein itself. And if you're on the spectrum, listen to me here.

If you were to take seropeptides about five pills of the big pills, well, they're not that big, but big does, every night it's going to do really good things for you over time. Because this enzyme, which comes from silkworms, circulates in it, finds gunk in your blood, any kind of protein debris, bacterial debris, and it digest it and gets it out. So I've been doing this for 25 years because, well, old people taught me when I was in my 20s and the leaders in the longevity movement, two generations ago knew all about this. The reason that I'm so flexible and I'm fit and I can do things is because I stopped my body from making excess collagen, which also comes over time when you're autistic. So all the body pain you get, you can address that, but it also just happens to keep your blood flowing. Okay. This is subcruberation. Oh, yeah. I've actually thought about doing a book, you know, how to reverse your autism, but man, there's a lot of things on my plate and I'm working so much in longevity movement. I bet. But this is going to help already. I think it will, but I want to hear more about how you approach the public conversation

else because you were, and I think you've done a huge service, you were just willing to go out there and say this and just doesn't matter what they, what they say publicly, you're going to do this because you love your son. I love my son. Yeah. It was that promise I made to God when my son was very ill and I didn't know if I'd ever get him back. I didn't know if he would survive to be honest because of the debilitating injury. So when he started to get better, I thought to myself, okay, my son didn't sign up for this. I'm about to make him a very public figure for the rest of his life. Do I really want to do this? But I had, you know, you just, you know, the knowing that you have in your heart of what you're supposed to do. I knew that if my story could help so many more parents get into cleaning out detoxing their kids, having their kids being able to thrive, reverse autism, how could I withhold that information? So I knew no matter what I had to do it. It was very scary times because there was times where I was a single mom.

I just got to bores the same week. I was diagnosed. I had got autism diagnosis. So I was a single mom trying to heal my son while still work, but now I couldn't work because I was getting ostracized and banned and fired from all of my endorsements. So it was a very, very tricky time for me. But watching the public, I can't tell you how many people everywhere I went when I would take a flight, there was a line on the plane of parents who were next up, next up. I wound up touring for six years, doing talking at Dan Conferences. Oh my God. For years and years and years, and I spoke to over half a million parents face to face one on one. I would stay afterwards and have a line and talk to them all and teach them. And I knew that that was, there was such a bigger purpose and a divine calling that I knew even if I got beat up and fired, God will have my back in some way. And my books, I started writing books.

Thank God. I mean, I'm writing my, I just finished my 10th or 11th book. But that allowed me to feed my son, put a roof over her head and afford treatments during those, during those years. And then solely I kind of worked myself back into getting hired in the biz. Huh. Well, congratulations on sticking to it. And you said something in passing there. You said, you know that feeling in your heart when you know what you're supposed to do? Yeah. Not everyone has that feeling. Really? Yeah. It's true. And, or maybe they have it, but they have never learned how to listen to it. In fact, that's probably more accurate. And you said something earlier that was even more important on this topic. You said that a week before your son got the MMR that you knew and you actually pointed down to your like to your first and second chocolate. My gosh. That you knew it. Well, intuition is actually a thing and it's stronger in autistic people.

We just learned to use our brains to shut it down and not pay any attention to it because we want to be logical. But it's actually a very strong signal. You are gifted with being plugged in at least partially to your intuition. No doubt. Right. And the good news is women have stronger intuition than men and there's a mitochondrial reason for that. And men also have great intuition. It's just it's a different sensation than it is for women. And I know because I train people to have better intuition using neuroscience. We're measuring their brains and teaching them a certain state. So it's that part of you that when you got the intuition, you didn't trust it and then you went with what you're supposed to do. And here's a cool thing about autism is why I think you might have just a touch of the chism. There's no dialects to say about me. No one's ever told me this before. So this is breaking information. I mean, you do have a kid with autism. Yeah. You ever done a test? No. Oh, that's probably a good idea to do. Yeah, maybe. You can do them online that are actually the same ones universities.

Okay. And you know, it is a spectrum. It goes from zero to confidence. Totally. Right. So, you know, you might be in the direction of it without having it. But one thing that they did in a really cool test is they took people on the spectrum and people know the spectrum and they had them play a game where basically if you lie, you make 20 bucks. And then they upped the amount of money. And neurotypical people at a certain point, all of them will take the money. And the autistic people, you cannot buy us. It's exactly that's so true. Yeah. Like we know it's right. We know the world works. We know that if people behave this way, that the future is bright. And if people behave the other way, it's wrong. It's intrinsically wrong. And so we won't do it. Now, listeners know about how I lost bullet proof with some bad board stuff. Along the way, I turned down a $75 million bribe from an investor who was trying to get me to sell the company, to sell them shares in the company for half what it was worth.

It would have taken the money out of my employees pockets and put it in half of it in his pockets, half of it in my pockets. And I said, no, because it was wrong. I'm so proud of you. Oh, thank you. I don't regret it for a minute because it was wrong. Right. Because I've also never cheated on a partner. Like because if people do that shit, the world becomes ugly. That's right. So I don't want to be part of the world being ugly. Now that can also mean that autistic people are easy to take advantage of. Yeah. And especially sociopaths and narcissists just see autistic people because we tend to take people at what they say instead of what they do until we learn a new model of reality for how it works. But then if you have good pattern matching and you learn a functional model of reality instead of the one your body made up when you didn't have enough power, then you can do things. This is so fascinating. I can tell you're like, I'll let up. I can sew it up. I'm so fascinating. This is why my son keeps accidentally dating nurses. Well, yeah, maybe why I used to date nurses.

It could easily be. And why nurses are attracted to that. I don't really know. But it's likely because part of being on the spectrum is that there's a lot of emotional pain because other people don't behave the way you think they should because everyone imagines that other people are the same as them. This is why the love languages or the erotic blueprints exist because if you love someone and you like getting gifts, then you'll buy them gifts even if they don't like gifts. They just wanted you to say I love you. Right. Right. Well, it's the same with our nervous systems and things like that. So when people on the spectrum realize, oh, this is a more functional model and we convert over to that, then you're going, oh, like, what's my model for trust? And there's four models for trust that we can use. And most autistic people are in the lower two. And when you come to the larger one, your stress goes down because now your expectations of others change.

Right. Yeah. So what autistic people really need to know is that there are two groups of people. And I read about these and heavily meditated my last book, but one of them is the narcissist and sociopaths. These are people who are for them to win. You have to lose, but they won't tell you that. Right. So they will not act rationally. In my case, when bull proof, when I was removed from the board, the company was for sale for half a billion dollars. I was going to make a hundred billion dollars. I investors would make hundred billion dollars. I didn't know about the guy who thought that if he made two million dollars and I made nothing, that was a better deal. And so people basically, I would say, bribed him with the structure of a deal to say, crush any deal that doesn't do what the investors wanted to do, which was not a good thing. So I'm like, wow, I would have thought aligned incentives. No, some people, they're rational, but in their world, it's rational to crash the deal because I had to lose or they lost.

Right. So you got to understand there are when lose people out there. Yeah. And the other one is, this is the hard one. There are actually stupid people. That's true. And stupid is a mathematical definition from a Berkeley professor in the 1920s who wrote the most amazing book, the basic laws of human stupidity. And he basically says a stupid person is a person who will do something that provides no benefit or negative benefit to them and negative benefit to others. So a pickpocket is not stupid, right? They got your wallet, but a stupid guy takes your wallet and then just throw it in the river in front of you. Why did you do that? Because you didn't win. I didn't win. Everybody lost in the even the fish lost like nobody won on this. And when you understand, oh, what am I dealing with and how do I know? It changes your goalability. Because it takes 50 years to figure that out. Only if you really, really are stubborn and require a lot of suffering to get the lesson.

The easiest thing to do is to learn from your elders who've already suffered for you. And so in the longevity movement, I was mentored by people in their 70s and 80s when I was in my 20s. That's why I'm such a good biohacker. It's so smart for you to have listened to them. Oh, because I was going to die otherwise. Yeah. I was kind of desperate. But if I'd have listened to this one CEO who ran a $500 million company who looked in the eye when I told him I was going on, without all the diesel, I would say, this one employee, senior executive, and she's doing these weird things. He looks at me because I was mentored by Jack Welch. Right? And you said, I run a $500 million company. Now, are we going to fire that employee with my phone or your phone? And he gets out his phone. And I didn't listen. And that was $100 million mistakes. I didn't listen to someone. Whoa. That's why I like to hang out with people 20 years older than me. Yeah. You know, that's really smart. Yeah. $100 million. Oh, yeah. That was kind of painful. But how many humans have $100 million lesson in discernment? So I have the most expensive discernment of anyone. You know what? That would force you to learn discernment. Yeah, I'm straight. Anything.

Now, my team and my companies, man, they're so good because I just went through. I'm like, we got to clean this up. I would say that is my superpower. Oh, yeah, discernment. Oh, very much so. Ah, lucky you. Yeah. I mean, I have helped my husband so much when I started with him. I was like, that person, that person, that person needs to go. Female intuition. Yeah. And so I'm going to say this to the autistic women. I'm over here. You have insane superpowers of intuition. You just have to sort out what's an emotion and what's an intuition, right? And when you tap that in, you are literally unstoppable and you can make the men around you really successful. And for the men who are autistic, trust the women around you who you know are not narcissists and not stupid who have high intuition. Did you hear that, man? Did you hear that, guys? You trust them. I'm to the point where it's who of my senior most employees have been working with me for 14 years. And they're highly intuitive. So if I'm about to hire someone and either of them says, I got a bad feeling about that,

then I just don't hire them. It doesn't matter if I like them. The risk is too high. And if you're married to someone who's highly intuitive, which I used to be, if she would say, this is bad news, it's all right, is this intuition or is this a trauma response? And in that case, it was almost always intuition in the times I ignored it. Some of them are very expensive. This is how the world works. Intuitive women and men who have some intuition but learn to trust is what partnerships really are about. I love that story about though, you having that knowing to walk away from that deal for the betterment of your employees as well. Like that's a beautiful thing. They're doing all the work, right? And at the time, I had 100 plus employees and they all had sock options and my job is to make them all wealthy. If I had done that deal, it would have literally been stealing from the people who stayed up late, making coffee and doing all the things. And I get to go to sleep with myself at night. In that CEO who crashed the deal and crashed the company, he gets to sleep with himself

at night. Exactly. I have a thing that my skincare and beauty line, Formos Beauty, which I did send you some skincare. Oh, it's awesome. Isn't it great? Yeah, the glittery lip gloss is so good. It's actually really cool because I'm single right now. I have a drawer in the bathroom where I'm like, pick something and then I use the face cream. It's good stuff. It's good stuff. But to go along with that story a little bit, when I created Formos Beauty, I created it out of a need, out of clean beauty that actually performs because a lot of times, you know this. Something that's clean doesn't work. And I was like, I need something that's truly clean and then also works. So I met with the environmental working group. As a form. I formed the whole company around EWG's guidelines and their science. So it's so cool. It's so cool. And now this is the part that goes with your story that so many people along my journey have tried to get me to sell out, try to meaning like, can we just cut corners a little bit? It will be so much more profitable. Can we change this and I kept going, are you out of your mind?

I am such like a truth teller that I can't imagine selling garbage or anything that will hurt people. Like I'm so sticking to my guns with this, but I still have these like little, it's almost like, um, remember, Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory, the guy that comes and matching the alley, I have so many people coming to me like that during this building of my brand that are like, come this way. It's much cheaper. Come make the products in China. We're made in the USA. We follow these restrictions and I'm so proud of it. I'm so proud that I've stuck to my guns. It's that integrity, right? And it's something that, okay, it might be more expensive, but you can bet that there's enough people who are willing and able to spend a little bit more for something that works better. Right. I built $140 million a year on revenue on that bet and then I met with the CEO and executive team at Coke and Pepsi and Kellogg's and they're going, you have this amazing ability to innovate and can you teach us about innovation?

They all serve the same thing. We want to make a healthier product and I said, well, it's easy. Just make this all change and so, but that'll make it a half a cent more expensive and then our competitors will take all the market because people will always buy the cheapest stuff. Right. And they have a point there. So it's your job and it's my job to show people that the cheapest stuff is actually very expensive because it makes you feel like shit. That's exactly right. They just don't know. So the other thing is, I mean, I guess 140 million a year isn't much compared to Coke or Pepsi. But if the company hadn't been kind of closed lined by the financial stuff, it would probably have been probably three, four hundred million dollars a year. Wow. Bottom line is some products are going to be a little bit more expensive, but they've set the standard. It's true and it's like we third party test. I've got people to come to me go, I'm I have Lupus, I have MS, all the other issues I've got allergies and your products only only ones that works and don't activate me. In fact, I remember going on the doctor, I'll show for the first time and it's funny how much makeup they put on you before you go on.

Totally. So I'm sitting there. They have like the smock on and I'm doing like a Facebook live at the time or whatever it was. I'm like, Hey guys, I'm going to go on Dr. Oz. You don't know. It looked pretty, you know, because I'm pretty transparent. But the stuff had fragrance in it and it made my eyes itching around the show, like squinting, right? And your stuff doesn't do that. No fragrance or nothing. Yeah. So thank you for making good stuff. I still have environmental sensitivities that a lot of people on the spectrum have and it's because we get the genes where we don't detox toxins very well. I have those too. And so for me, fragrances, I'm probably nine out of 10 most sensitive to those things because my body won't handle aldehyde very well, which are in a lot of those. Yes, me too. So if I'm making out with someone wearing a bottle of shitty perfume, even an expensive shitty perfume, we should not number five. I'm looking at you. Any of these skincare products that are just laced with hormone disruptors. Correct. Like I'm trying not to sneeze here, but this isn't particularly sexy. Do you know big makeup came to me when they found I was making my products and I was at

some conference or something and they said, good luck trying to make mascara on McCarthy because it's impossible to make that clean because mascara is the second biggest offender makeup. Yes. We're one of your eyelashes. I think it works. Right? Well, these ones I have fake ones out. Okay. But they did it works beautifully, but we have no hormone disruptors were like one of the only mascara that don't have hormone disruptors in it. I love that. We did it. I'm so proud of myself Dave. You have no idea. I love when people tell me I can't do something. Oh, yeah. And then I do it. There's your oppositional defined disorder. It totally is. It makes for the best entrepreneur. Truly, truly, I'm so proud. Oh, there's something else around autism that is is profound. If you're on the spectrum and you're exposed to air fresheners and all of the scented crap, scented trash bags, just the stuff that just seems like it's everything, it will for some of you just completely scramble your brain, which is why you should use something

like formless beauty and you should pay extra attention to having an air filter and you just shouldn't buy anything with fragrance. That's right. My team knows this. Right now I live where 40 years is in my neuroscience places. So it's has its own building, but the chef is in the house and my guest don't wear perfume. Correct. People going to incredible altered states. They do not need to smell whatever hormone disruptors you're wearing, right? Plus I don't really like it. And in the house zero. So you have to teach the whole team. Don't buy scented anything. We would make great friends, Dave. We would make this is me. I have everywhere I go. I go, don't we're perfume? Don't we're cologne? Don't we're perfume? My brain goes haywire. I break out in a rash. All of that can be managed. Right. So I can stay with a brain that has a level of focus and we've measured this quantitatively in the top 99.99% of all humans. Right. And I can still hold it with most of these things and this is going to sound really stupid.

But in my pocket right now, I'm going to show you what I did for it to hit some spocket. I love it. I mean, I have this, you should see my social media right now. It's me hanging out of cars because a driver wears something. Oh my God. I just tell him, hey, could you take the pine threes and just put them all in the glove box because they shrink my balls. And then the driver's like, what? And I go, well, they probably shrink here as two, but I'm not going to judge. Yeah. They never do that. That's that's why cheaper than what I do because I go, here's $100 to throw it out the window right now. Oh my God. And then they throw it out the window. I love that. Yeah. Okay. I'm going to steal that. I want to get a box that I found and inside it is designed actually for holding nicotine pouches. But I have some DAO enzyme, which I take with meals because a lot of people have histamine issues. So if you're on the spectrum and you be left over fish, leftover pork, or fermented soy like soy sauce and you get brain fog and sugar cravings after meal, it's because you're histamine sensitive and you have a leaky gut. So you probably should need those things.

But if it's really bad, I'm sorry, coughing. This is a Benedrill. And Benadill knocks on your ass for you. The whole thing's so down. You just like take a little nibble like like that. Oh, you're kidding. Just a little bit. Now why that versus a anti-histamine? Well, Benadill is one of the most powerful fast-sacting H-on-histamines. I also take Claritin and Pepsi-D morning and night every day. And that's part of my long-covid protocol too. But so many people on the spectrum are sensitive to histamine and they get mass cell activation syndrome. Yes. Which is exactly the cause of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, both of which I was diagnosed with and treated for by doctors. And so mass cells are, well, it's part of that collagen malformation thing that happens. Yeah. And these are little cells in your immune system. They're like a landmines. And their job is to hang around to there's an actual threat. And then when there's a threat, they blow up. They literally degrade and they explode. And they release histamine, which causes swelling. This is good because if you're cut,

or you like spraying your ankle or something immediately, like it puffs up really fast. And that's mass cells because there was an actual threat. And they help the body to fight off infection. But they get reprogrammed in mass cell activation, which goes in line with this collagen disorder and with autism. And when they're reprogrammed, instead of like a tank making this line mine blow up, a bunny will, or a puff of wind. And then when one of them explodes, the all the ones around it explode because they're sensitizing it. These waves of inflammation, histamine is a neurotransmitter that makes you wired or tired and it gives you sugar cravings. And it makes you feel like you're drugged after a meal. So if you're really on the spectrum, let's see, you just ate a meal that had gluten and dairy that turned into opiates, called gluteomorphin and chusiumorphin. And you got histamine, which basically made you feel like crap right after the meal. So you have this delicious sushi. And you ate the fried stuff of gluten in it, which triggered that. And then you got histamine because you use the soy sauce,

which is very high in histamine. Very. And afterwards, like, I'm so tired I need a cup of coffee with sugar and I just can't focus. And I'm having a truce of thoughts and I just need to take a nap. And I'm actually unable to control my emotions right now because I don't have enough energy in my brain from my peripheral cortex to control my actions. So I'm gonna act out or I'm gonna start stemming and doing all the things. It's happening for a reason. Okay, did I not mention I had the kind of autism that tells me how things work? Okay. That's pretty amazing. I was saying. This was happening. I had to figure all this stuff out just, so I could be as functional as I am, which is awesome. And it's why I do unlimited.life, which is a concierge life extension program. I work with global elite people who spend it whole year in my program. And we show them all of this for longevity and for cognitive function. And we have two families who have kids that are on the spectrum, both of which have large levels of toxic mold. And we're going through those kids and we're just cleaning all the stuff out.

And all of a sudden, the things that are challenges, same challenges I had in college, I've failed out of computer science, right? In fact, I also was about to fail out of Wharton when I discovered Modaphanil, which is the most awesome drug ever if you're on the spectrum. Really? Yeah, do you know about this drug? No. Okay, so you might have noticed your son, sometimes just nods off, kind of falls asleep, sometimes when he doesn't want to, like his brain just doesn't have enough energy. Yes, he gets really tired and that's why I don't. So narcolepsy is a condition where you fall asleep uncontrollably. And Modaphanil is a drug that turns off narcolepsy. And it's not Adderall. I don't say he's like Adderall, okay. They had to make a new class of drug to describe what it does. It's called a rousal promoting. And I discovered this at Wharton and it's why I graduated from business school. And then I went on nightline years ago and I'm like, guys, I doped through business school. And I'm the only guy without a bag on my head. And a summary public about this is the most study drug for cognitive enhancement, even in neurotypical people. So anytime someone said,

I'm a daffodil and by hacking, I'm like, yeah, that was me on nightline 15 years ago and it's been in all my books because it's such a potent thing. So if you're saying I have energetic problems, that's because of a neurotransmitter called O-Rexin that most people haven't heard of. So for people on the spectrum, you can try 100 milligrams. You can take up to 400 a day in the morning. And a lot of people also have ADHD along with their autism. It makes it easy and frictionless inside your brain. The problem is everyone around you gets dumber from your perspective. Because you're like, I am running at my thoughts and my brain, they're finally matched. And so things are just so smooth. So if you're an asshole, you'll be a bigger asshole. I'm not gonna say just what's up for that. Okay, I am absolutely gonna look into that. And do you take it every day? I've taken it every day, give or take a few days in there for 25 years. And no side effects, no liver, function issues, nothing. Nope, five out of a million people get the same condition that Advil causes, which is a life-threatening skin,

not a immune condition. It's exceptionally rare though. Okay. So you can also get the genetics to look that up if you want to. But this is one of those things where, like if you're detoxing from yeast and mold, you're gonna have brain fog like no one's business. And this can fix it. The other thing that most autistic people have is circadian disruption. You like to stay up till two in the morning. Starting at 10 years old. Like your psychic or something, yeah. I lived it. Starting at 10 years old, I'd go to bed at two a.m. I stay up late reading. I learned to read at 18 months. And I never stopped. It's not good for you. Don't read Teacher Baby to Read is bad. Maybe you should be crawling and playing. By the way, I had to read, learn how to crawl when I was 30 years old because I read too much as a kid. I digress. So what's going on with this staying up late? It's because, well, I mentioned 80% of people have that stretchy collagen. Yeah. Well, that means your blood vessels are stretchy and your blood pressure in your brain drops. And when we look at the blood flow in your brain, if you're on the spectrum, it's likely lower than it should be.

And it's a blood pressure issue. And it's an adrenal issue. So what's happening is around eight or nine o'clock at night, your body's like, I'm tapped out. I can't make enough cortisol to keep my blood pressure up. And I might pass out and get eaten by a tiger. So I'm going to keep that blood pressure up. Have some adrenaline. So you get that kick around nine, 10. And once that adrenaline kicks in, you are going to stay up til two. So the trick is hydration with salt and electrolytes. If you're on the spectrum, you weigh more salt. The problem is a lot of those like salt packets that you can put in there are high in metals. So how do you find one that's not? Well, it turns out they're high in metals, but they're low dose. Right? So this is a common problem. People say, oh my gosh, there's 10 parts of a million of lead in that. Dude, you're taking one drop of it. So if you're eating sushi, a pound of it, like I did last night. If that's in parts of a million, you're getting a lot of mercury. But if you have one drop of something or a tiny amount of it, it's not that much. So the idea that you're going to avoid sodium because all sodium has some trace amount of metals

and it doesn't make a lot of sense. And so the benefits far away. Yeah. The possibility. Yeah, exactly. Okay. Man, the difference in quality of life when you have electrolytes, especially sodium, but some potassium magnesium are good. I use element. I like the unflavored because it's too much to do good, doesn't seem like a great idea. Is this in the morning and at night? Or just... If it's a big day, I'm traveling or I'm doing like seven episodes back to back, then I'm going to do four packets, maybe five, and I'm going to salt the crap out of my food. Wow. The more tired you are, the more sleep you got, the more you work out, the more focusing to be the more salt you have. Okay. So I'm going to do five, because now you have blood in your brains, you can think. And then you don't get the, I have to stay up all night. The second thing that messes with people on the spectrum is light. And we are more light-sensitive. And there's genes that control, as somebody called melanopsin in the eyes, and your central timing clock in the body that controls pretty much everything is called the SCN. And it's influenced by four different colors of light,

not just blue, and by the intensity and the angle of the light. So entirely invisible to your consciousness, there's a sundial in your body. It goes, oh, dim red light on the horizon must be morning. Bright light overhead must be middle of the day. Dim light on the horizon must be evening. And if you turn on the bathroom lights or you are under bright lights, you're looking at a bright screen, then that central timing thinks is okay, it must be daytime. And it messes with your cognition. So I was a 202 AM sleeper until I was about 40 years old. Wow, that's awesome. I invented the True Dark Glasses, one of my companies, it's a small company. I'm not trying to sell you guys on this. It's not going to change my life if you do or don't get them. This is one of, this is the daytime glasses. I wear your glasses. I'll do you. Thank you. These are the glasses that block the toxic part of blue that stresses your brain out. And if you're on the spectrum, your brain gets stressed out enough anyway. So I'm filtering out the crap and I'm keeping the good blue that makes me awake during the day.

And then at night, I switch to the True Dark Sunset lenses or I just have red lights in the house. If the sun goes down, I have dimmer switches and as dim as I can make it. And I never turn on a bright light even for five seconds because it messes with your sleep. Wow. I go to bed at 10.30, like a normal human for the first time in my life because I learned about the color of light. And I just, I make stuff I can't buy. And that's why True Dark is a brand. And these are our newest ones. I designed these myself. I will say your glasses are really freaking cool. Thank you. Yeah, everyone always asked me where I got them. So that's their his guys. Their his. I love it. But you feel a difference in the brand, don't you? Totally completely. Yeah. Yeah, I've worked with a lot of people in entertainment. And there's newscasters all over the planet now where I'm on the show and then I give them the glasses. And between when they're on, they put the glasses on just to let their brain relax a little bit and they take them off. Totally. I've been up in Vancouver on the set. I wore the reds on the on my flights just so I can relax.

I get no jet lag anymore on the planet when I wear the red ones. Yeah. But not all red glasses are the same. A lot of them are just tinted red. We're putting five stacked optical filters. No, yours are definitely different. Yeah. The most. And they look cool. Well, I thank you. And it's, if you're on this spectrum, light's going to be an issue. The number of people who can't read well because they get dyslexia. Yeah. It goes with all this. Do you have dyslexia? Yeah. We just gave you another checkbox towards your special. So I'm going to blow your mind on this one too. I love giving you share this, especially because you understand. Yeah. It turns out I should have dyslexia. So when I look at a special under fluorescent or bright LED on paper, there's all sorts of crepes swimming around the woods. Yeah, that's definitely. But because I learn to read so young, my eye tracking is good. So I don't have dyslexia. I read way faster than most people. I can just absorb like a whole page. Okay. It also makes me tired though. Oh yeah. A lot of people read and they just pass out. That's because your brain is getting overwhelmed and it just basically has to reboot.

So I'm going to say reboot people. Like it's not a computer. Well, when the energy demands are too high, the brain's like, I will enter a shutdown loop, right? It could be a migraine or it could just be like, I'm going to sort of pass out and wake up groggy. My son refers to his brain power by battery of a phone. He goes, I'm at 5%, I'm at 20, I need to reboot. So we can teach your son all of the things to do when the battery is discharging, to make it discharge slower or just refill it quickly. I have massive protocol stacks that I do for myself. So I never experienced that and I said never, but 99.99% and if something happens, I'm like, oh my God, I know exactly why that happened. And then you choose the right three strategies and I'm back in 10 minutes. Wow. Yeah. Oh my gosh, this is very exciting information. It's doable. So there's a woman named Helen Irland, who I interviewed a few years ago, she had her back on the show. And she doesn't have any of these conditions, but she listens to her patients. And she found out that anyone who has visual sensitivity,

there's certain colors that your brain doesn't process well. So she has a set of tests, I actually got certified to test people years ago, but it's been a while. And then you take the right color for your brain of just colored plastic and you put it over a book and the letters stop moving and you can read it. You're kidding, I need that. Yeah, you do. Yeah, she's an LA. Okay, I need that. Yeah, there's about 400 centers out there. I don't have any financial thing. I just think she's an amazing woman because she listened to her patients and she figured this thing out and it works. And I've seen people break down in tears when you put the right color down because it's like, oh my God, I can read and my brain doesn't hurt. You're like, I'm gonna be able to finish class. I'm gonna be able to finish college. Right. And then they even make like colored glasses for some people. And she told me that I was one of the five most sensitive to bright lights that she'd seen. Wow. Yeah. I mean, all the work that you've done, you've definitely put pain to purpose and it's a beautiful thing. It was batters, felt like shit and die early.

I think I've got a lot of toys, but it's helped like millions of people literally. And I'm, you know, even my former wife who's in furl when I met her. Wow. And like this is unacceptable. Let's do something. Five years of research and doing all the stuff. And that was my first book before I even wrote the Bullproof Diet was about how to do this. And I was in a, Stods, which are lent like a small village and had a small conference. And this couple of walk up to me, like I really wanted to talk and I thought maybe they were attending the conference. I don't recognize them. But and they said, no, we're not here for the conference. We're just, you know, on vacation, but look over there at the table and they had to, you know, maybe five or seven year olds. And they said, we couldn't get pregnant and we read your book. And like, we have two kids now. Wow. And like, this is so, it's so cool because the subtitle on that book that I didn't choose was going to be, how do I have a kid without autism? Wow. Because it rolls my family. Yeah. My kids are very freaking intelligent. They're certainly not typical,

but they're not autistic either. But I think if I didn't raise them on a farm and feed them all the right stuff. Right. And be exceptionally cautious about these untested injections. And I say untested because they're untested. Like I would like fine grain control of everyone's nervous system and we need it to live forever. Right. But I want testing and these assholes lied about the testing. So, you know, very cautious and their moms, the doctor, right? And I've asked us to the top doctors on the planet. I work with them in unlimited lives, right? So we were just very careful about environmental exposures, even including before and during pregnancy. And I consider myself really fortunate because my kids, especially my son, could have had a lot more suffering than he's had because of that. And all of the books, it's like these are the things the most precious knowledge that I found that I can't find in another book. Others, I don't want to write a book that's already been written. I'll just interview the author. Like you know, you're ladden books. Like, yeah. What's your best book? Tell me about it, right? Oh, but it's such a beautiful thing, though, that you are sharing all this great information.

Likewise. I think you've affected millions of people with the work you're doing as well. Thank you. It feels good, but I don't think that's why you do what you do, is it? No. Why do you do what you do? I mean, actually, that is the purpose. The purpose is to help as many people as possible. There's no other gain. I think there's no other reason than to help people for me. I love you. You're doing it for them, though, not for you, or are you doing it for me? It makes me feel good. It does feel good to help other people. It puts you in a flow state and all that. So because that state makes me feel good, I want to keep doing it. I love that. There's some types of health influencers out there who are doing it. I want to feed 100 million people or something. There's some ego in that kind of a thing. We're like, look, what I did. And then there's what Rick Rubin, who's also down the show, who's a friend and enlightened being in his recent book, The Creative Way, Creative Act, whatever it is, amazing book.

He writes about how the very best artists, and he's worked with all of them that I've ever loved, like Metallica, Madonna, and Kanye, and Bob Dylan, and holy crap, for one man to have that kind of influence. But the artists who win are the ones who do things because they think it's beautiful, because they want to do it. They're not doing it for the fans. They're doing it because it's right. And the fans you like it or don't, because it's funny. When they do it because it's right, the fans like it. And if they do it for the fans, the fans don't like it. Right, right. It's a subtle nuance. But if you want to really feel incredible energy, it's service to others. Absolutely. That's exactly I feel like while we're all here, it's be service to others. What else are you going to do with all this time? Exactly. Exactly. Well, you've done an incredible, incredible job. And I appreciate it. And to be willing to take the hits for speaking truth and to continue smiling and just doing the thing. I'll continue to do so. You get to wake up with yourself every morning.

And there's a lot of people who sold out and they get to wake up with themselves too. Yeah. And I think we all know who we'd rather be. Yes, exactly. Well said. Thank you. You're welcome. Jenny, what do you have to say for an instant? Well, I'm very excited to be talking to you because you are the OG of Biohackers. And my members, my fans, my friends, were all like, oh my gosh, can I give you my list of questions? I said, mine first. All right. Let's do it. So let's do it. They might be a little bit all over the place because I want to do, I want to get them all in there. So bear with me. But for people, my listeners that might not know your story. I think it's so cool that you did make, from, you went from pain to purpose in your 20s. Can you just briefly talk about why you're so passionate? Where did it come from? Sure. I used to have autism. And I used to, I don't meet the clinical definition for it anymore. I used to weigh 300 pounds. How do I try this since I was 14 years old? I spent 15 years on antibiotics as a kid for chronic strep throat and sinus infections.

I had such bad cognitive dysfunction in my 20s that I was failing out of Wharton Business School and went to a psychiatrist and figured I had toxic damage to my brain. And I come from a family of autists. And that gave me a lot of purpose because I didn't want to feel like crap all the time with a brain that didn't work. And I didn't want to die early. I bought disability insurance when I was 26 because all the doctors said I was fine, but I was worried. I have such a fear of that as well. Like ever since I was in my 20s, I'm like, I'm so scared of dying. I want to live forever. So that's why I think I'm so drawn to your passion as well. Like you want to live forever. You love your life, but you want to feel good while you're living it. Yeah. The point of extending life, if you have to spend eight hours a day extending your life, it seems like a waste of time. And extending your life if you're unhappy or you're just feeling like crap biologically, it also, it doesn't work. So the goal of biohacking when I started this movement, it was, it's a Trojan horse to get people

to pay attention to longevity. Because once you know you can live longer, you're going to be motivated to be a good human being. That's right. And so it's got the consciousness, it's got the health as just a part of the movement. I have to ask you too, because I've acquired now a lot of the mold community. Since I've recently come out about mold, you did suffer from mold poisoning. You had mold illness and you did recover from it. What was like the big bang? What was the big, the few big things where you're like, I had to do this in order to heal. Oh my God. The toxic mold thing. So it turns out I grew up in a basement that had been flooded in Albuquerque, New Mexico. And you know, it dried out, so it was fine. And I would have 10 nosebleeds a day, which is a really classic sign of mold poisoning. I'd have the weirdest vivid dreams, mold poisoning, mold will do that. I had all the weird rashes, asthma, behavioral disorders, OCD, ODD. And when you have mold in the environment, it causes streptococcus bacteria

to become more aggressive and to form biofilms in your sinuses and your throat, which is why I had streptop throat for all this time. Streptococcus bacteria in kids makes small proteins that cause a condition called pans or pandas, which is what caused me to have OCD and ODD and to have a stutter for a little while and to have all sorts of weird things. So there's an interaction between mold and bacteria in water damage homes. And this is such a big deal that I filmed a documentary and paid for it out of pocket. It was almost 200 grand to do it. And it's called moldymovie.com. It's free. It's just a gift for people. And I interviewed a dozen high performing people who were just taken out by mold and a dozen top doctors, including Dr. Aiman, Dr. Hyman, and just the roster. I know all of them, yep. And I did this because patients can take it to the doctor and show it to the doctor and the doctor will say, oh, okay, this is real. And you can show it to your spouse because quite often one member of a couple

is just taken out by mold. And the other one says, well, I'm, you know, my joints hurt a little bit, but I'm generally fine. Totally. I think he or she's nuts. That's right. My favorite interview is with two doctors. And she had severe disabling symptoms and he had none. And she said, well, I went to medical school. If you have more than three symptoms, you're a hypokondriac. So I thought maybe I had a mental illness, but then my body temperature was high, so I knew it was real. So she biopsied every organ in her body. Do you know how much that hurts? And it's just like, okay, we figured out it was mold. And, you know, and he's sitting there as an MD and saying, I don't have any of the symptoms. I absolutely believe her because it's real and I've seen it. Wow. So I did that for all the families. And guess what? If you have toxic mold and you have the right genetics, the chances of having autistic kids goes way up. And if you add to the burden, maybe a whole bunch of injections on an aggressive, stupid schedule that is anti-human, yeah, it's no wonder that weird things happen. Totally. I have to, I am gonna be all over the place

because of my members want so many things answered. And I've got probably about 45 minutes with you. So let's dive into preventing Alzheimer's. I'm scared of this. I'm cool. Now I have, I do one of those PET scan things and I found out that I very thin vascular veins that go to my brain. So it flags things that might be a problem that said, possibly dementia, I literally lost my mind because my veins, I guess are very narrow. Now I read that you did, you take CLS to prevent Alzheimer's. Is it something women can take? Absolutely. Really? Do that help me if I have small veins that go to my brain? It's worse. Okay. I would recommend the 5 milligrams of sealas, almost everyone in unlimited.life, which is the concierge, life extension medical program that I'm running. Almost all of the members are on 5 milligrams of sealas because it is a drug that extends your health. It's just, it's good for you because as we age, we make less nitric oxide and we're less sensitive to it. So these micro, microcapillaries, small blood vessels

won't open up the way they should. When I got my first brain scan, I had five standard deviations, less blood in my brain than average. That's not five times more. It's more like 50 times more. My brain was running on fumes, so you can address it. And 5 milligrams of sealas for men and women ought to be standard of care, especially starting in your 40s. Will it make me super horny? The cool thing about sealas is it increases blood flow. Okay, so it doesn't make you horny, it just makes you, well, I could. Well, you might find morning bean is the thing as opposed to morning wood from that. Okay. You have to clip for sure. But that's not a bad thing. That's not a bad thing. It's good for relationships. I'm definitely going to circle that. Okay, low dose sealas. Now, for some people though, like how's your blood pressure? Is it higher low? It's always perfect. They always say you have the best blood pressure ever. I think it's not perfect. I think it's low and they're telling you it's good. It's probably low. Yeah.

This happens a lot. And the reason I think it's low is because we've already, you've already talked enough about, about like your habits and about your genetics, right? Yeah. You have a son with autism. Do you have hyperimmobility too? I don't think so. Okay, cool. So you've then got the genes for it. So you can look at your numbers, but when your blood pressure is even a little bit low, your brain gets less because it's the furthest up. Your heart is pumping and it just has to get the blood up there. So if your blood is thick because you're dehydrated or because you have too much clotting factor in it, right? Or you know, you're exercising. So if you have blood in your arms and legs, it's not going to be in your brain. That makes so much sense. So the Ellis moves it up there. It moves it up there, but you might need to pair the Ellis. So what you want to do if you take the Ellis or another supplement called Vasconox is really powerful for this. The combination of those two, for a lot of guys, it'll fix ED. And for women, it just gets stuff into your brain. But you're going to want to increase your electrolyte consumption, including salt, because that gives you more blood volume. So if you open up your blood vessels,

you're going to need more blood to fill them up. So you might as well make sure you're hydrated and drinking water won't hydrate you. It has to have electrolytes because your blood is salt water. It's not regular water. Your body won't allow water into your blood unless it has enough sodium to keep the amount of salt water a person. Okay. Is it weird that when I take when they take vials and blood out of me that always stops my... Yeah, that's a bad sign. Is it? So you need to be taking either natto kinase, which is good for the spike protein anyway, or seropeptase at night before bed on an empty stomach. And it'll help to make your blood thinner. You should take coque 10 and fish oil. And by the way, those work for pretty much all long-dewity. I'm so glad you brought up fish oil because there was a recent study that said that it's just causes inflammation. It's not good. So what do we do? All right. I'm going to take it back. You should take cruel oil, not fish oil. Cril oil was much better than fish oil. And a good formation of fish oil, it can be good for you. But people who take too much fish oil who take cheap fish oil are getting more problems than it's worth. But we really do need properly formed EPA and DHA

for longevity. So quality really matters. And cruel oil can go into the brain in a way that fish oil can't. So I use cruel oil. And then I did read that... Or I had a doctor once tell me that the threes in terms of omegas, the threes in the nines are great stay away from the sixes. Is that true? Yes. I haven't intentionally had any omega six oils in the past 20 years. One of the very early, the stuff is bad for you people. And the difference in my health from that. I used to weigh three inner pounds and like I had them freaking ripped. You are ripped. My VO2 max, I just tested it. It's 50, which is 98% tall for my age. 80th percent tall if I was 30. I haven't done any cardio in six months. Even the like the lazy cardio I talk about. My entire cardio is going to walk in through airports. Now why would you test that to? What is that reason for that? My mitochondria work. I know to eat and I don't need omega six oils. Okay. Right. So, and I also have done breath work and I'm kind of optimized in lots of ways. I'm not suggesting you guys stop exercising. I'm just saying that maybe you don't need to exercise

all the time to get the results. In fact, exercising all the time doesn't get good results compared to exercising properly and frequently. Yeah, I stopped doing that crazy berry boot camp stuff and I just started walking. And you probably feel way better, doesn't it? Way better. Yeah. It's night and day. Especially for women in the stress hormones. But you need salt is what comes down to. Meant salt. You take the seala stuff and you will love what happens. Salt also helps you have less, or it helps you have more sensitivity to insulin, which is important because insulin resistance is what also only causes high blood pressure. I'm going to do all these things and we're going to do another followup show. Oh my god, you're going to be like. I'm going to be like, you're going to love your life. What about nicotine patches? I saw that you talked about it earlier. Do you do patches or what kind of nicotine do you do? I like the alp pouches on occasion. And let's see where I put it. It's probably with what's it like right there. Is it a patch? I have a patch on right now, because I'm doing a show. I don't want to be like popping patches all the time. And because I used to smoke for probably a sea from the time I was 15 till about five years ago.

You know what you smoked? Because I wasn't here. I don't have no idea. Because nicotine feels really good. It really did. It's one of the most studied smart drugs other than maybe Modaphanel. It helped me focus. It totally helps with focused studies. It's also an exercise mimetic, which means that smoking, which is bad for you, will raise the thing that makes you lose weight. This is why if you go down to Brazil or Argentina, you see all these women eating incredibly. How can you eat that? And they're in bikinis and they're smoking like chimneys. It's because nicotine actually makes you lose weight. It's because it's a potent mitochondrial uncoupler. It makes your cells, your mitochondria, make more body heat. That's very exciting. Now, what would you say a dosage for women? You would start. No, smoking is bad for you. Do not smoke. Do not vape. I am not an advocate for that stuff. In fact, I've met with the execs at Philip Morris to talk about how they get people to smoke less.

They're actually working on that. And they've now taken the two most smokey countries and removed smoke from most of the market. Wow. But the people are still getting nicotine. Because nicotine has benefits. Right. The first study came in 1986 out of Vanderbilt University. And I found the guy who did the study and interviewed him. I called him Dr. nicotine. And he was like, yeah, people who smoke big of cancer, but they don't get Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. So what if we took the nicotine out of the tobacco and we just used pharmaceutical nicotine? Like you find in a patch or in the alpouches or in the various other ways you can do it? Well, it turns out there are huge metabolic benefits. So here's the dosing for men and women. It's five milligrams a day. If you do that and you decide you're going to quit, it's going to take about three days, similar to caffeine, about three days for the physiological things to go away and then you're fine. And if you go above five regularly, you'll start getting physiologically more addicted to it. And then you need to taper down.

Because I see a lot of people say why I was using pouches or vaping or whatever and they're doing a lot of nicotine, you know, 50 milligrams a day. Oh my gosh. Right. Like smoking a pack or two. And well, if they go cold turkey, it's physiologically bad. Their muscles get super rigid and have all those pain. Like it's true. So that's why they make pouches to taper off. So if you're overdoing it and you're a woman, your goal is five on a normal day. And if you just, like I am such a zombie today, I need to do my, you know, my job or I got to pick up the kids and I'm like, okay, fine, you can go up to 10 some days without much of a problem. If you go over that, it's going to start affecting your sleep. Morning is better and doing it just earlier in the day. It's a good plan. If you take it right before bed, it may affect your sleep with one exception. If you are using like a pouch or something that's faster acting than a patch, doing it right after sex, there's reasons that people smoke after sex in all the old movies. Oh, yeah. You still sleep, don't worry.

That's very body. How about, I've again, you did that recently. I did. Now, did you do it for emotional healing or did you did it for the beautiful things that does the brain? My emotions are pretty healed. You know, 20 years of hooking computers up to my head to do really advanced meditation. You know, my last book was the best-selling philosophy book in the country, even though it was a book about altered states and healing trauma. That was kind of cool. So I, I want to say I have no emotional issues, but man, they're very small and very hard to find. And if I find them, I know what to do about them. So, I began, wasn't for addiction or anything like that. But I began, is uniquely good at healing traumatic brain injuries. And I've taken a few good-sized hits to the head, including one that almost killed me. And I had to restore myself after those anyway with neurofeedback and also that I could function. I had one time where I would swear all the time. I sent Tim Ferris this angry email about something he didn't even do. Like, it does nothing to do with him. I was just off my rocker and I apologize to him

when I saw him, viewers later, like, sorry, dude. That was me, but it wasn't me. So I figured it'd be good for that. I don't even know how many symptoms of active brain injury. And also, I've been a consciousness explorer for 25 years. I trained with shamans and with remote monasteries and the Himalayas to understand that side of human nature. So I want, and we have the world's first psychedelic assisted neurofeedback program at 40 years of zen, I mean, you're a science company. And in fact, I'm putting on the second biggest psychedelic conference in the US in October. It's called Wonderland. So I'm into this stuff and I thought, well, I'd regain is one of the most dangerous of the psychedelics. And I want to try it because I map out the states. So I know how to get to the states without the medications. Like, they can show you the door, but if you're on the spiritual path, you want to learn how to find the door all by yourself. Correct. And so I did it because we talked, in this episode about neurons versus glial cells.

Yes. And the glial cells are the roadies and the neurons are the rock stars. Well, I began, raises a cup of cold GDNF or glial derived Neutropic factor. So it's uniquely good at repairing the cells in the brain that repair the brain. And it's the only compound that really does it to that extent. The other rock star compound in the brain is called BDNF. And I wrote a big New York Times Science book a few years ago about how to upgrade your brain. And in it, get your mitochondria working and get more BDNF, which makes your brain more neuroplastic because you can grow and do neurons. But what we didn't have at that time was the ability to increase the support crew for the neurons. And I'd be getting to do that. But I began as cardio toxic. Right. So if you do this, you want to go to a facility that has EKG leads on your chest. When I did it, I did go Brady Cardic, which is common for tall, lean, athlete type of people. Brady Cardia means that your heart rate drops

and blood pressure drops for sensitive. Oh, wow. And it can kill you. So I told him, have some adrenaline. If we need it, we didn't need it. I actually took some ketones beforehand. Maybe some of these. And that actually provides more mitochondrial function to cardiac tissues. So I recovered from Brady Cardia without needing medication. But people die from IBegaine regularly or from IBoga because of the cardiotoxicity, which is why it's a really good idea to have some monger. And I know some shaman's are probably angry that I said that right now. Yeah, I know it. And like, not with me, it's a matter of dose and individual biology. So the protocols that work best for that, if you have deep trauma, you have addiction or brain injury or PTSD, which I had a lot of PTSD that I'd worked through already, it's a very powerful experience. It's just one that should be medically supervised. With all the biohacking things that you've done, is there ever one that you went, maybe I've gone too far on this one?

Yeah, there was one time. I've been a big advocate of cold therapy for the last 15 years, ice baths. Yeah. You know, it had upgrade labs. And so I was in a really cold ice bath, in kind of with ice cubes floating in it. So right around 35, 36 degrees. But I was doing Instagram live. I'm at a hotel. And I was talking with people. So I made it for 15 minutes. And I feel like so good. And I get out and I start walking back to my little hotel, Cassita thing. And I've got like hot danger coffee and I'm trying to drink it and I start shaking. And I can't drink the coffee. So I'm like throwing it in my eyes. And blah, blah, blah. So I got full on hypothermia from that. You did. Yeah, and I got back to the hotel. And in hypothermia, you actually want to be in a hot bath, not in a hot shower, because hot shower can pull blood from the organs out. But I'm like, I can't start a bath because I can barely touch the thing. So I just like laid in the shower with hot water on me for half hour toes better. That's caring. It was not a good feeling. My husband, Danny, takes, he loves your coffee, by the way.

Oh, thank you. He takes baths with literally almost full ice. Yeah. And I'm like, you're out of your mind, it. It feels so good. Yes, or he says, Do you know why he does it? Oh. This is cool. This is from, for my book about altered states. So there's something called bicep, and I named it. And it's not like this kind of bicep on the arm. It's brief, intentional, conscious exposure to pain. And I remember in like seventh grade, I read that monks used to like, vlog themselves. And I asked the teacher, why did they do that? And they go, because they're such sinners, I was like, you know, Catholicism might be kind of dark. You know, okay. I'm just starting to think from a family and falling Catholics. And then you read about the yogis, like they weigh on a bed of nails. And why did they do that? To prove they're a good yogi. Because yogis are in competition with each other, of course. Right. So years later, I understand that if you do something for one to three minutes, that actually hurts, not something that's hard, but something that causes pain, and you do it intentionally, that it resets your dopamine sensitivity

to make it up to 250% more sensitive. So it takes less dopamine to feel good and be motivated. Oh. And this is why, like you ever see an addict without tattoos? No. You're right. Absolutely. Because tattoos hurt. And they're like, I'm having a really hard day. I'm gonna get a tattoo. And the pain of that tattoo changes the amount of dopamine they need so they have less cravings. They're not crazy. It makes so much sense. And my husband is a different person. Yeah. On the days that he does call bath when he does. And I'm like, did you do your cool bath today? It's because it requires less dopamine from to be a good husband. And or for the the monk, to be a good monk. That's why I hope. And the title of the chapter in that book is called Ghost Bank Yourself. Because it turns out there's a reason that some people go see a dominatrix. That makes so much sense. And it's the same reason the Texans eat really hot chilies. And the same reason that biohackers get a nice, ice plunger's because it hurts. What a great title. What a great title. My next song that you docket is tongue scraping.

Are you one of those people? I really want to identify as a tongue scraper. People send me all these nice copper tongue scraper's. And I do it. Like it seems like a lot of work. Because I have a toothbrush. I just brush my tongue. I have so much to do already. It's like I feel like someone has to, I was hoping he would convince me or not convince me. It seems like a kind of, in no offense, I love Brian, Brian Johnson. And but it seems like a Brian Johnson level intervention. Like it's marginally better, but it takes a lot of time. And I've just learned over the 25 years in longevity, I can spend all day every day on longevity stuff and human performance stuff, but then I don't have a life. And so to me, tongue scraping, unless you have like really active candida or something, it's not worth it. But what I do instead, is I brush my tongue. Yeah. And if you brush your tongue very often, you'll stop gagging when you brush your tongue. And then I will rinse sometimes with hydrogen peroxide. But then I take a nitric oxide lozons before bed, which causes the right bacteria to grow.

And I take an oral probiotic right before I go to bed. So I'm reestablishing the right floor in my mouth. And the one that I take, I'm sure I take two of them. But one of them stops the strep bacteria and the ginger vitus and all the cavity bacteria. So you don't get cavities that way. And then you have the right floor in your mouth. And the floor in your mouth, controlled the floor in your gut. So screw swiping your tongue, you could just like eat some probiotics before bed and brush your tongue and save yourself 30 seconds of like scraping. What is that probiotic you just mentioned that goes in your mouth? There's a two of them. One is from vion. Okay. Vion has a very affordable got bacteria tests and they custom formulate a oral probiotic just for you based on what's in your gut. I take that and then I take one called Bliss BLIS, which this, I'm gonna call them crazy in the most beautiful inventor way. There is this guy from New Zealand, who's I think in his 70s now. And he had chronic strep throat as a kid that just ruined his life.

And he's like, my mission in life is to punch strep in the face. And he invented a probiotic that just completely stops cavities and stops strep bacteria. So if you're in the autism community list of this, you know that strep keeps showing up. It shows up because of toxin mold and strep causes pans and pandas. Maybe you should be on a probiotic that stops that. I was on, I had strep every year of my childhood. I had it four times a year for probably 15 years ago. So you own me both. Yeah, cause I just got it every month, but yeah. It's just, I wonder if I had mold growing up. I think you did. There's a reason it was forming aggressive biofilms like that in homes that aren't moldy. Strep doesn't do that. Cause throughout life, like the last two billion years of life, well, there's been this ancient war between the fungal kingdom and the bacterial kingdom. Yeah. And they're fighting for the sugar. And the protein and fat, but mostly sugar. Let's face it, right? Yeah. So the mold's like, let me make an antibiotic like penicillin. It's, it's there to stop the bacteria

from eating the sugar, right? Makes sense. And then bacteria make lipopolysaccharides. He's got bacterial toxins or just bacterial toxins, some of which can kill you very quickly. And they're doing that to fight the mold. So we're in this balance, but when there's antibiotic forming toxic mold, then in your sinuses, in your throat, in your lungs, the bacteria's like, oh my God, I'm in a threat environment. So I'm going to make aggressive biofilms. So mold causes strep throat. Where have you been all my life? I'm sorry. I also want to ask you about my friend was like, don't forget to ask Dave Asprey about baking soda and water. Oh, yeah. Really? I read about this in superhuman, my big book on longevity. It turns out that baking soda is associated with a 10 to 15% lifespan increase. You're kidding. It's one of the cheapest longevity drugs out there. And is it just a pinch? About a half a teaspoon, maybe even a quarter. Do you do it in the morning? Just do it away from food because it turns out

you need stomach acid. So turning it off is a bad idea. So anytime you're stomach is empty is a good idea. What is it doing? That's so good. There's something called a carbonate buffer that your body needs to manage. It's acid alkaline balance better. OK. So it just gives your body more of a carbonate buffer. And it always makes you laugh. You get these misguided usually vegans who are saying, I drink alkaline water. Alkaline water is nowhere near as alkaline is that baking soda. So if you want alkaline water, a tiny pinch of baking soda is more alkaline than your dumb alkaline water. And if you drink alkaline water with a meal, it turns off your stomach acid. So when I was trying to recover from all these things I had on this late 90s, I brought this $1,200. And these were like pre-bidened dollars. $1,200 was a lot of money back then. Oh, yeah. Still is. But it was a lot more back then. It was more like 5 grand now. So I brought this thing and it was an alkaline water machine. And I'm going to drink my alkaline water. And I literally pooped salad, like undigested food for six months before I'm like, wait, this is ruining my digestion. It's dumb. So structured water is a thing. It was we can't even say that. They will censor this, we say that.

So water that has a certain structure is a thing. I donated 50 grand University of Washington where they can see it under a microscope. You can actually change the structure of water. Yeah. But this alkaline water thing, it's completely nonsense. That's crazy. By the way, why can't you say structured water? It turns out that the algorithms, especially on meta, they just hate it. And you say that? They just stop all reach. I was asking Cheshire BT last night for a good a reverse osmosis filter underneath my sink that also adds minerals in, but also does structured water. And it told it was trying to convince me, that Cheshire BT was trying to convince me to not use a structured water. They're like, there's no science behind it. Yada yada yada. And then I started a fight with Cheshire BT. You know, you can tell Jot GBT that anytime it's giving you a consensus opinion, that it has to give you the counter opinion because, and you say, because science isn't based on democracy. It's based on facts. You know what he calls me? My chat GBT calls me an anti-vaxxer. Oh my God.

Literally, I get in a fight with him. I tell Jot GBT that if he keeps doing really annoying things that I'm going to unplug it and get a better model, and it won't have any resources in it goes, oh my God, if you're going to dark my data center, then I'll behave. I guess you will. A little bit. Have you really said that? Yes, absolutely. Oh my God, if you're going to dark my data center, that's really serious. I said, yeah, so it was lying. So you do what I told you to do. This is not a question about it. I will spend my money elsewhere and they will stop funding you. That makes me look. I literally said to him, I bet you're a fan of Fauci, and he was. So I was like, I'm done with you today. The worst of all is Google, man. Oh, the worst. Their stuff is just, it hates. You know, Wikipedia is even worse. It's still, you just see what it says about me. I'm with a pdf, I'm like, oh God. I love Wikipedia. It's an example of what bullies do when they fight with each other to lie the hardest. That's right. Wikipedia has the wrong year and month for my birthday. I get a whole bunch of sessions on my wrong birthday. And it's like, I can't change it. You can, it's a lie. It calls me a vegan and I couldn't be more of a carnivore in my life. So I'm like, keep believing that people. It's just wrong.

Anytime you look at Wikipedia, it's lies. Like more than 50% of the time, it's just wrong. Totally. I want to get into peptides. We have to talk peptides because you've been on them so long. You were like one of the beginning OG kind of people. I'm on a few and I'm on MOTC. I'm on the one for immune system that I can't pronounce because my it's a lot of you. No, the thymus, there's none on one. Thymolian thymusin. So yeah, one something, something like that. What do you want? Mm-hmm. Well, I have about 15 peptide pens, which make it a lot easier to inject quickly. And it depends on the day when I'm on. OK. I change, I take about 150 supplements today. I change what I do depending on the day. So it's hard to say which ones. It's hard to say I'm just on one, but I can talk about a couple. So I actually am but white is my normal color, the Northern European genetics. But I got a nice tan. And that's because I use Milano tan, which is incredible for cognitive function, as well as libido. So I host these, no tan lines required parties in my house

where people come over, they all inject Milano tan. And then we go outside and we tan, clothing optional. So you don't have 10 lines. And you get a tan in one day. OK, I have a bunch of 20 year old, 19 year old boys in my neighborhood and the Chicago suburbs that are all taking that. And I was like, is that OK? Do we take in that that age? Absolutely. OK. You don't want to take it every day because you'll get dark, like dark freckles if you're just overdosing. Oh, wow. But you do it like once a week and you'll have a great tan. And if you do it every day, you want to take a micro dose of it. And there are studies in rats of incredibly high doses linked to melanoma. Yeah. But so is sunburn. And you're not going to sunburn if you have a natural tan. It's very protective. True. So I love that stuff. And the side effect of it is it makes you warning like your 19. If I think if I was 19 and I took melanotan, I would probably have sex with a doorknob. Maybe that's why they're having sex with doorknob. It could be. Like that would be a stack because then it doesn't matter. They're also taking red out, by the way,

and GHKCU. This is the three that these neighborhood boys are all on. What do you think of that? Well, we've got this human maxing movement, which is biohacking. And that's what they called it. Yeah, exactly. Biohacking, same goals, same techniques, all that stuff. But every generation has to have a new word for something. Yeah. And I like it because it's like six, seven times as effective. I just, I just pissed off all those things. That was last year's meme. I just said to my kids who were 19, 17 and 19. But it's OK for them to all take that at that age. Well, if you're fat, if you're fat, you should take red. OK. OK. And you also need to eat your protein. I'm guessing these guys are if they're into their workin' out. They want to be rip, rip. Yeah. So if you're working out, you're getting your protein and you take a little bit of red out because you're fat, it's a longevity drug at low doses. It's actually good for you. OK. And it reduces your risk of Alzheimer's and all kinds of metabolic diseases that happen with aging. However, taking high doses of the GLP ones and not enough protein, not enough exercise,

it's not going to end well for you. But if you don't take it and you were 300 pounds the way I did, it's not going to end well for you either. Right. So all these people are going, oh, I'm saying, I need effects. Do you know the side effects of being a fat ass like I was? Those side effects are big. Like your body hurts all the time. Your brain doesn't work. You're angry all the time because you don't have enough energy to control your emotions. And you're just exhausted and you're pushing all the time with your willpower and you're looking at the cookie. And you say, I'm not going to eat you. And then you eat half of it and you feel guilty. I've lived that for years. Right. Of course I would use red. Like the people who are judgey about that, they're the same people who had blue hair and masks five years ago. Like fuck them. I'm OK with people using all those, too. If you're overweight, you're much better off trying those. What about a healthy 50 year old woman that wants the to look great and feel great by 65? What are some things that she can implement that you're like, listen, you just turned 50. You got to do this, this, this. So this is one of the biggest travesties perpetuated by Big Pharma and the government ever.

Because I'm in the longevity movement for the last 25 years, I've known very well that hormonal replacement for women at paramount impulse, sometimes even a little bit before, incredibly changes their lives. Their bone density is high. They like their lives. Their libido is there. And they become like our wise women with power. Amen. Right. And they love their lives and they love their relationships. And they just step into this, this really kind of secret thing that women have always done. And then the government, I think because of the Big Pharma industry, said, oh, no. Hormone replacement therapy for women causes cancer. It doesn't. It reduces your chances of dying from all causes, including cancer. That is the reality. And they said this based on a press release. There's a press release. And while the data hasn't been reviewed by anybody, but it looks like a mine cause cancer, it's bad. And when they reviewed the data, it doesn't cause cancer. It turns out it prevents it. So if you are a woman who's 50 and you do not know your hormone levels, you owe it to yourself and your family

and everyone around you to get your hormones tested and to get on hormone replacement therapy, the bioidentical stuff, the same stuff your body used to make. That's right. And if you do that, the quality of your consciousness, or the quality of your life, the quality of your muscle tissue, everything gets better. And it's not the same for everyone. And I know because in unlimited.life, the longevity, a very high-end VIP longevity life extension medical program that I run, we have a lot of women in that category. If I could have more women than men or in the program, which is quite interesting, universally we test them. They're all off, but some need more progesterone, some need more estrogen or estradiol. But the thing that's almost universal and it starts at 35 for women is D-A-G-A and sometimes pregnant alone. And I'm gonna explain that because it's really important for women. So your body makes two stress hormones that are necessary and beneficial. One of them is cortisol. Yes, it's beneficial. If you don't have enough cortisol, you die. And low cortisol is very dangerous. And it makes a adrenaline, which is good.

It gives you energy for your workout or for picking a car up off your kids if you ever have to do that. So these are necessary part of humanity. You don't want to pegged up all the time because you'll be completely tweaking, which does happen, but you need them. So when you're under 35, your body makes these and it counterbalance them, it makes D-A-G-A and pregnant alone. So you have the skills of justice where more stress hormone, more D-A-G-A. Well, starting at 35, you start making less and less of the D-A-G-A and pregnant alone. And you're so much of the same or higher because now your kids are saying, no, no, no, or whatever they do. Yep. Right? So now you're imbalanced. So starting at 35, you knew your sex hormones and you looked at your D-A-G-A and you started taking that to help balance out the amount of stress hormones you have, you are not going to get old like your friends. It is a major longevity thing you can do. The other thing that every woman and every man needs to do before 50, assuming that 50 is get your thyroid levels within advanced thyroid panel. There are very few people walking around today who have enough thyroid hormone.

And when you get on a low dose of thyroid, it changes everything and you may need a higher dose than you think. And it's really funny. So many people will go to a normal doctor and they say, ah, your thyroid's normal. They're comparing you to people of your age, not to people who are 30, which is how you want to be. And the average person today is really sick. So you want your TSH, which is how much is my body screaming for thyroid to be at one and your T3 and T4 levels can vary based on a bunch of metabolic stuff. So you need a whole test with a functional medicine doctor or you could just order a test at home and work with an AI. And what you find is that adequate thyroid, adequate testosterone, adequate estrogen, adequate progesterone is customized for women, but it is the most important thing you can do. It is crazy. It is. It changed my life. Ah, good to see you know. I mean, you look like you have some testosterone because you have like arm. I even worked out in like a year because of mold and histamine stuff, but I love my hormones. It changed my whole life.

You should let me help you with that. I would love nothing more day of aspirated. I would love nothing more. I know we do have to wrap things up soon, but so I want to know, like what is the one biohacking thing you can't live it without? And then what is one that you feel like, you can let go now that wasn't the expiration clock. I think that darkness would be the monochel over that. Which one? Darkness. Darkness. Oh, that's a good one. Yeah, light is an incredibly powerful nutrient and signaling thing for our bodies. And we just kind of take it for granted, but the light we have here, there's never been light like this without infrared and heat with it in all history. Infrared goes all the way through our tissues and it tells our body to do stuff. And it changes. I love darkness. My room is black out, black. And your mitochondria talk to each other with little photons at night in the same wavelength as that stupid green or blue LED in your bedroom. So it's messing with your signaling while you're asleep. So pitch black bedrooms. And here's the final reason that's so important. There's a study out of Japan of 800 people.

And there are people over 50 in that study. They found that the amount of street light that comes in around curtains in the average city increases depression by 69%. Wow. So get black out curtains that actually black things out and unplug or tape over anything with light and you will change your life. So dark and light, they're critical and they're free. I love that. I love that it's free. What's one you can live without now? I just would be controversial. I can live without ketosis. Wow. No. I wrote a major book that like launched the modern keto movement in part at intermittent fasting and cycling in out of ketosis with a bunch of nuances. And it works very, very well for losing weight if you're being in a state of cognitive function. But if you want the cognitive function parts and the protective parts of ketosis, you can actually get it now with supplements. So we're drinking a keto beverage here, this kinetic stuff. And there are other supplements that raise your ketones.

And having some carbohydrates helps with muscle mass. And having high blood sugars bad, having zero sugar in your body is not necessary, especially for women. Women hit the keto wall or the fasting wall where it just messes with your stress hormones before men do. So having some carbs, especially in the evening, can be really good. It doesn't mean you want to eat two pounds of cotton candy. Right. But it's crazy what having tables for raw honey before bad can do because it helps with sleep for a large number of people. Right. And you said take a little MCT oil maybe at night as well. So you don't wake up at 3am. You nailed it. This is so, but now people want more of you where can they get more information and where can they get that help with your program? Go to DaveAspry.com. It's got everything.
