A lot of, and a lot of the thos and some jail and her stuff's coming. 2-1-5-5-9-2-9-4-9-4. Ray Dittinger is gonna join us in the new hour today. Hey, hey. Can't wait to talk to Ray about the state of the team. Elliott later on. We start though with a simple one. Are the Eagles locked to make the playoffs?

Yes. I, for the first time in five years, I don't feel they are. I, I think Kyle framed it well. Like, would you bet on them to make it? Yes. You look on Calshire right now. It's about a 60-40 yes that they will make the playoffs. Shout out to Calshire. But that's, you know, to me it's probably closer to 55-45. I, I think this is gonna be one of those years where it goes down to the final week of the season. Possibly for the division, possibly for a wildcard. I, I don't think they're a lock. I, I think their floor has changed without AJ Brown. Who will watch tonight for the first time in a different uniform? Let's hear Ron Jaworski before we go to the phone lines here on the state of the team. And the division, which has certainly changed a lot in the last couple years. Here's Charles with the morning show. Well, first of all, I, I think the NFC East is gonna be a lot tougher this year. I don't, I'm not seeing pigeons per se as I like to say when the Eagles have downed. So I think it's gonna be a little bit tougher within the division. We'll talk about that down the road, Joe. I think it'll make it a little bit tougher. And I got the Eagles winning 10 games. 10 games. And let me ask you this, which team do you think gives the Eagles the biggest threat in the division? But there are no doubt I hate to say it to Dallas Cowboys. Are they very good?

They reap, they're all pages good as any in football. Talent perspective, very, very good. The defense, as obviously had a, had a meltdown last year lost a lot of their players, but I think they've restructured their defense. They will be a lot better this year. I think they'll be the team that will challenge Eagles this season. Hugh, if Joseph's correct on his prediction there of the win total, that's, that's not a lock. I mean, 10 wins. Yeah, you need at least three more of those things. Wow. If you want to, you know, I don't know about three. Well, I'm, I'm 13. 11 makes the playoffs. I'm talking about, I'm talking about 13 to be dominant to be a team. Yeah, no, I understand dominance. I'm just saying to make the playoffs. I think 11 feels like the number. If you win 11 games with seven playoff spots, you're probably going to make the playoffs. Yeah, and you got to like that game against the Cowboys, man. Those games against the Cowboys, they're going to probably going to be the crucial wars. Because the Giants are going to be formidable. I don't, I don't, I don't buy it. You know, I think the Giants are going to be far. I think the Giants are going to be better coach, Joe. Well, well, I mean, they can't be worse coached. Well, well, yeah, yeah. But you know, with that, the, the grip and the, um,

the coachability that they're going to display, I think that's going to be harder to beat them because when I think of the Giants, I think of mistakes that were made in crucial games that they lost. They lost a lot of crucial games by mistakes. Yeah. They were a four win team last year. I think they're seven or eight wins. Okay. But you can say formidable. You think they're a playoff contender? No, I'm just saying they're going to, when I say formidable, I don't think they're going to be a cakewalk. That's why I agree with you on that. I just might issue with them as I think they're quarterback and suspect. Well, he's kind of a dummy. I mean, isn't he the way he runs into the walls and he gets hurt all the time in the blue 10? I just, I don't, I don't, I don't, dummy, dummy strong. Well, I mean, he plays like a dummy to me, to me, to me that Dallas is foreign away the threatened division. The Giants, yeah, no question. It will be better. The commanders probably going to be the worst team in the division. And I think that's a nice soft landing for us in week one. But the Cowboys are in. I mean, that's the team I look at and say, hmm, you know, if they, if their defense jumps a middle of the pack, all of a sudden things become challenging in the division. You know, I'm looking last year just as quickly at the standings. If anyone missed the playoffs with 11 wins, I think if you win 11 games in the, in the,

in the era of seven teams that make the playoffs and each conference, you're in the playoffs. 10 feels like that might be right on the outside looking at. You're right there. And if jaws is right, then I think they're right on the bubble. 215, 592, 94, 94, let's go to Clendell, who's up on W.I. Clendell. Good morning, Clendell. Well, so what's up is Clendell again. I remember you guys, you know, it's just mad at me because I called Jalen a top five quarter back in the league. But I was, I was a mad Clendell. I just, you know, I just agree. Yeah, I never mad Clendell. I mean, you and you and your guy in the bed just called me an idiot the whole time. But I didn't know. That's not something I would do at all. I did not call you an idiot, Clendell. I definitely did not call you an idiot. I would never do that. Now that was human maybe. Maybe you probably that is not the language that I choose to use. Go ahead, Clendell. Yeah, but but again, no other top five quarter back in the league is getting picked to miss the playoffs. Well, maybe that tells you that it's not a top five quarterback. Have you thought about that?

Because he's not gunna, but listen, he has made the playoffs every year that he started the season to the end. Him and Sireonnie, they don't miss the playoffs. No matter if they win in the vision or not, they don't miss the playoffs. It's never down to the wire situation with them. Oh, other didn't the first year what a team wasn't that good. Yeah, but I think this is more of the playoffs. His score is the playoffs. Not I don't agree with that. I think the first year, Clendell, I think this year could be similar to that one. I don't think they're going to start off bad like that year, but I think 9, 10, right on the bubble. That could happen this season. Yeah, but Jalen hurts with his new offense. The way that they doing this new zone run scheme. I think it's going to really help him. It's going to open up a lot of things for him. He doesn't have a guy crying in his ear every other game complaining about targets. So he's going to be able to spread the ball around play point guard. What he usually do, he's used the plan with talent. And now that you're giving him a scheme that's going to help him also get guys open,

he's just going to will and deal. I think that Jalen hurts will have the MVP type season this year. MVP, you know, and like of the league of the league. Of the league, yes, the league. No, the fantasy league. No, I'm just wondering what league. I just want to say NFL of the NFL. Okay, he's going to get more credit this year because more credit. He's not going to have AJ Brown. So they're going to say, you know, had a dead weight. So Clendell, I'm not going to say, oh, super team is. Talk to me. So Clendell, I like the idea of it not AJ not being in his ear and him just to sherman the ball, but there's also lesser talent at wide receiver. Like those two things kind of counteract each other. Yeah, but at the same time, you heard me with the yeah, but you had it with the yeah, but when you, when you were quarter back and you had to deal with that type of situation for a good majority and you was able to still win. Now that you're free and clear, and you know that the people beside you actually are all in fighting for the same mission instead of stats.

You know guys play for each other more and guys want to make plays for each other more. And Jalen, this offseason, you know, he's been standoffice, but this year you've seen a lot of him with all his past catchers going out on his scurs and stuff like that. I think they're going to they're going to really fight for Jalen this year. They're going to show up for him this year. Other than didn't how I was last year, but it was a mutiny in an offer room. Well, that's true. That's true. I mean, I, you, Clendella, you're right on that. And I do think there's going to be a better vibe around there. It is. I mean, you kind of felt that training camp play for you. Yeah. And look, I think that I think there is a benefit to A.J. not being here from that perspective with Jalen. Clendella, good phone guy. I agree. I mean, he, his point is well taken. I agree with it. I think Jalen can play freer and just go through his reads and hit the open guy. The only thing is like, is the open guy good? Is the open guy going to make the catch? Is the open guy going to make the catch and run for 20 or not? Right? Like that guy used to be A.J. Yeah. And now that guy is Dave Youngwicks. So I think is, is solid and an interesting trade. And I like the trade. It's my Kai Lemon who we don't know.

It's Darius Cooper who's a wonderful camp story. Yeah, he came up and played. He had a hell of a camp. No question. But again, it's too great camps. We got to see him doing in the regular season. It's Hollywood Brown who probably was, you know, last good two years ago, three years ago. So I think there is something to this year that Jalen could play freer. But will those guys make plays for him? The way A.J. did. Yeah. I feel like it's going to be by committee, you know, and it's probably going to be week to week thing where somebody's going to step up every other week or every week I should say and it'd be a different guy. But that all depends on how the quarterback sees everything, man. And what position they put him in to be successful. What I believe they can do it. I definitely believe they can do it. I'm just trying to find the path to dominance. And then the defense is it, right? The defense? Yeah, that's, that's, okay. That's probably the way you see it. Most people see it. You know, playing it close to the best into this offense, you know, spreads his wings if you will and finds his footing. I think you're going to have to rely heavily on the defense. The defense is going to have to carry a lot of water

first couple of, a couple weeks of the season. Did it feel like we're putting a little bit too much on the defense staff? Can I, can I say this when it comes to that? It feels like a lot to ask. Can I, can I, can I say this when it comes to that as a former defender? You love moments like that because all season long, you talk, the offense has been talked about, right? Sure. The offense has been the, the, the offense is always the key to everything when you're talking about football and what people want to focus, focus on. I can tell you as a defender, it, there's times where it feels a little disrespectful. You know what I mean? Especially when you're talking about a team with a really, really good defense, there's some really, really good defenders. I remember, we're in a, I forgot what playoff run we are, but Donovan went down. Then we had, uh, Koi was playing quarterback. Was it okay? I think it probably wasn't. Then AJ Philly was playing quarterback. Was it okay? Bottom line is, I remember vividly how Joe Banner was sitting in their crime and I might be a little bit hyperbolic when I say it was crime, but I remember him.

This is a good hyperbolic story. Well, but I remember when he was in there and he was like, oh my god, what are we going to do? You said, you said AJ was just as good, no, Koi was playing. He said, you said, Koi was just a good, as Donovan did it, like he is having a meltdown, right? He is melting down. And I remember sitting there and I was a little petered and I was like, oh, we got this. Don't worry about it. We got that. And as a defender, I would think that those young cats are feeling the same thing. They know that that offense is a working progress. They're optimistic about what it's going to be, but at the same time. Heading back to campus, time to upgrade your entire text setup. You know, when you look at the defense side of the ball, hey man, we got you until you get to you get right. Yeah, well, and I think the first couple games of the season, that should be fine. I got to look, the commanders are not a very good.

And you'll be okay, Walgdon. Well, no, I'm. And you'll be no, because when you talk about playing them right. Are you worried about the commanders game? No, no, no, I'm talking about. Oh, the commanders is a warm up in my mind. Whoa. Yeah, that's a warm up. That's a warm up. That's a lock. No, are you guaranteeing a victory on fun stuff? Can you allow me to gather my phone? You just give me like two seconds. Just sound like a guaranteed. You know what, I hate you and Kyle. See, this what happens. Sound like a guaranteed on a Wednesday. I hate both of you guys. No, I was trying to formulate my thoughts. I feel like the commanders are not up to par yet. They're not up, they're not on schedule yet. You don't want to say that word though, out loud. A guaranteed. That's too early. Give me a couple days. Oh, okay. All right. I got other fish from. I'm focusing on this down with Brown game tonight. You're focusing on the Seattle New England games tonight. I'm focusing on the down of Brown. I need you to stop because you're on the flip.

What you mean? Who would you mean? You're a problem, Douglas. What you mean? I'm just saying. No, Brown. Let's say it. Say it. Say it. Say it. Say it with just. Just bringing it. You know what? That's a free adult in the world. Ed and Phoenix. Ed and Phoenix will an adult on the end of the stop you. Ed, what's up? Hey, what's up, Joe? What's up, you? What's going on over? Before I get to my Eagles point, I would like to suggest that way too late last place punishment for you, Douglas. What is it? Every bet that he makes needs to be for at least five to $10. No less. Oh, well, that would hurt him in the while. When you talk about, when you talk about, well, we want you to join LaGronaups when you bet on the NFL. $2 bets. It's a good punishment. If you finish in last place, you got a bet, five or ten bucks on a bet. Come on, Hugh. That's a risk. Well, then maybe work on your team, which is projected clearly in last place. It's a risk. That's not my concern.

That's what you call it. Now your name is on the team. No, that's Emily's team. Oh, no. No, that's Emily's team. Change the name in the app then. Okay, to Emily. Emily's squad. Just to do it. That's the Emily. Yeah, just to Emily's squad. Change the Emily's squad. I'm not doing that for you. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Emily's crusaders. You don't name a change that. Emily crusaders. There's no, there's no alliteration there. Where's the crusader? What is that? Oh, we got it. We got everything has to be a iteration. At WIP, yeah. That's what we do. Arca, go ahead. Yeah, think about it. Yeah, so on the menu. I'm more on your side, Joe. I'm feeling a little tentative about our playoff chances this year. Obviously, a lot of it hinges on the progress of the offense. But I do want to share it like reasons for optimism, at least in the first four weeks. And tie-start defense and our edge rushers. I'm going to read you the tackle pairings of our first four opponents and tell me if any of them scare you. Why should 10 Brandon Coleman, Josh Connerley? David Moore, JC Latham on Tennessee. Nope.

Braxton Jones, Darnell Wright on Chicago. Granted, Darnell Wright was a second T-Malper last year. Yeah, right. It's good. But yeah, the left tackle is not great. Okay, so not on that scared any. And for as good as the Rams are, their tackles may be the worst of a lot. A lot of Jackson and Warren, the Clinton. So yeah, and by the way, Jackson's in some trouble. I don't think he's on the commissioner's exemplest, but he had a, I think it may have been domestic issue in the office yet. So I don't know if he's going to be suspended. So he, they may even have their backup ed, because depending on whatever happens with him. So you're, that's a great point. I mean, this should be an early opportunity for Jelix Hunt to feast early this season. Yeah, and I think the biggest, and even as better, the Cowboys have really improved a lot of areas. They can still be run on. I mean, yeah, they're, they're the biggest threat in terms of Quinten Williams and who's the other guy Kenny Clark. But with that zone run scheme, I'd be in should just,

like they're not, they're not Chris Jones. They're not, you know, they're not game records. They're good players. But so I think they're biggest threat, I mean, the biggest threat with the Cowboys is going to be their edge rushers, which could be a problem. But as long as Jelix gets the ball out nice and quick, which we all expect him to do, wink, wink. It shouldn't be a problem. Yeah, well, I think it's a great, it's a great point on the, on the tackles though. I mean, because we need the defense of Careers early and Ed, you're right. I mean, I, when I think about the game this just this weekend against the commanders, the reason Eagles are going to win this game is they should dominate that command, that commander's offensive line. I mean, Carter and Davis and Ojomo and, and, and they should put pressure on the quarterback and Nolan, they should be in the backfield all day. They should put pressure on the quarterback. Yeah, I'm saying like seven or eight facts. I mean, they made seven, yeah, that's the game. They'll clear out the game, but, yeah, I bet $5 on it. If you have about that, you know what, that's a confident bet. Here you put in five on the Eagles on Sunday, Ed. Good phone call. That out of bed now. I'm not doing that now. A little rich for your blood.

I'm loaded to my shoes. Too much. I think you got my toe in that gold, Jel. I got my toe in that thing before I, you know, start betting, betting on Willie Milley. Yeah. Seven sacks is for the first game of the season. Seven sacks feels a little rich. Yeah, that's heavy. That's heavy. Especially because Daniels can run, and he'll get away from some of them. But I do think that is, it's a good point by Ed. I mean, the defense is going to have to be the driving force early with that question. And the real thing is how quickly will the offense catch up and will it? I mean, there's just an expectation the offense is going to be good eventually. I don't know. I mean, here I don't know how good the offense is going to be. I think it will end up better than last year, because I don't know how you get worse than the worst three and outrate in the NFL. But yeah, is it is it is it is it often by the end? Yeah, it can't it can't look no worse than it did last year, man. And I know that that people say, you know, I always talk about it wasn't that bad, but it has to be more efficient. And you look for I think I think it's important, especially early on. It's to look for small, small wins when it comes to this offense.

Getting in and out of Huddl. Oh, hold on. No way. Can I get from in and out of the huddl? This is pro football. Before you jump all over me, Joe. Yeah. Procedural things have to be button up. In the first preseason game, it wasn't like that. And that wasn't even the starter. So I didn't mean to jump on you for your take, but no, but if they have trouble getting in at the huddl, it's on Cereani because he chose not to play the starters in the preseason. Well, he's responsible. Yeah, I mean, they come out Sunday. I don't want to hear it's the first game. I'm going to do it like if they have incompletions or a turnover because they're not in the right spot, I'll live with that. Do you know what I think I cannot live with? Hey, we didn't get into the huddl fast enough because we didn't have enough time. They didn't it's not going to be that Joe, but it's probably going to be I'm assuming. And this is just me assuming that they're going to be certain personnel groupings that they're probably going to want to run out there. Yeah, they're going to want to try to confuse this commander's defense as much as they possibly can. So when I say the procedures and getting in and out of the huddl,

that could be somebody doesn't know that they're in a special grouping or whatever. I'm acceptable. I mean, you're right. You're I'm not I'm not arguing that. But that's what I mean when I say proceed. 21 teams have new offensive coordinators. So so if everyone is in the same boat, then that's not an excuse anymore. The commanders have a new offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator. So to me, like if everyone is new, then that doesn't that doesn't work. Like so everyone should have procedural issues. It just cancels out, doesn't it? Well, some people some people might be more buttoned up than others. And some people might not have as many personnel groupings as Eagles potentially might have that. I'm guessing that one. I'm guessing. I'm guessing. I'm guessing. I hear you. I hear you. I'm just saying that that is an excuse. Like it's one thing to make a physical error on the field. Right? Like, someone's playing with a whole new group of receivers other than Vonte. I expect that. There's probably going to be some timing issues. He might throw it and he thinks the wicks can catch it at this point. And maybe they just a little off. Like that will come together over time playing together. But the idea that they will have.

Wonderful. You know what, Hugh? Yes. This what happens. But they don't like your take. They just cut us off here. They pull the plug right out. All right, 215-592-94-95. We're a lot to discuss here. Coming up on the other side. We got a football game tonight, Hugh Douglas. That was a first-ball game with someone we know very well. AJ Brown's debut for the New England Patriots. Are we rooting against AJ tonight? Clearly. And I can't imagine anyone be rooting for him. I'm rooting heavily against him. Somebody own the fantasy football scene, Rufan. That's it, Joe. Actually, I did hear it to Cameron this morning. Say he's rooting for him. Whatever the hell that is. Are 215-592-954-954 live at McGurks and Roarsford. The rally in Roarsford on sports radio, 94-WIP. Hey, everybody. It's tailgate season. And by now, you know my favorite thing to bring in any tailgate. It's about the Jack Daniels Tennessee whiskey. I can bring that honey that fire that apple or the new blackberry. Spice of your tailgate with one of the Jack Daniels flavors. Jack Daniels, honey, brings a real honey sweetness. Sometimes mixing fire and whiskey is a good thing.

With Jack Daniels fire with real sentiment flavor. Jack Daniels apple is perfect for all fall events with hints of Chris Green apple and a smooth, fresh, and filling. And finally, the blackberry. We're here today as was the morning show with the great job today. Had some great guests. We're going to have Ray did a drum with us live in person at noon today. Ellie will join us after Eagles practice with Eagles practice in this afternoon. After Siri, Johnny speaks, Ellie will be on this afternoon at one o'clock. So a lot to discuss. And Hugh, not only are we talking about the Eagles and are they all locked to make the playoffs, but the season starts tonight. Tonight. We start on Sunday. We'll have a good game show and the Eagles start on Sunday. But the NFL starts tonight on a Wednesday, which of course, the ML, those things you can give anywhere they can. We get the rematch of the sort of bowl last year, the Seahawks and the Patriots. But Hugh, of course, is a twist this time. We have AJ Brown no longer an eagle this time, a new England Patriot. And let me just. He's in heaven. Well, good for him. That's wonderful. Let me just say this. I can't wait to watch and root against AJ Brown tonight. Every time he goes up for a pass, I hope he drops it. I hope he gets it hard. I hope the ball is knocked out of his hand. I hope he plays so poorly, because I want the Eagles to win this deal.

Not just a little bit, but by a lot. And I do think. I do think look, he's going to be motivated. He'll probably have highly motivated. Yeah, and that's wonderful. I and I think he'll probably have a little bit of a better year this year than last year. He don't ball. But I don't know about that. We'll see. I think we don't know. We'll see. He don't probably ball tonight. Maybe. He's going up against one of the best defense in pro football. I just hope he fails. I'm rooting against him. He'll what you're taking. I feel like you're rooting again. You're rooting for him over there. No, I don't know. I don't get a sense here. You're all in on AJ. I'm rooting for chaos. What's that mean? That means I'm going to go. I'm going to find me a downward brown watch party. And I'm going to sit back and I'm going to watch all the people hate have hated this thing. What about your hate for a man that is probably going to ball out tonight? I don't like this. What do you mean? I don't like the he's probably going to ball out. He probably is. So what is some nonsense like why are you laughing at that? No, I'm laughing. Screw him. Like listen, this is the reality of the situation. The man is motivated, right? Why was he motivated last year? This is because he's a loser. OK, OK, I understand.

I understand how you feel. I acknowledge your feelings, but I'm just telling you. I just don't like the laughter. No, I'm just laughing because I think he going ball out tonight. That makes a mockery the Eagles. It does not make a mockery the Eagles. Absolutely does. It does not. It just shows that this young man was motivated. And it's going to be something else for us to talk about. If he if he balls out tonight in this year, it is he's made a mockery of the Eagles. No, because that was in and last year. Why didn't he do it last year? Let me tell you because he because he's kind of told you why he if he does it tonight, you kind of already know why he didn't do it. Right. Perfectly. See here's the here's the reality of what's going to happen tonight. And keep in mind that tonight is not the end of this chapter. Sure, it's the first part of it. It's the first part of this chapter. Keep in mind what I'm about to say because I'm pretty sure what I'm about to say is going to trigger some of y'all. It's going to trigger most of y'all. It's probably going to trigger all y'all. But he's going to ball out tonight because Drake May is going to feed him excessively.

He's going to feed this man to football. He's going to get this man to football. And that's all the conversation. The narrative tonight is going to be Drake May and AJ Brown hooking up. And as Eagles fans, even though that's the narrative, we're going to feel some kind of way because for us, it's inadvertently taking shots that Jaylen hurts. Well, it's beyond say this is to me is beyond hurts. It's about the Eagles and the other me just this about the quarterback. Well, but it's but he didn't just quit on the quarterback. He quit on the franchise. He quit on the fan base. If he so I need him to fail for two reasons. One, I don't want him to succeed. But two, my belief is last year was a combination of him acting a certain way. And also I think he's lost a step. If if I'm wrong on the second part and he has not lost a step, then the only explanation for last season was he chose to tank. And if that's the case, it is a slap in the face to every one of us on every one of us here. It's a slap in the face because if he has that in him left,

just like it was a slap in the face what Randy monster to the Raiders at the end. He had it in him, right? And he just quit. He didn't care anymore. And he walked off the field and we know what happened. He went to doing a million touchdowns and he's a great player. But that was a slap in the face to the Raiders. And it was a slap in the face and the Vikings tenure. If AJ still has that in his body, it's a slap in the face to the Eagles. Are you finished? Yeah. I'm not. But I mean, no, I hear you. We volley back and forth. So I'm finished for now. Yeah, no, no. I hear you, Joe. And I understand your angst and your pain when it comes to AJ Brown. But as a person that has been and I'm not making an excuse, I'm just kind of give you a different perspective. Being in a situation that you're not happy in, it's hard to be successful. And it's obvious that for whatever reason, we don't know. AJ was not happy here. After all the success that he's had here, he wasn't happy here. And it is easier for us as Eagle fans to create the narrative that he just quit on the whole season.

Now, the playoff game that there might be a conversation there. But he was hurt for the most part last season, playing through a lot of injuries. So I'm not again, not making that as an excuse. But that's the reality of the situation that he's in. So now he goes New England. And heading back to campus, timed web grade your entire text setup. To all of our chagrin, he talks about how New England is heaven. We don't understand why that's the case because he ain't that one and nothing New England. He ain't care about what that is. We know, and we know. Okay, but he don't care nothing about none of that, right? He had mostly says here, but for him, New England is heaven.

That's something that none of us can fathom. We don't understand that. The bottom line is he where he wants to be right now, right? So he's going to put forth that extra effort to please the Patriots fans and Drake, man, you see how he waxed in poetic about the man and how he's like, hey, just put the ball, hey, just put the ball in the vicinity that I'll catch it. Now, the one thing that we do know when AJ's on top of his game, that is who he is. Sure. So he's probably going to do that. Wonderful. And I will root against him in all moments. And you will be within your right to root against him. And I'll be there just looking at his father. Well, I see that's the problem that you're just like giggling in the background. No, I'm just saying because he's too touched outside in 100 yards. I'm pissed. Two titties in a hundred. I'll take that. We bet we bet. We bet tonight's a night bet on bettons on $2. Who we got tonight doing? Yeah, Seattle's one. I think I'm going to go with the Patriots in Seattle. Guess the defending champs. Yeah. I'm going against the grain. I mean, it's obviously you're planting your flag as you're the Mr. Great.

I am not you are. I am not. I mean, Kyle, it certainly feels like he was pretty far. That you want to call Kyle and you're the biggest. You're the biggest jail and hater on the show. I mean, it's unbelievable. I'm not hating on Jaylen. You know what it is. Y'all can't handle the reality that I sprinkle. Y'all went on a daily basis. Oh, yeah. Reality. The guy that sat here for months is an AJ working for a reality. Reality. I don't recall. Yeah. I don't know. So you held the line to the line of the clip. He's on the line. He's playing tonight for the New England Patriots. Hold the line. Yep. There's no line. Boran's you know, it's a job. I need a sandwich. Well, then order one. He loves this. I'm going to hear. We're all here. My ears are still bleeding. I'll say one five five nine two ninety four. Dottie four. Let's grab a phone call here. Tate wants to know what I'm smoking. I mean, that would be nothing. Tate, what's up, pal? What's up guys? Go birds. Go birds. Tate, what do you think this morning? Go birds. We're back. We're back. I got a I got a what are you smoking? It's September 9th, Joe. It's September.

Are you a fan or not? Are you getting on the fan wagon or not? Are you on the man wagon? You're a fool. We've got a Super Bowl MVP at quarterback. He's one one lost one. Got a sake one. AJ. Talk to me. Kind of one of the best still lines. What are we doing here guys? Well, I mean, so let's be fair. The Eagles have a lot of talent. But the dead head. The Super Bowl MVP thing is not it's not a predictive future thing like just because that happened. Has nothing to do with them making the playoffs for winning 12 games. They've had on that cap. Nothing to do with it. That predictive future. Look at him. Same. Why is he just Google his record? Goose record. Talk to him. Talk to him. Tate. Tate. He's over there. I'm telling you. Tate. Tate. Tate. Have you ever Googled the records of quarterbacks that stop winning? Like you think it goes on forever? What is Aaron Rogers? Was he was he not good and now now what? He's a winner. The stealers stink. Nobody likes Aaron Rogers. Like the idea that you're a winner forever. That's not pro football. You are good until you're not good anymore. Because Jalen Hertz was good in 2022. Has nothing to do with Sunday.

Like what is that's a do anything? Man, it is just getting tired here and you before the season starts being negative. You understand. We got to be positive. We got to be positive. Tate, we got to be here for the bird. Sure. And we are. But we can also have a legitimate conversation of how good we think they are. Like that's okay, Tate. And you think they're going to be great. And Tate, I hope you're right. I hope we're back to 12, 13, 13, 11. Earlier today you said you don't think we're a playoff team. This is a playoff football team. Look at the defense and the off-the-board. I'm not sure. No, no, no, no, no. What I said is I think they're a borderline playoff team. I don't think they're a lot. You didn't say it. They have been. They have been a lock for the last three or four years. Like you just close your eyes and know they're going to be there. I don't think that this season. That's where I'm at. I think you I think you're wrong. And we'll find out. Cheers brother. Let's try. Tate, appreciate it. It's your phone call. What's fine? You call Jayden by the child. That's all right. I love Tate's past. I'd like him better than he Douglas or if you're giggling at AJ Brown touchdowns. Come on, you can appreciate it. I can appreciate Tate anymore. You're not going to ball out tonight. That's fine.

Maybe probably. The Hugh Douglas I know however, would want to see AJ get popped over the middle. Well, we don't know the open field. I don't know that man. I don't know where he went. No, I'm saying that's that younger version. This is the new 55 year old. I hate the 55 year old version. He is the way. He is now. He's the way. 215-592-94-94. On the other side, your phone calls are the Eagles a lock for the playoffs. Are you rooting against AJ tonight? I am. At the fact that Hugh's gig hold up. Hold the line. Enough. Oh, whoa, whoa. And we got to get to last night with the Phillies. As bad of a base running game as you will ever see what they said after the game and the moments that just drove me crazy and all of us crazy.
