Landen Williams-Callis Stars in Richmond Randle's 20-14 Win
About this episode
Jeff Howe and Jordan Scruggs recap a spectacular season opener from Texas running back commit Landen Williams-Callis, who powered Richmond Randle past South Oak Cliff with 227 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Williams-Callis became the first player since 2021 to rush for more than 200 yards against South Oak Cliff and has now surpassed 100 yards in 41 of his 45 high school games.
With more than 7,700 career rushing yards, Williams-Callis has positioned himself to challenge the Texas high school state record during a potentially historic senior season. Jordan also confirms that his recruitment is completely shut down after Texas beat out Texas A&M and Missouri, while providing injury updates on Longhorn offensive line commits Brian Swanson and Jackson Cook.
