Why not? Let's record. Sure. Spicy kill. A rash. It's bad to he. Spicy kill. A rash. It's bad to he. Spicy kill. A rash. He killed. A rash. He killed. A rash. He killed. A kill. He really loves it. What? Chert is the first one. He doesn't love it. Is that better? Welcome everyone to Season 6. Episode 4 of the Fresh Penball Podcast. To my right, my actual right. On the board. Yes. Mr. Kyle. Are we doing, buddy? Uh, got a little seasonal, whatever cold going on. So, unfortunately, I can get to kiss you on the mouth when you're ready. You play other than that pretty well. Kiss me everywhere. And a cross for me on microphone number three, Mr. Zach Angeli. How are we doing?
I'm floating fantastic. How are you, Jeffrey? I'm feeling good. Coming on fresh off of a podium spot of some trivia tonight. So, you know, feeling. He's riding that wave band. He's up there. Who's the team? Is it you're? Is it Nore and Tia? It was my self. It was Tia. Tia. It was my brother and then his wife. Oh. So who carries the wave? It's interesting. It was interesting because we all have different. It was not a specific theme trivia. It's just general. General. How old your brother? He is four years younger than me. Okay. So, 39. So, he should have a little bit more of the. And his, his, his, uh, your something. What about his, um, his wife? Is she younger older? What kind of range? A little bit younger. Okay. So, you have a pretty good, you gotta have that. We do. We have a range. 88, 68-year-age range there. Okay. In different areas of expertise. Okay. So, it worked out well. But we were going up against a table of teachers. So, ladies or ladies in a dude? All ladies. Um. Minerva public schools. Let me tell you. Those kids. That was kids. And to my left on microphone number four.
From the trivia was a class. The man himself. Corbin Angeli. Are we doing, buddy? Doing good. You see these spicy, uh, dill pickle flavor twists. Freedos. Freedos. Celebrating 250 years of. Merrick. You've, when I read the packaging, it said this is how, um, back to the washing. Did Washington eat these? Yeah. This is how they had prepared Martha. Those were his teeth. Prepared, uh, the Freedos. That fuckin' love these pickle chips. Make them again, Martha. She grind them up. Yeah, she was, it was a bit of a different process, but this is as close as they came with modern shit. Um. But yeah, anyway. That checks out. Kyle found them at the gas station. They're a little dusty, so. They're good. Uh, 250. They have to be from this year, so they can't be that old. If you think that the taste testing has won away from the previous episode, you are incorrect. Weaved, uh, double or triple down on the taste testing. So this, uh, what was the, I guess I should ask, what was the public's reaction to the taste testing?
Was it good, bad and different? Two parts. I want everybody to know that Jeff doesn't let us do anything. Not ahead of time. I have to surprise you guys. No, no, no, no. Like, I've never seen an email. I think he makes half this shit. Nobody to feedbacks. Nobody even fucked up. And the number is no. No, no, no, I'll give you guys the log saying to be even though people showed up with that's what I like. We should talk about that at some point. We should have a picture. We'll have a recap. There was a nice selection. There was, it was, and they just kept growing. It was, uh, there's a lot of people we had to shout out about. Yes. Yeah. Well, let's, let's just get into it. Yeah, let's just get into that. Let's start. And then we can talk about the people's feedback with the food. But so, I mean, we got up there. I mean, right off the ripper, setting up and Stefan shows up and he tosses a, he's like, don't say anything. I'll give you anything. You know, jokingly. And he gave us the, uh, I don't even see them. They might be buried in this picture. Oh, they were the toffee ones, I think. But I'm seeing like six, seven different things of Oreos there. Yeah. So there was, there was, uh, fudge, fudge covered. We had the apple pies. We had the, uh, mac and one.
A massive, uh, damning. Because I didn't even know those were in the van. Yeah. She drove up separately. She did. She's talking about putting, yeah. Uh, there was the deep fried Oreo. Shout out tops and Dunkirk, New York. There was peanut butter. There was the dark chocolates. I feel like there's another one that we might not even be in the picture if I were forgetting. But, um, yeah, everybody, everybody brought them. The Toledo people brought a bunch. Cause yeah, there's a pack under here too. There's a ton. Like, whenever you posted that picture, send it to me or whatever, I was like, holy crap. Clearly some people are listening. If just at one event, people that are local, bruh. It was super cool because we all tried them out there. We just went out there and we got our fill. And then the next day we took them all inside and just put them on the table and people just, uh, all day, munching on it. People just walked by and ate Oreos. I didn't want to, I didn't want to min my van. Yeah. By van, stuff like Oreo. Bring it to an Oreo. Take it to an Oreo. Oh, that would be interesting. It's true. How many people you want pocket Oreos? I mean, I would take a pocket Oreo. Depending on which one. Depends on whose pocket.
Tots out of pockets, Oreos out of pockets, whatever. So, I mean, out of all of them, I mean, the chicken and waffles was interesting. You definitely tasted and smelled like it. Oh, the deep fried. I think that's what you meant. Didn't mention right? Oh, maybe I may have a question. Yeah, I might be able to do the fries underneath. Yeah. Oh, and the banana cream. And the banana cream. Which that was probably one of my favorites honestly. Deep fried just tasted. Not good to me. It was weird. Yeah. Had a little bit of a smoky burn. Jason was loving those deep fried. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Is she already? Should we start our night with the Oreo loaded with real Oreo cookie crumbs on the inside? Do it. Crack those puppies. A lot of them. This is everybody knows, uh, uh, uh, tank the dogs in the house tonight. Oh. Oh. Go ahead. Okay. Have yourself one here. Okay. Let me just let me see. I'm going to start with a sniff. Oh, okay. So this is like a triple stack. Like this is double the triple. This is a pretty thick. That's a thick boy. We'll get one for tank. I passed one. It was like cookie and cream. Yeah.
Very strong Oreo smell. Corbin? Already. Okay. That's fair. He's looking. He's looking the crevices. Very often putting. Bro, you don't put it in there. It's a cookie. It's too much. Too much. It's too much. It's too much. It's too much. It's too much. It's too much. It's too much. It's too much. It's too much. Too much. It's too much. Oh, I think so. There's too much cream. Maybe cream is too much. Yeah. Wow. But that goes to the classic debate of the filling amount in a classic regular Oreo versus double stuff versus the seasonal. The seasonal has the in between that is the perfect amount in my opinion. I don't disagree. You guys know I'm talking about. I know exactly what you're talking about. Double stuff is too much. Classic is not quite enough and then seasonal is the season. There's some reason. It's a little bit more in there. I don't know why. See, I like it.
The good double stuff. I like it. It's good. I think it's too much filling. Sometimes I'll take two double stuff and stack them on top of the filling. You're crazy. You're crazy. I mean, you also do the same thing with the brisket. I can't. Yeah. So. So on the subject of cleapin, I saw that there was the, I don't want to call it annual at this point because I guess it was at pin groove first and now at cleapin traveling. Traveling. Traveling. Talk about it. So it's going to get up. It's going to get a redo before it comes out again. We can get that in a second. Yeah, it. We have about 20 players the first night. First night we have 20, 20 some played it for like a midnight. One of my two tournament. Which we rocked it through pretty quick. We just had to promise that each one of those people I knew personally. Which we all stay past midnight with us. So. But anyway, yeah, no, we played it. It was good. It's good. It's just a good, good group game. Yeah, really? People get excited about it. And then we did one the second night too, where we had I think more, I think we were closer
to 30, which is 30, the second night. Yeah, which Jason was honestly, I thought Jason was going to win it. He was locked in the second night when he was playing. Okay. I had a knock. But like he were trying to, like I was trying to talk to them a little bit. Yeah, it was like three orange monsters. Yeah. Yeah. He was standing like when he wasn't playing. He was standing under the tent just like Hawkeye. Yeah, the table. He had a glizzies in there. He did, yeah. He was, yeah. They had a hot, the Toledo Peplow guys roller. They had a hot dog roller out in the parking lot. That was running off of a generator. And I only brought up the grill. I brought the grill like we did last year. And they were just like, no, we got a hot dog roller. And I was surprised at how quickly it got those hot dogs up to 10. And there's a little rack on top for the buns too. I mean, it was a pretty nice thing. That's not bad. I would, I'd get one if we came across one for the right person. So he really did earn employee of the weekend. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, for sure. So we brought it to. I loved it. I think he said one of them, I don't remember Dave, maybe you're someone printed that for him. That's amazing. Yeah. For sure. And they were all very help me.
They were all fixing games on jamming balls, all that kind of stuff all weekend. So it was good. It was a good thing. You have to work on it. Shit, thanks, Jason. Yeah. What I do, put a fix on that. We had some weird stuff, I said. I fixed a few things. Rob Zombie was definitely the worst. We were talking Rob a lot. That was like, there was some weird power stuff going on. So Rob Zombie with the weird thing that was going off Rob Zombie. And we're just going to share this because maybe somebody will have some inside. We haven't had a chance to set up. I haven't done anything yet. But basically what we had going on, we might have to call the man himself in. But we start Don, Don's the man. Oh, yeah. We, it's basically all the high voltage kept shutting off. So we started a game. It would play fine. You'd get like, you know, I don't know. Sometimes you would go like, you'd hit like 10 seconds. 10 seconds. 10 seconds. And you'd lose high voltage and you'd look in the back box and it would say, like, so you have the fuse lights back there. Yeah. And all the high voltage solenoid fuse lights would be turned off. And you're like, what the heck do we blooms? You turn the power off, you check the fuse, fuse is fine. I think what the hell?
Turn the power back on. Fuse lights are back on. You can start a game and it plays again. And so then this, but then sometimes you'd start a game like we got through a whole two player game the one time. Right. And no problem before you lost the high voltage. And I only had been having like the SD card issues because they do disintegrate. Yeah. I've heard you would and you'd burn to the end of that. I was hungry up there and it ran fine. It did. It did. And that game had a ton of problems. It was doing sound. It was doing like power cycling. And Rob had just been doing sound, but I don't have like a proper PC. So Zach came next day with one, put it, throw it in. It started to work and then we were playing like something's most hot. Yeah. And we shut it down and the flipper coils were. Everything was hot. It's so hot. It's starting to slow. But they were all like too much something with some kind of like voltage regulator or something in their head do have gotten. Do you think the flaky power, the weird power in the building was having any? Yeah. I think we tried it once with the so one of the times the whole quarter blew because as you
know, we left the rest of the world. We left everything off and just turned it on and tried it just real quick. Yeah. And it did the same ship. So I feel like something in some voltage regulator somewhere in that system has to have been toasted because it's not giving enough. It's restarting. Then it's giving too much in your own. And it's only fitting the first time that you own it and it's out on dude. Literally I took custody of it like four hours before that. Yeah. Yeah. Suspicious. Not before burned up before the show. Yeah. It all. Yeah. So that one was weird. Flipper football. Flipper football was a power thing too. I think we've had that issue with that before. Yeah. So I think you finally did it in. I saw it in the deal with that. Other than that though. I think rotation ain't. Oh. Yeah. Magic spot. No. Magic spot. It'll be coming into the little once I get the other rotation one back together. It's coming. It's going to have to come home and have some some of the kick back. I need some daddy time. The kick back on the left locked on. Luckily. Luckily I was standing there when it happened.
And so I was like, nope, we're done. We hadn't been in there for like three hours. In the good news. Like what a dinner. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Hopefully it's got a little bit more protection. Yeah. It looks exactly the same here. Yeah. It's like winter of the same tips that we've got. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We're gonna have to do that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And we have burned up. We have one from that guy's box too. So we can also just scan coil like scan tracking. Sure. Sure. Everyone's around too. But anyway, you're saying you can't, yet. I was just seeing a lot of good feedback after the show of people who had a good time. I'm more excited about it. It had no, I don't. We can only think of a step ball or two. A step ball or two. One of the little light.
Yeah. One of the spotlights popped out. We just popped it back in. Yeah. There was nothing. Yeah. We played it played fine the whole time. Yeah. We had it there with way water. And so then putting it out there it's going to be going to Barberton, Timber Beast this week, Friday. So let's talk about Barberton Ohio a little bit because I did have a message about. And they're chicken. The chicken. People were trying to understand why Kyle kept every time somebody would say Barberton, Kyle would talk about it. And it's the same thing about it. So Kyle, please explain to the people. It's just fried chicken. But from where? Is it like made differently or technically? Yeah. It's like some sort of sauce or something. I think it's like a Slavic type of shuigo. You've never had Barberton chicken? No. And it always is like every time I was just like, you get chicken and I'm like, no, I'm just working. Is it part of you had it? No. No. Is it part of you had it? No. No. Yes. That is. That's the one that I was talking about. Yeah. It's like an Eastern European. Tank, have you ever had this Barberton chicken? No.
I was going to get some Barberton chicken. Okay. I've had it like once twice. That means it's good for a chicken. And it's either grandma would always go to one but not the other because there's some family beef. There's some family. Of course. Of course. Of course. Typical. Yeah. So talking about this, we have always traditionally called this the fact check, which I always liked since season one episode two we've had this. Yeah. A listener suggested that we rename the segment the refresh. Yeah. No. I'm not going to keep it. Okay. We'll keep the fact check. Who was it? Who just got shit in the back? I can look. I don't know. The idea is stupid Kyle sets. We don't like the refresh. I don't know. He's like, no. Kyle, it says you emailed this in. This is him. You suggested this. Okay. My last name. I'm going to go. Okay. My last name. Adam smasher update. Do you have been following on? I have been. I have been. And? You see it. It's cut into pieces. They're cut into bite size pieces to move it. Yeah.
Literally of sections. Yeah. They're like torching into like, I don't know, manageable size. I don't know what they're going to be like the size of this. Like probably the size of this rod. They're still big. They're big. Yeah. Either way. I just like to think when they peeled off like one layer of the onion, they're like, what the fuck are these stickers? What is fresh? Why is there a donut with legs and arms and fresh pinball? What in the world is going on here? I'm just every time I see the updates though online, I'm like, just, I'm like, man, this is a, this is just chalk that are timing. I mean, that's what I was going to say. That's, that's, that's it. I was out there at 9th being it. Yeah, that's all I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, yeah, that's all. I'm just blown away that the stars along the way. That's what I was just going to say. I want to thank our, our newest sponsor, tugboats. Yeah. I'm going to go there and try the pizza bombs. If you want to drink, if you want to drink six to eight beers before you're going to hear food, that is the place to go because of those were atomic. I, um, I assume we'll probably be over there for Pimbo next year or whatever. And we'll definitely have to go talk about it again. Well, yeah, that must.
You guys ready for cookie number two? Sure. Sure. I think there's anything else from Cleapin like there's a lot of interesting. It is. I bought a game and I, and I sold it all within the, so I was going to ask you about that because when I was there on Friday, you're like, oh, yeah, I bought a game and I'm like, oh, I know which one that is. And then I saw a picture from someone else saying that they were taking it home. I'm like, this is very confusing. So I bought this game for, you saw, it was like snow derby or something. It's snow derby. It's just snow derby. It had a ceramic ball in it. And two inch flipper, two spedders. Yeah, with two spedders. I was like, hmm, I would have bought it for six. It was 500 bucks on it. 500 bucks. Yeah. So we're playing to it right next to what is that? That's a Prusa. Yeah. Prusa. Yeah. It's right next to what's his name is. He's a medieval madness. And, um, you know, the custom one. Yeah. And just standing there playing it. And I look over and Prusa walks up and slaps a $500 cent. I'm like, you have 500 bucks studies like, yeah, and I'm like, dude, take that off. I was five or five hundred bucks. It had a power bonnet and lip post. Yeah, he put like lip starpost in it. It looked good. It looked good.
Yeah. It looked good. And so I was like, sit. Cool. And so then, you know, I'm like, I'll give this to Nate. Nate, and it was not Mikey's wedding, but Nate's wedding. It's Mikey's wedding, dude. Mikey's getting married. I was going to move it in the house. And, uh, it's perfect. And they were outside. We're hanging out. And one of the guys comes out and he's like, man. Like, my wife's dream game or something like, you know, she was, she had like some, there's some some kind of connection with it. That's right. And she didn't even know it was for sale. By the time she realized it was for sale, somebody else bought it and blah, blah, blah. And I was like, which game was it? And he's like, oh, it was snow derby. And I was like, yeah, damn it. And so I just let them buy it then. I already sold it to them. And then you sell it to them for the same price. Yeah, I did. You're a good man. And the joy, the joy it brought like her, like you could tell she was very excited about it. Yeah, shout out Josh and Melissa. Yeah, thank you. Yeah. Part of the sleet of pinball people. Very, very cool people. So this is the Oreo with the Reese's filling. Very strong Reese's.
I already like the smell. Yeah, the smell is legit. That get smells like the inside of a Reese's pizza buttercup. That's how it's filling. Standard amount of filling. It could use a little more. It could, but not double. I don't know. Give me that one. I'll stack them the guy and let you know. He's son of a bitch. So you brought up weddings in pinball. Do you have a firm plan for taking something up? Or for shipping something out? Or we're leaving this up in the air. We don't want to make any spoil. Oh, because you did take Scooby Doo out to fill it, right? Yeah. We took the wedding out there. And what was the, was it the hot focal point? Plus. It was a pretty sick over the top place. OK. The whole wedding was, it was a Catholic wedding. I was in the wedding. It was, yeah. So the venue afterwards was like this, like multi floor building and there's a patio. And there's all this shit. So we get it out there. I get a set up. And then it's your normal, of course, at the wedding, everybody's like, how does it get here?
All the normal questions. And then I haven't seen pinball in so long. I didn't even know they make pinball. The normal conversations. But it was, there's only this 100 of us. Right. Yeah, it went well. Scooby Doo played good. Everybody was happy. It was outside. It was on the patio. So it just went all night. They found it and they couldn't shut us down. It could use a little more filling. It could, man. But overall, I'd say it was a, it was good. People were surprised. They were actually brought up in the pool. How do you have it? They should never be. As a non-pickle person, I don't hate those. I like it. What did you try about? Well, I took the new truck, the new boot truck. Nice. I wasn't going to try to haul the trailer. It did rain. That's always like the question with something like that. But I literally wrapped it up tight. I did. I literally blanked, double blankets. And then I did a plastic wrap and then I did a tarp around the whole thing on top of a cart. So it wasn't on the bed of the truck. Yeah, it was fine. And strapped it, whatever, which way. That's a probably better treatment than it saw when it was shipped here.
Yeah, for sure. You had a rough shipment. It probably rolled, it probably rolled loser than that to Florida. So I'm sure. Definitely did. So who are we congratulating from your wedding? It was, oh man, I put them on the spot. My bad, my bad. It's really good. I want to shout out. I know Rob, yeah, you went to a wedding too, didn't you? Sam Bowman and now Melissa Bowman. Or you want to a customer's wedding. Checked out their wedding. And let me tell you, like it was, they didn't, but it was not by their choice. They didn't get your wedding. It's your choice. Remember that people. We leaned heavily of trying to have a Star Wars there, but didn't end up making it happen. But I met several people from the Trangle Pinball Collective while I was there. And guess what? They were still like singing the praises of you guys for taking the games down there. That's the Kevin Bowman and Thrill. That was one of the ones I found out about. Ovid Dillard. No, no, no, no, no. What's that? Oh, Kevin, what I'm on? You know, who's wedding was it? Sam. Yeah, Kevin did.
I didn't realize. Anyway, anyway, I felt bad about that. They still didn't respect our damn, don't turn the game on yet, because it's been in the fucking home, but, you know. Dude, I'm like seriously. It was fucking seven degrees when we left Ohio. It was called that day. It wasn't a cold ride. I've been a list of congratulations. It was a great wedding. It was beautiful. There's pyro techniques in the oven. I did some, I set Sean up. So anybody knows Sean Don. He is a big stealer, Sam. He's from Shitsburg. It's his thing. He's a little bit of his whole life. It's not a swap. So any of you are too much choice, like most people have. Before the wedding, there was like a big group text and it had all the bridesmaids in the groomsmen in it. And they were talking about their whole entrance into the reception. Like they wanted to do one of those ones you see online or whatever, it was dancing or doing whatever on the way in. And somebody was like, hi, my name's Sohn. So, hey Sean, Sean D. I'm supposed to be your partner. Do you like the Eagles? We could do something with the Eagles. And before Sean or anybody could respond, I immediately responded and said, yo, this is Sean D.
I love the Eagles and I would definitely be down to do this. And then I didn't find out until later on. Sean wasn't even in the group chat. He couldn't even defend himself. I signed his ass off for the Eagles. Like Eagles is like football. Yeah, yeah, like the Phillies like football thing. Yeah. Fly, Eagle fly. Yeah, I signed him up for it. I told him when he was right about it, he was super pleased. He's like, no, he has like a Steelers hat on and grabs his terrible towel. He's like taking it into the rehearsal dinner. Like I got to make it clear. I got to make it clear. His clear is ass with it. Sorry, man. Yeah, it was a good wedding though. It was a good, great time. Lots of food. I ate so much like food. Like I can't eat it. Dude, I know it was good. So what? During the orderv or whiskey or whatever it's called, they had like, I can't even begin to list everything. They had like mini cheese sticks, mini taco bowls. They had filet, like they had Alfredo. They had chicken off-rado. They had lobster mac and cheese. This is a full fours dinner? Yeah, two.
Everything. And I'm forgetting shit because everything where I look, there was something else coming up and I was like, why I gotta try that? There was just a little popper. It was, but then by the time I sat down, I was like, I'm not eating this much salad. Like I am so full right now. I'm eating anything. Gotta make the customer accounts. And then the meat they brought, the servers who were bringing out the meat were brand new. Do you think they were like sitting on the table? You think they're like sitting around playing or they're wedding and like we should appease the one-bite bandit. Just, I know this guy. That's where it's at. I don't even, that was the first time I'd ever met his wife. Huh? So. But it was a good time lots of food. It sounds like it was amazing. Oh, so stuff. Hmm. I was so stuff. And then she still hasn't eaten. That was what, three weeks ago, man. I had a bite since. So it's like an epic time. You should have just taken a star wars. You could solve the problem, man. Be part of the solution of the problem. It was like two star wars sitting around right now. It was part of the conversation. So they had their wedding at Disney. And the chapel was literally like you saw, like they're standing there at the altar
and you see through the window and there's like the Disney castle, which was crazy. And then after the reception was over, they get into like the Cinderella like pumpkin carriage with little white horses that like takes them down the road to the whatever. So then we go down to the... I think that's the F palace. The F palace. Whatever it was. And then they take us to the cocktail or durv hour or whatever. And yeah, it was, it was a whole thing. So was there a plug somewhere in that... The Sony app plug? And lecture gualley. So back to this point one, they won't not allow that for liability or anything. So let's just say that it has to be in a custom cabinet. It's like shit. Yes. For it. You know, property. It's like very tightly orchestrated. Let's just put it in the end of the end of the end of the end. Because the place that we stayed had a Guardians of the Galaxy and I posted a picture of the scoop, the main scoop of the game to start modes and to collect extra balls or whatever else. Had like a tissue stuff to check. Oh, I saw it. So you couldn't get into this.
That's like what they do with the pool tables. They can play for free. But then, you know, Groot's mouth is always an issue on that game to where like it, you know, doesn't censor whatever. The motor goes out on it. Well, this one I was an extra challenge. It's a good wise brand, so. It could have been to where the mouth was continually moving. So then it was like, well now the whole point of the game is to change it though. It did. It's like a mini-golf, like kind of a challenge. The whole point now is all I want to do is... Got your fucker. Stop that. Got your fucker. But no, it was a good time. Congratulations to all of the new marriages. I got another one coming up now. It's in the football world, yeah. I'm excited to hear all the details on that situation. Yeah. So Kleepins in the rear view mirror and next up is going to be PGX. That's your man, that's your thing. Some excitement there. I've never bought Jovi for it. I was just gonna say, schedule to appear. We're looking at Bondrovi. Dead, oh, wow. The NBA linked fast-brains. Might be dead. Pokemon.
Transformers. Potentially fall out pro if it makes it in time. Yeah. The Sonic Collector's Edition. Space Hunt Classic. Dungeons and Dragons Premium. Star Wars Premium. Strangers, thing, stranger things Premium. Mm-hmm. Uh-oh. Nope. Nope. How many of the games? Yeah, it's scheduled to. Okay. Star Wars Fall of the Empire Pro, which is now sold. So that's also on the other... Do we have what's interesting? What's interesting is what Space Hunt on there? Space Hunt is on there. We, yes. There goes that one. We can make some changes. But yeah. There's a lot around. There's a lot around in games we can fill in. It's not a lot around. So first week of October, if you want to come out and see Norn and I, we'll be man in the booth out there. Flipping some games while Corbin and Zach are in Colorado. Tightest going to. Any time. For the big wedding out west, mountain time. Yeah, it's a big of time.
Hate all of you about it. By the way, my fucking birthday on Friday, you bitches. Friday. Happy birthday. No, that Friday. The Friday of PGX. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Any of that. So then the big announcement just was for pinball Expo, the electric playground. Booth, they did their big press release yesterday. The releasing of the logo and the booth and. There's a punch. I heard from Robin that there may be a jersey in your future. And by maybe there is a jersey in your future. Good. I just want to pass it to Esmeralda. I don't know about that. That's really the key. It's hope it says boss man. The boss man. All caps. But that booth looked sick as we alluded to. So in the more talking about earlier, like I kind of think we should try to make this pop a shot. Lay it out there for the people. The spark of. Jet and adjacent. Something about pop a shot wanting us to bring a pot potentially bring a pop a shot to Expo or something for them.
Then we're talking and we're like, well shit. We might as well just put it right by the fast breaks. I know shit. This is a slam dunk as they say. Oh, he got one. He got one. He got one. He got one. He got one. Say what? Oh. Carman using appropriate sports analogy. Yeah. Like when a lunar eclipse and a solar eclipse and Mitsubishi eclipse all align all at the same time. You both have a motherfucker. You know. No. That sounds so anyway. We should try to make that happen. Yeah, I think so. Especially if you're already kind of thinking about bringing some pop a shots into the fold. That. But I already those already shipped. Yeah, it still has for a ship. Yes, God. Yeah, that's true. Hey, Mr. Gravens, can I have a drink? I don't know if you can like take those apart and put them back to the other how many times. I'm sure you can. I can. I would think that you take it apart, like not fully back apart. Just into the big chunks.
Like into the big modules. Chunks, yeah. That sort of situation. All right. I'll try it on a minute. Next, cookie taste test. These are the chips of Hoi limited edition unidentified flavor. Real cop out. They forgot to flavor them. It's like a laughing 10. Oh, where do you smell? It's like maybe like a macadamia in that? That's what it looks like. Like from a... They're gonna try to see us. You can't, you got to figure that there, if this is trying to be like a visual trick. They're soft. Like go Jeff. Don't be nervous, Tank. I wouldn't do you like that. You don't know what you're feeding us. It's the come of a sailor. It's a macadamia in that, bro. I think you just make it. Yeah. Macomas chunky in white chocolate. Not gonna lie. These aren't special. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
No. You let me down a little bit, trips of Hoi. It's not bad. Not special. I'd rather like a classic chocolate chip, you know, chip for Hoi over there. It's not bad, but... It's a little bit of a letdown. I wouldn't buy it in that. I would. Would... Would Nila cookie flavor? Would not recommend. Yes. So we'll follow up to the SkyNet update from the last episode. Let me try that. The day that SkyNet took over has he has come and gone since the last time that we recorded. That one, yeah. I saw it on something. Did you do anything to commemorate it? I... Did you worship our overlords? No, I broke the computer. Puts to write the face. Puts to own. Your own computer, the combo-tron computer, many computers, all the computers. I prefer baseball that for my computer's drain. I'm interested to get this combo-tron out and see what it does at another spot.
I think it's gonna be turning on more consistently. I think it's gonna only help it. It never hurts when it's on for people to be influenced to put money into it. So what do you think about this debate? I've been... I'll bring this to the table. Mm-hmm. So it's probably said a dollar play right now. What are we talking about? That big fucking Cosmotron game. It's like the big white, it's like a four-player astronaut. It's like a four-player asteroid on steroids with TNT and using a five-word last track of it, with a TV in it. And you basically play like a multiplayer asteroid almost. You're in this. There's like three different ways you can play. Like three different, I think. I don't know. You play your beer all over the play panel. You do. Of course you do. There's a bunch of buttons and shit up there. Yeah, like a beer spot on them. But it lights up, it's pretty. It's a cool piece. It is. So dollar play? 50 cents a play. What do we think? The dollar play, 50 cents to continue. I think that's what I would set up. I found with perfect poor, I had it at a dollar play at Lakewood and Finney's, it does whatever.
We took it to quarter up, we put down to 50 cents. And it seems to do more, but then it's like, it's a hard question of, is it because of the location and the traffic, or is it because we lowered 50 cents? So does it do twice as much? Is it did when it was at a dollar play? Time's as much. Four times as much? Because it's only doing it twice as much. I'd say like twice as much. If it's only doing it twice as much. I think it's at least twice as much. It's definitely a small money than Lakewood. But it wasn't up to very long for Lakewood. I don't know. I think part of the challenge too is, so if you have this whole row of games on the wall, they're all these classics and they're all 50 cents a play. Sure. And then you have one, this is the dollar. That's a dollar. Or that's a dollar. I just feel like, I don't know. I guess then are you, but like you said, you only have to get half the people to play it. And that's less wear and tear. And that's less repairs. And that's less time messing with it. Yeah. But you also don't want people walking past games, not playing them because they don't see the value in it. Right. That's part of it too, because you wanted to play it and enjoy, because it's a cool game.
But I think that Cosmo Tron or combo Tron or whatever it is, is it's a big thing. Food fighter is the only thing called the Tron. We do some sort of launch party for it when you take it up there after a couple of weeks after you take it up and put it together with food fighters or something or a couple of something else's and do a costume party and whatever else. And once people play it and under like our show up is seven. The barriers. You don't need to be a banana. Come on, dude, get it together. Once people get over that barrier of entry and they played it, then it's like killer queen or anything else. That's the kind of vibe it gives me a little bit. Yeah, it definitely is. It's not, if other people are playing it and people walk by, now they're interested. But just company still business. When I was looking around, nothing was updated for like a couple of years. Yeah, I don't know for sure about that. I know the retro raccoons you had said that that's not being produced anymore. Oh, that raccoon game that we played. Yeah, that was fun.
There's some cool ones out there. I mean, what's the game that Hilton is bringing to Expo and he's putting out like Alien Assault or something? I don't know, I'm excited to see that. I don't know. All of these ones, it's like, unless it's being manufactured and supported by one of the big companies, it's one of those things where it's hard to see these independent DSMs and whatever else supporting something for five years. Those who are still doing the PBR one. They are. Those have done actually, I shouldn't say well, but I see them around. I see them out there. Yes. I think the challenge for me is just hard at a $5,000 price tagger whatever it is in that range for the payback on it. So a lot of cool gaming people like it. I'm not, there's no question about that. But for what it is, for like, you know, a lot of the places I've been seeing and have been like the bigger family fund center. So not Dave and Buster's, but like round one and main event and things like that. I'm able to get the card money or. Well, they're used to spending $20,000 on a piece. Okay.
So a $5,000 piece looks like a deal. It's mixed in with the drastic parks in the Gallagher Assault. Exactly right. Exactly right. I did see Gallagher Assault whenever we were at Disney though. I'm like, oh, what one's got that game? People playing it. There was no one in that archery except me. It's just a pretty centerpiece in the industry. It was a nice 78 degrees sunny. So Jeff. I got to be in the AC, man. I can't be on the heat too long. I understand. I'm right there with the freaking mouth. We should do some of that triangle collective again. I like them. Yeah, they were super excited. Like I was just introduced as Jeff. And then eventually like we all started talking about pinball. They're like, oh, you're that Jeff. I'm like, oh, God, here we go. Like not anymore. So I'm up there. Nope, I'm Kyle. My name is Kyle. I'm Jeff. I'm a certain of a beach. But yeah, the other night I had posted up about, I don't know. Corbin nightlight. I was listening to our last podcast to get updated for this one. And we talked about tours. And then I was looking back at pictures and found the one from UnHitch,
the first day that we did the bond one. So I threw it out there like, hey, what do you people think of? What do you mean the one where we didn't have bond 60th? It came on later. Later on, you know, it showed up. Thanks a lot. Stern guys. And people had some interesting suggestions. I thought there were people, Jared Cook and a few others then commented underneath and were saying a nuclear theme. So you'd have like TNA, Godzilla, final resistance. Yeah, some of those ones. Yeah, exactly. I mean, any way that you want to tie it in, which I thought was one that didn't cross my mind at all. Someone suggested El Viro, which obviously has already been done in the circle. Another one that I thought was really cool was a monster themed one. That would be a good October like Halloween's at time. Yeah, there's a lot. I mean, you could do Yukon Yeti and White Monster. You could do Monster Bash. You could do Godzilla. You could do Dracula. You could do slime. Yeah, I mean, it's, yeah. Monsters. Really a lot of opportunity for that. One of them the low hanging fruit was obviously Star Wars.
Since there are so many different versions of them. We had four or five of them up a quarter up for May the fourth this year. Yeah, which was very cool. That episode one episode. I was just, they love it. It gets so much, so many plays. It doesn't make any sense. But the volume will randomly turn itself to the max. That's not ideal. All the way 24. And it's right outside the kitchen. So then they're texting me like, he turned it shit down. They go, I don't love Larry. Every time I hit the down button, all the way to the bottom. Nope, make a hotdog. Stop it. I have not been up there in a hotdog. I was thinking I need it. I'm out of hotdog. Pick yourself a hotdog. Ready for a Wizard of Oz prototype update? Sure. If you were hotdog, would you eat your sail? Mm-hmm. I know I would. I know I would. That's louder myself and must do and pick over this. Mm-hmm. All right, continue. So for the fallout media day, myself and Noren ran out and met Mitch at the Stern Factory.
And in the Stern parking lot, unloaded Wizard of Oz from his truck and put it into the forerunner. When it ended the whole tour and all of that, and then brought Wizard of Oz back and finally got around to getting it out and getting it set up over the weekend. And it's an interesting piece of history, for sure. From looking at it and from doing just a very shallow dive on Pinside and a few other places to kind of see the evolution of what you guys talked about before, where it went from being at Expo in 2012 behind a velvet rope basically a box of lights to then being at IAPA, where there were prototypes and then finally, games that people were flipping in play. TPM was the first time that you actually, so the first time the world got to play was at TPM and this was one of those 13 or 16? 17. 17 games? Yep. So I'm not sure how much we hit up on it in the last episode, but some of the differences I've already noted on it are
that instead of decals, it has direct printed art onto the cabinet, which it's not quite like a butter cabinet, but it definitely has more vibrancy to it. It's brighter. You said it's in pretty good shape, this thing hasn't seen too many miles. No, the art on it, like on the outside. It's travel from Texas obviously, but. Yeah, there's like one little nick on it, but otherwise, like even the silk screening on the back box, like it's never been like. So it rich told me, and I probably told you this as well. The way the guy he got it from got it was, he had went to the TPM auction, I guess, one of the years after that, that they was there the first year, then I guess it was one of the following years. He went, I guess there's an auction. Yeah. He bought it there, took it home and then he played it at home for a number of years until it stopped working and then he put it in the storage unit. Yep, yeah, yeah. So that's the story I got as well. Yeah, I thought that was interesting. So this is really like, it went from that distributor Jersey Jack whoever owned it at TPM to random, you know, Billy Bob in Texas and then, or did he say where he was, where the storage unit was?
He said it was within like five hours or so. He said it was within like five hours of where he was. So I mean, from Iowa, that could be up into Wisconsin or that could be down. That was it. That was the guy who was at TPM. My guess would be, and I'm just guessing South of Iowa. Is it, you know, they have like Southern cars, it's like a Southern game, is that better? It's not a cleaner frame. So let me ask you this, I've not really been under the glass or behind the back glass of a Wizard of Oz. So on your 419 and 420, when you take the back glass out, obviously none of the guts, none of the real electronics are in the back box. They're all in the body of the game. How is your monitor mounted in your production version? Or do you, have you even ever had the back? No, I have. Yeah, you know, I have, because one of our back glasses peeled, so we had to replace it. And the lights back there, one of the early issues with some of the early games where those lights would short and it would cause other issues in the whole chain. So in the production one, there is like an LED strip. Yeah. Yeah, that's the same. And there's an LED strip, and then the monitor is like a thick, ass like heavy duty flat panel.
That sounds like you're the one that's in now. You need to see this, because this thing is like mounted in there, and that one is in the drive-out screw there. Yeah. That one is in the showroom. She ain't going nowhere. No. So then some of the little details that I thought were cool, and this may have come through on the production one, was like the glass is the Invisit glass, but it is actually like with the JGP logo and CS Invisit glass. Yeah, the two have the, it has the little, the, the state, the state, the state, the state, the state. So I took that out and then, I don't know if something had happened with when they tacked both parts onto the lockdown bar. There's actually like Gorilla Glue holding the actual framework onto the lockdown bar itself. Which I think is super interesting. It came that's like that too. I feel like. One of the more fascinating things was. It's all chrome, it's all chrome trim on it. It's all chrome trim, and then did it come with art blades? No. Okay, so this has mirrors in it, and you can tell that they're not like aftermarket,
and that they're very strategically screwed into the cabinet with like specific size screws, and the screws are put in places where it's hidden by the play field, which I thought was interesting. Definitely feel like something they did then. Yeah, it definitely did. Because they wanted it to be at T-P-F and look like, and you could see it from all the angles, and look, you know, this world under glass. So this one runs on a different computer than they used on any of the production models. So one of the limiting factors of this computer was, is it could not run video on the LCD and in the crystal ball at the same time. Yeah. So their solution for the crystal ball was there was actually a compact flash memory card in there that it plugs into and just runs just like, one of those memory frames or whatever basically. So it's not tied into anything that's happening. It's just doing stuff. Which gives you the effect, and you're standing in line and just show you playing it, you don't really get to take. But some of those little things I thought were like, super fascinating of like, it's like,
it's a whole wizard of us thing, like don't look at the man behind the curtain, like hey, there's something happening here, like obviously we've got our stuff together, and we've got this all figured out, but in reality they didn't add a lot. We'll forget that later. It felt like there was a lot going on that sort of thinking with the game as we want all of these things to happen. And I mean, from T.P.F. to production, that's two months. So in two months, like there's still figuring some of this stuff out. Yeah. But it's not like a stern production to where the day in May that they start shipping them, they're building, you know, 500 a week, they're probably, you know, maybe building. It's always a little bit better. It's always easy for something like that. Two things also. We did barrels of fun, say, in the recent year, they're putting up two a week, building two games a week. Just talking about weekly painting. Yeah. I'm sure that was interesting, but I think that's cool. Well, that's crazy because that means the two that are getting built this week are, yeah, one of the nice, one of the two's, one of the nice, one of the nice, one of the nice, yeah. And then they were promising, again, that the Winchester Mystery House run would be done by the end of October. I saw it. Out of the T.P.D.
7, the OS 5, or so, it was the ship tomorrow, to the 16th, so tomorrow. It's just bizarre with that. Like, understanding getting the one up front for show purposes and what else, but the balance of them were all ordered at the same time and it was communicated to us all along that they were together and now all of a sudden, they're not together. The five and the two, and it made me nervous at first, as I'm like, do we lose two? Mm-hmm. But no, it confirmed we still have more. I don't know. But yeah, the next thing that I want to do on Waz is everyone has said that some of the coils and wiring and things are different, so I want to pull up the wiring schematic for a production one and literally go through like the one-to-one to see like, hey, what's different? You should just go to Mike as, like, Mike as takes pictures. Yeah, this is the showroom. Yeah, definitely. You can check that out. Definitely will do that. But it's been a cool experience so far. Definitely seems as though it's just the hard drive on it has failed because it's, you know, the hard drive that has spun up a million times
and just, you know. He said, don't tell me when you fix it. But here's the thing, all the reading that I've done on it, the code that that computer that's in there will be able to run is literally basically like that crystal ball running on a compact flash. Like, you can hit all the shots and the screen does things. But like, it's not for me. It's like a, God, we keep getting these. It's like a show. Things that you can't do anything with. No. It, but it's perfect for like the red-headed stepchild, like, island of misfit toys things. Because yeah, you take it somewhere and at a show is anyone there going to be, oh my gosh, I need to make it to the end of this game. Two balls on Alice. Yeah, like you're experiencing one of 17. Wow. That was literally an top of a gate. Oh boy. I almost got up there with tape. Give me an update. That's very fascinating about this wall. It's definitely like he was posted. I'm excited to. Yeah, you guys need to come over and get some eyes on it. Yeah. For sure. Come see my empty room with pinball. Wow.
Wow. It's in the garage. It's in that upper part by itself. They're so good. I had literally buy them every day. I feel like this is like the dinner meant of Oreos. Like you have it. They're so good. You have it at the end to clear your palate. I had three last night. So these are the lemon flavor, cream, Oreo. I'm over here. And they're good as far. Real refreshing. All right. No, like it's everything I wanted to think. Yeah. Nothing you don't want to be. That's a nine out of 10 right there. Yeah. 10 out of 10 put those in my mouth again. Well, so good. All right, Topper Gate, Allison Wunderland. All that company makes now are big Lebowski's. I didn't order one yet. Jesus edition. Looks cool. But anyway, I saw a price tag. And I was like, God, you guys stop buying these games. Anyway, yeah.
So I've gotten Toppers. A ton of people haven't got it. No one's gotten Toppers for like two months. There's been no Toppers. Like for a little while, they were like trickling out. And people, you know, certain distributors who were getting them and stuff were like, oh, we're getting palettes in or ship containers of them. And then they'd get like four and they'd go out. And anyway, nobody's had anything. So now there's been a new thread started. And it's literally to track everybody who has Toppers who doesn't have Toppers and all of that. And I almost was like, I almost put my information in because these people were bitching about like, they ordered it and the game showed up six months later. And you know, and then the Topper showed up two months later. And it's like, you guys serious right now. That's what you're bitching about. You got it, man. Yeah. Like two years out on the order. Still having a Topper. Just take one off the next one I see to show if it's coin takers. I was saying, that's who that was the Topper. Man, man, man, man. Whoa. Say what? As I've stated before with the whole thing, my issue, my bigger issue than the delay and the whatever else is how the tariffs and the pricing
and the shipping like you having to pay separate shipping for something that you've already paid shipping for and having to pay tariffs in addition to the tariffs that you already paid. Like how are you valuing this Topper outside of the game? And it doesn't help that. Well, yeah, because that was already figured into the original value. So that's what you paid the original bullshit on. Right. So I'm saying that most of the people who are at Dutch when this all happened Melvin and the other guy, they're all gone. And so now they're posting as American pinball employees on pin side saying like, well, you need to talk to Dutch about this or whatever. It's like, we tried, we tried. It's just like, this is just, this is like, the bad look. Yeah, it's not great. And I thought like what happened to back to the future? Nothing we normally talk about current things. This might be like a thing. This is like a crystal wall kind of thing or not a current thing. That's what it is. So it's funny that you bring that up. What about back to the future? I was scrolling through like, I keep a madman, like, you know how I am with notes and whatever else. So I've had a running list of pinball rumors for like the last two years that we've talked about
on this podcast and every time one comes to fruition, I delete it. And then there's, you know, do you like highlight it or something first and you're like, call it black and white. That was me. I get them all right. There's they on. They just go into the normal category. There's one left on my rumor list from two summers ago and call of duty. You did remember that one hard. Buy who? Stern. I keep hearing the ACDCs, the remastering. They remastered it how many times now? Yeah, well, I'm just saying that's what you're hearing. I do like ACDC though. What do they like Lucy? They did black and black and black. If you remaster a remaster, is it back to normal then? So it would be like the original. The original. Which version, somebody wanted to trade in a original premium to a, and I was like, which version's the best? Like which one with the cool art? What they call the Lucy? The Lucy. That's what I thought too when I was looking them up. If I was going to have fun, that would be it. That's Steve Reggie. No.
He does all the call outs on that like in his like black. We had that one for a minute. It was, it was nice. I was in a Lucy. That wasn't a Lucy. I've never seen you in 10 minutes. I'm like, I'm proud of myself. I think sometimes when I think about all the games I keep, I say to myself, I'm like, yeah, but you sold that ACDC. You know what? I'm going to go, I'm going to go for a meal. I'm going to go kiss because I've heard kisses. One's going to be another John Bork. Yeah. Keep doing Borky stuff. They just make more. They just keep him just keep him working. They're like, get it, get down there. Turn the heat up. Yes. The one that you, the one that you didn't kiss. He's the only office in Chicago. You can smoke and still. For real. It's great for somebody. That's in the contract. When I was scrolling through pictures and I was looking for something I came across, the Airbnb from Expo, I think when we recorded like the first episodes of this podcast and we took Flipr Football, you picked up your Batman 66. That's the one that that's like, I'm sure the eventually. The Gomez, right?
Yeah. I'm sure they'll eventually remake it and it'll all be for whatever. But at the time, at the time you just bought your GTF and we literally picked up GTF from American and I kept a bunch of other stupid shit, I think. And I think it was like it's still like a ten or twelve thousand dollar game. But just remember for all the shit that I give you and everyone else for about keeping games, I think about all the games you didn't keep. Yeah, like that, like that ACDC or that Frankenstein. Dude, I think about Frankenstein. I thought about it earlier today and we were talking. No. So because it didn't go to. I'm sure in everyone's photos or whatever you can search this or that or whatever. So I'm sure you kept that. I put it in Corbin the other day because I was looking for something. What was I looking for? I have no idea. I'm so scared of some sort. I'm so scared of some sort. I'm so scared of some sort of credit card. Anyway. And the two Frankenstein's together in your living room came up and I was like, that's right because I did have both of them at once. That was a really cool game. That was a game that's a good bargain. That's a good bargain. It's a good bargain. I just didn't, I just never really put a lot of time in it.
Then I got into it and I'm like, there's some stuff going on with this. And it played Frankenstein by Agroenter. It did. Yeah. I like the creaking. Yeah. Oh, I love that on the early speakers. Yeah, because I was just saying Rob Zovie does that too. I wish I was, I don't know what ever happened. I wish I was, I thought, I got excited for Minnet Thigh. I was going to get you that night driving or Batman. I'm Pittsburgh. You have to figure out what the story is. My offer is too low. Yeah. I need to circle back on that. I don't think he sold either of them. Maybe he just decided to keep them. That's fine. I wasn't trying to low ball. I literally was just trying to give him. No, you gave a nice explanation too of like, hey, this is where I would be at. Well, because he's like, he gave us no information. Like, what do you even think? He was looking for a Sonic, right? Yeah. Yeah, I don't think he ended up pulling the trigger. Sonic SC sitting. Put those two together. We might be able to talk. Fingers don't know. No, even though I need to bring some games to stop trees. How crazy is that bringing in Sega's for a Sega? Oh, just makes sense.
Make the world happy. So next event after PGX, after Expo, Corbin just agreed to potentially agree. I tend to agree. Tentatively. To come back before you start this thing. For Pinsonatti. What do they want? They just want us to bring like some weird shit. Yeah. We got the weird shit. The weird shit. Is there a hot tub of that? Hit that. Yeah. You guys. Do you remember? All I remember is rocking out in Kyle's car throwing sliders around. Do there were so many onions all over the world. And them closing it, turning off the lights, Corbin hiding, them turning the lights back on, and then the guy who had the bottle of Pinsonatti whiskey. Put it out on the rotationate. Like that was the time. Yeah. I know. Yeah. He was coming. He already took the time off. He took the time off. He said, he just wants his wings again.
That bird. And I cannot blame him. Hell of a fuck. Shout out Mel Carmo. Do you want to come with me? I guess Phil will come. So I guess I'll have to. If you've got two rooms, I'm in. I'm in. All right. For the weekend. Sounds good. If you're in, I just need some people. It's lonely. It's lonely out there. That's what we got to take like a dozen games. Yeah. The big trailer. All right. Let's take the soccer game. I saw you had the big trailer over at the education store. Yeah. Isn't my way out of like it. Just stacking it up. And then I reached out that room because somebody wanted to come look at it. So I took all of this. Like I'm tired of this trailer. I hear him loading all these games in there. Took it up there and just parked it up there. Did that guy or his wife or whatever get a hold of you about one to come and see some games? I don't know. Some people about pinball. Probably. Somebody call you about some pinball. Yeah. Every day. All right, carbon. Take me down the road of Taladeganites. I don't know a lot about it yet. So I'm good at that. I'm going to find out more. But here's what we know. Here's what we got. I'll give you a full background the other night a couple of weeks ago.
I was down it. You know that a local establishment of Venice arcade in Parlor. Uh-huh. I was there pinball night. So sometimes I'll go down and I'll to visit mostly just visit Kyle. And some other people. And they won't make you fix it. Yeah, I mean, that's I know I'm getting to. Yeah. So I normally go down and I hang out or whatever. And Kyle like shows me on Facebook, I think. Yeah. Some guy had a play few. Right. And it was a is for NASCAR, but it was Taladegan nights. Yeah. And I'd never seen it in cells like, wow, this is crazy. So I didn't do anything about it. Went home in a week or two later. I was thinking about it one morning. I started fucking around on the pin side. And I found some guy who had one for sale. And he had the same same guy probably. He's in Indiana or Illinois or something that way. And he has art blades. I think so. Most two on the plastic. No plastics. No plastics. No plastics. Oh, I think I'm going to have a plastic. He never translate. I need to find a translate. You can get that printed. For sure. So either way I got it all, I, it's sorry, my message.
I've worked out a deal for the package. He'll be at expo. So we'll just pick it up. Oh, yeah. But the thing is, it's a stern playfield. It's a new old stock stern playfield. So stern made these alternative playfields. And so I have not dug into it yet. Did they actually know? It's supposedly stern thing. And I looked it up and I found other places where it stated that stern made a run of these. Talladeganites playfields. And then on the, on the stern. Translates I see or on the Talladeganites. Translates it has a stern logo in the top left like they are on all that era of a game. So it seems like it was in some, which then leads me to like, is there. So we have the. Yeah, as I was just going to say, is there code out there for it? Are there plastics out there for it? Like, what else out is out there? So all we have now, we have the playfield in the art blade. So I'm, I'm going to try to find or. We could always try to. Use like a fast system or something to do it. What about the dude out on the how border you might have trans he has so many translates. You might have one pay sack if they were available at some point. He bought a bunch of them. If you're listening to this podcast right now and you have information on the Talladeganites NASCAR conversion.
Zach, who should they email? FreshPimballGemo.com. Thank you, Zach, which also have another interesting pay sack back. So anyway, that's all I got on the Talladeganites thing. More to come. I bought what I found so far. Yeah. And why not? I mean, NASCAR is fine, but I think Talladeganites would be cooler. So either we're on NASCAR or we'll just get another NASCAR in the verdict. So it made with the pay sack. So we were moving something out. Rotation eight. Oh, yeah, yeah. Of sleeping. Yeah, yeah. And Don was sitting around doing Don and stuff. Yeah, watching your host work. And so we're rolling out and he's like, that's one of those games. You know, that came out of a dumpster. And we're like, what do you mean? And he's like, basically, he said that at one point, the manufacturer midway paid all the operators to dumpster them. Yeah, giving their money back. You gave them their money back because there was, if you left the ball in it when you tried to move it, it would fall into the bottom and blow stuff up. Which is like, we've had it for how long and worked on it all kinds of times. And we have not done that. Like I understand how it's like.
And it's not rare for us to leave the ball and something. No, no, no. Don't feel personally attacked. I forgot to put the card in. No. We have a recording ship. Start over boys. What did we say? So anyway, I thought that was that was a random one. I guess I heard parts of that before, but it was interesting to hear it again. We need to go out to Mike's. We do. It's just crazy to take that. Yeah. It makes sense. There was a talking about the whole dumpster thing. And we have been, he's, he reminded me, we haven't paid in the past like AMI will do that or different companies will do that. If you buy new jukeboxes and you show us that you are destroying, getting rid of old ones or other manufacturers. Yeah, you have to send them the proof. They, uh, then they give you credit for it. So you never do. But. You're going to probably should have. Very interesting. Mike has some crazy, crazy, crazy stuff.
He was at Creepin. We saw him scootin' around. Yeah, to the Ohio show and early pin bruise and whatever else he'd bring out. His got Lee Brooks and Dunn prototype and he just. It's got some words of stuff for sure. Some tonnage. Yeah. Kyle, did you see the home pin post the other day? They, they produce two more blues brothers and they were. And they were shipping them to whoever the customer was. Not in the US though. Not in the US. Yes, really. Yes, what? No, it was like Asia somewhere in Asia. Taiwan or whatever. Okay. Yes, what the delivery vehicle that had these two home pins, not box. Just on legs. What they were being transported in. Head up or down. Head down. I have you a Volkswagen Swartz, right? It was a tuck tuck. A tuck tuck? Oh, yeah. Nice. I saw that picture and I'm like. I'm like, overset will be happy with that. Was that his little tuck, tuck down there? Down that. It's a bolt of each. That's right.
So crazy times with all that. Final little item for me for the Willett Fit category. Thank you, Mitch, for sending me the picture the other day of a customer who came out and picked up a Transformers from you and they were able with. Did he sell Transformers? He sold his Transformers. Nice. Good. I had removed from the pinball machine it fit into a Tesla Model X. Oh, I saw that. I saw that. Yeah. Okay. But I will say, you know, Su-Su will concur. It's not that hard to take the heads off these games anymore. Not really. You can be in a shit, though. It is. It's the first time we did that with that rolling stones. Oh, yeah. He wanted me to rewonder it again. I kind of just was not into it because of that situation. I think we should have had a doctor call him be like, I'm sorry, you can't have another one after your wife had like carpal tunnel or whatever. That's right. Tendonitis or whatever she got because they were playing pinball so much. And the first time the only one rolling stones back. I'm like, guys, there's lots of other good games out there.
When I talked to what's his name, Tony, he wants his rolling stones back. Fuck no. He's like, my wife's pissed. He's still having that like, of course, he's still having it. Does he have that Tron? Oh, I should ask him that. I would give her that rolling stone. Dude. I really like this. It's fine. I was looking at that picture of the other day. All power balls. Fucking. Obviously rolling stones. Yes. Star Trek, Ellie and Tron. And I'm like, if we could get that Tron, we'd have all three. If he smokes us ribs, we'll take it back. Oh, shit. I talked to him about that. He hit me up for King Kong topper. And I was like, dude, you made it so it was like, I'll give you 100 bucks off. Seriously. I'm like, this address, the delivery I can't get to my house. I'm like, oh, I remember. Sounds good. Yeah, we'll be there. Do we have time for two more quick things for me? We always have time. Perfect. We're an hour or two. All right. This is a serious, serious pinball. Oh. This isn't like, eat cookie fun time or. No, no, you could definitely eat those.
This is a serious pinball situation. Zach, do you know the difference for Stern between a cornerstone release and a studio release? The one is like, like, the Beatles was one of them in the studio and then the rest are just, you know, the normal production, right? Exactly. So normal production, the three a years, a cornerstone, a studio release would be like to Zach's point, like Beatles or Elvira or Batman 6 to 6. So typically, something that doesn't have a fucking pro. Yeah. There's not a pro typically. They almost did that with Fallout. Let me finish. All right. Sorry. Don't jump ahead here. I'm just thinking that loud. No, you're exactly right. Is that, basically, traditionally always had a higher price. Higher price point. A lot of time, Kapal, Joe Kamikawa, or whoever, brings the license to Stern or brings the designer, like with Elvira, Nordman, to Stern, and hey, I'm bringing you this game. Hey, here's your former employee. He was causing back in the day.
I don't remember. He was stupid money. Comparatively. Yeah, it was. I remember them telling us the price and us being like, wow, okay. Okay, we'll dig one. It's Beatles. What does do the gold? I don't need the diamond. Diamond is cool. Is that what was that clip in? We saw the diamond. But it was cool. The back was. The back was cool. The top was cool. But the diamond, the powder cutting in the bar almost looked like a normal like crumb bar. Yeah. So Fallout started out essentially as a studio title. It was, I don't know why because of how loaded they wanted to do this game. So it was brought in as this. This is confirmed. Yeah. So George was talking about it. He's talked about it at the presentation of, hey, this is why this person with one of the makers of Fallout, one of the Ellie and one of the OG R game art and all of that stuff. That's why this is. And then this is the Amazon side of it. And it all just like kind of came together. But they've been working on this game for like three years trying to bring it into market.
So it started. What's that? Okay. Yeah. So it started out as one of these studio titles where it was like, hey, there's no budget on this game for, you know, for Max and for whatever else because they thought at the end of the day, we're going to price it at whatever we wanted to price and then ended up bringing it in and saying, okay, well, this is just going to be a normal cornerstone. What do we take off? And it's like, well, what do you take off of that? So they did to get a pro. You don't have the lower play field and you don't have the fat boy launcher. I saw a person played both of them because they, he took some games, the Cleveland gaming classic. You say like the pro better. The pro is definitely fast. I mean, it was like stupid, stupid, quick and being a good player like, but I thought it was fascinating to hear like more clarification of I already knew the differences between the two, but that game started its life as, you know, a much higher budgeted game that then migrated into the next game.
It's going to be the regular pricing. Yes. That's what they claim. And it believes it when I see it always will believe it when I see it. I'm prediction. What's your prediction? I think that he's not allowed to get trouble. Yeah, I don't get you to travel. What's a prediction? I feel like it's a little bit of a water tester like your test and water is a little bit and I think that they're going to, they won't, the next one won't be up to, but I see in the foreseeable future. The next one's going to be out of the box. This will be, this will be the model. Eventually, this will be the price in the structure. I think this is a test run. And they're going to do the old structure for another gamer to just to, I thought it was fascinating to see with the L.E. They bumped it up the full thousand and I mean, with a game that's an L one, with a game that's hot, I mean, it was highly, highly, highly desired. I don't like anybody even bad at a night. Like some of the operators might be a little bit good. I get it because it's like obviously on this one. Rightfully so. If you want the premium you're looking at, you're getting up into that 10 range.
I mean, that's, that's a lot of money. That's a long time to pay. It's a long time to pay. Yeah, it's a long time to pay that back. You're getting in as you're going to get your jack territory at that point. Oh, yeah. I mean, that's an arcade version. Yeah, yeah. Which should also be seen some of those soon. Did you see the production thing? No. No, why would I get that? No one gives me either. Sorry. I thought that was the one who doesn't get anything anymore. So are they bill number one? Are they postponement? It's old January now. Potters are going back on the line. They're not going to finish off the. So you're already cranking on the side. Why not just finish them? I thought you knew just cranking on like Jersey Jagger. Dear Corbin, I hope you are well. I say dear Corbin. We really appreciate your patience while we worked through all the details of our production schedule. I'm sorry. Seriously. This is not real. You guys ready for final thoughts? No. No. No. Kyle, let's start with you. I have a tease. Yeah. Tease. So please, we're all the other three of us are trying not to say anything because we don't
I don't know exactly what I'm saying. So I've been teasing a Western New York location and we've been looking for a while now in Corbin and I have heard it together and I don't have many details but somewhere between Buffalo. Go ahead and forward that to yourself. Thanks. You've been so worked up over there. I'm sure he is. Sorry. I legitimately thought you got between the area and Buffalo. We have a serious heavy location coming. We can talk about it too much but it's going to be pretty nice. Pinball heavy, all the things that you love with all the people that you love. Yeah, all the things. Like it's I don't want to speak for you but it feels like a real dream coming true or it's like you can take something that you're pat things that you are passionate about. A few hours in between is the only thing that's a little annoying for me. Yeah. Just because I can't come out as much as I need to be. You'll be there.
I'm just trying my best. Exciting times. Trying to do the cast is fucking bullshit. Zach, final thoughts? I'm excited to see what happens in the future in New York. That's for sure. Hell yeah. Hell yeah. And you know, as always get out there, play some pinball. Flip it, flip, flip, flip. Be kind to each other. It's always nice to get together with our pinball pals. Our pinball pals. Yeah, take the dog. He's always around. I haven't rubbed his belly often enough. Corbin? I don't know any thoughts. I don't know. I'm just gonna let this one die. Just gonna. We have not played any pinball. There's not even a single pinball turned on in the house. You think I'm leaving on that playing pinball? It's why fire be put on you and the other. Yeah. Come on. I don't even know about any. We just need to be done. I don't even know about any of these people anymore. This is all just... Anything nice to say. I don't. I'm just like all of this is wild. It's yeah. It's crazy world of it living. It is.
This is like the first on the Harry Potter's and now on this. He's stop ordering his dog. I'm done. It makes no sense. There's no way to even get it like to even do any of this. That was initial. Those were initial run off the bat. Those arcades were initial orders like from when it was announced. So explain to me. And you're telling me we can't film now until maybe December. As a person who should be in the know why some distributors are out there with extra units that are just sitting out there ready to go right now and then other distributors are sitting there with no. I forgot that Jeff doesn't work for Matt Bimol. He's not the same or the fuck he wants to. This doesn't make sense. I'm not really that worried about being. It says PC as it needs to be. It's like just the reality of all. I'm just baffled by it all. I don't even understand what we're supposed to do with no chances. It's impossible to communicate effectively with people and like give them actual real-time information whenever it's seems constantly getting flocks.
You're going to have to refund those people. That's gone. Yeah. Not a fun time. So my final thought. Jesus fucking Christ. What a somber fuck. Is that I'm going to wrap up this podcast and give Corbin hug because Corbin needs a hug right now. He's more in the fucking hug. I'm not giving him a hug and tug. That's right around him. All right, Dutch writer. We'll do what we've got to do. See where it means the dream. Kyle, if you could play us out with the Fresh Pinball Podcast, Matt Pinball Jingle situation here. Thank you all for tuning in for another rambling tasty episode of the Fresh Pinball Podcast. It's fresh. Freshest. It's kind of fresh. Let me talk.
