We are going to answer some questions I asked in the no ceilings discord that you get access to by signing up for no ceilings plus to ask some questions early on in this draft cycle that I can answer for you. We're going to start it off with hashtag free taris. Who is my favorite transfer up candidate to go in the first round? Now I'm going to give a list of four or five guys. I don't know if any of them are going to have enough juice to go in the first round, but they're my favorite transfer up candidates. There might be an outside shot that one of these guys works their way in. I have a few of them in that range for sure. The first guy, this is somebody who I talked about last year and he is transferring up to DePaul via woofard. That's Camari Holmes. He's like a six four strong athletic combo guard who can get his own shot is a nifty

passer, really disruptive defensively. A little rough around the edges with his shooting consistency from outside, but like this is a dude who's comfortable pulling up off the bounce workable form. His game reminds me a little bit of like Tyree Gevens. I think with the two way ability and now him getting to play in the big east and show off on a big stage, I think he's got a real opportunity because he does have the physical tools. He does have the strength. He's shifty with the ball. He gets downhill. He can get up, play above the rim. He's got some nifty finishes around the hoop. I think the DePaul team is going to be fun. I'm really excited to get to watch them in the big east and get to see Camari Holmes play up close. I think he's really interesting just because as far as the transfer ups go, he has the athletic pop and the NBA build and frame, I think to up on the radar.

Another guy that I'm really interested in is Nolan Minisale, who is headed to Marquette via St. Thomas. This is like a 6'4. Again, probably a combo guard, but somebody who I think can run offense and has some really nifty playmaking way more athletic than you think gets downhill. Really quick and bursty can defend just a really heavy high field dude who can guard on the other end. His thing again, it's going to come down to the shooting and the consistency. I think his form is pretty clean. To me, getting the volume up and just being more confident as a shooter, I think that'll go a long way for him. I think he's going to look really, really great in that Marquette system. Again, there's a big east guy. I'm excited personally, being in New York, getting an opportunity to see him a few times this year. Let's go to a big man I'm excited about.

Andrew McEver, who's go to Iowa, played at St. Mary's. He is one of these seven footers who's a real deal passing hub. Really has some insane passing feel for his size. He is one of the centers that he can move, but he's a long torso, short legs guy. We'll see how he holds up defensively in the big 10 night after night. I think that bigs who could pass like that and have the offensive feel and the ability that he has at his size, he could be a really interesting candidate. Ryan Prather, head to Iowa State, the Aurobert Morris. He's like a six five, kind of like a stocky guard. He can really shoot the rock. He's a really good passer. A lot of these shooting specialists, dudes, don't necessarily have passing juice.

I think he had a 20 plus percent assist percentage last year. He had some real passing juice. Iowa State is going to really put him in a situation to show off his ability to be a high impact offensive player and then guard with mom silovich leaving. It's a lot of opportunity for them to, for somebody to step up as a shooter. He's somebody who I think could look really cool in that role too. Those are four guys again. I don't know necessarily if these are the kind of guys that you're looking at that are going to go in the first round. As we'll hit a little bit later on, this is a quote unquote perceived weaker draft class. In that, that breeds opportunity for guys to maybe potentially rise a little bit higher than the otherwise would have. My best bet would probably be Kamari Holmes just because he's young. There's still some upside that you can bet on and then he just has physical tools and

athleticism and the body and the frame of an NBA dude. He would be my bet. He is a little off the radar. If he struggles with the efficiency, he's going to be somebody who's just going to come back and make a ton of money in college. I think for me, it's those four guys and we'll see other people who pop up during the year. As far as my preseason research goes, maybe another guy, I'll give one more shout. Paulus Morowskis, who and I wrote about Paulus Morowskis for my uncut gem series on no ceilings NBA.com. He's like a 6'8, like 3'4, definitely offensively. He could probably play either of those spots, really good in the mid post, turn over his shoulders, knock down like faders, really good footwork on the block. He was 84% for the free throw line last year, which is huge if that holds up and that's

real because he's been like a middling three point shooter. He shoots threes, he'll get them up, but if he sees the same improvement that he saw at the free throw line from the three point line, this is a dude because 6'8 dudes who can go get buckets, those dudes are always valuable. He went to St. Mary's, he was a teammate of McKeefer last year and he is headed to Arizona state to play with Dylan Shaw, who's another guy who you could probably make an argument for as like a 3'1D wing who could pop up in the first round radar for sure. Aiden to Bison, you know, was interesting too, was another one of those guys. He had a really good showing at the Jelig Elite Camp, so that's definitely a name to put on your radar as well. There's a lot of guys that could pop up on the radar, but when we come back, we're going to talk about my guys in this class that is coming up after the break.

Running a business shouldn't feel like you're trying to connect a bunch of systems that were never designed to work together. One app for accounting, another for inventory, another for sales, and somehow none of them talk to each other. That's where Odo comes in. Odo is an all-in-one business management software that brings every part of your business together in one powerful platform, from sales and accounting to inventory and marketing, everything works in one place. Odo is one platform to manage, grow, and scale your business. The best organizations know that success isn't just about talents, about having everyone work toward the same goal. They are back to being a top-of-the-big east, and Tunde Yasefu transfers another piece of that bigger vision. It feels like everybody is finally on the same page in Queens. Patino has a plan, the players are buying into it, and the roster keeps getting better because of it. Great organizations win because operations matter. That's why you should get Odo.

Over back, let's get right back into the next question in the Q&A. Coming from the No Sealings Plus Discord, Weirdos 1221 asked your guys in this class quite simply. I'm going to run through a few. My guy as far as potential blue chip guys goes is Christian Collins, who was headed to USC. He's a 6'8", 6'9", swing forward. He is my guy in the same way that Brandon Miller was my guy coming into the year when I said he was a top 5 pick, the way that Caleb Wilson last year was my guy when I said that he was going to be a top 5 pick. The same way that Jair's Walker was my guy when I thought he was going to be a top 5 pick.

You don't bat 100% folks. You don't bat 100%. But I think that Christian Collins has a chance to be one of those guys. Because dudes who are that tall, who are athletic and who can handle the rock, and he has some really nuanced handle at that size. He is bendy and wiggly and shifty. He's got good setups when he's running ball screens. He could pass better than any high school numbers indicate if you actually sit down and you watch the tape. There's a lot of really advanced nuance stuff in there. He had some really high highs during his senior season. I got a chance to watch him at the Nike hoop summit in person. I saw that he was coachable and he was actually able to execute when a coach would say something and go put it into practice when that situation arose again.

He rebounds the ball. He plays tough. He's a two way guy. Now I don't feel as confident as I felt with Caleb Wilson or as I felt with Brandon Miller about Christian Collins due to the fact that the USC situation is weird. I've heard some weird stuff about that situation behind the scenes. It's a loaded roster with a bunch of guys who makes it harder on you to shine potentially. There's a lot of talent. No doubt about the talent there. I'm excited that Albert's going to get a chance to see them a ton of close. Christian Collins also was in a walking boot last month. I don't know if there's been anything reported. I tried reaching out to some people in the league and they said they were trying to do their due diligence with that. We'll see with all of that stuff as we head into the season, but he would be my bet to be the guy as far as the McDonald's All-American blue chip types that potentially is going

a little bit off the radar. I was just so impressed by his film and I really liked what I saw in person with him. I think that he's got a chance just because you can't teach 6869 and these teams are going to fall in love with these guys. I have him in my top three and we did an episode on him on this feed so you can go back and see my in-depth thoughts and scouts on him or you can go to, you know, I posted my scouting notes on Twitter. So my raw notes, I actually even set up the site so you can follow along and see what I think of his game there. Another guy, Derek Dixon, who was at UNC last year, is now headed to Arizona. I really like his game, 6465 Guard. I thought he looked really good in the international exhibitions that Arizona played. You know, nothing, like, doesn't have a special to him, but like, good passer.

I think he could shoot, like he's got a good frame. He's just a guy who I think, like, he's going to play in the league. He could either play like 12 years or he can be somebody that, you know, struggles to make it because maybe the efficiency isn't there. Like, it wasn't at UNC. But I think that Arizona team, obviously, eyes are going to be on them, you know, with, you know, crevice and Caleb Holt and Carl Changov and the expectations that they have to win an addy. So there's going to be a lot of eyes and opportunity on him just as there were last year with Caleb Wilson. So Derek Dixon's another guy that I really like. Then now I'm going to talk about my small guards. If you've been following me, Y'all know I love myself a small guard. Regardless of the NBA's affinity, I think there are guys worth betting on. Miles Sadler, Dog, absolute dog. This dude was so impressive at the Nike hoop summit, willing that team to be competitive. The only reason that team, that game was competitive is because he was able to beat the pressure

that the US team was applying to him. He's headed to West Virginia, by the way. Now he's like six foot, maybe, but like just an absolute speed demon. You cannot stay in front of him. He can knock down shots from distance with range, gets into the paint, makes plays for others. Like a real deal leader holds guys accountable. Like, well, is not afraid to get in your face if you are not giving the effort that he's getting. And defensively, I don't care how small he is. That dude is going to make an impact on the game. He's going to make you work at the point of attack. He's going to be in the passing lanes. Dog. John Moby Jr. is my guy. I wrote about him. I've been covering him since he was in high school. Best shooter in the world. Best shooting prospect in the world. He's listed it now at 6'2", 190 on Ohio State's website. He was listed at 175 as a freshman. Ohio State posted a picture of all of their guys flexing with their shirts off. He looks like he's in great shape. And this is just a dude. I think he's the best shooting prospect in the world.

I'm going to spoil alert. He'll be an uncut gem on the guard series. But this is a dude who was at like 14 1 1 2 1 3s for 100 possessions and was at like 41% from 3. He had a down year at the free throw line and shot 86 1 1 2 1 2 3 throw line compared to the year before we were at 88%. His big thing is the finishing and the playmaking volume. Now the playmaking volume, you know, he shared the ball with Bruce Thornton a lot last year who dominated it and I think, you know, dribble the air out of the ball at times. So he should have the keys. I mean, there's other guys in that back court for sure that he's going to be sharing the floor with and part of the appeal of him is that he can play honor off the ball. But I hope that he's actually taking the reins and becoming the primary playmaker. And that assist rate goes from like 17 or whatever to like close to 30. And I hope his usage goes from 24 to closer to 30 because I truly believe that this is an offensive engine. I just his shooting is otherworldly. He has range out to the logo. The first shot he ever hit in college against Texas playing against trade Johnson was a logo

three like the audacity in some of these shots. So John Molley Jr. Shooting props back in the world. He's my guy. I don't care. You know about his shortcomings. And then as Ed Johnson who's headed to Colorado this year or was that Colorado last year is headed to Texas this year. Lefty guard son of trainer Chris Johnson who works with all the best pros. And he is just I mean the efficiency during his freshman year was outrageous. Like this dude is such an offensive dynamo at every level. And last year you know he didn't get to show it with playmaking volume. But I think he's really capable of operating ball screens and really make some nuanced reads. And I think I hope that it Texas he gets the keys similar to Molley where he gets to have the ball in his hands a lot and show that he's more than just a score. But he can also run an offense at a high level. So those are the guys that I'm like most excited to watch. I mean obviously I'm excited to watch a lot of the top guys but the guys who I really have an affinity for those are my guys. So when we come back we're going to talk about the perceived bad draft class and how I

approach those situations that is coming up after the break. Alright we got a couple more questions. First by Dave B how does a class being bad change how you scout and approach a class if at all. For me I approach everything the same strong class bad class I just go to the games I watch the film I look at the numbers I talk to people around the league and I form honest transparent

conclusions. I'm somebody who I don't really look at rankings from other services necessarily because I don't want my opinion to be formed based on somebody else's opinion. I try to just rank guys based on how I see it. I'm also at the point as an evaluator where I'm confident enough to if I do look at those rankings I can just be like I disagree and I'm going to call my shot and I'm going to put Christian columns at my top three even though you know their lists that might have them at 25 or don't even have them as a you know one and done prospect because you know it's the preseason right now I'm going to call my shots and I will change my perception and my feelings on players based on the new information that comes in. So my approach doesn't change though I think that these classes are maybe even more fun than the classes where you have a Cooper flag or you know a debonzer a guy like that I think having the opportunity when there is no clear cut number one guy or when your

number one guy might have you know potential bad intel I could scare you away for whatever reason like I think that it's fun to be able to call your shot confidently and not go along with what the consensus might feel about you know a no brainer pick it's easy to get Victor Wembley-Arma right right but you know 2024 right you get Risha Shea when there are a lot of other guys you know and Risha shea was a guy who I had like the back of my lottery or maybe even later than that I don't really remember because I just wasn't into it so you know I had somebody else I had clinging it one you know I had read it to castle at three like I was 80 top 10 like I call your shots you know you're going to get some right you're going to get some wrong so it doesn't approach change my approach it just becomes a little bit more difficult and meaningful if you were actually picking at the top to get those things right I'm going to sneak one last question in diesel dynastie

s where you're off the radar or guys like off most boards break out picks it could go high this year things go right I'm going to pick another guy that I covered for uncut gems uh Alexandros Samadurav who is going to be playing at North Carolina uh he's coming all over from uh panatheacos in Greece first caught my eye uh at the U20s in 2025 I believe it was when I was watching for Neo of Dallas um you know it was when he was getting some first round buzz I've never really saw it I was like all right let me tap into the U20s and see what's up get the preseason it's summer like of course I'm going to watch you know international ball uh to keep me uh satisfied from my basketball cravings I just couldn't take my eyes off Samadurav he's 6-11 fluid two-way high-feel um low maintenance you know and that's a rub like he's got all these cool elements to his game but like he's not you don't give him the rock and tell him to go cook

like that's not his game but um at 6-11 you know somebody who's like always been around or above like a two-to-one assist or turnover ratio who could really pass makes quick decisions 0.5 basketball 6-11 like always has a block percentage over five Euro League experience playing with pros playing against pros um he's going to go to UNC play for Michael Malone who is an NBA coach for a really long time uh he's gonna play with Neo of Dallas again it's somebody who he has chemistry with I don't really love obdolus's game or really believe in him as a pro but certainly he's going to have chemistry playing with him as they both played for Greece together uh you know through the years and um I just think that because he's like legit tall he's got a real nice path to like breaking out on radars now even though it's his you know freshman season or whatever he'll be 22 on draft night so it's not like he's super young um by any means but he's got pro experience so I think he's going to be able to handle the college game fairly well he's always pretty efficient

despite the fact that his three-point shot needs to get better um it does it really does but um his form is clean and you can go check out my full write-up on no ceilings NBA calm uh to see what I think of him but that that's kind of my off the radar guy who I don't know if he's going to be on any boards I don't even think he's on our board but he's on my board um I have him as a potential late first round pick so um yeah so that's some of the ruff uh thanks for tuning in today to locked on NBA draft with no ceilings we will be uh back next week so make sure you subscribe and follow locked on NBA draft with no ceilings so you get all the latest episodes follow us on socials at no ceilings NBA you can follow me at Corey Talibah uh now on video we send you to the first ever 24-7 YouTube channel on the NBA and on audio check out locked on NBA follow along this week as experts debate and reveal the 2026 locked on NBA top 100 players thanks for listening y'all um I'm out peace
