Thank you. Thank you so much Aaron for inviting me. Now you are a long time independent journalist now you've written for for different outlets in the past and you're also running for Congress. We'll put a link to your substack which I recommend everybody check out. But can you tell us about the campaign for for Congress because Congress needs to be cleaned up and how are you going to how are you going to try to do that? I'm going to try to do that by we we're going to be on the ballot in November. The green party here in Maryland got busy and got the requisite number of signatures. It got on the ballot and started not
going at my door. The so-called representative here is Glenn Ivy who came in to Congress in 2022 on a flood of APEC money knocked out down Edwards who is a reformist Democrat. He's very much a corporateist and a complete tool of APEC. I think he's the fifth biggest recipient of APEC and other pro-Israel money and he's corrupting a whole bunch of other ways as well. He was he even was opposed to Obama's Iran deal and you know, Raynaugh and met with Netanyahu while he was slaughtering hundreds of people a day and is generally a corporate tool of the big tech and so on. So represents pretty much everything wrong with Congress. You'd say right. And how long is that in there? Just since 2022. And you know, it's a very very deep blue district. The Republican has 0% chance of winning. So
you know, part of my pitch is there's absolutely no reason not to vote your conscience. And I really hope that your conscience is genocide and anti-corruption and so on. And you know, I'm connecting with Latino community here, students at the University of Maryland. You know, it's a district that right now has allowed itself to live very much in the shadow of official Washington or just outside of Washington, DC here. It's mostly Prince George's County and a chunk of Montgomery County. But I'm trying to reverse that and make it an instrument to compel Washington, official Washington to live in the shadow of the consciences of the people in this district and get around the country and around the world. Yes. And the world public opinion and even American public opinion is is shifting away from this Zionist sort of. I don't think it was ever exactly a
consensus. It was more of a among the political class it was. And in the public, it was just sort of a general, I don't know, acquiescence or apathy maybe about really understanding the situation too much or looking too much into it, which began to change as the Gaza genocide unfolded and was being live streamed essentially. Now candidates are some candidates are even declining APAC money because they don't want to be associated with them in that way. So do you feel that in your district the attitude has changed enough to give you a more of a foothold than you would in another election season? I think a lot of people have been waking up to it and I think that that is hopefully galvanizing some people. I mean the big hurdle is just simply not running as a Democrat. You know, because they're you know, Justice Demran in the primary and I wasn't going to split the anti-IV vote so that wouldn't have been strategic forming in any case. But just simply
you know, being so deep blue and so obsessive about you know, Trump's going to cancel the election and all this kind of stuff I think has shut off a lot of people's brains. So I'm sort of fighting that and really trying to focus on the actual policies in particular around Israel, around the Iran War and so on. And this also is this election is going to be I guess, you know, more a month past or a month and change past the anniversary, the 25th anniversary of 9-11. There's a big event in New York and I was at the event last time and it was in DC. But this time they're doing it in New York City and I'm not going I'm not going up there this time but I know people that are Roger Waters will be there among other people. So it should draw a lot of attention to this. Are more people connecting 9-11 which obviously kicked off this string of neo-con wars for
greater Israel in the 21st century? Do you think do you think that more people are starting to connect this to designism? I wouldn't say like just put such a fine point eyes to say like Israel in 9-11. The neo-conservatives seem to be the big suspect for 9-11 and they seem driven by Zionists in the US and elsewhere. So what's the significance of the anniversary of 9-11 at this moment when support a sort of consensus is emerging about Zionism that is not positive? Yeah absolutely. I think that you know people you mentioned how a lot of people have woken up to Israel over the last several years with a live stream genocide in Gaza. But you know back in like 1987 with the first intifada was a big time where a lot of people woke up to it and there was some movement and some push and pull and then 9-11 you know sort of brought that to a screeching halt and of course you had you know cluster of neo-cons with their you know a new Pearl
Harbor and in the 1990s the clean break document so you had a lot of Zionist forces in the United States and Israel laid a groundwork for Israel and the US establishment working hand and glove to dominate the region and much else. I mean you know nine I have not become a major student of 9-11 in part because when 9-11 happened I mean I was focusing on Iraq and the machinations around the possibility of the US contingent the sanctions were in place and they were obviously going to attack Iraq with the pretext of weapons and mass destruction. So I was focusing on demolishing those lies in the hopes of either preventing the invasion or at least making the lies more transparent and the invasion more difficult but I have looked a good amount into the anthrax
tax people might recall they were a false flag we know this a false flag by a weapons attack on Congress that Congress never investigated. The FBI. A lone not false flag is the official story of the Saudi. Yeah well I mean not even not per se they tried to pin it on a couple of people and the cases apparently fell apart there and then they pinned it on Bruce Ivan who's a scientist and oh well I mean I shift first back off I mean the false flag you know the anthrax was put in through the mail as death to America death to Israel prays to Allah. Right so whoever sent those things obviously intended for the culprit to be perceived as an evil Arab or Muslim in this
happen right after 9-11 the senators who were targeted were the ones who were most opposed to the so-called Patriot Act which the Chinese Bush want to was trying to ran down everybody's throat at the time and that obviously got through eventually the government pins it on this scientist and then some independent investigators discovered that the anthrax force could not have come from Iran or any of the alleged culprits that they were basically US made although they could have come from US Allied labs either in Britain or Israel. Amerithrax so you had any of those three would be a possibility these are all countries whose security services are riddled with new conservative false hardlines on this actors etc. Absolutely so the FBI eventually pins it on this lone scientist
Bruce Ivan's alleged motive is that he was trying to get more funding for bio so-called defense which I think is a big problem but I really doubt that and even Leahy one of the senators who was targeted you know outright told Moller head of the FBI in 2008 when he finally got him before his committee and said that he in no way shape or form believed that Bruce Ivan's could possibly have done all of this by himself. People associated with the sophisticated production you know and research aspects of this didn't they also say that he didn't have the technical that he didn't have the things around him that he would have needed to be he didn't have access to the things he would have needed to weaponize the spores this way that it was extremely sophisticated weaponized in a way that you would have needed access to more of the facilities than he had access
to as I understand it. Yeah I think that that that was one major hurdle of the you know establishment narrative and then the other was just simply like logistically one person couldn't have mailed those things from those different locations on their own and I mean there's you know a ton more on the anthrax attacks per se that can and should be done and that there was a congress person a whole to himself was a scientist and he every year would put forward a resolution saying let's investigate anthrax attacks and congress never never did it. So it's kind of ironic me you know sort of having done some work on this and the fact that you know I'm running for congress and so that will be they made one main thing that I will I actually went this morning to the
male facility in Brentwood where some postal workers were killed they were like literally collateral damage and trying to get a hold of their families you know I mean that they've never been offered an explanation as to who actually killed their their their their loved ones and that was from handling the letters the unowned letters. Yeah yeah Morris and Mcmakee I think was the other gentleman's name but they were you know just to to I don't know if there were some spillage or something of the anthrax wars so I'm trying to connect with them Ellen or Holmes Norton the congressperson in DC put out a statement every year honoring them but their office apparently isn't in touch with the family so I'm trying to be. Right yeah that's I mean that was a huge scandal the story never made any sense even Glenn Greenwald who's you know more got a foot a toe at least
in the mainstream he wrote about this for salon back in the day and they're there but they're the the press mostly ignored this even though it was never resolved in any good way and if the press really was the free press that it's supposed to be they wouldn't have let that go but we know that that's not the way they operate it's funny the the screeple case is another one with the same thing happens it's like this makes no sense and yet nobody nobody gives a shit yeah it's funny that the the plaque at the Brentwood facility actually says never forget the whole time like everybody's freaking forgotten this so I'm gonna try to be doing what I can in terms of that case because it really you know it sort of sheds it puts 9-11 in in a different light when you consider that the anthrax and also government officials were given sipro before the anthrax attacks happen so that also indicates affirmative knowledge by a good deal of the establishment that
these attacks were gonna come down so there's massive numbers of reasons to you know to perceive this as what you would call a deep state event and and it also sheds light onto onto the 9-11 attacks themselves right and didn't it does relate to 9-11 in another way because and I haven't gone back to look at look into this for several years but as I recall Muhammad Ata as he was going around doing his sort of strange sort overtly speak you know obvious bizarre behavior that seemed related to dare is like at one point he's like talked about getting alone for to buy a crop duster or something like this and there was some there was some discussion or or at some point anthrax enters the discussion up during that phase of his you know career of sort of sheep dipping himself in a particular way it seems because it was so over the top so there's a there's anthrax links to
hijackers in oblique ways as I recall yeah I believe so and then the ramifications you know we say it was forgotten but it was actually incredible useful to the establishment because you basically had Dick Cheney who oversaw much of this help put in place uh uh Fauci in his pivotal role at NIH in order to basically juice up so-called bio defense work which is critical to me here in Maryland because we have the largest so-called bio defense facility at Fort Deutreque where where the anthrax could well have come from um and um so you had this massive increase in spending in so-called bio defense actually bio warfare with making pathogens more badly and so on um uh such that in 2005 you had 700 scientists send a petition to Fauci saying you're totally
distorting our field by pouring all of this money into this uh this kind of work and Fauci basically uh response to them saying you know this the American people have told us that they want this work done he's talking about Bush Cheney there so this work will be done so it's a matter of will it happen through other agencies he means the CIA or the uh you know uh the so-called Department of Energy or the military and so on or uh because the Department of Energy has a whole set of labs um or will it be done or will we have a seat at the table um uh so he basically tells all of these prominent scientists to shut the hell off and in the year since the field has largely been transformed where this so-called gain a function lab work which is a horrible euphemism uh it's you know that the what's gaining function is the pathogen pathogen is either being made to be
more deadly or more easily transmissible so um in the early in like 2011 they're weaponizing the avian flu which is very deadly but not easily transmissible um and um this and it's the whole set of scientists Fauci is a major player but he's certainly not the only player uh Ron Fouciet the Dutch scientist uh Jeremy Farah in the UK uh and so on um juice up this whole huge apparatus of doing this dangerous lab work that uh eventually comes to fruition if you want to call it with covid uh where he had Peter Dasack and a whole bunch of other people um uh uh you know provide the money and then pretend that uh covid couldn't possibly have come out of a lab
and another major aspect of this and i think was in arguably in some ways uh you know a pretty cursor uh to covid was the 2014 Ebola outbreak the two scientists who were implicated in that at the time african many africans were saying we think that they that this Ebola outbreak in 2014 could have come out of a u.s lab in kin in my serially own this was the you know one of the biggest crises in 2014 um over 11,000 people died there were some cases in the united states and so on um uh there was a u.s lab uh there in kin in my serially own run by Robert Gary and christian anderson um to u.s scientists and they um uh so the the africans are dismissed at the time in this alternative story of this little boy playing with bats
gets eaten up by the guardian and a ton of other media outlets uh and it's and and it's in guinea so it's just over the border from serially own so they can struck this narrative that oh the outbreak started there but then when you read the reports from doctors without borders and others you know being shocked at how pro how much the uh uh outbreak had progressed in serially own where it wasn't supposed to have originated but where it probably did originate uh and i did a major investigation of that um and the kicker and while this is particularly significant is that bob gary and christian anderson who ran those labs that are likely responsible for that uh of rake ran uh they put their names on the main paper proximal origins which claimed that kovat couldn't possibly have come out of a lab um so they were effectively covering up for
the same apparatus that they were part of although they were only they were directly implicated in a prior outbreak so i mean i almost see the these networks of so-called scientists uh and and their funding and their interests ideological and otherwise as sort of analogous to the neocons um uh it's it's the it's the same sets of interests that end up doing all these nefarious deeds and then covering up for them in very sophisticated ways yes this uh is a recurring theme here of course you have the cover-ups and uh the the the outbreaks get attributed to i mean both with kovat and abola you know in ways that sort of fit with uh what we could call racist sort of tropes about you know people uh this sort of bad sanitation etc etc
or you know bad conditions under development out there on the in the african plains playing with bats or something i mean i i you we actually did an interview with you about the abola outbreak abelie i think it was maybe with you in gumbie uh and uh that was we discussed all of this uh forget me if i'm repeating myself no no i don't i think that you know a lot of people would have forgotten about that that episode as well even some of my listeners so i would encourage people to go back if they find this subject more interesting um another thing that i think is is worth mentioning before we move on past the anthrax issue is that uh the anthrax letters were used to bolster the arach war case because they argued that there was they asserted that there was something like bentonite or something in the in the anthrax and right only that that means only arach could have made it and and it was all bullshit all around and yet it at the time it was one of many things that helped the march to war so the anthrax attacks had many uses it was what used to further uh
you know slander uh the the arachie government and it was used to put pressure on people to get the patriot act passed because now the senators who are opposing it you know your opposing terrorism and yet even as you are being attacked this is this is unacceptable and then of course the patriot act passes yeah absolutely um and you know it's it's the same pattern that you see where this big lie you know that that there were alleged indications uh that that iraq was the source of it get loudly proclaimed in the media and then when they're debunked by a scientist who you know actually is trying to do real work um you know that's barely a blip and the story is dropped uh very quietly and so on um so uh i mean and we we should really emphasize especially for younger people and people who might not remember the anthrax attacks you know like 9-11 was a discrete
thing it hit New York and the Pentagon so separate i mean it was discrete it didn't i mean it didn't affect people's lives right around the country but when you had anthrax in the mail and i mean people were terrified of opening their mail uh for several weeks um uh it made the you know the the the fear trigger uh which i think really helped shut down people's brains uh really going to overdrive in terms of you know critical thinking and so on and that that may well have been the function of it or at least part of the function of it and honestly uh i think that this is another way that it's connected to the covid um uh thing you know i mean people were afraid that deathly afraid in 2020 of covid and i think that that compelled a lot of people to
irrational way yeah totally totally you know i mean it was dying from covid i mean when the average age of people who died is uh something like in the like 80 or something like that and right right and we were all like oh god i'm going to the store i'm a healthy 30-year-old but i'm i'm i'm gonna survive which is the grocery right right right and i think that that part of the effective that is to shut down capacity to do critical thinking you know i you know i was officially canceled in many quarters for saying hey just think i'd come out of a lab look at you know look look look at some of the seven ends here no it's just it's obvious i mean the the other case the zoological origin or whatever it's required it requires almost like a super religious you know faith in these in these pronouncements when you look at ultimately what underpins that mm-hmm and going to the 9-11 stuff i mean i'm really concerned about how especially
progressives are talking about 9-11 you know that they're they're focusing on what this guy i'd never even heard of them until recently or barely has on uh uh uh uh uh uh piker piker thank you uh and of course i'll say eat and all of this and it's like just a way of rehashing the whole muslim blah blah that i mean you know i mean i'm i'm i'm palestinian i'm not you know so you know dismissing the the problems of bigotry and so on but i i i i think it's a useful way to you know with the 25th anniversary not have people come to terms with what the evidence in reality is of of 9-11 and especially of the of the anthrax attacks right the the way that lands to haven smith my my friend and a mentor as well uh florida state public policy uh public administration professor and he wrote about state crimes against democracy and he took
what had been a very successful career in the mainstream of public public administration um and he really uh risked it all by talking about state crimes against democracy and uh he the anthrax the anthrax attacks were one of those that he listed and he he described them to me as uh the after 9-11 you had this terror attack and the shock to get the public and move them where you wanted to but then it starts to fade so you need a booster shot and that that's how he described the anthrax attacks as like a booster shot to sort of maintain atmosphere fear and paranoia and uh sort of subservience to the state uh at that point uh which i think is a is a good way to describe them yeah absolutely and like there were a whole stories of people were sealing their windows uh and so on yeah like masking tape or duct tape but it was exactly exactly yeah that that was that was an amazing thing to think back on um and when you look at these 9-11 attacks and and piker i mean
piker said that the us one of the things that they're really trying to break him over the coals for is saying that the us deserved 9-11 and uh you know i think that that's probably an unwise thing to say because for all the crimes that the us commits it's typically this group of elites that control our foreign policy and and control the regime in the us that would deserve it but they're not the ones that you can hit with like indiscriminate terror so it's unwise for piker to say that but it's not exactly an in something that is just inarguable you know uh it's there's quite a case i mean the us even for indonesia in 1965 or we the us orchestrates i believe the evidence is pretty obvious that the us orchestrated this failed coup against uh sucano that was used by people like led by sujato to carry out to to remove sucano from power and kill massacre half a million to maybe three million indonesians i mean for that alone the us would deserve some sort of come up and the people behind it
but you know a terrorist attack isn't the way to to do that it is the way to mobilize the population uh and get them into to a war mindset and uh that's what that's what's happened over the whole course of the 21st century it's so do you do what's your feeling about the way the democrats have just failed to address even that part of it i mean if even the blowback theses of 9-11 they won't go there which is like i think the more explosive one and likely more accurate one is that this was just orchestrated by the people that that control these terrorist networks which all trace back to western intelligence i mean and now we've just installed them in Syria which makes it even harder to say and remove them from the terror list you know just months before 9-11 or a month before 9-11 you remove al-Qaeda from the terror list i mean what the democrats have ever forget they're not even addressing the like weaker blowback critique it's more like how dare a zonpiker say this they're out of step with their own constituency but they don't seem to care i think yeah because i don't i don't think that the function of the major parties is
necessarily to win elections i think the function of the major parties is uh to enable empire and to sort of play this scripted role uh and to sort of have a sort of quote unquote fringe element that talks about the blowback aspect of things but in a way that's i think extremely at best clumsy and unhelpful and you know i mean but it ends up having the effect i think of ensuring that we don't ask the right questions um i mean and you know simultaneously you are having people like you know uh tucker khorrelson is having uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh Roger waters on about uh you know uh 9-11 and you know christian the entire narrative or a christian one of the the the lead of the jersey girls uh christian bread i'm gonna mangle her last name although she's a great person uh christian brood houseer uh uh tucker khorrelson had her on questioning the whole
9-11 uh thing um and there's good information there but it's tucker khorrelson and he's sort of sort of totally removed from the electoral thing you know he's supposed to be this person on the right but he doesn't seem to affect what you know republicans in congress or other say so that's this sort of distorted national non-dialogue um although i suspect that tucker khorrelson will eventually get folded in behind jadey vance yeah that's what everybody's suspicion is yeah so i feel like it's like the the system is this whole series of you know uh dead ends um and it seems to me like you years ago i uh i wrote a piece about trump calling him the opposable thumb of the establishment he appears to be opposed to it but he just helps it grab more um and now i think that that
that applies to a ton of people um and the establishment is kind of like Edward sissor hands you know they have appendages and appendages of appendages that seem to be uh pushing back against the establishment whether they're influencers or members of congress and so on but the way that they do it is so limited in scope that it effectively enables uh the establishment in certain respects uh and i i mean that's that's part of what's compelling me to run to say i don't want to do that uh and i don't want to be appendage of either side of it i want to be a political independent and be able to call out both sides of it yes this this aspect of being a being unable to have a sort of coherent and politically viable critique of these forces is is a real problem there are there's what i would call right wing conspiracism which is uh sometimes
deals with actual conspiracies like the jf you know state clandestine state crimes in all likelihood like the kind of the assassination and 9-11 etc but they don't put it into sort of a critique of imperialism imperial capitalism really right so in that way they don't they end up not being able to be really counter hegemonic and in on the left you have this deny you have the left the radical left such as it is a lot of it embraces of the sort of cultural chauvinism of like you know identity politics and so on uh that that makes it sort of limits its appeal it's broader appeal it allows the left to be associated with sort of unpopular movements and in currents in the culture or you or their critique of uh imperialism and of capitalism doesn't really allow for an acknowledging clandestine state craft as a routine part of our of our system so that their
critiques are on the one hand they see they want to posture as being so radical but then they don't really have the courage to like point out some of the biggest crimes of the state for some reason because it's like their conception of the state as a as a monolith and as the you know the the bourgeois state as the executive committee of uh you know capitalism is so monolithic and simplistic that they just won't address these these issues so it's like there's no real you it's you can't combine these sort of critiques of like the criminality of the state especially clandestine state and cat and and putting it in the proper context with a critique of imperial capitalism if so I mean because that's sort of what my work deals with and uh and I don't I feel that I don't get much traction and I don't even have much competition and yet on the you know at these places and yet it's I feel like the algorithm determines so much oh yeah even even as these things go so it's like you either get Alex Jones or other right wing people
the Tucker Carlson talking about 9-11 or you get leftists you know who want to insist who are so radical but and want to need to insist that Israel has no influence on and Zionism doesn't influence US foreign policy for strange doctrinaire reasons that don't really make any sense yeah I think that in a sense those right wing figures are less threatening to the establishment which isn't say that some of them couldn't be outright appendages of the establishment but even if they're not without that level of critique they end up uh uh they end up being sort of wet noodles uh in it or or you know or it comes with the mythology about you know you know a false lost glory and so on and so forth which which has its own problems um you know I mean there's been the covid was sort of a special case of this where you had the right wing saying it could damn well could have come out of a lab and you know a lot of
progressives in complete denial even while even while claiming that they were all about the science and I'm like yeah I'm in touch with these scientists who are experts in we have the emails now they're their first response is like oh god that could have come from us oh yeah right was it you Pete like they that was there first but they were like oh no the science would never lie to us yeah and um you know uh but I mean I I'm glad that the emails are or some of the emails are coming out and I think some of them are useful and hopefully they'll be used to put the screws on people to get some prosecutions and so on and so forth but much of this was evident if you looked at it looked at you know the evidence it with it with a clear head in 2020 as I did um so you know this uh compulsion uh to you know follow authority is a total perversion of what the left should be um and uh but then the right ends up you know just you know using it
to demonize China or or or to just demonize Fauci one person rather than this entire structure on what is effectively bio defense tied to pharma tied to various interests the funding patterns and so on and so forth uh which is which is really what's needed um so the dynamics I mean the the the structure of the duopoly ends up I think being very useful to be to maintain the empire uh because it gives the illusion of choice it allows people to be driven by hate uh went one side against the other uh rather than really look at what their own aspirations are in very less ways right then that played out it seemed to be orchestrated in my opinion during the covid era that that I mean they were saying it's so dangerous to be next to anyone
social distance social distance and then the at the same time the mainstream media the corporate media was promoting like sort of Black Lives Matter protests for the right left side of the equation so it was a strange thing where the sort of mainstream of the left uh you know which I know it's weird to even talk about what is the left when you're kind of including liberals and democrats and such but they were sort of hurted into being pro-COVID lockdown policies etc and also believing in zoos and noses theory which doesn't seem to make any sense politically you know yeah there you go um they were and they were protesting the the Black Lives Matter you know there was sort of ginned up in a way that seemed to me very artificial i mean it's and it and it died down and it died down as soon as uh Biden got into office right where they could have actually and you know resulted in some policies that they presumably wanted um I
I think that the nature of the duopoly is to try to prevent a sort of populist rising up and I think that it did that very skillfully during COVID and I think it's on that very skillfully now with the Gaza genocide where you have a mass movement and you have people from the left to the right being utterly repelled by Israel's uh slaughter and the total con job of uh Biden and now Trump and their total assault on international law and the Geneva Convention as genocide Convention and everything else and I think that there's been a concerted effort to shift public discussion to for example immigration so that they you know Trump would use the INS to go after select Palestinian uh activists and obviously I'm opposed to that but then you that allowed the Democrats to pretend to be standing up to Trump by saying you know we object to doing this so the
discussion it turned into immigration uh which you know helps keep everybody in their partisan boxes gets rick wingers to you know be saying oh no Trump's got to enforce the immigration laws and gets Democrats to be saying oh Trump is um you know misusing the immigration laws and ice and so on and so forth um the leftists will call some of the supposedly radical leftists will call for open borders and right like that right and meanwhile the subject of genocide is dropped or or you know releated to us you know secondary or tertiary uh thing which is what the public you know with strong majorities could actually get behind which is like the actual crux of the crime so again it's this complete divide and conquer strategy that I think that the the uh uh the
establishment uses brilliantly and what I'm social media too I mean I I feel like all these you have a lot of like supposedly black Twitter accounts that are saying like you're anti black if you're not for a keen Jeffries and uh if you're a god if you're a Gaza only voter that's not important because our struggle is too real and these are so dubious but but they they put a lot of effort into you know manipulating discourse this way yeah yeah absolutely I mean look I mean most of the most of the interviews I've given since I declared my candidacy have been with black hosts uh you know leftists black hosts either but my opponent Glenn ivy is black but he's a complete corporate and a pack tool um and I think that a lot of you know serious black activists you know are are sometimes the most the most sensitive to see how that those manipulations happen and how you know they try to shut down debate that way um so I think it's something that we have to take on head on and do you think that there's uh the backlash against Apex Accord uh aka a he came Jeffries that
this could eventually is it is it conceivable that it could be uh big enough to keep him from being the speaker should the democrats win in November I mean he's not a uh he's not a popular figure for the democratic base at all he's a clownish fellow he's not charismatic in any way it just reminds you of Dennis Hasterd in a way where it's like in Hasterd's case he was a black male pedophile I guess the key Jeffries just appears to be bribed out the wazoo uh you know when it comes to Zionism but I mean he's a this it's pathetic to have somebody like him as the speaker of the house it doesn't represent what the party believes at all at least on the when they get to the voters as if I mean if we want to think that matters right exactly um so you you and you have all these you know figures like mom Donnie and uh you know AOC and all these people totally backing him um so what the hell so it you know people's dissent causes them to get behind these allegedly progressive
people in the democratic party and then those people in the democratic party end up folding behind somebody who's an obvious tool of uh the establishment well that's just completely neutering the defense uh the the the dissent uh instead of using it to manifest in a way that really takes on the establishment um and uh that was one of my reasons for running outside democratic party I think that it's critical if you can have a significant voice remarkable if I can actually get into Congress and be pointing that out from the house floor on a regular basis calling out both sides and their hypocrisies and that they don't even stand for the things that they claim they stand for I mean we we've had people from across the political spectrum um uh say that uh Trump's bombing of Iran is unconstitutional just like we had some people say that uh Biden's attack on Yemen
was unconstitutional but then none of them will take the next step and say I'm going to submit articles of impeachment uh you know even though the impeached Trump for was ridiculous I mean they were impeaching him from more of a warmonger side than Trump was on even exactly exactly and you regularly have that pattern sometimes when Trump appears pacifistic even if it's for a brief period of time you have people in the democratic party um hit him now you you had what's his name Moscow it's the guy that they put uh in charge of the subcommittee on the Middle East uh this is a total apex tool they put him there and he's a toxic character I mean the guy is ridiculous yeah and so he's attacking Trump for not hitting Yemen harder uh just like Schumer last year when it looked like Trump might not attack Iran you had two things happen simultaneously had Elon Musk uh say that Trump was in the Epstein files just then just as Trump was indicating that he might
not attack Iran and you had Schumer do his whole taco routine uh saying Trump always chickens out because he's not attacking Iran when we thought he would um so you you see this pattern with uh whenever there's there's somebody who indicates that they might not be a warmonger the rest of the establishment bounces on them yeah I mean no six oh six there was a big huge backlash and the the the democrats won big and the immediately I mean I think even before the elections they were saying no there's no impeachment right which was supposedly invaded uh you know illegally invaded Iraq had an illegal torture program etc etc should have been you know put in jail for the rest of his life if not executed as the people were at Nuremberg for committing you know even lesser crimes than that to be honest I mean executed Julius Striker who was Striker who was just a propagandist you know so not to mention like launching in a you know in a legal war I mean that's so much
so much more drastic but yet that's all forgotten there really is no there is no real reference to the past or to the rule of law uh if it's inconvenient yeah absolutely in the entire edifice of the democrat and and again another reason that I run is that I see how the establishment folds in and gives a smooth landing to the empire after every one of those things as you say with the Iraq invasion all these crimes were committed and then it was a smooth landing for the empire and when the democrats got in they didn't do anything and then one by when Obama got in he didn't do anything in order we we we we tortured some folks yeah all of that and then what does he do he builds up to the next stage of empire uh drone warfare we get the Arab Spring the Arab Spring Wars I mean exactly William Van Wagenen booked on this uh details I mean my sense was was for a long time
that these protests that the Arab Spring thing was just a massive region wide color revolution and you could trace it back to actors that in Egypt who had previously visited the the US government uh need a flown to the US and they've been working with the national and dominant for democracy it was pretty clear that pretty obvious if you're paying attention that this was not what it seemed to be I think that was a huge chunk of it and also the way that Arab media drove it so that you had the dominance of El Jazeera and other Gulf media at the time and they basically kept the uprisings from happening in the pro-US monarchies and only happening in certain ways in Libya in Syria and so on in the governments that were challenging at least to some respect US dominance of the region so that they effectively became failed states so you end up with slave markets in Libya and the divided country and so on and you end up with this horror show um in in Syria and real change in Egypt by the
way just uh sort of right exactly a superficial process of democracy that is a lot to a person for a short amount of time and then there's another coup and you've got a new moobarek type regime back in the right exactly and the real reformers ended up getting iced out in Egypt as you say um so you know I worked as a political organizer and for the Obama campaign which is you know everything that I and anyone else in America or for you or for given to everything well it's really just a question of in what way would you like to fail to to move things in a positive way that was how I tried to and failed in 2008 but when I was a political organizer one of the things that we would do is use this voter database and you would know who your big supporters were and everything uh and the national endowment for democracy when they were organizing to you know create these forces for like for the Arab Spring I can see they were active in Bahrain but the revolution was put but the you know the uprising was put down very easily there they could
easily use those techniques to be able to orchestrate what they did in Egypt and Tunisia and then also to allow things to move just so far in a place like Bahrain but then you know who all the activists are and you know how to just take out the important ones and you can just hand them over to these security services and let them slaughter them like it's it's so hilarious yeah give me your list or give the Saudis uh which basically ended up invading Bahrain at the time yeah uh your your your your your lists um uh absolutely um uh so you know I mean and I mean and we've seen all of these smooth landings right so we we had it with uh uh after the Vietnam War right we you know saw Carter come in uh and uh you know provide a smooth landing again honest face after water gate and after uh Vietnam and so on and what does he do he coz he's up to the Shah he um uh starts the
rapid deployment force which becomes sent comm and he does the war in Afghanistan um uh so it's like you know a smooth landing for empire and planting the seeds of things that will be used in the next major offensive of empire and we saw the same thing uh at the end of the cold war where there was supposed to be although there was all this talk of this peace dividend and everything and then Clinton gets in there and all of that vanishes he doesn't even do the middle class tax cut he gives a speech as soon as in a he's you know warms his seed in the lighthouse and says oh I'm sorry we can't even do the middle class tax cut that I totally campaigned on um and it's just a total con and we were talking earlier I think that the way that it ebbs and flows between the parties is even hyper nefarious when you consider stuff like Clinton because Bush the first bush
in 92 was actually pushing Israel in some ways so he ends up being the bad guy being forced out Clinton gets in there wams through the Oslo deal which we now know was funded in significant part by Jeffrey Epstein himself uh as this total you know you know legal horror show to completely allow Israel to dominate the Palestinians for all of this time sets the stage for their never being a per you know a pan of Palestinian state or any kind of meaningful self determination at all and and uh for their futles the rise of Hamas because what else are the Palestinian people gonna do they're just gonna sit there in complete subjugation for decades on end um uh so the and Hamas is a convenient bogeyman for them I mean they're they're implacable in their post to to Zionism and for Palestinian liberation but they're out for the from the western point of view
there is there convenient islamus terrorists uh they're easily caricatured that way I mean I mean it's such a mess I remember seeing by Clinton Bailey a Dovish Israeli a New York Times op-ed I think around 1993 headlined in the New York Times an alternative to the PLO fundamentalists I mean this was literally you know on the op-ed pages of the New York Times to say we got a back these fundamental it was Israeli policy at the time but it was also publicly broadcast right uh that that that that's what uh that's what they should do and I think at times Hamas has you know has shifted and as I actually said okay well we'll do a you know a decades-long truce and dah dah dah dah dah I mean nothing is ever good enough for Israel yeah they've been much more accommodating and willing to compromise than is acknowledged by the Zionists who of course I mean we expect them to lie about everything but I guess that they've been true to form when it comes
to this because they just say oh Hamas is hell bent on the annihilation of all the Jews and they've actually accepted a two-state solution proposal uh yeah and so they're just lie perpetually even openly I mean they probably gasped up this particular you know group to be the face of the Palestinians because it's more convenient for them right uh they the other group moderates in a rational way and then they just will pretend that they didn't yeah correct and um you know I mean they they you know that they they built up a lot of infrastructure in Gaza to help the rise I mean it's sort of akin to um the U.S. having back to the Taliban in the 1980s against the Soviets for example uh to to to to to bleed them and I think that it against classic colonial divide and rule divide the Palestinian ranks uh and then the Palestinians
you know have a choice between complete cell out PLO and uh Hamas although as you say Hamas is sort of I mean people in the U.S. still claim that Hamas's charter is you know the totally anti-Jewish and all of this nonsense they changed it years ago and somehow people are still pretending um so it's this whole series of lies um that you know want to keep this permanent war footing in play so what do we got now we got trump with his 1.5 trillion dollar budget uh and trying to meld further the U.S. and Israeli militaries and to uh totally have empire as basically the and you know the sort of dominant force in how the U.S. establishment manifests itself around the world um and um tied to big tech surveillance so on and so forth using Palestine as a
laboratory uh for surveillance drone killings and so on that can be rolled out in in other places um I mean you know the the whole you know you've you've spent a lot of time on so-called conspiracies and stuff like that and and I've looked somewhat I mean I certainly don't know this world half as well as you Aaron but I mean I've looked into you know the JFK assassination and I see a good amount of reason uh that Israel was a significant player in that and we've talked about Iran contra and other things uh and then there's the geopolitics side and I think people not enough people realize that these two are probably not separate things right it would be kind of crazy if the assassinations and so on didn't have some relevance to the geopolitics and Israel has been such a key element uh in such a key partner um in uh the the U.S. empire
that it would be kind of remarkable if it wasn't tied to various assassinations and scandals and so on and so forth um so I think that we we have to look at things in a different lens um and that doesn't mean it always draws behind everything that means we really have to be mindful that these events whether they're assassinations or scandals that are covered up are covered up for a reason that they are tied to interests that threaten extreme power and the geopolitical designs of the U.S. establishment so I think that that should be a major guide for how we look at various scandals yes and in the the case of the U.S. regime which has sought to you know pursue global dominion over the clat the capitalist system since World War II that was the decision that was made and in World War II they partnered with organized crime figures you
know Mairlansky specifically and he's at his request they sprang lucky luchiano from prison and so they're basically partnered with the heads of the national crime syndicate which has a monopoly on uh a de facto monopoly on gambling and drug distribution narcotics traffic in the United States and the U.S. is partnered with them to the point that Harry Truman gives Mairlansky the medal of freedom in 1945 and around the same time Mairlansky is setting up a connection yeah he's setting up a heroin connection in mexico city and to deal with because of the disruption in war in wartime you know heroin traffic right and then Las Vegas is basically founded to launder the money from his mexico city drug connection and he has protection from the head of the fbn harry anslinger protection from Hoover and essentially protection from the CIA's counterintelligence chief james angleton and uh this is not ever really acknowledged even the jfk research community has not understood how to deal with with lansky uh and the teamsters they sort
of try to sweep this under the rug but that was one of the things robber Kennedy was doing which no other attorney general did which was to go after the vagus mob in some ways and to go after hoffa which is another element of this hoffa and lansky were two of the most important figures in terms of getting the weapons to the Zionists in 1948 it's it's in hoffa visited uh israel several times you know the the it was really the teams lansky teams to syndicate and it was uh jewish mobsters and these types of figures like sit Stanley court or Sydney Korshack senior Stanley Stanley Korshack I think who got the godfather made in 1972 uh as a major motion picture and that was when the u.s. was actually going after lansky for the first time and so lansky just flees to israel uh in order to avoid these charges and that just all gets forgotten uh you know or jack ruby jack ruby's not an Italian guy he's uh he's uh he's basically associated with the vagus mob and the teamsters and the and figures like miki koan in la and the chicago outfit but
he's on the the the jewish mob side of things right and the issue is rougan stan i mean that wasn't his name yeah right and and and what you get it with both watergate and uh the jfks assassination is a figures in jale who if you investigated what they were actually up to you would reveal that the u.s. was in bed with the nation's top drug traffickers so it's like in both of these cases you can't investigate them for different reasons and so nixon is is removed whether the people that all were in favor of removing him agreed or not there were just powerful forces that would have understood nixon can't this can't be fought because it would damage the u.s. to reveal all these things diddo with jack ruby they did have had no interest in allowing him to he requested to be taken to washington so he could explain what happened and they just sort of they shrug this off and they leave him to be essentially tortured probably poisoned he's uh he had been previously dosed with acid and declared insane apparently by jolian west who was handling another way that ruby was
going to be treated by the you know the psychiatric establishment he wasn't as notorious at the time but now we know more about him max arvo has done really good work on this his sub stack i mean this is this this part of it the criminality of it is what people don't get how much of it is so explosive in terms of the way that this regime actually operates that it's mind-blowing and if you start to get a handle on it you understand why the the the the layers of the onion cannot be peeled back because it goes beyond just the crimes at hand like the watergate break in or who killed jack Kennedy it actually reveals a regime that is so criminal that it cannot even they can't even begin to acknowledge it and so the coverups are almost guaranteed so much there but i mean it was funny that you talking about the origins of las vegas and mentioning the godfather in the godfather they claim that the origins of las vegas are as you know you know a fun place for returning
g.i.s on their way to the coast and on their way to california so even in the godfather they sort of put out this i guess fake story about about how las vegas basically came to be um you know and godfather too what happens to the myrlandsky character if you recall uh i mean he's killed huh he's killed yeah he tries to flee it's time and Roth and he tries to flee to israel with a kill him in the airport right right right which which is totally not what happens all he fleeced israel stays in israel until nixon is in meshed in watergate and then he returns and he's not and they drop essentially the government's case that is for when they stop pursuing him that is very very funny i had quite thought of it in those terms um um the in the whole apac thing you know you had the jfk rfk uh administration go after apac um uh jfk go after israel's nukes and you know
the whole israel's nukes thing yeah i spent a good deal of my time in um uh over you know over the last couple of years with with the gaza genocide trying to get the country to invoke the genocide convention in 2023 which south africa did and then trying to get the united general assembly to use united for peace uh to do things like invo sanctions uh or such uh on on on israel and in my research i found that that was what isin how were used in 1956 in 1956 you had the sort of last gasp of explicit colonialism uh with britain and france uh and israel invading sion i and gaza uh so that uh this was not sir had uh nationalized the suez canal and the three of them moved in and you basically had the us and soviet union on the same side saying no we're not going to allow
kind of behavior anymore um uh but you couldn't do anything at the u.n. security council because britain and france had a veto so isin how are actually used uh united for peace to go to the general assembly where with a two-thirds vote you can do things like set up a peace force and they set up a peace force that had holumbians and pakistani troops under a canadian general and they went in there and said you're getting the hell out of sign i and you're getting the hell out of gaza the british government collapses um you know uh the france got a you know you know scurry away with their tail behind their legs israel actually trying to hold on to gaza of into 1957 and eventually uh they're forced to withdraw from gaza at that point and it's at that point that israel turns to france to begin its nuclear weapons program um and they effectively
i think evidence is fairly clear want to be in a position saying nobody's going to order a surround like that again um and then you had kennedy wait laying into vengorian saying you got we need inspections on your nooks and vengorian puts them off puts them off and then resigns when he finally gets like a really hard ultimatum i think he resigned rather than taking receipt of a letter that yes could it's like that and that plays any sort of action until and then by the time that's that period has passed kennedy's dead exactly yeah this was in the very or like june of two that of 1963 been going put some off then you guy comes in who's the finance minister and he's like hey you can understand i just got here let me figure this out um and then by November uh kennedy's uh kennedy's dead and and engl ten is central to this and there's a lot of aspects to this um and then you also have in nineteen and then you have in 1973 series indications that
uh nixon and kizmian jr were trying to put the brakes on israel at that point um and um there's substantial evidence that israel effectively says if you don't give us a ton of weapons like now we're going nuclear um and there's scholarly events to this and there's also Pollard who was you know is five four israel and the u.s. government is now uh it's sort of the extreme uh uh you know militarist in israel talks about this with extreme pride uh and is advocating that israel do this now which it may well be for all i know uh effectively uh using a nuclear uh a nuclear threat i mean there could be a whole cluster of threats from israel at steve tiger gate the watergate situation seemed to to tie into that it tied the watergate burglar's tied into uh sexual blackmail networks that were related to that office that they broke into and the and the phones that
they were trying to to to tap and and so on and james maccord was involved in these sort of things and james maccord is really a anglton's guy and when he just he decides at well some point that they're going to go after the president and he takes his lawyer this guy named bernard fencer walled who uh was supposedly i mean he was working to reopen the investigation into the kennedy assassination but he was tied to teamster corruption it seems that the big aspect around that time also that you're talking about a the nixon nixon moving against israel nixon was already moving against israel by indyding lansky who fled to israel and so that era is poorly understood but it's it that there was new the nuclear issue going nuclear like literally going nuclear but then there was going nuclear in terms of exposing the crimes of the u.s. and the watergate burglar's in jale with their ties to the drug traffic and the state protected drug traffic was extremely explosive that's why at the end of uh the the movie all the president's men there's this strange statement from deep
throat where he says you know it's not really about the break in it's not even about the coverup it's about the entire covert apparatus of the u.s. government and it's incredible and sprawling and it's where all people are going to start dying so this is that is a pivotal time that you're talking about here um i was unaware of most of that but it dovetails with um that there's there was a fascinating writer in the 60s and 70s i only spoke to him once when i was just starting out he was quite elderly um Alfred Lillian Thal and he was probably the most prominent anti-signist Jew in the u.s. in the 1970s one of his books was What Price Israel and i remember reading or hearing that he speculated that watergate was a way of ensuring that Nixon didn't find legalean into israel um which sort of you know dovetails to how uh pro-Israel forces sort of shuffled off
George h.w. Bush later on um and uh and how israeli pros you know with with iran contra israel was in a unique position to sort of undermine Reagan and to ensure that Reagan uh didn't move against israel um and and then with quinton uh right you had the whole Lewinsky thing and other aspects of things where uh it it there seemed to be a serious case uh that israel would have you know very unique leverage uh on on clinton as well and then if you go to biden um well we have the role of uh anthony blinken uh right with with his whole family ties with his stepfather being Samuel Pizarr um in the hunter Biden laptop thing if you think about it who would have you know what forces would have been behind that and been able to use that sort of you know
just political warfare oh that's interesting i hadn't even thought about that so i but i agree with you biden was totally compromised but i but i don't think biden was compromised to the point that he would have done the iran war so possibly possibly but i mean that's the brilliance of the system and especially with you know bringing trump in for a term and then letting him go and then bringing him back in so it's this two step um uh so that you know they can kind of take multiple bites at the apple and you know each figure can sort of rebrand themselves so that you and they can object to some bad things while they're out of office right and then when they get into office then they you know because because trump in his first stop the term was terrible on israel and people seem to have forgotten then you know just walked away with like oh he didn't start a war but he you know the embassy the embassy recognized the annexation of the golem heights was
obviously getting tons of money from edelsen and companies so i mean edelsen is the sands casino it's literally a land control and they outsourced the assassination of a sange to to edelsen the when they when the cia wanted to surveil and eventually planned to assassinate the sange they outsourced it to edelsen sands casino security company i mean it's it's it's like the syndicates just been reconstructed in that relationship i mean it's it's amazing because people like lanskis associate meltser he was one of the contacts for the assassination apparatus like the whole qj win you know zriful area of things like one of the may one of the assets was herald meltser the guy who set up the drug connection for lanskis in mexico city in the mid forties see i don't know this world world very well but what you said about unions brings up another thing for me and that is i don't know if you're familiar with the work of grand smith he's done a good amount of work on
israel's nukes but he's also did a lot of work on you know the origins of apac and it was basically i've been planking on the guy's name but it was basically started by a union organizer who you know hypersionist you know well ground or i can't remember his name okay i can't remember his name but you know just that you know you know most people navel i think of unions as you know you know you know good and good but it's really kind of perverse in a way how a lot of those mechanisms and methods were used to in effect build up this group and effectively you know perverted Judaism in the united states yes which which had institutionally absolutely and which had people to grapple with roots you know as you know lots of every religion you know has good and bad and and so on but you know you had serious strands of activism and Judaism that could
have been used and worked as some extent used for social good and then get perverted into being the you know fanatic pro-Israel effectively an imperial tool um and i mean there's the stuff with the teamsters when you understand what the crime syndicate was and how it was intertwined with the state and and the mob of course uh i mean the the way the teams were apart were a part of the mob it's a aspect of actually existing capitalism that goes that is more cynical and twisted than what Marx was even was writing about i mean that's the comical thing when you look at the way the political economy actually functions it's even darker than what capitalism's most famous critic would have entertained back back in the day and uh that's that's in one area where i do feel as we were saying earlier the the so-called left is uh unable to grapple with uh the the re even the brutal realities of this system in in certain areas and that's one of them i was talking to some activists i was at the interestingly enough at the green belt uh it's like this new deal community
here in the district uh and they had their labor day festival and i was talking to some activists uh who are fighting against the data centers um and they were saying that a big problem is the unions because they end up leaning on democratic uh party legislators to say we need this we need the jobs it's like a pittance of jobs it ends up you know destroying people's brains and allowing big tech to manipulate uh people's minds more and you know hurt the environment and ultimately hurt you know the consumer labor ultimately replaced labor with exactly means that the rich people own exactly but they you know they get used in this process or allow themselves to be used in this because everything is about money if you throw enough money at people that you win the day in this in the system that's the most obvious and damning indictment of capitalism and there's it's pretty clear that that's how it shakes out it's not that the problem is like oh this is a great
system but then these then some Jews came along and messed everything up uh you know or design this however you however you'd want to say it's a caricature it's the bigger problem is that you created a system that's so corrupt that it opens up the path for very unscrupulous actors to you know take power and manipulate and corrupt society forever because money money is king yeah I mean I mean Glenn Ivy my opponent uh don't care if I'm hurting opponent he he gets some money from unions but they're probably these hyper corrupt unions uh that are all sell out their own workers that'll do anything and everything for whatever pay off any any of them get um and you know I mean we'll part of what you said there in terms of the role of Judaism and so on I mean sort of you know having done the work that I did on the genocide convention you know I really forced me to think about sort of a longer arc of history um because you know that happened
in 1948 the same year that Israel was founded um and I think in large part what happened was you had imperialism European imperialism was the dominant force for like 500 years you know uh you know take over uh Africa Latin America chunks of Asia massive exploitation the transatlantic slave trade and so on and so forth then Germany gets into the act and effectively turns imperialism inward uh with with with with with fascism and with the holocaust um and this effectively creates this massive crisis in the imperial realm um uh that that that that this was that this was done and out of the pieces of that you have this alleged new order with the rule of law and the united's
nations come about and then and during all that time of the 500 years Christianity is used as the pretext right and you even have I mean look I live in Maryland which it you know it's it's you know if you look at like a union uh union station uh here in dc there are flags from each of the states the Maryland flag has a cross on it because it was basically founded as a Catholic colony like a lot of other colonies the British empire effectively weaponized the people that had oppressed right so if it oppresses Quakers it ships them off uh and creates Pennsylvania you know you know Puritans it ships them off and creates uh new England uh uh the Catholics uh they they and they were explicit about this the pilgrims and the the Puritans both uh you can see writings where they say like oh in England you know a sheep is more prized than a person because the the sort of
capitalist class we had private the the enclosure movement upended you know the sort of social structure that existed and it creates the pressure for imperialism first with Ireland and then even further brought uh to the new world so it's like it's propelled by this phase of imperialism propelled by the birth of capitalism it's co-terminous with it it's inseparable from it there's never been a non imperialist stage of of modern capitalism it was imperialism first in a way practiced at home by creating your own commercial empires by expropriating your own countrymen but the the pressures it creates lead to the colonization colonization and domination of Ireland and genocide really in Ireland ultimately absolutely and then the in the new world as well and that's and they've never stopped they keep they go west and they go west and they go west and then once they do that they go into Tokyo Bay they go into the Philippines uh they box a rebellion and so on it's never it's never stopped right and but and and I think you know what you say about Ireland I think is part of the reason why I think you know Irish people in the US I think are a big problem for
the exactly like they really got a brainwash them extra because they kind of intrinsically understand imperialism like most other white people don't um but um you know I think with the aftermath of old war two you basically have this crisis of imperialism and it's got to find a new pretext and I think Zionism effectively became that pretext because we can't use Christianity anymore that so we're gonna you know go on to Judaism and use that as an imperial pretext and that ends up sort of being the tip of the spear of the imperial project especially after in the beginning in the mid 90s I mean there was a there was a back and forth you know as you say Nixon attempted most likely to rein the man I mean he did in some ways to stand up to them and was beset by scandal same with Reagan and Bush right so like it wasn't a rational in my opinion it
wasn't the rational explanation of how to best advance imperialism it's like one oligarchic faction is is powerful enough and is a will we'll play chicken with the state secrets and blackmail them etc etc even participate in assassinations in order to incrementally advance their their power and then you end up with greater Israel project being intertwined with the US dollar hegemony and so on which is basically established in the wake of the Cold War in the mid 90s and now we're just screwed everything since then it's just been worse for greater Israel in the neocon pipe dream of unipolarity and it's probably gonna take down the empire a US hegemony as well I think is it seems likely but what's gonna how's it gonna play out is the question I mean I I concern I'm very skeptical of people who are like you know it's a dying empire because I think that that kind of leads to a passivity that we just have to sit back and eat our popcorn and wait for Iran to
polish them off or China or you know whoever and I'm like no this empire has so many tricks up its sleeve that we have to use every mechanism possible you know and they're all imperfect right the legal realm the media realm of electoral realm that I'm trying now everything is a rigged game that doesn't mean that you abandoned the board you realize it's a rigged game and use whatever mechanisms you can as intelligently as possible and I think that there are schisms in the system which is when you have potentially assassinations and so on so I mean I I have not looked into this but a a a neighbor of mine uh Hugh Turley who I originally came to know his work um because of the death of Thomas Merton who she thinks was an assassination who's a very prominent but very radical uh trafist among uh huh who really helped advocate for peace
he totally totally um and he died or was killed in uh uh a monastery or some kind of facility in Thailand I think um in the sick is it shortly after I think marm with our king's assassination um um so um and he's looked into the whole Vince Foster thing which I never seriously examined and he brought this to my attention because Glanayvi my democratic party opponent was one of the lawyers who according to Hugh Turley who's spent a lot of time looking into this um uh effectively falsified a lot of uh the testimony of people um and uh by Hugh Turley's rendition of events um you know the the the the the two arguments put forward to the US public or either the Clintons killed him or um uh or he was uh or he committed suicide um and there's a lot
of questions that it wasn't a suicide you know I just forensic stuff didn't seem to you know bear that out at all um um um but he doesn't buy that and he points to um uh uh Vince Foster having some connections with Maxwell uh that is Robert Maxwell who has been credibly described as in Israel super spies father of Gleene Maxwell who's Epstein's partner who's clearly in Apparatrix for the USA and or Israeli so-called intelligence um so you know I mean that that that was you know you have these ruptures of assassinations um and and and so on which I think are endemic of these systems are ultimately you know inhabited by people who have competing compulsions within themselves some are good and some are bad and if you know the the rest of
the establishment feels like somebody's gonna squeal uh like with any criminal enterprise then they probably need to be you know gotten rid of in some way um it's good there there's uh I should memorize this there's a John Adams quote where he says um I must study uh warfare so that my son can study industry so that his son can study art so that his son can study poetry right that there there's this mythology about the it's trajectory of the US or the US empire to say we got to justify one last swig of militarism so that we can be peaceful in the future but you never get there or if you try to get there then somebody else who has a more macchi of alien strategy
so that you know you don't end up you know that you know I'm gonna study cavalry so somebody else is gonna uh study cannons so that somebody else is gonna study battleships so that somebody else is gonna study drone warfare so it just ends up being more and more insidious forms um of warfare more and more insidious forms of technology and how it's used and it's constantly I mean if you look at writings I've been thinking a lot about this because of the pandemic and because of a so-called AI and all of these things the way it creates it just kill a lot of people eventually I mean to be the police state that they can't create with the population I mean that seems to be the so obvious to me that that's part of what they're thinking and they don't it's amazing the conversation is not about that yeah I mean so so many Bertrand Russell who is you know problematic in some ways um they seem to embrace eugenics at certain points but um uh but he you know was mathematician and philosopher but he ultimately sort of became a luteite um or we could say an
enlightened luteite by saying like every advance in technology is going to be used for the worst possible ends given our political and economic systems yeah uh right so so he you almost want to put the brakes on technology not because you're anti technology but to say we got to fix the economic and political systems right they're just going to be used for insidious ends or or any benefit will be purely marginal so it's either to kill people or to how more sophisticatedly exploit people or cause neutralize people yeah cause addictions uh disinformed uh etc etc um so yeah that's what the us regime versus the Chinese regime I mean every political system is a you know a regime that controls who has access to the state etc and they have a proven record of of improving the welfare of the the Chinese nation in the us everything is declining pretty much
every like life expectancy uh etc etc uh and security and all sorts of realms for the median person this is not this is and this is with technological improvements vast technological improvements and yet things are getting worse it's this is a product of an oligarchic despotic regime uh the proof is in the pudding its monument is all around us so this is what is horrifying about this about this aspect and then but with you hope with like a if China is committed to socialism and peaceful internationalism which their record internationally and domestically can point to this they they would seem to be a hope for the for humanity and something that can transcend hopefully this western system of just endless domination and criminality as as standard state craft I mean I certainly hope so I mean you have some people arguing that the whole bricks thing is sort of a sub imperial um structure and um I mean on on sorry a globalist plot I don't know
a globalist plot I mean well that there are I mean there's a spectrum of opinion on it but on the far side there's like oh yeah China's just controlled by the globalists and they're part of the right that's all I wasn't quite wanting to go there but I mean I can just mean there are people who will take every line about right no the global majority it's I mean I mean you do on the plus side you do have a decreasing number of billionaires in China right so the state policy right there is some evidence that they effectively use this class to juice up the economy and to make an incredible amount of uh you know development uh in a incredibly short amount of time and now they're attending to scale back that class I certainly hope that that acceleration and they jailed the jail corporate criminals sometimes and even I don't know I don't support the death penalty and I can't but think that that is kind of a positive thing at
the same time my my qualms my whatever my gripes about it philosophically are like these are monstrous figures that are unaccountable in the west but these people the people that they executed the people that run the West. Right. Their analogs. Right. Right. Um, my concerns though are, again, my experience in terms of the invoking the genocide convention and so on and so forth. You know, the international court of justice, um, I was very heavily involved in all of this, issued three orders against Israel in early 2024. Uh, and the first two were good, but kind of ambiguous or not clear enough. The third one was incredibly clear. May 24th, 2024, the ICTJ says, you Israel are invading Rafa, you began your invasion in, uh, on May 7th. This was at a time when the Biden administration was saying there's no invasion, complete bullshit. Um, you, you, you're
invading Rafa, you must immediately stop. This is an order from the court. It's not an advisory opinion. It is an order from the highest court in the world. Um, the Algerians, uh, who are tools, were supposed to be drafting the Algerian government. I'm not trying to impune the Algerian people who were protesting this at the time. Um, the, the Algerian government was supposed to be drafting a resolution. They were the only member, uh, uh, Arabic member of the UN Security Council at the time, uh, to, uh, you know, put forward a resolution at the Security Council. Now, the US had already vetoed some resolutions, but they never vetoed a resolution that was based on an ICJ order. And this would have been a very difficult thing for them to do. And if they did do it, it would have almost certainly triggered movement for the General Assembly to finally, you know, get Goddamn serious and do a uniting for peace resolution for sanctions on Israel, as was done in South Africa
and so on. Um, Biden gets up and says, hallelujah, uh, Netanyahu has agreed to a cease fire. Uh, so we're going to oversee this cease fire and we're going to implement it. Um, uh, so here's a, a UN Security Council resolution, uh, to see this process through. And they got the Algerians tear up their resolution. The peace movement in the US, such as it was, was so delighted to hear the word cease fire come out of Biden's lips that they all, you know, collectively had a brain spasm or something like that and didn't ask any questions. I'm screaming my head off. Even Al-Banesi, the UN Rappetour, who was so celebrated, put out a statement welcoming the cease fire. It was an obvious con. It was obviously a way to sabotage the, um, uh, the ICJ orders. So everybody passes this resolution. I think the Chinese voted for it, which is why I bring this up. The Russians call
it out. They actually, in their statement, say, this is complete bullshit. You're just trying to sabotage the, they actually call it out, but they abstain. They could have vetoed that resolution. They didn't. Um, and, uh, uh, and then there's a so-called negotiations process, which continues throughout the rest of Biden's administration so that they can keep the genocide going at full tilt, the so-called negotiations and with Israel, Israel assassinating the negotiators in Qatar. That's that's what that US led process ended up doing. And then Trump builds on that with his so-called, um, board of peace, uh, you know, phony baloney thing, which is a board of genocide deers and, uh, profiteers led by, you know, Blinken and, uh, and I'm Blinken, um, um, player. Um, and yeah, that's, that was a such a farce to bring. It actually clarifies a lot about the guy.
Absolutely. Absolutely. Um, uh, and, and so again, when he puts that resolution through China and Russia abstain, they could have vetoed that thing. They didn't. They can also stop trading with Israel full stop, uh, you know, absolutely. So there, there, there, there's, there's either collusion or threats. I mean, it's quite possible that the US is telling Russia, you better go along with what we're doing in the Middle East, we're going to make your life a hundred times harder in Ukraine or, you know, they could be telling China, you better go along with this or there's, you know, you're going to have a Ukraine on your doorstep in Taiwan. You want that? Um, so I don't, I don't know what's going on there, but the nuclear angle makes their approach to the, to dealing with US, is slash Israel problem quite dicey. And I, I share all your misgivings about them from it as a spectator here watching what these, you know, great powers are are doing. Uh, and I'm hope,
I, what I'm hope since I can't really affect even the behavior of my own state, much less, you know, other states, I am hoping that they have a plan that is more shrewd than the, than the US plan and the way to kind of boil this frog without, you know, having the frog go nuclear, because that's, it is, I don't know how you, you handle this even the situation of Iran. I mean, will they get, will they end up getting a nuclear weapon? Do they already have nuclear weapons? Well, it seems by realist logic, they should have created a nuke by now. So how they, are they, do they, do they not understand what I understand or, or what the game is exactly? It's, it's baffling, but it does seem that the Iranians have done more damage to this Zionist project than basically in the last year, then, uh, then the, um, the Western left has for the entirety of its existence. I mean, I mean, I mean, I realized something, even if it's not satisfying because we still haven't got the outcome that we would like to see for if we care
about justice and the international law, eventually providing a prevailing and self-determination for the people of West Asia. Yeah. I mean, I think that we have to push everyone. It can't be limited to our own governments. I mean, when I pushed for a country-going, vote-of-the-genocide convention, most people completely blew me off, uh, and didn't think that that was anything, um, and then South Africa went ahead and did it. And it did it because it sensed that there was a hunger in the global public and that there were enough people, uh, with, you know, and, you know, I don't know if they got the sense that the US wouldn't come down like a hammer on them. I mean, the US has obviously applied some pressure in terms of tariffs and so on, uh, to South Africa, but it's quite possible that the US establishment realized that they could allow the court case to happen, but then prevent a uniting for peace resolution from happening. It's possible that they made that calculation early on, uh, even though, you know, I always wanted it as a two-stage process,
and I still want it. I mean, I went to South Africa earlier this year and I met with members of parliament and officials and activists and so on trying to get them. There's nothing stopping South Africa from trying to get more emergency orders. Um, uh, and they recently did a filing, but all that did was to say Israel is violating the existing orders. And I'm saying, no, you can do more emergency orders and conceivably because the final, you know, court case won't have, of final verdict for potentially years, uh, but you can conceivably get emergency orders that the US, that Israel is taking more land, uh, in Gaza, that it's escalating its attacks on the West Bank. There's reasons for that. Now, why South Africa is doing that? It's kind of like similar to, it's a smaller case of Russia and China. Are they being threatened or are they colluding? South Africa is many activists in South Africa will tell you, um, is still trading with Israel,
even though it, you know, it, uh, says that it's committing genocide. Uh, it's, it's number one supplier of coal, um, Petro Colombia, the other member head of the A group, which is supposed to be a group of countries pushing international laws, basically with respect to Israel. They were the number one, uh, poll, you know, poll, um, source for Israel, uh, but Petro finally, uh, scaled that back, but then he got bounced out. Uh, civil and election, it, it seems by, okay, pretty clear. Well, it was very convenient, you know, I mean, because he's the one who really talked about doing uniting for peace. Uh, exactly what I'm saying. He waited longer than he should have he didn't, uh, talk about it until September of 2025. Um, uh, and, and then that's when the US started attacking, uh, the Caribbean. Um, and they, you know, canceled his visa and so on. So anybody who steps up for law immediately becomes a target. Um, uh, so, uh, so I think that these things are
global in their structure. You know, I mean, I was thinking of going to Ireland and trying to get the Irish government, uh, to take the lead on uniting for peace. Um, you know, if you can get, you know, I think we're going to have to do things both ways, you know, grassroots in our own, in the United States and working with meaningful solidarity and trying to get other countries to pull their weight. And then when countries do do the right thing to defend them, um, you know, uh, so that they, they don't end up in a complete urge. So I think that we have to develop those structures as well. Right. And I, I would hope that eventually there is, uh, a movement for a, a realistic, majority in appeal and platform, uh, political formation, a coalition that can, uh, emerge in the US where you take the elements of the left that are popular with people and, and in favor of international law and, you know, increasing American, the prosperity and security of Americans in a material material way and safeguarding the rule of law and the Bill of Rights,
etc. Uh, and making an appeal to people that's across the sort of, uh, fall, a somewhat false idea of left and right in this country, I'm not going to go like and say, oh, there is no left, there is no right. The problem is that, uh, much of the left is not really demonstrably, uh, devoted to opposition to imperial capitalism, opposition to Zionism. Instead, they take on a lot of other different, uh, issues or, uh, are sort of obsessed with theatrics and other things. And there's not even the United Left. So the people that are saying, oh, don't vote, Democrat, don't vote Democrat, which I think the two parties are corrupt. I understand it. But it's strange to be so, to be saying that at the same time that there is no coherent alternative on the left that is united. I mean, we had three essentially protest candidates in the last election. That, that seems that's so stupid from a strategic standpoint. And so the, it's, there are real problems to getting any sort of solidarity. You don't even have solidarity on the left to the point that I don't see how
leftists really complain too much about the DSA strategy in a way because what, what are they posing as a, uh, listing as an alternative or something, you know, I mean, I'm not saying I like the DSA, I think they're kind of, you know, the effectless weenies. But I'm not going to say, oh, you're an idiot if you would think to try to pursue that course when obviously look at how successful this other course is except it's not. So it's a, it's a mess. But I do hope that your campaign can get some traction because, you know, somebody like, like, there's no case to be made for, uh, the your opponent, you know, a honest case. Yeah, absolutely. And I'm reaching out to libertarians, uh, here, uh, in, in, in the libertarian party isn't on the ballot. And apparently they, they aren't allowed to, in officially endorse another candidate, but I'm hoping that to be able to address their membership and I hope to get a lot of support from them and a lot of people uh, who are totally disaffected by this. Uh, I think that a lot of issues do transcend a left and right. I think a lot of loop causes of problems, the left and right agree on a lot of things.
They might use different language, right? Like, it's increasing like becoming the case, I think. Right. Right. Like, like, uh, corporate trade deals, for example, that end up causing desperate immigration, the left and right kind of, they disagree on immigration, but they agree with the root causes interventions, drug policies. Those are the things that cause desperate immigration. If you take care of the things that the left and right agree on, uh, then the, is sort of, uh, I don't want to say superficial, but, uh, the, the, the surface disagreement about immigration largely goes away, right? Uh, if you don't have people fleeing interventions and poverty in various countries, and we installed the cartels, we installed like a drug lord to run Honduras more. Exactly. So that became one of the main spots for like, we're immigrants we're coming from because, you know, exactly. Maybe try not doing that. Right. Exactly. So if we can work
together to take care of those root problems, then a lot of the parties and bickering, or the left right bickering, sort of evaporates. Not to say that there aren't disagreements, there are, but I think that there's far more manipulation, uh, to feed those disagreements and to prevent a majoritarian, uh, grouping that is against empire and against the corrupt establishment from formulating. And I'm hoping to, to manifest that as good as possible. Um, the, the other people who are helping me with my campaign are going to be very angry if I don't start plugging my web page. That's exactly what I was going to ask you because I'm generous, you've been generous with your time here. So tell people like support your journalism and your, your candidacy. Thank you. Uh, welcome my journalism. Uh, I'm mostly right now at substack who's say, me, uh, uh, uh, dot substack dot com, uh, and virtually everything that I've talked about here, uh, whether it's COVID or the genocide convention or, you know, I give, I can also see my questioning the state
department, my recent confrontation with Schumer. All of that is at my substack, um, and the campaign, samwhousaini.com and people can contribute, uh, if they like, they can volunteer, they can volunteer if they're in or out of the district, we're going to be setting up phone banks. So people out of the district and they want to, you know, be calling people in the district and urging them to support the candidacy that's great people are in the, if people know people in the district, this is mostly Prince George's County, uh, area code 301 or 240, um, uh, you know, or if, you know, organizations that might have chapters here, get them activated. Um, uh, those would be, uh, and if you're in the district, then obviously, I just put up yard signs. Uh, I've been going to, gas stations, you know, my, my latest, I just did a posting this morning right before we started. Um, uh, uh, uh, peace means affordability. So I'm literally putting up, I'm going to gas stations
and other activist here. I'll be going to gas stations, um, you know, putting up yard signs in front of gas stations, uh, so that, you know, this is the cost of war, one of the costs of war. I mean, we're killing civilians or in dangerous US troops and you're paying for it, uh, at the pump in the grocery store, uh, so the cause becomes a piece for everyone's self interest, except for, uh, horribly corrupt few. Agreed. And, uh, I, I salute you for, uh, working on these, on these things, uh, the political candidacy, I hope we'll draw attention to the issues that you are, are focused on and, uh, I hope you have a good showing there. It would be fantastic if you were able to, to somehow pull this off and, and win. But either way, you've been one of the best journalists, uh, in the, in the DC area, I don't mean to dam you with faint praise, but, uh, really, you, you, you're fearless in the things that you go after in a way that a lot of, uh, people are not there. And so you're, you're one of the rare, uh, people doing good work in, in that area.
So, uh, I thank you for, for being so generous with your time today. And, uh, I wish you luck on these matters and I will put links, uh, the links that you mentioned in the show notes. But, uh, yeah, thanks again, Sam. Thank you, Err. For access to the rest of our vast and growing library, subscribe to the American exception podcast on Patreon. You may notice that we have dropped the devil's chess club title from these episodes. After David Talbot had to leave our team due to his second more debilitating stroke, I kept the
devil's chess club name and theme song and intro. I didn't want to close the book on David's partnership with Bryce and me. I had hopes that he would return. David and I had planned to write two books together after 2024, one on the ultra Zionist neo-con takeover of US foreign policy and another on the RFK assassination. It now seems very unlikely that David will return to podcasting or to writing. As such, it didn't make sense to keep using the devil's chess club brand. Still to pay homage to David and the outstanding books that David wrote with his wonderful research assistant Karen Croft, we're going to keep using the devil's chess club theme song intro for our video episodes. David, if you're listening, know that we miss you very much. Finally, and again, please do consider subscribing to the American exception podcast on Patreon.
