For playing Fuddy lives on listener thanks to McDonald's and Reem Ho order. Pepper money, game plan changed, refinance your home loan with Pepper money, credit assessment conditions fees and charge of the fly. Triple M40 is known for teamwork, friendship and supporting our mates. None of these things exist on the Sunday scene being. He'll be judged in September. You can't say that it's not everywhere, that's what you think. My dad always told me to argue with you. I'm not judging after one game. That's what we do. I'm not judging you. Your number one showing Lee is James Graham Gordon-Tallos, friendry. You're a millionaire. I'm not gonna knock you mad. This is Triple M40 Sunday scene being. And the ringmaster of the circus is Ben Dobern. Oh hello and welcome from Eden Park. As Triple M rocks the Fuddy is the Sunday scene being. All thanks to Pepper money ahead of the Warriors taking on the nights.

That game will be four o'clock kicked off with Dangardaine, your caller. Gordon-Tallos, James Graham, Ben Dobern and Brent Reed with you for the next four hours. A head of what will be an epic semi-final. What we do know, the roosters last night too good for the sharks, 46 points to 10. They'll now take on the Dolphins next Friday night at Suncorp Stadium in a prelim. And Penret the waiting for either the Warriors or the Knights. 52,000 will be packed here at four o'clock this afternoon from Eden Park. It is a beautiful day in Auckland and we are ready for an unbelievable game of rugby league. Gordon-Tallos, Kia ora. Welcome to New Zealand. How are you my friend? Good afternoon to all the listeners. Yeah, what a fantastic day in Park last summer I was here. I think it was for the NRL 9s and this place was rocking. It was a great party theme and I'm pretty sure it's going to be the same this afternoon. James Graham, hello my friend. How are you? Yeah, doing fantastic. Thanks Ben. Obviously great to be here in Auckland. Got some local culture by going to a few Irish bars yesterday. So yeah, outstanding afternoon.

We're talking to the locals. It's interesting. They're already plotting their way to the grand final. I was speaking to a couple of Warriors fans yesterday and they were saying, oh no, we're on the good side of the draw because it's better for us to play Penret in the semi as opposed to the final. Well, what a shame your microphone isn't working properly. We'll try and get that fixed but you don't have to talk for a little while. Brent Reed, hello my friend. How are you, mate? Hello boys, I'm Holland the 4th Bakian. Do I want to give you a wrap? We've been talking about this area here for a long time now. You promised it, I think about six months ago and it's finally arrived. And then I'll tell you what, it's magnificent. It is magnificent. Yeah, very cute. You can make it real right here. You're very slow to live up. You got there in the end, brother. Hey, Rudy, how much did you pay for it? Can I just ask? Well, I didn't pay anything, though, but you should do it. You should do it for hell on the roof. And just be grateful. Thank you to Peter Imman and Terry Donahue, appreciate it. Before we move on from that, I think we need to ask Brent Reed, mate, are you okay? Because I mean, this week, you were an angry little aunt.

Monday night, NRL 360, Wednesday night. I said to Gordy yesterday, I said to him, mate, is Brent Reed okay? I mean, I've never seen you so upset, mate. I mean, we were thinking of having an intervention. I understand you didn't get on the playing trip, you're back over in Australia. That's the great of my angst, but anyway, let's not go there. Really? I've all said I've got a lot of messages. So I appreciate the messages, including you sent me one as well. I'm fine, man. It's all theater, baby. That's what it's all about. It's all part of the life of an influencer. Really? What are that? That's a standing job. Thank you. I've got to be honest. Yeah, we will get to your, you are now a bona fide. Apparently, I'm an influencer here. Well, you've been promoting a phone for a couple of weeks. The same song, the same song. Thank you, really? We will get to that. Thanks, Danny Warrant. For giving me a multiple points. The same song, Galaxy S26. He doesn't realize the more he keeps on promoting us, the more G. Is it a good phone? Is it a good phone, right? Magnificent phone, double-tracked, innocent phone. Yeah, we'll give us a minute. You're filming us now.

The least Danny could do is actually when he mentions the ad, he can mention the actual phone. He doesn't mention the phone. No, we just mentioned it now. We'll give him a mention. May I send some phone that you did that great interview with? Nothing cleary. May I? May I be my get you one, too? I do need to address a couple of things before we get out of it. What do you want to call it? And you'll understand this. Charlie, if your microphone, Charlie, producer Charlie White, if your microphone can work as well, and Jammer, we have the Raging Bull here, who is the offer of this team? We all accept that the Alpha at number one is the Raging Bull, then James Graham number two. Last night, not a word of a lie at 10 past eight, who, Danny, Smoke Bomb, you name it. Gordon Taylor has dead set, done the biggest smoke bomb of all time. Now, you were normally in the mefester about leaving early. Yes. And rightly so. Yes. You are a disgrace. There was absolutely no reason. Charlie, we were saying, where's Cody? We brought him another beer. This is obviously... Two listeners, yes, I did Smoke Bomb.

Yeah. 100%. I was in the barris time. Shame. Well, because I jumped on the plane at eight o'clock in the morning. Yeah. And I was in 24k. Yes. And the person sitting right beside me was you. And I'd had enough of you. And then we went to lunch, and then we went and had a wine, and then we went and had beers. Wouldn't have been the three of us. And then... And then... ...the little hawks, by the shore, I was quite nice, actually. Is that what it had to be? Well, it was a beautiful view at the Queen's rooftop bar. Beautiful. Normally, I'd go there with my wife, so we sat up there, had a beautiful wine, and we bumped into this mad Irishman. Well, he looked like an Irishman going for a run in eight degrees in his Lilloo lemon outfit, which was James Graham. And then we just sat down and had a nice steak. And we ordered another bottle of wine. I had five hours of sleep after Fox, right? Because I leave and I land about midnight, and they get up and do the family stuff. And then my family come over and I had about five hours of sleep on the way here.

And I tried to sleep on a plane, but someone just kept on eating beside me, having biscuits, dropping... You did drop food on the floor right beside me, and just ate for the three hours on the way over. Still can't say goodbye. He didn't say goodbye. And I didn't say goodbye. He didn't. He did a smoke. Well, I actually bought a beer. Frank Barrett was like, where's he gone? Where's he gone? Where's he gone? I said, oh, he must be on the phone talking to somebody. No? No, no. You try to squeeze some in for Frank Barrett as well? I was. Yeah, but I got nothing. I got nothing. He was in good form. He smoked bomb as well. He was there for all the five minutes and then he went over there. You realise it could be you? Well, I don't think it is. I think that your big tough guy image that you promote all the time is non-existent. I was tied and I didn't want to hang around you anymore. Meow! Meow! That sounds like you've never been out before. Now I would... Ready, ready. Why we're at it. We know that you've got a few mental health issues which we seem coming to light this way. So we've dealt with that. We've also seen Gordon. We've also seen Gordon. We've also seen Gordon do a smoke bomb.

What about we go to Botswana, Boutri for dinner last night. Thank you to you and Jiles and Charlie White for looking after us with a beautiful steak. You show we're all dressed nicely. I'm not James Graham. James Graham decided to go on a 10k run and then he checks Charlie and says, where are you guys? He said, we're just going for a feed. He joined us straight from any running gear. There was a young kid there. There was an eight year old child there in a tuxedo sitting right next to it. He was... He was... He was... He was living there. He was thinking, oh, he was living there after running 10k. Wow. That was appropriate. No, no. To be fair, I got off the plane checked into the hotel and thought I want to go and... It's called a city. Blow some cobblabs off. Go for a run like I often do. Then I thought, you know what, I'll go and see the boys for a beer because I figured that you'd be having a beer, not having dinner. Because it was like four o'clock local time, two o'clock Sydney time. You guys were going for dinner. I was...

But I was like, oh, I'll comment. Let's just get to the bottom of it. You're a tight-ass and wanted a free feed. Let's just call it a quality. It's like, I just call it for quantities because there's no way out the running 10k's. Oh, freestyle. I've got to be there. I'm not going to pay for myself. Charlie, you're paid. That's why you turned up. No, it's not. You're stuck. You're stuck. It was offensive. I had to sit next to you. You weren't good company. And then you smoked one. You didn't even say thank you for the steak. You said, I'm going to have a share on left. No, no, no. He said to me, you know that bloke didn't even say thank you. I'm like, well, that's him. That's what you get. That's the English... Dobbo. Dobbo. And you did eat all the sides. Yes, yes. The mac and cheese. You smashed the mac and cheese. And I had to put my mouthguard in drinking with you. They were going down pretty quick. They were going down pretty quick. You're going to imagine what I've had to deal with this class. I'm sitting over here, pal. You're getting no sympathy for me. I'm sitting in Sydney. You're at the game and all day. You're on Monday night and Wednesday night and three. We'll be careful. You're not the end of the wrap of ring. No. We thought it would be best if you're with your wife and kids. That would be a much better situation. I'm sure you were thinking of escalating.

You were thinking of escalating. I was going to save this for I call BS. But let's just double click a little bit on that. I'm going to say that I'm going to be a little bit better. I'm going to be a little bit better. I'm going to be a little bit better. I'm going to be a little bit better. But let's just double click a little bit on there. On what happened at the State restaurant. Ben Dobbins' antics led to the server who was looking after us. He said to us. He said to us. He said to us. He said to us. He said to us. It's this guy who wants like a charity event to come and hang out. And then you know with you. You were just. Oh, he didn't say that. Yes, he did. And then you started getting up him a bit, the quality of meat that he had on his menu. I'm not eating that rubbish. Right. I'm not eating that rubbish. I never said that. And then there was one bloke that did need all of his steak. No, yeah, it was bad. It was tough and chewy. And who's the only bloke that bagged the waiter? I didn't bag the waiter. I said, man, he's gonna put a... I ordered a rum and coke. He came back. And you're the only person in the history. I said, mate, top it up with coke. I'm not drinking straight rum. I'm not those days of long life. It wasn't because I had a big sip of it as well.

And it wasn't. And you're the only person in history. We're in a raffle that you said. He said, I have a little extra. I thought you were making a wishkin. He actually did do that. I love that. I love that. I was a little bit... Why would you bag his quality of beef? It was some spotted... No, it was a speckle path. Oh, my... That's a breed. That's a breed? Yeah. Okay, you started... You started rippin' him about the quality of beef on the side. On California surfer would have had no idea. Well, he did look like he'd eaten a bit of steak and he's throwing that part down. I mean, you know, like... And some chips. Dove, man, it shows a lot about who you are. Obviously, we're not going back there tonight. It shows a lot about who you are. It's very elitist to be judging the breed of cattle. Oh, well, I don't like that breed of cattle. You know what, it's weird for a 10k, Ron. You didn't go rowing with the people of New Zealand because they're not good enough for you all, right? Hang on. It's nice. He's a mad guy. Let's switch guys. I think Steve Green, of all people... Of all people to criticize someone about being picky around food.

I can cop it off, Charlie. Why, I could cop it off, Brent Reader. I can cop it off, Gordon Tellest. Shut up. What do you mean? I don't want that coffee shop. I want to go somewhere else. Can you take me where that salad is and get me that... Like, don't even stale you a bigger switch about food. Can you get the feder? I'm taking off, please. Can you get the feder? Take it off. That is... He's... It's easy on the fat. Can I get the feder cheese without the feder, please? Yeah. You are the biggest... I'm a good snob of all. So don't even comment about my food antics. The steak was chewy. I ordered poorly. The bloke didn't put enough coke in my ramen coke. I asked him to go back into the... It's a ramen coke. No, it was just rum and I... Hey. It wasn't... I tasted it. I don't... I don't know how to say this. But when I drink a lot of straight rum, I can fight like a bag of feral cats. And I just wanted to save the people of Auckland... Some pain. That's what I wanted to save them from pain. So that's why I wanted just to mix it and make it right... Right a bit. Yeah. All right. You are a special person. You do know. Thank you, James. Thank you.

That's a really compliment. Just going out for dinner with you yesterday. It was. You're a special person for taking going out to an elite restaurant in ActiveWear. You pig. It sounds like you're blacksmithing. It sounds like you're blacksmithing good time. Right. You're happy for that. I really do like me. Do you like me for smoke bombing? Well, clearly not good. Who is the smartest? Given what I'm hearing, the feed kept in my dinner. Can we just double down a little bit? I'm bringing up your smoke bombing again, sure. You're ActiveWear. You stunk. You didn't have a shower of two hours after you went for a run. But, Rady, I've got to ask you this. At any point, did you think that Braith was going to come across and slam on your chin because the way you smugged him was... That was appalling. What you reacted. You reacted like a kid that had his favourite toy stolen off him before he was going to school. Yeah, you did. No, we're all good. We have the occasional brew-ha-ha-ha. I haven't seen Braith showed a lot of decorum,

a lot of patience in that moment. That's why he's the best host of the business store. You could learn a thing or two. I do. I watch him and study him every day. We love Braith and Nesta. He's a wonderful, in fact. Great host to the male is... And Paul, and Paul Michael Carrianas. Paul Michael Carrianas, I know. You deserve it. I'm thinking. Okay. Michael, yeah, Michael, it's my night. I'm starting to get angry already. Okay, let's get into it. Let's get into it. We're going to start. It's a footy show and it's 20 minutes before we start talking about it. This is what happens. All right, lots to get through. The rooster's too good. 46 points to 10. We're going to unpack all that next. This is Sunday Sinby and Papa Money on Triple M. The world is coming. It's really on the kicker from Fidget. Alex Johnston from Papua New Zealand. rugby league World Cup. 2026. It's on Arter.

rugby league World Cup on Triple M. It's footy. Turned out. Starts October 15. On Triple M. For McDonald's and Reemhaw Water. Triple M. Rocks footy. This is the Sunday Sinby. We're live for Eden Park ahead of. The Warriors taking on the night's down game. We'll be your cooler kick off. Four o'clock this afternoon. For Papa Money, the game plans change. Refinance your home loan with Papa Money Credit Assessment conditions. Fees and charges apply. The Raging Bull Gordon Talis Brent Reed, James Graham Bendob. And with you for the next four hours of head of this kickoff. What we do now now after last night, the roosters 46 over the sharks. 10 sharks are gone. The roosters will take on the dolphins next Friday night in a prelim at Suncorp Stadium. 750 kickoff to that. But it was a performance last night that was very, very impressive from the roosters. After the week of disappointment after they got beaten by Penruth at Combank Stadium.

They bounce back 46 points to 10. And James Graham and Gordon Talis. It showed a lot. They bought daily cherry Evans. And I say this seriously with the reason that is for these big bids. The reason is for these big games in September. And he stood up last night big time. Well, that's what they bought him for at this moment. Right? They thought that it was the last bit of the hurdle. With the young halves out, they hadn't. Sam Waker's, our Sam Walker still learning. He's craft, obviously. He got origin. I'm experiencing this year. So he got fast-tracked a little bit more for like this time of year. But with the injury to Sam Walker, DC did the job that he was brought to do. And last week he would have been disappointed. He didn't even talk to you, Dobby. Did he? Like he walked straight past you. Right? So he apologized to his team, but he paid him back last night. Yeah, I still think for the roosters to go all the way that they need Sam Walker back. Look, it was a great win last night against a. A shark's team that. Looked they competed, but they'll be disappointed with their efforts as well. A huge task for the roosters to go.

Some called stadium next Friday. And beat the dolphins. We saw how well they defended last time they played against each other. It's going to be a great matchup. But yeah, for the moment that was DCE, he was fantastic. I think what sums the roosters up is the kind of watch and try. That they've got that ability to score tries like that. And you know, the more I think about it, and we're going to talk about Kronola. And what they're missing. Maybe they're missing the ability to score a try like that. Especially at this time of year where it is harder to get over the line naturally because players and teams are much more desperate in their defensive efforts. You look at Pemreth, they've got some miracle tries in them with their skill in their execution. The same can be said for the roosters. The same can be said for the dolphins. Maybe that's something that the was like is that real. Probably lack of Halle-Sea.

Would would counteract that argument when he's fit and available. Maybe from a Kronola shark's perspective, we talk about what they're missing. It's that ability to score those miraculous tries. Well, it was such an impressive try that try. And it was playing on it as we've been quick and looking at that moment. Yeah, just thrown it around and just wait. And there's a lot of skill level in that. I know there's a lot of, you know, like there's a bit of luck. Right? But that like Mark Norghane-Dewasey, like after spending like a month with him overseas. There is not one thing that he doesn't practice like whether he's flicking it like then. He practices all that kind of stuff as well. But the skill level in that try is unbelievable. And that's what they got to do next week. All right, okay. Well, you said about Daly Chervin's all you guys. I mean, he was unbelievable last night after last week. And I've got to say, double, don't take a personally him rejecting you last week. Because he rejected us all again last night. Daly wasn't doing media interviews after the game. So he's clearly zoned in on getting this team to a grand final. And the bloke had played alongside him as well.

Here you go, Savala. I thought he was great as well. In fact, they didn't have a bad player last night. The Roosters as opposed to Kralorin and Jimmy on your point. I reckon this time of year you need a, you need, you need the ability to take your game to another level. And on Bitlake, I think Kralorat that level all year. And they haven't found a way to go, to go take another step, right? Well, they lost Nekko in the four in the four. I know that. I know that. It's been a long time, they win anyway. Doble. They've played the last two months. I don't think they win anyway. I don't think they're quite pretty. You've got the Roosters being waged. If you take hit, yes. If you take your seven out of a saw. I'd not say. And any team, after four minutes of a final, I mean, that's a huge huge out for that shark side. You know, they were brave. I mean, Heroddy, heroddy won with a knee. They were down to a two-hour bench. What I had to say is, I think when Trendle drops the ball out of the line with 15 to go, right? That would have been their last hope, okay? And you don't know what sort of momentum swings you have and the belief that you get, and if you can jag another one,

well, they're right back into the five. But losing someone like Nekko, it would be a bit of a win. One guy that was very disappointed and who has always, you know, worn his heart on his sleeve is Ronaldo Molotalo. He caught up, I think, with you, Rady Postmatch. Here's that interview. It's really disappointed. We saved our worst handful last. And I've got a couple of boys leaving. I've seen that it'd been all fast for a long time. It's just a point of the day. We let ourselves down, we let our fans down. All the ones that turned up. Yeah, I don't know, it's a pretty disappointing thing. Yeah, it just had to stay in the five. We obviously lost Nekko pretty early. It doesn't happen. We lost our center. So it was a whole new age out there, but it was staying around. It's been a good night's step up, then you shouldn't be in here. It's no excuse. It's just rats ass. We couldn't control the middle. They fought, patched, ran, ramp it on us. Here's on the back foot all day. I don't think we touched the ball for about 15 minutes. They're back in and yeah, I like it. It's just we saved our worst performance for last. Really disappointed. It's tough too as well because you got some boys leaving it in this year.

I imagine one of the setting them off on the right now as well. Yeah, those guys deserve a bit of a camera mechanism. Super telecast and if I told you, you didn't know, we served this club well. Just shut out. They were, um, yeah. This is their last memory, sir. There we have it. Renato Militar, very honest. You just, you rang me and see only Katala going to the Cowboys. Super telekai going to Perth. Sorry. McKinnis. McKinnis and McKinnis is also, um, yeah, he's done. So, um, we're going to, he's going to have the super league. He's done. He's gone for your super league. He's done in the NREL. No, sorry. You said he's done. Sorry. It's going to be a long four hours. Sure is. Can we, can we just talk about the shark? You smoke bomb. What, uh, what are the sharkies missing? Is anybody ever smoke bomb? We're ready. Yes. Anyway. That's what got your starts. Is there been anyway? Can we just talk about the sharks, please?

Yeah. What are they missing in, in, in jammer and, and gaudy? What, what, what are they truly missing? Because they seem to be a side that can, you, through the course of the year, very competitive. We saw them at stages look like they were pre-miership heavy weights. And then they limp to the end, obviously, and obviously disappointed with the, that, the way they finished. What are the sharkies missing for 2027? Probably that real X factor player. They just miss X factor. Right. And we talk about that rooster's tri where they just flick and they do that kind of stuff. And, and they have moments. And if you're a shark's fan and you're watching them through the middle of the year, you know, when it's right in the middle of winter. And it's, you know, cold on wet at Shark Park. They're really hard to beat and they, and they always have that period where they put a lot of sides away. But, you know, in the big games, you've got to win more moments and they just haven't been able to do it. And I think that they're a very consistent footy side. It's just that next level and where do you get the next level? Sometimes it can come from within, but sometimes, you know, you buy that player in as well.

Yeah, most definitely. I think they like that ability to, to, to find extra gears. And to find big moments in big games because that's what it's going to take you have all your systems to get you in those positions. But then when it comes to the crunch, you need those players that can pull the rabbit out of the classic example last week, the hammer. You know, the dollar. Well, if him is there, fall back, that's their X. Yeah, like the dolphins and the, and the wires were, were trading blows and, you know, or just bang five minutes. And it's, oh my goodness. That the type of players that I think the sharks probably lack. And you know, it's interesting that the back half of the year, the end of the, that really, you know, Ronaldo said they're saving his worst for last, but they had a really poor end of season with losses against the dragons. I think they lost to the yields, you know, and they really with the position that they were in. You know, they bombed their chance for top four.

It was theirs for the taking that they had control of that. But they didn't and, you know, we all know that the numbers around finishing in the top four and how important that is about going deep into finals. And I think with the sharks finishing outside the top four, it was always going to be difficult for them. Or bar this game and what happened with Newcastle on the Warriors, you know, all the other teams left our top four teams. So that record once again is speaking for itself. Really sorry mate. I think Trindle and Nicco are paid to be their X-Factor guys. They're the guys who are on big money, right? So you expect them to pull a rabbit out the hat at this time of year. Now Trindle obviously carried a shoulder injury in that game. You can see he wasn't right. I think he ended up missing seven tackles. And you know, at times he struggled to pass the ball. And Nicco obviously had the, his, his night finished really early. I mean, the question mark for me is whether those guys, I know they hate us talking about it right. But it's a lingering question. It's lingered for years now.

Can those guys take their game to another level and then take this club to another level in September? And it's a question that's going to linger for another 12 months now because they haven't got it done again. And Nicco hates us talking about it. He hates us criticizing him and questioning him. But him and Braden Trindle, you cannot escape it. They're paid to win them big games in September. And for another year they haven't got it done. For whatever reason. Because there is smettigating circumstances. There was last night, yes. There were. And Trindle's injury. Yes. For him to come back into that side has been miraculous. And we saw Paul Galen in the lead up to that doing some demonstrations with the Bracity wears under it. Mate, he can't lift his shoulder any further than level above his head. And he certainly struggled to pass. So for him to get back on there and do what he did. I think. But they brought Adam. Did they bring Adam for noob like as an X factor? Did they bring him to give them some more punch? And he has given them all pretty good last night. I thought in a beat. And then last week like I was here in Tullichuy.

But it's just the speed and you can't coach beats. You can coach everything, but you can't coach beats. You can't coach against that rooster's try. You can't go to training and practice that. That's that's somewhat those individuals. And what the sharks are lacking is every now and then their bloke just jumps out. The square jumps out of himself and jumps out of structure. And does something that even these teammates are surprised and get. That was pretty bloody good. And I was lucky to play with guys like that. They just do stuff that only they can do. But they do it at the right time. To be fair to sum up the shark season. I think it's still a pass. It is a pass. You know, with the resources that they have. I disagree. I disagree. Not a pass. So what? No way. There's some of paths. What do you mean? What? Because they've set the bar on recent years. And the bar is a minimum pre-lim. Right? And so for them. One more week. Well, that's not a pass. For me, it's a fail. I mean, you are similar to the start of the season realistically. What they would have envisaged where their season they've visited their season ending.

I imagine they would have thought grand final. Because that side's been the mix every year for about the last three or four years. And they need to take another step. You didn't think less than that for me. Is a fail for them. Well, we are going to talk a little bit more sharks later. Luke Metcalf, not far away. We are live from Eden Park. This is the Sunday Sinbin on Triple M. Teamwork. Comradery. Respect. All qualities you won't find on this show. This is the Sunday Sinbin. I welcome back to Triple M's Sunday Sinbin. Gordon, Talis, James, Graham, Brent, Reed, Ben, Robin, all thanks to Pepper Money. Every year, the Fuddy Chat starts up. New players, new game plan. You ever stick to one plan. And all plans change in Fuddy and in life. Same with home loans. So Pepper Money understands that plans change. And refinancing your home loan with them could be one of the options if you're planning to renovate. To make more space or even add a pool to your house. Sounds like a helpful way to check out your home loan. And if it still suits you, Pepper Money.

Really helpful loan options. Credit assessment conditions fees and charges apply. Injured Wars star. Luke Metcalf joins us this afternoon. Luke, thanks so much for being with us ahead of the South of the news class. We really appreciate your time. No, that's a good thing to have in my voice. I'm just sitting here looking out the window. I think three seasons have gone by in one day here. So I don't know what sort of thing. It's been unbelievable. Yeah, well, it is gusty. We're at the ground now. And there is some wind around. We just looked at the goalposts earlier. They're blowing around. But what are absolute juggernaut the wires have become here in Auckland and New Zealand? Just phenomenal, phenomenal support walking through the city this morning. Everybody's cheering the up. What the wires up? Can you feel that energy within the side? Yeah, yeah, it's crazy. Yeah, the whole, I think the last sort of three, four years, it's really gone really crazy. Like sort of rugby league in Auckland and New Zealand in general. But especially this week, I feel like the whole move to Eden Park was walking around today in the shopping centre.

And every second person had a New Zealand Warriors jersey on and getting stopped for photos and people asking questions. And yeah, it's a really, really good vibe about the pace. And especially sort of where Eden Park is as well. There's a lot of pubs and restaurants in that there. So I just feel like, yeah, it's going to be a really good vibe today and got to sell out crowd dance. It's all going to be a really good day, I think. Hey, Luke, it's good. He tell us here. Thanks for coming on the show, mate. Can you, like, if you're sitting there and if you're in the coach's box today, what's, what's where be's wish? What's something that when you're watching your side play today that you want them to be really good at? I think you would want us to be really good at just getting through our sets and looking like how we've looked most of the year. I think when we're at our best, we're completing at a high percentage. We're really aggressive and defensive first. Sort of two, three tackles teams aren't making too many meters. And then if they do want to shift the ball out of there and we're usually pretty aggressive and pretty good at making our reads on the edges, that's probably something we probably haven't been doing the best probably last few weeks.

But I think if we get those things right, we should be sweet. And then with the ball, just getting into our flow and we want to probably the best teams inside the 20 attacking inside there. If, yeah, we get enough chances down the out, say we've got, we've got the skill to execute and hopefully score if you try. Hey, look, it's Jimmy Graham here. Thanks for joining us on the show. Obviously last week going up against the dolphins, we saw the roosters recover in time to beat the sharks. But what's been the messages around getting over that loss against the dolphins, you know, before that game started the back end of the season. People were telling everybody at the Warriors all they needed to do is finishing the top two and they would make their way to the ground final. That's not the case, but talk to us about just getting over last week's loss. Yeah, obviously the week off is obviously something every team would probably like being able to do that. But we sort of spoke about just accepting it and moving on, you know, to expose if to win the grand final, we need to win three games in the back end of the year.

So we just sort of looked at it as a right way. We have a second chance. We lost that first one. So what we need to do now is win win three still, but they've just got to be three in a row with no work off. So sort of what we looked at it and then we just try to find the positives like a little it keeps us playing. Don't have to watch other teams play and worry about what we're doing. We know the path now. We know we've got to hopefully get a win here today. Then we know the next two games will be in Sydney. So Lisa gives us a bit more, a bit more clarity. We knew we're doing straightaway. Yeah, I know the boys are, they're ready to play regardless of obviously what would have been nice to win last week. But I feel like we've been really good at flicking that switch and nothing our first training session on the Tuesday was a really good one. You saw the boys switched on. We train to eat and park and they look like they're ready to go. Hey Lucas, Brent read here. Just want to give us a fitness update on Lecker and Dalon and also yourself. When are you expected to be back? I think I'll maybe be touching go next week. Nothing definite just yet. There's obviously a with the.

Hammy had been a muscle. You know, you sort of got to take probably a bit more time. But yeah, with Lecker and Dal, he would say they're probably good chance to play today. I didn't see him train yesterday, cut and drum. So I actually can't, I train at Mount Smart and our impact. So I'm not just throwing off here. I'm not 100. I think you throw in off here. Yeah, I'm just like you guys over. I'll be out there today and oh, Lecker's playing. Oh, I didn't know. What else I saw? I did seem trained on on Thursday. We had a big session and they both look good. So yeah, they're going to they're going to be in full good day. Hopefully those boys look alright in the warm up. Then they should be fine. So if the warriors were to make the grand final, you'd be confident that you'd be fit and ready to go. Yeah, yeah, 100% hopefully. Hopefully within you know, keep it winning and do our thing. But yeah, definitely 100% would be ready to go by that.

Is it is it weird for yourself and I understand being a professional athlete and you've been involved in. No, you don't. You don't understand being a professional athlete. Shut up. Can you can can you explain when you know your time at the New Zealand warriors is coming to an end and how that looks like? Yes, it's obviously. Yeah, it's sort of sort of thinking about it. You just don't know because there any moment I suppose from now on it could. It could end before even take the field. Hopefully that's not the case and yeah, it's been been a cool last four years. I came over here with my partner and now we're going to engage. Then we got married. I had a baby over here. Got married in New Zealand as well. So it's obviously been a really cool past four years. So I like of you can be the old saying. Yeah, came you you could say like a boy, then I'm sort of leaving them in and it's yeah, it's been really cool that people are lovely. The whole every interaction I've always had a positive interaction with people. So yeah, I couldn't speak more highly of the people and the place.

But yeah, obviously it's a bit weird not really having any control for the next couple weeks. But yeah, just got to put to this. Luke, obviously next year you move to the dragons and a lot of optimism around your impact amongst some of the players as well. Start to get excited about the move back to Sydney. Yeah, obviously it's all be good to for something new. I think it'll be really cool. I remember when I met with Dan Young and speaking to him and how he sort of talking about those young guys, Hamish, Stuart, Couchman's and sort of the way he saw me playing and how obviously they'd signed Scott Drinkwater that time just talking about how he sees me and drinking combining. It was pretty exciting and sort of I like the vision of of where he sees the club going forward. Obviously they haven't got the results this year, but I think everyone can sort of see the players that they got and then the players that we got coming next year. If we can all put that together, hopefully we'll be able to do something special. But yeah, it's obviously exciting to be able to go do something new. And yeah, it's obviously a nice part of the world as well down in Wollandong. So yeah, I'm really looking forward to taking me and my family down there.

Luke, be inside love with injuries. No fun, right? I want to hear how you spend your time or occupy your mind when the side line. No, you love your fantasy NFL and you're a comp by run. He needs a bit of work. How do you spread your occupy your mind when you're side line? Yeah, well, I'm on one right now, but you know, the commission needs a bit of work too. I think I think the commission is a little bit. Yeah, no, you do. You do job. You see, he gets, yeah, that is really that's ready. He knows you do a good job. Thanks for it. You get sprayed a lot for it, mate. But you know, you do good. Oh, no, thanks, man. For a bit on this. A bit on my show. No, it must be a common thread because I'm in two fantasy competitions with you with Annette Bellin. You get sprayed continuously in them as well. So there's a common thread here. They really is. Yeah, I've got your fingers in some ways. Ready? You're going to be in another column next Sunday. Yeah. Just a human punching bag guys. That's what I get. I get it. I get on. Hey, listen, Luke, we really appreciate your time this morning, mate. Thanks so much for being with us best of luck.

Good luck with the injury, mate. And I think we are back back in the next couple of weeks. We really appreciate your time. We're going to take a break. That's Luke. Meek up. I call BS is up next. This is the Sunday, send me the peppermoney. We're live from either part ahead of the wires taking on the nights. That kick off all year 4 p.m. Has triple M rocks of 40. The world is coming. It's getting up all off from Tossar. That's from Adam Ruto. From the film. I've been league world card. 2026. It's on Arter. We're really woke up on triple M. It's put it turned out. Starts October 15 on triple M. For McDonald's and Reem of water. Triple M rocks. It's a footy. This is the Sunday, send me. What a Mac triple and Sunday send me. We're live from Eden Park. The Raging Bull Gordon Tell us James Graham Brent read Bendoval with you ahead of the Warriors taking on the nights. Dan Gennane will be a call a kick off 4 o'clock this afternoon. It's now time for this. From the makers of the earth is flat. And I'm only having one beer. Come.

I call BS. I'll get yourself out head to toe with quality clothing from Harriet boots shirts. You name it from the outback to the opposite area dot com dot a you and ready. You've got your. Finally arrived. Finally arrived. Thank you. It's worth the wait. Although it's worth the wait. I know. Everybody's got some area dot com dot a you I call BS. James Graham. I'm not going to start with you. I'm going to start with you. Gordon tell us. But what's starting to hurt me right is. Obviously they're pushing you in and everybody's. Don't have as much cash on on these days. That's all tap and go right. So even kids that got the little spiggy cards or whatever. And you walk up to a bar or you walk up to get a coffee or you walk up everywhere and you go to those little machines as little squares or what I think that's what they're called and you go to tap. And you've walked up you've waited in line you found their shop and they're still asking you for a tip. Yeah on top of that.

I'm not sitting on a chair and you've walked over and you brought me a nice coffee and you've given me great service. I've walked to you and asked and tapped and then it's comes up automatically now it comes up tip and how much. Yeah that's the new way with every time. So your machine. No no tip. No thanks. But it's wasting my time. That's an extra but no got to push. I find it a little bit rude. Well I don't know why it came into. Did they really like everybody's struggling for a little bit of money? Well that's exactly right. I understand in America. The coffee in an airport is $7. I understand in America. I get it. What I don't understand. Because people walk up to you and they serve you and they work for. They are some of the best service. Service industry or also like over here. I don't reckon the tips actually go to the staff. It would just go to the business business. Yeah that can be that. And that's a charge. You don't like that. Don't open up on the day.

If you say so you're saying on a public holiday you don't believe that they should be opening up if they're going to charge a surcharge. No just open up. It's going to be packed anyway. You can't make more money that day than what you would on the Monday. But you know you've got to pay your staff. That's a double time and a half for public holidays. Yeah but there's going to be more people coming through. It's going to be one of your busiest days. So you think just to guard that? Yes I do. This is what I call BS. Rady how are you? I'm sorry. No no I actually think that's your point. Can I charge my boss's more on a public holiday? Well this is the thing. On school holidays. No I can't. I'm sure you do. No you don't. You tap him out. He's got to man the most. You can read it. He's just tap him out. I've got to stop talking. Yeah. I'm not a huge fan of the AFL dog over it. While the game was going on last night the lines came we had it on the Aliant Stadium on the TV in the in the in the little room we're in right.

Anyway the game finished obviously I'll get home and I watch some forties. I check the result and I see these inverse holds. These inverse off fans in Melbourne throwing bottles at the umpires and I know was that was disgusting. It was disgusting. I'm calling BS Hadobo it's disgraceful. They're just doing their best. They had deserved bottles of water thrown at them and I hope they catch the guys who did it or girls or whoever it was. They won't. And ban them from going to games for quite some time. Because it's a big. If they go there's going to be a thousand people ban because there was literally thousands of bottles thrown at the umpires at the conclusion. Where they're bad. No, I'm not a LFLFW watch a little bit of it. Was it a correct decision? Yes it was. And the lines are through to a grand final. It was a great deal. You're going to miss the show next week. No, I'm not. No, I'm not. No, you should. Why do you just go and enjoy? Well you are. Gordon. Enjoy your weekend. No, no, no, no. I'm going to spend the day with like a hundred rugby league teams and people driving 12 hours to come and play the gun.

Tell us. That's great. That's great for you. No, no, I'm just telling you I'm not going to go watch another sport. Good on you. Just have a wee bit. Everybody makes their choice. You must be doing all right to get tickets for the AFLFW. Corporate box. Stop it. No, no, just with the public general public. No, you're not. You're getting them off a plate. You don't need to talk about it. I can't. We're out of time. You're not a private schoolboy friend. No, no, no. Not a private schoolboy friend. Is one of the players in trouble? No, you're being in the media. Anyway, um, just asking. Um, can we just ask him for a friend? Can you please talk about their I call BS? Yeah, look, my I call BS. Um, look, obviously I'm mentioning about your, your finances here there. We're going down to. Um, the AFL gram final. But it's actually it's been, um, it's been brought to my attention. Uh, that you now employ your own statistician. And good on your double because you need all the help that you can get. Uh, so on Instagram, Lars. Segy. Uh, sports writer. Contra between writer at Queens and cricket.

NRL's tradition. Sluss analyst for Ben Dobin. Yeah. So you've hired your own. Um, do you know what preparation is key? I call football a young boy who's at school. Um, I paid him. I pay him and he, he does my stats for my NRL. Yeah, sorry. That's very well. Bruce McAvaney. He gets statisticians. I'm sure you're like, I'm sure Fox. No, I'm sure Fox. I'm sure Fox. Triple M don't do. So, um, I'm sure Fox. I'm sure Fox. I'm sure Fox. Triple M don't do. So, um, I'm sure Fox. Triple M don't do. Stats as a general. Oh, is that a job? No, it's not. No, it's not. It's just not so I take it out of my own money and I do it myself and pay my own statistician. Why is that BS? No, what you do is you just watch the game. What? Watch the game and have your opinion. Well, that's fine. That's all right for you because you're a playboy play cooler. I'm not. I'm a playboy. You're not a playboy play cooler. I need statistics. So that's what I do. So I pay for somebody. I think that's very normal. So I don't know what that's a, I call BS. What do you have to be in your brain? What?

That's good. You know, I like that. Thank you. I'm with you. That's a very smart one. I made it so good and it's got a full-time Danny. He's got spend to the muscles. Oh, that's right. You got it. You got it. You might as well spend a goodie on yourself. What else do you have? Obviously he's gone well. Good on him. He had a full-time drive. I don't have a full-time man. But you had a full-time driver. He's a success story. If Switch Battle made good. Overdate, Nanny. We don't have an overdoant, Nanny. You don't have a full-time, Nanny. No, we don't do it. We had a sleep consultant come in. You don't have a full-time, Nanny. No, we don't do it. We had a sleep consultant come in for the twins. I'm sorry. Both of us are working full-time. We all know what it's like with kids. When you sleep, you're when you're freedom. So we got the sleep trainer in. Can we bring up one of the eating habits? No, we're not doing that at all. Is he, does he take after you? No, he doesn't. So, hang on a minute. He's said he's better than me. Consultants. What the hell? What the, I'm going to send him double again here. A lot of parents get sleep.

Consolidate normal. It's a very normal thing. It's a very normal thing, mate. Wow. It's called parenting, Jimmy. Yeah. Well, you know, OK, it doesn't have our parod. OK, it's bedtime. Brush your teeth. Wash your face. Put your pajamas on. Read a book. Turn the light off. Close your eyes. Yeah. And then when you wake up and you're six and seven and eight and nine. But when they're three weeks old, do you think you're going to be able to do that? Fedanti got on her feet. She looks like she exploring. See? She won't keep losing seven and eight And nine, but when they're three weeks old, do you think they know how to brush their teeth and turn the light off and hopping the bed? Why the hell didn't it? Exactly. That's where we had the sleeping. A lot of people say thatI've million sleep. So multiple people are sleeping per se. A lot of people are a little bit seems weak. And she's less weak. She always wanted out… God, what are our grandparents and moms, do those kids back home? Maybe on the Northern Woehenches and einen. Rosha, yes, yes. Oh, have you got a good contact for asleep, consul? uffs. You must have found out because I've never heard of a sleep console. Are you serious? It's a common place, Karuti. It's very normal. Yeah, very normal.

And it was years ago. It was years ago. And it was a working class. You can see me. Yeah, they are. It was years ago. I think a lot of people used to use these guys. It became more common place. Best money we've ever done. Our boys got us better six. They wake up at six. We win our freedom. We get sleep. So that's our magnar body. Do you want to go to the sleep consultant last week when we were out for our team dinner? That was my that was my wife. I thought I was talking to you. And you went to Gordon about smoke bomb in it last week. What did you do? Because my sleep consultant told me I had to get a bed. Sorry. Sorry. Smoke bombing. That is the meaning of when somebody just leaves without saying goodbye. I came and said goodbye to all of you and said, I'm going to bed. You guys, okay, no, drummers. That's not smoke bombing more on what he did last night. Halfway through. He left a half beer, which is sacrily. And then we bought another one for you because we thought you were on the phone. I don't believe beer. Two beers. We got a photo of it. You have been in a bad mood this past two weeks.

Just with you. No one else. You didn't like it when I made a joke about when you were talking to Luke Macoff and you've got. No, I didn't like that at all. I didn't like that at all. I didn't like that at all. And then you try to push me to walk. I want my mate. You got an endless for your stat. You got a sleep consultant. Only chaos we need to know. You got a masseur and a spender. I don't know where you came from with the driver. You had a driver, brother. When? Swear on your kids' lives. Did you ever drive a? You're talking about when I lost my license and I had somebody from University. So you don't catch the train or just catch a drink? Well, you caught the train. But I had a bloke. No, that's a normal people do. Don't catch a bus. What did you get? I got a driver. No, I went to the university. I went to the university. Don't spare the horses, James. He's named was James. I don't know where you go. I don't know where you go. Don't be named was James. Why don't you just quit one of your jobs and you can spend more time on getting your own sleep back? Because you do a breakfast show. You do a drive show. It's not about my sleep, numb nuts.

It's about getting your kids to sleep, teaching them how to sleep. Right? So that's why it was. I'm, no, you're strengths. I'm not a sleep expert. I don't know how to make kids sleep. So you know what you do? I know how you feel. You throw money at the problem. That's it. That's so much. So money there. It comes down. We're taking a break. Sunday's in-bid on Treble. Teamwork, camaraderie, respect. All qualities you won't find on this show. This is the Sunday's in-bid. I welcome back to Treble and Sunday's in-bid in the second hour. We have live from Eden Park, the Raging Bull Gordon-Talus, James Graham, Brent Read and Ben Dobin with you ahead of New Zealand Warriors taking on the Newcastle nights. Four o'clock will be the kickoff for that one. All thanks to Peppa Money, the game plans change. Refine anker home loan with Peppa Money Credit Assessment Conditions fees and charges apply. Let's talk and preview. Obviously it's early. The Warriors taking on the night. So obviously we will do it again when Dan comes in here.

Around 3pm this afternoon he'll be on in the lead up. Could be 330. We know last week was 330. Hi. Hi. Well, I'm just saying he... He run out of noise, mate. No, I'm not. There's no back going into... No, no, I'm going into his bags. He can turn up when he wants. He's the head core. I'm happy to carry the ship till he gets here. Then he can take over. You made up, mate. You got an extra hour's invoice. What? You put an extra hour on the invoice. So what? I'm not saying so, don't... Well, I'm glad to do that. Yeah, but don't worry about it then. I'm not... I'm not moaning. I'm not moaning. It was you two that were winging in the morning. No, mate, he's got to pay for the sleep-ex, mate. And the analyst... Well, he's truly paid for long time ago. And the analyst? And the analyst? What analyst? Have you got any of the stats you want to share with our listeners? I've got a stat, you're a polluca. Yeah, that's it. And you're lucky to have a job. What is a polluca? Anyway, let's talk about the Warriors taking on... What's going to be opening up that can of worms? Can we just talk about this, mate?

What behavior do I display? What traits do I have that mean the category of polluca, then? Where do we start? Where do you like? The fact that we just had everybody... The fact that we had a hot dog here... You know... You're not a polluca. Yeah, a second rate unsuccessful prize fighter. Yeah, well, that's it. That's what he is. A polluca. Can we just talk about the Warriors and the Knights, please? And start this? He reticates everybody, mate. 52,000 people here at Eden Park has been shifted from Mount Stadham. Gordy Jammett, we walked around Auckland this morning and the support for the Warriors this year... It's unbelievable. I remember coming here last year with the Titans, right? And we were at the bottom, they were there. And everybody's there, they were there. Two hours before kickoff, right? And fast forward this year, I don't know if they're a chance to go in the finals, go in deep. The way they finished the season, they were nearly minor premiers to have three number sevens go down and still be in the position where they are at.

They've done a fantastic job and their fans are second to none. They are... We watch them at Magic Ground when they march down. The Titans are the biggest crowd in this talk and we should talk to Cameron George when he comes on. That if they do get through this game and play next week, well, they will probably outsell the Sydney crowd. They will. You know what I mean? So it's going to be a bit of a fortress here, but it's how they play. It's the Warriors. They were a little bit gun shy. And that freestyle footy like that high energy, they sort of run out of a bit of steam last week. So they would have needed to do a lot of work this week on that. Yeah, I think coming to Eden Park, you know, it's great for the fans. It gets more people in to see their team live. But what it does to a player, when you walk out of that dressing room for the warm-up or just before kickoff, you can't help but feel moved by these people and being inspired by these people that are here to watch you.

It'll be spoken about, but that feeling that you get as a player, being so well-supported, look, if that doesn't inspire this group of men to go on and get off the back fence from the very get-go, like look, they've got some strong leaders in this team. And Fisher Harris and Barnett and Capel and Aaron Clark. But we spoke about finding all the gears. Sometimes in all the gears we speak about the skill level, like the roosters have. But sometimes you get those extra gears emotionally. And I think today is the day that that happens for the Warriors. Actually, it could happen for Carl and Paul, too. Really? You know, Jimmy, I'll be with you in the sense that I think the question mark over the Warriors is a bit like Cranella. Where do they find the extra gear? Where do they find the extra level? Because I think they played at such a high level all year. And we always say you've got to lift yourself another cog in the finals. And I'm not sure where they find that now. I think they'll probably have enough ammunition to get past new castles today. I think new castles sort of, you know,

unless Carl and plays completely out of his skin, they're probably until the bit new castles. I've done really well to get to where they are. But I just wonder whether the Warriors have got another level in them. I think that's the question mark. And I think we need to see that today, for me to believe that genuine premiership contenders. You're right to ask that question, because I think all teams need it. I think emotionally they found that when they played Pemreth, he over in New Zealand. It was an indigenous round, and they celebrated their Māori heritage. And that was the emotion that they dominated the Panthers that day. I think that's where they get it. I think today is the catalyst for the Warriors to go on the run. And like I said, speaking to a few fans yesterday, they're in the mood. They're in the mood to get them going all the way. And they start to forecast around, hey, maybe this is our year because we get to play Pemreth not in the grand final. And I think some would see that as an advantage.

If you're going to beat Pemreth, you're more likely to do that in a semi as opposed to a final. Look, it looks as if if Warriors win today, and they do play Pemreth next Sunday, I think they will outnumber the Pemreth supporters. I agree with that. I think they'll be 60,000 at a core stadium. Can I ask you, and we believe that Lecker, Hallisamour and Dalmatini is a Lezniak. We don't know that for a 22 and a 22. They will be back. But we are also hearing Dylan Lucas will be back for the Knights as well. So I don't reckon he'll play. You don't think so? No, I'm not a doctor. But just watching him run in all the footage you saw, he was a bit ginger on it. Unless it was, you know, just strapped a little bit tight or made whatever, but just watching him move. And I think it's like he's done a great job to get back to this spot. But he might sit on the six-man bench and if there's an injury, but just watching him run, it doesn't look like that, he runs that freely.

Can I ask you, Jammup, do people taking the Knights a little bit for granted in some ways? I mean, I look at this side, right? I look at this side and you look at Gagai, Best, Marzu, Young, Ponga. Are we probably not giving them enough respect that they're going to come in? They don't fear anybody at the moment, Newcastle. So are we giving them not not not respect? We're talking about other warriors there. I think Newcastle could upset this scene. Yeah, but most definitely, just quickly on Dylan Lucas. The fact that the edge back row is that are currently playing there have done such a fantastic job in this absence, I think, we'll come into consideration for the staff and their selection with just how well those people have slotted into that role despite Dylan Lucas being an origin representative, his team have not been too affected by his absence.

But look, the Knights, we probably don't give them the respect that they have earned over this past year. Obviously, there's maybe some mental scars there from being the last year's Wooden Spooners and they're sort of the, some of the new kids on the block in and around the top eight and coming over here today. They're a fast-teamed oboe and look, I think within their dressing room, the forwards will know that they need to have some huge games, its experience and a bit of youth in there as well. They know that they're going to have to front up physically because if you don't, this warrior's team can hear you and you've got to be super alert in and around people like Wade Egan, but they'll, they will know that if they can just hold the fourth, they've got enough on an edge to create opportunities and score points in the likes of Dom Young and we all know, came and ponger. People like Fletcher Shop, they're just so fast, they're very, they're not too dissimilar to the dolphins with the players

that they have that can break games open, which will control the warriors. Carl and ponger going down the left for the night. This is as good as anyone breaking down that and the warriors struggled there in the last couple of weeks. So that's where the warriors have started leaking and pointers on their edge defense. So, Carl and ponger, like I heard him get interviewed through the week and he just spoke about Eden Park. So, Kiwi Boy coming home, you know, the sort of him wanting to go back to the Orbucks, but he's committed to the nights now. First thing you spoke about together, but I played there once before when I was 17. And he played in the 90s. So, I liked it and you would think for some of the Polynesian boys. It's a big occasion because most of them probably always wanted to pay for the Orbucks and they're running out with the heroes running out. Well, you got these two edges, Jermaine McEwan and Frances Manu Le Lua, like, you know, and like for Newcastle, they're not going to fear the warriors. And in some ways Manu Le Lua was probably, he got picked up over here when he was 14 by Peter O'Sullivan. I think he wants to prove a point. You know, you disregarded me at the warriors.

You know, like I wasn't good enough. You know, I've been over, you know, like maybe today, he's saying, you know, what I'm home, got all the family coming up, you know, we're back on, let's roll. I mean, I just don't know if it's going to be one way traffic at the moment. Like, all of a sudden, these semifinals are always, you know. It's a big game here today. It's going to be a big occasion. And some of the younger players, the fear, I imagine around, and some of the work that the staff at the night sort of done this week, would have been managing hop wood and people like Crouch, those younger, less experienced guys that don't get swallowed by the occasion, because it can quickly pass you by. And they're very young. They've had outstanding seasons. But they're in it to win it today. I've heard people say, and this is a free hit for the night. And they do get that because the expectation isn't that they will go on to play next week. So, but there's a lot to like, but I think you've got to manage it from it internally, is don't get swallowed up by the occasion,

because it'll quickly pass you by. Rady, I'll bring you into this one as well as Gordy and Jammup. And I don't want to take anything away from the Knights. But if who's the team that's got the better chance to be in Penrath in your opinion next week, New Zealand or Newcastle, if you had to put a seam up to beat... The side who wins. That's what you're going to say. See, I think New Zealand doesn't win the game. I think New Zealand have got more positives to beat Penrath. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I like then what the Knights have. Yeah, well, one side finished second in the competition and now they finish first, right? And it went down to the last game of the season. And you think if the Warriors are absolutely at their best and get some of their form, but... Yeah, I think the Warriors. But the Warriors beat them, Lisa. Yeah. I think if Newcastle get through this game and come out and win and go to a prelim, man, if they win this, they're going to be hard to stop, Dobbo. And I've just got this little sense, Penrath,

with a little vulnerable at the moment, just with Nathan's injury, with that full problem, we don't have the extent of it. Obviously, Yo's not 100%. If Newcastle get through this game, then I think if they're going to be Penrath, I'd be like, yeah, this is... This is, I'd be more intimidating than playing Penrath at a core stadium. Do we think Penrath is vulnerable? When we get to that, do you think there's a little bit of vulnerability with Penrath? The Roosters now they got him. So Roosters were like, yes, before I left off. Well, I'm not talking. Well, they can go while they win. Yeah. Well, they're all very close to it, right? Tock O, because they're not chasing that path at the end. I know Tau's score is like, but they're not chasing points. They're up, right? DC, he doesn't have to go for that rush field goal. Right, they were in that game. But Penrath was so good and they climbed in. Nathan Cleary, Housey's injury, House Yo, and they're sitting there now. So Penrath are going to be at their best. Like, you would think that they'd be rested and rare in the go. Yeah. Just on Manu Le Lua,

I think the last time he played over here at Mount Smaat, he got 200 tickets for family. Is that right? Yeah, just got a ticket from MC from Fox. Yeah. 200. Well, they'll be there again today. You got 2000, though. Yeah, we're being a crowd. Well, you're playing better. But he's playing better. This is a 48,000 capacity, not 52. I've just said the great Glenn Jackson just correct me on that. So 48,000 52. No, 52. So you're stuck months. We're taking a break Sunday, Symbi, not triple M. The world is coming. Victor Revy from England. Tom Willett, Uncle Arthur from Polo. Robby League World Cup. 2026. It's on Arthur. Robby League World Cup on Triple M. It's Fuddy, turned up. Starts October 15 on Triple M. For McDonald's and Reem Hot Water, Triple M, Rocks Fuddy. This is the Sunday Symbi. Oh, welcome back to Triple M Sunday Symbi. We're live from Eden Park ahead of the semi-final between

the Warriors and the Newcastle Knights. Gordon Tarris, James Graham, Brent Reed, Ben Dobin with you. And Cameron George will be joining us just after two o'clock today. We'll be joining us to see how the New Zealand Warriors. We spoke with Luke Medcalfa a little earlier. And obviously, Victor Radley not far away as well. We will get to read his mail in a second. But the Sunday Symbi and all thanks to Pepper Money. And we really appreciate Pepper Money and everything they do. Every year the Fuddy Chat starts up again. New players, new game plan, you ever stick to one plan? Plans change, Fuddy and in life. Same with home loans, Pepper Money understands that Plans change. Refine inching your home loans. Plans change. Refine inching your home loan with them could be an option if you're planning to renovate to make more space or even add a pool. Sounds like a helpful way to check out if your home loan still suits you. Pepper Money, really helpful loan options, credit assessment conditions, fees and charge apply. It's now time for this. Read about it. Read about it. Reenies mail.

Oh, Reenie, what have you got, mates? Let's start with Penn with W. We spoke about them before. They've got some injury concerns. I can confirm Luke Garner. We'll be back for the preliminary final now. Nathan Clearham, Paul Alamott, it's too early yet to declare whether those guys will play. They'll need the four week obviously to prepare for this game. But at the moment, I'd say there's a cloud over both those guys. Alamott has had an injury. He's been out for a while now. Nathan obviously had a foot problem. He picked up against the roosters. He looked at all sorts of trouble after that game. And at the moment, he's probably going to need the four week to be right. But at this stage, Pennrath aren't declaring, sorry, that he's a certainty he'll play. So some concerns there. So can you just, we're having a few technical problems. It's our microphones now. It's all right. Can we just, can you give us a percentage in your opinion what you think of Nathan? Well, that'd be, I'd be purely guessing there. Dobbo, but I mean, obviously from the feedback I've just received.

There's a concern over him. And there's a question mark over whether he will play now. No, Nathan Clearham. I mean, we've talked a lot about Nathan Clearham and the qualities he's got. One of the qualities he does have that doesn't get spoken about a lot of this toughness. Right. So he's a tough bugger. He doesn't miss a lot of 40 and he'll move heaven and earth to play. And no one prepares as professionally as Nathan Clearham. So he will move heaven and earth to play in the game. Well, that'd be an operation if he didn't play because Dylan, because Dylan Edwards played with it a few years ago. Yeah, I just saw the text message that they both trained yesterday morning. So you just, you just, because I'm in my male layer, you just face going to text. So you just got me to get my own and you've dead set with your own second shot of death. I don't know what I'm saying. I just got told I just got told that they trained yesterday morning. Clearly trained yesterday morning. Okay. It could have been in a moon. It could have been in the gym. Anything but like there is some data. I expect him to play, but at this day, so not the clearing him over the line, Dobbo.

Okay. Thanks for thanks for back. I mean, can I ask you this? Yo's got the pec injury. Yeah. Clearies got the foot injury. Should we be doubtful around their selection for the World Cup? Like at the end of that season, will they be having to have operations like? I think I'm going through the next couple of weeks, but you wouldn't think that they go and play World Cup after that. Clearies issues are resting issue. I don't think it needs surgery on Dobbo. I think it needs rest. So maybe they'll decide he could, he needs rest after the grand final. Maybe he missed the World Cup. I'm not, I'm not sure at that point yet. I'm making that decision. Maybe the foot improves enough that he can plan the World Cup. Yo, I would imagine is in serious doubt for the World Cup, you would imagine. If that's a rough peck or a hanging by a thread, you know, I'd be surprised to be played in the World Cup. Right. Okay. So let's see what I'm going to do. No, no, no, you want to shoot me down. I have no idea. I have no, no, my, my male, well, I don't have male. So can I ask you this?

Can, can you tell me, Rady, what else you've got? I'll tell you what this bloke, moving on. What's on? He's just creating drama. No, no. We're using my iPad. We're using my iPad. So every single message that comes through my phone that's linked to my iPad, he's starting to read my messages now and then starting to hit them like, because he's got about the concentration of an ant. So just focus on the job. That was the rowing club text message. I don't know why I do this. You might be right. Today could be my finale. It really could be the way I'm feeling. Please don't come from the side. You are annoying. Don't tease us, Don't tease us, Don't tease us. You're edging. Okay. Can we please, Rady, what else you got? Let's go and talk about Brisbane and Jordan Ricky, Don't vote, kid. Yeah. There's a bit of male around. I believe you might be. I'm going to say, you're going to say, you're going to say, you're going to say, you're going to be. I think we have more than one player to look at because there's a bit of male around, I believe you might have heard this.

The Broncos get a growing, increasingly skeptical, skeptical, that Jordan Ricky will start the footy club beyond next season. He's an November one guy. And as the last, his deal in November one comes available to speak to other clubs and look, mind-stunning us, you might have heard the same dubbo, that the Broncos are concerned that Jordan Ricky may leave at the end of next season. You know we have because we spoke about it on Thursday on the phone So let's just call it for what it is we had a big chat about it on the phone So I'm out of the radio I thought you might be aware of this. Yeah, we had a chat about it I think it's done I got told the Jordan Ricky the Jordan Ricky And coaching Relationship is like oil and water. It just doesn't mix that that like and it's nothing against it He's had a great time there they're resigned to the fact that he will be moving on they they are pretty confident that he will he will go somewhere else

I want to imagine it's not there because he wouldn't be guaranteed to be there. I look all the mail I got was that it was the Melbourne storm That has been absolutely Dernied by people at Melbourne and by the Broncos the Broncos said look we don't think you'll be here But it won't be at the Melbourne storm. They don't think so Jordan Ricky's going to end up somewhere I wouldn't be surprised if he replaces Cape well here in in a couple years He's a proud New Zealander. I think the warriors I think the warriors are in for Jordan Ricky to bring him home That's you know, and I've got no Mara, but you look at the rosters and you think well Make you bring Jordan Ricky and and liquor hella seam are there on the edges together long term You're leaving them as well Look they like Laban they like Laban maybe he can go into the middle a bit as well Laban can play that or you know, so Double he is from cross church as well as new South. There's a team in cross church potentially in 29 or whatever maybe that they are for him the Broncos though are definitely

Resign to that they feel that he will he will move on and look very thankful for his time But but but leave that he will go and they just said he's just going to go to a top four side So if it's not well, it couldn't I mean it could be the roosters But if it's not Melbourne, they're not a top four side. I think the warriors are in line for him What else you got, mate? Top of you mentioned obviously Melbourne in relation to Jordan Ricky Sementarous in news and Alec guitar actually when the NFL teams are out here A couple of weeks ago Jordan Alec guitar actually caught up with some of the NFL's medical staff and got some pretty positive feedback actually so Look, I think they're growing in Chris increasingly optimistic the maybe Alec guitar Maybe I'll the find a way back to play again I mean it's a long way to go still yet, but those meetings with the NFL and her fellows I understand that they were pretty positive for Alec guitar So there's some fresh hope there that maybe Alec guitar In time might be able to return and man Melbourne is gonna be a good story Wouldn't it be a good story of Alec guitar was able to come back

Can I just take and Danny Wilder's reporting this and Gordy. I love your input and reading I'm not trying to cut Redie's mail out, but there's a report that Zane Harris and he's going to go to November one and test the open market For his role and moving forward Jesus fails the pub test to me. I'm sorry if that's if that's the truth that really really fails the pub test to me Mate the kids are goal-cose kid The goal coast have done everything they can to invest in local juniors That's what everybody's doing now. That's all the cool kids are doing but mate. He said you're not I want to be a Titan for life I want to be the first Titan so it's all but I don't shit the kid down right because everybody's doing it right There wouldn't be a guy playing the game now Well he's managing men are doing it Nathan Cleary I think Nathan Cleary of test job market his management is manager of CMA even what Sam does Quite often is he extends negotiations out

Makes them slow and sometimes it works in his favor like he extended out the negotiations with Jeremiah Nannoy in North Queensland Jeremiah Nannoy got a massive deal Extended negotiations out with Jackson perju in North Queensland Perju kept playing footy kept playing well got a massive deal. Sam does that. That's a way operates Some people like it some don't but what he does is he takes his time if he's not happy with the deal He backs his player to play well and the price goes up and that's what he's doing here. What's he worth Gordon? I mean you're an owner of the Titans. What do you think Zane Harrison's worth? He's at start like he's your future like easy easy car tower. So What do you think he's worth? Whatever the club can afford to pay we will offer him a really good deal. I'm confident that he'll stay there I think he's a really good kid for all those reasons that you said all of his young photos. He's got a Titans Kid on his dad play there. He's great mates, you know with a lot of people on the Gold Coast But it's a business now, but we would be super confident that Zane Harrison is really happy at our club and where we're going

Right, but like all the kids do I think you're crazy not to test the market right seriously like if it's my son Let's say go test the market. It is the ability to resize. I'm going to be dependent on a J Brimson Be a moved on Gordon. No, I don't think so. You think it's in the name of that No, I'm on looked to free and the talk is PNG but I don't yeah, I don't think that the kid wants to be third in line If I'm that kid I know that we're gone after Nathan. I know we're going after Sam But if you don't get Sam your third, but that's not a great way of you know, telling that the kid that you're our number one priority So um, but I'm sure that he'll go to the market and I'm sure that he'll get tested He's played a handful of games and he was really good and was disappointed that he got injured towards the end of the season But we'd be very confident that you know Zane will remain a Titan. So That would mean he's going to know Vemba one and he's going to obviously Test the market. Well P's got to look. I mean PNG is the one double. He's been linked with PNG for You know forever in a day for ages now the suggestion has been the PNG are looking at him

If they don't get Sam Walker and Nathan Cleary so how old is he 20? Is that like 20? He's a huge lift for a kid on the goal coasters, but he's whole life on the goal coast Who can play football there who can make close on a million dollars at the goal coast to be Uprooting and going to PNG. I get the money. I get it, but at 20 I get it if you're 28, but at 20 years of age I Yeah, I agree with what you say it just fails the pub just for me because the investment has come from the Titans The Titan started off and they invested in this kid they backed him they believed him Well Because you watch Cooper by do it right and then his day was at Melbourne and that young kid back flip because he loves where the clubs go and you got Young Campbell right he got offered the farm over in Perth and he turned his back and he stayed with the Titans So we're starting to get So like we are Yeah, and then they that's the deal man You're gonna get paid a lot of money wherever you are

But they they they chose a club Tino could have gone and gone smack bang into a club where he could challenge for a premiership this year He chose not to he chose because they believe that the Titans are building something. I'm a Titans member. I get I'll see in the eat I'll see what they're doing You have to comment James no From okay, everybody's silence spoke volumes there bad we're taking a break. This is the Sunday symbol on triple camaraderie respect All qualities you won't find on this show This is the Sunday Sinbin Hi, welcome back triple him Sunday sinbin all thanks to pepper money. We're live from Eden park ahead of the warriors taking on the new castle night's James Graham Gordon talus Brent Reid bend open with you You're interested in the ad that you did for pepper movie before they understand that planes change So what what what what you mean? Okay Let's talk West Tigers

And the West Tigers saga continues We now know that obviously benches had to clean out that's fully aware but the Jerome law I know show to the awards night at the beginning of the week I mean good renders Tata see you later. I mean, I think everybody at the West Tigers has had enough of the Jerome law Let him go to paramount it let him go to the chief It has just creating he just creates more and more negative headlines Since he decided to make the transition and obviously go to the chief's ready where are we at? I mean no one at the club seems to be too concerned by his no show It's more the rest of the NRL community that just think it failed and failed the club Well, they were aware he wasn't going double because he had to ask for a pee and he told them he wouldn't be there And he wasn't the only player wasn't there So you know and I think I think that relationship Well, they had it the guys had legitimate excuses I'm not saying I'm not saying Jerome had a legitimate excuse

I'm saying the other guys who weren't there had legitimate reasons for like I read and there weren't One of them is about to become a dad right wife's pregnant so she was too I mean, you know what see he wasn't there but you know, I mean that's only 20 minutes away right? So just hear me out just hear me out dog. I mean really Right There's certain things that you've got to do for the team right and unless you have an operation Right that you've got from playing with those guys I don't think a teammate would take another excuse Ken Bikoski the back-up night nine from the Broncos had risked surgery at 9 a.m. on Monday He was in a sling in a tuxedo now. He was full of painkillers But he attended the presentation as soon as he awards over on Monday night the Broncos he left So what you're saying the over when we were already West Tigers players with their dogway there were a couple who weren't there right Jerome Was one of them yeah and look that you mentioned it the relationships completely broken right and it goes both ways I think Jerome's had a guppall then by the sounds of it and they've had a guppall of him so

I think everyone's just the upset with the West Tigers. You know Oh, yeah They are what what have the West Tigers done in this thing other than be the most accommodating club out of anybody I'll make Jerome you okay you want to leave early okay you go on a flight Are you in we've just won in town? So I don't get on a flight and go Like what have the West Tigers done that it has been in any way negative to Jerome Loy that he could even remotely be upset with them. I don't know I don't know. I look I mean I think I think as I said I think the relationships are damaged. I don't think it's necessarily a Clubwide thing, but I think Certainly You can see that the relationships are damaged between Jerome Loy and figures of that club. That's pretty clear right Did you dispute that or do you disagree with that? Okay, no, I don't but I think I think Probably right in the main he bears a rich majority of responsibility for that

But I just think there are the point where everyone's to move on double right and this is just the I wouldn't even say this store the broke the camel's back because the back's already broken This is just another reason why Everyone wants to go this separate ways and Yeah, that's it. I think it's it's been busted for all now. This just signal poison Gemma I think it's disappointing if I'm a Tigers fan and where their clubs are they they you know They're talking about Benji and I don't know the new way of looking after a coach but surely there's an app surely there is Some platforms out there that there are sporting people on and you don't have to go to LinkedIn to try to find someone to come to your club Yeah Not having everybody on the bus and all that kind of stuff and I just think For just for Jerome and I'm not like good on him. Congratulations. Like you You know, you're killing and you know, you put a post up and it's chest that you know like then you against the world Well, it's not it's you with your teammates go and to play a sport

You know, and there's people that go out and work or day to go and buy your jerseys to come and watch you and You know just to go there and show better respect and I think it's for the game and everybody that's ever worn that jersey and you go there On your awards night whether you like it or not But you finish your day. So you're with pain has and all those guys going to Brisbane and there's been guys That I've done it. You just you know as much as you don't want to go sometimes and you get beaten or a clubs moved you on You just gotta go and you know what right probably only learnt this after playing For the put that the awards night It's actually a big deal to a lot of people that are connected to the club It's not just about you as a as a first grade are going and attending and because you don't really get to hang out You split at different tables and you spend time with people that you know put a lot of resources behind the club That's what the presentation night is about and it of course acknowledging the standout performers I think look in isolation

Missing the presentation. Is it the worst thing in the world? No, but it's just not tigers by running but but I mean you for those other things Yeah, can I play devil's have a can he can't I devil's have a can you say on on lua? Right with the presentation night when he was offered the opportunity to go and do whatever he was doing with the The third party what date is it on oh, you know what I can't go because I've got the presentation at that Can we can we rearrange it for another time make it the next day? It's it's in white in the morning something that can't I've got to attend Well, there are other players involved there wasn't just him being guard on a junior polo when I believe so There there are other people to consider in this as well and just playing devil's advocate if you got flicked by Triple M and now having awards ceremony next week. Would you go? Oh, I think you've got I think you've got a future. You know, would you go? I think you yeah, we go. Okay. Yes. I would did he get flicked? Did he get fully got free?

You got flicked. Yeah, it's not there next year isn't that with double soon? Um, ready. I disagree with you. I disagree with you so much on this one because I'm sorry the West I just would have kept Jerome lawy. Well if he hadn't come to home and gone I've got this amazing offer they gave him the blessing at the moment like when they signed him There was a clause there if he'd activated he could estate so I like him if two GB double during come for example offered you W income right? I knew and I W income and you took it took took the job with them and triple MCD. Well, that's it. May you done take a hike And I know what ceremony next week Would you not even the same? What's different for four clubs and for four clubs are different that that's why you know We wouldn't have an it would be an end of season drinks that we'd have we wouldn't have spot sponsors and partners of the club And just on like why you go well, you know what the the tiger is really Once your own signed in this season was done. They shouldn't have played them

They they they they they played them every week That's because Pinging needed to win football games the club needed to win football games Jimmy That's why that played him Well, yeah, I granted but You know if Benji's as safe as what he says he is and everybody says he is then you know the back half of the season when the season was gone It shouldn't have mattered. You've still got to win games to your fans. I mean even if you're safe You're still going to give your fans some hope How will can I ask you this who will be the assistant coaches now that Benji's clearing out? What's the list? Ready that that you put together and who do you believe will be a system? It's just one assistant they're bringing in it's just one it's a defense a defense specialist Um, so yeah as you guys know that they've ever advertised on LinkedIn they've advertised in sports people apparently that's you see on LinkedIn Yeah, have they really? Yes I thought you'd you that's not uncommon. That's not uncommon for assistant coach. Yes. Yes. Sorry. I thought

Guys what rock you and Dobbo need that right get another I'm not on LinkedIn just just to share him I've got a LinkedIn. They're just casting a net wide Jimmy. They want to make sure they get Um rugby leave off you can't I'm sorry You think linked in his what's gonna find you this you know what you're gonna get you're gonna get the spring show amount You should apply for the job. Yeah, the underlying spring show amount. You know I need it when you know England soccer team You could always apply for that Yeah, and they'd raise it open and then they'd write you they'd always write your letter and say Sorry, we've got in a different direction. I don't have actually done a problem with it. I think it's fine I think that's modern society. It's common practice now But that apparently they have been inundated by applications. I'm not sure so her quality Well, I mean, I think something just on yeah some of the guys you go who would you you would imagine would well They would like I'd imagine they wouldn't apply through LinkedIn and would talk and that's the thing really really like really that the criteria is

Experience assistant coach or experience former neural head coach I don't think a fishing around on LinkedIn looking for their next role in the game Obviously right shame planning is an obvious one friend of the shirt friend of the network Benny T. Oh another friend of the network, but we imagine Ben's gonna be at South Sydney You might be closer to that to that the me double, but I'd imagine that's where Benny T. Oh's gonna I land so they can probably put a line through Benny Interesting one for me is Ryan car who was the head coach I think a castle foot and in super league but left obviously castle food was it the dragons? It's got a good reputation castle foot. Well, I think there was some drama over there I don't think it ever came out what the actual drama was but there was drama gaudy But he does have a very good reputation Ryan Karen was doing a good job But I think that's well, no, probably not a cast for anymore, but ask around the NRL He's coached a lot in the NRL. He's experienced. He's a guy. I'm only asking Like because I'm a tiger's band driving around now and you know with their kids just finished lunch

You'd want to think that we're gonna try to get the best man possible and the guy that I would have got If I'm there, I would have went after a band tear guy that played for the jersey I think he went tigers first and he went to the broncos So he's got a little bit of DNA. I believe they've contacted Ben T.O. Gaudy, but I think we expect Ben to end up at Sousa City. That's the assumption I believe they've approached him. Well, I think around for a while, hadn't it? Yeah, there's an interesting one Jimmy you might know about this guy Paul Rolly who was head coach at St Helens in England. Yeah, that's right I recently I think he got sacked Sacked or left them about three or four months ago. I don't know a lot about St Helens. Yeah, I don't know a lot about he really a job at Sulford who were a struggling club over in England and did really really well for them and But oh my goodness It's going really I can't even find some rising right. Yeah, but we are right there the sky box television

And the guy is doing his best Ben Dobben blow up. He's calling the races Yeah Even down in there Yeah, well, you know, you're very far up. Look, um Yeah, things didn't go too well for Rolly over at St Helens But he just have a track record of of doing a great job at Sulford who were also struggling for me Look, some of like Ben T.O. is is really interesting because He's in aspiring NRL head coach, right? And he he recognizes he's probably got A couple more years in the assistant coaches role, but then he wants the next job So if you're the tigers Are you not Going behind Benji's back, but maybe suggesting to Ben that if things don't improve here In terms of results you will be automatic You will be off first choice And a sales having that conversation or is that one of those, you know, you connect the dots and say well if I'm

He would win. He's only got another couple of years left. I'll be the next couple at the rank Ben T.O. knows why Well, Ben T.O. would have been coached by way. Yeah I'm not being rude. You're not going to learn too much more offline if you've worked with one. Yeah I think Ben is right next to the honest house as well. I don't think right? No, but like the my point is if you go to a struggling club Right, there's a bit more experience right like You know someone says that if you're ever going to start a business go work for someone and you know use their money to make your mistakes If I'm gonna be a coach The tigers might be that club where you go okay, it is a basket case It can happen Shit can hit the fan at any stage of any career right because it does happen look what happened to Melbourne storm this year Look what happened to Brisbane this year How do I get myself out of it? And then that and then you know what you're still doing the same job You're still working with humans you're working with footy sides and if you're colorblind you're still working with young men They're generally want to be the best at their trade. Yeah, I think shame plan. They're gonna be a interesting person to contact as well

I think you when you look at the Adam doy situation It all began on team list Tuesday when that Team was named and you've on Andrews was in the 7 they were going to fight the charge and Adam doy was in number 22 Well experience head assistance or experience for four managers They say we're not putting that team list in can I know? Because we're gonna we're gonna. I've seen what's coming here. We're not putting that team list in you need to figure out Like Javon might make his debut if you know that But 96 Experience do you know what just car washes that? Yeah, it's gonna be the best battle ever at Eden Park Between two commentators Most commentators it's a real fishing computer Yeah, I gotta handle it. Yeah, I gotta handle that at all. Yeah, no, it's not gonna have this bloke talking over It could be your future It might help me some Bye, we're gonna take a break. This is the Sunday, see me on trouble

2026 it's on our to rope your leg well cup on triple M its footy turned up starts October 15 on triple M For McDonald's and Reem of water triple M rocks footy This is the Sunday I welcome back Sunday send in for pepper money. We're live from Eden Park two hours away from kickoff It'll be New Zealand Warriors taking on the Newcastle nights. Dangana will be your call Jammer the raging bull Gordon Tarras Bendobbon and Brent Reed with you For the next two hours before kickoff dangana will be your caller It's now time for the Mitsubishi triton Tupper's player. Thanks to Mitsubishi triton radar breaking new ground James Graham who is our Mitsubishi triton Tupper's player? Yeah, unfortunately he was on the losing side Yesterday, but I've gone with sharks five eight bread and trindle. I mean Look where we spoke before about Alamotti and Nathan Cleary and you know, they're in doubt for next week

But Trindle and his shoulder like you could see he was He was in all sorts and like a lot of players this time of year They know they're not a hundred percent, but The They're standing within their team Forces the hand of the coach to play because sure, you know, Trindle there was Yeah, you could see the the lack of range the pain that he would play in all for his teams cause I thought it was An outstanding show of bravery and then when nick o'hines goes down in the opening Few minutes, you know, it was all on him to try and manufacture Something special from the sharks. It wasn't to be but in terms of toughness pushing through that shoulder injury All the the injections and the rehab that he would have had was was a massive effort from him Despite being on the losing team no question braiding Trindle and that's a really good type of player Gordy like they have that brace on and to be able to still even take the field off the back of that and It's we're not surprised because it's only league in this car. It's ridiculous

The smaller guys sitting on the edge. That's where the biggest back rolls come they got a bit more space to defend They don't defend in a car You know in a little car park like they've got a fair bit of space out there and I think he's done a great job And like when you're watched him warm and up and you know, he couldn't even use it properly So you know when you talk about courage. It's not always the biggest guy coming off the back fences Blocks playing with things that they probably shouldn't dove. I made you know stuff like mate rowing with splinters and stuff like May you may like you've pushed with a pain barrier before having you plenty of times You like to times. Yeah, can you talk this through a couple? Which one would you want to know? I just a couple when I add a very very very very damaged And I played for the Barquay San as in Mount Isle and you know that game sternum's hurt mate stirers do hurt They are both the most pain I've ever had in my life There's only I know in a series you'll see here sleep tool the best front rolls Lasso carried one for I reckon about a year started website at a display Yeah, they couldn't inject into each you couldn't get in

See dobo most front rolls carry. Yeah, I never got any injections. I just played tough played through it So that's what I don't know. Can I say you played through it? Yeah, what about when you when you do you play through it? What was what was the driving factors But behind some of the decisions because there's often something beneath the surface like a bit of insecurity So you know you fall off your bike you do your neck you take a photo It's grand fan tag of fire. Grand you did Grand final and you tell it was there with me took the photo what was it that was driving you I didn't turn up I didn't turn up to work the week after my accident. I had a week off you remember You folks rang me in the hospital bed and wanted to have a chat to me against my better judge when I spoke to you both Do you remember that oh no we out of the caliper little club? We had a killer club Well, mate, we didn't know last week that dobo but dobo when we went out right you are a caterpillar We did put a black armband on just in case

Okay, this is Cameron George is joining us very shortly. We're going to take a break. This is the sunday simbine on triple M Teamwork camaraderie respect All qualities you won't find on this show This is the sunday simbine Welcome back the third hour of the sunday simbine we are live from Eden Park as triple M rocks the footy For pepper money if you're game plans change refine at your home line with pepper money Credit assessment conditions fees and charges apply the raging bullgood and talus James Graham Brent Reid Bendob and with you Cameron George not far away he'll be Joining us within the next 20 minutes Let's talk roosters and also dolphins that clash that we'll be taking place next Friday night the roosters Successful last night did a very nice job in the end of defeating the sharks and now they face a dolphin side at Suncorp stadium for a chance to go through to a grand final Gordy jammer

Where have you got the roosters placed at the moment and can they continue to on their merry way without sam walker in your opinion? Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes They can go through the middle they've got speed out wide they've got x factor they're great in the air They've got so much attack. It's whether they defend It's just it's just whether they have that mindset cry and come back You think he's going to be better for the run so they'll have their edge Edge summed up. They've got a great kicking game. Daly cherry Evans has played at every level. He's shown That he can win at every level So they got the experience they got every yeah the advantage that they have going up against the dolphins is Is experiencing the big game is in the big moments through state of origin representation and as a football club You know their staff. They all know what it's like to to go all the way um I think on paper I'd favor the dolphins, but you know that the roosters Even without sam walker their team on paper with like we said I think they lose a lot with in a creative sense with no walker and he keeps the

The opposition second guessing defensively, but then you go back and you look at that conno what and try That that's a timely reminder that this team Can score some miraculous points as can the dolphins so it's a it's a finally I think Next Friday's game is going to be absolutely sensational really looking forward to Yeah, really You give them a chance against the dolphins and can you see them going through yeah of course again particularly of sam's back I think sam will make a huge difference for them Might they're playing well enough now if you're based on on the performance on Our last night at Saturday night. I mean certainly they can they can win that game and you know We spoke about as as I said I mentioned sam walker with Daly cherry Evans If you remember when he was weighing out where it would go this year the dolphins were in the mix for Daly And Daly's got a connection to that club to Redcliffe through his family I think he played junior 40 there dobo didn't he in the cherries cherries the cherries are part of the Evans Yeah, part of Redcliffe the fabric of Redcliffe so it's gonna be a special occasion for him as well

But I think there are every chance of being the dolphins. I thought they were they played great last night Um, and yes, so I wouldn't be putting a line through them. No way is Is Daly feeling the pressure? I don't know I've ever gotten Gordon it's the first time he's ever knocked back to do a interview and that was last week I know it was in place. Yeah, and it was in touch and he normally win lose or draw He's been very focused on that very good And then it's interesting it's interesting that Readie he knocked back requests last night. Well, not surprisingly not even I've been a bit critical of the roosters in recent weeks So that didn't you know you always are But he did not back up as well. You know what the asic look I'm doing Santa Claus at the moment This isn't on DCE The player should have to talk. Well, you're not telling me any like come on Like come on At this scene for everybody. Paul can said he was in America right they'll bet the tip off in the final series

He could walk into any dressing room and go get Michael Jordan to talk to him. Sure Wonder why it was the biggest sport in the world and everybody wanted to wear his shirt and shoes and everything like that and then we've got players here and the bigger picture is You're not talking to the guy and I tell Wayne Bennett this I've told everybody You're not talking to the guy with the mic you're talking to your fans You're talking to that one person that one day might come and buy a ticket might come and see you You watch every player now they've got their shirt brand. They want everybody to buy in on it It's part of a platform that you can go out there and sell yourself and sell your message Why are there laws in place? It's gonna it's gonna make us pay you know So he's the boss now and there's one of him or maybe the media is gonna is giving more Make gonna make more and more millionaires out of NRL footballers than ever before and just have it is just a Mandatory thing you have to speak. I just don't want to and look. I get what it's like being in the four walls of a club and an organization It's just against the world. We're gonna give them nothing They don't want to talk Until they're retired. Then I want to come and sit with us

It's true The culture should check it would not that for you. We're prickly around media for a long period of time I know and I was wrong because you know what one Can you just repeat that? Can you just repeat that please? I'm not I was wrong That's please I can't believe it. I'm about to fight you've admitted you're wrong anyway. Go on James Look what one sentence. Oh, yeah, we're really pumped up from the performance We're excited to take on the dolphin. I agree. That's all you need to agree That's all you need and the fans of the roosters get all this a level of excitement That's it. You're not giving any we can finish this next. We got it. Yeah, we have we're gonna take a break come back The big dogs are in the in the building Cameron George is CEO of New Zealand warriors. He joins us next is the Sunday scene being for pepper money on triple M The world is coming Sting up all of from Torsar better now than we told you from the films Be League World Cup

2026 it's on our turn We're really woke up on triple M it's funny turned out. It starts October 15 on triple M For McDonald's and Reemhaar Mordor triple M rocks footy Oh This is the Sunday scene Welcome back triple M Sunday scene being for pepper money. We are live from Eden park ahead of the New Zealand warriors taking on the newcast or night's Dan Gennane will be your caller for that one last night roosters 46 sharks 10 They'll be taking on the dolphins next Friday night. You'll hear that on triple M and Penrith Are waiting next Sunday to take on either the winner of the warriors all the nights We are very lucky to have the CEO of the New Zealand warriors Cameron George joining us this afternoon in studio Cameron firstly congratulations How excited are you for this one the Sarbo? Yeah, welcome boys. Yeah, very excited about this today It's it's bigger than just us as a fully club. It's it's for New Zealand. It's a massive sporting event

We haven't had this kind of event here before for rugby league from an our real perspective So it's really pleasing to see the take up the passion and the the buying from everyone around the country Cam thanks for joining the show obviously here at Eden park Sort of a bit of a split amongst the punters and someone to stay at home some delighted And that they they're going above and beyond with the 48,000 I believe What what are your thoughts on the location of today's game? Ah look I'm more excited about it to be honest Jimmy It's um there's been a debate for years whether we should play here or play at game media stadium Go media stadium is our home We train there we work from there and and we all appreciate what that does to different footy clubs, but you know for us if you you want to walk into the fire or winning premier ships and being a big club and all that sort of thing It's you got to go and play at stadiums and aren't so familiar to you But we've had the opportunity to train here I think the guys will get more out of the fact that we've doubled their audience Not only on off off the field in terms of TV, but in stadium and and you know like people saying it's not the same atmosphere and all that

But we're only comparing that to rugby union to be honest. Um, so you don't need to do that It's a bit like origin rugby league today unlike I've been here for both yeah, I watch your blacks play the wallabies here and I come here for the nines It's a it's a unbelievable stadium, but today Tell me this about your fans What like what is it because you went to magic ground and you were the best fans by a country mile Is that a real you know force for you guys to make sure that you tie into Everywhere you go whether it's new southwales, Queensland or especially over here. Yeah, absolutely gaudy um I think Kiwese just proud You know, they're they're proud the community they're they're proud people and When they see a little bit of them offshore whether it's in the UK or in Brisbane and in what you're referring to and magic They want to be a part of it. I want to connect and and This club's done a great job on and off the field to connect with all of New Zealand You know, we truly genuinely ask every New Zealander in the country to feel like and connect with his light

They're out in the field with his and wearing a part of that jumper and um, you know, we're seeing that in drives where we go to Christchurch Wellington this year Go media stadium. We we just Do everything we can to connect nationally and internationally and um, you know, we're not a corporate club. We're just a hardworking man's club And I've tried to you know, absolutely retain that sort of perception Um, you know, my jobs keep the pies warm beers cold and wherever his jobs to get wins and and we just have a lot of fun along the way Man after my own heart. Hey, Cam Brent read back and Sydney here Congratulations now look. I think it's about 10 minutes till the teams get whittled down right the cutoff Nine minutes before kickoff I believe it is Give us the drop like our la cima and dallin. What's what's the latest? We've only got 10 minutes to wait then Calon, okay, if you're over here you might have seen a lot of insight Charlie white

You were asked and you decided not the calon, don't carry on go on Cameron. No, no, I think you know I've got no doubt. I just saw liquor out there with a with a warm up t-shirt on so You know what that means are you'll know in 10 minutes But I mean I'm very confident that we're going to have a good squad full squad out there today and um, you know It's a big effort from him and down on that if they get on the field. Yeah, can you tell us what Andrew Webster's bought this organization because There's no side in the history that I've watched the game that they've lost three halfbacks in a season and you know They'll so close to win in the minor premiership. What what what is he bought to the man? He is a real people's person Smart foodie brain absolutely smart foodie brain really innovative but Before they become that foodie player on Sunday He's made him feel like they're the best person in the building all that week and makes them and their families feel like You know, everything's right everything's connected any problem You know, we get into into into work to try and sort it out But he's uh, he's just a real you know real

Transparent communication wise and just um, you know emotional emotionally wise um Just every player knows it they're welcome to Unload of whatever they can to get ready for for the weekend Can I a key component to of most successful clubs? Um involved a strong pathway system It's bearing plenty of fruit with people like like a hula seema um but with the rise of the popularity of the warriors I'm on a national level as that really helped and where do you see this going in the future? Yeah, it's um It's been that absolute Most clear thing to me that's underpin our rise from where we were to where we are now like pre 23 We didn't have any pathway systems, you know You know regardless you know regardless of COVID even pre that we we struggle to have it for various reasons Um, but post 23 when we come home we made it a priority and we got Andrew McFadden on board is head of pathways and developed Crouppen and all that sort of thing and and Jimmy what we're seeing is seeing us being able to connect and

Educate kids at 16 17 about the standards required to reach the levels you guys have and that's you know Where he's not coaching anymore at the top level. He's just managing and executing game plans where the pathways is doing all the coaching for us And just because of the rise and popularity have you found it easier when you've got a You know an impressionable teenager that would know that have the all blocks at the absolute Top of the pedestal, but then now there was Erwin Bogue if you found that those conversations with those teenagers easier to have to get them to You know go down the path of Ruby league as opposed to Ruby Union. Yeah, it's been a huge shift in the the mindset of the kids coming through and We deliberately went after 15 16 year olds at the end of 22 to try and reengage and re connect because when we left the country They were 12 13 year old so they never touched footied. They never been to a worries game We went after the next generation of ticket purchases footy players and all that sort of thing And they're the high school kids that started playing rugby and league and so on and but now the conversation is so much easier

The NRL's quite a cool sport to be a part of and Any ambitious young kid here in New Zealand knows that they can now stay at home play for the warriors and Have a bit of fun and being a successful system You know, we're really proud of that Hey, Cam, there's been a lot of talk about expansion in recent weeks And it looks like we're going to expand Um been talking about Christ church Hamilton Do you have a view on that on where potentially we should go in New Zealand if we go to another team in New Zealand and what whether New Zealand's ready for another team Yeah, it's obviously a very very good question with so many different views But that one thing I will say is I've just given a demonstration what pathways and so on will do for a footy club It's not about a shiny new stadium and all that sort of bullshit stuff If you don't have the pathway structure to underpin a footy club You tell me one that succeeded and there's been none We tried to didn't work in New Zealand as domestic competitions aren't up to the level you require for a footy club

So to give you that example we fly a six teams over every week to Australia to play in the New South Wales Cup It's because there is no competition here equal to that level of Compatition or QCUP So if you're going to drop another team in here all of a sudden you fly in 12 teams over there because there is no domestic competition So my simple view is yes New Zealand should be worthy of consideration for another team However the success of that team will only be because of investment and a five-year strategy to build competitions up here Then we don't have to fly all these kids over to Australia every week In fact, what will happen the other 16 clubs that come every shopping every week anyway Might start to affiliate themselves with domestic Clubs over here and it will improve the competition instead of taking young kids to Australia from New Zealand and losing Meow the system they can leave him here for longer at home. So Absolutely New Zealand deserves to be considered but only after a strong investment strategy

Does the NRL help out enough here because our game is probably 50% Polynesian now and like I started with wholesome philipana or whatever like a long time and go But fast forward today they are the greatest players the player game like you get enough help here in you know developing the kids We we started to get more and more engagement the NRL to their credit have just employed someone to be on the ground over here And he's a great conduit to us to you know get the word through the NRL Peter Velland is great great person for me to ring there is a passionate in connection there and There's an ambition there as well because it might not be the 20th team could be the 21st of the 22nd team I don't know but they've got to start because every club benefits from New Zealand's not the wild worries The other thing there's five rugby Forances I franchise is over here. So we haven't got the country to ourselves by any way shape or form But if we get a domestic comp right and we invest right will blow rugby union completely out of water because that's where it starts Cameron can I ask you

We saw James Fisher Harris come back to the New Zealand Warriors Are you finding that player managers are ringing you more often with players and we talked about Jordan Ricky here earlier The broncos are resigned to the fact that he's going to be leaving they believe by 2028 We said well he's proud proud Kiwi he wants to come home He probably are you finding them more players wanting to come back and join the Warriors then what they have been in the past and Players that obviously left early when got educated on the goal coast went and now they're like hang on We don't have to do that anymore. We can stay here our whole life We can be raised here and we can play for the Warriors. Are you seeing more of that happening? Yeah, we are James has been in a a trial blaze and I think in that regard he just said I'm going home for the for he said reasons and There they are you know the the interesting part about this is you know When you come to the Warriors you play for a culture and I'm not just talking about an environment culture I'm talking about heritage I'm talking about a country that has a culture and if you're going to play in Australia

You might have the Bulldogs culture, but it's only within the four walls. This is in your blood over here Now we're going to get to experiences with Papua New Guinea It's going to be the next team that comes in with our in blood culture And that's a big big difference for a player when you've had a chance to come home Two New Zealand and be a part of this and we saw that our indigenous round this year We performed our own club Haka for the first time in 31 years And it just sent shivers down the spine of every e-way and cultural Connected person in this country and that's the difference That was powerful. Yeah, right and and and a club culture if you know the main is that what you were spoken about on the show before around Finding extra extra levels in finals for the Warriors is their best way to advance finding those levels Through emotional connections to culture because you go back to that permanent game and you know It's easy to reflect with hindsight, but it was this the Warriors were never going to lose that game because of

You know the the pre-game rituals that they they had on that day. Yeah, Jimmy Absolutely, mate. This club's built on connection to the land in New Zealand's build on connection to you You know e-way where you come from your mariahs and all that sort of thing and we take a lot of pride in representing them and this club Has some amazing People involved in it that just truly and are connected to their grassroots And that's what I'll drive them today mate regardless of the school line you'll see an effort there today That's that's based upon where they come from who they represent and together where one is New Zealand today And we're not gonna let that one slip. I know this might be difficult to predict Let's see you get the win this week next weekend in Sydney against the panoramic Panthers What different to the Warriors fans going to make to that contest if they get there? Massive we're going to war next week if we get there mate It's we're flying over there to win it for New Zealand and it's a three-step approach It's today. It's our grand final in New Zealand in New Zealand next week. It's the war to win the big war

And you'll be calling on all New Zealand just Get down to a trustee. Peter won't have problems and that you know play all these games you get people to buy tickets next week They'll be there they will be there. Yeah, I'll tell you they'll march there They'll drive there. They'll walk there, but they're going there to in their jumper and colors that they're super proud of Cameron We really appreciate you giving us some time this afternoon This is going to be epic in a couple hours The kickoff best of luck and look will be down to your box very shortly and I go on's already about half time What do you mean? I'm smoke bumming again I smoked a blast not welcome any time Thanks for being with us. We're going to take a break that was Cameron George is the Sunday scene being on Trouble M Teamwork camaraderie respect All qualities you won't find on this show This is the Sunday scene Well The Mac Trouble and Sunday scene been we're live from Eden park ahead of The New Zealand Warriors and the Newcastle lights how impressive was Cameron George can I just say so refreshing?

We will make sure we get that chat up Yeah, and unbelievable And they've done a great job right so they're very humble. I think it's just he and Rob A Like the Hannah Mark Robts and he lives on the gold case and they've done a really good job right to where the Warriors started to To where they are now. There's no doubt the all blacks are still the number one ticket here But The Warriors are the number one ticket every week I couldn't believe that that that even made an Englishman's red hair I was buzzing for that I was I was ready to go and even say They're doing that you know the corporate line is oh no, we're just focusing on this week He's he's planning to go to war next week. It's so cool It is it's so refreshing Final now We just said about some players not doing media like is that not yeah inspiring for every Warriors fan drawing your own zealander cross the streets like yes, we're all in this together and I matter as a

If I'm a Warriors fan, I'm listening to that going I matter to my club. They will fly Drive walk to get there to watch it If they get where their colors with pride like they always do it's like if they get through tonight Of course stadium next week will be spectacular against tenoreth. There is no question Yeah, like they do a lot of things right like I just want to like when I went to Canary when they played the Cowboys open up that new stadium anywhere I was there and I spent a bit of time with them They had a they had a special jersey made for that area and it's where clubs What they did on the back of the jersey? They had the color like a like a flag of every Team that plays a New Zealand Represented on their back of that New Zealand jersey that run out there and I'm like it's the little things It's the small details when they talk about the culture run and through You know your organization and Fisher Harris and that now they got the leader there But leadership starts at the top and there's no now. I know why they're out there Playing so well playing for a chance to go take on you know the greatest side in the modern hit

You know history in penrath next week. Yeah, that was a fantastic. Yeah, it's a great interview boys Got some team news as well for the Warriors pretty important team news for the Warriors Lecala Seema and Dallin were tennis the Zalessniak were both start In this game so both been cleared to play means it Adam Pompey and Luffy can't perreure go back to the bench For the Warriors and Dylan Lucas made the final cut. So he's in the new cast on 19. So two years in the 90s He's in the 90s and he couldn't run Yeah, a dislocated ankle didn't he? Yeah, but like the way the players Mate the way the players are healing. Jesus. I'd love to get that NRL physio guy. I mean, what's his name? I love him enough. Brian. Brian Sennie. He's a mate. Mala. He's a legend. He's made that. He's my favorite. I should be the I'm healing quick on mate. Well you get Charlie Charlie I love yourself. No, but but like the healing powers of players these days, you know You got Isaiah. Yeah, like no seriously

Well, I don't know whether the scientists come that far ahead But you got players now that that were in a moon boot and they you know and they play and I saw Resfolge I caught up with him the other week and he's may he'll be running I think you know three weeks before the Australians. So so they do heal quick and I don't know whether it's a side or the moon Luffy can't perreure on the bench though. He's quite unbelievable. So the you know, Luffy has been very good He's on the bench and obviously so that news that Brent Reed has just made very clear We saw it 20 minutes ago, but just out of respect Yeah, but really that was great news Okay, it is now time for the raging ball We take you

All right, Gordy. Look at this No, no, well, well, we don't well because we have the I call BS and normally I'm raging before we get to the last hour of the show But as all middle aged men and women are We're getting a bit sad that rugby leagues finishing in a couple of weeks right? We've only got three weeks to go This is yep two more weeks after tonight. Yes And rugby leagues on but then we got the World Cup and then I'm excited Right that we're going to get another eight weeks six to eight weeks of our amazing game played all around Our great country And then I just keep on reading and hearing rumors about players Getting ruled out and ruling themselves out and I would love to see The fact that this of the World Cup. I just hope that there's not pressure from clubs That's one thing I hope and pray that it's not pressure from All the clubs being a little bit selfish And the player can have his six weeks heal now and go and play just so he's right to come back to training and the control freaks

That run these clubs right have their players there where I would like to see a player get ruled out because no No coach in the history would ever ruled me out from state of origin or ever ruled me out for playing for My country right and they wouldn't step in on Harry Grant. Hey, Harry you can't go play for Queensland You've got a little niggling thumb Would they ever would they ever stand in the way from someone playing for New South Wales? No, but would they stay in the way of someone playing for Queensland or Australia? No, they don't but I find sometimes when they play for the second tier nations and that I think sometimes the players Well, it's not only second tier top tier nations and top tier nations playing out But look I get exactly what you're saying and both of you guys have played for your country But There's also got to be the clubs that's their employer in their investment So their investment is into that that and so if they have a little I'm not having them. No, no, but what I'm saying is if Do you let the player go to the World Cup with a niggling injury? Yes, the player gets ruled out the player gets ruled out by the club physio and then

Yes, you do let the player go and play through a little bit of pain because I think if you ask the players They all know playing for their country what they don't enjoy is the That the overreach from football club so it's all about that poor unnecessary pressure on them coaches in the game. They wanted to Inject guys the train Correct and I know that yes, right But it's okay for you to do it But it's not okay for him to go do it and represent his grandmother He's grandfather or whoever he wants to go and represent So I just think it's a little bit unfair Yeah on those plays Oh, no, it's okay. You may I want you to play through pain for our jersey, but not for you could yeah, but not for your country I mean, so I just so I just pray That if any but that if it's happening to those players They should have someone that they can talk to and just get my number and ring me because oh you'll go in a no Well, I'll go in the back room because I don't think that it's fair that if you get play for your club And they want you to do it, but you can't do it for your country That means just as much for you and sometimes representing and I know what it's like when I had my family's name on my back

And I wore the kangaroo and the emium on my chest and you with England like I like I said in their eyes and it means More to those kids and that's what they've dreamt of right and their dreams become a reality And they're playing a well-cup in Australia and I'll get the play probably in front of their family and friends and I think it's important to our game and the development of our game And we put stuff like this on so the players can go there and express themselves Yeah, it's a huge it's a huge area of potential growth the international game For our sport of rugby league and I think you should never ask an individual to make the choice Between country and club. Yeah, because a lot of players they do love playing for their club And they they're grateful of everything that they wouldn't have in soccer absolutely And that's what and then that's not what the well-cup for some of the Mickey Mouse things. Yes Of course if it's a friendly proper well-cup If it's a friendly in Australia playing of course that they might run out with their under 23s And I do get that right but if they're playing a Mickey Mouse sorry a fair income game to get into a qualifier

Best players should come back absolutely. We're gonna take a quick break come back. I appreciate your support Yeah, I'm mine board. We really appreciate your time. Congratulations on the win last night mate Thanks, mate. Cheers could be it It was a great win. Obviously you guys back in the way that you would have been disappointed after last week I think I spoke to you on the field and you were guys obviously shattered with that penra result What was the week like and to to to to wash that away to make sure that last night's performance was sound and that you could keep on and alive in the competition

Um, mate. It was really simple. I think Um, we did a lot of positive things So it wasn't about walking in with our tail between our lasers about looking at the good things we done holding onto that And then just getting back to the plane route. What do you say? I'm super positive last night. Um, so to the win and and come for Friday night Hey, Victor at score. He tell us here. Make congratulations Last week you look like you put so much in and just how disappointed you guys were walking off Did you have to talk about it or you just Or it looked worse than what it was like you guys were ready to Ready to go there and rock against the sharks Um, mate. I think um Teddy got us in right at the end of that penance game and kind of nipped it in the bud straightaway said hey Boys, this is an opportunity now. This is an opportunity to go um You know, three more games you got to attack them Um, that was that was obviously really disappointing, but a lot of positives in it Um, put it behind us now and just worry about that next job, which was the sharks and um, we did that well So I think Teddy getting us in straightaway and kind of nip it in the bud

Um, I think just helped everyone just go move on really quickly Hey Victor. It's Jimmy Graham here. Congratulations on the victory yesterday I just want to expand a little bit more on those conversations Post game because although you didn't get the result. I thought you shut you guys showed enough um, it is Was that the chance that would be in hard in and around the the the week at training that if we keep doing that We're not that far away and you know if pameroth come again. We think we've got their number And there wasn't much chatter on pendants, but there was talk around um Those good things that we done and and to be in these big games you um, you got to defend well and you got to defend your goal I think we done that really well against Pinterest obviously super disappointing They got that feel goal at the end and then kind of had that that that runaway try but Um, I thought our goal on defense was outstanding So that was the thing we wanted to hang on to and I think we had that I mean buckle loads again last night We had kind of a five minute period where they they got to tries She's I spent some time in our goal line in that in that first half and and I think pameroth was the same when we kept turning them away

So that's super positive as much as we don't want to be there for that long um, yeah, it was good science Hey, Victor Brent re here um, obviously you head up the suncorp stadium now you got some good memories from suncorp Stating already this year Going back to origin, but what's your thoughts and going out there to play the dolphins next week? Um Mate we're going up there for for a tough match to put it simply up Um, I didn't play in the two games against him this year, so I kind of watched it Um on telly and and kind of um Sitting in the lounge room. It was really it was really difficult one because Um, you know, they were they were turning up for it. They've got a bit of a bit of fire in them. So um, I think turning up for the physical contest is The only thing I'm thinking of at this moment will probably look at some more things um tomorrow at training mate But I think first things first we got to be going up there ready for a physical contest on um on suncorp stadium Where I know they've had 20 to joy this year, so um, that's my job anyway Hey, Victor can you leave the little number six is a line that have so shoulders

Oh please matey kick the ball My first kick didn't you get it? I was civil canyus mate. Yeah I listen my lips all clear. It's all good. It's like the little guys alone, mate. Oh, I first second the author That whistle that blow Hey Speaking of little guys some walker um How how important is is he to your your team's chances? We know he plays such a unpredictable style um Did the rooster's need him back to go all the way? Um, I think he's gonna be back mate. So and that's only gonna be positive for our team You know no matter what happens we don't we don't necessarily need anyone I think Um that next round up mentality enough Doing as a team is the most important thing one person's not gonna win this competition But having all of our bloats in the field is only gonna help so um You know, I'm looking forward to having sammy back. I'm pretty positive. It's gonna be this week after seeing him move at training

You know on on Thursday, so um, you know, it's gonna be awesome for us to have him back in his energy And he's short hidden game and and those those um, you know, unpredictable things you're talking about Yeah, that's massive for the roosters. It will be sold out next Friday night at Suncorp Stadium in that prelim The roosters have had prelims before they got a big fan base as well It will be an epic Friday night prelim victoradley enjoy the week. We'll catch you next Friday night Thanks for being with us on triple M Legend, thank you. See you later. Good idea. There we have it victoradley And that's great news for the roosters fans that sam walker looks like he's set to return next week Look at the cat out of the house.
