16:31I felt bad question did she communicate with you that she had financial trouble answer I don't recall her communicating financial troubles but I don't believe she had significant resources question why did you think she didn't have the resources to continue because if I may was the house that she was in New York she owned that prior to dating you was that right answer she told me she did question so why would she need 7.2 million to continue you know a lifestyle that she had seemingly before you dated her answer yeah for the upkeep I just thought it was the right thing to do question did Miss Maxwell did either of you request or go through with any form of non-disclosure agreement or any kind of agreement about disclosing information about the other answer not that I know of question so she never asked you to keep anything confidential about your relationship with her answer no question Miss Kateh did you mention that she owned the house prior to you dating you and that's what she told you did you have any reason to believe that was not the case

Wait not that I can recall Miss Mace okay and then have you you said that you financially supported Galein Maxwell I think to the tune of around 30

21:45mentioned very briefly in the very first hour you talked about the 2008 plea deal that was given to Mr. Epstein his subsequent imprisonment and everything that came out about Miss Maxwell following that so my question is did you learn that she had been labeled publicly as a co-conspirator of Mr. Epstein while you were still dating her Mr. Wait no Miss Katae you did not learn that until after you broke up with her Mr. Wait yeah I think it was much later Mr. Skaldani can you clarify when she was identified as a co-conspirator Miss Katae the reporting did not come out until I'm sorry I don't have the specific year but it didn't come out until a few years after he was in prison but that's why we're clarifying today when you found out Mr. Wait yeah I wasn't it wasn't until after we broke up Skaldani jumps in and just for the record I don't think any co-conspirators were identified in the 2008 conviction and the process leading up to that Miss Katae that's correct she was not identified in the plea agreement but it became public and she was labeled labeled

22:47publicly as a co-conspirator as time went on Mr. Skaldani okay Miss Katae and that's what we're referring to Miss Mace what year was that Miss Katae I don't have a specific year when the reporting came out but it was several years after he was in prison while he was never in prison so there's that Miss Kallen and which I think he went to prison twice could they the first time he went to prison which was in 2008 no he didn't go to prison these people don't even know the story how they're gonna get us to justice Miss Kallen I think I mean I don't have any recollection of any co-conspirators being named in that time frame so I think in order for us to all pine on that we would have to see a document Mr. Spector the non-prostitution agreement names for women none of whom are Ms. Maxwell per my recollection but it did name for during his initial arrest and it says these four and all other potential co-conspirators and subsequent to that there are media reports that indicated that Ms. Maxwell may have been involved that's what we're referring to Miss Kallen I don't

23:49think that there's there was not it wasn't widely reported at the time I also think that most of the documents were under seal until recently Mr. Spector Mr. Wade I think you've already been but I want to be clear again do you have did you have any knowledge during your relationship with Miss Maxwell that she was considered to be involved in Jeffrey Epstein's crimes in any way Mr. Wade no Miss Kallen question thank you for clarifying that during the course of your relationship then you not knowing that she was being accused in any way did she defend herself to you and her involvement with Epstein in his capacity as her employer answer yeah I recall late in our relationship her denying involvement with all his crimes question did she ever defend Mr. Epstein answer I don't recall her defending him question do you generally remember whether she thought the allegations were true answer I don't recall getting into with that level of detail question I mean he was her ex-boyfriend he was convicted of a serious crime you don't recall any conversation

24:50about how her general feelings towards his conviction answer like I said she downplayed the event she met it seemed like he you know you got a better deal and you have the conversation I just remember her denying any direct involvement with it when I asked because I asked about it like I said I wish I would have done more research at the time around the 2008 time frame I wish I would have I didn't think to question and including the time frame that follows your breakup did you ever contact her again once the news started coming out more frequently and she was in the press and being labeled as a co-conspirator involved did you ever contact her again to discuss that answer no question okay I'd like now to turn to Ms. Maxwell's civil suits specifically did you assist Ms. Maxwell in any way with any of the civil cases that were brought against her answer no question and more generally did you ever witness anything suspicious about Ms. Maxwell into relationship with young women or girls answer no Miss Callan he's answered that like six

34:24Ms. Mace, do you think it's odd? This is an opinion. You can tell me the answer or not. But do you think that it's odd that no law enforcement apparatus made any inquiries with you at all about, you know, Epstein or Maxwell's potential involvement with Epstein? Because you all had a relationship for so long? Did you find that odd? Mr. Weight, that's a good question. I might not be the right term. I was kind of expecting in a way, Ms. Mace, weird. Ted, wait, I wouldn't say it's weird. No, I had no direct involvement. Mace, yeah. But just being an associate of hers, did you find it off-putting at all? You know what I mean? Like I would have assumed that law enforcement would have investigated anyone that she had any kind of relationship, business, or personal or otherwise for an extended period of time. You know what I mean? Mr. Weight, yeah. I'm not familiar with law enforcement, so I don't know.

Answer I do not. Question, do you know, generally, of her ever finding employees to work for you? Answer I think she did assist with finding like housekeeping staff when I was setting up a new house after my divorce with my wife. Question, did you ever find anyone to help you in the office with your foundation? Answer I don't really know. I don't believe so. Ms. Mase, can I ask one last question? Then I'm out. Ms. Cathay, yeah. Mase, okay. Going back to the $7,211,238 gift to Maxwell, was there any legal document between the two of you about what that money was for or why anything for any legal or liability reason? Was an attorney involved? Was there any documentation about what it was? Mr. Weight, it was handled by my staff later. I did not want to have any contact with or relationship with her, so I think the final

37:30negotiations were handled by my finance and legal team. Ms. Mase, did you normally pay off X girlfriends? Is that a thing? Ms. Calend just for the record, he was married when he founded his company, then he dated Ms. Maxwell, and then he got married again shortly after. Mase, okay, but there would have been some kind of legal document between the two of you about that money. And do you know how you arrived to that figure? It's a very specific figure. Mr. Weight, I believe it was a deduction for the gift tax. Mase, okay. Weight, it was deducted from it. Mase, all right, that's it, thank you. Mr. Spector. You said it was the negotiations that were handled by your staff. Answered the final elements, yeah, they were handled by my team. Questions so just to be clear, was there some kind of negotiation back and forth? With Maxwell about the amount? Answer, I don't recall. I think it was, I recall they're not being happy with the amount wanting more, but that doesn't matter. Questions you wanted more than 7.2 million? Answer yeah, I didn't, so gets cut off by the person asking the questions.

38:34I'm sorry, just to be clear. You wanted more than 7.2 million? Answer, I don't know. I didn't want to have anything to do with it. I had my team handle it at the end. Questions so from your recollection, maybe someone on your staff informed you that she was unhappy with the 7.2 million? Answer yeah, I think someone on my staff might have said she was very unhappy with the breakup and she was not, you know, in a good state. She was quite devastated by the breakup, so at that point, I didn't want to get directly involved and I had my team handle the final details. Question sure, thank you, Miss Katee, question to that point outside of the cash, 7.2 million, and other money you might have given her. Did you have assets that you and Miss Maxwell own together that was tied up? Answer, we didn't have any assets that we own together. Questions staying on the topic generally, did you have a professional or financial relationship with Miss Maxwell outside of your romantic relationship with her? Answer no, like professional or financial. Other than the financial support the 30,000 a month, there was no financial relationship.

39:38Questions so to clarify, did you have any sort of business relationship with Miss Maxwell? Answer no. Question you never invested any money in business ventures that you brought to you? Answer not that I can recall. She invested her own money in some business ventures, but I don't recall having any investments that we did together. We kept everything separate. And so you and Miss Maxwell never had any joint bank accounts? Answer no. Question, are you familiar with El Max LLC? Answer that was the name she used frequently. Question, and that was the name of an entity she owned. Answer I'm not familiar with that entity specifically or what it did, but you use that, the El Max name. But it sounds like something that she would have had. Question understood. Do you know of anything else that she named El Max? You say she used it for other things? Answer I think her email address was El Max, I think, that was a company like her, so I don't know if at some point, I don't know if it was a company or what it was really. Question understood. And since we're on the timeline, we've jumped around to the end of Y'all's relationship.

40:42We've touched on it in various ways. But you mentioned ultimately the relationship ended because you knew that you weren't going to get married, and we talked about Mr. Ross' team. So Miss Maxwell said an interview with the DOJ in 2025. That the relationship quote couldn't survive the blackmail threats that were issued against you by Mr. Ross' team. So why would Miss Maxwell say that? Is the reason the relationship ended? Well, because she's a liar, that's why. Answer I have no idea. Question did she ever express to you during the break up? That that was the reason for the relationship ending? Answer not that I can recall. Wait at any point during your relationship with miss Maxwell and will include the couple years before that in early 2000s did any other friend of yours mention Jeffrey Epstein in any other way answer I never heard a Jeffrey Epstein until I met him in 2003 question and did any other investors or anyone else try to get you to invest with them in any way answer no question and outside of your family and your lawyers have you discussed this investigation or interview with anyone else answer just with some friends I think question and which friends would that be answer again I don't really want to name them specifically but I have

57:30kind of a rule that I would rather have somebody hear something from me than from somebody else so I did some text of family friends and other people that this was going to be happening because I'd rather they hear it from me than read it in the press question understood mr. Spector question did anyone attempt to influence your testimony answer no question we're approaching the end of our hour but just kind of one general question we talked a little bit about this but just a kind of maybe put a finer point on it you were dating mr. Maxwell she was working for ex boyfriend who had been accused of crimes against women and girls you're aware that he's been accused of those crimes and eventually serve time for it you said that you took mr. Maxwell at her word and that she wasn't involved so I understand that's your testimony but where you not you know this was your girlfriend at the time were you not worried for her safety or maybe legal exposure for working for a person like that answer again it was my understanding that I didn't know that she was still working for him at

58:30that point in time I knew she had worked for him in the past but I didn't know that there was or privy to what their relationship actually was she was quite stressed around the time of 2009 I'm not exactly sure around some of the subpoenas depositions testimony that she was supposed to give around some of those some of the lawsuits that named Epstein she never told me that she was named in a lawsuit but she was quite stressed about it question and as you know of course you're a very successful person extremely successful person and you're a public figure and you're providing at this time question more comes up about you when we google you than about me so about my standards you certainly are and you know you're giving mr. Maxwell your girlfriend a $30,000 a month salary already during this time and you're hearing about these depositions and again you're aware of her past association with mr. Epstein were you not worried about your own exposure maybe PR exposure for being connected to her at that time or even were you worried that she was going to come asking

59:32for money to defend herself I know you said that you didn't provide more legal fees but were you worried about that answer I was never worried about any financial exposure I should have been worried about PR exposure I'm here today question but you weren't at the time answer I was not at the time didn't cross my mind I wish it would mr.
