Hey there, welcome to your weather update for Monday, October 5th, 2026 in beautiful Montreal. I hope you're ready to tackle the day. Let's dive into today's forecast. This morning you'll be starting off with temperatures around 8 degrees and it's looking like a wet one with moderate rain coming down. Make sure to grab your raincoat or an umbrella as you're probably going to need it. As we move into the afternoon, things will warm up a bit to a high of around 13 degrees. With the sky being partly cloudy, it's going to be a bit of a mixed bag weather-wise. Keep that umbrella handy because we're expecting about 6 millimeters of rain today, so it might be a good day to stick closer to home or office if you can. In the evening, temperatures will drop to about 10 degrees. The rain is expected to continue, so it might be a great evening to cozy up at home as I saw, maybe with a good book or a classic Montreal bagel in hand.
Tonight, as you wind down, it'll cool down to around 5 degrees, so if you head out for a late night stroll, you'll want a layer up to stay warm. With winds coming from the west at around 7 kilometers per hour and gusts up to 17, it might get a little breezy. Before you head out, here's a quick heads-up if you're driving close to the city of Oka, Sainte-Ustache, Point Calumet, La Chute, Stéagat de Malle, Saint-Gérôme, or the Pierre-Font. Kennesetake is home to the friendly little tree gas, an indigenous-owned gas station where everything's tax-free from fuel to an array of unique snacks. The prices are fantastic and the service is even better. Google it for directions or check out their Instagram at Little Tree Gas for the latest specials. Located at 1401 Stéphilomain in Oka, it's a stop that truly makes sense. Swing by and see why it's known as the friendliest tax-free shop in the area. Thanks for tuning in to today's Weather Rundown. I'll be here again tomorrow with
your next update. If you're enjoying this show, share it with a friend or neighbor and leave a five-star review. It helps more people like you in our wonderful Montreal to get informed and start their day right. Stay dry and have a fantastic day.
