Expressed on analyze this are entirely those of the on air participants and do not reflect those of the stations board management staff or underwriters. We're back here analyze this it is Monday today is the 14th of September and of course on Mondays you know we do the table talk. I believe we got to a Henry joining me as well. Monday comes the whole you. Good morning sir. I'm doing well. Good you got to doctor from the gentleman from St. Thomas. What would a doctor out of the way she busy this morning or she did it. Oh. Welcome. Welcome. See if you can make that connect the limit. No. No, no, she's step she's bowing out to this. She's a little under way. No, no, whatever. Okay. Good thing. Good thing. Um, um, Louis do a call also joining me from the not said us in Thomas looking at the Atlantic Ocean at the Caribbean sea. The one only done at the school three times a senator. Most recently, but Jardely the 30th legislature of original is good morning.
How are you? Morning, Mr. President. You're truly dark James son. So I just want to say that. My grandmother's the Apple dough mix all up. So morning. I'm not talking about the dog. James son. I'm probably question like anybody in the history of the boys. Just one look at them. It's the nose, baby. You know what I'm saying. It is what it is. The pro baskets. And of course, uh, professor professor Malik. He's a mile parts of the original. But mostly based in rock city. Good morning, Professor. How are you? I'm a little bit. Where was this? And dogs that the same has a V. I ring it. It's also. Mommy don't make me. Well, the color mommy and he is a guy that man's support.
Hey, I do. And I tell him, and I'm like, by 10 o'clock, I had a long time. I never knew existed when I got here. I eat. I'm saying so it's all good. That's what it's all about. So Malik, you are talking about that paradigm shift. Political paradigm shift that took place in 2000. And I'm saying this. I'm saying this because in 2026, we end for silence, as well as those of us who feel self is part of a large American family was the psyche. And I think it was rap or arms around certain in convenient truth. This shift that's in front of us didn't start with Donald Trump in the start. It was earlier. And the republicans. Actually, the far right about the republicans had a long strategy. And in the jobs of Bush era, it was alcohol. Actually won the election. But the Supreme Court and the leader decision.
It gave the victory to George Bush. That's a historical fact. That opinion. And that ruling. One of the famous lines that came out of the ruling was that Antonin, the leader said that Americans don't have a right to vote for US president. That the only right for presidential vote is based on electoral college. And there's a electoral college power that determines the presidency and electoral college in the beginning in the first 20 years of the United States was basically Congress deciding who would be the president. It wasn't a really election. So they use the so called original interpretation of the Constitution to justify putting charge of you, Bush in office and the changing office. And we could look at a long journey in which the republicans have been extremely careful in changing the rules, changing the ground rules, what is true, redistricting and dealing with ethnic politics on their terms in a way that by the time this president president became who he is and power.
The state of China sees complete power of the system. So right now, the public and have control of one branch for 20 years in the future, which is Supreme Court. They will be tough. Even in the loose Congress, they will still have power in the Supreme Court and the country has 10 power in the exact same branch, the best for the time. But that can be lost. But in one branch, government, they clearly have the capacity to be in power for the next 20 to 30 years. Now, now doing the reality is Supreme Court are lifetime appointments. So the only thing that is guaranteed, sort of speak, where the Supreme Court is changing and the Supreme Court is concerned is nobody lives forever. That's correct. I mean, we shouldn't let anybody, but that that basically if they don't retire, the only way they are no longer on the Supreme Court is if they pass away.
Yes, one or two have resigned, but I'm unusual. And the president actually made that point in his first term when he appointed people like Kavanaugh and A.C. and Amy K. K. Barrett. He said very clearly he wanted to appoint very young conservatives so that they can sit on the court practically forever. Democrats have been appointed, you know, with an exception of Elena Kagan. Over the years, Democrats have been appointing all the people. You see the Republicans have been appointed. If you look at it, much younger people. And that's why the court is at six three, though, because, you know, of course, you know, with RGB, you know, again, with the good data, again, but I mean, when she was holding on, holding on when she could have resigned and let Obama, at the time, had a majority in the Congress to appoint a Democratic leader person and a very young person.
So now we really they in a stitch because as you know They may be from from from from for the equal Sato my Sato my own yes, yes, it's so tomato. Yo has very bad diabetes. I mean, it's well known, you know Yeah, I wish it not not but Like I go out for too much and if that it happens in the next two years Trump will be appointed another first. She is a she is She's a Obama pointy Kentasi Jackson Brung is a Biden appointee who appointed Kagan Obama Used to be his chief counsel. Okay. Okay. Okay. I'll tell you the white house counsel to that Okay, that's why me to come in same with except for the in a king in
Over the last it's prior to to buy them the democratic appointments have been these older people whether we're probably kind of Point meant I did much younger Look at it. Look at it. So tomorrow was actually hearing us so tomorrow so tomorrow my York came here in 2017. I believe it was Yeah, and She made a stopping scene Thomas and St. Critt. I'm not sure that's in question. Winner's in Thomas to dox. She was over there I was on the committee. I was on the committee that brought her here. Oh, okay. Okay. She's Yeah, she can't let's see why and then they've brought us in Thomas for one day. Okay. Good. Good. Yeah, and a dog There we go Yeah, and and and doctor you know, you know, it was nice of all her commenters and great. She went to Thomas beer carry man And the secret service had to have to put it and she got secret service with her high security detail ducts
I'm going in the big going in the bakery to get at to get things that you can get in a supermarket to go go to a bakery for it Dox school I know I don't Thomas be great when I was when I was a coms a groy when I was in the senate yard to stop at Thomas be Then might as well say it might them when we look at session of course, you know for those of you who don't know the version That's all sessions are held in scene Thomas and if you make the mistake I make a mistake one time dox school We we had a party Kanoso or named Dova Use the best party and I say you know something I go hook up them and in transportation and we had a Thursday It might have been a committee meeting Comité the whole whatever it was I say again by dova go by a holy paper 10 surprise them and who tell me to do that Every time I go comes in credit while we stop by dova before I catch my plate that comes in it Good joke, but but yeah, you bring up a good point Um doing where don't forget also, you know when when Obama
Dox school in the United States when Obama wanted to appoint Mary Galen He did not have a Democratic control senate and Mitch McConnelly let it be known We ain't Um considerate known nominee from Obama in 2016 we gonna wait till the election done And that's how That vacancy I think was feel I think gore such Actually was the the one who filled that vacancy when trump came in in January at 2017 so um Dox you absolutely correct Um, there are a lot of dynamics Moving parts. I think that's a better term that are in play when it comes to what happens um in America because One thing about trump he like to go to court And typically everything for here in up in the supreme court and and That's an in order to uh and and it's it's weird it's not weird, but it's just complicated
voting in in a november general election Actually has supreme court implications dox school Well, it it it it does have supreme court implication because the The individuals who are going to be elected They can if the democrats win You know they can form an ethics committee and and and look at the ethics of the of the supreme court And and what is going on and the and the legislature can power legislation to do certain things and That's that's one of the reasons I believe that they continue to want the Republicans to stay in office because they were Republicans and are calling for these ethics thing like like uh justice The justice is who are out there You know basically profiting from the position that they in they need some ethics to do so I believe The supreme court has their role to play and they've been playing it and they've been playing it and they haven't powered
The president of the united states. I mean that the office of the president is not only done on trump because those powers that are Given to the president any president who get elected after the Donald trump has those powers But whether or not they would carry out those powers like The president is doing Uh governing by executive order that that is what's going to happen. So now now we're looking at it the senate race right the the senate because There is this belief that and it's historical um Alexi cool um the the party that's in power heading into the midterms or assume power heading into the midterms they typically struggle in the midterm election cycle and of course with the republican governing trade factor right now the democratic party um based on who you're talking to they look like they have uh a lot of things in their favor What respected the house however in the senate though
Which they thought was pretty much safe I would keep gridlocking place a lot of races are now Getting into that toss up window But the but the one the the highest profile senate race of them out taking place in Texas right There was an AARP pool And they said that talariko leads in Texas senate race But older voters prefer Pakistan right so here check out check out these numbers like other producers of the dancing time Right it said talariko is in a lead with 48% of all likely voters choosing him Compared with 44% that favor Pakistan But talariko support is strangest among the youngest said Paxen enjoys a comfortable lead among voters 50 plus We're 53% support his candidacy compared with the 40% that lean towards talariko As a 13 13% lead for Pakistan with voters 50 and over
Right they also say in Texas 84% of voters 50 plus describes themselves as extremely motivated to vote Compared with 70% of those younger than 50 So when you hear them kind of numbers they are trying to say but how is this man how it talariko leading If you lose them by 13 point which is a big big number With 50 and over and 84 84% of the 50 plus Are extremely motivated to vote. Well here's a reason why You said but these numbers tell only part of the story Independent voters Make up a third of the electorate in Texas They're leaning toward talariko by 22 points And he knew sir. This is who's running against abat for governor by 11 points Oldest swing voters who are not straight ticket Republican or Democratic voters Favour talariko by 21 points and give abat a 31 point margin
So Malik the misogyny is still in effect In American politics. I mean we just sighed two years ago with with with Trump and And Harris and you're still seeing where You're Folks may be going to vote or right now they're in the polling when they're in the polling um polling window sort of speak Hinoza and and talariko and the same ticket yet talariko leading by 22 and he knows only leading by 11 Well, well, I want to have a little new turn just before you give it Texas Um, I don't think you get it quite right what happened with Mary garland Uh, the democrats had the votes, you know, I think the mistake that was made is They they appealed a convention on written rule not to Obama upheld a written rule not to consider This supreme court nomination because of the timing so he had the votes and that's a mistake him it
Unlike Trump Trump doesn't I'll buy the any rules. Yeah, Trump when it comes to make an indecision For supreme court justice. He does what he think is best for his party So I think that's the mistake though in in Texas like to have a little Texas understanding No because of the other time In Texas what what happens is that the dumb balls The numbers don't say numbers Don't say we think because what happens in in that state Still is divided into regions So the southern region as opposed to the border Where in the past they've had an immigration issue The immigration issue in Texas is complicated Which is that there are some immigrants who are criminals and then many who are not criminals And the people in Texas They were like pull a rise into taking a position in the past today The third issue that is much that has emerged not whether the Immigration criminals are criminals is how ice is operated ice operated with a heavy heavy hand
I insist where they don't make a distinction And there's been a few cases where ice has killed innocent people in Houston, Texas So there's a anti-ice sentiment There's also social problems where there's a tremendous voter homeless in Texas too I think when you see the Texans are prepared to be still conservative because You're probably going to party they play in the homeless this issue the crime as it as if it's a democratic party problem But the democrats so back at the in public comes That the ice issue is a is a growing threat and also the lack of social services So that's where the numbers are so close Because they use in these social issues in idolatial terms We we gonna take a break and I know come back We're looking at the mainland politics and also going to incorporate some of the local politics as well because I had on The down-historic Nelson team and Freyde and Gustavo James can be joining me tomorrow And they can't do this because well we'll take a break and be back right after this

I like this a table talking affect I got my lexical docs cool underwear Henry Ah the consular join me consular Um, I will I sent I sent you the um the article I sent the full article to the air air PR call Malik I sent it to you know um so you are looking over uh as well Um the pocket book on determining the election. Do we do we have anything different from previous elections? Yes, absolutely. Let me start with Texas
What's going to happen there because the maga super pack already said that's the only reason which they are great They know the thing to spend money So Texas is going to be all about money and You've been another it's a thing that people see in terms of the demographics there traditionally uh Mexican-Americans are quite conservative, you know, yeah And they make up they make up a huge portion of the population and people just forget about they thinking is Why people against active that they're the Mexican-Americans and the both Republican especially in Texas and Sonny And that's like that's a huge thing. So When you look at those numbers, you know, young people old people and think that you know If the independence they think but when they're Mexican-Americans coming heavily under Republican side We gonna see is gonna be problem Um, they teach me of us of people justice um Um
Alan was alluding to that that um if a democratic Senate come in and go do ethics here The last The impeachment of a Supreme Court justice was justice case back in the 1800s and ever since then the congress has been Loved to interfere in the affairs of the Supreme Court as a matter of fact even the Supreme Court judges I think the last one got impeached was the gentleman from Florida who later ran for um I see I see here's things I was it. Yeah. Yes. Yes. And he was the first one in the year in other words It doesn't happen that generally the the The the congress don't like to interfere that way in You know who was sitting on a court Consistent on the court point of removing people Um and consequently it's like that for things between the different branches and then consequently the The Supreme Court when it comes to Congress sitting at some people I was different
I said congress is all means who gets to sit there so You know there we go with that um and but I went back up with Merrigala and I think um the good professor Confused to face you are correct Merrigala and was appointed by 16 2016 by Obama and um in the last year He was he was he was nominated to his nominated by Obama right great I've been nominated is the word I meant to you was um listen to what I mean that what I see um and But you're correcting that The Senate refused to schedule a nomination um won't It's a decilit it said is not gonna happen Mitch McConnell said he's not scheduling the booth and that's what happened What Obama Who'd have done What he says do a reset some point man. Yeah I mean I did chose not to do that Well, that's the feather that that that that's the feather that dog school been
That that that's that's the feather well hold up a second hold up a second now Let me gain the full education more. I'll use educate us right The the president nominees a Supreme Court nominee right that's how the process works right The Senate is where that nominee goes through the nomination process right Um that vote the judiciary committee correct That's the that's the first stop and then the full body right but you got a clear Did you do the sherry committee right right um Miss at the time When Obama took over No when Obama was first inaugurated in 2009 he had a democratic controlled Senate Well in 20 in 2010 there was major rebellion the tea party was in effect right and he lost the house And the Senate remember that's how bainer bainer took over the house in 2010 2011 right
And for the remainder of obama's um Two term and a half I guess it's a term and a half because 2010 to 2016 yeah um To 2016 um the Senate was the Senate on congress was in control by Republicans all right By the time he nominated Merrick golland in in early 2016 I believe it was in the spring Um the Republicans were in control at Mitch McConnell as the the the consular just stated Um Didn't want to schedule uh any kind of vote now Malik is right when he said that Uh he had the votes because there was a likelihood that there were Republicans Who would vote for Merrick golland? Because yeah yeah yeah yeah but not only that Merrick golland never lose a kiss Merrick golland had one of the most impeccable Um Julius records ever come before the ledger before the congressman for an amany right and I believe that's the
reason why Mitch McConnell didn't want to To have a vote because he didn't have an argument against Merrick golland right Exactly why other other than the fact that he was an obama appointee But here's the deal and ducks are gonna start with you and then Malik The reason why we have the acrimony the polarization The the deep line of demarcation in America right now named us American politics in America Is because there's a percentage of America that will never Never Forgive America for voting for barricle bama to be the president of the united states. That's about him. Let That's a god on his truth. Yep. That that that that is absolutely correct and Uh once they get in the In the house of representative once they get into to congress they are continue in the senate they're continuing That's southern uh Public policy that they had you know are part of it because the southern the southern tragedy mm-hmm. Yes, that's that way
really say that you know the Last the war what last about last about it, but it was one the war and that is a continued perpetuation Of the southern strategy Like Mitch McCollum and these guys making sure that the judicial system That is there whether don't down in uh point in injustices All the way down to the Trot the sub-trot that the the south carrying the policy of that southern That southern aspect where a black man Won't supposed to be the president of the united states that was include that was exclusive And they continue it through the judicial process as we as we discussed earlier and the long term range of Making sure that the the judicial branch
Specifically the supreme court Carries that policy and they get a couple of black people to go along with them like Clarins Thomas No, don't check this out. What does that mean? No, no, check this out Malik the further we get away from 2008 The more we realize what a remarkable accomplishment Obama Um made a reality by winning states that have not gone back in the democratic column since then And it might seem like yesterday by his eight teammates now on most of generation, right Well, I hold on. No, no, I don't let me just take the let me bring out these three states Indiana Obama won the state by a resort in margin becoming the first democrat of carry Indiana since Linda and B. Johnson in 1964 arguably the greatest year in the world right the greatest year in history of existence 1964 right Malik you have you with me on that all right um north Carolina
Right, so we had what 2008 or 64 that's 44 years North Carolina he secured a solid victory here marking the first time the state voted for a democratic presidential candidate since 1976 so that's 32 years And of course Florida which now is ready Right you you if you if you really want to call a speed speed you could set a flourish will be ready right now Right and Obama flip this major swing state winning 51% of the vote right and it's saying 2012 when running for re-election Obama managed to win Florida again but last but in Indiana and North Carolina To the Republicans so when you're looking back I did the fact that he went not them tree-steed they in the same year When son Malik And given the animus now and how people feel about both both Obama and Obama no not too much about Obama the feel about Obama being president You gotta look you gotta look at all these dynamics man
I didn't have different got I had different got wrote here in say tabas then and what you're talking about so All right counsel said it correctly that the president could have used The recesses are appointment. Yeah And I use Westman talk when I was a little boy with a pair of marble He was opposed to take 30 steamy Oh I might my problem with that approach and I think this is where There are mega people have a upper hand when it comes time for them to execute whole moves Is a pull out big bum steamy every take man. They don't play Before you became a regular in table talk that's something that school used to barbothal it's a fed up of sis let's hammer
And yeah We believe you fight fair and when someone comes with a bush frame coming up a risk fair You can't when you up against a political foe a rival who who should have mercy you can be half-step it and this is the mistake I see with a democrats and I don't I'm not saying all democrats are the same But I see that way in which they're unable to take the fight to a logical conclusion So by by that doing that you can see today in 2026 that Even if in the midterm elections that the democrats have gains even even 2028 the democrats when the presidency The republicans will have the traditional brats in the next 30 years Yeah easily and like wow I see that they made a bold move 20 years ago And we got the freedom to sell ourselves the democrats if they seek to ever get this kind of poverty once I don't have to be long-term thinkers and be we willing to pull out the steel and the big bum man
When and place of hard marbles Well Is the result of that project 2025 I just integer I'm not no Real quick. Yeah, you know Another thing is democrats most democrats will try to do the right way we publicize don't And I'm giving example Justice Thomas was conformed by a democratic senatoral correct Absolutely All right Imagine that a democratic congress Joe Biden was the one who shepherded two two to the judiciary committee Yes, you want to do they share it for me teacher. Yes. Yeah, imagine that Well, well, you know something then you know you know what a real problem is then then Um the problem is the electorate I mean, I mean, let's face it right docs
Me, are you me, I mean, I No, hold on a second. Here's here's the point that I'm making right What is wrong with being compassionate? You know, what is wrong with having a heart just because one side lacks passion and is heartless with their politics Don't necessarily mean that I got to be like that right no I'm not knocking I agree with that I agree with that right but but but What is speaks to docs cool right is that the electorate is not paying attention to details The electorate definitely No, hold on a one because I want to make this last point We hear this all the time right in particular now I don't like to use my sports axioms and outlet stuff right I've been watching tennis for the last two weeks Right And the young man Ben Shelton was in the finals yesterday
against um Alexi Alexiana's very And one of the things that I've always had a problem with with Shelton and Francis T.O.F.O I believe that they are not under the requisite emotional control To get across the finish line they have the physical talent But they lean too much on crowd support In order to to get to get the job done Now you're gonna win some matches But to win it out you got to temper right You got to temper your emotions and here is the sports axiom Uh, and it applies in real life as well Um, do a Henry, Alexi Kwan and Donald cool Whenever you let raw emotion Get the better of sound judgment More often than that you're gonna lose don't get me wrong. Don't know Right emotion or win sometime right And what going on now right and and where the Republicans definitely have the edge over the Democrats
Is they know how to rail up their base and do the let emotion right galvanize them to certain victories But in the end looking what has gotten us We got diesel at six dollars a gallon right now and here's what trump tell tell tell um Tell it if the press corps and the plane coming back Um from Ireland have axiolinsky To not hit the Russian refineries Diesel is being driven is being driven up by the fact that it's having a hard time coming out of Russia That's a case that hurts the world and we've got to stop it no dark school Wasn't it Donald trump who tell the whole world once you elect me? I gonna take care of it The Russian conflict in 24 hours. Yeah, yeah I'm absolutely and this is September this is the middle of September in 2026 and 24 hours I suppose I happen in January January 20th or 2025
And why did why was that successful raw emotion getting the better song judgment go ahead dogs Well, the Republicans are over the years have studied That same emotion and there's certain issues never Malik and council That these people gravitate to um crime Violent immigrant family values In immigrants in veil in immigrants invading us coming across the border right and the religious sect That they believe that So Certain parts of the bible that they To do don't apply to them like we were back in slavery, you know and That controls the whole the whole gamut and since United never guys. Yes. Yes. Yes When the whole thing went out of the window. Yeah, there's a pretty good money on all of us So I We
We go we go. We go and talk. I speak was I using a street and I really Know what I look but those schools are perfect. I just know you say money talk But we know what about we know the back side of that. They were he didn't go there But I want to say that to something the lady who raised me Let's proceed to cinch I call us a bit lab. The a hat which means the old lady I mean it in a sense of respect because it's punished lab The a her means like a old lady as a sentiment and then and one of our famous Sains that was called a devil by his name which mean if they're very straight part of a certain issues and And when I speak about it the public says I'm not praising them, but I'm saying if there's one thing that I observe they do especially in this this present Faced in that but it's my the movement is that they go for broke. They don't play. They don't they're very Should do they go for the go for broke and the other side
Yeah, yeah, the favorite the first Yeah, I thought blow I can't go behind me with a switch. You cannot go up that pull a belt. That's the time on whip come after them But that's what no, but that's what LL LL cool J. Say how are you gonna go against an army with a hand knife? And Hand it But before you do that before you do that let me play the clip that I mentioned that My down our trip was talking about Zylinsky. I don't want to probably think I'm just making things up on how that stuff You know, I'm very very serious about Validating what I say so I want to play that clip so that the public will hear what he said to the press court when they were playing You Sooner Russia is that you know a lot of the diesel comes diesel comes and that's the one where this a big up that comes from Russia And the Russia just plants are being hit by Ukraine and I've asked
President Zylinsky not to hit the diesel plants refineries. Is it potentially that Ukraine work at hand? Is it potentially? It's being driven up by the fact that It's having a hard time coming out of Russia and that's the case that hurts the world. We got to stop No, no no gentlemen You you you just talk about about um Slayshama, right? Slayshama reference, right? The piano. Yeah, right? He asking Zylinsky To don't fight fire with fire Do I easy and Russia who invade Ukraine you see the kind of craziness that the world has been subjected to now but But never but I start blaming and so I'll go back in time There was an Iran Iraq war that started in 1979 80 until 1988 You don't have to say it for forges
Iran for it's right You know that I was an navy I was in the navy 1981 the U.S. Open supported Iraq and cold for the support of Iran they had a But Jake you know what I'm talking about All of that all of that look now the biggest sham The biggest the biggest sham in American politics is its diplomatic Supposed the diplomatic relationships with countries across the world Support saying one thing publicly and financing them Um covertly that's the that's the biggest sham in American politics What I what I said about I'm not over there Is the U.S. is on both sides in this country they're with and with and against Ukraine That with and against Putin and the the continues war because the U.S. benefits regardless
And this is a repeat of history. No, I'm holding up to remember this. I was in navy when it happened And it was amazing how in the first four years that I was a hero to the United States under the whole Arab world And then he became the enemy The one you remember that the way you you and the navy then and I'm saying I tell people that The army oh Around Repeat Anyway, I want you to look a politics for a moment You know, it's the largest exporter diesel in the world The United States Russia is second and in jostle but Russia has had a man since since since 2022 So
So one and since he's a one and since he's a exactly but but But when I might just say about 25 minutes ago, no the problem is the electorate Because he says these things and they believe it hookline and singer and the problem occurring to the what what what what the school been telling us for years is the media Because they're not correcting these factually incorrect Factually incorrect assertions and statements also known as lies Malik Blame is the colloquial top analogy you are make a V.I. you are make a V.I. reference I'm glad that you are interview in these Our editorial teams and I try not to weigh in too much And these you know teams and my public Turned alterances a one challenge. I see with the four challenges that our electoral politics Um seems not willing to step up to the larger issues and I was only listen to how our candidates
Debate At every level we don't seem to understand the global the regional context And this is unlike the past up until fairly recently our governor candidates had to kind of have some grasp of all Global issues impact us. I don't quite hear that level of Sensitivity I hope never with your immense influence or what he's counted it that they bring the age In how they approach these issues because we're in a bind in the We depend heavily on the United States the US is being led by a very adventurous leadership and I don't think people they're gonna stand up that the United States Uh gets the flu we get in COVID-19 we in trouble And I think that uh The cost of few has been hiding estates. It's killing us. Hang saying something. I don't know what's in point We get in to bow when it comes to the fuel cost of living
I wait. We have we we we've had a walk out of yesterday and Uh, I think it's either seven That's the sea next to me People in the park this morning people have a car and carrying on and Facebook mind They said everything I can't see over the radio They went down but because it's for almost 12 hour at 12 hour Uh, uh, a period level Wow Saying it said I'm that point in thing that's at anybody at I don't want to ring the call in or say or a single point in or name calling But this situation wafers is breaking on our backs and say and that much you know And I hope wherever you come to new governor Delegate the Congress and whoever the senator can turn this around because this cannot continue So the polar propane if it has to step up to address these issues But the school piggybacken I want my league just said you would think given what we went through Um, with with COVID and then that was compounded with the Ukrainian invasion Which undermined supply supply chains right supply chain shortages and all that's the impact supply chain
Um shortages you would think that all candidates Would want to be studying up be a little bit more learned about what's happening externally because we're a consumer driven economy doctor Well, I As Malice I don't want to be commenting and Publicly and what I'm hearing always speaking generic. We're speaking generically. Yeah, absolutely correct in terms of Global politics and the impact these are seven dollars and change over here and on it. Oh, hmm I have to get some diesel to put in my generator because I keep going off. I'll let them be seven dollars For a gallon I like the way I like the way of pronouncing it. You put out why after the g gallon I like that one there And I want to talk about that. Oh, did you know that was a plan? That was a plan outage Because they were fixing Some cable and and and and the essentially a plan outage that they were coming back at six But I guess you know when you open up you doing surgery and you go in you might think you went in for this particular thing
And you find something else and and not not not saying that You know what happened at 12 hour thing, but There was supposed to come back at six, but it didn't come back to the chair. Clack this money never wow, okay And I mean it is thing but it was a plan outage because they have to fix that fear that in three to thirteen That they have to fix to send up power to the extent well Yeah, I before we go never like I wanted to leave this and I know you're not a type of one I want to get doing a transfer to popoo tie on it Yeah, I did And this one that the other one audience to be left at the supreme court is the ultimate power of United States in this Formal government the legislator if the supreme court does something is Is unconstitutional the legislator has the ability to combat and Change at unconstitutionality and and create new laws. So they're not there the ultimate object Founding for the fathers
Recognize this separation of power doctrine and gave that take the the the the the rovy way This the congress can come back and say this is what it is But because the congress is controlled by the Republicans they allow these things to happen and allow the supreme court decision to stand Okay, but the legislature can come back and change ruling that the constitution say is the supreme court is unconstitutional. I yield Thank you very much Consulate your recognize and by the way consulate basically what what those schools saying in so many what or can be interpreted as There are some good things the gridlock Okay, if you got everybody on one side dominating Then you don't have that the the counter argument strength is not the same if you got gridlock Then you then you got then you forced to be bipartisan your recognize Yeah, yeah, we're quick The doctor what I was saying early is that when it comes to composition of the bodies
The each body tend to respect each other in that sense That's why it was so unusual when the supreme court actually weighed in in um Bushly Gore Because normally that's not his you know, you don't want to get involved And and the Senate and the Congress and the and the and the the Supreme Court have that understanding But yes, they suppress the Congress and you know, it's the Supreme Court But they probably won't do it as like I said in the case of justice chaise that they're done for the criminal activity So you know and they think we prove that the president are going anywhere The reality is this gentleman We are in a social media world right now Can you imagine the things that We're in with our dealt with in those smoke failed back rooms. That's it. That's what these are referred to right back in the year right Um, no ideas
Yeah, time in the hall and all that stuff right no no ideas with social media when something happened It goes viral instantaneously Right the problem with it right is that there's also the flip side where when someone lies or misrepresent the facts It goes viral instantaneously as well and people tend to believe things on its face and and It's not true. That's right. That's right. So that's why you need that that's why you need to a rocky labelled We're telling us about doc school for a lot of years like other productions in Thomas and sing John Emotional emotional intelligence man. You need it You're right and you need it from your leaders in particular You can't over react Tom Landry said you guys just see me that with that stone face and my fedora and the reason why I so be that way is because You can't be running around like a chicken with a head and a calf just because you're filed behind by 10 points Or you're up by 10 points you got to remain calm because you never know what will happen Around the corner and that's what I hope that we bring to the table when we have our table talk discussions
