news, expert advice and insider tips on the world of cars on East Coast Radio.
Today on Motor Minute we explore the Leap Motor C10, which is a mid-size electric SUV aiming
to compete with many vehicles, but we'll talk about one of them, which is the BYD Ato3.
So what is it?
It's modern, it's electric, and it boasts a spacious cabin with a large central touch screen,
digital instruments, and it delivers a quiet ride.
Now families will appreciate the room interior, and it does have elegant appeal,
like most big premium SUVs.
Under the hood, the C10 uses a rear-mounted electric motor that produces around 160 kilowatts,
which is enough to get this SUV from 0 to 100 km in over 7 seconds.
But it's not built for speed, it's built for smooth and effortless driving every single day.
Now the range, which is very important in electric vehicles,
the range is pretty good considering what it does deliver.
That's all I'm to say.
Safety is another strong point, the C10 comes loaded with driver assistant features,
and scored a five-star safety rating, including strong results for adults and child protection.
But it's not perfect, charging speeds top out at about 84 kilowatts and fast charges,
which is slower than most of its rivals, meaning longer stops in the road trips.
Now I want to say this upright, most electric vehicles don't look good,
but the leap motor is that and more.
So what do I think overall?
The leap motor delivers great space, lots of solid tech, and it is competitive with all its rivals.
Now let's just talk about the price.
From $759K, you can jump into the leap motor C10, and I can guarantee you,
it will be an electrifying experience.
