Again, that's RaidersExperiences.com to party with the nation. We're on Nockfee with Nockfee injury law. Over 1000 of our cases were referred to us from other lawyers. When other lawyers trust you to handle their cases, you should too. Hall Nockfee at 702 injured. Hey, welcome in. I'm Paul Gucci. I just joined today Raiders linebacker and a Kobe Dean. And Kobe, thank you so much for taking the time and all your busy in the middle of the week getting ready for the next game. But before we move on, let's look back here real quick at what just happened against the Chargers. Ten tackles tied for the team. High. Seven of those being solo. Half a sack. Two quarterback hits.

A huge force fumble. What is that like to, I guess, you know, at the very base level? What's that like to force a fumble? Like, I'm not only force it, but in that situation. How good does that feel? It's something we work as a team, as a defense. Yeah, I'm the coach who's kind of harp on. A hundred ball with something that we definitely drew weekly. So it was definitely something that we kind of, we prepare ourselves for. So it was good to be able to get a takeaway. We always got a goal of getting certain number of takeaways in these games. So it was good to get a takeaway for the team. For the audience, for the viewers, the fans, what does that feel like when you hit somebody that well that the ball pops out? And then do you know right away? It depends on the situation. It depends on the, I don't know. I put my hat on. I put my shoulder on the ball and then popped out. I kind of felt this arm slip. So I kind of knew something happy. But sometimes the ball don't come out. They got their other arm on it or something. But the thing that the name of the game is continuing to point. It's continuing to search that ball the whole game. Then you're going to come out eventually.

You guys are two and no starting the season off. And then the way that the fans are feeling really happy about this. But it is early in season small sample size. How does it feel though getting that division win against the chargers in LA? Your first experience seeing what Raider Nation does in Los Angeles? Well, first of all, it's always good to get a win period. Definitely in the field. But like you said, it's just two and a half. But I hold, I hold goal. I hold focus. It's just be one of it in each week. Take it a play of the time of day to time. And this is kind of how it's just our mindset going to every week, every game. So that's kind of how we looking at it. We're not looking ahead at all. And we're dating. So now looking behind us. Right. When we talked real briefly after that game at Sofai Stadium, you talked about how you guys were the firemen. Especially on defense. You had to put that fire out. What does that mean specifically for the defense? And how is that message kind of carried through from Rob Leonard and the whole world? What does that mean? I mean, that's really something that I did not say.

Okay. It's something that I didn't took from. I don't even know where I got it from specifically. But something I just thought at any time was a turnover on the other side of the ball or the team needed spark. I look at us like that. Like I said, look at the defense. I can fire me. We come out there without chest up. Head high ready to put the fire out and get the ball back to our office. That's just a couple of meter football right there. So looking at where you guys are right now, there's a common theme with the Georgia Bulldogs here with you and Kway. How much of a factor was joining forces with him again and coming to the Raiders and playing with him in your decision to come here? We really didn't know. We didn't know that we both was coming here. We talked about playing on the same squad. But we really did. We didn't necessarily think it would happen. So when I told him, like, yeah, I'm coming to Raiders, like you lying. He told me he was coming to. But it's a blessing just to be able to be back out there with somebody I call my brother.

You guys both lead the team with 16 tackles each after the two games. And it's not just you two on the team from Georgia. It's you, Kway, Eric Stokes, Brock Bowers. And you've got to kind of up on the practice squad as these defensive end. What does that mean to have that DNA from Georgia running throughout this roster? It's always great to have guys that you played in college. You know, it's a blessing to be able to see the the the the the the match of racing process of us from college to to being in their field and living our dream of things we used to talk about when we was in college. When we didn't have in our year. Exactly like the guys do now, but it's just a blessing to be able to be out there and be able to live this dream with with the guys that you also did in college with. As a unit, the defense is second in the NFL and takeaways. How great is that for the defense to be actually active doing it? Like you said, it's a goal.

Yeah, it's a goal to take the ball away each week. We got it. We said a goal for ourself. We just like say we got continued. We got to do the drill it continue to put our work. We're not taking our foot off the gas any type of way. So we just got to work weekend and weekend. Like I said, try to be one know it in the each day. So we're going to try to be one know it in the each day. You're taking the ball away. The more comfortable you are doing that, the easier it's going to get. It's kind of that chicken the egg kind of thing, right? The more you practice it, the easier it gets. Because it's not easy to try to take a ball away from a guy who practice ball security. But the more likely it had been. So I was taking a deep dive into your Instagram. And we were talking about shoes a little bit before we started this online. And I saw the black Air Force ones. I kind of know what they mean. When somebody wears those and what their mission is, what their mentality is. Could you explain just kind of layman's terms? What does it mean when you're rocking the black air? To put it to simple simple terms is a mindset thing.

You know, it's the type of way I feel like I like to take the way I play the game. You know, I feel like definitely in the game we got now. They try to take a lot of the physical aspect away from the game in it. And it filled with all the rules and everything. But you gotta remember it's still a violent game. You know, you know, I still play it like that. So, but it's something that I kind of mean. It's been like my mindset since I was in high school and growing up and everything I was at. I always had wear black forces. So if you see somebody coming down the street rocking those, get on the other side of the street. Yeah, depending on what you're at. Depending on what you at. So, in the period they got them tied up with that. So, well, you'd be wearing them in New Orleans this coming weekend. Because the Saints, they've got off to a strong start too. They're a miss two point conversion away from being two and a half. They open both games on the road. You're going there for their home opener. They've got some names up and down the roster, especially offensively. Tyler Schuck, the quarterback, is playing well.

Travis H. Ann, Alvin Camarit, running back. Chris Olavi's got 18 catches for 268. What do you see as the challenge from this Saints team? Well, you just said that. You know, you just said they got a lot of key pieces. They can have played a lot of good ball and he was playing a lot of good ball. So, we just got to focus on ourself for real. We got to do the things that's going to help us do our practice. We got to take it the day at the time. We got to practice. We got to leave with the coaches. Our coach and us, the game plan. And we got to go out there and execute and play our type of football. And you've got a little bit of a connection. They're not necessarily with the Saints per se, but their head coach, Kellyn Moore. He was a offensive coordinator. He was a Billy. Yeah, he was. So, what we expect out of his brand of offense. Practice. I mean, from what I've seen is, I'm expecting him to do what he do. You know, put together trying to establish a run game. Try to make it easy for the quarterback and try to continue to get his playmakers to ball.

Yeah. Superdome. Loud, loud environment. Your coach here. And then Kubei Akikocha there for the Saints a couple of years ago. Yeah. You've got experience in the Superdome. I assume being in the SEC. So, what is that environment going to be like for the NFL? I play against the Saints in the Superdome. You asked me, is one of the loudest places to go play mainly because, I mean, you're in the dome. Anytime you're in the dome, the sound kind of trapped in there. Yeah. And the fans do get loud and loud. And then I think it's their home opener too. So, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a rocking. But we've got to make sure the communication don't. Well, I play defense. So, they're going to be quiet for the offense. Finally, we get a game where I can actually hear Robbie on my mic. But the offense got to make sure that communication don't point. Not only the green dot, but also as Kubei Akikocha, you're just a winner. A guy that's wanted every level you've been in the NFL. So, we'll close it out with this. What does that feel like? What does that look like when you try to bring that to this new look, Raider defense?

Just being myself. You know, being myself in an exercise. I mean, I guess my super power trying to make those around me better day in and day out. You know, and I do it in my way. Yeah. Not trying to do it in anybody else's way or do it in the way that anybody else would think it looks like. I just do it in my way trying to make those around me better. I also continue to try to start to be the best version of myself daily. And that's Nikobe's super power. We hope to see you in like they said. Not all super heroes were capes. Sometimes they were silver and black. Nikobe. Yes sir. Thank you so much for your time. Raider's masquerade, powered by confirmed 360 is back for year number three.
