Welcome everyone to the sports gambling podcast. I'm Sean second the money green with my
partner of picks Ryan real money. Cramer. What's happening? Creme.
Oh, basketball twice in one week, Sean.
What is this?
Dunna, Dunna, Dunna, Dunna, Dunna, Dunna. Can we play that without getting things?
I don't, I don't know. I don't think performance is pretty rad.
John Tash. Yes. I don't add on Catalina Island all time. Just happen to have my voicemail cassette tape
right here to play for you. Master showman. Shout out to Jeff. What's that out of the casino?
Yeah, the Catalina casino. For sure. For some reason I thought in my head it was in red rocks,
but you're probably you're now that I'm thinking about the video. It's inside, right?
Yes. Yeah. And it's not actually Casino out on Catalina Island. It's called the casino.
It's like a theater. It's the casino. The casino. Yeah. Yeah. There's no casino to be found
unfortunate. No, went in there open, open up rolls of, you know, hit some slots.
The slot. How's the slot? There was no casino out in Catalina Island. Awesome place though.
But Kramer, enough messing around. We're here talking to play off hoops joining us online
from the NBA gambling podcast. We got Scott right, Shell. Lante Smith. Scott, thanks for joining us.
What's happening, man? Hit on pretty well. So far, the playing games have been entertaining.
So hopefully the playoff are equally entertaining, but looking forward to it instead of seeing these
to be honest flawed teams, we might see some solid basketball teams play over the next few days.
Oh, how dare you. The sixers are more than solid. They took it to the magic.
It's like when you watch the play in tournament or the first four college basketball and you
realize those teams mostly just suck and the 16 seeds get blown away.
Does seem to happen unless you're the maybe heat. It's rare for these teams to go on a run,
but we will see. We'll see Charlotte Hornets. If they get in, we'll talk about that game.
Lante, good to see you. Thanks for hopping on any big, big as surprise from the first couple of
playing games. I would say golden statement. I was completely wrong about them. I thought they
would roll over. I didn't like the comments coming out from Kerr or any of the, I mean,
the players weren't really saying anything. It was more just Kerr. And then I don't know if you
guys saw, you know, I know NBA, I mean, NFL draft is going on. So I don't know how much you
guys can take into NBA. So like they got it. They had a hype video and everybody just screaming
in their phone. It was horrible. And then they have stuff is not even in uniform or not even there.
He's just calling in from a phone. Just disgusting. Yeah, I was with, I was with you guys. I thought
it would be a laydown spot for the Warriors. But instead the team that laid down was of course,
the LA Clippers, Kauai, just peed down his leg in the fourth quarter. They asked, I mean,
Kauai was having a great year coming into that play in game. And it, oh, yeah, Dremon plays
good defense. Come on, Kauai. I mean, it was on us, Sean. We should have gone to the game.
Yes. We were, we said there were more games. It was embarrassing to hear the, you know,
Clippers build this, what, two, you know, billion dollar arena, only to have the Golden State Warriors
fans take it over even in what is a down year. And certainly it's a down year because Steve
Korke keeps pointing out, uh, end of the dynasty. Yep. This is kind of, we're at the end here.
Just playing possum. It's the same when the Niners come to town, Sean. Should have known better.
Yeah. Exactly. Uh, I don't, uh, Oracle South, I guess. To me, the, the surprise was Al Horford
hitting all those threes. I mean, Scott, if Al Horford doesn't go off, maybe the Clippers pull
that out, right? Um, maybe I don't know what the whole team fell apart.
I really did. At the end of the day, it was a situation which you wanted if you had the Clippers,
which was being up by 13 with about nine to go. But as somebody who has roasted Tyleu for a couple
of years, I took the bait again. So that's my bad. I've written off Tyleu and the Clippers before
and that I got lured back into it. And I feel like I've seen that exact same Clippers playoff
lost for about, I don't know, a decade and a half. Oh, and if you only get seen that exact
same wall, five, yeah, five years, they've either lost in round one, not made in the playoffs,
or now lost in the plant. So they've hit the cycle of disappointment, which is peak Clippers.
Have we found, have we learned yet that Tyleu was in fact the snitch for Operation Royal Flush?
That's the other. It's just what just moved on. He was just there. No, no, he was just there.
He was. He likes he likes poker. He was just there. What what?
Nothing happened. He was definitely the snitch, right? Yeah. Well, there's,
you know, hey, if there's one guy not in jail, you can kind of do the math.
It doesn't look great from the Tyleu not snitch standpoint. All right. He was only present,
Sean, per per reports. He was just hanging out there. It wasn't. He was just
new refreshments. Exactly. That's all good. All right. We'll knock out the play in games and then
get to the games on Saturday. We got some serious prices, lot to get to. Kramer, let's fire on
these play in games Friday night. All right. Friday night, 4 30 PM or land of Florida.
Charlotte comes to town. They're laying three and a half on the road. Two 17 and a half is the
total. Scott? Yeah, I think for the sake of this one, I'm just trying to think of which angle I
want to take first. I think Charlotte's going to kill this thing. Yeah. I mean, I really was trying
to think of a polite way to describe like giving the magic a chance. I got nothing. They're at home.
They're going to know it's very nice this time of the year. They lose the go right to Disney.
That's kind of like a bright side, but I mean, look, I was with Sean. I did take Philly
mostly fading the team in turmoil and Philly, despite being shorthanded, just did enough late.
They ran away with it at the end. Bane was very good. Even though he is the one who was vocally
expressed how much he hates the current head coach, but he showed up yesterday. Palo was terrible.
Bronze wasn't very good. Sugs was one of nine. The whole team can't shoot. There were a couple
moments where they got back into the game because Philly also couldn't shoot. Philly both teams
just had a rock fight battle, but eventually these six years blew it open late. Orlando as far
as on concerns and loss cause, I question how much does team actually cares? Do I think they're
looking forward to the offseason? Yeah. Do I think they're going to blow up the entire coaching staff?
Probably. I think Charlotte, after beating Miami in that thriller, trying to make the playoffs
the first time since Campbell Walker was there, I think they're going to bring it. Boss, they faced
all four times this season as they are in the same division. Charlotte won each of the last three
meetings by 15 plus points. So I do think there's a tear gap between these teams. I think
Orlando is just not very good. That's why I did pick Philly in the game, the previous playing game.
I'll go with Charlotte. I think they're better than this team. Does the chance they route them?
But I think three and F's too short. Give me Charlotte. Yeah, I'm with you, Scott. Give me the
Hornets laying the points here, even as a road favorite. They've actually been really good in this
fought so far in the regular season. Hornets as a road favorite. Like to see the energy I saw out
of them. Of course, Paul did not get suspended. That's a nice, a nice move for them. Charlotte,
one of the best road favorite teams, I think in the league. So I'll happily take, especially if you
look, if you just split it up towards what's happening in the new calendar year here. And yeah,
I'll happily fade this magic team. And I thought they got a really good game at Desmond Bain,
34 points, 10 to 16, four to 16 behind the arc. Like you're not going to get a better game
from Desmond Bain. And your points got like, you know, I they did not max. He was 11 to 25. He
was cold there for a little bit. And magic certainly had a shot couldn't get it done. Maybe
Palo pulls out a great game here at home. I just don't see it. Lante, what are you doing here?
Yeah, I like the Hornets as well. Man, I think you brought up a great point with the road,
with the road dynamic with the Charlotte Hornets. So they got two of the best, honestly,
this is probably two of the best wins in the NBA. They went to OKC, routed them, went to Boston,
and routed them as well. So those are two wins that really when they were ascending up in their
trend late in the year. So I think they'll be fine playing there. We had a guy in our chat who
says he was from Orlando in our prior show. And he was saying that they like that. No
vibes there. Nobody's going to be there. And I was saying that I think Charlotte is not far
from Orlando, maybe like six and a half hours. Like I really think that a lot of those fans who
haven't been a part of any kind of postseason, like success, they kind of want to be there to see
that. And they packed. They they sold out 16 straight games. So the fan bases enjoying the winning.
I think they'll travel pack the house. I like laying a three and a half, which you guys.
Yeah, and Khan who had a bad game in that play and game. I think he could have a nice bounce back
game. Maybe he was a little, you know, rookie nerves at home. And now they get to play fast and
loose on the road. So I think Khan can have a nice game. I'm looking at my Khan,
Kinepple, rookie of the year down to 29% on Cal State. It's killing me right now. I thought I had
this one in the bag. Although I accidentally, now I'm noticing that Jordan Tyson first receiver
up to 46% something's happening. Yeah, lay the points. Although I will point out, I was I was
looking at line movement. All of the a lot of places were out to four, four and a half and came
back to three and a half pretty recently. We like over the last like three, four hours. So
something to note, people, someone must be betting or Orlando, but I'm with you guys. Plus,
as I stated on the previous NBA show, the strategy would be to tell Scott there you got all cost.
Let's head out to Phoenix now 7 p.m. Nightcap on Friday. We will be live. Maybe this will be,
is this going to be the game of the night, Sean, or is it going to be the UFL? It's going to be the
UFL game. What am I kidding? Ten seed nuggets who I would told were tanking warriors. Sorry,
warriors who wrote nuggets in the sheet must have been me. Yes. I think it was a copy paste there.
Phoenix Suns the eight seed. We were I was told by someone on this show that what the warriors
might be tanking for a lottery pick. Now we're here. We are faced with the same decision.
Warriors plus three plus one 35 in the money line, 220 is the total. Scott, are we going to fade them
once again? Yeah. So I saw a three and a half out there. It's really a weird scheduling spot
because Phoenix does get an extra day off, which is kind of weird, but we'll see a brace
and elements applying in this camp. They do have some extra time to get them back in theory.
Gloss me those bad on a shoulder issue. He was kind of invisible in the last game as well.
I think I am going to go golden state actually. I might have no flipping here. I think it's
going to be a close game regardless. So I do think that getting three and a half is pretty appealing.
They faced off four times this season. Each of the last or I should say the last three meetings
were decided by a combined eight points. So these games tend to be very close. You have dream
on and Dylan Brooks who might have a WrestleMania situation been with you through the game. We'll see
what happens there. But I do think once again, you're looking at what should be a close game
throughout Phoenix, though. I have some questions about their centers. I do think that for golden state
four zingers will great in the game yesterday. I think he can definitely give these teams
this team problems. Plus if you're looking at Mark Williams and the necessity to get up there
on screens to help deal with Steph, I'm not sure Mark Williams can do that. We saw
Brooke Lopez struggle in that same three point defense yesterday. I can see the same thing
happening in this one. But I think for the sake of the matchup, we've seen golden state before
in these type of games. It was a pure identity win for golden state yesterday. They didn't give up.
They buckled down defensively. Steph went nuclear and they found a way to win. I can see the same
thing happening here. I understand that Phoenix does have Booker who was really bad in the first game.
Brooks fell down. He got a tech as well. Jalen Green was great early, kind of cold off there in the
fourth quarter. They have the firepower to keep this game close. But I think golden state getting
three and a half's appealing at in this game should come down to the wire. If you wanted to go for
the riskier option, golden state to win by one to 10 points is one is a plus two 20, which
that was the solid price. But I'll go golden state. I see a close game.
Lante, how do you see things shaking out? This one's a little tougher to handicap for me. What
are you doing here? Yeah, man, it really is. It's kind of you guys will appreciate this. This is
kind of like a AFC North type of game where I would lay two and a half and take three and a half.
It's definitely like it's that type of game. I got burned by the media narrative going around
with golden state. I really thought I really bought into it because they've been playing like that
all year for the most part. Obviously, even the injuries happen. But I saw Steph and it brought
flashbacks to 2016-2017 when he was rolling. He's a little bit older, but he still has
ability to take over the game. That's something that I just don't see anybody on Phoenix's team
being able to withstand. I don't trust their offense outside of Booker. I know Jalen Green had
a good game, but you saw what happened. I mean, 35 points. He wasn't effective at all. I think
it's plus I think he had one of the lower plus monies on the team with such a high usage rate.
And that's not how they're going to win the game. So it would be golden state for me plus
three and a half. I don't I don't love it. But if you if you gave me a hundred dollars, that's
what that's the way I would bid it. I like that. Lonte. Hey, give me a hundred dollars. I'll give
you. I'll definitely give you a play. If you give me a hundred dollars, I'll bet Sean's money,
not my money. The counter against golden state is was that they're super ball, right? Because
they were down by a ton of points, came all the way back. Al Hoarford shooting out of his
mind. Staff shooting out of his mind. Amazing effort from Dremont. Steve Kerr saying we're champions
for one night. It feels like some aggression's coming in for Phoenix. We saw for Phoenix. We
saw the shooting was so bad with Booker and some of those other guys. I see the narrative for why
you'd want to take golden state and the points. I'll actually go sons here, but I'm with you. I
don't love this because I feel much stronger about the Hornets game, but I do think it was a little
bit of a Gatorade dump and the one day of rest does, I think make a difference. I mean,
Steph is still coming back from injury and he ended up playing 36 points. You know, who
persingus didn't he had like 40 plus minutes, even though that liar Steve Kerr said he was going
to be on a minute's restriction. I don't I just don't think they find magic once again. And
they won't have the road home court thing that they had going for him last game. So I'll fade
the golden state fairy tale here and take the sons Kramer. What do you know?
I thought we were just going to I was fully prepared to lay the well, Scott, of course,
finds a good number by the way. Yes, he always does. Yeah, if you want that three and a half,
I would look towards the green book. Yeah, I'm on Phoenix. I have a note here that golden state
wants the lottery pick. So we still have one more chance to make that right.
Well, and now it's and now it's crazy because okay, C has the clippers pick, which I saw there
was like a 10% chance that ends up being a top four pick. And you look at this draft. I mean,
latte, could you imagine right now, if I'm looking at it right, the thunder of a 10% chance to
get a top four pick. And you look at those top four guys, all of them are pretty, I mean,
latte, what's going to happen if they get a top top pick here?
Man, well, I'll tell you this, if Phoenix loses that that percent goes up a lot higher,
because they got some some pick swaps and things in there with those guys. So I know they're
rooting a lot. I know they're rooting hard for for Phoenix to lose this game. But I will say,
I like, I don't I don't know what, okay, see what they probably trade to pick. But I think it's
really like telling, like they can get in this draft. It's probably about 10 to 12 guys,
who I think are really, really good and can really contribute right now on anything. So
with a draft is deep. And the way that they develop in stash guys, like it's really like scary.
David Stern's rolling over in his grave right now. I mean, DeBonza Peterson, Cameron Booser,
you know, Caleb eight. Yeah, it's so many guys. It's so many guys. Yeah, it does feel like this is when
not the NBA steps in somehow and they get the cold envelope. I'm just looking at how many first
round picks, okay, first, yeah, how many first round picks, okay, see as acquired over the years,
that they still have going forward. Pretty remarkable. This is why the NFL should not allow seven
years draft picture because these GMs, they're just, hey, I got nothing to lose. I want to try and
be a Gia. I want to keep my job. I need to win now. Screw those picks in the future years.
All right. Let's move to Saturday before we do. Of course, shout out to Kalshi Real Money

All right, onto the playoffs. Saturday loaded slate. I even as a TMZ fan, I do always
appreciate the opening Saturday of of playoff NBA playoff basketball. Give you something to do
in between those UFL games, Sean. So the Toronto Raptors taken on the Cleveland cabs,
four or five matchup in Cleveland for game one. What do you want? You want to talk about series
first? You want to talk about game one first game one first. Yeah, why don't we talk about Cleveland
Lane 8 minus 340 Raptors put nice juicy plus 280 on the money line 219 and a half the total.
Yeah, so Scott, again, this was where were you high on Cleveland to start the year?
I would say that Cleveland, I was lower on than most people. I thought they'd be better than this.
I didn't end up being like once again in the middle seats. I thought they'd probably
be a top 3C, but I was not that interested in their court. Just checking. How are they going to do
here? Someone on the preview show may have directed me in the in the with the Cleveland
future that recently came off the books. Not happy about it. I remember when we did the win
totals, I liked the cabs under, which was a bit of a contrarian flag. We once again should have
been listening to Scott. All right, Scott, what are we doing here, Lane 8? Yeah, it's a lot of
points for a team that once again didn't win a game against Toronto all season. They were
all in three. However, all the games happened before December of 2025. So it happened a long time
ago. Longzo Ball was playing back then completely different team before the James Harden
trade, all that stuff. Toronto's been really bad against teams above 500 all season, and the cabs
have been kind of just hanging around. I mean, they finished 22 games over 500. So by being a 500
team for the first two months, basically, they can't really play much defense because James Harden
showed up and the whole defense fell apart. They've had injuries as well. Toronto, the offense
is a mess because they can't shoot. Not many three-point shooters that really are able to light it
up on this team. My main take always actually going to be kind of a cop out answer. I like the under
in this game. I think 2.19 and a half is pretty high. Two of the three meetings of the regular season
did end up landing below 2.14. Both teams not exactly fast in the season. Cleveland ranked 13th in
pace. Toronto ranked 21st. Toronto's offense, though, can be very, very slow in the half court.
Not many, not down shooters. I mean, Ingram can get hot from the outside, bear it occasionally,
quickly, too, but not really known for being a great three-point shooting team.
Defensively, though, they're pretty good. They got different looks. Scotty Barnes,
good run protector. They got Murray Boyle's, young player who can also run protect. They can
rotate centers with Mumu Kishvili and with Portal. I like their overall depth. I think defensively,
they're pretty good. Cleveland, not so much, but I think the pace will be slower. I think you'll
end up seeing a play of atmosphere or total feels a bit high to me. I'm going under. I think this game
finishes somewhere in the low two-tenths. Scott, like in the under, Lonte, what do you think Raptors
Cavs game one? Scott likes the under. I think the, that thing the Cavs are going to bury in
first game. I don't think you want to, I don't think you want to have a team like Toronto. Toronto
is talented. Don't get me wrong, but this is a horrible matchup form. You know, Scott mentioned
the threes. It's not that there, I mean, they are bad at shooting threes, but they don't even take
a tune. So if they're having to climb up you, I don't know if they can do that. And Jared
Allen, Evan Mobley on the interior, like, I know Scott named out some of those guys, but they're
undersized. They can't really hang with with Jared Allen and Evan Mobley can do because Evan Mobley
can take, take the big out of the paint, take one of the bigs out of the paint. And Jared Allen
is in a dunker spot and you have down the Mitchell being able to get downhill. You got James Harden,
you know, taking off some playmaking duties, which, which is what kind of hamper down of the
Mitchell in the past, because Garloom has always hurt. So he was having to score and initiate
the offense. Now that Harden's there, obviously, you're giving up a little bit of the defense, but
the offense is going to be a lot better. I would expect them to pound the ball to Allen and,
and Mobley, I think we're going to see a low scoring game. So I agree with Scott low positions.
I just don't trust Toronto to scoring now. I think Toronto will be fighting in game two. But for
game one, I think Cleveland's going to make a statement and win by double digits.
Yeah, I'm seeing the case you're laying out for calves. That being said, I'll take to Toronto
plus eight. I just, I'm with you and Scott and the idea that it's going to be a low scoring game.
And I think the eight points are going to be valuable. You look at, you look at this calves team
as a home favorite. They're one of the worst teams in the NBA 15 and 23 ATS. And,
and you have James Harden in a playoff game. I mean, that's my little black book. He's
paid Harden, which is the calf. Oh my goodness. Give me the immediately right down raptors.
It's not an elimination game, though. That's true. You might have the way to a couple games.
I saw a picture of him recently. Maybe, maybe I'm a little too early on it.
Too early. But I'll still eight points is a lot. I hear you on the injury concerns and the matchup
stuff. I don't love this raptors team. But I think game one, yeah, I, I, I don't know, man.
Just watching that the calves collapse last year, I don't know if they fixed enough
from what happened last year coming back this year. So then starting off the playoffs to
sleep at the wheel like they did last year, I could totally see that. And this Toronto raptors
team is just annoying enough to maybe make this a game once. So I'll take the raptors and the points.
The public certainly all over the calves, 80% of the bets and the tickets. Plus, you have to
imagine some of the Toronto fans will vacation down, down south there in Cleveland, right? Yeah.
They've spent a nice, nice couple of, you know, no one vacations at Cleveland except if you're from
Toronto, I guess. You, you, you think Cleveland's cool? I never remembered anybody saying I want to go
to Cleveland on vacation. Cleveland, Cleveland rocks. Who is it? Wait, who is the guy that said
that? No, that's right. Yeah. He's never been to the, the rock and roll hall of fame.
Scott, what about the, what about the series? You can play like the spread for the series.
Maybe raptors. You know, Scott's probably got something up his.
Well, game total of five and a half. So he's an interesting way to play these markets.
But Scott, what do you, what do you see in the series? Well, the problem is Cleveland's
favored by a ton and I don't like this Cleveland team. Toronto's been really bad against teams
above 500 all season. So I don't really like Toronto either. But then Cleveland should be this
big of a favorite. No. Are they going to win the series? Probably. But I think as you were
looting too earlier, I can see them struggling a bit. I can see them kind of letting Toronto
hang around. I think it might go a bit long. It wouldn't shock me if it turned into a six game
series. So I'm not picking Toronto to get killed. I actually think Toronto can win a couple of games.
Once again, I understand that it was a different roster earlier in the season. Cleveland wasn't very
good. Three and I was three and I like Toronto. I don't think it's going to be intimidated. It's
of course, it's tough environment in Canada to win over there with the travel too.
I'll go with Toronto. I don't want a couple of games there. I got Cleveland in six.
Yeah, that does seem like the way it's going to shake out. Now, do we take Toronto plus two and a half
the juice on that is minus 125. Or do we just take over five and a half games at minus 110?
Obviously, where you would get screwed there is if the if the Raptor somehow won and it didn't go
to six. Cleveland in six is plus four 25. Oh, okay. That's a fun level prop. Lonte, how do you see the
yes, series shaking out? Yeah, complete. Obviously, I'm higher on Cleveland than you guys and probably a
lot of the market as well. I've been a long way here. So I'm not going to even on now. Yeah, I think,
I mean, they got a decent path as well. I just think the addition of hard and not having to do
as much with with Mitchell. Mitchell's one of the greatest playoff players like in NBA history.
Like he performs in the playoffs. He singlehandedly almost won them that series before he got hurt
against Indiana. But yeah, I think is I think Cleveland is going to bury him to be honest. I give
I get Toronto one game and that's game three. So if you could find like an exact games which
which I think a lot of books have that if you go Cleveland first to Toronto game three and then
four and five with with Cleveland, you can get a nice price on that. I think it's like seven to one
something. I got that. Yeah, I got it right here. It's plus seven hundred. So the raptors to win
what game three game three Cleveland wins the other four seven to one. Okay, that's a fun fun
way to take that. Yeah, I got all the fun games in front of me, Sean. Yeah, you want to get another
question? No, I'm always a sucker for that. I'm always a sucker for these first rounds. Cleveland
wins the game one Cleveland wins the series minus 230. Go discount there. Yeah, I think if you
like Cleveland, just lay the two and a half games. I'll take the I'll take the over five and a half.
I think I think raptors win one game at home and they steal one in Cleveland just because I don't
know, the Cleveland lacks a days of quality. If you call it if that's certainly that's not a word.
The lack of day. It sounded good. Yeah, the lack of days of quality that we saw last year. I don't
know if that's completely out of their system. And there's one guy who epitomizes that and that's
James Harden. So I think they blow one game at home and then the raptors get one in Toronto,
because Toronto's not an easy place to win, especially in the place. You also have it. I'll go over
I'll go over five and a half games. Yeah, would you prefer just to play Cleveland in six at plus four
25? Hmm. They would have to win game six in Toronto, but I don't think it goes to seven. So
yeah, I have six. I'll say, you know what, give me Cleveland and five plus 240. Okay, that's fine.
They call that gentleman sweep. There you go. I mean, Latte's making a lot of smart stuff.
And I realized I shouldn't just listen to what you're saying, Sean. That's not that's not
plus. No, Latte's more plus TV that may let's head out to Denver, Colorado where the nuggets are
taken on the Timberwolves. This game's at 12 30 PM on the West Coast. Nuggets laying six to 31 and a
half is the total. Let's start with Lonte this time. Lonte, what are we doing out here at elevation?
Yeah, man. I love Colorado. I mean, I do love Colorado. I love Denver in this spot, man. I think
that they got a lot of history with Minnesota. Minnesota is coming in like really injured,
like, especially with their two main guys, Anthony Edwards, Miss, I think 11 of the final 14.
He's got runners knee. That's the same injury that Steph Curry had and he missed about 20 something
gains with that. So I'm pretty sure he's not 100% JD Mac Danes is the same thing. He has a knee,
I think he had a knee issue as well. And I don't think this is the right spot to be going against
this Denver offense with Joker and Murray operating at a high level. Gobert already struggles with
with Joker. He averaged, Joker averaged 35, 15 and 11 against Gobert this year. And if you go back
to even more when they met in the playoffs, I mean, he pretty much dismantles them. I like Denver to
sit the tone in the first in the first game. I love the four. I'll have two units on the first quarter.
I think Denver comes out really strong. I think they come a really strong set the tone. I like
Denver to win this game. I'm laying the six in a half. I like the first quarter angle. Scott,
what do you make of this game one T Wolves nuggets? Yeah, I've been in time Minnesota all year as well.
I've just not been interested in them. Having said that, they have been good against Denver
historically speaking because at least they have some people that they can throw on to Joker.
He can't stop the guy, but at least you have Gobert. You have Nas Raid, you have some size and
length that Randall as well. A reminder that it was a really crazy series last time around.
They won the game seven on the road in Denver. They won the first two games in Denver. In fact,
the road team won five of the seven games in the entire series. So very, very weird script. We saw
the first time around having said that it's really tough to find value on Denver. And once you pick
them to absolutely bury Minnesota because minus one and a half games like minus 150, two and a half
games you could find available like I didn't know it was like two to one I think give or take.
But once again, you know, I see plus 150 as well in some spots. So it is a little bit tricky to
find a lot of value, but I think Minnesota can maybe actually sneak up and get them in game one.
Denver, we've seen struggled defensively all season. They let teams hang around all the time.
They're healthier now with Gordon. I know Peyton Watson's missed some time as well. I think Denver's
going to win the series. But if you wanted to go for a potential long shot play that I think has
some value, you can go with Minnesota to win game one and Denver to win the series at plus 525.
Okay. I think it's an interesting flyer based on the history here. I'm not really into Minnesota.
Then again, they made the conference finals each of the last two seasons. So I do think once again
that they've proven that they kind of rise up for the playoffs by looking at for the sake of the
series Peyton Watson, who have an impact. But as for game one, I didn't see an update. It was actually
going to play in this game or not. So we'll see what happens. But either way, I think it's an
interesting series that could go a bit of distance because Denver despite being powering a lot higher
than this other team defensively, they're still horrific. Like I still think they can drop a game
there because they don't get enough stops to late and maybe drops 35 in a game. And Minnesota steals
it. They're not going to be intimidated. They beat this team a couple of years ago in game seven in
Denver. So I don't mind Minnesota maybe sneaking up on them early. And then eventually Prem
rises to the top Denver's better. I know in the series and seven personally, but Minnesota won
game one. Denver won the series plus 525. I like James comment in the chat Joker and Murray
picking roll about to be like PB and J and a 17 point win. Yeah, I it's I see the concerns about
Denver and their defense, which has been lacking daisicle at times. I like the idea, though, a bunch
of rest leading into the playoff series here. But I good though because they won 12 in a row.
But yeah, he's mad about the rest. He didn't want to keep playing. That's also true. But I don't
know. I just I'm not going against Joker. I'll take him lay in the six, although I think I'm
going to do a deeper dive and maybe look at some props here as maybe the best way to play this
game. But I think that I'm with Scott. I like Denver in the series, but I think this also goes over
five and a half games. You can get that a minus 135. And I think definitely take over five and a half
minus 135 versus Nuggets minus one and a half because I do. Timberwolves are going to I think
Timberwolves get two of these games. So I think the over five and a half makes a ton of sense. But I
do like it'd probably be Denver and six. But Kramer, what are you doing here? I was just laughing
game one prime video, game two, peacock, game three, ABC, game four, no, game three prime video,
game four, ABC, uh, scheduling note. We know Joker likes his horses. If this goes to a game seven,
game seven is on Kentucky Derby Saturday. Oh, no. Uh, so it's a whole want to get it done early.
He'll want to get this one done early. I like Denver in the first game here. I'm going to lay it.
And I also looked into the local track to make sure there'd be no distractions. The only active
track in Colorado's in Aurora. It's the, uh, a raft for no. I'm mispronouncing that certainly.
Anyway, they don't open till late May. So he's got nothing on the mind, but basketball right now. So
we're all all nuggets. All nuggets here. Kramer any serious thoughts? Uh, I mean, I certainly,
I can, it worries me to say over five and a half because that means we could be bumping into a
Kentucky Derby Saturday. Oh, yeah. So I'll, I'll, I'll just, you know what I'll do. I'll, uh,
I'll go into one of these alt markets like Scott was and I'll just say, you know what? We'll
sit back to back. Oh, the nuggets in six does seem right. All right. You know what?
Nuggets in six plus four 50. There were what, what did you say? He's got the first four games
were one on the road two years ago when they played each other. Yes. The first four games were
one by the road team and game seven to yeah. Yeah. I'll switch mine to that as well. Nuggets in
six a plus four 50 feels like a good number. Lante. Uh, I don't think we got your series thoughts.
What do you think? How do you think this shakes out? Yeah. I think we're all aligned here with
with the nuggets in six. I will say this. This is kind of a little nerdy. Um, but I was reading about
this. It's a beat writer who covered, I don't, I forgot his name. So I apologize if he's listening.
Um, he was talking about Aaron Gordon and his importance of, you know, being available.
And he was saying that a lot of their defensive issues were because he wasn't on the floor
and that was by design because they're kind of saving him for these moments in the playoffs.
So if you look at their defensive metrics and the fourth quarter and when he's on the floor,
like it's totally night and day. And that's because he can do multiple things as far as
garden, the perimeter and defending the room. So I think that's going to be, that's not really
discounted in the price. So I can kind of see, you know, the nuggets coming out and winning this
in five because of the underestimation of the defense. And that's just because I don't really know
how healthy ant or jatomic games is. Like I know and, you know, kind of tough that out. But
if Aaron Gordon is going to be the type of defender that he has been in the playoffs,
he can give him some issues a less than 100% and a lot of issues. And so I'm binding that. So I
like nuggets and five nuggets and five. And what was the price on nuggets and five? I'm seeing
270. Okay. Yeah.
Kramer. What about next up? We got your new York. Well, yep. 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Nice way to start the afternoon on the left coast. If I'm not, I will see what's what's happened.
It could be traveling with some youth sports. Six, three match up. The Hawks and the Knicks,
Knicks lay in five, two, 16 and a half is the total in game one. I mean, Scott,
easy one for the next, right? I'll put it this way. I think a lot of people are picking at
Atlanta as their upset candidate for the first round. I think it's a little bit too public
for me. I like the Knicks in the series. I think the Knicks are a bad match up for Atlanta.
At Atlanta's fun because they got out of Treyong mid season. They were terrible. They ended up,
you know, trading port zing has got Kaminga and they wanted division. It's all good for them.
Great job. But they had a couple of games late in the season where I wasn't overly impressed by
how they played. They ended up splitting with Cleveland in the game. That Cleveland sat a couple
of their star players. They won by 30. They lost the other game before that to Cleveland.
I think Atlanta's good, but we saw the Knicks go into Atlanta and win that last meeting.
McCullough had that half court shot missed by about half a second. He didn't get it all
on time. But Alexander Walker gave them 36 points and they still lost the game at home.
I think the Knicks are a bad match up for them. In fact, the Knicks are still a great crunch time
team because of Jalen Brunson, of course. We know Kat can be very up and down, but match up
why? I think there's a good match up for Kat. You're looking at some updated injury news,
Jacqueline Dell, who is the backup center that they acquired at the trade. He is out for two weeks.
So you're looking at the actual front court depth that Atlanta has. It's kind of non-existent.
Jalen Johnson, I know that he's a power forward still, but he's not really going to be able to,
in my opinion, help out on the boards enough to deal with Mitchell Robinson. And Kat,
am I walking a double digit rebounds? I think that a conque was good. I think that Kat is a bad
match up for him. And you have gay off the bench as the backup center, but I think Mitchell Robinson
is going to wreck games off the bench. And I do like the Knicks have been here before at Atlanta.
I know McCallum's been here before. Alexander Walker, role player last year was here before.
Still a pretty young team, a pretty inexperienced team. I think the Knicks win the series pretty convincingly.
I have the Knicks in five. I think Atlanta wins a game there, but I think a lot of people have
started to power rank Atlanta a little bit too high. And I think the Knicks are better than them.
So I actually like as my favorite series play, the Knicks to win game one and the series at minus
one third. Yep. He's in my notes. And we actually have some footage of Kat getting ready for the
playoffs this year. That's stylish. This is the shout out to Cal State North, shout out to the
manager. I mean, he's he's got some electric. We got zest. The CSUN volleyball player who had viral
with just unlimited zest. The guys ball it out.
According to my one daughter who plays volleyball, there is a gay invasion of male volleyball.
Oh, look out. Yeah, because they're taking over the sport. They're dominating. Scott,
what are you doing in game one? Are you laying the five or you got a prop you like? What are you doing
in game one? Yeah, I think I am going to go with the Knicks. I thought about going from
it to Robinson props, but the books are well aware of his matchup because they're pretty expensive
for a bench player. But I really think he's going to come into the game and just wreck stuff on both
sides of the wall. Get to dominate the boards. I think I'll be able to once again dominate defensively
with ring protection. Alexander Walker has had a great season and all, but I do think if it's
going to be a close game, who's taking the final shot for Atlanta? Is it McCollum? Is it
Jalen Johnson? I don't know what you're really going to do. Layton Games, you know what the Knicks
are going to do. It's going to be Bronson who I think's going to have a solid overall series
with Kat as well. We saw last year that piston series was an absolute circus, but Detroit did
jump the Knicks early and then the MSG crowd said in the fourth quarter and they immediately gave
up like a 17 nothing run to start the fourth quarter and the game was over. I think the crowd
is going to play a pretty big impact in the first game. I'm on the Knicks, a Bingbong. I'll
think the Knicks by eight. Bingbong, very well done, Scott.
I don't know. Scott said Bingbong. If someone could isolate, if someone could clip the video on
that please and send it on in, that would be, that would be perfect. It's just very, I feel like
that's a versatile drop. Yeah, you use it for a lot. Latte, how about you? Do the, do the,
do the hawks have a shot now? I'm kind of with Scott in one sense of, I do think the hawks
ate and kind of went on this run post tray young. A lot of that, you look at like the teams
are repeating pretty soft schedule. Maybe they're too much of a public dog, but we've also seen some
down moments from the next season, especially on the road. And Josh Hart who normally can rely on
as a playoff dog. He's been up and down. Can we get a series out of him? Latte, how do you see
this shaking out? Yeah, you know what? You brought up a great point. And I think me and Scott
disagree with this on on our show. Yeah, I like the hawks. I think that it's going to be tough
and getting more. I think Quinn, I think Quinn has a clear coaching advantage. He's an offensive
wizard. So you're going to see a lot of things ran that he probably was holding back. He's got to,
if you listen around to coaches and all their different staffs who prepare for Quinn, they always
say this is like kind of the guy that they don't want to play against as far as his offense being
different, totally different from what he ran in a regular season. So it's tough for the scout.
And I do think this kind of mirrors, now obviously they don't have down of the Mitchell, but this
kind of mirrors the Utah Jazz teams that he had with their size on the on the interior. And I
think they can give New York some issues. The only issue with it is I agree with Scott. When it
comes down to the clutch, the next half, Jaylen Brunson and the hawks don't. Now that my come back
from that would be just don't let it get the crunch time and you won't have to worry about it.
And I think that the hawks with the veteran presence of CJ McCallum, you know,
Nikkei Alexander Walker has been there. I think all of these guys played their role. And ultimately,
I think that Dyson Daniels would be the X factor with his defense because he's going to be tasked
with Garden, Jaylen Brunson. And as long as he could stay out of foul trouble and force those other
guys, McCale Bridges, OG N and OB, he's going to have to force those guys to hit shots to beat him.
And if they do, fine, but I think this series is more of a coin flip. So I mean, I like the hawks,
but I'm going to do I like the hawks in the first game plus the five and half. I actually think
they can steal the game. So Kramer, I got one for you hawks win game one next win the series. That
should be a decent price. That actually that's kind of also the way the next role. Yeah, they
tend to drop one of these ones. I generally NBA playoff time is filled with disappointment.
Although, again, Jay, the Brunson situation is nice. All right. So you want a couple of rounds
lately though. Yeah. That's what I mean. It's what's getting better. But they're all this is Mike
Brown as a favorite in the playoffs. Again, I bring back carry bring back tips. So Nick
Swin game or sorry hawks win game one next win series is plus for 50. Oh, that's nice.
And you see, you know, right? We didn't put that put me down for that too.
A little little little little diabolical. Yeah, little diabolical. Okay. So then game one,
I'm putting you land a plus five. Yeah. Let's go. Yeah. I'll take the hawks to make it a game,
game one, but and for the series. Mix 25. Yeah, probably. But I do think there is a chance
that the hawks pull this out. And if the hawks pull this out, I don't think they're, if it gets
a seven, they're not winning a game seven in MSG that I'm confident in. But then winning the series
game six at home, Kramer, what is that price? The price is plus 650. Okay. I'll put a little
sprinkle on that because I think if they do get to game six with a chance to close it out,
they're going to be live. So I'll take hawks in six at plus six, 65 there. Oh, got another last
of the Saturday game and the Saturday series. Kramer, where are we at? Oh, so what a full day of
UFL and NBA playoff basketball. Lakers, rockets, we're in Los Angeles, 5 30 PM on the left
coast at the call it crypto. Now it turns out it's not staples anymore. Sean Lakers catching five
and a half points at home. What is this? 207 and a half is the total. I'll also worth noting
the rockets are laying two and a half games in the series. RIP LeBron, is this the year they put
them down for good Lante? Well, I think you'll be back next year, but this is not a good spot for
well, I will purpose this from a series price. It's like unbedded with with the rockets. Like,
I think that the way you want to go is the same way we did with the niche. You want to go
Lakers to win game one and you want to go with the rockets to win the game in the series. That's
a decent price because I think if it's any type of element of surprise, the Lakers have that on
their side being that they have literally, they're down their two or the three best players
and two of the best players in the NBA. So JJ is going to have to scheme up something
and it's hard to prepare for. Houston has not been good covering numbers, especially in this
range on the road. They typically play down to their competition at times, but this is a playoffs.
Kevin Durant obviously wanted the best playoff performers that we've seen, but I think
element of surprise is going to get the Houston rockets in this game. I like the Lakers on the
money line to win the game outright. Plus Durant, I assume be looking at the sideline and see what
people are saying about them checking the phone. So, so what do you and so then how do you see the
rest of the series shaking out? If they may be surprised in game one and then rockets end up in the
series. Yeah. Yeah, I think I think the rockets went four straight out to the Lakers went tomorrow.
I can't wait. And where are you at with the latest on Lucas? So I got injected with some
healing of treatments overseas that they brought back that maybe gets his hamstring in time.
Obviously, I'm considering him out for at least the first two games here at home. Lakers do have
the home court, which is crazy that they're a four to one dog. Obviously Reeves were not expecting
at all in the series, but maybe a little hope that Luca can come back at some point. Scott,
where are you at with the injuries and the series in general? Yeah. So mathematically speaking,
the first game is only 18 second game is going to be on the 21st. According to the latest injury
update for Luca, he's missing at least one more week that was posted on the 14th. So he should be
missing both home games to start the series for this one. So if you want to go for the Lakers,
you might want to consider waiting until accused and potentially wins both games or potentially
just betting using one game one Laker series. But for the sake of game one, I think it's actually a
must win game for use as crazy as that sounds because you have to maximize all the wins you can get
before reinforcements are on the way. And if Luca is actually going to come back in a week,
once again, that is the best case scenario. We'll see if he comes back in a shorter time frame.
Reeves once again, same story. He's also banged up, but I do think Houston with LeBron and
basically a Glee roster. I mean, this team's not very good. I mean, you have a lot of minutes for
the Andreate and Marcus Smart's got to play a bunch of minutes. Rui, Kenar, like they have some
role players, but the Rockets clearly are the much more talented roster, especially now at this
point in time. So I think it is a must win game for Houston because first of all, Houston, we know
the entire season have been choke artists. They blow every lead in the fourth floor. We saw last
year, even though Katie wasn't there, they did blow games seven at home, the Golden State in a
series. So I'd seen this team with Udoka under a chief in the postseason before. So I think they
really need to win game one. I'm on Houston in game one. I do think the Lakers can make this series
very competitive if Lucas back on schedule. If he's able to come back for game three, I know they'd
be down to home games, but watch out. I think this could be interesting. But for game one, I got to go
Houston. The Lakers are one of the least talented teams in the entire field for game one because
two of the best three players are injured. If you want to go for the Houston, avoid crunch time
angle, Houston first half because they'll get a lead. They might choke it again later, but that's not
your problem anymore. So I don't mind Houston first half and probably full game in this game. But
am I wrong? I think it's a must win game for Houston, maximizing your wins before Luka comes back.
Yes, I think you're right. But also you want to talk about bad vibes from Playoff teams. The
rockets are right up there with kind of the magic, just the dysfunction. You know, you bring
Durant in there, the leak text threads and stuff. And you see it in their ATS record as a
road favorite. They're 13 and 20. I get what you're saying, Scott, that they should think of
this game as a must win. But I don't know if I don't know if they got it in them. I'm with
Lanter. I think game one, Lakers are going to be live just because this is a, this is like the
Lakers are, hey, we got to do everything for one game. We got to win one home game because they
know they got to extend the series. If they win that first home game, I could see then Houston
smoking them game two. Then maybe they win game four in Houston. I just can't trust this Houston
team to dominate the Lakers. So I'll take the Lakers in the five and a half game one. And then
for the series, I'll take Lakers plus two and a half games with the idea. I also kind of like
what Scott said. If they do lose those first two games and we get at least rumors that Luka might
come back, I probably will take a small sprinkle on them because if it does extend to a game seven,
that will be at home. So I just, it's, it's less believing in this Lakers team, but just fading
a rocket team that shouldn't be this big of the favor. This Bronnie going to play the more minutes
Bronnie gets the one he's going to play. No, no, no, he's going to play. He's going to play
meaningful minutes. Give me the rockets. We're not. What are we doing here? Give me the rockets.
I like the first half, the first core. Play the wheel. Give me, give me all the ways you can play
the rockets. And a little bit about a little bit about Lucas choice to get some special treatment.
He went to Spain, which if you're wondering, that's where he played basketball. So that's why he
know that the, the head doctor for Real Madrid apparently is one of the top, whatever they call
the stem cell guy over in Spain. Now a lot of the NFL guys, they choose
Germany over Spain, Sean. So maybe we'll have to do a deep, maybe that's a more questions
than answers, but it does seem like while there's no public information about this,
Luca has used this treatment before. So
Mark has in the chat saying rockets minus nine and a half y'all tripping Bronnie versus
Aventon. You know what? That is a bet. That's not a matchup in their favor. Agreed, Mark.
I still personally don't think Bronnie's actually going to play, but I think that
Brett is saying that we'll see what happens, but the one point I will make though for the series,
I did pick Houston in five, if only to the NBA game podcast. If you are interested in gambling
on Luca's return date, and you think the Lakers are seriously live no matter what the series is,
once Luca and Ash or Reeves come back, you can get Houston to win game one and the Lakers to win
the series at 16 to one. If he wanted to go for that option, if you think Luca comes back
mid series and suddenly they got a chance, that's an option for you. You can get that at 16 to one.
And also like to just a little icing on the top of the cake, give me Houston minus 17 and a half
plus four 20 on the outline, please. So you're, I know that I know that Bronnie's playing my god.
And what for the series, what Houston minus two and a half games runner Houston sweep Houston
and five will do Houston minus two and a half. Okay. Although, yeah, probably a sweep, because once,
one, I mean, it's a, the reality is that Luke is going to not really come back because he's a
basketball player in this hamstring. I appreciate that he's going to get the treatment, but it just
doesn't seem like it's going to happen. I Houston and five two, but if you want to get creative
once again, that's a fun 16 to one dark girl. I like, I like your creativity, Scott. Appreciate your
darts. We're going to use your darts and Lante's darts to put together a little underdog entry.
That's right. Underdog pick them, love getting in on the pick of action. Can if you're not
signed up underdog, what are you waiting for? Underdog fantasy promo code SGN play five bucks.
You're 50 bucks in bonus funds. We got Friday. We got Saturday games, even a couple Sunday.
I got a 40% boost. Yes, we do have a 40% boost sitting for me. Scott, what's a,
what's a underdog pick him you like here for the weekend? Yeah, so I think for the, I'm trying
to give a, if I want to actually go from it to Robinson or not, you know what, I think I'll just
go for cat points. I'll pick cat. That was all game warm. Yeah, we saw you was warming up.
So Carl Anthony Towns higher 20 and a half points. Lante, what about you? What's a,
what's a play you like? Man, Sean, I think you hinted at something that we both were going to like,
I like con to have a big game. It's a good match. Yeah, I don't know if you want to go,
if you want to go with points, that's fine. I like his threes as well. So, you know,
dealish choice that you, man, you got, you got the ace, you can flip over whatever you want.
So I could take his point. So I could take his threes higher, whatever you decide.
Kramer, what would you rather two and a half three pointers made higher or 15 and a half points?
What's going to help his rookie of the year? It does seem like the, it does seem like the
three pointers is the more kind of, it's a chalkier choice for what it's worth. So should we go
points, then slightly less chalky? Yeah, but we got the boost too. So we don't care.
Yeah, let's go, we'll go, yeah, three threes for con Knipple higher, two and a half.
And we need, we need one more play here to round things out. Is it, is it too chalky to just go with
something Joker related that he has, I mean, his PR. One of my top ones, I like really
hatched more or higher points rebounds. I think he's going to have to play a pivotal role.
He's been unbelievable. Since those guys have went down, I think he's averaging close to 20,
he's shooting about 56% or 54% I'm sorry on pull up twos. They're going to, Houston's going to play
a lot of drop coverage with their bigs. So he should eat on the interior of that, of that defense.
So I like Ruiz points and rebounds. If you want to just go points, however you want to do it,
I'm fine with both. I played both already. All right, I like, I like how Sean was asking about
Joker and you switched to a completely different series. That's fine. That's very professional.
They're basically the same guy. Ruiz hatched more and, uh, no, his role is going to be big.
So I like this. Ruiz higher 18 and FPR a con higher, two and a half three pointers made and
cat the big cat himself two and a half points higher. $50 returns you three hundred and seventy five

Two seven matchups. We got Philly Boston, which I mean, talk about smashing two of the worst
fan bases together for a Sunday morning post mass. Uh, we're in Boston. Boston's laying a big
number 12 and a half to 13 and a half is the total latte. Um, Sean will not be upset if you pick
against the section. I will say this. I said this on our show earlier, uh, Sean, like if in
B was completely healthy and I noticed a humongous if and it's probably never going to happen again
as long as we do. But if he was healthy, I completely would pick Philly to be live in this series
because I think that they match up pretty well with what Boston does. I mean, they're going to
protect the three point line. Um, Maxi is a really hard player to stop. Now granted, they have multiple
defenders to do it, but I like the athleticism. Uh, VJ has been playing great as well. Um,
but obviously that's not the case. I'll keep your short and sweet sorry, Sean. I like Boston
in the sleep. Oh, no. Uh, uh, disser spec. Wow. Wow. What about to game one 12 and a half is a
pretty big spread for one playoff basketball. Yeah, it is, but I think that I think that Boston
is going to come out with a bit of vengeance, man. I think that since Taylor has been back,
he's got the rust off. Um, they've been off for, I think like more than a week, uh, since they had
everything wrapped up, I think they had to come out guns blazing. We saw Philly, you know,
they had, they weren't in complete control of that game. I guess Orlando went to late,
and I don't really like how I mean, Orlando had plenty of open looks. They just couldn't hit
them. And if you give Boston that many looks, they're going to probably bury you. So give me Boston.
I like Boston's team total over more than anything, uh, on the card on Sunday, to be honest.
Uh, the sweep, by the way, Sean is a plus 185. And the, and the, uh, and the, the, the team total,
uh, why don't I not see a team total on, uh, I don't think. Let's see.
Well, the spreads to the, the, the totals to 13 and a half, it might be a little bit lower,
even if they are late in 13. Yeah. Oh, I forgot what I, I need to see what I did. It's probably,
it probably is sitting around what, 112, something like that. Uh, Scott, what about you?
You're a smart man. Sharp, sharp, handy capper. You know a good scrappy team from Philadelphia is
not going to go down as an underdog. Sorry. I'll give props to Philly for one thing. They work
to and to the season against Boston. So at least they can play in someone close. In fact,
the first three games were all decided by less than three points. Having said that, I think Boston
bearism, uh, I think it's going to be a lot of serious if I'm being honest here. See, the silver
lining or things, Sean and I can get along here is that we both picked Philly to beat Orlando.
Yeah. But I said specifically in the last episode, I think whichever team wins this game gets
buried by Boston in the first round anyway. I think they got no chance. On the fact is,
M.B. It has the appendectomy. Will he play any games in the series? I have no idea.
He's barely played all season for being honest here. So I don't even know what the minutes
counts going to be. We'll see. But Boston is so much depth. I don't think Philly has that. Philly
had themselves a solid all around team win against Orlando, you know, who branched some threes,
drum and hit the dagger in the corner, which is hilarious to think about. Bono was great defensively.
Max. He knows very good. But you're looking at the overall game and how it played out.
I thought both teams looked bad. Both teams couldn't have shot for about a full quarter there in
the second half. And we picked Philly to beat Orlando because Orlando is a complete lost cause
that I was going to blindly fade regardless. So I'm not going to suddenly overreact to Philly winning
a game because they were beating up on a team that was once again arguably quitting on the entire
season and their head coach. I think Boston's out for blood. I think after last season,
they even let Orlando hang around a bit in that first run series last year. It was a pretty bad
look. I think there's a chip on their shoulder. I don't want to bring up some PTSD for Sean, but we've
seen Boston kind of own the six years in the playoffs recently in multiple playoffs series.
I see a pretty similar story here. I think Boston's on a couple of different tiers than Philly.
Their only hope is if Maxi drops like 40 in a game and he just carries them to one.
So maybe Boston in five, but I think that there are some brooms coming out personally. I got Boston
in four. I agree with you Scott that the brooms are going to be out for the Philadelphia 76ers to
sweep the Celtics. It's even tough to say that with the straight face. So Scott, are you doing
anything game one? Game one, I think Boston wins by like 15 to 20. It's really tough because there are
some teams that are top scenes like Denver in years past where they have no bench at all.
So you figure, okay, there's some foul trouble here or some foul trouble there.
Maybe you can find a way to steal a game. Boston, we saw their G-Lake team beat Orlando and Orlando
just gave Philly a hard time in the playing game. So I just think that Boston's going to bury this
team in pretty much almost every game. I got Boston winning game one by probably 20 if I had to go
first one. Okay, I will not take that. I will take, I love a lot of what the guys were saying.
I will take the sixers game one plus 12 and a half and yeah, there's enough fight and enough
complacency on the other side. Give me, give me Philly, give me the sixers plus two and a half games.
I won't, I won't say they're going to win it all, but sixers plus two and a half games and Philly
plus 12 and a half. And the play I do like is Maxi over 26 and a half points game one that I feel
like his shot was kind of off. And I feel that this Celtics, I think they're probably fine with
Maxi getting his to some degree. And I think the volume is going to be there for him as well.
And I project he's going to be a little more efficient. So Maxi gets a 27 game one Philly
covers a 12 and a half and they win two games somehow. Kramer, what are you doing?
Two games. That's what you're going with. At least probably. Okay, probably four.
Probably four. Probably give or take. Yeah. All right. So I love the team total one 13 and a half
by the way. Okay. I'll join Lonte on that. The sweep is I always have a nice sweep every year.
That's that's the play. And then I saw some people throwing out all numbers.
Now I'm going to save my all number play for when in bead play. Is there a chance in
bead plays a game in the series? I think it is. Yeah. Okay. That's the game. We're going to
alt line the Celtics because he will he will officially crater the team when he comes out on the
court for his triumphant return. How dare you right? Oh, it's fine. It's fine. I mean, it's not
the six. It's not the sixers year. It's not three year. All right. Last game. Last series plays
are spurs. You know, another spurs in the soccer world is dangerously close to getting relegated.
Hi, hi, comedy six PM on Sunday night. We're in San Antonio, which Charles Barkley has
said inflammatory things about the women there before. And I feel like there's not there's
clearly like the the amount of backlash makes you understand that he's 100% correct.
Spurs lay in 10 and a half to 22 and a half the total. And another one where the spurs are
heavily favored to lay the two and a half games in the series. So uh, Scott spurs by a million,
right? Yeah, I want to point out so far in the wake or season, the spurs did go two and one.
They won the last meeting by 11 without a Wembee or castle. So the bench unit won a pretty
important game for Portland and they won that game by 11 anyway at home. I'm not sure Portland wins
a game in the series. I know San Antonio has been inexperienced with some of the supporting casts
and Wembee, of course, but look, I've had a monster game against Phoenix at 40 plus points.
It was a masterclass. The problem is I don't know how they're going to score against the spurs
defense because Portland offensively was underwhelming all season. I believe they ranked in the 20s
and offensive efficiency and now Wembee is going to be patrolling the middle of the not a great
outside shooter. He mainly attacks the basket. Have fun trying to make layups over Wembee for
seven games. Like I just don't see the actual path here. I know Jeremy Graham made some threes
in the back end against Phoenix, some big threes, a drawer holiday can maybe hit some shots,
sharp get it some shots maybe, but I think San Antonio is too deep. I think San Antonio is
Wembee is probably going to finish third an MVP voting, unanimous defense player of the year.
He might average like four blocks per game in the series. He could get disgusting. The defensive
number is he's going to put up in this one. Fox, we know as a solid overall point guard,
castles very good as well. Kelvin Johnson might win six man of the year. They have a lot of depth.
Even like Cornet off the bench is a solid backup center. I think there's a serious talent gap
here. And for Portland who likes to attack the basket, who does not have a great offense,
San Antonio is probably the worst matchup he can have because Wembee can single handedly
sabotage your entire offense, which was not very good to begin with. I think there are multiple
games in this series where Portland scores less than 100 points. I think San Antonio is sweet.
I get San Antonio one for yeah. Sean put me down for the trailblazers team total under 105 and a half.
Oh, okay. I was just paying attention to Professor Scott sounded like the right thing to do.
And if you want to get crazy and play the wheel game one spurs first quarter spurs first half
successful game, spurs just put it on these teams. And if they get off to a hot start,
it could be a, it could be a blood bath. I'm with Scott. I, they're just this,
this team is playing at a dominant level. And maybe their playoff inexperience gets to them
when they play someone like, okay, see Denver, but they're just going to destroy a team like
Portland who it's got laid it out. Like they, some outlier performances against Phoenix who
kind of shit to bed themselves there in a lot of ways. So I think, I think spurs get
out to a hot start game one. I think they just keep rolling. I don't, you know, lay the 10-and-aft
game one spurs and four. Lantec, can you make a case here for Portland at all?
Yeah, you know, I like Portland. Okay. I like the match reform too. I mean, they're back,
they got their guys back, shading charts back, scoops back, Jeremy Grants back. I think they
can make this a really uncomfortable series for the spurs. They just have to knock down shots.
Scott laid it out like they have to be able to knock down shots. I'm fine with them not scoring
over, you know, 105 or whatever the case may be because that's how they're going to, that's how
they need to win. They need to win a slug face. And I think that, I mean, obviously, it's a
homecoming for Thiago Slitter who probably nobody, nobody would be able to name him as the Portland
hit coach. If you asked about 20 to 40 people who watched basketball, they wouldn't be able to tell
you Thiago Slitter is the coach. He's not afraid against the game. You think Sean C gets access
to the game? Maybe wherever he is. He's on the spurs and four by John C. Belfz.
But I mean, I think the leadership of Drew Holiday is being undervalued. I think that his
ability to guard the ball to take away some of the things that they want to do. I think they're
going to try force Wimby to shoot jump shots, which is where he's, I mean, he's still Wimby's Wimby,
but I would prefer him. And I'm pretty sure other teams would prefer him on the perimeter,
then driving to the rim or playing in between the midrange. And one thing Portland has is elite
size. They have about three seven footers. They got a big front line. Obvious, pretty big.
Jamie Grant's big. They have a elite front line physical. And if they can knock down some shots,
I think they can make this series really, really uncomfortable for the spurs. I don't think they'll
win it. But I think this can be a competitive five game series, five to six game series. So give me
Portland plus 10 and a half in the game. And give me Portland plus two and a half games.
All right. Like a contrarian play here. Kramer. So what was your series play? Did you have an
official? Well, the little conflicting opinions here between the, I know. I know. I don't know
very confused at what to do. It does seem like the, you mentioned that they will get humbled in
any following series. Like we always see the step up, you get to the playoffs, you win your
series, then you face the timber wolves or the nuggets, two teams that have been there before.
So yeah, let's, let's do spurs with a little spurs and five spurs and five. So they,
they trip up one game. We'll play the spurs in five. Portland, Portland is a tough, tough
venue. It's two to one. They'll be, they'll be lit. I was just in Oregon. I can confirm there
are zombies on the ground there. So it is a unique place. All right. Time for a, let's do two
locks and a dog. So give me a game lock, a series lock and a money line dog that money line,
the plus money can be anything. Well, I just want to give, I want to, I want Scott's brain to go,
you know, go full, see the board completely plus, any plus money for the dog, but one game,
one series, why don't we start with the NBA inside of Ryan Kramer, one game, one series,
and a plus money price. I mean, imagine it for a scene. He was in the NBA. Oh my god.
A lot of opportunities. Oh, hello. Lock number one. Let's see here. What did we like the most?
We liked, oh, yeah, Bronnie's playing. Give me Houston minus five and a half. Okay.
Then we want a series lock. Yep. Let's see. I like that. I like that landing. Now, you know what?
Nuggets in six. Nuggets in six or 50 like that. And then for the dog, let's just go back to
the Houston game Houston lay in 17 and a half plus 420. It's going to be people are going to be
very angry with me when it wins. All right. Let's see. Game lock number one.
Man, it is the next game that's happening, but this magic team is trash. Give me the hornets minus
three and a half for my series lock. I'll say while you're thinking Louis Louisville Kings 10
Houston gamblers three. I'm watching the live updates, Ryan. Shout out to your Louisville draft
Kings for my lock for the series. I'll say it landed six is pretty fun, but that's more of a
like a. Yeah, I'll just do I'll do Denver. You know what? I'll do nuggets over five and a half
games in that series. No, because they might win five one. What am I thinking here? I'll go 13,
three Kings. Feel gold converted. I'll go. Yeah, I'll go spurs minus two and a half games.
You're really having it on. Oh, yeah. Well, no, that's minus 210. No one wants this. I'm just
trying to get people. Oh, my goodness. Okay, say that for the dog club. You're gonna, yeah,
Atlanta. Come on. They're going to destroy you for this one. Atlanta in six, a plus 665.
Fuck the nicks. And it land a money line game one latte. The nicks are not your enemy show.
Yeah, they are. Next loser will be is my is me winning latte. What do you got? What do you have for
for the lock? Let me get minus eight and a half for Cleveland. I think Cleveland's going to
destroy Toronto. That's that's one of my favorite ones. Okay. On the car for the weekend. For the dog,
give me Laker's side creamer. I think the Laker is going to come out win the game.
And we're going to go with the with the series dog. Let's go with Laker's win the Laker's win
game one and Houston wins a series. That's like seven. Oh, that's a fun Laker's game one Houston
series plus seven hundred. Scott, what do you got cooking up over there? All right. So for the
game lock, I think I'm actually going to lay it. Give I was torn between trailblazers team total
under and spurs minus 10 and a half. I think seven tone is going to win this game comfortably.
I'll go San Antonio minus 10 and a half. Fun facts first when two and one against Portland
this season. Portland scored less than 103 and two of the three games when we played in zero of
the three games. Yeah. And San Antonio is still one of my double digits and two of them.
The last time when we played against Portland, get 10 blocks. So once again, I don't think
Portland's going to do much offensively in this game. Give me San Antonio minus 10 and a half
as my game lock. For my series lock, give me the next to win game one and the series at minus 130.
I like the price. I think when when Dell's being out, it's actually a big deal because they have
really no backup centers at all. Give me the next to win game one and the series minus 130.
For my game dog, give me rockets first half minus five and a half at plus one point. Alternate,
so wait, rockets minus five and a half in the first half. I'll ignore all the choke jobs late.
Just give me a good start to the game. We'll go from there. I liked it. Nice juicy price.
