This interview analyzes escalating geopolitical tensions in West Asia and Eurasia. It highlights Iran's shift to direct ballistic missile attacks on US warships, ending "proportional response" amid US port blockades. Despite US claims, regional coordination keeps oil flowing through the Strait of Hormuz. The discussion explores the recent SCO Summit, where members condemned US-Israeli actions, marking a shift in global alliances. Furthermore, the emerging "Mecca Defense Alliance" (Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan) reflects a growing desire for regional security autonomy, reducing reliance on the US and countering Israeli leverage. Meanwhile, US attempts to pivot to the Ukraine conflict for domestic political gains face Russia's unwavering demand for a new European security architecture. A deep dive into declining US dominance and multipolar cooperation.

That's the science of wow Colgate Optic White. Hi everybody. Today is Sunday September 6, 2026, and I'm here to talk about what's going on in the West Asia and in Eurasia between Russia and Ukraine because it's all connected. And the reason that I'm saying this is because of the new, recently we know that what's going on in the United States, the popularity of Donald Trump and his administration with the case of these two wars in the, basically, in the West Asia and the war in Ukraine. The new article in

the Financial Times points out that the approval rating of Donald Trump is a record low of 33%. So as you know, today, yesterday we had Steve Whitcock and Judd Kushner going to Russia talking with the Russian government, talking with Vladimir Putin. And today, they're in Ukraine. That's part of the picture of what's going on with Donald Trump's foreign policy because there's two fronts right now, one in Ukraine, the other one in the West Asia. Donald Trump has came to some sort of understanding that his war in the West Asia is not going to end anytime soon. So he needs something else in it's some sort of move in Ukraine. Maybe he can get something in Ukraine. That's why you see the head of CIA going to Russia talking with Russians, talking with, you know, in the intelligence, the head of intelligence in Russia. And then you see Judd Kushner and Steve

Whitcock going there. It's all about domestic policy in the United States. It's all about how the United States don't Trump is trying to get some points to brag about, to sell those points to American people that he's doing great in Ukraine, the war in the West Asia somehow he has reduced the consequences of the war by controlling the straight-off or most. That's the rhetoric he's trying to talk, he's trying to, you know, put out the case of when you put both case together, I think basically with the case of the West Asia, it's somehow the escalation is happening. And it's little by little, but it's going to be huge. All of a sudden you may see, you know, a huge attack on aircraft carriers and, you know, destroyers or they call it destroyers. They call

this warships of the United States that they're using to implement the blockade on Iranian ports. Yesterday we've learned for the first time that Iran is attacking, you know, they literally started attacking US aircraft carrier, if I'm not mistaken, with George Washington. And the destroyers were attacked as well. This is an official statement of IRGC. They came out and said we targeted these two and at least two of the warships and one aircraft carrier was attacked by the use of ballistic missiles. So the use of ballistic missiles is so tricky because many people thought if Iran would attack, if Iran attacks the US, you know, these warships and these destroyers and aircraft carriers, it would be the use of the cruise missiles or anti-ship missiles. But that was in the case. It seems that Iran has changed its mind and basically focusing on the trade of almost using anti-ship

missiles in the trade of almost and in the Persian Gulf. And the mission to attack American blockade, to attack American, you know, the aircraft carrier is in the Arabian Sea, in the Gulf of Oman, they're going to use the ballistic missiles. They haven't used, we had the limited use of the drones as well, but a combination of both would be devastating for the blockade. This is the initial moment that you have seen yesterday. This is the new move on the part of the Iranian government because it was mentioned by the head of Iranian national security, Supreme National Security Council and the head of Iranian parliament. They said the head of Iranian parliament just today said that the error of proportional response is over and they have shown that. They have proven that with the new attacks, with the last round of the attacks on Iranian lorac island, as Donald Trump said, the Iran is using the lorac island to mine the trade of almost. That's why the United States attacked Iran.

Then you see Iranian attacks on Jordan and other countries in quid. Just moments ago, the satellites photos came out showing how Iran precisely hit the targets in Jordan and in quid. I think we are heading toward huge escalations in the trade of almost. That's why you see Donald Trump is trying to move to Ukraine. He wants to distract us from what's going on in the West Asia, but repercussions of what's going on in the West Asia are so huge when it comes to the oil market. Even with that, the new article today came out in New York Times. It says 6.5 million barrels are getting out of the trade of almost by the assistance of the United States. We had the same numbers from the Iranian sites. They said 5 to 6 million, 5 to 7 million barrels

are getting out of the trade of almost because of Iran cooperating with some of these governments in the region and some of these governments outside of the region, basically China and other friendly countries with Iran. On the part of Iranians, all these barrels, basically most of these barrels are going to the friendly countries and coordinated with Iranians. On the part of the United States, the Trump administration says, no, we are doing this without cooperation. All of these barrels are getting out because of the United States' patrolling or helping assist in the passage of these barrels or these tankers. When it comes to these barrels that are getting out of the trade of almost, they're using small ships in the southern part of the trade. I'm talking about those that the United States is trying to facilitate. That's not that much.

When it comes to the, I would say, less than 1 million barrels, that could be one, one and a half, something like that. The rest is some sort of cooperation with Iranians. Tankers can get through or pass through the trade of almost with coordination with Iranians and refueling or taking these barrels and getting out of the trade of almost. The two sides, Iranians side, they're telling us the truth. The Trump side as well, they're part of they're doing some, they're bringing or they're helping some sort of, they're helping the passage of the barrels. I mean, one million or something like that with the assistance of the United States. The two sides have their own arguments, but the importance is if Iran decides to stop that, it's going to be immediate, but it seems behind the scene there are some sort of agreements

between Iran and I would say certain countries that they let that those barrels getting out of the trade of almost. But the importance is, is that going to influence the oil market? Is that going to, no, you don't see the sign, the positive sign, the oil market. Even with the manipulation, they said 17 barrels of oil is getting out of the trade of almost in the recent reports. On the part of the sand comp said that Donald Trump and his administration were talking about 14 million barrels a day, 17 million barrels a day, that's not the reality. These are five, six, seven million barrels. So we know that and Iran is big, is huge chunk of those barrels under the control of Iran inside. Let's put it this way. I'm not just mentioning the numbers, you know, one, one and a half, or let's put that aside. The majority and 70, 80% of the oil that is getting

out is under the control of Iran. So this is part of the issue. The other point that is Iran, you know, as the head of Iran and parliament was talking about is the case of the blockade. Yesterday, we had the United States attacking three tankers in the straight of four moves, in the Persian Gulf. Coming out of this trade close to the Gulf of Oman, they attacked three tankers, then you see Iran responding to that, not only responding to that, attacking American aircraft carrier and warships. This is what the head of Iran and parliament is talking about, this proportional response. And this is the escalation that is happening in the West Asia. I think is getting totally out of the control of the Trump administration if Iran decides at some moment to hit these targets. There is no capability in, you know, with the, oh, we cannot say no capability,

they have the capabilities to defend themselves, they have the, you know, the air defense systems, but these air defense systems are incapable to intercept ballistic missiles. If Iran tries to saturate the air defense system of these aircraft carriers or these destroyers, the destroyers they're basically not that much powerful to defend themselves. And that's going to end the blockade, that's going to bring huge escalations between the two sides. And the question is how far the United States is prepared to go at this particular moment. It doesn't seem that the Trump administration is willing to escalate. It has been shown by the Iranian attacks, you know, at least three or four Iranian attacks were not, have not been responded by the United States. And it shows that Donald Trump doesn't want that. He doesn't want, before the Middle of the election, let's put it this way,

before the Middle of the election, there is no sign that Donald Trump wants to escalate. But the problem for Donald Trump is the Iranians want to escalate. Iranians want to escalate because of this blockade under ports. They don't want the blockade to be there. And they have the capabilities to hit American weapons in the region. And I'm talking about the warships and the aircraft carrier. And they don't need to sink them. They can hit them. They can hit the way that they're not, they're becoming useless. I'm talking about the aircraft carriers. If you hit the runway of those aircraft carriers, it means nothing. You know, there is nothing there, you know, the basic, the concept of these aircraft carriers is not only having the forces in the region, but also the runway is on these aircraft carriers. They're have been used or are used to, to, you know, to use the fighter jets going to the straight-off or most, patrolling the straight-off

or most, refueling tankers or they're in the straight-off or most as we talk. Because they're nice, they're trying to control the sudden corridor of the straight-off or most close to the Omani border. This is, if Iran decides to do that, they can do it. And we've seen the precision of the Iranian ballistic missiles. And they have short-range missiles. They have mid-range and long-range missiles. They have all these varieties of missiles. They have drones. There's no drones in the Iranian arsenal that they haven't used it so far. And we don't know the capabilities of these drones. Some of them are updated, Shahed 136, or some of them are totally different. The new system is on the German. They're much more capable of hitting the target, but they haven't shown those drones so far. Getting back to the other important point politically for Donald Trump is what

has happened in the SEO summit. In the SEO summit, you see China, Russia, India, Pakistan, Iran. We had Turkey go in their cooperating or participating in the SEO summit. And they had a joint statement in which they mentioned both the war and Iran American Israeli attack on Iran was condemned. And it was signed by India. India was somehow trying to stay side, not that much involved in what's going on in the West Asia. Because the whole concept of India is to get closer to Israeli point of view in the West Asia. Because they see themselves if they get closer to the Israel. They're going to be the good boy in the region in the eyes of the United States. Because Pakistan has a good relationship with the United States. But the United States knows the

position of Pakistan and Turkey when it comes to Israel. They're realistic. They know that the Pakistan is don't like Israel. Turkish government doesn't like Benjamin Netneil and the government in Israel. This is the reality of what Donald Trump is dealing with in the West Asia. But the case of India is totally different. India is trying to say that I don't have a ball. You know, I don't have anything. I don't have a dog in this fight. So I, but when they sign that joint statement condemning American Israeli attack, it's a sign for Washington that everything is not under the control in Washington. And little by little, they're losing the control in the West Asia. It's too difficult for them to accept that. For Donald Trump himself because he wants to see everything under the control. But the war in Iran

has opened something new for Washington for Donald Trump himself that little by little he's losing the control not only on on particular countries. Basically, I'm talking about Pakistan, Turkey, not controlling because there was some sort of mutual understanding between the two countries in the region. It was formed for such a long time. It's not, it wasn't something new created by Donald Trump or Joe Biden. You know, the whole concept of the, you know, the reality of the relationship between the United States and Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, GCC countries all together was created since, you know, it's been a decades that the United States has created that sort of, you know, partnership or relationship with these countries. Those days are over. And this is the SEO summit shows that even India signed that.

Let's assume that the India signature was some sort of political move. Let's put it this way. But after all, it's important when India comes out and signed, you know, that agreement. It means that in the default, the atmosphere of the SEO summit, the atmosphere wanted that and the assigned that. It wasn't just about only Iran. It's about all countries participating in the SEO summit. So India has decided to sign it. The other point was the sanctions on Russia and Iran, which was mentioned at the SEO summit. The United States is so addicted to the sanctions that it gets to a moment that in my opinion that these sanctions are helping is mostly the day, if we talk today, they're basically hurting the US economy. They're not helping the United States at all. That doesn't mean that they're not putting pressure on Russia and Iran. No, they're putting

by these sanctions, they're putting a lot of pressure on the economies of these two countries. Iran and Russia, but putting that aside, it doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt the United States. I think strategically and in a long run, this is a devastating influence on the United States on the US economy. So the Trump administration didn't appreciate that so far. Donald Trump himself was talking about it before being elected in the United States. He wants something new. He wants a new regime or new attitude. But we haven't seen that with the Trump administration, it was all about, you know, basically, life to all to American people, to all of us. We thought that he's going to do something different that didn't happen. And today he's moving to Russia, sending still

Whitcuff and Jert Kushner to Russia to talk with the Russian president. What does that mean? It means that the policy Donald Trump knows that in the West Asia, he's not willing to get back to negotiations with Iranians. He sent a seem-muneer to talk with Iranians before they attack on Lodak Island, the latest attack on Lodak Island. He sent a seem-muneer, you know, the head of army in Pakistan to Iran, talking with Iran officials to find some sort of solution. They were talking about modifying or changing some articles of that MOU. Iran said no. And you can get back to the MOU and we have, we can change them. But it's not going to be softer. It's going to be tougher. And for the United States to accept them. So the whole meeting between it, if you remember, Iran said that was productive. Productive in what sense? Because the talks between Iran and Pakistan,

those talks were productive. With the case of the United States, it seems that Donald Trump told them he's ready to do something. He's ready to modify. Even Iran, if Iran wants to modify some some parts of the MOU, the United States wants the same way to modify some parts. But the attack on Lodak Island demolished everything. And the seem-muneer came out, the guy is playing with me. Basically, the guy, I mean Donald Trump. Because he was begging him to go to Iran to talk with Iran officials. Then he decided to attack. He basically sabotaged everything. It wasn't just a seem-muneer. It was the battery government going to Iran. The prime minister of Qatar went to Iran. But this is the decision in Washington. The attack on Iran demolished. And you know, whatever what was happening with the two talks. You know, Pakistan is going to Iran. Battery officials going to Iran, putting that aside.

Today, Donald Trump sees himself in a conflict, in a continuous conflict in the West Asia, in which he has tremendous difficulties. One of them is the supply line. The supply line has been hugely damaged during the war with the attacks on Bahrain, with the attacks on Qatar, attacks on Kuwait, attacks on Saudi Arabia. That's why you see everything, the United States moved everything to Jordan. And the option for the United States is going to be Bulgaria. Because recently they were talking about Bulgaria using Bulgaria to attack Iran. And the other point is Diego Garcia, which is 4,000 kilometers away from the Persian Gulf. You know, going there and getting back, Bulgaria is so risky. Because Iran said, if they do that, they're going to respond. It doesn't matter which country is doing this. They're going to retaliate. And it depends on how deep this country is going to

get involved in the calm I'm talking about Bulgaria. Putting that aside, the problem for Donald Trump today, today because of the because of the midterm election is domestic. He wants something. He wants something that would work for him for a Republican party in the United States. That's the case of Ukraine. This new move that is happening, he doesn't understand that since January 2025, he said he wants to put an end to the war in 24 hours. What has avoided Donald Trump since then? First of all, Europe convinced Donald Trump that this fight is going to be all on the shoulders of Europeans. They're going to pay for that. They're going to buy the weapons from the United States. And Donald Trump, despite bragging about how good the relationship is between himself and

Vladimir Putin, didn't do that much because he was convinced by the people, those people who are supporting the war in Ukraine in the United States and Europeans that he needs to not support in Ukraine militarily, economically of that because most of these weapons that are getting to Ukraine, basically Europe is paying for that, those weapons. The intelligence, he continued supporting Ukraine with the case of the intelligence. Today he's asking Russia two points with the case of Russia, one point. He can do something with the case of Ukraine and sell that to the American people. I'm doing something. I'm bringing the war in Ukraine to the other point he can put pressure on Iran because he may, he may tell Russian, Russians that if you do this, if I help you in Ukraine, you may help us with the case of Iran.

But the problem for Donald Trump is that Russia and Iran, they have just moved and this is not the point anymore between Iran and Russia. The partnership, the relationship is so deep between the two countries. And today we do attacks that are happening every day attacks and Iranian respond with the ballistic missiles every around with the capabilities of the drone and the air defense system in Israel. They don't need each other each and every day to help each other. They're basically most parts of the relationship between Iran and Russia when it comes to the maybe to the case of intelligence, to the case of, you know, when it comes to wheat and these sort of products seed oil or something of that sort happening between the two sides because right now we the case of blockade Iran may need that from Russia. And this is part of what's going

on. Is Russia going to sacrifice that for the case of Donald Trump going to Ukraine trying to do something for Russia or trying to help Russia with the case of Ukraine? First of all, the case of Ukraine is so complicated. Europeans are doubling down. Look at what Germany is talking about. The drones today, you know, we've learned, Chancellor of Germany saying that Russia sent this drone, you know, they wanted to hit, they wanted to, but the the bombs on this drone didn't work. If they worked, it was devastating, you know, it could have been devastating for Germany. And Russia says, it wasn't us. It wasn't Russia attacking Germany. But it doesn't matter what Russia is talking about. The perception was created by the politicians in Europe, German, British, French. And I would say some

other countries, even Italian. You don't see that much from the Italy, from Maloney. But putting that aside, I'm just going to zoom out a little bit to see the picture. One part in is Ukraine that Donald Trump is trying to say that I'm going to do something. I'm going to do something important. I don't see Donald Trump incapable of doing because Russia knows just look at the tone of the Russian president yesterday. They were asking for three days ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. Ukrainians were asking for that because of this trip of Syrup, Wethkopf and Jerkushk, and Russia said no. And they're going to manage that the way, you know, they're going to provide the safety to Wethkopf and Kushner, but they're not going to go beyond that. So there is no, my understanding, the Russian president knows that Donald Trump would not be able to end the conflict in Ukraine.

That's why the long-term strategy of Russia would be pressuring the Ukrainian economy, pressuring militarily and economically, to the point that Ukraine would not be able to continue. And those days are coming. It doesn't matter how Europe is doubling down and trying to help Ukraine. That's not going to change the reality of Ukraine, of the economy, of their army, they're using drones, they're providing Ukraine with drones. That's part of, you know, one of the could be a major issue for Russia, but that's not decisive when it comes to the war in Ukraine. It's a tactical game. It was a tactical game for Europe, you know, replacing the, you know, the manpower of Ukraine with drones. So today, even today we had a drone attack in

Russia, Ukrainian drone attack on Russia, having Whitkov, Steve Whitkov and George Kushner there in Ukraine. Zelensky says he's ready to talk with Russians and he's ready, he's ready to, but Russia doesn't want to talk with Zelensky. The issue for Russia is the security architecture. The issue for Russia is the whole Europe. They want to have, they want to create a new security architecture. I don't see that changing. The objectives of Russia in Ukraine is digitalization and denotification, but the major objective, the main objective of Russia in the region is the new security architecture in which NATO should be, you know, should be addressed. It means that NATO is not going to move again toward Russia, bring new weapons closer to the Russian borders, and the new understanding between Russia and Europe. The reason I'm mentioning this, I want to,

I want to, you know, describe the complexity of the issue in Ukraine and how Donald Trump is so superficial. He's so superficial. The ocean, he's in a little boat on an ocean and he doesn't know what is underneath that boat. And he knows how deep are those problems in Ukraine. He thinks that by making some sort of deal or convincing Zelensky, you remember how the things, you know, the new deal between the United States and Zelensky with the minerals in Ukraine. And we had all these episodes before. But this is not the case. This is not the problem. The major issue is something else, as I've mentioned, the security architecture in the West in Eurasia or in between Russia and Europe. That's the major issue, which is mostly focused on NATO. Coming to the West Asia, basically the

question and the problem is becoming the same. Iran is trying to define a new security architecture in the region under which no country would be able or would be used against Iran. All the GCC countries during the war were used by the United States to attack Iran. Iran wants to change that that reality that existed before the war started. Today Iran neutralized New York most of the American bases in the region. That's why you see they're coming to attack. They're attacking the aircraft carriers. They're attacking destroyers because nothing is left in Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia. They have some facilities. They have some weapons and

they have refueling tankers in the region. They have some fighter jets but they're not using them. That's why Iran is not attacking these countries, GCC countries. Most of these weapons and equipment are in Jordan and Israel. The other point that is boiling at the same time, parallel to what's going on between Iran and the United States is the case of Yemen. Saudi Arabia is trying to control Yemen by using this PLO as if I'm not mistaken. This group so the back Yemenis, let's put it this way, they're just losing big and Ansarla is just hitting them right and left and they're advancing toward them. They're basically forcing them out or forcing them to capitulate. And just moments ago before coming to this live there is a new footage showing how precisely

Ansarla is hitting some targets and some targets inside Yemen, in those areas controlled by this pro-Sodhi forces. Here is the footage. Here you see the missile in fire. And what's amazing for me is that they're filming at the same time that they're hitting the target, they're filming that using a drone there. It shows just look at this attack, this,

or how precisely they hit the target. There were three pickups in that area and they hit all all the way down where they missile. So this is what's going on with the case of Yemen. What what is so much you know it's so difficult to understand with the case of Saudi Arabia that after many years of fighting Ansarla they don't know they they don't know how tough these people are and how powerful they are and has become in my opinion in the last in the last decade. The United States couldn't defeat them. The Trump administration couldn't defeat Ansarla in the Red Sea. How can you imagine Saudi Arabia being able to defeat Ansarla? It's impossible. It takes time for them. Maybe they don't you know these people who are fighting on the ground they thought

that it's going to be different and these people are going to defeat Ansarla but there is no sign. We can majority of the people 80% on the control of Ansarla in Yemen and they're basically aligned with the Ansarla policies, the policies of this of Houthis or Ansarla. So for it's a losing hand for Saudi Arabia and I don't understand the continuation. Why are they doubling down when they know that they're going to be defeated and this is not going to change the reality in bubble man that. Follow man that is the major issue as you know together with the state of foremost today which for Saudi Arabia that's why you see their economies under tremendous pressure and they're asking for eight billion dollars in loan because of the difficulties they're facing. This is what's going on with Saudi Arabia. So putting that aside the United States has

brought something new in the Persian Gulf. These are these further shows that this is what RRGC said today. The United States is they have intercepted. RRGC said it intercepted and a US Army on man's surface vessel they call it USV and these are controlled remotely and they're trying to use these you know these USVs to penetrate the straight-off foremost. But bringing this and it's so the straight-off foremost is so much under the control of Iran and even with the new weapons that the United States is bringing not only this USVs but they're using the fighter jets in the straight-off foremost they're using helicopters they're using fuel tankers it comes to a moment and we've seen

that before the United States reported that Iran is trying to use missiles and the aircraft missiles in the straight-off foremost. So looking at the aircraft carriers looking at the destroyers they're basically these are fat these are fat targets fat you know it's it's all it's so easy for Iran to attack these targets in the in the Gulf of one month in the Arabian Sea and with the case of the aircraft carriers Iran has decided not to escalate I think their the escalation is coming and for those people who believe that the United States is going to escalate after the midterm elections I really think that Iran is in the process of escalating that even before the midterm elections because they want to remove the priority today for Iran is to remove the blockade

of the United States. The other point that I wanted to talk is the Mecca Defense Alliance as they call it Mecca Defense Alliance Turkey so the Arabia and Pakistan coming together Turkey went to the SEO summit they were there and they know the major concerns of the SEO the major concerns were those two that were mentioned in the joint statement the war in the West Asia and the economic war or sanctions on Russia and Iran and other countries China is under tariffs from the United States so what does Turkey want from the SEO summit what can the Mecca Defense Alliance learn from the SEO because the SEO is a security pack was a security pack the whole concept of the SEO was based on the security collective security this is what the Mecca Defense Alliance in the initial days is seeking

for a minor opinion they're talking about alliance of the all of that because of the addiction to the alliance the name in NATO but this is not alliance if it was an alliance they were supposed to attack Yemen Pakistan and Turkey you know together with Saudi Arabia the same that the United States did with the case of Iraq the United States together with Saudi's attack PLO in Iraq a PPMO in Iraq and if that was the case they would have done that but you don't see Turkey mentioned and even mentioned in the case of Yemen or Pakistan because this is not the issue for them the issue for them is something beyond that it's something in the West Asia it's the American behavior of supporting Israel they're trying to do their best for such a long time the GCC countries

I'm talking basically about Qatar they were trying to present themselves so Turkey the same way or Pakistan that the United States can change its policy in the West Asia favoring more the Muslim countries or getting closer to the position of the not favoring getting closer to the position of Muslim countries Turkey Pakistan Saudi Arabia Qatar all these countries I'm not mentioning UAE because UAE has no it's not that important and they they're not that much you know they they're they're in Yemen they're in Somalia they're trying to make some sort of troubles in those countries but when it comes to the West Asia no one would care about UAE or not that powerful militarily geopolitically economically they're important for the region but that's all and the whole importance can collapse

for many of these countries overnight it depends on their policies for example in Iran if they decide to cut everything with with the UAE they can do it and they can find some sort of solution for that so all these countries they wanted a better relationship with the United States in order to reduce the leverage that Israel has on the United States in the region they had it you know they they they tried everything so far with with the case of the United States you remember Dalton went to the West Asia went to GCC countries they pried him they gave them investment in the United States they're going to do this and that just imagine all those you know the Qatari government gave an airplane to Donald Trump so but what was the outcome of that the outcome for Qatar was Israeli attack on Doha the outcome of

that was you know the new attacks you know the new endless war in the West Asia between the United States and Israel on one side and Iran on the other side and these countries are suffering a lot and by now everybody knows what's going on in these countries and the difficulties to their economies so there is two way to deal with that one of them is doubling down and saying okay we're not getting me not that capable we have to follow the empire the United States whatever they're trying to say and we're going to follow the other point would be we're not that powerful to go against the United States but we can have some sort of understanding in the region which you know this is what so the Arabia is trying to do they're not trying to remove the United States going against the United States no they're trying to diversify their security not only their economy

you remember you know the whole concept of petrol dollar based on the you know the golf golf states so the Arabian other other countries they so the Arabian at some moment they have decided to sell oil to China using the Chinese currency that was a huge move you know they reached to the point to diversify their economy and they're getting to that point as an outcome of this war is getting more obvious for them and they have to do that but not only economically with the case of the security the region is learning that they have to diversify the security the United States can be there but they're not going to be able to provide security umbrella for those countries that's why so the Arabia was bringing asking Turkey and Pakistan to come together to have that the Mecca defense alliance and the reason they did that in Mecca it was all about you know sending message to those countries who they consider as their

adversaries basically Iran if not the enemies and because they had the roprosh mob between Saudi Arabian Iran before the war started China was part of that Russia behind the scene was part of that so but today Turkey has its own difficulties in Syria the whole country the whole Syria is becoming the border of Israel Israel is talking the way that Israel is talking about Syria as the whole country is the border of Israel and no one is able to get in it means that Syria has no sovereignty in deciding who's going to who's going to be their friend who's going to be their partner who's going to be their ally in the region no Israel's policy is saying no you're not going to decide about it you're a little mayor in Syria and we're going to have a buffer zone in the southern

because the concerns on the part of Syria is not just about you know it's not just about Israel and what Israel is trying to do in the southern part it's about the Kurdish people it's about the domestic you know the security inside the country the government has no capabilities everything was destroyed since the fall of Bashar Assad so the policy of Turkey is to improve the situation in Syria and to help the government to give them some sort of defensive capabilities offensive capabilities and this take you know it takes time for Turkey to do that but Israel is just monitoring everything and there's just say nothing is going to come in whatever comes in we're going to hit that we're going to use the fighter jets the other point for Israel is that they're showing somehow they want to show the to the United States that

Turkey is the enemy why are you selling why do you want to sell F-35s to Turkey this country is the enemy the reason for that look at Syria they're fighting us in Syria but the Syria case doesn't have but you this is do you know but the Turkey has no leverage or no significant leverage in the United States to change that reality the support for Israel in the United States is solid at least for the time being and no one can change that reality that's the reason of this security path that's the reason of the Mecca path Turkey knows its difficulty Turkey doesn't want a failed state on its border so the Arabia understands the security umbrella they were bragging about and they were so proud of for decades it's not there anymore it's not that efficient it's not that capable

anymore because of the war because what if what has happened so far Iran attacks on American bases in Saudi Arabia Pakistan is is is the neighboring country of Iran there's somehow they want to find new partners in the West Asia they want to improve because we know the difficulties between India and Pakistan which doesn't make sense but let's put it that you know that's a huge you know we can talk about it for hours and hours what's going on between Pakistan and India but putting that aside Pakistan tries to win trying to gain momentum trying to transform its foreign policy with new partners with new friends and that's the policies coming to Iran today to GCC countries to Turkey to the whole region because they see themselves as a Muslim country which is not the

case for India when you are a Muslim country you want to get closer to the Muslim people to Iranians to sow these to quay these to all of these countries altogether this is the initial moment I think there are people who are pessimists who are thinking that the Mecca pack is going to go against Iran is going to go against you know they're planning for Yemen and nothing gonna happen in my opinion Mecca pack is as time goes by and the dominance of the United States is reducing you accept it or not as time goes by the United States dominance is going to disappear in the West Asia militarily I'm talking about and economically it takes time but militarily is gonna fade away rapidly or rapidly compared to the economically you know when it comes to the economy it takes more time to disappear but it doesn't it doesn't need to disappear the United States can redefine its

relations with the region with all the countries in the region I have a better relationship economically with the region that doesn't mean that militarily they're gonna be in the region the way it was before the war started the war has transformed the region into something else that's the Mecca pack that's what these countries want to create in the region and Xi Jinping you see the positive signs from Russia from China basically they're not part of what's going on but they they're supporting that why are they supporting the Mecca pack is all about you know because the stability of the region would improve the situation with the case of Russia with the case of China China wants stability in the West Asia in the Persian Gulf in that stability they're gonna have good relationship with the Iranians with GCC countries with Turkey with all the countries in the region with Pakistan they have good relationship with Pakistan that's part of the game game on the

part of China and the other major issue for China is Xinjiang the main reason that they started you know one of the main reason that they started the SEO the SEO one of the major concerns for Russia and China is these al-Qaeda ISIS groups this day is one of the major concerns for Russia hugely hugely important for Russia so the security pack of the region it means that these governments would come together would have some sort of understanding to not to support you know al-Qaeda ISIS like groups in the region which was the case before some of these GCC countries were supporting a lot these groups al-Qaeda ISIS Wahabi groups so that's gonna be removed as time goes by with the mecca pack in my opinion and that's gonna hugely benefit Russia in a long run because the al-Qaeda ISIS

wasn't just the concern of Iranians it was one of the major concerns in Russia so this is you know the picture resume now the picture of what's going on despite having difficulties in Ukraine and having difficulties in the West Asia and the you know the possibility of huge escalations on two battlefields in my opinion in in Ukraine between Russia and Europe and in the West Asia between Iran and the United States. Israel is just a little country they don't have anything in my opinion to this day everybody it doesn't matter how Benjamin Ednault is prying about how great Israel has become how powerful they are today they're not powerful militarily the only thing they know that is going to the southern Lebanon and destroying these villages using bombing and destroying this is the only thing they know when on the battlefield going underground they cannot defeat Hamas they couldn't

defeat Hamas they couldn't defeat Hezbollah and putting the Israel case aside I think the whole zooming out and seeing the picture is is important to see all of the all of these things together and I see again no capability in the Trump administration in achieving something in in Ukraine or with the case of Iran he's gonna continue this is a political game this is a show for Donald Trump and he's the showman he's just playing around going to Ukraine whenever the case of Ukraine is getting somewhere that it's so difficult deal with comes to the West Asia it's just shifting he's just found some sort of hobby to shift from the West Asia to Ukraine from Ukraine to the West Asia and somehow going talking with Chinese and saying that but those days are over and the Russia and Iran they know that they

have to decide about the the future based on their internal strength based on what they have in the region that's they they want to do it all by themselves to my understanding and I don't see Donald Trump or Steve Whitgov and Jert Kushner been able to do that much of you know help or you know bringing some sort of sanity to what's going on again I believe that diplomacy is the art of diplomats diplomacy is not something to be manipulated by real estate deal makers of you know of New York naming Jert Kushner Steve Whitgov that's the fact that's the reality that's what has happened during JCPA it was a diplomatic you know move on the part of the United States those those people are not

they don't exist in the Trump administration there is no ambassador chance for him and today in the United States unfortunately in the Trump admins not in the United States the reason a lot of diplomats good diplomats good people who can do but in the Trump administration unfortunately before that in the Biden administration we haven't seen that much of capability in negotiating talking instead of fighting this is the big picture when you don't learn I think this is this is the main point with China Russia and Iran with the global south or global majority it's all about compromise and cooperation and the moment the United States learns that that's the moment of change and I don't see that happening with the Trump administration thank you so much for being with me today I'm gonna see you soon I'm gonna talk with the next talk I'm gonna be with Ray McGawer
