Hi everybody, today is Monday, September 7, 2026 and I'm here to talk about the situation in the West Asia and we have multiple fronts, you know, from the conflict between Israel and Lebanon, the attacks on Lebanon, we have a conflict, an active conflict, a war. It's happening inside Yemen and ongoing war between Iran and the United States. Let's start with what's going on between Iran and the United States. Yesterday, what we've learned is was that Iran is using or has used a new missile, a new type of missile to hit the US aircraft carrier and destroyers. This, the location of these two, let me just bring the map up here because we have to understand where are these, you know, warships. Let me just bring the map here.
Yeah, when these, the aircraft carrier and destroyers basically are here in this area and it depends and they get closer, they get far from, you know, from the Iranian borders here and what was mentioned yesterday, what we've learned from this is the area. What we've learned from the Iranian, the head of Supreme National Security, Iran, Maksandre, so he said that for the first time, he said, Iran tested one of the, one of its anti-ship missiles on a US Navy vessel which caused them to flee. And the, the understanding is that this new missile was some sort of hypersonic missile. We still don't know. He was asked during the interview, the guy who was interviewing him,
he said, what type of missile was that? He said, let's keep that, you know, aside, he didn't want to talk about it. So, but the perception is there was some sort of panic and for the sand com. There was no mention of that missile and if it hit or it didn't hit the aircraft carrier together with the, this wayers the warships. But the problem is not the missile, the problem is that the capabilities of these, the aircraft carrier and the warships is reducing as time goes by because of, you know, they have to defend themselves using the inner sector, using the air defense system. If, and they're not that much capable of defending themselves when it comes to the capabilities of Iran, you remember when Iran started the first attack, Iranian attack on Israel. What was the strategy? They started sending drones to Israel. It took, you know, hours to get there.
And since, you know, when they got their, they saturated air defense system together with some ballistic missile, all ballistic missiles that Iran was using in the first attack on Israel, they're basically saturated the whole air defense system of Israel because it wasn't just Israel it was all these Arab states together with Jordan together with Israel. They had the aircraft carriers, the three years all around Israel to defend Israel. But the strategy was the saturation was, you know, to somehow make the air defense system incapable of defending the, you know, the targets. But that didn't happen during the, you know, you, we've seen how Iran, you know, how we don't hit the targets in the first attack, saturated. Then after the saturation, you see the main missiles coming in and hitting the targets. When it comes to the aircraft carrier and warships, though as they call it, destroyers,
they're not that capable. If it on the sides to do that, they don't need to, you know, they're sending drones there. And we know that with the case of the number of interceptors in these aircraft carriers and warships, they're limited. They don't have plenty of them to be used over and over. And they have the problem with the supply line. We know that because of Abraham Lincoln, you remember what has happened with Abraham Lincoln and the supply line that in the same thing is happening when it comes to the interceptors. If they lose all those interceptors, they have to go somewhere to resupply to replace them. This is, and Iran knows that. That's why I think the situation is not, it's getting worse as time goes by Iran. It depends on, basically, it's the situation, let's say, the destiny. It's so fluid right now. It depends how are they going to confront Iranians? Iranians are they going to escalate?
And it depends on the region and these sort of little things, little confrontations that are happening in the region. If the two sides decide to escalate or Iran decides to escalate or the United States does something like the attacks on those three tankers in the Persian Gulf or close to the Persian Gulf, we're going to see the same thing happening over and over. But the problem is that this little, my little changes, they're bringing each and every time more escalations. This is dangerous. This is, this can get out of the hand. It means that gets to some moment that Iran decides to hit the warships. It means that they're going to saturate everything. They're going to attack them. And there is nothing there to help them. Nobody's there to help them. And the air defenses, as I said, they're limited to defending the aircraft carrier. And Iran doesn't need to sink these warships. That may happen, by the way. It's not going to be, we can say that
you can manage, you can avoid that by managing the conflict. But when the conflict escalates, there is nothing that there is no red line when everything gets, you know, insane. And this is, this is part of the conflict. And when you ask, you know, we're asking, is escalation going to happen? We little don't know. Because you have to see the, you have to see the straight up for most. How the United States is trying to yesterday, is trying to use this rate, the southern part of this rate yesterday, what was the, you know, because Iran means they're not giving us that much of information. We have to go and listen to, you know, for example, the head of national security council, you know, the former head of national security council, he wasn't that vocal, he didn't talk that he didn't have, you know, that much of inner views and that many of inner views. So, but the new one, which is changing, this is, this is the guy that is responsible for
this change that is happening right now, the changing from defensive to offensive or to offensive sort of, you know, instead of going preemptive as they call it. So he said that the United States is trying to smuggle six to five to six, you know, ships or vessels in the southern part of this rate and they're trying to avoid that. But one of the difficulties they're facing and these tankers are carrying oil. If they hit them, it's a catastrophe environmentally because the environment, you know, you see the oil going into the water in this rate of our most, that's, he said that's difficult for Iran. It's going to be harmful for Iranians as well. So they're trying to hit them the way that it's not going to, you know, bring that leakage of, you know, oil or whatever they have that better chemical products they have. This is, this is the difficulties that they're,
this is one of the major concerns on the part of Iranians. On the other hand, they said all of them getting damaged by Iranian attacks. Mostly, he said the United States is trying to do that during the night, you know, at night and there is, you know, there is a rock, you know, close to the Omani border. They're using that sort of, you know, geography close to the rock and smuggling those vessels. But that's not huge. It's five to six vessels as he confirmed. Let's go beyond that, 10, 12. Is that going to change the problem, the shortage of what's going on in the global market? It's not even close to, to resolve that. And Donald Trump, Donald Trump today posted one of the, you know, Washington Post, if I'm not mistaken, he, in Washington Post, there is a new article about Iranian president saying that we are under tremendous pressure and we have to do something,
we have to put an end to the war. Donald Trump is sharing that, confirming that Iran is suffering a lot, to confirm that Iran is suffering. That's not a, you know, that's not a big deal for Iran. And they're saying that the conflict, the war, since day one of this war, Iran was suffering from the war, from the devastation of the war, from the destruction. And this is not something so out of the curve or something new, something, you know, a surprise. The Iranians are talking, the, even, you know, the far right, far left, or the, you know, the centrist in Iran, oh, they are all talking about the inflation out of, because of the war, the devastation that is happening to the Iranian economy, you know. So Donald Trump sharing that, it doesn't change, you know, the mindset as though that Iran would change its strategy in this war. It has nothing to do with the strategy when it comes to the confrontation,
to go in against the blockade, American blockade and Iranian ports. This is the point that Iran is not able. All I can confirm that you see, you look at the Iranian media, from the right left center or the all unified. I'm talking about decision makers, not talking about, you know, those people, you know, you can find a professor in one of the universities who says, you know, this or that X and Z, and I'm not talking about decision makers, those decision makers are basically unified in the way that they're fighting. And their main objective is to remove the, the American blockade. What are those means in their hand? One of them is putting the economic pressure with the global market. And they don't have this timeline as we have, it could be always discussed here on this channel with our guests. And we are not, I'm not in that region, I'm not seeing, but we are basically mostly attached with the mindset that what does the
United States, what, what, you know, what does Donald Trump want? And is he going to escalate before the midterm elections or after the midterm elections? What are the possibilities of these two options? The Iranian mind is, they don't care about, you know, the timeline. Basically, they're talking about the blockade. It doesn't matter before the midterm elections, after the midterm elections, they're prepared to escalate. And they're so confident militarily that they're prepared to continue the conflict. And they know, they're talking about how to hit the supply line to these vessels, to the warship, to the, to the aircraft carrier. And the supply line could be they have to, you know, simple way to supply the aircraft carrier that's going to be using, you know, by the sea or, you know, by using the aircrafts. So they're thinking how to put pressure
in that sort instead of attacking directly, maybe finding some sort of solution to hit the supply line to do something with the supply line. That could be, that could bring huge suffering to, to the forces, to American forces in the region. So we know that the GCC countries all together are somehow, Iran is monitoring, they're monitoring the GCC, Oman and all these countries. If there is some sort of communication helping the United States, they're going to hit. And we've seen today, you know, in the latest attacks, Iranian attacks on GCC countries. And the United States said, they hit no target. They again came out this picture here. It shows, let me just bring this here. Yeah. Here, this is in Kuwait. And they hit the target as you see
the these two areas. This is the command and housing facilities in Kuwait. You see, they hit, basically they hit the target. You see no devastation around that target. And they use, for these two, they use ballistic missile. They were, they didn't hit them with drones. It shows how precise their missiles are and they're getting. Because it was a huge experience for them to understand, to improve, you know, the way that they were, you know, hitting the targets in all of, in Jordan, in Kuwait, in Saudi Arabia, in Bahrain, all of them. And it's getting better and better. And you see the images coming out, the satellite images showing us that they're getting better. Going back to the situation with the with the war in the West Asia, today we had
Erdogan before getting to Erdogan. Let me just mention because we had an escalation between Saudi Arabia and Yemen. And again, it was confirmed by financial time. See, it says that the Yemen again hit Romko facility in Jazan. And this is, this is so stupid. I don't know what's going on in the mind of Saudi Arabia. But Yemen, particularly, strategically, militarily, they have shown, it's not just about yesterday and the day before yesterday or in 2025 that Donald Trump decided to force them into capitulation. It goes beyond that. It's going long before, you know, all of them, they had some sort of coalition, Saudi Arabia, with the help of all of these GCC countries, I would say, together with the United States, tried to do that with Yemen, with Ansolah in Yemen. And they had these forces, these forces that, as we see today, they're fighting Yemenis,
Ansolah, PLO, as they call it, you know, support pro, Saudi pro, UAE, these forces are supplied by Saudi Arabia and UAE basically, all these vehicles, they have come in from these two countries, weapons coming from these two countries. But they have done that before. This is not a problem for them. But Saudi Arabia, on one hand, they're trying to distract Yemenis and Ansolah from bubble-manda, because at the same time, you want to bring some sort of internal fight to distract them from what's going on in bubble-manda. But so far, what we've seen from Yemenis and Ansolah, Houthis, they were able to focus on both fronts internally and bubble-manda. And that's why you see, so the Arabia is suffering not only with the case of, you know, these people who are supporting them inside Yemen and fighting Houthis, on the other hand,
with the case of their economy. Nothing is happening in bubble-manda, they may do something similar to what the United States is doing in the trade of foremost, but it's not going to be that successful. It's not going to be that, you know, it's not going to be a sea change, comparing to what it was before the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen started. So, it started. The only way it continues to be that Suez Canal, going to the north instead of going to the south through the bubble-manda, as you see here, let me bring this here. And again, they may smuggle some tankers from this area, or but the only way right now for them is going to the Mediterranean Sea right now. This is what Saudi Arabia is trying to do for the time being. What is so difficult to understand and who's helping them, who's giving them this sort of
helps that strategic help. I don't know if we can call it strategic because it's not a strategic tactical help. Whoever it's doing, it's not doing great because Yemen, I don't see and so on being defeated. It's impossible. It's impossible. And we're going to see at the end of this conflict, which comes to an end, in my opinion, because the way that Yemen is attacking Saudi Arabia, and they're going to increase, they're going to expand these attacks on the oil facility in Saudi Arabia. It comes to a moment that they're going to come, please do something. We were going to talk. Let's find some sort of political solution. But since they're doubling down, you see who feels they know how to deal with that. They've been doing this for such a long time, more than a decade. So at least, you know, we have to be honest. We have to be logical. They know how to deal with the escalation. They know how to deal with the ground forces in Yemen.
Putting that aside here, the other image that shows here, as you see here, it confirms the attacks on Jason in Saudi Arabia, the oil facilities. It was confirmed by this image, you know, by NASA. So this is the case of Saudi Arabia. I assume if they were, they were logical, they would call, they would talk with Iranian government, they would talk with their friends in Turkey, in Pakistan, they would find some sort of political solution between, between Saudi Arabia and Yemen. This is not, they're not going to get anything out of this conflict militarily. And if they wanted to be, you know, get some sort of positive outcome, they have to talk, they have to find, they have to remove the siege on Yemen. But let's see if they're going to be
prepared to go that far. Putting that aside, the other point which was important today, it was the, it was Erdogan. Erdogan today said that there, he said that we harbor hostility toward no one. On contrary, we want to continue on our path as an independent, stable, and prosperous state in this difficult geography in which we find ourselves. So we, he, he, you know, it's, it's somehow confusing that he puts the blame on the geography, because the geography doesn't cause this conflict, the geography, you know, other things are so much important. It means that are these people, all these government in this geography, are they, are they wise enough to find a solution,
a political solution with what they're dealing with? Because the geography is not the problem. Look at the Arab. How many years Europeans were fighting each other? It depends on the people who are living in that geography. If they're wise enough, they're going to find a solution without killing themselves, killing each other. So this is the point I think that is amazing that Erdogan is blaming the geography because of what's going on. And we may understand because in Europe, there was no Israel. There was no, you know, Israel is the destabilizing factor in the West Asia. As it was mentioned by the Omani government, the Foreign Minister of Oman said that. Iranians believe in that, you know, you go to Iraq the same way, Turkey the same way. Here is what he said. We will never allow this path to be blocked. Those who are, you know, disturbed by our country becoming stronger and by its effort to establish peace and stability
in its region cannot turn us back from our path. When he talked about those who are disturbed, he basically, he's talking about Israel. There is no other country in the region that are disturbed with Turkey being stronger or who's what is, you know, the elements of Turkey being stronger. And what is in the mind of Erdogan when he talks about Turkey being stronger? You may remember two links, one of them is talking about Turkey people going to the central Asia, which I don't believe that he Erdogan is going to follow that so severely. But the other problem that he's dealing with is in Syria and the way that he has the confrontation, you know, he's his experience in this serious confrontation between Turkey and Israel. And he said, have no doubt no one has the power to change
the course. Yeah, the course of history, Turkey will shake hands with its friends embrace its relatives and reunite with its brothers, with its brothers. This is important. Those who are friends with Turkey will win and while those who harbor hostility will lose. This is the rhetoric used here from the Turkish government and from Israel is as well because they have the same, you know, the Israeli is feeling that Turkey's presence in Syria is a threat, is a growing threat for Israel. You remember when Israelis were talking about, you know, the that so-called board of peace, they wanted to do something in Gaza and bringing forces. Israel said no Turkish or battery forces going to come. No one from Turkey and that are going to come to Gaza. They don't
trust these two countries. So you see how deep the conflict is between Turkey and Israel. The other point that Erdogan mentioned about the conflict between the United States and Israel, here is what he said. The cost of this war is talking about the Iran war, the war between Iran and the United States. That began with Israel's provocations. It's being paid not only by the Iranian people and not only by the Iranian people but also our brothers, you know, our brotherly golf countries. But by, you know, and everyone else in the region, he's he mentions, I assume he's talking about maybe Pakistan, maybe going to Armenia, you know, other countries around Iran, they're basically talking about this. It was once again, it was, he said it was once again, Israel's lies and acts of sabotage that thwarted the Islamabad accord. Islamabad accord is the
MOU. He believes that Israel was behind what has happened, you know, the United States, signing the MOU and later on violating everything, each and every paragraph of the MOU. This is the perception on the part of Syria, on the part of Turkey. The same is in with the case of Pakistan. Pakistan has the same understanding. They were part of the negotiations. They know what's going on. And the question is, what is the solution for this as Erdogan said, this difficult geography. And I think this is the moment for the region to understand that instead of blaming the geography, they have to blame themselves. They have to blame the government. All these governments, all of them together. I'm not saying it loud. Any of them, I believe, all of them are,
they don't, they didn't try the way that they have to, to find some sort of solution for what's going on. I'm coming back again to the Mecca defense alliance, as they call it. That's the only solution for the region. That's the only solution. When it comes to Israel, when it comes to Gaza, when it comes to the West Bank, today we've seen, you know, the Israelis are talking about the West Bank, basically, Smotrich said, who's this guy? Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank. Oh, we have to remove him from power. He did, the guy is a terrorist. Mahmoud Abbas is a terrorist. He was, he's facilitated all this devastation in the West Bank. He somehow cooperated with the Israelis. This is the way that they're going to treat these people, those countries that are cooperating. Now, at some point, they need, they need Mahmoud Abbas. And today, you remember during
the Biden administration, Anthony Blinken went to Palestine. He went to the West Bank. He said that only government that we recognize in Palestine is in the West Bank, Mahmoud Abbas. And he was, talking with Mahmoud Abbas, he had a meeting with Mahmoud Abbas. Why doesn't matter what Anthony Blinken is thinking of, or he's talking about? The important matter, the important point is what Israel is talking about. Israel doesn't, doesn't recognize Mahmoud Abbas. Why, why are they feeling this way? Because Mahmoud Abbas has no power, because Mahmoud Abbas is powerless. He has nothing today. If they decide to remove him, he has no military power, strategic power, and nobody would care about Mahmoud Abbas. Now, this is the way it is. That's why the situation in the West Bank
is worsening. And in Gaza, the same way, in Gaza, they're asking to disarmament of Hamas without Israel withdrawing from Gaza, 60%, 70% of Gaza. So what would be, are they going to disarm Hamas? That's not going to happen. And coming back to what's going on with the case of Yemen, I believe that if Turkey decides to help Saudi Arabia, who are the players, main players in the region to help the situation to somehow come down with the case of Iran, with the case of Saudi Arabia. Turkey, Pakistan, and the communications they have, they have their our, their our, you know, the lines of communication between Iran and Turkey, I would say they're in a
good shape between Iran and Pakistan the same way. And they have the communication between Saudi Arabia and Iran as well. It's all about the art of communications, well, all about how you learn, how you get better. He said Erdogan said something important, said we want to be prosperous. We want to have peace and prosperity in the region. The peace and prosperity comes out of talks, negotiations. You cannot achieve that by war. And no one is part of that. And the United States is getting to the point that militarily, militarily, the United States cannot sustain the war. This is the fact, no one can change that. It doesn't matter if Donald Trump wants to escalate, he doesn't want to escalate. They say the nuclear bombs, the nuclear bombs going to change everything.
No, the nuclear bombs, you can devastate, you can destroy, you can burn the cities, but that doesn't, that doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to force them into capitulation. If you don't know the culture, that's your fault. If you know, you go to the region, you know the culture of these people who you're fighting with. You can understand that these people, there is no capitulation in their language, there is no capitulation in their culture. It's all about the sacrifice for justice. That's why, that's why they were supporting Palestinian people. What are they gaining? What are they getting from the support that they're giving to the Palestinian people? Is that, are they getting something economically, militarily, geopolitically, nothing? Because their strategy is justice for the
whole people in the region. And my understanding is the new talks that are happening. It's, physically, it's because of the United States wasn't able, you know, to give that sort of sentiment to these countries in the region that they're going to be, you know, they're going to be, they're going to be there and helping them and defending them. That's why they're finding some sort of alternative. But the alternative is not just about the alternative, it's about the communications, it's about the way that you talk, you negotiate. Donald Trump is, as I've mentioned yesterday, Donald Trump today is talking with, he sent Steve Whitcock and Jert Kushner to talk with the government in Russia and in Ukraine. What is that all about? It's all about Donald Trump finding
some sort of solution for himself, not for Russia and Ukraine, not for, you know, for the conflict that was going on for, you know, we were approaching five years of war. Donald Trump tries to find some sort of, you know, solution for his position in the United States. And maybe out of that, they can put more pressure on Iran because if he does something with the case of Ukraine, if he brings these two countries together, which is impossible with, you know, with ongoing talks, as we've learned from Russians, Russia's concern is all about the security of Europe, the security of the region, not Europe, the security of the region, all together. Russia, Ukraine, and going to Europe. That's why today we've learned a lot of his talking about the problem, we're going to end, you know, the SMO special military operation when the Nazism is over in Europe.
Is that, what is that? It means basically, he's basically mentioning the security architecture, in a security architecture, nobody would bring more arms to the region. And today we've learned that the United States is sending more arms to Norway, for example, the new muscles, new military equipment to Norway. Why is that? And getting closer to the Russian borders again, is that a sign for the United States, the for Russians, that the United States trying to resolve that. No, it's all about propaganda, it's all about the media, it's all about how these sort of moves, these sort of talks can change a little bit the Trump's picture or the Republican picture or the way that Trump administration is trying to, you know, defend itself when it comes to the foreign policy. They're trying to help themselves internally in the United States. There is no sign in Europe
yesterday when we do talks between Stavitkov, Jert Kushner and one side, Anzalinsky and Yuripins, there were three or four round of talks. One of them was together with Yuripins, with the United Kingdom, Germany and France being part of that. You see no sign that they're going to de-escalate. And Zalinsky said that he's going to receive more defensive capabilities from the United States. The other point that they don't Trump decided to do this is the winter. And the winter going to be so painful this year comparing to the previous years in Ukraine, because this year Russia's already, you know, has already put tremendous pressure on their economy because of the blockade on Odessa and Nikolayev. Just going into winter, it's going to be hugely problematic for
Ukraine. And this is, again, this is part of the game. It's all a game. If they're serious, which I don't see that, they have to, they have to, you know, the negotiations, the Donald Trump has to bring Europeans and Russians together instead of Zalinsky. So, Zalinsky is nobody. At least I'm not talking about my point of view. In the eyes of Russians, Zalinsky is nobody. It doesn't matter Zalinsky. What matters the most for Russia is Europe, European countries, and the way are they going to, or the behavior of the United States in European countries. As I said, there's sending more weapons to Europe. Donald Trump withdrew the American troops from Germany, some of them, and sent them to Poland. Is that a sign that the United States wants to de-escalate?
And how long Donald Trump is going to be the prison of the United States in the next two and a half years? So, is that significant for Russia? No, Russia sees the long-term strategy. Russia is fighting, you know, the war, I said, they're getting to the five years of the war. It's going to be more than Donald Trump's second term. It's already more than the second term of Donald Trump. So, they know that this conflict has deep roots, and they have to address those roots. And they want, they're prepared. Every time you see Putin coming out and talking about the conflict, he says, basically, he says, we're prepared. We're open to talk. They never said that we are, you know, we're going to destroy Ukraine. We're going to say, as Anthony Blinken said, all Russia wants to do since the war started, by the way, Russia wants to subsume Ukraine. Russia wants to capture all of Ukraine. You have to be out of your mind to accept
or to believe what Anthony Blinken was talking or doing those days. Because how come Russia wants to go to the western part of Ukraine? What is the connection between Russian people? And the western part of Ukraine, which is basically Ukrainians, Hungarians, Romanians, a combination of nations in the western part of Ukraine. Since the war started in the six months into the war, you see Russia is keeping that border in the eastern part of Ukraine. They're not willing to go deep into the western part. Why? Why do they need to set up a trap for themselves? They know that they don't want to do this. The only thing that Russia wants and they state that during the eastern part, the only thing that they want, they want to have, they want to find a political solution for what's going on. And the continuation of the war,
what is making Donald Trump nervous, in my opinion, is the blockade and the way they're putting pressure on Ukrainians. And the way that Ukraine is losing on the battlefield. And with the case of drones, it's not that strategic attacking Russian oil facilities, sabotaging this and that. And hitting some today, they hit one of these fighter jets in Crimea. This is not fighting. This is sabotaging. This is not war of attrition. Russia is fighting a war of attrition. Is that painful when they hit oil facility in Russia? Yeah, it's painful. And they know that, and they're willing to sacrifice that for a better future for the Russian people. This is the way that Russia sees. That's why Russia doesn't want. Do you think that Russia losing the young people?
Is that that's painful for every, every life in this war is painful on both sides. But the problem is the security architecture. Donald Trump is serious talking about security architecture, bring Europeans, bring Russians and talk, bring all of them together. Ukraine is nobody today. Militariously, economically, they're nobody. Later on, you can bring Ukrainians, some people in Ukraine, since Russia doesn't recognize Zelensky as the president of Ukraine. Maybe some people in the government, rather, or the parliament in Ukraine, they can do later on, I'm not talking about an initial talk. That's why you see no no willingness on the part of Russians to talk with Zelensky. Who's Zelensky? You have to talk with Zelensky's boss, who's in the United Kingdom.
You have to talk with the United Kingdom. I'm talking about the United States has to talk with them with Germany, which is making a new case with the drone attack. They destroyed the drone. Let's assume that the drone didn't hit any targets in Germany. It didn't explode. It didn't destroy anything in Germany. What they're making a big deal out of it to escalate the situation between Germany and Russia. The sabotage of North-Saint-Pierple and which destroyed their economy for more than four years, nobody's talking about it in Germany. This is outrageous. You see, that's why the AfD or AFD alternative for Deutschland is getting momentum in Germany. You see they're growing. This is the far right party in Germany, which isn't that amazing that the usually they say the left wing parties are against the war. You see all the opposite in Europe.
The right wing parties are getting against the war and the left wing are supporting the continuation of the war. This is disastrous. This has nothing to do with the right and left. There is no right, left, there is no left left in my opinion in today's world. It's all about who wants war, who doesn't want war, who wants the continuation of the conflicts, who wants the suffering. This is the division, who wants peace, who wants war. There is no left left, there is no right left. And it comes when it comes to the West Asia, when it comes to the case of Iran, it's the same. I would argue that the same thing that is happening in the mind of the Russian government and the Putin administration, the same thing is in the mind of the Iranian leadership. The Iranian leadership wants a better region, in a region that no one suffers
from the American sanctions. No one is suffering from American attacks. No one is suffering from neighboring countries being used to attack them. This is the reality of what's going on. Iran physically, physically destroyed American bases. What are those bases removed from the mindset of those government in the region? How important are they in their mind? They're far less important today, strategically. That's the main reason that the new defense background, security pack or mecca pack, whatever that is. The importance is that the countries, as Erdogan said, we know that Erdogan, nobody, when it comes to Israel, they say Erdogan is helping Israel on one hand, saying 40% of their oil is coming from Azerbaijan and all of us know Erdogan is facilitating that
helping that. On the other hand, they have their difficulties with Israel. But Israel is not going to go away. In my opinion, they're going to start a new fight with Turkey. It depends on, again, it's so fluid. We don't know. It's going to be in the near future or what would be the situation in Syria as time goes by. It all depends on the situation and the fragility of the situation in Syria. If Israel does something so insane that would bring the reaction from Turkey, even Turkey was so hesitant, so cautious with the attacks in Syria. It basically back down in order not to bring the tensions between Turkey and the United States. The relationship between Turkey and the Trump administration is better than what it was during the Biden administration. This is important for Turkey and Turkey wants to maintain this closeness that has happened during
the Trump administration. They don't want to damage that as long as Donald Trump is in office. It depends, again, on the behavior of Israel in Syria. If they do something that would be so outrageous for Turkey that there is no other option to other than responding to Israel, that would be something new. Which, in my opinion, this is the main objective of Israel. Israel is forcing, is forcing desperately Turkey to respond. They want that. They want nobody to be to have a good relationship with the United States in the region. That's why they hate Qatar so much. No one, no one. Turkey, Qatar, are these two governments and they're trying to
do their best to get closer to the United States. But the problem is Israel. Israel doesn't want that. That's why I think they're going to escalate in Syria. It's impossible for Turkey to avoid that escalation because it's not about Turkey. It's about Israel. The war, just imagine what has happened in the West Asia in the last five, six months. Did Iran want the war? Has Iran attacked Israel? No. Israel decided to attack Iran. Why did Israel decide to attack Iran? Because they thought that Iran is getting maybe they're going to get some sort of deal. Maybe they're going to close to, you know, they can win the United States Trump administration that defying or attacking Iran is the best way to deal with this problem, with the Iranian problem. This is Israel. This is the manipulation. But even Donald Trump, who is suffering from his decision
of attacking Iran, this devastating strategic, you know, defeat for Donald Trump. I really believe that Donald Trump was defeated strategically and militarily. I see no solution militarily for Donald Trump today with a case of Iran. You know, even with the nuclear bombs, that's not going to resolve the issue for Donald Trump, even with nuclear bombs. Because the nuclear bombs would open something that didn't exist before. It means that Iran, you remember, this is little by little, just getting back. Have no one, no one would have ever imagined that Iran someday would attack Israel the way they attack. They devastated their part of Israel that looked like Gaza. The reason that we're not getting the images, you know, they're not getting the, you know, this is something else. They're censoring everything. But no one has ever
thought that someone can attack Israel because they said, if someone attacks Israel, they're going to use nuclear bombs. They're going to nuke them. No. Israel knows that if they're going to nuke, if someone else can have the nuke, the nuke them as well, nuke Israel as well. It's not going to be just Israel, nuke in other countries. But that's why my understanding is these little by little changes, you know, Israel attacking Iran and trying to topple the so-called regime in Iran. And you see what's going on today in Israel. And maybe a regime change can happen in Israel with Benjamin Netneau being defeated. Maybe that doesn't change anything in Israel, by the way. I'm not suggesting that if Benjamin Netneau is removed from power and someone like Naftali Bennett comes to power, that's going to be nothing. Nothing of the change would happen. All these candidates in Israel are presenting the same thing, the same thing. Maybe domestic policy would change for
Israelis. Some domestic little things are going to happen. But when it comes to the foreign policy, when it comes to Lebanon, when it comes to Palestine, when it comes to Syria, they're basically feeling the same way. That's why when Erdogan is so much focused on Benjamin Netneau, this is nonsense in my opinion. It's not Benjamin Netneau. It's about Israel. Do you think that Israel under Naftali Bennett, they're going to ignore what's going on in Syria, or they're not going to escalate against Turkey? This is the same policy. That's not going to change. This is, that's why when Erdogan says this is because of the geography, the geography is bringing suffering to us. No, the people are bringing the suffering, the leaders are bringing this suffering to their people. Who wanted the war that is going on right now? Who wanted the war? Israel wanted the war. Israel is just sitting
aside and attacking Lebanon and the United States and Iran attacking each other and they're attacking Turkey in Syria. As long as there is no sanity in the region, to be honest, they have to be on, there has to be a starting point for that, which I believe the Mecca pack is that starting point. I really believe that. You may not see that sort of sign today. What as time goes by, it's going to get better. They're going to see after Benjamin Netneel, the next, the problem is the behavior of Israel. If the borders of Israel just looking at what Israel is doing here in southern part of Syria, look at this map here. They're basically looking at this region here.
They're in Syria, they're in Lebanon and they're capturing this line and they're talking about the buffer zone. What is buffer zone? Who's going to attack them? Who's going to attack them? Was Syria under the Bashar Assad attacking Israel? Or it was Israel attacking them over and over. Or the new guy, Al Jollani in Syria, is he going to attack them? No, the guy coming out saying, no, we're not going to do anything. We're not going to fight you. We don't want to fight you. We're going to have, the guy said everything to capitulate, the toll capitulation, you know, said, we're not going to fight you. We're going to, we want Israel to be our friend. I'm talking about the guy in Syria, Al Jollani, Al Jollani. But this is not the problem. The buffer zones after
buffer zones, the way that they buffer zone, you know, in the West Bank, the buffer zone in Gaza, as they talk about the yellow line and later on, the region has to understand that the way you see Israel today, it's not about the people, it's not about the Benjamin Netneil, it's about the greater strategy in the establishment of Israel, which is not limited to Israel itself, it goes to the United States. It goes to the Zionist movement in the United States. And those Zionists are helping the government in Israel. Israel today has nothing. Before the war started in Israel, it's so, you know, they're politically, they're, you know, their technology is the best they're doing this and that we're learning the island, though, is nothing basically. The island cannot defend itself against FVB drones of Hezbollah. The islander is that weak. What is that technology,
if it's all about Spine and people? Yeah. It's not, you know, good, yeah, Spine and people and killing, you know, that's, that, that, that technology may, but when it comes to the war, real war, they're not able to produce interceptors, they're not able to produce missiles, all those fighter jets are coming from the United States. Jadid Van said 80%, 70%, 75% of what they've been using in Gaza, in the West Bank, in the war against Iran, comes from the United States. Jadid Van said that, comes from the United States, from the taxpayers in the United States. Who's Israel? They made it, you know, little state there that feels, everybody was talking, they're so technologies, the best, you know, they're super power. Look at how many fighter jets they have. They're gonna just imagine, go get back before the war started, how they were breaking about
Israel alone can destroy Iran. Nothing Israel, Israel is little nothing in the eyes of Iran today. And without the United States, that's why Israel wants the United States to stay in the region. This is, then the region has to find some sort of solution for that. And I think I really believe that the region is, is getting to that point. And this is the problem. That was good. The fall of Bashar Assad was a catastrophe for Syrian people, a catastrophe for Syrian. Look at Syria today. But what has come to Syria, and the aftermath of that is unifying the region. Turkey knows that today it's not about Assad. It's about Israel, because they were, Turkey getting back to what Turkey was talking about before. Assad is doing this, Assad is doing that. You know, they're killing their people.
They're so much aligned with what the United States and Israelis were talking about Syria. But today, Assad is not there anymore. Let's see Turkey, what Turkey would do. Go ahead and deal with that. This is what Iran was talking about for the fall of Bashar Assad. The problem is something else. No, by, you know, deceiving yourself, it doesn't mean that you're resolving the issue. You have to deal with the issue the way it is, not making fake news for yourself. That's why I'm criticizing Erdogan the way that he's talking about the geography. It's about the leaders. You the leaders can do something about it. It doesn't have anything to do with the geography. Thank you so much for being with me today. Great pleasure, as always.
