After an hour's long ground stop was issued by the FAA on Monday due to equipment outages. Initially transportation secretary Sean Duffy said that the M track construction crew accidentally cut a fiber optic lime while doing work in Newark causing a communications equipment failure. JFK LaGuardia Philadelphia airports were all affected. M track said that cut fiber to not involve its crew. It happened on New Jersey Transit property and involved one of their contractors. A financial advisor from Essex County heads to prison after stealing an elderly client's inheritance. State prosecutors say 50 year old John Boston was sentenced to seven years in prison. A jury convicted him of theft for stealing more than $300,000 from a 90 year old woman. The victim received a large inheritance from her late brother and gave Boston power of

attorney to manage her accounts. Instead, he drained her savings and diverted her social security benefits for himself, leaving her unable to pay her bills. Rick Rickman, New Jersey 101.5 news. A 53 year old retired police officer is facing criminal charges for a disturbing reported incident in central Jersey. Christopher Kasich of Kingwood worked for 25 years with Hopewell Township Police before retiring as a lieutenant in 2019. He was then a civilian employee of the Hunting County Sheriff's Office until he resigned last year. Kasich now accused of giving a 13 year old girl alcoholic drinks, then sexually assaulting her in March of last year. Last week, a Hunting County grand jury indicted Kasich on five charges, including second degree sexual assault and third degree endangering the welfare of a child.
