My name is Mick Walker from Let Him Row. I cover our list. You guys know that though if you're here, so we're going to go ahead and get in with this edition of The Letterman Live Recruiting Podcast. Today we're talking exclusively about the Illinois visitors list because it is a lengthy one. And there's a lot of top targets on that list. It's also why we're coming to you on a Thursday instead of a Wednesday like we normally do. And that's because I wanted to give more time for some of the additions to the list and also some subtractions to the list because there's been a few throughout this week. So we're going to talk all about the Illinois visitor list and kind of the names on it. Some names that are lost off of it as well because of the big new kickoff factor. We'll also answer a couple of listener questions at the end and we'll just roll right out of them. Maybe I'll throw in a couple of phosphorums and when I saw Landon Dawson this past Friday, but it's primarily going to be talking about the Illinois visitor list. It's primarily going to be talking about some listener questions from over on the Letterman Lounge message board. I appreciate
you guys for putting those questions in. I appreciate all that you guys for watching and listening to this podcast. So make sure you like the video. Subscribe to the Lemur and YouTube channel where I can continue to do the Letterman Lounge Recruiting Podcast weekly. We're going to continue to have good recruiting content. We're going to continue to have good team content with Spencer Holbrook as well. So I appreciate everybody that tunes into these videos. I appreciate everybody watching and listening to this video. Specifically, again, like the video. Subscribe. And if you're here, please also go check out our partners over at rowback. Rowback.com. Use code Letterman20. Get 20% off your first order over at rowback.com. That's right. Letterman20 to get 20% off your first order over at rowback.com. They got a high estate poll. Those high estate hoodies, high estate teas, high estate quarters. They got a little bit of everything for everybody over there. Great stuff. Best fit, best view. I highly recommend it. Got the rowback hat on and I also got some rowback clothing in the closet. So I go over rowback.com and use code Letterman20 to get 20% off your first order. And now let's get rolling with their high estate visitors list. I'm going to pop over here in the
corner real quick. All right, we're back. Sorry. Technical difficulty there. But I'm down here in the corner. We got the sample of the Ohio State visitors list up on the center of the screen. The headliner at the top. You can see him in there picture with Ryan Day is forced to our offensive lineman Joey Fleming. He's from the Alabama, the Huntsville Alabama area. He visited Ohio State in the spring, which is when he took that picture. He's in the number 22 or number 25 recruit in the rival's industry ranking for the 2020 class. Some of that Tyler Bowen, Ryan Day, a lot of the coaching staff is trying to make a priority in this 2020 a class because he's very good. He's more of an interior offensive lineman than he is an actual offensive tackle, but he does play offensive tackle with high school level. I believe he even played defensive in and tied in. So he's still learning how to play offensive line. But that's a good thing if you're high estate because you want these guys are developing in on an ascending path instead of somebody that's kind of plateaued. And Joey Fleming is somebody that's on an ascending path. It's his second visit. It's going to be hard to beat the schools like Auburn and Alabama, but it's good to be able to get him up on a September kick here at Ohio State. It's especially good that he confirmed that he wanted to visit before the big noon kickoff. Well, that announcement was made and after the big noon kickoff announced
it was made he reconfurned his visit. So getting him back on campus is a big win and getting on campus, even during a noon kick is a big win for Ohio State. The second guy on that list is Lincoln fall off. I believe it's how you pronounce it. If it's not, I'm sorry, Lincoln in your family. I will get that right by the time this next we talk about you next on the podcast, but he's one of a handful of guys on from California coming to Ohio State for this Illinois game, which is surprising again because it is a big noon kickoff. That's not really easy for a lot of these West Coast guys, but there's a lot of availability for Lincoln to get out here. It's going to be his first visit to Ohio State. I've stayed off for a little bit earlier in this calendar year. And a somebody that I was staying tired about if continue to chip away and build the relationship with continuing keeping contact with, but getting him on campus for the first time is a big win for the buck eyes and they'll get to do that this weekend. I don't know if Ohio State's going to be able to pull off the flip there or pull off the coup and win him and pull him out of California, but he's someone that the buck eyes like and it's good to get him on campus and start that to start the process up. And that's the on the list. The third name is four star wide receivers, Zion Robinson. He's somebody that has visited Ohio State once already visiting the spring. He has a
good relationship with Cortes Hankton. He has a good relationship with the system on receivers, coach Devon Jordan. Everything seems to be going right in his recruitment with Ohio State. The problem is he just has not run that off for yet. I think that will come on Saturday assuming he makes it to campus for the Illinois game, which is what he is planning to do. If he does make it to campus, then it'd be a big win for Ohio State. It'd be a big win for Zion Robinson. Again, I'm assuming that he's going to leave campus with a scholarship offer from the buck eyes. If he makes it on campus, he's going to have a handful of wide receivers are going to be up on campus along with four star wide receivers. Maddox Wilde, who's from the four-way area. He worked with the same trainer as a jerk waiting girlfriend and a couple of former Ohio State wide receivers that are up in that four-way area. So Zion Robinson, Maddox Wilde, the big wide receiver names. And then we got Zion on the list right there flipping over to the defensive side of the ball. The big defensive line name coming into Ohio State for the Illinois game is four star edge Ace of Birch. He attends Warranty Harding High School up there in the Youngstownish area. He's in a son of a former Michigan player, Alfie Birch, who played at Michigan. I believe in the 90s. Alfie's a big recruiting
fan. He follows a lot of this stuff. So Alfie, if you listen to this, thank you for tuning in. Also, best of luck and best luck on Friday night with Ace and you guys over at Warranty Harding. But Ace's recruitment, let's talk about that. Ohio State has kind of been in this one longer than more of the other power for schools, power five schools, whatever you may say. And that's because James O'Ranide is issued to him and off early. He worked out with James O'Ranide. He's in line back for the summer at camp. But his body is naturally taking him more towards a defensive end position. He's going to be six foot four, six foot five, two hundred and forty two hundred and fifty-ish pounds. He's going to play defensive end when he gets into the college ranks. So Larry Johnson, Miguel Patrick, some of the Ohio State defensive line group in the defensive line brain, trusted started recruiting Ace of Burchmore. Those have been the primary contact points for Ace to ever since the fall really got started. So it's good to get him on campus for this game. And I believe he's going to come back for the game when in high state faces, he's followed all the modern Michigan at the end of November. But to get him back on campus for this game in September, you get a chance for him to spend more time with Larry Johnson. He must spend more time in the Gale Patrick than Ohio State defensive line commitment. Jim here, we'll be on campus to this weekend as
well to help your recruiting with Ace and just spend more time with him get to know him a little bit better. So Ace of Burch is the big defensive line in the know. He's really the biggest name to know on defense because I think personally he is the top 2028 prospect in the state of Ohio and it will be that way when it's all said and done. So it's going to be an uphill fight to keep from going to his father's all the modern Michigan. But the buckais are really putting in that effort to try making to get it done. And this evidence by getting my campus now and getting my campus here in a couple weeks for the Michigan game at the end of the season. Going back towards the secondary, Langston Prison is the name to know at a quarterback. Ohio is just going to have three really talented quarterback names on on campus. So this weekend for the Illinois game, Langston Prison, Troy Bishup, Nate Dallard from Chicago from Charlotte. So those are three names that I put Langston Prison on this list because he's visit Ohio State. I believe this will be his third time in the year of 2026. His mom and his aunt attended Ohio State. So he is technically a buckais legacy. His dad also coaches him down at the math high school and he has spent a lot of time around the domestic community. And he knows of Chase Young and some of the different Ohio State buckais that
have come from that area. So lots of family ties, buckais ties in the Langston Prison recruitment. That's why I've been able to get him on campus so many times. That's why Langston constantly talks up to Walton Macarrary Tyler Walton on the whole defensive back brain trust and group that recruits all these guys. Langston Prison has a good relationship with all of them. That's why he's visiting again for the Illinois game. And then with Troy Bishup, he's a modern day product. He attends like a modern day high school Ohio State's had their fair share of recruiting battles there. They haven't won a ton. Chris Henry Jr. being the one that they have won. Even though Troy was even a Chris was kind of a transplant into modern day, but they did get that one. So Ohio State's looking to go back to the modern modern day well and see if they get another one Troy Bishup. He earned an offer at campus summer. This will be his second visit. He's going to come with Jaylen Flowers who's below him on the list. We'll get to Jaylen in a second, but I do want to mention Nate Dollar. The four-star corner back out of Charlotte who has a high state fans don't really know a lot about. I think the buck guys do like him though and they offer them in May. This will be his first time on campus this weekend. Again, four-star from Charlotte since Providence Day School along with Ohio State wide receiver target, Braille and Clark. So Ohio State's recruited again that
that Providence Day School summer with modern day even though it's a different hour of the country. They've recruited Providence Day School a good bit over the years. They just haven't been able to get those same wins out of there. So Ohio State's going to try and get one with Nate Dollar. They're going to get one campus for the first time this weekend and see how things go. And then the last name on this list, Jaylen Flowers. Again, he's coming with Troy Bishop because they're both California guys that came together this summer when they came to Ohio State for a camp. I don't know exactly where Ohio State stands and the Jaylen Flowers were. But Jaylen's already taken a handful of visits. I believe he actually wasn't Texas for the Ohio State. Texas came. He was in LSU. I believe earlier is the season. So he's seen a lot of schools, been to a lot of places in Ohio State. We'll be the next staff for him. I liked when I saw him on my camp. I was hoping to see a little bit more, but I still think he's somebody that Macarrary and the rest of the Ohio State coaching staff really liked. So to be interesting to hear how things go with Jaylen Flowers, those are the big names. I don't pull up my phone real quick, but those six are 10, whatever. I just kind of touched on there are the big names on the list. I'm trying to think of any more. Commit wise, Ohio State is going to get Brady Edmonds from California out on campus this weekend. Good to get the quarterback back on campus. Jimmy Kales will be back as well. The four-star
offensive lineman, Pittsburgh, Jayden Carey, the three-star cornerback from St. Thomas Aquinas down on Florida. I've talked about Jaylen before. I think he's better than the three-star ranking as next to his name. So it's good to get him back on campus and make sure no other schools are sniffing around. Then you're talking about David Seaman being back. I believe Mason will be back. Angel of Smith, Jeremiah Smith, Jr. Brother, who's at the Restore Safety in the 2020-27 class. He'll be back as well. And I guess the overall big name to know that I haven't already touched on. I guess there's two, but I'll touch on though 2027-1. First is Trinard Roberts, the three-star running back from the state of Florida. Ohio State's been a hot and cold in that recruitment. I originally was going to visit, not going to visit. It's come back around that he is going to visit. I think the buck guys are setting the tone in that one. And it's going to be kind of up to them if they want to push forward with the commitment. We'll talk more about him later in our Ohio State stands in that recruitment. But he's the 2027-2.0. I should also mention that the four-star tie-dain, Theo Schott from the Zion's Bill in Dianna is going to come to campus as well this weekend. He's somebody that Ohio State would love to pair with Luke so high to who they already have
committed in the 2028 class. So that's the rundown. Those are many linen names. I imagine we'll have some pop-ups and different names that I haven't mentioned already. That'll make their way to campus. Brandon Nash is one that I haven't mentioned but he's coming from St. John Bosco. Another California native, four-California native is coming out for a big new kickoff and it's a big win for the buck guys. Like we're Ohio State stands in the Brandon Nash recruitment. So we have the full list over there. We have basketball recruiting. We have softball recruiting, different men's women's basketball recruiting tidbits over there. So go over, check out the full visitors. This will have that up on Friday morning. But we got a lot of it over on the Letterman Lodge message board right now. You can get all that content. You get all of it about what I'm writing, what berms writing, what outs, claimants writing, what Smith or Holbert's writing on the team side. You can get all of it for 60% off right now. That's a heck of a deal less than $5 a month to get over to Leaven Road and have all of our content, how all the premium access to the Letterman Lodge message board. So go over, check that out. I'm going to take a quick break to get a drink of water. We'll come back and answer three questions from the Letterman Lodge message board and we'll get on out of here. So one real quick break for me to get a drink of water.
All right, water in. Now we're going on to the Letterman Lodge questions that we pulled up. Then we have three of them here. Give me a second as I try and get these figured out. And we're going to talk about kind of just the different questions we got going on here. First one from our guy lost at sea. I believe we've had a question from him before. But here's his question today is who are who are the rising names out of Ohio pipeline schools, such as Glendville, Pick North and so on and so forth. Glendville-wise, I don't really know those guys typically come up throughout their sophomore year. So if there's any 2029, prospect, 2030 prospects, we'll get to know more this season. I was supposed to see Glendville or this season kind of change plan. So I don't know much about the Glendville pipeline. Pick North, however, I do know they have three 2030 prospects that I liked a lot. Jayden Priest, I believe his name, at Running Back. He's been really good for the Panther. So far to start this season, I liked him when I saw him against St. Ignatius earlier this year. Then you have Brock Schultz, who's a 2030 offensive lineman. Then I still want to see more development from, but he flashed when I saw him kind of got thrust into the lineup against St. Ignatius.
He's a basketball guy. So I think there's going to be a lot of schools that show interest in him. I want to be surprised at Ohio State. Gets him on campus at some point this season for a game day visit and Tyler Bowen gets him back to camp next year and the recruiting process of Ohio State Brock Schultz really picks up. And then Jayden Weaver is a 2030 linemaker from Pick North. He's a little bit of a tweener size wise. He plays kind of like a safety for the the Panthers right now. I think he's somebody that will eventually be a linebacker at the college level. And if that's the case, I think Ohio State could have some interest in him because he's going to just be get more of a shorter, smaller athletic speed linebacker. So I'll be interested to see if Tyler or if James Lord and I just said some of the Ohio State defensive coaches kick the tires on tires on Jayden Weaver. But those are the three 2030 names. I know at Pick North. And those are the couple of the pipeline schools and trying to rack my brain off the top of my head. Those are really the two pipeline schools that you mentioned, Glenn Villain Pick North. So I appreciate the question loss that see. Hopefully that got you some answers on some names to know. I want to pull up another question here from my guy, Kevin Quinn, who are some late risers in the 2027 class that we could see added.
This is an interesting spot because there's not a lot of positions in our corner. Out of quarterback, we know Trinard Roberts running back. We talked about Jordan Hall who I guess would have fit in this category maybe a couple of weeks ago. But he's already taking an official visit this past weekend, which went well more on that over on LetterMode.com. But Jordan Hall is the name, I guess I would fit in that category. They're good on offensive line. They're still looking for a tight end. I think this 2027 class I haven't heard of any names popped up. And I think that's going to be the case maybe at least for another couple of weeks. We'll see maybe if that Maryland game on October 10th of any 2027 pot tight ends pop up on campus defensive line. They're good at edge with the three edges they have. They don't not want to rock the boat with those three guys at all. So that's understandable. And then a defensive tackle. I think Ohio State's good with just taking Carlos made this cycle and maybe hitting up the transfer portal, making sure you keep the three freshmen that you have a before freshman that you have that you like. And just kind of figuring out as you put a lot of resources towards defense attack on the 2028 class, so you're not going to get another defensive tackle on 27. At least that's what I believe. And that's what I've been told here recently. Linebacker, I don't think the buck guys are really pushing for anybody at lineback
at the like one site for the like Prince me Prince coldsbee. Maybe if somebody popped up like a Braxton remember who lost his black stripe on Wednesday night, maybe somebody like that pops up at the end of cycle and you get can get him from a cost effective point and you can just kind of add depth to the room that works potentially. But a 2028 is another linebackers another position in 2028 where Ohio State's going to go all in to go get Taj Gray who was supposed to visit this weekend. But as since canceling a reschedule for the Oregon game. So we'll talk more about Taj Gray when the time comes for Ohio State's all in it. Taj for Taj Gray in the 2028 class at linebacker. And that's why I don't think we're seeing them expand the board a lot at linebacker in the 2027 class. Corner back, that's a spot where I could see some names pop up. I just haven't heard them really. Though the name that we know of that like I will be interested to see if he makes his way to campus at some point is Gabriel Osborne the Oklahoma commit who's from Oklahoma, but Ohio State was supposed to host for an official visit in June. Never did, but that just means that now is open for him to do at some point this season. If the sooners continue to struggle, can Ohio State get Gabriel Osborne on campus? I don't know, but I'll be interested to see if that finds out. And then it's safety.
There will be names that pop up. But again, that'll be a 2028 position as well with Casey Barnard, Gage Weddle. So the lot of these while we could see some 2027s pop up a lot of these positions where Ohio State might be lacking in the 2027 class. The buck guys look at it and go, okay, maybe we just push more resources towards the 2028 class, which makes sense, especially a defensive tackle lineback or safety. So I'm interested to see what happens there when it comes to names popping up as well, but I don't know many right now. So I know I didn't really give any questions there, but Jordan Hall is really the one that we know at this point. And that's a running back what we've talked about him pretty extensively. So it's not a late riser for say at this point. The final question here is for Dao Watt team. Does this weekend's visit by a Toronto Roberts feel more like a feeling out in checking in visit or is it or is it a this is our guy and we are closing this down visit. First blush, I'm going to say the form instead of the ladder. I think Ohio State still wants to do some work on Toronto Roberts and figure out how things stand in that recruitment. I think Carlos Lawson has done a lot of good work and a lot of relationship building with him already. But you know,
Mark Pantone Ryan Day, Tony Johnson some of the rest of the people around that will be around Toronto Roberts. Just get more time around and see how this recruitment feels to them. This one will be an unofficial visit from what I understand. So if you get Toronto Roberts on an official now, maybe the October 10th Gaming is Maryland, which is supposed to be a night game at this point, that's what we believe. Maybe that's a week and where you get Toronto Roberts up on campus for an official visit and see how things go then. But as of right now, I still feel this is more of a feeling out and checking in type of visit for Toronto Roberts. So, so it's sweet to the point there with that when I'm going to put myself back up on screen and tell you guys once again to please like and subscribe to the video. Thank you guys for watching this show. I appreciate everybody that tunes in. I hope that we're getting better sounding better as we go along. I do feel more comfortable doing these guys and I appreciate these shows and I appreciate you guys continuing to watch them. The positive feedback from the different commenters on the YouTube channel or different commenters on Twitter and whatnot that just speak highly of the videos and the recruiting content. We're going to continue to do more of them. Hopefully, this next week, we can get Steve Wolf falling on to kind of talk about the Ohio State Illinois visitor weekend and some of these other national
inciters over at Rivals. And we'll still continue to do these show those shows. We're going to get a better set up. I'll talk to Spencer and we'll get maybe a better background and everything. You just kind of do some different things. So, I appreciate you guys tuning into this edition of the Letterman Lodge podcast and we'll have another one next week. Every game day you show up for your team. Now, it's your time. Ask your prescriber about week OV, some Maglatide injection 2.4 milligrams, a GOP one.
