Hello, all you listening to Shagmone and Oil, please keep me anonymous. This week we're joined by three of my favorite brothers in the world. We've got Ryan, Scott, and Adam, also known as the Thomas Brothers. Love them. Absolutely love them. We had Ryan and Adam on our TV show back in the day, but we're all three of them in the room today. In the flesh. In the flesh. Even though Scott was late, I'll mention that through Gritney Teeth because he was tardy-tardy. They're on talking about their podcast at home with the Thomas Brothers. I mean, they are three hilarious lads. We always have a right laugh with them. I can only imagine how funny their podcast is. It's a weekly podcast. It brings listens into the heart of the Thomas family for unfilled conversations. Hilarious brotherly, brotherly, and stories that they don't usually get here. And if you absolutely love them and you want even more, you can get exclusive content and early access by becoming a bromy on their subscription service for the podcast. So check that out and enjoy the episode. It was our right laugh. Yeah. Find them out the jingle, jingle, jingle. We could set a lawn a jingle, jingle, jingle.
So this is the jingle, jingle, jingle. We hope you like the jingle, jingle. Babadoo, Babadoo, Babadoo, Babadoo. Bad. Jing-go. Jing-go. All right, do you know what he's northern? If he does lidspin off, he's time down south. So we've only got two Thomas Brothers. Yes. Scott's Journal. Scott, yeah, that's Journal. Again, sorry. Please, you're going to die. To explain to everyone watching or listening, we've obviously got the Thomas Brothers on. And Scott is the only one without children. And Rosie's very upset that someone without children dares to be late for anything. Because it's obviously the only burden in your life is your children. Oh, yeah. And you, obviously. I know. You actually caused us to be late there. You're the kids, Emma, do. Yeah, I do. But you blame it on the kids, right? You can't wish perfection. I remember years ago, when we only had one kid, I remember we were about to leave the house. I've said it before on the podcast, but we were about to leave the house for a day trip somewhere. And I said to Rosie, actually, I'm desperate for a shit.
I knew you got the toilet in your head. You know, just go later. And I was like, no. Yeah. You appreciate it. You need a shit. You need a shit. Fuck that's all shit's work. Yeah, yeah. You've got to go now. Ask any woman. Yeah. And I'll hate the turn this into a gender thing. Ask any woman. Ask your wife when you get home. If they were leaving, they were going to be late for somewhere and they had the kids and they needed a shit. They were just waiting. That's your homework, that's it. Yeah, go on. Ask your wife. That's the first thing that I'll do when I get home. That's that way. You've never seen your wife have a shit. No, no. That's a very good point, actually. I've never seen a wife have a shit. I don't know if you've seen me. Not from above. No, wait. Come on. My wife actually came into my room last night, hoping and puffing. I was like, what's up with you? She went, you've just pissed all over the seat and I've just sat in it. And I was like, I'm sorry, darling. I'm like normal. That's not a riffing. I mean, I don't know why I do this. I know I can't. I was pissed. You know, I do, I go, it was Roman blaming on the kids. Yeah. Yeah, she's not up here.
She's not up here. So you should never, should never be in the toilet in front of you? No, I was going to say she has been to the toilet. Yeah. But I've just never seen her actually sat in the toilet having a poo, right? I mean, we thought about this. I actually don't think we have. You think the best? What? You're actually kidding. You never see me, I've never seen you. No, because, because, right. No, I'll be cut. Right, OK. I don't want to just talk about shit all day, right? But as a woman... What should you have at the lifetime? As a woman, we sit down for the Lou anyway. And sometimes you guys don't sit down all the time. So when you sit down, that's when everything starts to move. So I'll say to you, I'll leave the door open or whatever if you're getting ready and I'll just have a way. But then... I've got to look. Of course it's just a way. And then you look, so it's... I don't know. I'm not sure the door will have to be open. Yeah, because I don't... Listen, I think some things have got to be... I don't want to watch this. No, I get that. I get that. But I did try the sitting down and wean. Oh, yeah. Because I wanted to help, right? Because I don't know what it is. I feel like my aim isn't the best aim in the world. I've got the intensities on the seat.
So I thought, right, I'm going to sit down and have a wean instead. I know a lot of men who do it. Well, the conflict... The conflict was a big advocate of the sitting down and wean. The conflict... The thing I've got is when I sit down and we... See, this is the thing. This is the thing. Love the way this podcast is going by the way. This is the thing. We've got a strong start, guys. All of the content. If you want more of this, listen to the Thomas Bro. Yeah. We talk about shit. Look, how have you been, man? We haven't seen you on our TV show. God, it feels like years ago now. I must have been 2022 or something. Is that how long ago it was? Yeah. I've got to be three or four years ago easily. Ruth was just one when we saw it. Yeah, what you guys in the first or second series, I can't remember. I don't know, but we said it briefly. I bought a mark in my opinion. I bought a mark in my opinion. That show, genuinely, it did put us on the map, like, because of that show, because we went on to that show. Like, it was the producers of 992B that watched that show and we're like, let's get the Thomas Bro. Love that. For an audition.
And then because of that, we ended up doing 992B together, which was incredible. And it's like, you always see the clips as well going around. Yeah. We good. You know what I mean? Yeah, we'll need to be that good. Oh, yeah. We went everywhere. Everyone always talks about that. We had the best fun. It's a great concept. You guys made up and you brought the best time. Yeah. You guys were meant like our fan base, we really loved you guys. What I do want to talk about is the incredible transformation of this young man here on my right here. I mean, you've already been torn up. I've been obsessed. I suppose he. I saw four of them getting out. You went on to some kind of retreat or something with, excuse me, doing a thing. Yeah. So Scott's got like a retreat that he does. Yeah. And yeah, basically just gets on the last together. We all go on this big retreat and we do like cold water exercises. Yeah, got it. It was amazing. Sort of video of you climbing out of a cold plunge. Yeah. And I had to go and get them on after pill. I was immediately pregnant. No, you know what it was. No, I've had the beginning of the year. No, I said to myself, like, I really wanted to get in shape for the first time in my life.
I really wanted to, you know, set a goal. Yeah. And work towards it and really locking. And I put on my vision board. I don't normally do vision boards. But I got as a huge advocate of vision. Manifestation. All of that. The secret. Have you read the secret? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I thought, yeah, what? I'm going to give it a go. And I did it. And I said, I want to put, I want to be on the front cover of a fitness magazine. Yes. And that was my goal. And it just so happened. It's been told. You know, four or five months later, I was on the front cover of men's fitness. So men's fitness, yeah. Yes. So I was absolutely buzzing with it. The problem that I've got now is all the way. It's all the way to come back on. Got you. Because people don't talk about how hard it, well, how easy it is after you've finished to go back to your old ways. Oh, yeah. And travel. Yeah. But we're getting back into the swing of things. And I'm, you know what? For me, I'm just happy that I set a goal and I stuck to it and I did it. Good for you. Because you had all your health kind of issues. Yeah. Yeah. So there's all that. So, I struggle with the Seratic Arthuritis. Yeah. And have done for about, well, for the past five years now.
But it's only recently, I think, in the last year or so that I finally found a medication that worked, which are my biologic injections literally changed my life overnight. An injection. An injection. Yeah, it's an injection. So I have it once every two weeks. The side effects are here and there. They're not too bad as the previous drugs. But it's just changed my life. I feel like I can move again and, you know, and I think because I found finally medication that works for me. And that's when I wanted to get back in the gym and, you know, do my transformation. Good for you. So it's been a long journey, but we're on the side. We're on the side. Again. I don't hell of a transformation. Thank you, man. Brian, what you've been up to, you're fucking conscious. Because I need to have gone so health like conscious all the time. Everything's going to go in the gym. I'm like, I'm just going to go on the pitch. Yeah. I'm going to go on the way. Brian's always got a red light. I'm going to respect your board. I'm on doing this. Not about balance. Not about balance, right? I'm not, I've been all three was talking about manifesting and, you know, going to the gym and, like, doing journals and shit.
I'm just like, I just want to do a podcast about fucking, I'm getting on the pitch. Yeah. Right all this says, can we not just get pissed on the podcast? Yeah, like, they're just, they just, they both go out and eat you a little bit. And I think fucking, I like your board. Yeah, Scott's been rubbing off on me, aren't they? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, he has a bit of, like, he's been rubbing off on me. Brian, when he's gone. Yeah, Brian, like, hi guys. I think you could quite easily go down that 100%. Yeah. Oh, which route? The fitness health on that. All right, go for it. I'm fully on the pitch. I could 100% go down that. Yeah, I've got the core plunge. Yeah, but I'm like, come on now. And she'll be like, why are you playing that? Yeah. The core plunge, which is, you know, you've got the balance. I've got, I think I like trying to have a good balance, but I literally could be, I could be the guy who, I mean, I have four days below it. I'll drink and I'm like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then you want to go out and piss and celebrate. Yeah, yeah. No problem. That is the problem. And the right nodes in the right direction of, come on, Chris, just, just called plunge, everybody didn't do this. Yeah. Yeah, I, I, I get quite obsessed with stuff.
Yeah. Everyone listens to the podcast or no. Um, you know, it was me bike. And then it was jujitsu. Now it's golf. I'm banging the golf like, like, it will be like an illness. Yeah, I do, I go through phases though. Like it is. Like, you do. Is that his idea? Yeah, I think it might have to be. I get into everything. I get into everything, like, golf. I mean, 110%. I'm going on two. clubs in the bag like in in the car like I'm on I just the tour is essentially just a golf trip with some gigs on a night Yeah, all this happens to be a minute The golf's like four and a half hours long isn't it? Yeah, so how do you get away with that life? I would be some going off four and a half hours How was that working your house? Why being like this? I know, yeah I'm just going to go right in the front of the bus No it's um it's four and a half hours if you're shite I know, it's three and a half hours if you're alright Both our kids are at school now Yeah, so it's kind of like a weapon You don't go to weekends and you have your DAS at your set I'm going on a Sunday morning or Saturday morning I wouldn't do it No, I wouldn't do it
But I was sitting there day at all me hobbies They're getting longer and longer I used to go for like 45 minute bike rides Then I was going to Jiu-Jitsu for like two hours Now I got a golf for like three and a bit hours And I have to take up like five day cricket test matches What is it? What do you want to do now? No, no, I'm saying that'll be what's longer What's possibly longer? 10 years time, you know Chris, what do you do for a hobby? I just fucking sealed the Atlantic twice a week I love it It's my one shove kids now though, like Even going to the gym, I'm like Can I go to the gym? Or can I go for a game of puddle? I'm like when's my life got to the point where I've got to ask permission for things I don't really want to do Yeah, yeah, yeah I don't really want to go to the gym Yeah, what I'm having to ask is like I'm going Oh, Jima, I forgot on the pitch I'm going to do something that I'm not really looking forward to doing But I've got that permission to go in there Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah It's crazy, because you've got a run this house I mean, how many kids you got? I've got three that I know about Spam it And you've got two I've got two Yeah, it's that thing
There's just take up so much time and it's brilliant But it is, it's like If you're not at all a soul of a man You do have to see it your partner Look, is it okay if I do this Are you all right with them for a little while and vice versa? We, I think we shared quite well Oh, oh, oh, you're wearing Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, sorry Oh, sorry Oh, sorry Oh, I can't believe a ball This is like the door, what's the whole thing experience or again, won't it? Yeah, it's just in late Yeah, that's not bad Honestly, where do you mean ridiculous? Oh, I'm so sorry But it's been worth it though Well, you mean I'm just, I'm a boat's point I'm about to publish my first book. And then I'm so happy that the publishers now, and it was like a big moment, see my cover for the first time. Oh nice. Apparently it works on your book as well. Right? One of the girls who's there. Which one? Oh, me too. I'm not a big one. Which book? Oh, I'm a stonmin' It's me. Which book? Which book? Which book?
Yeah. I was just editing there. No, I'm so sorry guys. No, I don't think so. Which book? Which book? Which book? Which book? Which book? Yeah. I'm not a book. Yeah, I'm not a book. No, I'm so sorry guys. It's alright. Don't, thanks for coming Scott. I've not started until I get here. Babadoo, babadoo, babadoo, babadoo, babadoo. This episode is brought to you by Nordstrom. Basically, like these two, to now being a normal human being. No, to being normal. To being not normal. No, no, no, no. It's all about becoming your true self. For me, like my biggest superpower has been my authentic self. And I never realised that. All my life, I was trying to be like somebody else. And so this book is all about figuring out what's blocking you. Nice. I saw them giving you a lot. It's lovely. Are you still journaling? I am still journaling. Nice. A lot. Wait, wait. This is...
I don't want to let you in this secret. We're jealous of your life. Oh, really? I watched you and do a video, seeing Get Up and Five of a Clot and Journal, and do all these different things. Now, when you see the fucking time this prick's got on his hands. Yeah. I hate him. I was like, I hate him. No, wait, it's not my time. This man has. Oh, it's good though. You look like you've got a good life. Oh, there's a second person who said this to you. Yeah, you've got a glow up. He's had a glow up. He's had a glow up. He's had a glow up. He's had a glow up. He's had a glow up. He's had a glow up. He's had a glow up. He's had a glow up. He's had a glow up. Just realizing I'm 40 and realizing, guess what, mate? You're going to have to start putting a bit of fucking effort in. Otherwise, your kids are going to have kids, and you're not going to be able to lift the bastards up. Yeah. You're not going to have to. You're not going to have to use that. That's what I'm saying. You're not going to have to use that. No, but I think the glow up is because you really didn't use to look after yourself. No. I didn't eat well. I think I introduced vegetables to you. Yeah, yeah, I was not a vegetable guy. No. And since then. You know, yeah, yeah. But you're not like men. You're like a sober.
I was quite a sober glow up. It looks like you're drinking less. Oh my god. Yes. We didn't drink last week for four days. Yeah. No. Wow. Wow. No, that's for us. We were literally like, we were like, we changed people. So we were like, we're just like Scott. In all honesty, you know, in all honesty, we've got it. You're not bad at it. Yeah. Yeah, but before that, we've done about 60s on the bell, because we're weddings and all kinds of stuff. But we've got a wine guy in this place in May, if they're called hedonism wines. He's called James. He's a legend in the name of James. Love you. Love you, guys. And he sends word wine out all the wine off him and he sends it up. And we've been drinking a lot less in the house. And he genuinely got in touch with us if I was alright. That's for sure. I was worried about you. He's having no came out to have an heard from you. I was like, yeah, I just haven't drank. I just haven't been drinking that much. Just a million. We're drinking a lot less in the house. We went through a stage. Absolutely. K-ing in the house just right now. Not that not on the bad way. So what you've told, our drinking isn't like getting, going out, getting pissed me.
You're doing it. Everybody's trying to explain themselves to it. Stop it. Stop it. He had his finger, he's popular, but it was wagon. We'll be a chapter in his book, go and don't be like the Ramsey. No, we just love sitting in the house, watching the telly. Having a glass of wine. Oh, really? It's like, I'll go ask you a glass of wine then. Glass of wine, yeah. I've got Jeremy Clarkson's Hawksdon on one of the BM machines. Nice. You know, I had that Hawksdon at Lager. No, no, no. Oh, no, no. Oh, no. He wears the birch. Oh, with a birch. He wears a hawk. Yes, it's a hit. We never drink like at home on our own, like just watching TV and you know. No, that's the only place that I really do drink now. Oh, really? Just one. Like, literally the odd one. Cut to my mother. Two years done. And everyone always says, you know, I want to stop drinking. And everyone always says, you know, you need to stop drinking. You need to stop going to the places where you have a drink. And like, well, that fucking drink. I live in New York. I'm quite happy now. That's a good... Maccic in Ireland. You were, yeah. But you were your Manchester party boys. You were on the, you were on the telly.
You were your lads. We were living in a fucking dream. Yeah. Yeah. We were Jason Grimshaw's brother. Yeah. Honestly. You know you guys... We were 50 years old. You know the best club in Manchester. It was, it was the dream. It's that off was the dream. Of course, I just couldn't stop. I forget too far. But yeah, we lived like fucking rock stars. Yeah, but honestly, well done. I recognize it. I appreciate it. People say to me, oh, you just grew up. I said, listen, there's a lot of people now who've not managed to break out the cycle because just the cycle's not all that people know. So the fact that you guys have got a grip on it, it sounds like it's rare. We know when we're doing it. We know when it's like, it's some people, it's not for everyone. It's not a long term thing that you can keep doing it. It'll affect everyone differently. And what? I feel like it's time as well. You only realise when you get older and you look at all the, yes, you have fun, but all the years that you wasted as well, all the days that you were hungover, especially when you got kids and family now. You know, nothing worse than being hungover with the kids. You wouldn't wish it on your worth then and then.
Right, it's got so quiet. Right, it's like, this is terrible. Just honestly being hungover with the kids. If I know I've got the kids the next day, especially if I've got my morn, I'll fucking call it and I, but I am, cup of beer as in a curry. Right, I'll be honest with you. I'm the boring one. I'm the boring one where the rest of them we've got, let's go club and I'm going. We'll fucking check my kids here. Right, he's the guy that puts his phone. This is the best story he's ever seen. This fucking gun me right. Right, right, no, when I say, this is when I was single on my own, I say, I just love being off my phone, I put my phone away, yeah, it rang, it goes, I'm the same. I've got to wipe beef up and I put my phone in the safe. I didn't know, I didn't look at it for two days, I went, you've got to wipe and kiss. No, what are you? There's context in this story, right? So what we have a stand-in and I heard the time going on. People were losing the phones. And like five people lost the phones. I was like, I can't afford to lose this phone so I put it in the safe for 24 hours. And then I was like, I can't pay for anything either. So I was like, I was asking, ask people to go, where you go to the bathroom?
I felt like a bit of a scoundrel asking people to get me a drink all the time. So I had to start bringing out, but I was just always like scared about it. Do you know what it is though? I feel like every time Ryan goes away, Lucy calls him. As soon as he's like his feet have touched him. Lucy, he'll get a call. As Lucy goes in, Roma's been rushing to hospital. Oh, but when he's like, he's like, he's in the same thing every time in it. And he's not even hospital. Yeah. We have. This is the one in trouble, good time. Oh no. She's got a ton of new fucking room into my game at Golf yesterday. Oh, room. Who on tell me room and box to do? I do not know, it's just about to say. I was just about to say, we don't ring each other. When we're away, we're very, when we go to bed, it might be like night. You know what I mean? I'm not saying it's a big time. We are quite good. We don't ring, because I'm just like, I don't need to know. And I don't want to ring you when I'm having a really good time with my mate. No, do you know what I mean? If something happens with the kids, you'll ring as, you know, where I'm staying, bloody blah, just if I'm busy. Well, that's being an amazing thing.
Because my amiss is really values a good morning text. It's so important to her. Yeah. And I like to journal in for not to talk to my phone to like 10 in the morning. So that causes a few little problems because she wants the good night text in the morning one. So I think that's interesting that you guys don't, I've had to catch up with it, but. Yeah, well, we've been married for like 12 years as well. Like back in the day, I would want a good morning text. I would want a good night text. We used to speak all the time, but now even if I'm like, I just want some morning coffee and make the fuck off out the room. I would have roomed your golf. Oh, sure. That's a big off. Yes, see, someone the first part five of the course, one of the most difficult holes on the course. I'm on me, we're done. Ah, yeah. I just stopped off me shot and then I'm walking up a hill and she phone does. If you check all these messages, so we get from the social media team and stuff, we get the clips to send out for the podcast. And we've got a thing of clips. So we get four or five clips and we've got to all here them and decide which one's going out. Yeah, yeah. Anyway, I told the lad, the lad's were laughing at what you said actually. So I was like, I'm walking on the hill. What's about, I'm from the golf course, what's wrong? But why don't I say, I want to walk on the fuck and hill.
I've just left me shot. I'm pissed off. I say, what is it? Next, we've got watched the videos. But I'm playing golf. And she went, what are you? A professional golfer? Or was this a hobby in you? Just check your fuckin' phone, what one's. I won't ring your back. But is it a finger on my mate? Like I tried and get in touch with my mate and he's always playing golf. But apparently they don't. You don't pick up your phone when you play golf. Yeah, well, you don't, if you keep your foot, you've kept doing a nine on a par five. But I was at work, doing a different job. And you were just playing golf. You should have actually... Okay, you should, You're just kidding! So sometimes this has to be like, sometimes the guest just has to sit while there's a tub of bed. You have a page, yes, you have a page. You don't know? You don't know? No, we might hear someone, might see me walking. I've got a fresh naturally. Like, does it work working with your partner? Does it look like a... No, no. Well, well... Oh, you know, of course, my...
My, my Mrs is like, amazing at social media and for now, we've just got together in the first year of our relationship and I'm like, I really want to work with her. But then I've heard like horror stories as well. Yeah. So, just watch you guys like, watch it like... In all honesty, drugs aside, I think we've fucking nailed it to be fair. Yeah, really, really. But I just... I don't want to get too sobby in front of ears because there's still... No, go ahead, I can't. We love sobby. Come on, come on. I just feel like we were meant to be together. Yeah. I feel like we get on well, I do. And I just... It is. And I just... I just... I don't know. We can laugh stuff off and we're both quite... We've got the chops of being like live season performers. She's done Lord the Live stuff back the day I've obviously done stand up. So when it comes to sort of doing this together, we can easily bounce off each other. It was... Like, I've done Lord the stuff with other comics and other people. And it wasn't until we started doing stuff together, especially the live shows where it's like, oh, fucking hell, she's fully got my back here. Like, and even when we're trying to stop... You guys don't have that stuff. You guys don't have that stuff. You've got my FFG, all the laughing stuff.
A song I haven't been back yet. Yeah. Yeah. You've got sense to when you're in stage, what do you mean? In a sense of, you shall never like trample on anything I'm saying. You shall never try and make herself look funny other than me. And I'll never do that to her. We're like, we're each other's like, biggest cheerleader. And I think that's the point I'm getting at around the houses here. If you can get on and work together. But then as long as you properly, you want the other one, I always want her to do better than me. And she always wants me to do better than her. That's right. Yeah, go on. Do you know what I mean? I really like that. Well, I was talking more about proximity. Like if you're with each other that much. And then you get home. And then when you're at home, you're still talking about work. And then for now. So you've got, so we learned, it's probably about three or four years in the way. Yeah. We were like, we cannot talk about work in the house. Okay. So we don't, we just don't like, we used to like sit around the kitchen table. I'd be making dinner, we'd talk about work. And then it would just turn in the... No, I was talking first thing on the first thing on the moment. First thing on the moment. So they say, if I'm yesterday, they'll be like, no. So sometimes like the guys who will be there. Sometimes in light ball moments, they'll come to you while you're doing the team.
You think, I've got to get this off the check. We've got it with our team. And I think, we know that we're really about it this. We'll have a light ball moment at like 10 o'clock at night. And we'll start texting the team. And we're like, this isn't a working time. Yeah, yeah. But it's like, that's when the magic comes sometimes. But all men, you just want to knock it down and then bring it up. Yeah. But like, that's what we do. We like... Very, very talk about that. Like I say, the team sometimes get annoyed because they'll... Not annoyed, but they're like, why are you taking so long to respond to this and asking? Even something like travel logistics. We can't sit on a moan and have him coffee and talk about what's the travel logistics for next week for the day. It's a fucking nightmare. So you just got to wait until we're in the studio or in an office and we'll sit and we'll get it all out there. And we sit and go through a diaries together every day. Top of four fucking days to do it. Because it was like, how come we... It was just some holidays. How come we sit and go through that? I don't know. I don't know if it's really boring to people, but that's... That you've just got it. It's not got to be the whole time. There's got to be almost rolls and... It might work, but it might not work. I think we've just hit LuckyWare. And I really like working with you. I wish I could say this here about these two.
Again, this even doing this podcast with these two. I don't know what it is for you. It's the same thing, but it's definitely brought us closer together. We know each other inside and out more so than we ever have done. That's the best thing that we've... We have the conversations we have. We would never use that often. Oh, really? So it's open-up comes in. It's a therapy. Yeah. And you've got no phones, so you're not on your phones. A couple of hours, we're just finding out things, mate, that we wouldn't really go as far as... And it's actually... Yeah, it says... I mean, we've had a few blow-ups though. Oh, yeah, yeah. I was fucking brilliant. After the podcast. How dare you fucking say that? It was really boring. So let me tell you a story, mate. I mean, we all had one big blow. One big blow. It wasn't involving me, so that's why I'm fucking... Yeah, no, the middleman. Yeah. Oh, okay, is that the dyno? So as brothers, we all know each other's buttons now, which I think is like an art form. It's only the last few years. It took a while, didn't it? It took us like 35 years when we go.
Right, I've got a little bit too far. So we're like, picking each other's buttons out. But anyway, we did a podcast. What was it over there? It was an hour ago. And anyway, the podcast was all right. But then something must have got triggered between you two under the radar. And then the start off, they just started off like chill. They were talking after the podcast. And then he just got a little bit like, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Bear in mind, the whole team's watching, yeah. The team's there. And it's all on camera. It's all on camera. But the best thing is after the big argument, I've walked out, Adam's gone, did you get that guy? Well, I'm sure he got out of Adam's. And Adam's got these gates he can't get out of. So I'm thinking, I can't get out. And I've got a ring up, that's for the cold. So I'm trying to press this cold, I can't get out. So then I go, I'm going to have to climb over. But as I climb over, the back leg doesn't completely get over. So I've just landed on the car, I've just on the other side of the gate. And they've got cameras looking in it. They've got all this. And Caroline's going, there's something up in there today. And I'm going, I'm going, I'm going, I'm driving home. And I've got my shoulders in agony.
And Adam's ringing me. Because I'm one of those that like to squash it there and then. Same. Do you want to mean? We're having an argument. And especially when we're telling to come down. Look brothers, I'm like, I'll sit on it for a day. I need time. Because you're not going to get the best you actually know. Exactly. I need to think of something. I need to think of something. I need to think of something. You said one of left. Or do you want to just let me calm down and I'll come back to you. And I'll have to die straight away. Straight away. Straight away and all day I was calling you one hour. Oh, it was annoying me even more. Well, come on, we'll skip the end here. So basically it was a massive, it was like a big, it was just a massive blow. I've not seen this in years, right? So it was just weird. But it's just more than the team was there. And all the team was so polite. They were like, yeah, I don't know. Guys, you just want to walk outside. It's really easy. You're up to the start out and then next thing Brian gets offered and this is what we're like though. The next thing Adam's like crying to me. Like obviously like he's got it because he's upset he's preferring. And we don't we don't like it. We just hate all of the things about you know what you know it's a whole life. Yeah. If I have a good argument with Scott or Adam, I go to sleep like with the worst. Like a break up.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do you know what I mean? That's it for you. I can't do it. I need to be when we've had an argument. I need to know that we are still best friends and still in love before I go to bed. Otherwise this is a fucking name it. I'm soft as shit. I'm terrible at arguing with her. I just want it to be over. It's actually like I don't like arguing with it. It's like arguing with a puppy like it's really bad. It's just it's just like doesn't fight. I'm like fight back. So I look like such a bitch. Yeah. It's fine. Babadou, Babadou, Babadou, Babadou, Babadou, Babadou. This episode is brought to you by Nordstrom. For 125 years, Nordstrom has been part of your story. Right, you guys have got a question or a story or something. Okay. Or is it all split up? Okay. We all got a little bit of it. Okay. Dear Chris and Rosie, please keep me anonymous. A while back, I was a coach tour guide spending weeks away across Europe. Prior to this, my best mate and I started a podcast where we talked quite frankly about various topics. I had just returned from a 36 day trip. My longest time away from my girlfriend since we'd become serious. So naturally, we were very happy to be reunited.
That evening, things progressed as you might expect. It was a hot summer night, so the windows were open. And just as we were approaching the climatic moment, a very drunk man wondered past our second floor window, cheerfully singing and incredibly, incredibly out of tune song. Okay. Oh. Imagine this. Imagine this. Imagine this. Imagine this. Put them off. Carry on right. This completely ruined our concentration at the time we thought he'd finally disappeared. Another verse would begin. Eventually, he passed out of air shot and we managed to resume. Of course he did. Thankfully, we still achieved a successful finish. Nice. Well done. The next day I recorded my podcast with my mate. He asked how my return had gone and how things were going with my girlfriend. Naturally, I told him the entire story, right? In considerable detail. A week later, my girlfriend casually mentioned that she'd listened to that episode.
This was unusual as she didn't normally listen to the podcast. She gave me a look and I immediately remembered what I'd said. I apologise profusely and try to reassure her that our audience was tiny and mostly made up with strangers. She dropped the bombshell. She'd only listened because my mum had told her about the episode. Yes, my mum had listened to the podcast. Her and me discussing our sex life and apparently decided the appropriate response was to message my girlfriend and make sure she knew about it. Oh no. I mean, we've been in situations like that a few times. Oh, I'll tell you that, mate. Because you just love talking about sex on the podcast. I mean, I don't know. It's just my life. Oh, really? It's not my fucking life. It's not my fucking life. Like me. Before life. I saw this clip. The clip was because you were doing all the mixes. Do you have sex all the time? No, wait, I wouldn't say we have sex all the time. But I like to talk about sex. My life on the podcast. Sometimes what me and the mixes together. I'm Adam Swinbueva. I never knew until this podcast how kinky he was. I know. I can't even look Caroline in the eyes.
Because we love Caroline. Caroline's like a sister. They're talking about dresses. They're the worst ones. They're sweeteners and ones the other worst. Yes. I mean, I do. I mean, Kaz does tell me a lot not to talk about the things that I've been talking about because. But she doesn't listen to the podcast. So I just seem to think that what I say on the podcast, she's not going to listen to it. No, we've got this little trick now where we go. Can you just, I said to team, can you not put these in the clip? In the clip. I wear the people that clip it up. Really? And then that's when she sees it. And then that's when I get a ball of the skin. Right. Because I can't, I sometimes just give a little bit too much information. We're not rages and my Mrs. Mum listens to the podcast like an avid listener. Oh, see. But then you have to forget about that. Yeah. Because we obviously we've been doing it for years. And I talk about like having a wide on and everything. Oh my God, you don't. I do. Oh my God. Oh, that's the end. I know. You're the title of the actual podcast. Yeah, yeah. What is a wide on?
What's a wide on? It's a little female, stiffy. A wide vagina. What is that? The sister, it's a phrase. Is that a phrase? Does it happen? I thought you were. We've said some weird shit on that podcast, but wide on the field. Why? It's a lot of realism as well. It's a, it's a, it's a northern things. I have to get a wide on. Get a wide on. It's a bit of a wide on. If it's sort of right. I can't believe it. I can't believe it. A girl can say it or we couldn't say that. You know when you were younger. Yeah, I mean, is that a big sense? Even now, if someone's getting, if you're like, I don't know, you're, you're new watch. You're banging on a boat, you're new watch. And you're like, oh, go on, have a fucking, I'm not going to watch. You're watching, will you? Girls would see, you know, oh, go on, have a wide on. Really? Like, oh, you get a wide on about him. It would be like, oh, you're getting too. Right. Okay. But what I'm trying to get to the bottom of it, does this actually happen? I think the trainers do open. Really? Yeah. Really? Right. Okay. That's interesting. So I'm just getting a little bit. So you're a little dirtbag. I've just got a lot of dirtbag. I just like to make love now. Yeah. No. I like to make love. I like to make love. Yeah. It is a problem now because I've actually said to Lucy's mum, please do not watch the podcast.
Yeah. Yeah. Because I don't even like swearing for the, like, she's like the queen. Right. There's a certain way you act around it. Yeah, really. So if she saw a podcast, it would really see a difference side of me and my family. And I don't want to have that one. Yeah. But it's funny though, because when we started podcast, I was single. And these two after every episode would be like, whoa, whoa, I don't know if we can put this in. But I know what the miss is. And now I've got a missus. Yeah. I've been on a little dog walk with her and she'll mention, oh, I saw a clip. And I'm like, and I'm like, what was it? Right. And now I'm starting to feel what they feel like, like, because nothing's safe basically. Yeah. And you're so comfortable with each other. Yeah. But in your forgetfulness system. Yeah. I'm starting to feel the pressure now that I've got to be a bit careful about what I say. Yeah. I've walked out the door before yesterday morning, folding the podcast and Lucy said to me, can you just not talk about me the podcast today? Oh. I've got nothing else to talk about. Yeah. How's the lifestyle going? Yeah. When things happen in life now. And Kaz always says to me, don't talk about this in the podcast. Yeah. But it's just hard not to because it's like, I'm like, get me notes out of you.
Yeah. Yeah. That's actually going to be a great clip. That's a good question. Do you two sleep in the same room? Currently, no. Currently, no. Oh, wow. That's what I'm talking about. I'm with my boyfriend, Ruth. He's five. Oh, I've got to be in the childcare. I'm going to say this. Literally. Like, Ruth calls her bed his bed. bed his bed. I went to our room and I'm like really like no we're gonna sort it out. We miss out I really miss sharing the bed every night and we're gonna we're gonna get a big thing because Ryan thought it's about a podcast and he got played on this morning it was it or something. Oh there's a big tub of conversation like so many people did. I think it is healthy. I do think it's healthy. Like for me, sharing a bed is for one thing only. Yeah yeah. Yeah. Puddles. I can have a little fart. I can have a little good. Think of that. Also it is there's a kid who does shows. Okay. Yeah, the kids sleep in bedrooms with that if he went and I empresa? Right. Yo, going in powdered does it I am I'm
probably 14 yea. I'm bored with their and he knows. When I overcoming扫 complex smell like a vagina but carry on I do So, not what's called that, it was called the... Yeah, it was that. I see you do it, okay, I can understand that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've listened, I think, however anyone wants to live their life and whatever works for their relationship, that's them. People think we're mental because we do this together and they're like, how do you do that? And I'm like, well, we find it quite healthy, and it's fine, and my little boy currently gets terrified sleeping in his own room, so I'm like, well, sleep with me, you know? I've got the rest of our lives to sleep together. Exactly, when our children are like eight, eight, and 20, they're not going to want to climb in the bed with my mum and dad. You know? And I'm not going to want them to, it's going to be fun. We're here. But the one who now for a little cuddle, why the hell? I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't need vase working because we're not getting on that well anyway. Get back in, baby. Maybe that's being going wrong.
No, but we've been on holiday and we've had to stay in the same bedroom, and it's like, and then I've creaked in, I've seen it yesterday, I've creaked into the main bedroom. There it is. I've creaked in there and I said to the floor, I got in there, I felt awkward. And I went, thanks for letting me come in your bedroom. Well, I didn't say you can come in here and I was like, well, okay, so I just got the pillow, but it was, she has a pillow, like three pillows. I know the ones there, the ones everywhere, and I'm out anyway. I know when all I'm pillow starts surrounding, I'm out, I'm nothing at night. Pillow pissing me out. Yeah. Listen, we'll have to go.
