Find hot savings for cold days at Kimmastwarehouse like Go Healthy Magnesium Glacinate, 120 veggie capsules now 29.99, save 10, and save 25% on a less-to-plus protective wrist stabilizer only 44.99. Kimmastwarehouse, great savings every day. He's got more stats than your year 12-elder pretincter. It's random stats, guy. RAPA-NATI! 24 away from 5 o'clock, Melzian guy on Sport Nation. It is that time of the week where we catch up with Rando, who is with us on the line, Rando. Good to chat to you, mate, let's start with the one that, well, certainly in this country, we all have our eyes on, and that's the all blacks against the Walla B's. Is your mob got a chance of finally winning this couple? What? I think the word from around town is there's plenty of hype here, obviously coming into it after beating a very strong South African side with just 11 men with nothing to kind of push off.

They're on fire at the moment, our Walla B since Les Kis has taken over. Unbeaten in six straight games. We haven't gone seven games, unbeaten since 2017. So plenty of optimism here for Walla B's fans. They think that this might be the year that they can finally break that Eden Park drought. But of course, there's no better time to play the all blacks than when they've lost three games in a row. The last time they've lost four games in a row was all the way back in 1998. They're definitely going to be up for this one. Of course, there's that Eden Park record day. Have won their last 53 or unbeaten, shall I say, in their last 53 test stayed in back to 1994. Australia's drought at Eden Park goes even further back than that, going all the way back to 1986. They've also lost their last 11 tests against New Zealand, the Walla B's. So there'll be plenty of stats against them, but they've just been slowly breaking the stats off. So hopefully we can see a Walla B's win, but I know I'm on New Zealand radio.

So my gut tells me the all blacks might get the chocolates in this one. Rando, this take you to Fonga Rae in the NPC where Tasman travelled north to take on Northland. Absolutely. The first time Northland will host a home final as a Div1 NPC team. So great news for them. Unfortunately, the finals record for both these teams aren't pretty viewing Tasman have lost four straight finals. Northland have just won one of their last six finals, but the home ground advantage should favor Northland here. They are unbeaten in seven of their last eight games at Seminoff. They've also beat Tasman there earlier this season by 10 points. If Tasman wanted to do anything, it is to look to their winger here. Tomois for now obviously set a season record with his four tries last week against Waikato getting him to 18 for the year. He has 100% stri-crate on Friday nights and might be the best triscorer in an underdog team. What about North Harbour taking on Tarnaki?

That feels like perhaps the most even of the quarter finals this weekend. Absolutely. Recessy record favors Tarnaki. They won their last three games against North Harbour. North Harbour themselves, they're looking for their first home finals since 1994. So that stretches back to the last time. The All Blacks lost at Eden Park. But they do have a good record against Tarnaki at North Harbour. They've only lost twice to them since 2006 at the venue. So hopefully they can get the job done. Tom Baham, he started the season on the wing. He started with a double in each of his first two games. The wingers have been rocking it for North Harbour. Only one game that a winger hasn't scored from North Harbour this whole season. So he looks the goods to get over the line. Otago take on Hawks Bay. And many on the street, a sign Hawks Bay have been living in a false economy having won these first six games against the Lisa teams. Yeah, fair enough. I mean, there will be up against it against an Otago team who love playing at home.

They've won 10 of their last 11 games. However, it has been Hawks Bay who have dominated this fixture against Otago winning seven of their last eight meetings, including an 11 point win earlier this season. Although the away record in Finals for Hawks Bay is one to note, they have lost. They are so winless in the added their last 10 away finals. Whilst Otago last season, we saw them drop 40 points on each of their opponents at Forsype Park come Finals time. So it could be Otago shining the light there on Hawks Bay. And if they are to do that, Lucas Casey, his streak of tries for the season ended last week. But I reckon he gets back on the scorer's board this week of trying each of his last four home games and he scored in both games against Hawks Bay too. Yeah, he's a good footballer. Right. The last one is Canterbury against Waikato and the odds are saying it's going to be one sided. Are the stats saying the same thing or... I believe so. I mean, Canterbury, they came home with a wet sail

winning five straight games whilst Waikato. They lost four of their last six games to finish the season. But it's all about the home ground advantage here for Canterbury. They have won 18 of their last 19 home finals. They have won four of their last five home games against Waikato too. John Arova here is the man to look at in the centres there for Canterbury. Here's a 100 cent strike rate at one New Zealand stadium scoring in all four games this season. So maybe look at him if you're looking for a try scorer. And I'm going to put you on the spot here but any early stats around the rugby league World Cup perhaps? I mean, the Kiwis, they announced a very impressive team. They have the best, the most experienced test squad out of all the teams there. So out of all the international games, they've combined the most. They're looking really good. Their first game up against the Australian side who have won their last six test matches, but they can be very vulnerable, particularly in the first game. So I think the Kiwis are a really good chance here to shake up the competition.

I'm surprised they're not World Cup favourites because if they get going and they're half start clicking early, particularly with word around that KPM might be in there with Jerome Hughes to scary prospect for anyone and Tonga. Can't look past them as well. They've named a really good team for this one. Great World Cup experience as well. They might shake up the competition as well. Good stuff. Very much looking forward to that and the weekend of sport, mate. Thank you. As always for joining us. Enjoy it all. What's coming in the next few days? We got the NFL still going on.
