Ravens Lose Stars, Gain Draft Picks, Ex-Players Seek New Homes

The Baltimore Ravens have lost eight starters and key contributors this offseason, including

an all-pro punter and a dynamic tight end.

They lead the league with four compensatory draft picks for next year, tying the Eagles

and Steelers.

To offset the departures, the team made a big move by signing defensive end Trey Hendrickson

to a four-year deal.

Now in the second phase of free agency, 14 former Ravens remain on the open market.

Veterans like 35-year-old guard Kevin Zitler, who ranked 11th among guards last season

per pro football focus, could still bolster Anne, offensive line with his reliable past

protection and Iron Man streak of 15 plus games every year since 2015.

Fans and analysts note the Ravens' knack for turning losses into draft capital, but

the roster shake up stings after years of building through the draft.

Wide receiver Marquis Brown, a former first-round pick, just signed a one-year deal with the

Philadelphia Eagles, catching 49 passes for five.

DeAndre Hopkins, the 13-year vet, insists he wants one more season despite career low

stats as Baltimore's third option.

Other standouts include six-time pro-bowl defensive tackle, Calais Campbell, now 39, and

eyeing his 18th year, plus quarterback Joe.

Jadebi Enclowne brings his eight-and-a-half sacks from Dallas, while cornerback trade

Davias White had ten past deflections.

Back-up quarterback Ty Rod Taylor, and running back Raheem Moster, round out the group, with

several special teamers and depth pieces like Safety Chuck.
