0:00Good morning from the Fairbanks Museum in St. John'sbury. This is the eye on the sky recreational forecast. A transitional day today we're starting out fairly mild and some areas of dense fog that will give way to increasing amounts of sun. It'll be cooler with increasing northwest winds, temperatures ranging from the low 60s to low 70s north to south this afternoon and the winds increasing and gusting to 25 miles per hour. Going into tonight, a fairly chilly night, there will be some clouds later at night keeping the temperatures from dropping any more but still looking at mid 30s to mid 40s so cool start to the day tomorrow. Then tomorrow itself any fog burning off to sunshine, a pleasant but cool day, upper 50s and 60s, Sunday a different story clouds and then some periods of rain moving in. It'll be steadiest from route two and south. For hikers, the mountain forecast features some clouds this morning giving way to increasing sun this afternoon, northwest winds 20 to 35 miles per hour, gusting over 60 on Mount Washington with temperatures falling from the 50s into the 40s at 4,000 feet dropping from the 40s into the 30s at 6,000

1:05feet. Tomorrow features more sun, lighter winds and cool temperatures. At lower elevations winds will be increasing out of the northwest 10 to 15 miles per hour, gusting to 25, waves on the open waters of Lake Champlain, one to three feet. I'm meteorologist Mark Brine with an eye on the sky.
