You know I'm always looking for ways to make weeknight dinners a little easier, especially with the baby at home. At the end of the day, I don't want to overthink what's for dinner. I just want something that's simple, tastes good, and I can feel good about serving everyone in my family. That's why I've been really loving nature raised farms chicken. Their whole philosophy is that food shouldn't be complicated. And honestly, I couldn't agree more. The only thing I want complicated is my Merrill Street Nancy Myers movie, but that's a tale for another time. Nature raised farms chicken is free from gluten, dairy, and soy, plus no seed oils or artificial ingredients. It's also a good source of fiber, so it checks a lot of boxes without feeling like you're making compromises. Chicken shouldn't be complicated, and nature raised farms really makes it a no-brainer. The next time you're at the grocery store, look for nature raised farms chicken. Your new go to chicken. Friendships come and go.
Tacos, they're forever. Hello everyone and welcome to everything iconic with me, Danny Pellegrino. That was a tagline from the new Real Housewives of New York, one of our new cast members, Erica. She decided to go with the taco tagline. Friendships come and go. Tacos, they're forever. And respectfully I say, what the fuck? What the fuck? What is that tagline? And why have there been two taglines in the history of the Real Housewives franchise that reference Tacos? Of course, I'm also referencing hip from the Real Housewives Orange County issue that has unfortunately, we have buried here and everything iconic, but she did have a tagline once something about it. Wasn't a taco or was it the turkey sandwich? I don't know, but I feel like there was a taco tagline and I don't think we need multiple taglines with Tacos. It just is absurd. And look, I'm rooting for the new Roni. I loved this week's episode. I thought we're on episode three and I was actually looking forward to watching a two I was taking notes. I have three pages of notes. Usually when these are flop episodes, I have maybe one and a half pages, something like that. And see, I find myself actually thinking that these new customers are working out perfectly.
However, the tagline about the taco, I cannot get behind. And I don't like Carol's tagline either. It was something about being a boomer and she still got a great ass or something. And she did reference Erica having a great ass this episode. And Erica is such a stunning woman on this show. But I cannot forgive the fact that she's married to a billionaire. I got a live-in chef and then she's reference in Tacos in her tagline. I do not care for it. It's just a little too. I don't, I want the taglines and this is a me issue. This is a me problem. This is me complaint. But I sort of like when the taglines are not purposely funny. Remember that one season, I think it is reference in these taglines when Carol said something about her great, great ass. She said, you could talk about me behind my back, but at least look at my great ass or something like that. And then it was that same season where Kristen Taikman's tagline was, there's a lot of tools in the shed, but I'm pretty or something. Or I'm not the sharpest, she was calling herself a dummy. I remember in the tagline, she was called herself a dummy and Heather Halletown. So I was like, ha, la, you know, there's a lot going on that season.
But I don't like when they're, I don't like when they're trying to be funny. Like I want them to just be accidentally funny in the taglines. And so when Erica say something about a taco, I'm like, that feels too a little too tryhard for me. So we just are getting to know this person. It's like, what is going on with the taco? I don't understand what she's talking about with the taco. We saw her making pizza with the husband, but they weren't even making pizza. It was like they had the live in chef and she's like, it's pizza night. And the chef was there telling him how to make the pizza. She's like, we got to roll the pizza. Now I am, I am going hard on Erica, but it's only out of jealousy because I do wish that I had a live in chef. There'd be nothing, there'd be nothing better than having someone just cook every meal for you. Don't have to worry about what you're cooking when you're cooking and how it's, you can literally say, hey, cook me this. Or you can also stay healthy because you're like, hey, can you make me a version of a taco, a version of pizza, whatever, but like a little healthier? That's what I'm always looking for when I'm ordering takeout. I'm like, I want something that's like, like a, like a, I can throw a stone to health.
You know, like I don't want it fully healthy. I want it to be still tasty and delicious. I want to feel like I'm getting a vegetable or that, like there's one little piece of the takeout that is going to be healthy. Does that make sense? So I would love to have a live in chef to just be like, hey, can you put like a vegetable in it, like, like on a toddler, hide a vegetable in, in whatever I'm eating? You know, like if I want a version of hamburger helper, but like hide a vegetable in the sauce. You can never take the Midwest out of the boy. Okay, so then this is episode three though and I'm loving it. I think it's great. The only thing that's not working for me is all the leftover pieces from the reboot. So the side, Aaron and Jussell. And I'll tell you what, if you're watching Ultimate Girls Trip, which is fantastic, this week's episode not only were they in Miami and I missed those Miami women so so much, we need to get the Miami women back. Seeing them on Ultimate Girls Trip, having a little group meeting, seeing them interact with each other, I'm like, I am, I'm devastated. I am losing sleep over the fact that real real house is Miami, it's not filming right now.
We need them back. There's no reason that Orange County should be on it. Miami should be paused. Other than ratings and the fact that more people watch Orange County, I still, it's not as good. So we need Miami back. But if you're not watching Girls Trip, the last week's episode, Adam Altman, New York. And so they did a gangster lunch to celebrate. Remember that infamous episode where Durinda is yelling, clap, clap, clap. And then they go to Bluestone Manor and they're going to have the big party at Bluestone Manor. But while they're in New York, Jessel and, and size showed up to one of the parties, and it was a costume party and Durinda is wearing her legendary NSL Andy Sandberg SNN, remember how she kept confusing NSL SNA, you know, she kept confusing the acronyms of her costume. She was so wasted at this Halloween party, a few, a handful of seasons back. And so she wore it. It was like the Lady Gaga costume with the bubbles. She wore it to this costume party. And the whole point of Ultimate Girls Trip is to celebrate the past and nostalgia.
They're showing clips every second of all the iconic moments throughout the years of all the franchises. So when they get to New York, they show New York iconic moments. And when they're in Miami, they're showing a Miami iconic moments and so on and so forth. And so Durinda is just doing the assignment of the show. She's celebrating the nostalgia. She's putting on a costume and Durinda more than almost any other housewife has had the most memeable moments. I mean, the clips. There's a handful of people on that Mount Rushmore of Internet Housewives. I'm talking Countess Luianne, Nini Leaks, is at the peak. We got Durinda Medley, Ramona Singers on there, whether we like her or not. It's like when you look at sort of the Internet memeification of the Housewives, which I think is what led to having such a intense fan base for this show. And the podcast, the memes, the gifs, gifs, tic-tocks, whatever. That Durinda's right up there. She's on the Mount Rushmore of that. And so she's got a million of those moments. And then when I saw Jessel and Sais saddle on up to Durinda and Jessel was, Jessel was throwing Durinda under the bus saying, why are you repeating an outfit?
I'm like, Jessel, how about you get the fuck out? And I was just a Fenderer last week on Real House in New York. And I will probably defend her again because I was, but the truth is, Jessel doesn't know what that's like because they've never had an iconic moment on the reboot of The Real House in New York. They tried to make that one moment where she's like, it's already there. Remember, they kept leaning into that and the pigeons. Like nobody was talking about any of those moments. They just tried to throw marketing branding in front of that. And so it's like, Jessel doesn't even know what iconic moment is. So for her to shade Durinda's costume, I was like, how about you get the F out? I was so pissed. I was so mad at her. I was just a Fenderer and I'm loving her on the new season. But see, that's what's not working to me about those women, the side, Jessel, and Erin of it all is because it feels like an understandably so. It feels like they're so desperate to keep their spot on The Real House in New York and make sure that this season's a go. Obviously, they had two seasons that were flops and they know that it's like three strikes you're out. So it feels like they're just throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks.
And that's what Jessel's doing on this season when you're cow size. That's what she did on Ultimate Girl's trip. And I understand it because if I was a Casamara on the show and I was trying to save the job, I'd say, okay, I got to just start, start fudin, start throwing out, accusations start throwing out strong opinions, whether I believe them or not. And it feels like that's what she's doing with Erin on the show Real House is in New York and it's like, none of that stuff is working for me exactly. But I understand it. Like they're just trying to save their show, save the spot on the show. So anytime I see them doing anything on these shows, I'm like, gosh, you're just trying to save your spot. You're trying to do whatever you can and I get it. But as an audience member, it's making me feel like so, it's so transparent. So transparent. And so I didn't like that she came after during that. I had a real problem with that. Real problem. If you got a problem with me, it's your problem. And I thought Drenna might have murdered her. Like I think she was like close because Drenna, if she would have had one more martini, what's her saying? One martini's good. Two martini, they're like breasts or something. She's got that other legendary saying. Another one.
Think of one thing, Jessel said. I can't think of one as Sire Jessel has come up with her errands come up with. But I am loving the New York Housewives. And we got into the Gosselin of it all this week. Which I was very excited about. Very excited to get into the Gosselin of it all. And by the way, I think I figured out the difference between the Haley and Daisy. I think I got that settled now. Obviously Haley's the Gosselin, Daisy's the Martha Stewart one. But my apologies for the last couple weeks because I do know that I mixed them up a bunch, especially last week on the show, which I knew I was doing because every time I'd say Haley or Daisy. So I really put in the time this week to like study them. I made flashcards for it. No, I didn't make flashcards. But I really was like, I got to get this worked out. I got to figure this out because Erica, I'm able to like, for some reason, Erica, the New Housewives, I just thought of her as a friend of so that she was in a different category. But Haley and Daisy, those names sort of mixed up. And I think Haley and Daisy, something about them mixed up for me.
But I think I got them. I studied this week. So hopefully going forth this episode, we will not mix them up. But I'm excited. I like the new taglines. I like the new taglines other than Carol and Erica. The rest were fine. They were good. I still don't understand that opening shot, what Carol's wearing and how they're all standing. It feels a little sloppy to me, but you know what? Housewives are sloppy. Now we open with Pickleball. I feel a bit pickleball. Like even in the city, we got to watch pickleball scenes. It's on every three inches. You got to pickleball. Pickleball this, pickleball that. I know people, I guess I can't complain about the pickleball anymore because people love the pickleball. Everybody's playing pickleball. You've started playing pickleball. The boomers are playing pickleball. The in-betweens are playing pickleball. Everybody's got a pickle in a ball. And they're pickleballing. And I am not pickleballing. I refuse to set foot on their court. And at this point, now I'm just digging my heels in and refusing and being stubborn about it. But I know the people love it.
It's not for me. I'm not going to watch Jessel learn pickleball. I almost thought there was a moment at the beginning of the episode I thought, are they trying to lose me? Specifically, do you ever feel like people are watching? Sometimes you say something to a friend and then you go on your phone and you get to add right away and you're like, what the fuck was that? I was just with my friend. And we were talking about something and it was like, immediately, I opened my phone and it was like, there was an ad for that thing. We were talking about that. It was like an obscure thing. And so everybody's listening. Big brothers listening, it's happening. But I almost thought when I was watching the pickleball scene, I was like, oh, is Bravo specifically trying to like turn me off of the show? Fortunately, they didn't lose me because guess what? You know who was playing with Jessel? It was my girl, Haley. That's right, I love Haley. I love Haley. She was going to play tennis in college and then got too high. She did. She had a mug shot and was dismissed and she regrets her brows on the mug shot and not the fact that she got a mug shot. And that's the kind of house life I want on the franchise. She learned an ultimate girl strip that Luanne from the original iteration.
She's selling the t-shirts of the mug shots and she was saying, oh, they're my number one seller. You know, she was so proud of it. And so a housewife leaning into their mug shot, that's exactly what you need to do. It's a couple of things that you do. At least to win me over as a fan of housewives, it's like embrace your mug shot and maybe a cocaine allegation because I do love a cocaine allegation. I do. I have the fucking chills. I get the fucking chills when I hear a cocaine allegation, especially at a reunion when somebody throws it out. Like, remember, I think Kelly Dodd yelled at Vicki like, you do a cocaine or something. I'm like, oh, I'm sorry. It's like maybe problematic of me. But when they do a cocaine allegation, it's just like, I can close my eyes and it, you know, like that visualization technique. And I've never needed to do visual, I've been needing to do visualization techniques. Because my anxiety is through the roof lately. It's got the baby on the way and we're going to have two under two. So anxiety is through the roof right now, through the roof. So I've been needed to close my eyes and like, you know, they say, I imagine you're on a
beach and the wind, there's a soft breeze and you're looking out at the ocean and you hear a seagull in the distance and you breathe in and you smell the sweet smell of suntan lotion which I love. And you know, you call them your nervous system. That's how you call them your nervous system. And so I feel like I need to do that. And when I see Haley, my nervous system is calmed because her nervous system is calmed from all the weed she's doing. But I'm happy she's doing the weed. And she was going to play the tennis. And so she's a good tennis player. She's one who's got to teach the teacher. But when I hear a cocaine allegation, it feels like I'm on that beach. It's like, I'm on that beach. I'm on that beach. So after they play pickleball, they talk shit about Aaron, which I love too. That was another way they won me over. So just as they were losing me, they started pulling me back in. Because they threw the pickleball rackets aside and they started talking shit about Aaron and I was like, I'm in.
And that's when I feel my best is when people are on screen talking shit about Aaron. Because I was pissed at her in last week for, she was talking about her flooding in the basement of her vacation home and she was saying it was like Hurricane Katrina, the people who lost their homes. And I was like, not on my watch. That pissed me off about Aaron. And Aaron's obviously the villain of this season because everybody seems to hate her. Even the ones that we, I thought Haley and Aaron were getting along. They had their first scene together when we met Haley. And so I thought those two were going to be buddy buddies. But now Haley's turned on Aaron. She's turned on her and she says she hates her. She's like Aaron talked shit about me and she was mad that Aaron had said about how she got punched in the tip by the double D or punched in the eye by the double D tip. I'm sorry. I'm excited. She or broke the nose, not the eye. Where did she get hit with the double D tip? It was the nose right? She broke the nose from the double D tip. Anyway, she opened up to Aaron about that and then Aaron went through her under the bus because Aaron's trying to save the show. So she, but Haley saw through it. She said not on my watch.
Just like I said earlier and then she talked shit about Aaron. So now she hates Aaron. She Haley also throws some good shade at Jessel and the confessional. She said if the ball was Blenziaga, Jessel would have ran faster toward it because Jessel was so terrible at the pickleball and that made me laugh. But Haley doesn't date other men but she's got the untraditional marriage which they all seem a little confused by. But she addresses with Jessel at the pickleball court the whole John and Kate plus eight thing. So here's the story. Now John was besties with Haley's mom. Haley's dad did Kates, you know, Kate Goslin Kate plus eight. Haley's dad did Kates mommy makeover. So she did some surgery after having the eight kids. She recovered at their house. So this is how intertwined and this is how fucked up it is. So this is how close John and Kate were. Now John and Kate were separated but couldn't tell anyone because TLC was still trying to milk them for the show. So do you remember that era when it was like obvious that the two hated each other but
they weren't divorced and then they came back for that new season. They finally sat down like we're being separated but up until that point they had denied that there was any trouble in their relationships. So Kate would go on the today show and be like, do John and I have troubles? Yes we do. And then she'd have that haircut sitting on the couch with Elroker where the fuck she was talking to. And so that's what was going on at that time but meanwhile they were actually separated. So of course it makes sense to us now but at the time I think we all thought no John and Kate are together. So John's cheating, she's cheating. Rumors about her cheating with the bodyguard and was like, oh actually John and Kate were already separated. But Kate was still close with that family because Haley's dad did the mummy makeover on her and stayed at the house. So then when John and Kate were separated John couldn't go live somewhere else because he saw it to pretend for the TV show that they were still together. So he had to pretend that he was living in that Pennsylvania home that they bought on the show and they were still filming the episodes where they go to the zoo or whatever the fuck they were doing on that show. But the eight kids, always every single outing seemed like a nightmare.
Toy store zoo wherever the fuck they went it was like, oh that sounds awful. And here I am stressed about having two and then you watch John and Kate will say and you're like, how are they surviving? Anyway, this is not the point. The point is John had to go live somewhere else so he decided to go live at Haley's parents house. So while he's staying there and pretending to still be in a relationship with Kate and the haircut, Haley comes home from college. She's 22 years old and she goes home, stay with her parents and she forms a relationship with John. So then they're all on a yacht and she's cuddling up Canutland with John and his caboose on the yacht. TMZ catches a photo, Prince of photo and now Homework or Haley becomes the thing in the tabloids. So she decides Haley says I'm going to get into PR because my ass is all over these magazines and I don't have a crisis PR manager. Nobody's going to help me so I'm going to help myself so she decides to intern for a PR company. Meanwhile, the PR companies are getting all sorts of news stories about Haley and John
Goslin because they're all over the tabloids. Let's just remind you that that John and Kate plus 8 saga was on every single magazine at the time like we discussed. And so the picture of Haley and John on the yacht appeared on TMZ and becomes just this whole media firestorm. And tabloids were going to Haley's college, going to college bars and offering money for tips about her. That was a rough era, era. So that's when she met Rubin or husband. Now, Haley's mom wanted to find someone safe. And Haley said her whole life would have been different if she didn't canoe to up with John Goslin. So really when you think about it, if Kate didn't do the mommy makeover with Haley's dad, then they would have had this relationship. Haley would have never met John, but then she met John, became a tabloid fixture, wanted to find safety, went for the guy who seemed the safest ended up with Rubin, even though she didn't want to. So she's married to the sky Rubin for safety, but basically says on camera like I definitely
would have never married him if it weren't for John. So she is definitely hates that man or doesn't at least it's like some sort of weird. I don't know. I shouldn't say weird because I'm happy that she's honest and open about it. It feels like they're not together, right? She's got her separate apartment. I don't know. I guess we're going to find out more, but there are some things that I'm like looking side eye about it and I want to know more. But none of this would have happened at war for John, but that tabloid arrow. Woo! That was rough. It was rough. That was a rough tabloid arrow. Anyway, let's take, we're going to take a break. Before we do, I got to tell you something very important. So if you're listening to this on Wednesday, which is Wednesday, September 23rd, it's officially been announced. It's at least being officially announced. If not now when you're listening very soon, that my new book is coming out next May, which is a bit away, but I'm so excited about it. It's called Just My Luck. You can see the cover reveal. We're doing with people so you can see the cover on people's website.
I'll put a link on my social medias, but I've been so excited to share the book cover. It's called Just My Luck out May 4th of next year. Please, please, please, pre-order. Pre-orders are super important. They let the publisher know that people are interested in this book and it helps them put some marketing money behind it and things like that. And so please, it would mean the world to me. I hate to beg, but I'm begging. Please, pre-order the book. Wherever you get your book, local bookstores, you can call your librarian request it. That's great. We love libraries. Major retailers, please, just pre-order anywhere. It would just mean the world to me. We do love a local bookstore or bookshop.org can connect to you, I think, with your local bookshops. But if you have Barnes and Nobleman town or an indie, it's great. We love the indie bookstores. I do love an indie bookstore. So please, please, please, please, pre-order it. It would mean the world. And I'm going to be begging you guys until them to pre-order. But right now, it's super important because we're doing the big announcement. Pre-orders just went live. And I hate to do it my own horn, but my agent does say this is my best book. And so she, she's always very honest with me.
But it's little bite-sized parenting stories about becoming a parent and being a parent. And they're very funny. I'm still laughing. As you know, I go through these edits and stuff like that. It's like I'm still looking at stories. And usually as a writer, sometimes you reread and re-edit and all that stuff a million times that by this point, you're tired of it. And I still look at I was just looking at it this morning because there was a few notes I had to address. And I was looking at it. And I'm like, gosh, it's still still so funny to me. And so I hope you all really like it. And the cover has some little e-strikes on it. There's a little photo of me and I should say a version of my son because it's a picture that I had of my son and I from when he was first born. And I didn't want a photo on the cover of where he's looking at the camera or that it's exactly him. And so we took this photo where it was kind of like a side view photo. And you can't even see his face too clearly. But I had my husband who's a graphic designer. I said, do a little digital stuff to it. I don't know why it was felt like a little crazy about that. I don't know. Because initially they were like, there was talk about maybe doing a new photo shoot, but I don't want to do a photo shoot with my son either.
I felt like that was a little weird and icky. Even if he's not looking at the camera, I was like, I don't want to put him to work. What anyway? And then also the yellow on the cover. I had the match Nora Efron, who I love. You guys know. She's got an incredible book called I Feel Bad About My Neck. That's an oldie Bikitty. But I asked them to sort of match the yellow color of that. And so I hope you guys like it and please preorder it. And with all that said, just my love. My luck may fourth. Please, please, please preorder. And we'll be right back. Thank you, day cast. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We all know how hard it can be to fit a workout into the day, especially when life gets super busy, which is why I think tonal at home is such a great thing for people. There's no getting in the car, driving to the gym, figuring out what you're supposed to do and you get there. It's really all right there. Tonal gives you the convenience of a full gym and the guidance of a personal trainer any time at home, all in one super sleek system. But life has only gotten busier since I started using Hungroot between work, having little one at home, figuring out what we're going to eat every single day can feel overwhelming. And one of the things I really love lately is using Hungroot for those quick lunches and the easy meals when the day gets away from us because there's always something new to try. It doesn't feel like we're eating the same thing over and over again which I love. And that's really why Hungroot has stuck for me. It combines the convenience of meal kits with the variety of a grocery store and the more you use it, the more personalized it becomes to your tastes and what you actually want. At this point anything that takes grocery shopping and meal planning off my plate is a
man. It's a bonus that it tastes so great. It's one less thing I have to think about every week. And I think you're going to love Hungroot as much as I do. There's been so many different chicken dishes and stuff I've gotten from Hungroot that I feel like will forever be in my pantry. Alright, so then we could take Harrell talking to Daisy about filling up gas. She said to cost her $112. It is too much. We just went to the Costco gas station this week and to fill up the tank. And it's crazy. And Costco, it was like the, Costco's the cheaper version of filling up the tank. But everything, obviously, it's like, I'm not the first person to say this. But it's like everything is just getting too expensive.
It's got to end. We cannot keep doing this. But Carol's right in the substack to put the bills. She's got her, every scene Carol's got the giant headphones on. And I, I bet she's tired of lugging around those giant headphones to probably get hard on her shoulders. But also she's talking about her book, What Remains. And I know I just mentioned my new book, which is coming out May 4th, Please Preorder. But I also know that Carol's probably tired of talking about what remains. That's a book that she's had to talk about on this show for countless seasons. Whenever she's interviewed, people are asking about JFK and Carolyn that whole, all of the relationships Anthony, of course. And I bet she's tired of talking about it. And she always says, like, I wrote it all in the book, but I don't want to talk about it. And that like totally resonates with me because sometimes you're vulnerable and you're writing. But then it's like, you don't necessarily want to talk about it. I feel that way with some of the more vulnerable chapters in my books and my new one, my new one also has that. But it's like, some of those vulnerable chapters, it's like, I just want to put it out there,
but I don't want to discuss that. You know, like it feels to, it already feels so vulnerable. I think that's leading to my anxiety too with this, with this new book is like, I feel, you feel so vulnerable about sharing personal things. Ah, and not to mention having the other baby on the way. I'm like, whoa, your boy's going through it lately. Anyway, so Carol's right in the sub stack. She feels assaulted by the love story stuff. I mean, even when she gets in the cab, there's an ad on top of the cabs for the love story. And she's like, I wrote about it. I don't want to talk about it. And she saw some young gals taking pictures in front of Carolin's apartment. She's like, I had to yell at them. But you know what? I don't know this. Obviously we didn't get that scene filmed, but did anyone else think like, what if there were just like a group of gals taking photos in front of an apartment? What if they didn't know? Like they weren't doing it. And who knows? Carol maybe she understood that they were doing it in reference to JFK Jr. love story. But I was thinking like, oftentimes when you're with a group of friends, you take a group
photo and they might have just been on the stoop being like, oh, we're taking a photo. And thinking of Carol walking by and be like, you goals. You know what? Just imagine you're yelling at people for taking a photo. And because she even said in present time, she's like, yeah, I realize I had to not do that. But Carol says Carolin, she's meeting with Daisy and she's talking about this. And she says Carolin would have found the cast annoying. She said Carolin was like a one on one gal. But Carol's mad at Jessel. But again, Jessel, the reason why he gave her grace about last week going after Carol and talking about Carolin beset Summer and all that stuff is because I do think Jessel was just being desperate for her job. And again, it's desperate, but it's also understandable because she was hanging on by a thread. All those other gals, sigh, Erin and Jessel were hanging on by the thinnest of dental floss. And so she was just trying to hold on to her job, not to mention, this is the other thing I got to say, I would imagine everybody was hanging on by dental floss because they know
three strikes you're out. They're not going to make it another season if they have another flop year. So I would think, I don't know this, this happened, but I would bet my bottom dollar that this happened was that some people, the production behind the scenes were also encouraging Jessel to talk about Carolin beset Summer and bring these things up and go hard on it because that's what the audience is interested in. And so I think Jessel did go hard and it was desperate and embarrassing and rude as fuck and mean. And all of those adjectives are true. And I also think in the production aspect is like she was probably pressured to talk about all that stuff. And I think she's smart enough and I even think Carol knew that this was going to happen. I think they probably told Carol, hey, you're going to have to talk about this stuff at this dinner or you're going to have to talk about this stuff at this brunch or on this one on one scene with Daisy, like, can we get into it? That's what everybody's talking about and the cultural zeitgeist that can we need to get into the details of it. So I think they all knew and understood the assignment of what they had to do and because
Jessel, Sion, Aaron were the most, I'm thin ice. They're the ones who are going to go and be a little bit crazier about it. Anyway, Daisy's just interested in talking about the tutor situation. Carol's talking about how all of the people in her life have passed away and she had to write a book about it. And now it's coming up on television with the TV show. And Daisy's like, can you believe it, Aaron was talking about me and the tutor? She said, she said she's not flour. She's like, I don't want to confront you. I'm not a confrontational person. I'm like, you're on the wrong show, baby girl, but she said she was flattered by the tutor. And I understand that, but it is also unacceptable to like heart yet. And Carol tells Daisy, she's got to tell her husband. But then Daisy said she's been married 10 years and she's like, every time we get in a fight, she's like, I go on Raya and then he goes on Craigslist to find a new place. And I'm like, uh oh, uh oh, not good, not good.
Not good. We're working on, uh oh with my son. And so that's why you hear me say, uh oh, a million times. It's like that's any time he drops something. We're like, uh oh. Okay. So then we got what is going on with the husband though that is weird. And then also they were doing the pass over dinner. And I guess it was great that we just had an all gals event. But then like when did the husband be at the Passover event? I don't know lots of red flags with Daisy and the husband. Uh, then we got to Daisy welcoming Jessel and Erica to her home with the popcorn ceilings and Jessels disgusted by the popcorn ceilings and she's being rude as hell. And yes, Daisy's still been renting for 21 years, but it's rent control. And she says she wants a new place for the clothes, but she's like, I don't know if my husband is going to leave. He was there first. So he was there for a while and she moved in. And the I got it kind of annoyed by Erica and Jessel like obviously Erica's rich as hell. And she's married to the billionaire created the bill rewards. So I she's like looking around and then Jessels all snobby too.
And they're looking around and judging the popcorn ceilings and they're acting like Daisy should just move, but I'm like thinking maybe Daisy can't afford to move. Like she says the place is rent controlled, but like even if it what I feel like it's just rude to assume that people should just move because you don't like their apartment. It's like, yeah, she'd love to probably move, but she might not be able to afford it. Like she's not going to maybe when she's on season three of the reality shows, she'll be able to afford, uh, she'll get a bump and pay and be able to bump up the apartment living. But right now they can't do it. And so stop acting like she should just move and Jessels talking about those popcorn ceilings. Like maybe she can't afford to redo those popcorn ceilings. So how about you shut the fuck up. Daisy did get her though. She said, she said something and I look, she said something professional. What did she say? Something about Jessel lasering her beard. I was like, what? Is anyone else sort of like surprised by Daisy saying that it was like, Daisy seems like such a nice little person. And then all of a sudden she's like, yeah, just a laser's her beard.
I'm like, what? Where did this person come from? Who's this? I have the. Who's this Daisy? Who's this Daisy? You know why I think I like Daisy is because my favorite movie you've got male says Daisy's the friendliest flower. And so I always love the name Daisy, which I tried to get my husband and name are, are upcoming daughter Daisy, but he was not interested. But, but I do love the name Daisy because of you got male. And so I think that's why I love Daisy. But she seemed like she went really low. But you know what? Jessel was making fun of those popcorn ceilings. So in the words of the Chicago soundtrack, she had it come in. Okay. So then I'm sorry, where did that come from? Erica very much does still feel like a friend of to me, but isn't. And I wonder if they bumped her up because that's been so rich. Doesn't she? She's giving friend of vibes, right? Or almost like her, she almost reminds you of a little bit of a Kristen takeman, like so beautiful, but like maybe not going to bring as much mess to the show.
I don't know. But Daisy, when she's talking about her husband, more red flags come up. She says she doesn't see the husband until 9 p.m. Sometimes one hour a day tops. It's a lot. It's a lot. And meanwhile, Jessel's, they're sitting in the apartment. They're talking shit about Aaron again. You know, my favorite pastime, but Jessel says Aaron didn't pay her rent and also has a rat issue. That's right. A rat issue or mouse rat issue or something that came up. And it's like Aaron now Jessel's going in on Aaron. So even though I was just defending Jessel against Daisy for Daisy saying something mean about Jessel, here comes Jessel. Here go, how come? And Jessel saying Aaron's got the rats. And you know, in the history of the house, I've franchised we haven't heard a lot of about rat issues other than maybe Lisa Rennam. And she had the rat problem in the oven, which is actually when you think back on it, when you really think back on it. And Harry Hamlin is like creating sauce. He's got the spaghetti sauce. I don't know if it's still a thing. But remember, he created the spaghetti sauce that he made in that kitchen with all the rats.
So they had a rat to eat rat operation going on at the Rennahouse hold. And he decided to market that as spaghetti sauce. And so maybe they should have put a rat on the cover and just really leaned into the rat at two of it all. Because when I think about how they had rats in that kitchen, I don't know that I'd be one in the airy sauce. I'll be on it. I love Harry and Lisa. You know, for the book, for my upcoming book that I mentioned, you could be order now or if you get your books. I, there's a quick little joke in one of the stories. There's a little joke about how I accidentally showed up to the 80 for Brady movie premiere dressed as Harry Hamlin. I wasn't dressed as him, but we wore the same outfit to the 80 for Brady premiere. It was very Miley Cyrus in Sex and the City too. But the point is I wanted to include a side by side photo in the book. And because the pictures from red carpet are like, what do they call like those getty? Images or alarm images or whatever you have to like pay for the image if you want to print it. So I had to pay $210 to print a photo of Harry Hamlin from the 80 for Brady premiere in my book.
And I think it was worth it. But I. It was worth it. Hopefully it'll be worth it for the laugh. But they had the publisher had to like reach out to me that being like the author is responsible for this cost. So I had to pay it. And of course, my publisher's being great and paying very well and all that kind of stuff. But it was funny to me that I had to pay the $210 to print a photo of Harry Hamlin and my upcoming book. But I think it was worth it. But so they were making the sauce. And so there are the only ones that I remember having a rat issue. And Justice says Aaron and Aaron probably doesn't have like a big rat issue, but Jessel did say rat. She said the word rat in the landlord apparently also sued them. And then Aaron also wasn't paying her management team. Jessel says there's lots of debt there. And then also, just to implies that the Hampton's flooding guess get this is she implies that it might have been an insurance thing. Woo. You know that saying that something like that is an insurance thing is right up there with a cocaine allegation for me.
Once again, I would close my eyes and it was at the beach about the breeze on my hair. Because that just reminded me exactly the same kind of thing. Like when you when you imply insurance fraud for another cast member, like that's like a cocaine allegation. It's like the same thing. Like I get a little bit of chills. Is it inappropriate and mean and very low? Yes. Of course. Did I get goose bumps as soon as she said it? Of course it is. So then we see Aaron running in the park, just like a Kelly, Lauren Benson on ran in the streets, but Aaron's in places where cars aren't. And size getting off the subway, we see Carol driving. It's just like this little montage of them getting around New York City, which I always laugh at because it's like, I imagine like size getting off the subway. And so the production is probably like, hey, Si, you go down in the subway. Like she probably didn't take that subway. They're like, you go downstairs and we're going to get some b-roll footage of you coming up the stairs. And so then she's got to like do her acting and be like, I'm just getting off the subway or Carol like pretending to drive that car.
Now is she driving the car? Yes. But it's just like b-roll stuff or Aaron, we're going to get some shots of you running in the park, which is so awkward. Like imagine a camera person with like a handheld in front of you as you're running and they're just like filming it. It's like very awkward and I love it. So then we see Haley's place, her pietta tear. She caused the mom. Oh, the mom's got a future on the Bravo. I can feel it. We're just getting to meet her mom via FaceTime. But I can tell you know, I have a succence for these kind of things. It's a sixth sense. I feel it in my bones. I can tell I'm not saying I'm psychic, but I do have some psychic abilities. I believe in you guys. And a long time listen to this podcast know that because there's been things I've been right about. Sometimes people send me a clip. They're like, I'm listening to an old episode from 10 years ago and you predicted something. And I'm like, oh my god, like I'm like Bravo, an ostrodoma sometimes. Now other times I get things wrong. Like when I was talking good things about Tom Sandball, like of course I get things wrong once in a while.
But I do feel like I have a little bit of a of a psychic ability. And they have been, I don't know if this is related to that, but I have been watching tarot card videos online at nighttime. Sometimes I'm kind of interested in, I'm interested in that. You know, I sell practical magic too. And I'm like, I need to be a witch. And so I'm like learning tarot cards. I'm like getting into like witch adjacent things. And I know I guess men can't be witches, right? Anyway, that's not the point. The point is I'm getting into my tarot. And I feel like Haley's mother is going to be a star for the ages and she's going to be coming around soon in next season. They're going to lean into her and I feel it. And I'm excited about because the mom, she got new boobs and then less than a year later wants to get less boobs. And so that's the kind of person we want on screen. Someone indecisive, especially as we're entering Libra season. But they talk every day. Oh, and speaking of Libra season, I have been very excited about our upcoming baby girl, hopefully being born in Libra season because I love a Libra.
I'm a Libra myself. But I pray for my husband because I'm having two Libras in the house. No one's going to ever make a decision around here. Okay. So then the mom though is very interesting. They talk every day and I hope my kids talk to me every day on the phone. I talk to my mom all the time almost every day. And so I hope my kids do that. Then we go to Erica at home with pizza and the husband. And she says, built rewards, the company that he started gives rent, rewards for payments on your rent. And his name is, I hope I'm pronouncing this right, on her, on her, but she called him anchor. And she said he never corrected her for like the first three years of the relationship. Like, what do you mean? Like, what do you mean? What do you mean? He never corrected you. Like, that's a red flag to me watching this show. What do you mean? What do you mean? And I don't think she was being funny, you guys. Like, I think there was like some playful nature of her saying that.
And I forget how it was at three years. Maybe it was like three dates or something, but it felt like no matter what the person you got to date, what should correct you if you're saying their name wrong. Am I wrong about that? Like, I feel, I feel pretty strongly that the, you should know each other's names or the proper way to say them. Now, on this show, sometimes I mix up names. I talk about the Haley and Daisy of it all, like on the podcast, like, and I feel ashamed about that. Like, I think there was one week where I was mixing up Haley and Daisy's names. And I felt terrible. I had to come on this podcast this week and say, I'm working on it. I'm trying. And yet, Erica was just mispronouncing her boyfriend's name for a while. And so it's like, what the fuck is that? Like, here I am being my ass, being myself up over it. And Erica's gone on dates with someone for multiple dates and years, possibly, and saying the wrong name. So I need to loosen up myself. I need to loosen up on myself. I need to loosen up. And yeah, I'm excited through the roof. And it's like, I need to just chill.
I need to chill. I need to have a little bit, I need a little bit of what Louie and has. I need a little bit, a little taste to that. A little, maybe I need to get a fedora. I think that's what helped me actually. A little nice fedora would help me loosen up a little bit. A fedora and whatever cocktail Louie and is having, which actually might not be good for my body or nervous system, but it's working for her. Let's take one more quick break and we're going to come back and we still more to discuss. I got to talk about the private island that Erica owns. You guys, the private island that Erica owns, did you just hear what I just said? Did you just hear what I just said? I think that's when they probably gave her the apple when they found out she owns a private island. They're like, okay, give her an apple, even though she's kind of boring. She's got a private island. We need no more. And also production was thinking like, oh, that'll be a cheap place to do a cast trip.
Right? That's what I would be thinking. Oh, this woman's got her own private island. Like, great, we can do our cast trip there. We don't got to pay location fee. Just give her an apple, put her in the opening credits and we're good. And give her a tagline. It doesn't even have to make sense. It could be about a taco, but at least she'll help us vacation on the private island. Let's take a break, though, and we're going to get into it. Now the husband, they're cooking, they say that they're cooking, but the chef is there. And I'm just very jealous of that. But they own a private island. She says the president stayed there after they leave office or something.
And then she said her dad was a wake-o doctor, wake-o-texas where she's from. And so he was wealthy and they were wealthy growing up. But now she's like, I'm on a different level of wealth. She said she hasn't been to the grocery store in a year and a half, which I actually think would be a bad thing about being that rich. To be honest with you, I like going to the grocery store, I think. Even though the prices are too expensive right now on everything. And by the way, all this shrinkflation that's going on, I'm not going to get into it too much because you guys hear me complain too much on this podcast, but it does feel like every time I buy something, a snack, I'm getting less in the packaging than the week before. And it's just making me hate every company that's selling snacks. It is. But she hasn't been in a year and a half. And I'm like, I think that would be miserable. Like I like going to the grocery store sometimes. Like looking through and seeing what new brands, new packaging. What do they do to their branding? Or what's this new type of creamer? Or what's this new type of pretzel thin?
Or what's the member dots pretzels that I would, if I didn't go to the grocery store, I would have never discovered a dots pretzel. Do you guys know what a dots pretzel is? I don't think they're very healthy for you, but that's not the point. The point is dots pretzel fantastic snack. And I would have known about that if I never made a the grocery store. So I don't understand Erica's reasoning for joining this show. That's a red flag for me. I know we talked about it last week, but there is something very concerning to me about the fact that she's this wealthy, owns her own island and says she's happy in her marriage and has private chef. But then why are you joining this TV show? Because I just don't think people of that type of wealth. Now there are other reasons to maybe you want the fame. That could be it. Or maybe she's bored. Maybe she's bored. She's like, I need something to do while he's away because he's traveling or whatever. Or maybe it's as they know that their relationship is not working. We've seen that happen a bunch of times in the past. Now I don't get divorce vibes from them. Seeing them together like they actually did seem sort of like a nice couple to be honest with you. But there's something there that I'm like, well, why are you on the show then?
Because in other situations where somebody's maybe been there rich or whatever, it's like, oh, they came on this show so that they can divorce from their spouse. And it makes the husband feel better because it's like they're leaving their significant other with this thing of the TV show. You know, that's what you have. Of course, the famous example of that is Kelsey Grammar and Camille. And I think he had set in interviews or she had set in interviews afterwards of like, he sort of gifted her the show. Like he got around the show because he was well known. And in this case of Eric Cuts, he's very rich. That's going to be a good reason to get around the show. But then it was like a good buy present. Right? But I don't feel like they're headed to divorce exactly. But then like, well, what is that? I need to know. I need someone in confessional just to be like, why are you on this show? I wish we could break the fourth wall in that way of just having, I don't know, just sit down with her and be like, why the fuck are you doing this show? Like, we all need the show. Or Daisy, maybe Daisy would be the one. Like, invite her over to that popcorn ceiling apartment. And say, hey, I'm on this show because I'm living in a apartment with popcorn
ceilings and I want to metaphorically raise the roof and get something without the popcorn on the ceiling. And me literally raised the roof. And then, so that's why I'm on the show. But why are you on the show? But I guess they can't do that. I guess they can't do that. But also like, what the fuck with that private island? I don't know if they feel comfortable with people with private islands. Something about having a private island. Did they, did they, she say they actually own it? Or did she say like, we go to a private island? I thought she said she owned it. If you own it, then I don't know. Would you guys live on your private island if you own one? I don't know if I would. I'd get maybe a board. I guess if they had TV, they had Bravo, maybe it'd be nice. Yeah, actually that would be nice. If I could just sit and watch my, my stories. I think I'd get into more Bravo shows. Like, I'm already into a lot, but I think I would really fully embrace the blow duck franchise if I lived on a private island. Because it'd feel more relatable to me if I was just like seeing boats in the water. And I was just like on my island.
I'd be like, I want to check in with Captain Sandy. Otherwise, right now, I feel like there's no time. It's too much, too much to catch up on. But I think if I had the, the quiet life of my own private island, I'd be like, let's check in on that blow deck. Yeah, what's Captain Jason up to? And I know people ask me all the time. They're like, are you going to cover below deck? And I wish I could, but I, you know, there's too many. There's too many. So then what's going on? Oh, you know what? Erica and her husband are going through the surrogacy process. She says she can't carry her own children because of risks. And they're in the matching process right now. And I'm glad they're showing this because I do think there's lots of misconceptions with surrogacy. And I get sort of ultra sensitive to it. But I feel like a lot of people have opinions on it without really understanding it. Exactly. And so hopefully we'll get to learn a little bit more about it. I'm excited that they're being open about it. That's a good thing. So then Haley's cooking Passover. She calls Martha, which imagine being able to call Martha. And she reveals that Martha gave her some eggs. She's like, Martha, I need more eggs. And some Martha's like, I'll bring you more next week. I can't do a Martha impression. Hopefully by the end of the season, I will be able to.
But she's able to call Martha for tips on hosting, which is like the dream. The dream. Daisy's got live in the dream. Did I say Haley already? Did I mix them up? It's Daisy cooking Passover. Ah, I think I said it wrong. Just then I'm sorry. I'm sorry. But it's Daisy. Daisy. Daisy. Z doing Passover dinner. She's inviting Haley, but it's Daisy the one who's calling Martha. Okay, so then Jessel and Aaron, they sit and meet. Aaron's got her 100 gold necklace is stacked, which is enough is enough. Every time I'm looking at Aaron, why'd she have 100 gold jewelry stacked? She thinks she's Jenna the Lions. I mean, Jenna Lions, not Jenna the Lions. She's not Megan the Australian. Jenna the Lions. Anyway, she's stacking the jewelry and or Jessel orders water to she's like, I have a water or a hot water. And the server is like, what?
Like the server can't understand them like server. You need to open up your ears. You got water in them because I don't feel like Jessel said it that weird. Even if somebody says water with an accent, like you hear the Australian say, I need a water bottle. Water bottle. Water bottle. It's like, I would still be able to understand that you said you wanted a water bottle. And especially if you're a server, you should know that. Come on, fella. But Jessel brings up the dermatologist. This is very interesting to me because Jessel talked to the dermatologist and we have it on Candid Camera. Caut. Caut. Aaron, her ass was caught because Jessel talked to the dermatologist on camera. And he's like, oh yeah, I mentioned you didn't know who I was, but like I'd have a problem with it. He's like, I wasn't offended. And so Aaron's like, yeah, that's what the dermatologist said. And Jessel's like, no, I talked to the dermatologist and he didn't say a problem with anything. And so Aaron's ass was caught. And also the dermatologist looked attractive. I just have to say that on camera.
I don't know. He seemed like a handsome, like a hot salt and peppery germ. I'm like, I need to go get my, what's what is the treatment I wanted to do? The microneedling or something over there. And he go get a, I need him to microneedle me or macro needle me if you know what I'm saying. Ladies and Mariet. Okay, so then Aaron's his Jessel's a clot chaser. And once again, I have to point out that everybody on this shows a clot chaser. And also says that Jessel's snobby and treats people beneath her. Now Jessel was PMO in me, pissing me off because Jessel says Aaron's a one on one man ponzi scheme. And Aaron's like, what does that mean? And Jessel was just doing like so much catchphrase work. And she was very clearly trying to get a meme like Dorenda. And it wasn't happening because if she would have just stuck with one of these, it would have worked. But she gave out three. She said one man ponzi scheme. What else did she say? She said, you're a bootleg Houdini.
And then she also says, you think you're a Zendaya, but you're a fucking blossom. And I was like, Jessel, you need to cool it. You should at least save two of those for another time. Because maybe, and then maybe you could have had a moment. But it's like, you're trying to have three different moments. And even Aaron, who I can't, I don't like Aaron, but Aaron's like, what are you saying? Like every time Jessel said something. And how do you expect someone to react in a scene when you're just throwing out catchphrases? And Dorenda used to do that, like, but in a more natural way. Like sometimes it would feel like Dorenda was saying things to be on a pillow. But then also, I realize like in real life, I think Dorenda's like that. Like she just says things that are naturally phrases that should be on a pillow or a coffee mug that you sell in your online store. And Jessel's trying to have that. And it's like, Jessel, stop it. I was like, I'm on your side if you stop trying to have these taglines. But she's like, you're a one man Ponzi scheme. And then she says, have you Googled yourself recently, baby? You should do that.
And then Jessel Googles her in confessional. And she's like, here's all the things that it says about Aaron. And then she Googles herself in the confessional. And she reads all the PR things that come up about like, her self-tanner or something or what she keeps in her bag. And Aaron says to Jessel, maybe your stuff is just not out yet. And then Jessel's like, you deflect your bootleg Houdini. And once again, Aaron says, what does that mean? You think you're Zendaya, but you're fucking blossom. And I just wrote my notes, Jessel, stop the catchphrases. Stop! Stop it! Stop it! I want to root for you, Jessel, but stop it. I want Jessel walks away, though. And Aaron talked shit about Jessel's nightclub outfit. But I'm like, Aaron, you're in all that jewelry. Like you're... She's like, Jessel's wearing an outfit. Like she's going to nightclub. And I'm like, where do you think you're going, Aaron, with all that gold jewelry on? Because it's certainly not like a run in the park with all those necklaces on. And so like you're still trying for your look, too. Yes, you're in jeans. But you stack so much gold jewelry on there,
you're going to weigh yourself down. And it's like you're going to be swimming in quicksand because of all the jewels on your neck. So maybe you're both dressed crazy, which I like. Which I like. Then we go to Brooklyn, Daisy's parents' house. Her former nanny is there. Her parents are in Boca. Carol arrives. She's got to put the cone on the car. She says it's her hack. She's like, I put the cone on top of the car. And people don't give me a ticket. But she's like, I brought you flowers. And Carol... Sometimes Carol annoys me because she like, and I love her, but sometimes she annoys me. Because she's like walks in the scene. She's kind of doing that Kerry Bradshaw coquettish thing, which is like, I brought you flowers. I just stopped at a gas station. I brought you flowers. And it's just like so. I don't know. It's a little... I really... But I'm loving these women. I really am. When I heard that Daisy say about her childhood, she's like, yeah, I remember growing up in this house. I used to drink Zimas and smoke sigs. And I... I don't have anyone who smoked sigs and drank Zimas
in high school and college. Like, that feels right to me. It feels like home. It feels like home. And so when she said she was drinking the Zimas and smoking sigs, I thought Daisy's home closed my eyes and I felt the beach again. I did. She's making mots of all suit my favorite. I should get some for dinner tonight. That sounds good. Erica arrives showing ass crack, or I'm sorry, but cheek. Not out. She's not showing crack. Was she showing crack? Was it just about cheek? I think it was both... Was it both cheeks? Yeah, because Carol's like, oh, I wish I had the ass of Erin or Erica. And they both have great cabooses. But I don't know if it's appropriate to show it a Passover dinner or a satyr and show in Butt Creek, but cheek. Because even though Haley arrived high, I still feel like Erica was more inappropriate by showing her cheeks. Her cheeks. I don't know these show butt cheek. Not to mention, I don't know, it's daytime. I mean, how come Erin didn't comment on Erica's butt cheeks out in the daytime, but she was talking about
jessels outfit at the... and the other scene. It's like actually, Erica's way more inappropriate than jessel was at the other scene. Erica is showing butt cheek. She got a butt cheek right out. Right out like she was serving that on a platter. And I thought, yeah, if I had butt cheek like Erin, Erica, I'd probably show it off too, but I don't know that it's appropriate for the satyr. They're saying prayers. And they're eating religious foods. And so maybe you put your butt cheek away. Or just, I don't know. I feel like before you leave the house, you should be like, hey, I'm... I have butt cheek out. Is this appropriate for a religious dinner? A religious event. Because I don't even think it's appropriate for any daytime event. But certainly, couldn't it anchor or her husband or the live-in chef or whoever's around the house say, like, hey, where are you headed? And she's like, I'm going to satyr with some friends. Couldn't someone have said, hey, your butt cheeks out. Hey, hey.
Hey, this is Chae Diaz. Hey, hey, Erica, your butt cheek's out. It's a religious dinner. Hey, hey, hey, put the butt cheek away. Your about to celebrate Passover. Hey, people are going to be reading prayers at a dinner table. Hey, don't put your butt cheek out. Again, it's a beautiful butt cheek. Or a double butt cheek. But I just don't know that it was appropriate event for the butt cheek out. So then, Aaron's offended the choose called boring. So she confronts Hayley about it. And Hayley's high as a guy. She don't even know what's going on. She ignores her, Aaron when she walks in. And Aaron felt a certain way about Hayley ignoring her. But it's like, Hayley didn't probably see Aaron, because she's high. She didn't even know where she is. Production just picked her up after she smoked some joints. And they threw her in this house in Brooklyn. So Hayley probably don't even know where the fuck she is. She probably didn't even remember getting might let alone see an Aaron's dumbass. So I'm on Hayley's side about this. Yeah. You know what I noticed in Daisy's parents' house, though, is there were gold records hung up.
Now, forgive me, I might have missed this. I'm sure somebody's going to say, Danny, she talked about this. But I don't remember her saying her parents were in the music business to you. Maybe she did. And I just forgot it. Or I have a lot of my brain. Inxieties, again, through the roof. So I might have missed it. But I was seeing the gold records hung up. And I'm like, who's Daisy's parents? I know they're in Boka, but I need no more battle. Jessel meanwhile shows up two hours late. Carol thinks it's rude. And Aaron was just about to start the prayer. Here's something I got a point out too, though. And I hate to defend Jessel again, because she was pissing me off earlier. But she arrived when Aaron had just started doing the prayer. And then Jessel rings the doorbell. And it's two hours late. This was very, at least to me, seemed very much production planned, because production sends the cars and stuff. And they decide when people show up to places. Because if you notice, when we have these group events, oftentimes the first person arrive, it's like who they want to talk about something. Does that make sense? So it's like, sometimes in a scene,
you might have the first housewife to show up to a party will be talking to the host about something, a storyline on the show. So it's very pre-planned, like when the housewives arrive. Now, I do think there are a lot of instances where people are just late. So we've seen that with Doreet done Beverly Hills or Miami, there was a big thing about Lisa being late. I do think there are housewives that are late on their own. But this was an instance. And I think Jessel has probably definitely been late on her own. But this was an instance that seemed a little too perfect that she rang the doorbell as soon as Aaron started. And her and Aaron already have the feud going. That I have my doubts about. And so I just was like, oh, this feels very set up for TV. Like, I'm not saying Jessel's not a late person or she's not rude or whatever, because I do think that's true. But in this instance, I felt like her ring that doorbell. I was like, production told her to wait. And I bet you, there was a PA inside with a walkie-talkie and was like, Aaron, start reading the prayer
and then they went in their walkie-talkie. Q Jessel to ring the doorbell. So that's when it happened. So that's how I feel. I think they sent the car, made Jessel lay it, and had to ring that doorbell. And so I'm sorry to say, but I caught your ass. Got you. Cucked. Jessel hates Brooklyn, though. And she is being an asshole. And Daisy, oh, this is good. You know, I said earlier, Daisy. I didn't see that side of her. Now she also in this scene called out Sigh for not bringing a host to a gift. That's right. She said, side and bring me a host to a gift. And you do get a bring a host to a gift, especially for something like a dinner like this. More than any other time, it's like, you got to bring something for the host. You do. You got to find something. Now I, you guys know I feel about chocolates. I think some good chocolates from your chocolate tier. It's important to have your own chocolate tier. I say this all the time. You need to have a loyal chocolate tier. So for me, that's Malle's in Ohio. I also like my C's candy for me.
But if I'm going somewhere, like, because it's like a personal thing or even wherever you live, you got to have a chocolate tier, like a good chocolate tier, like an independent or something like that, that you know when you're going to house, you could pick up a little thing of chocolates, maybe a bottle of wine or something, something a little personal. But you got to bring something. If you're not bringing the chocolates, bring a bottle of wine or a bottle of, I don't know, something related to bass, to bring a dessert or something. You got to do something, Sigh. You can't just show up empty handed. Now, Aaron says she misses her dad. She tells the story of a Passover. But Haley gives Aaron a C- for how she handled the prayer. Jessal's starving and doesn't understand why she's got to weigh it. And it's like, Jessal, a quick Google search of what this event was would allow you to understand what this event is. And so maybe you're just going to hop on Google when you're running late to Brooklyn. I know you don't want to go there. It took you a little while to drive there. So couldn't you hop on your phone and Google, what is this event? And then you would have understood instead of being an asshole and saying,
I'm hungry. Now, what else happens? Oh, this is interesting. So Aaron tries to have a moment. Because, remember last week on the show, Haley called Aaron Strawberry Jam. She's like, she's boring like jam. It's just on the table, but nobody wants it. And so Aaron shows up to this event. She's got a gift for, of jam. She got Haley jam of the month. Because she's mad that she was called boring, that Haley called Aaron boring. And it's a very boring thing to do. Like, didn't you feel like there was no, it made me think of Aaron as more boring when she gave the jam of the month club. It also made me think like, I'm going to call some people boring because I would like a jam of the month. I want to be in a jam of the month club. That's a great gift. And so Haley, I think even also was confused, especially because she was high. She's like, oh, this is great. Somebody's giving me a jam of the month. She probably didn't remember calling her jam. And so Haley's just sort of like staring and she's like, oh, okay, I'm getting a gift. But I would like a nice jam once a month.
A jam I'm not familiar with, I don't know. I don't know, I think it was a nice thing. But the way that Aaron gave it to Haley, I was like, this is not beating the allegations, Aaron, because it's just like making me see more boring somehow. And then this is when Aaron says, listen, Haley, I'd rather be boring than break up a marriage of a man who has eight children. And I do think Haley, as soon as she registers everything that Aaron's doing, is going to cold-cock Aaron's ass next week at the Passover dinner. But for now, at the end of this episode, it ends with Haley just looking confused, because she's trying to breathe it all in. And you know, when you're a little stone like that, or, I mean, Haley's obviously, I don't even know how much she's smoking. I don't know how many milligrams Haley's gotten her ass, but but she's definitely like, got a lot in her. And so it takes her a minute, and that's understandable. So every time we have an interaction with Haley, it's going to take her a beat to catch up. And that's okay. I'm okay with that. But I do worry, I don't know if it's worry,
but I do think that Haley's going to cold-cock Aaron's ass next week at the Passover dinner at the remainder of this event. That's the end of the episode. Thank you all so much for listening.
