He's Gary. Gary has the tea in the collute of the day. What up Gary? Good morning, Ricky. Good morning. I'm Mara. Good morning to you. It's Friday of beautiful day in the neighborhood. And here's what's happening in celebrity news. Y'all, Jocelyn, her name is Y'all. We all know Jocelyn, baby known as the Puerto Rican Francis, where Tyler Perry said he's about to move to Y'all. She is claiming that Stevie J was secretly involved with Faith Evans hunting while he was still with her. And she now considered Y'all to alleged for trail is a blessing, honey, in the sky. Now during the recent appearance, Y'all in the Shannon Sharpe show, maybe if he's Jocelyn's there, that she didn't know at the time that Stevie and every time he were alleged in more than friends. Neither Stevie nor every time has publicly responded out to the allegations. She said they have been messing around,
but she didn't use that word, honey. And I didn't even know it, Jocelyn. She said they were making it seem like they were friends. That's one reason why I don't trust friends, honey. So people seem like they friends. And before you know, honey, I mean, they almost have them. Friends. Friends. Why don't she say that? And you can depend on. Let's be friends. Yeah, right. We're going any further. Let's be friends. They were, they were, they were happy to say that she wants to be back. Jocelyn off 100 faith. Oh, thank you, honey. Oh, right, Ms. Jocelyn. She said, thank God that old, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. She said, thank God that old B-hunter came around, and took that man. She said, she took him away from me. And she helped me. Jocelyn and Stevie, honey, had an on and off relationship for roughly five years before their 2016 split. Though the pair, y'all once claimed that they were men, they later acknowledged that they were never legally married, child. And they have a beautiful child, y'all Ms. Bella, Ms. Bonnie Bella, which was born in 2016. Now that said, you know, you just can't trust people
on the good honey, but oh, we friends, honey. You friends are right, honey. Friends with benefits, and so I feel so sorry for Jocelyn. She loved that man. And being here is something I did come about. So they're not, you know, allowed there. So let's keep our parts dipped in prayer. Right. Hopefully they pray for the baby. They make it back together one day. Who knows? Love will bring us back. All right, moving on in other than the news, y'all, baby Ms. Davide and the joy, honey, she is shay, honey, Ms. Brittney, Rena. Relationship, she could never be me. Now, Davide and the joy, y'all, honey, she won't let Brittney and Rena have the last word. Now, after Rena marked joy while discussing women, who enjoyed being taken care of by me and Joy, answered, with a slick video of her own honey and made it clear that she is perfectly comfortable with her relationship preferences, honey. She's a decade never be me, honey. And you, honey, and the love and all that other men's gone. Now, could you know, Davide and the joy was one with a little bit of pain, and did it, honey. But now she's speaking out. But here's what Ms. Waman had to say about the other one. Hi, Brittney. That could never be you, and I love that for you. I, on the other hand, have never been excited
and met that I absolutely love. Love wouldn't make me and takes care of me. And frankly, I love taking care of my man. We're both different, and that's okay. But Brittney, if you find yourself mentioning me again, please don't look like you've been fighting dogs all night. Okay, beautiful? Muah. Ah, that was dirty. Don't look like you've been fighting dogs all night. How could you say that to another woman? Wow. She said, don't look like you've been fighting dogs, honey. Oh, hi. My god, I've been a biobab said that to you. Probably you, but nobody else. Gary, nobody else. I hear you giggling. Nobody else is there. Well, I'm good. Absolutely. That's something you would say. Gary, I'm a shady with that. That was. That was. Maybe. This girl said, oh, no, no, you've been fighting dogs. Look like what does that look like? Exactly. Look the shovels. Don't look. Don't look. Oh, me. But it was pretty girls. They don't want to say that. They don't want to say that.
They don't want to say that. They don't want to say that. They don't want to say that. They both pretty girls. They said, they don't want to. So I mean, it's sad. You know, but women, women still letting me take care of them. Now, that's a more women becoming more independent. Women still allowing me. Yeah. Women take care of me. They want me. They got a good woman in work and work taking, being taken care of. That's something else. That's a blessing. I see it. That's a blessing. You know, man, take care of somebody that take care of you, right? Well, yeah, but I thought, you know, I want to independent. I want to woman. It's independent. I want to love God. And I want to do this. Yeah. I mean, she, if she had to be by, I said, she don't have no choice but to be independent. But that don't make her, you know, I'm saying if she put in a position where she can be taken care of, or whatever. I think some of those independent skills can go to us to help you. So, you know, it can actually work. It just depends on, you know, her or any of them. Yeah. Okay. So if I was one, I would take care of myself and let him supplement my income. You can take care of me. You can. You know, I'm going to get mad with you.
And we'll say, give me back my purse. I bought you. Give me back my shoes. So no, man, I'm mine. These are all my. Yeah, I'm going to take back the purse and the shoes. Yeah, I'm on the date with another man that I bought. Yeah, get you right now. Oh, right now. In my quick, free story. Let's take them and get them damn shoes. I don't know. I mean, you go walk out of the other waffle house barefooted. You see me at the waffle house. That's how I'm trying to nail it. You know, you take another dude to the waffle house with some shoes on that you bought. Get on out of here with that Atticat coat when they're in front of the house. Because you adopt me as like cornflakes without the milk. It's my word. You just a squirrel trying to get a nut and a get her a dough touch that coat. That's all I want. Walk it in the rain. You're so old. You're my whole head and I never be the same. Go ahead, Gary. Show what you do. My sweet little prince, Terry. Let's keep Jennifer Lopez lifting up in our trash. I don't know if you heard the shocking story, but they're sending a Minnesota shop. They'll be guys going viral and for looking exactly like Jennifer Lopez, huh? They say they're just going to miss it. It's a rain and quet.
They say baby, a mug shot went viral. They thought she was Jennifer Lopez, but she's not. And they say baby, honey, Jennifer Lopez and they made follow loss who have to have this go have plastic surgery. And so she won't look like a number, but they say she was charged out with boosting to double pack of power to batteries worth about 500 eight out of a Minnesota store. They This girl needed some batteries. You know, post a picture on your page, Gary. Post a picture on your page so we can see you. Yeah, we don't put on the picture. It's about a morning show page. I was jigger, but she does look like Jennifer Lopez though. So, you know, if you go for their picture, I'd have a bless her so honey. If somebody looked like you, don't you hate somebody, get caught still and something and then they look just like you and you are probably thinking everybody's not sending this stuff in you. Okay. Yes. Love it. It's just like when they have these pictures of women in bathing suits, honey. It looks like certain people and they say it's not them. Yeah, Ricky. Uh-oh. Oh, my baby. What? Oh, my baby. I'm telling my baby.
I'm telling my baby. She's been going in between. Let us enjoy that. We know that we're in Brad. You can't tell us that they hate the break. I keep telling you. Oh, man. Stop doing that. I have so many calls. Stop it. What they were saying, Brad? Who calls you? Stop it. Oh, it's Brad. It's Brad. I didn't say the deed. I know what time it is. Shala. Stop it. Shala. The color of the hair is one of my favorite cool old. That's right, baby. Shala. I really need to stop there, honey. The color of the hair is Erica. On the high end you say Erica. On the lower end you say beautiful amateurs. That's your color of the hair. Shala. That's a beautiful color. Y'all all, please take your time and give Gary one big round of applause later. All right, John Rickson out of morning show joining us this morning. She's an award winning journalist television host, author producer and mom who has created a space where celebrities can be real in everyday people can tell their stories. Ladies and gentlemen, let me get a drum roll. It's about to be messy. We about to have some fun. This is our personal friend. I want you all to give it up for Timmer and Hall. Give it up. Wow. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. I'm already I'm coming in hot. You're in cold. Why did you say friend first?
People don't believe we're friends if you end with friends. Oh, ladies and gentlemen, Rickson out of morning show our good friend. We love him. We were going to go to school together. We were in Alfreda got to fight never club together. Television host, author producer and mom. Y'all give it up for Timmer. Hall. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. All right. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Oh my gosh. Pretty sting give me one thing. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Pretty sting give me one thing. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Because what do you get somebody who has everything? I have to find the most interesting gifts that you get them more. You get them more. But I love y'all so much. We love you too. It's them. We just get like eight seasons. It's a really big deal. Eight seasons. I mean it's a big deal. And you have a huge land of the season.
So what's something that you learn from a guest that has kind of changed how you looked at your life? Oh my gosh. That's a great question. You know, I like all of us. Everybody on your show. People have counted us out at different times. And you are only out if you think you are. People think that they can determine your destiny. They can determine how far you will go. Whether it's in our radio industry, music, whatever the things that we've done. And your only out if you think you are. When I lost my job, I was 47. I'd never lost a job in my life. I'd worked as I was 14. But I didn't accept that another person gets to determine my steps. God determines that. And I determine that. And I think that's the biggest lesson in all of it. That's why we're now at season eight. Tomorrow we're taping an exclusive interview with Jalen Bronson, his mother and his father, their first interview together. And it's going to air this Monday on September 21st. And the big thing with me when I was talking to the Bronson family. I said, listen, I can talk to you about the mix and the run and all of this. But in truth, everybody wants to know how can you raise a champion?
And that doesn't mean rings and that doesn't mean, you know, acquiring everything in life. But how do you keep getting up when somebody says in his case, you're too short, you're too slow, you're too this. And so whether you have a kid or not, we all want to know how do you get back up? So those are the things that made the show, I think stand out. It's one thing to have Jalen Bronson on. And each time I play basketball and do some things like that, it's another big into this conversation of who are you when you're back is against the law. And I think that's why we're still on. So, Tamron, you are talking about kids. And I just want to say, you know, I had a child when we were in our 20s. And you were such like, you were a mom without being a mom. I could call you and be like, Tim, I just don't know what to do. And you know, you know, some people like that. But I really want to take you back if you remember, because my son's birthday is this week too. I would know if you remember where you were and what we were doing on the day I went into labor. Oh, you know what? I don't like this show. I don't like the people on this show. I'm going to tell the story.
No, I'm going to tell you. I'm going to tell you all I was Tamron's birthday. No, you're not. So I'm pregnant. And you know, Tamron's like, I'm coming over. I'm a birthday because I got you know, I'm with my new guy. I want you to meet him. So they drive up. I didn't want you to meet him. What did I say? You want me to see him? Yeah. So we drive, they drive up. I see him. I'm on my deck and his little shiny little convertible Mercedes. They have a Mercedes. Yes, no, he did. Yes, he did. Yeah, like a red convertible Mercedes or something. He did? Yes. Anyway. Do you remember, do you remember his name? I do not remember. Don't say a thing. I want that. I'm going to tell you something. I'm going to tell you something. I'm going to tell you something. He comes in and I'm like, oh, hi, nice to meet you. Oh gosh, my stomach. Oh, no. I'm starting to go into labor while Tamron's on her birthday date. So she has you. I wasn't on the date yet. Well, I wasn't on the date yet. Not yet.
Getting ready to go on the date. She's getting ready to go on the date. She's going into labor. Oh, why was it doing in front of us? Yes, because she was hating. That was on the date. Oh, she's going to knock those things. Tamron and her new guy wind up starting their dip at the hospital with me going into labor and having had to go. That's not the worst. Gary, he's got only some longest labor ever. We got to go. And I was like, we got to go. I said, you're messing up my date. We got to go. I said, hey, no, no. You're like, hey, no, no. She's like, hey, no. You're not going to hurt it. You're not going to hurt it. You're not going to hurt it. But anyway, Tamron, speaking of dating, honey, dating has changed so much, girls. So what is the craziest dating advice that you've heard recently that made you think, hmm, absolutely not, besides that pregnancy thing without a reason? Ooh, that women should pay for the date. I don't think that you should pay for the date. That's crazy. I don't think. I agree with that, Tamron.
I think that's crazy. I don't think we're doing a show. In fact, Kendra G is coming on the show. We're talking about dating. There's a whole trend of the chase, right? What happened to the chase? And why some men believe that women have ruined dating because we don't let you chase? And it's really controversial. Believe it or not, I'm from the different era, right? I'm from a chase era of the dating world. If you go on a date and they can't pay for the date, you should not go on the date. And I know it's been probably that some people might think that's antiquated. I do not. And I think it's crazy to tell somebody that you ask me how you got to be able to pay for the meal. And that doesn't mean I'm for sale. That does not mean, but you have to pay for it. I don't think I should take you out. But I don't think you should go out with a guy who can't pay for the dinner. You said everybody tells you otherwise. It's not getting you good advice. I think it starts off wrong.
That's absolutely. So that's my most controversial advice. Wow. We are back with Emmy Award winner, Tim and Hall. Now, Brett, you had a question. Your theme this season is let's keep talking. What is the conversation that you think people desperately need to be having right now, but they're afraid to talking about? Oh, my God. How long have you been talking about? How old? I think people are lonely. I think people are really lonely. I think that's why we're on social media masking and filtering and judging. The minute you put something on social media, people feel entitled to then suddenly just say something crazy or disrespectful or demeaning. And I feel like that's a sign of loneliness. I mean, there's been research that we are in a loneliness epidemic where people don't know how to be friends anymore. The former attorney general of the vet, Murtha talked about it a couple of years ago. In the New York Times, people don't know how to be friendly. They don't know how to get on the elevator and say good morning. So true. I get on the floor. I get on my team. I don't know how to say that.
I'm my team. I have most of my producers are like in their 30s and they're amazing. And sometimes they will send an email to someone and they'll say, he didn't respond. He was, you know, he blew me off. And I said, maybe you didn't see the email. Like people believe that texting and emailing is communication. And it's not. And then you get on the elevator. Everyone looks down. No one looks up. No one says hello. And I think those are all not signs of us disconnecting. It's a sign of loneliness. We don't know how to connect. And I think that's part of why I said, let's keep talking. But I do think that the loneliness thing, especially in our black community, even so, is not discussed enough. There are a lot of people who want connection and don't know how to find it. Not just romantic connection, just having a friend. Just having a friend. Yeah. Well, I've always said, I'm not lonely. I'm just alone. Oh, wow. That's just. What's the distinction? Tell me the distinction. He only knows. He just sounded good. He just sounded good. Tell me. He just sounded good. He only knows. He heard it. He heard it. He heard it. Church and he can make a quote and I'm sad you asked.
I'm glad you asked. That's the question. Don't question me, Taman. I'm a journalist. You can't just drop something in like, yeah, I'm walking away. You can't ask me a quote. Do you see how I like every video of your wardrobe? You are the best dressed person. You look, thank you, Taman. You can set it. And still lonely. And I'm just alone. I need to be on your show dripping, baby. I think the whole cruise should come on in and we do a just a segment with you by yourself on your fashion. Oh, I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. Gary. Yeah. Yeah. I want to know how far in advanced Gary, you pick out a single outfit because I feel like when I see those videos, that was planned and thought out and mapped out. Nope. Do you use AI? Do you use AI? No. I just get up in the morning on the day and just put something on. I was tortured today by my shoes. But didn't go in my outfit. You be getting that stuff from the consignment store across from Valley View Mall with them all rich white people dying. You go by the car.
Yeah. Okay. Cause I have a baby. I love a baby. Okay. Then we got our tip of the day. Our fashion tip of the day. Nice. That's cool. No. Now I know that y'all are best friends. And so we know about it. When is your absolute right? At home behavior. Well, I don't have any. Oh my gosh. Really? Oh, how are we sure? I'm in trouble. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. You know, I am the neatest. I'm a neat freak. She is. She's not. Yes, it's true. She's not. I keep everything immaculate and tidy. She doesn't. That's true. That's why we were never roommates. I don't have. Okay. Georgia. Georgia. I'm not. I'm not. Georgia. I'm not. I'm not. Georgia. I'm not.
Georgia. I'm not. I'm not. Georgia. I'm not. Georgia. I'm not. Georgia. Georgia. I'm not. Georgia. Georgia. Georgia. I was born, but I was born.
