Good morning everyone and welcome to this morning's episode of the Maritime Morning Brief brought to you by the Murnick Change of Puget Sound. I'm your host Sarah back again this morning bringing you the essentials on vessel movements and maritime conditions today in Washington. It is Friday September 25th, 2026. Happy Friday everyone. Today we are anticipating the arrival of 10 vessels which is expected to include one bulker, three container ships, one general cargo, one passenger, one tanker, one row row and two vehicle carriers. That might be the longest individual list we've had in a while. We're also expecting the departure of five vessels including one container ship, one general cargo, one passenger and two vehicle carriers. But as you know ship schedules are dynamic. They are always subject to change so please do use our other resources if you need more up to date information throughout the day.
For today's tide in Seattle we will have high tides at 0 427 and 17 0 4 with low tides at 10 37 and 23 17. For the weather we're expecting a high of 59 degrees and a low of 51 degrees with winds from 5 to 9 knots. Then there is possible chance of thunderstorm before 8 a.m. and then showers between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. and then showers and possibly thunderstorms again after 2 p.m. So there's like a little window of just rain chances and then surrounded by thunderstorm possibilities. So make sure to note that if you are on your way out today. Before we sign off I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who attended our annual meeting yesterday. I have said it many times but I don't know there's something just kind of special about this meeting like getting everyone in the room to talk about the marining stage and collaborate across the whole industry and sub sectors and discuss different things and stimulate conversation and a great Q&A with Derek Stanford and all those things.
So that is lovely and I just want to say thank you to everyone who turned out and attended for that really means a lot for us. And as soon as I know I will get you the date for next year so you can get on your calendar again. There were a lot of kind of conflicting events this year but next year we're going to work to pick a little bit of a better day for that. So that does not happen and get on the calendar early so that does not happen. But with that I'm going to sign off for today's episode. Thank you very much for coming to also join me here online yet again and I look forward to seeing you all bright and early tomorrow morning. Thank you very much.
