We're gonna continue with Inyan and we're going to Sukhas. I'm telling you in Allah's peace. So the Shulkhanaq passed in the right place. Let's start with the Gammar. The Gammar and Sukha, that we have above them, that we have a brother, that we have a brother. Okhan Akhilus, I'm going to Sukha and I'm going to Shemus. I'm going to Sukha. The person is going to have a snack outside of the Sukha but the person is not allowed to sleep even a nap outside of the Sukha. My time, why can't you take a nap outside of the Sukha? I'm going to have a shower because I'm going to shower in the year. I'm afraid that if you take a nap outside of the Sukha that you're going to fall asleep for good, meaning really, nap should have been allowed outside of the Sukha. But we're afraid you're going to fall asleep for a longer period of time. The Gammar is another day that in Kavala Shaina, that there's no such thing as a short nap, meaning by snacks, so less than a certain shear, is called a snack, is not called a meal. But by sleeping, there is no shear of what could be defined specifically as a short sleep or a long sleep. Sometimes you need a short sleep, sometimes you need a long sleep. And you know, power nap sometimes gives you more energy
that all night sleep, sometimes they'll give you. So there's no real shear for a nap. So that's why the Allah Quds inshul-Khanarach in Simeon Tafrich, Lamentesif Bayz, Ochlu, Vishosim, Shainam, Besukha, Kalshiva, Bain Bayyom, Bain Balayla, Vein, Shainam, Kutsu, Suka, Aafilu, Shina, Sarai. One is not allowed to sleep outside of the Sukha, even a little bit. Even though you're allowed to snack outside of the Sukha, now I take a nap outside of the Sukha. So here's the, this is the issue I wanted to discuss today. Is there any, why isn't that so many people are no egg here in America not to sleep in the Sukha? And is there any way that maybe we could be in the Sukha or maybe not? Maybe we should have got, and if we can be in the Sukha, we'd have to try to make sure that we do sleep in the Sukha. So let's, now clearly based on the Shul-Khanarach, it seems clear that you now let a sleep at all outside of the Sukha. However, Primugodim writes that even though you now let you take a nap outside of the Sukha, if it's a very, very short nap, less than the amount of time it takes to walk 100 amos,
then you're allowed, that's not even a Shina, Sarai. That you're allowed to do outside of the Sukha. There are riots against that. The Balamar writes in the end of Misaka's Psaachan, Balamar wonders, why is it that we make a Brahma and Sukha Kalshiva, but we don't make a Brahma and Matsah, Kalshiva, right? The why is it that we make a Brahma and Sukha all seven days when I'm Matsah, so he says, because even though you now leave Khamit all seven days of Psaach, you don't have to eat Matsah, you could eat Payros, you could eat other things, you can eat potatoes all the time, and you'll still survive. But outside, you're never going to be able to survive outside of the Sukha for all seven days, because you're going to have to sleep eventually, and it's true you can eat foods that you don't need to eat in the Sukha, but eventually you can have to sleep, you can have to take some sort of time and nap, and that needs to be in the Sukha. You can't live without sleeping for seven days, says the Balamar, so the implication of the Balamar is no matter how short the sleep is, it needs to be in the Sukha, because you could live for seven days by taking very, very brief naps that are even less than 100 lamas. That's what the Ghamari Sukha definitely can give you when you describe it, the simplest way is Sushrava,
that they would just nap on each other's shoulders, whereas they were going around in the circles. Now, that would keep them going for days like that. So, sounds from the Balamar against that pre-magadim, that even the tiniest naps, and Poshpshan and the Ghamari in the Shulkanar, is that even the tiniest naps have to be taking the Sukha. Now, the Ramahrites, that in the Ramahrites, who mash an organ, a huckle, actual, the Shainar, the fact that nowadays we're making with this, Shaini, Shaini, and the Sukha, rack, have been dactic in the Midsfa, so unbelievable. Ramahriding in Poland, says that there were some people that were mdactic in Midsfa, so it's still sleeping in the Sukha, but why doesn't everybody else, ishram, shansina, so he says, there's freezing cold, the ishram, the Shainar, they should be mdak, it's freezing cold, it's tremendous, sad sleeping in the Sukha. Meaning, the primary rule of Sukha is teshwu, ke intaduru, masukha's teshwu, so how do you say, in Sukha the same way, you live in your house. If it would be 20 degrees below zero in your house,
you'd find somewhere else to stay for the night, you wouldn't sleep in your house, so when it's 20 degrees below zero in your Sukha, you find somewhere else to go sleep in the Sukha. That's one svar of the Haka. Then the Ramahrites, have another svar of it. The linear Midsfa's Sukha ishrubeso, ishrubeso, ke dharakshu, dharakshana. The Midsfa's Sukha ishrubeso, that man is supposed to be there with his wife, just like it's also teshwu, ke intaduru, but not relating to the cold, it relates to being there with your wife. Obamakum shlou yuhal ishrubeso, shainal sukha miyuhedas potter. So if you have a Sukha that you can't be there with your wife, because you don't have a private Sukha, so then you potter from Sukha. The Tovla, Mavliyoshsham imishtokamoshi dharakshana, shainal sukha miyuhedas potter. Therefore dharakshana, if you were able to have a private Sukha, and your wife is willing to come with you to the Sukha, so you should sleep in the Sukha with your wife, and therefore be Mikaim litsma of teshwu, ke intaduru of ishrubeso,
now that's a great khiddish, that line of dharakshana is actually a phenomenal khiddish, because the Ghamara itself discusses whether women are khayv and Sukha, based on the fact that teshwu ke intaduru, in fact that a husband needs to be in the Sukha. So the Ghamara says, in Ghamara says in the Erykh, gimlam base, a kochayavan besukha, kohanem huvi misraele, so says them are of course kohanem huvi misraele, the tharakhaeve, who is khayve? So Ghamara says now I would have thought that kohanem are potter, because says besukha steshwu, so ke intaduru, that just like dhira, ishrubeso, afsukha ishrubeso, and kochanem since tharbana evodah shinnapi khayev, khamashwu lawan therefore comes to me that there's still gonna be khayev. So what's the implication, is that I would have thought that Sukha is ishrubeso, and therefore if you can't be there without your wife your potter, khamashwu lawan, they know you're still khayev. Right Ghamara is Sukha is a similar thing to try to figure out whether women are khayev, and Ghamara says,
and no, it's not a khiyah for women, it's your khiyah, but it's not a khiyah for women. It's a havin' me, I would have thought a woman is khayev, because a man needs the woman there, khamashwu lawan the woman is khayev. So it's an interesting mechanic according to the way, it's an interesting mechanics of the dinner according to the drama, the woman could say, and the man could say, and the man could say, no, you have to sleep there, because you need to help me do my mitzvah, and I can't do my mitzvah unless you sleep there. So the woman has no personal leave, but she has an obligation to help the husband out in order for him to be able to fulfill the mitzvah. And the task rights that married men are task and tough-wish-time and task, sif-cut and task, is it no married men are part of the mitzvah? Because he's also a mitzvah, he's being a samyak his wife, he's a woman has a mitzvah, simple-scientif, and it's a mitzvah's wife for him to sleep, and the bedroom with her, and not to sleep in the suka. So that's the question, is that really a key of the mitzvah being a samyak one's wife? The gammaram, 10th paragraph of the samyak, and says about Nashim on the msantam,
how are you a mitzvah woman on the antif? You take sivane, you buy them nice clothing, doesn't say that, you stay with them, you sleep in the same room, but one could argue. That's just a roti-ish of the cavitifles, may I say, a recavino preaches, that a woman would rather have, would rather have her husband with her more than anything else, and therefore maybe that does count as a key of being osake in the mitzvah of being a samyak one's wife. Now, when the jazalavadia, Revadiosav doesn't buy it, it says no, what does this have to do with those mitzvah? Those mitzvah are the mitzvah, because when you have two mitzvahs, they're both minadam l-mako. So you're doing one, you have to do the other. Mitzvah and l-khavero, Mitzvah and l-mako, we don't say osake, Mitzvah and l-khavero. Yes, such a use-sode. So to be mischievous, my wife is minadam l-khavero, sitting in a sleeping sugar has been adam l-mako. So it doesn't think that that would be, that would be included in the mitzvah, another amaz, another comment, that if it's a sugar that you can't sleep in,
the ramans are in tough age men, sit down, it says there, let's say there's a sugar, Misha, you know you, Khalish, you're not supposed to, so I'll go to the other right, well, sorry, wrong ramah, ramah says, if a person has a sugar, yeah, the ima-so mit-kh-kil-o, be makam shemid, stahar bach-kil-o, be-stee-o, be-shayna, oh, she, if she'll allow us, was echoing me in the sugar, ma'am, was it a mischievous, I'm gonna listen to him, I'm gonna go to the sugar, any other time, I'll just go to the sugar cloud. If you have a sugar that you couldn't possibly sleep in, because it's in a dangerous area, or because it's just not shy of the sleep in, it's too small to crunch your body up and sleep in it, or it's uncomfortable to sleep in, for whatever reason, you're not able to sleep in that sugar, and says the ramah, you're not yot-se with that sugar, anything, it's not a sugar, you're not yot-se, even eating that sugar, I feel the mishalom is stahar bach-kil-o, the lavi-ke-a-indira, shi-ul-halas shum-kalt-ra-fah, one of the dinam of a sugar, is that your sugar has to be ke-a-indira, it has to be like your house, and your house, you can do anything, you can't do anything in the sugar,
mainly, you're not gonna be yot-se in such a sugar, that's the shi-ta of the ramah. The Mishom-bura quotes several of them that disagree with that ramah, and it seems that if the ramah, the shi-taso, accepts the first shi-ta, that the reason that people don't sleep in the sugar is because of the cold, then they shouldn't have eaten in the sugar, then either, if it's too cold to sleep in the sugar, means that it's not a sugar, it's right for everything, unless you meant that no, and night was too cold, during the daytime they could've slept there, so during the daytime it's a kosher-suka, night time, it's not a kosher-suka. At the end of the day, what are the hatera-m-tana-sleep in the sugar? So we have two basic hatera-m-tana, both quarter-by-the-ramah. We have the t-shirt came to do that, it's freezing cold, and we have the fact that you're not gonna be with your wife, so if you're a single person, you don't have the wife hatera at all obviously. And if you're a married person, then you gotta look at, I mean, and then the only hater you have left
is the hater of the cold, so you have to look at how cold is cold, and I was talking in Poland, in the way you have to measure that level of cold, is let's say your house was that cold. Would you leave your house and go somewhere else when your house was that cold? So that's a question that a person has to ask themselves, it may depend on who the person is. You know, a Moshe, you know, a tender told me, that Moshe, when he would visit Monsi, would always sleep in the so-called, because in the lower he's side, he wasn't able to sleep in the so-called, because a lower he's side was terribly dangerous. And so they couldn't sleep in the so-called, and in Russia, you could type of freezing cold, so they didn't have the aptumus sleep in the so-called, so he was so excited that the aptumus sleep in the so-called, and he'd visit his daughter in some of my Monsi, and he would always sleep in the so-called, and that's why the tender was built a dining room, they built a retractable roof on the dining room, to turn the dining room to a so-called, as long as it was 90 years old, and he insisted on sleeping in the so-called, and they thought it was a sack out of room,
so they had to, they built a room for him off that, you know, as part of the house, that would be a good so-called. Shama Zaman is an interesting finish, Shama Zaman, a little summer, right, that if someone falls asleep in the so-called, the mits is to go to sleep in the so-called, the mits is not to be asleep in the so-called. So let's say there's not room for everybody in the so-called, so you can tell somebody, it's okay, you sleep in the so-called problem, and as soon as they fall asleep, you could pull them out, and then you go sleep in the so-called, because once they're already sleeping, they're already making the mits of sleeping in the so-called, not the most practical case, but, you know, I guess, this is an interesting finish in the so-called sleeping in the first place. Okay, I guess, stop so again, with Hathilov, first, just try to sleep in the so-called, if you get sick or it makes you become a hola, it becomes a stire, which, you know, very often happens to person things, I could tough it out, and then it's no problem, and then they get sick on the first night, every year, by me, every year, first night of so-called, well, not recently, thank God, reason having much better. But for a while, every year, I would get sick on the first night of so-called, now is it? That was it for me, every other night, I'd be back inside,
but if the weather is decent, it happens to be one of the most enjoyable mits supposed to do, sleeping in the so-called, very good smack, and it's a wonderful mits who we should try to, to fulfill them.
