Massive game for the Cowboys and CD Lam Hayden has him ranked very high in the rest of season rankings. Tons of other big performances as well. 3:28could be everything that we projected to be panthers 32 lions 26 man where do we even begin talking about this football game an offensive explosion here down in Carolina of course we'll begin where we always do with the team that won the football game which was the Carolina Panthers and the Panthers came into this game underhanded you know no jail and cocker in this game which I will be thinking about for the rest of time considering how Bryce young was able to carve up that line's defense that Jalen cocker couldn't be a part of these proceedings they were also dealing with injuries along the offensive line and even had further offensive line injuries during the game first round right tackle Monroe Freelink got rolled up on has a knee injury coming out of this one will monitor that going forward stone for the foresight had to play in this game at right tackle for the Carolina Panthers on the defensive side of a Jalen Phillips also got hurt with the hamstring injury late in this game all that being said the Panthers offense was still excellent against the Lions hapless defense and yes of course the level of competition here does matter the Lions defense is not good

4:43okay the Lions defense is one of the worst in the NFL especially from a secondary standpoint I don't know how long kel and shepherd is going to be able to you know withstand calls for his job but I don't really also know what he's supposed to do here I mean just from a secondary standpoint they are so so underman they have one guy really from a pass or a standpoint that you got to worry about Aiden Hutchinson who had some moments in this game but it's the one guy you've got to worry about I don't know what the Lions defense is supposed to do they're just kind of banged from a person else standpoint to the point that every single one of their games is going to look exactly like this can their offense outscore the other team tonight it absolutely could not because the Panthers offense with Bryce Young and Teteroma Mignoline were absolutely on fire let's start with wide receiver Teteroma Mignoline 16 targets 14 catches 199 yards and two touchdowns I saw it said Many times on social media tonight. It's absolutely true. It was a legendary night for team Ack the first Panther with 175 yards and two touchdown games since Steve Smith

I appreciate you guys You know this is a conversation that we've kind of been having with Teteroma Mignoline dating all the way back to actually when we talked to him at the Super Bowl back in February Shout out to producer Colin. He was pulling that clip back up Throughout tonight's game. I shared it on Twitter threads, etc all the places Because I think it's really instructive to go back to that conversation One of the things that mcmillan was Harping on it's a great you can find it on the channel here You can find the full interview But the specific question that I was talking with him about was you just kind of having him walk me through His thoughts on wide receiver one deployment in today's NFL being like a multi-alignment

6:54receiver how that can help you crack some of these modern coverages And it was pretty clear in that conversation Just how much he really wanted to be treated that way and you know I don't think this is like a fault to the coaching staff We don't need to relitigate it because for the most part throughout the Entiretive is rookie season they had nobody who could handle extra seabird duties other than Teteroma Mignoline Nobody right Jalen coca missed a chunk of that game. He wasn't fully in shape like fully activated until probably mid november Of last year the saver legett flopped as an extra seaver in his rookie or you know you can't play him consistently Hunter renfro was playing a bunch of snaps for this team. He's this you know 180 pounds maybe Was probably thinner than that coming back from a medical retirement You know, so again, we're relitigating it when I said we weren't gonna relitigate it but regardless Teteroma Mignoline spent basically his entire rookie season tethered stuck at the extra seabird spot You know 80% plus outside and on ball. I talk about this all the time

7:58If you are playing your wide receiver one And look I do think it's close right now in this moment Between coca and mcmillan in terms of who's a better player whatever I think they're very very close to really good players both of them But in that moment in time That's obviously your wide receiver one if you are playing your wide receiver one 80% outside and on the ball You are telling us either something about the player or you're telling us something about you is the play call or the offensive Designer whatever. I think Dave canals is good at this. I think Brad Edzig the new current offensive coordinator Might be even better than this by the way again Whatever You're and I don't think you're saying anything about mcmillan who to me is a prospect. Yes He profiled really well as a good extra seaver and excellent extra seaver prospect But could definitely be moved all across the formation So hearing him talk about this back in February Again the exact quote that he gave us as he's li he's going through like look at what Jackson's been thinking jigba does for the seahawks look at what pukka nakuha Does for the Los Angeles Rams you know you got to get your playmakers into all these different um spots

9:03He said exactly this quote. It's so easy to take a receiver away out of the game nowadays If you just leave him on the outside you got to move him all types of places especially that's your best player the playmaker of your offense No question tonight especially with no jalen coaker that is your best player Again, this is the eighth overall pick in the draft In 2025 this guy is a growing and emerging stud He is their playmaker of the offense and you felt it tonight This was early on in the game too he might have had another catch yet at least over 90 yards And both of the touchdowns Did tether o mickmillan when he was aligned in the slot um this was from mena kimes at about 10 22 p.m. Eastern So you know again, there's a chunk of the game afterwards mickmillan Bryce Young had a perfect passor rating when throwing to mickmillan in the slot Against the Detroit Lions tonight on the season He's been aligned in the slot about a third of the time according to next year and stats

10:06It was about a fifth Last season. So no question huge huge change in deployment here And I love by the way that the panthers were committed to doing that In this game tonight even without coaker because when you go back to the training camp Stuff with tether o it was supposed to be okay chris brazel was gonna be a big part of this remember rookie third run Pick chris brazel the panthers have had just brutal injury luck all throughout the entire season That was like the one of the first ones. It wasn't the first one Nick Scorton their past rush your second year past rush or was the first big injury But that was a big one for them losing chris brazel. It's like okay. Well, is he not gonna take the sacrificial X stuff anymore And it's not gonna keep mickmillan as the X no they're gonna keep doing it no matter what we saw down the preseason Jalen coaker is able to take some of those extra cv reps. So tether o mickmillan still gonna be able to move around the formation You then okay no jalen coaker they still just gonna tether tether o mickmillan at the extra cv respawn Nope doesn't matter doesn't matter even if your wide receiver two is Bryson Tremaine who I kind of like me a little bit of Bryson Tremaine as a dirty work guy

11:08It doesn't matter. We'll throw him out at the x john metchy Whatever We'll find a way to make sure we get it done with mickmillan. That's what good coaches do that's what good offensive play designers do We saw that tonight with Carolina like I said, I think Brad idzick is really good at this I think he has been a pretty clear Upgrade over canalus as the actual play collar here. Of course, this is still a big part of canalus's vision him and Brad have been together for Years and years and years dating back to the Seattle days They went to Tampa Bay together now they're in Carolina together, but it just really does feel Like Brad's got a little bit better Finger on the pulse when it comes to the personnel and getting the best out of these guys whether it's the receivers or Whether it's the quarterback and we absolutely have to talk about Bryce Young in this game because I thought Bryce I totally get it. It is a cupcake matchup the lion secondary is what it is, but

12:09Bryce Young when he's faced these cupcake defenses this year He's just smashing the cupcakes 200 or 329 passing yards in this one Two touchdowns 110.7 pass or rating eight yards per attempt Bryce is pushing the ball down the field consistently consistently at this point and you know my colleague Josh Norris makes this point and I think it's a good one I could not care less about Bryce Young's sats from His rookie season when he's playing with a bunch of dudes who aren't in the NFL anymore Adam Thielin He's on TV DJ Chark is retired Jonathan Mingo. Hey Jonathan Mingo is at least like in the NFL Taking snaps for the Dallas Cowboys is the wide receiver for or whatever That that that was who Bryce Young was playing with I don't care about his stats with those guys anymore quite frankly. I don't care about his stats You know in the back half of 2024 or whatever with

13:10Rookie Xavier LeGet and and you know deontate Johnson getting traded that I don't care about any of that stuff anymore I care about what Bryce Young is doing right now and with the players around him the wide receivers we're talking about you know Darren Waller being a little bit of a mismatch player as well He's getting it done man. He's just consistently getting it done when they face bad defenses when they face These players It's it's it's pretty great On pace is Bryce Young for 54 just under 54,000 54 hundred passing yards 38 touchdowns In this game tonight pff has them with 31% pressure rate like it wasn't a totally clean Night from a pressure standpoint for Bryce Young, but he still stepped up in the pocket booted out when he needed to made plays with The ball in the air a couple of good chat style right here Kell Kellum Kellum will go with Clellum you think b-y nine is MVP

14:15I don't think we're quite there with Bryce Young in terms of the MVP So I'm just not sure if the Panthers are a good enough team But there's no question he's going to be in the mix for Leading the NFL and passing yards Um, I think that's going to sustain all season like the guy is pushing the ball down the football field And he has the receivers to continue to do it I have balsamic by the way he has the defense where he's gonna have he's gonna have to do it So yeah, the Panthers definitely can win the division That which you know, it's the NFC South it is what it is But I think it's gonna be between them the Saints and the Falcons. I think the bucks that's over So tomorrow night's game Monday night make sure you're parked here on the YouTube channel because we will be having a live reaction show with Hayden Winx after Monday night football Saints Falcons that will go a long way deciding who Caroline is competition is But yeah, I don't know quite MVP yet, but Certainly somebody that has made massive improvements in his game to the point of like hey You can you can start Bryce Young almost every single week in fantasy football

15:18One of my bold predictions heading into the 2025 season was Bryce Young was gonna emerge as a QB1. So Never wrong just early Speaking of a massive fantasy football pick got to give a shout out to Chuba Hubbard here Chuba Hubbard is gonna go down as one of the absolute best picks you could have made this year and Look, I will totally admit to getting the shiny object syndrome at times with Jonathan Brooks And honestly really rooting for Jonathan Brooks and seeing like hey, can he really make something of himself here? Can he make a dent in this back? It's obviously I just don't know if Jonathan Brooks's body can hold up But no, we saw tonight was an excellent game another one from Chuba Hubbard 20 carries 122 yards Seven receiving yards of just monster on the ground 80% of the running back rushes went to Chuba Hubbard AJ Dillon chipped in for six touches as well 23 routes for Chuba 41% Of his work in this game 41% went for first downs or touchdowns

16:21He's just again going to be one of the best picks period end of story in fantasy because especially if you drafted him once He started to slip into the hundreds when he was dealing with a hamstring injury You're feeling great about that right now. He is the running back eight In fantasy points per game behind to mere Gibbs Kenneth Walker Beeshawn Robinson Derek Henry Jonathan Taylor Kyron Williams Javante Williams It's Chuba Hubbard there. I mean he is a massive value all those other guys were first Second third round picks maybe even the guys right after him Christian McCaffrey ashen genty James Cook Huge value huge value on Chuba Hubbard. He's the only guy that's giving you Running back one performances That was not drafted in the first four rounds even running back 12 this year is Deandre Swift who was a fourth round pick That's how good Chuba Hubbard has been and I think he looks fantastic out there He's been a nice not as much tonight with just the one reception, but he has been a really nice outlet receiver

17:27For Bryce Young as well in this offense You just can't honestly you just can't say enough good things about what the Panthers offense looks like right now I totally get it the Lions defense is not good. We expected them to have favorable matchups here They got the cupcake they smash the cupcake. That's all you can ask for One guy to talk about here just in maybe in a disappointing standpoint If he did end up streaming him was Darren Waller six targets three catches 36 yards It was just the team act show man six targets. That was second on the team That was second on the team for targets there With Darren Waller he was targeted, you know But all the mattered in this game was Teterona McMillan again and again and again So that's why receiver one level stuff That's that's great team building Okay, you're your second starting receiver coaker is out We're not mixing in like oh, let's get me. Let me get some designer touches in here for older

18:28Old John met you, you know, no disrespect John met you's a great story all the stuff It's like hey man. We got one guy. We got the guy. We got our guy in Teterona McMillan Let's absolutely go crazy with it a team act is absolutely a Top 12 receiver in dynasty coaker. I think is also a top 24 receiver in my latest dynasty update These two guys are tethered to a good quarterback who's evolving We'll see maybe Brad is it's gonna be like the Eagles coach in 2027 or something like that I don't know but he's on the upswing Maybe not gonna quite get that crazy hype to be a head coach here. Maybe he'll be back for another season It's all there All there for these panthers young wide receivers Teterona McMillan really having a legendary night man If you went up against him you had like a comfortable 30 point lead in your fantasy matchups heading in a Sunday football I feel bad for you if you got the Teterona McMillan hammer I was definitely checking a lot of my matchups like okay. Did I get the Teterona McMillan hammer anywhere? I did in one spot. I think I'm gonna be okay My people survive it depending on what Chris Olabe does tomorrow night, but uh, yeah

19:31J.J. Zacharyson and a lead that we're in uh, yeah, he's got the Teterona McMillan hammer So what can you do it's gonna happen to all of us? Okay, let's talk about the lions here We haven't talked about them. I've been yapping about the panthers for you know, freaking 20 minutes or whatever It was an exciting night. I like Teterona McMillan. What can I say? Okay lions though um Look a lot a lot of production on that side of it here and a lot of things that we probably saw coming right Um, I didn't necessarily see coming that they were just gonna completely abandon the run game 15 carriers for jimmyer Gibbs the only running back to get a carry in this game Uh, Vikay on the other side of it. He did have one target for 17 yards, but that's it It's the jimmyer Gibbs show seven targets for Gibbs four catches for 31 yards You know, it's like a ho hum down jimmyer Gibbs game who cares nobody feels bad for you if you're worried about the fact that he had What 77 total yards on a touchdown BFD nobody's gonna feel bad for you about that Jared Goth throws the ball 52 times in this game

20:31Because the panthers defense as mentioned is also generous on that side of it missing both of it starting cornerbacks Jalen Phillips leaves the game late in this one. Goth has 412 passing yards um Good lord. I mean everybody basically got there from the lion's side of it jamesville Williams finally had the game As we predicted on the show not not nope no back no backpats no victory laps It was so easy to see coming. I think everybody probably predicted that this was gonna be the jamesville Williams game Who knows next game for jamo he might go out there and catch two for 23 Okay, that's totally possible everybody knows what the jamesville Williams Experiences like although they're playing the Cardinals in week five So you're gonna be chasing that ceiling there for uh jamesville Williams week six they go on a buy make it the packers They get the Vikings they get the dolphins. You know, which spots you're probably starting Jamesville Williams. This was one of those spots He has the big game that everybody predicted projected You love to see that

21:31Good for jamesville Williams. There's also some plays honestly left on the field too There's a like a drop, you know There was another where he was missed running deep down the field There's always gonna be a few what if moments for jamo every single week, but he does come home here with the eight Targets goes over a hundred yards his first big game of the season. I'm on Rossane Brown And again ho hum eight seventy five Samville porta really good usage for Samville porta in this game 13 targets leads the team Eight for 84 and a touchdown Isaac Tesla also got into the mix here too four for 95 on eight targets for Isaac Tesla Really good to see that you know what these games where Detroit is gonna truly have to open it up right like the other offense Is putting their foot on the throat and then they just are in total chase mode Isaac Tesla is out there. Okay. He is a running routes like a full-time player in this offense and You know, it's not gonna be the safest play in the entire world

22:34I don't know if you're gonna really be starting him consistently But maybe when we get into that stretch in the middle of the year Where it's that dolphins game right or something like that. Maybe we'll see what the packers offense can do in week seven Maybe you're thinking about it a little bit of Isaac Tesla. It's probably gonna be the games where The other team can put the points up right? Maybe not so much the dolphins We'll see about the Minnesota Vikings they play them in in week eight But Tesla making plays for this team does matter because he unlocks the deployment for St. Brown He unlocks the deployment for James and William C allows those guys to move across the formation more Then they have in previous years because he can actually play big slot He can play on ball and he's also good enough as a vertical player to make some plays here So is he ever going to be the most consistent fantasy factor in the world? I don't think so but he made some pretty nice catches in this one They could use a receiver to step up here A little worried just about the lion's ecosystem not from an offensive standpoint

23:36But I mean just kind of their vibe right now overall um, you know They're two and two Dan Campbell seems a little like Sad I don't know. It always seems sad. I hope things are good. They're in Detroit because they're a really Fun organization at a fun offense, but roster attrition and some of these holes are real and it's so real On the defensive side of it and definitely a little bit along the offensive line as well, but again the total stats in this game Just insane Over 800 probably over 900 yards of total offense maybe I haven't checked the final count there Everybody basically got home from a fantasy standpoint Possibly good have wanted. Oh my god. The memes. Okay. The memes are out that meme in particular is out I think that means it's time to call it here on the solo Sunday night football night cap recap It was great

27:42And hey let's kick off with one of those as use and Texans fall to oh and four on the season as they lose 34 to 30 to the Dallas Cowboys I mean I'm looking at this box score C. J. Straff 347 yards two scores Nico Collins the trickle down effect is real Seven receptions 118 yards and two scores and yet Hayden This is the best game C. B. Lam has ever played 21 targets 17 receptions 189 yards and one tuddy C. D. Lam's now on pace for 2116 receiving yards through four games here This was Sensational game planning by the Dallas Cowboys going into this one I've been noticing that the Texans like middle of the field play has been kind of more busty and Like Kamari Lasseter was was struggling in one-on-one situations and in this game C. D. Lam played a season high 38% of his snaps inside the slot including the game winner where he got open

28:45On a little skinny post against Jalen Petri On that play like Florenoise. He's being sacrificed to Derek Stingley There was a couple of explosives from C. D. Lam here like he had like a 30 yard play But as you can see here almost all of his damage was just quick throws Underneath and those linebackers weren't making plays the safeties were missing some tackles here So I thought C. D. Lam played excellent football as he typically does Dac press got knew that he was going to be under Dures for a lot of this game. I saw lots of chippings from tight ends and running backs here But the game plan was chip will Anderson throw the ball into the flats to C. D. Lam and make these backups At linebacker make plays and guess what the Texans the linebackers did not make plays So I thought Dac press got played well composed football C. D. Lam dominated his matchup and then George pick and wasn't relied on too much in this game But he was drawn some coverages. He had some awesome moments Against Lassiter and then Javonte Williams Just plunged it in for a couple scores here

29:47But the story of this game to me was just the C. D. Lam slot work and I thought that was a really good game plan by the Dallas Cowboys Yeah, it feels like this the story this game was elite receivers on both sides of it too with Nico Collins coming back that that impact was Immediate. I'll pull back the curtain here for for the viewers and listeners I totally thought this was one of my games to watch too So I watched a good chunk of this one So which you know, hey if I can get a good wide receiver show out of it I think I think I think I feel fine about that But yeah, hey now I was gonna echo a lot of your points about this Texans defense it right now in today's NFL Like if you don't have the spine addressed it is really hard to be the best defense in the NFL And that is where the Texans find themselves. It's all honestly where the Eagles find themselves too Those were consensus like top three to five defenses in the league Either one of them is performed like that so far Yeah, it stinks because I think well Anderson is playing like an all-prostle Maybe the best defensive player in the league and yet the Texans are oh and four and yet they aren't one of these teams

30:48That can totally like win a game for their offense and the offense has needed that over the last couple of weeks Now sure they only allowed 19 points and ended up as cults and then 20 points and since any bingles But we're seeing other you know defensive shutdown opposition for nine seven twelve points all that type of stuff um I mean C.J. Stratt has played pretty well. Hayden. Yes, in first halves. I felt Got passes on target and then second half kind of had to press and press and press and maybe that's when some of the the negatives happened But where do the Texans go from here and uh dare I say this might be the best oh and 14 of all time in the NFL Well with Nico Collins sure like this team feels a lot different Uh, I will say like they really do need their linebackers to play better Kamari Lasseter was getting cooked by George Pickens and obviously if you started George Pickens like you don't love the stat line Two catches 75 yards he drew a defensive pass interference A couple of them in the end zone got on top of that and there was

31:50Uh, I was listening to some of the Cowboys reporters who were there and they were saying that the Texans were kind of shading the safety a little bit more towards The George Pickens side which you felt that if you're watching the CD lamb because nobody was standing next to them for the entire game So uh frustrating game for George Pickens once again CD lamb you can make an argument that he's he's right on the door of the top five top eight overall asset It definitely wanted like the guys you needed if you if you did CD lamb Kenneth Walker Your team looks pretty dang sweet right now. That was absolutely possible this season quickly on the Cowboys defense side It was still a struggle for them Uh, not stopping the run. I mean Montgomery and Woody Marks. We don't have to talk about those guys didn't go anywhere this type of game Yeah, well, we don't have to spend too much time. It's just not gonna work But the secondary has some issues. They were playing a guy ready steward Never heard of him, but I heard that name a million times in this game He was in coverage against Nico Collins The Caleb Downs messed up on the Nico Collins touchdown where bland was playing outside leverage

32:54And then Nico Collins busted it inside and Caleb Downs kind of in no man's land So there were still lots of coverage bus DeRon bland in one-on-one situations He was getting cooked by like Jalen Noll obviously Nico Collins got him a couple times as well So the Cowboys defense in the back uh back seven like we should still feel very comfortable Targeting against them and the Texans offense they really did move the ball at this point CD strouze averaging 285 yards per game He does not have an interception on the season as well and they're oh and four And that was with some of the worst wide receiver play. Yeah, definitely, but no no interceptions with some of the worst wide receiver play Without Nico Collins in the second bet he got in there 45 yard in cut The man coverage and zone touchdown versus bland scrambled real touchdowns He had a screen in there third and two slot in breaker in the fourth quarter like it was just relentless from Nico Collins So I feel very good about Nico Collins moving forward just because this offense cannot move the ball In any other capacity. It's like it's literally just him

33:55What a stud what a stud I will say because this is my this is my beat. This is my corner Jalen Noll has the explosive play 50 yard reception on the outcast Yes, early in this game and I joked on Twitter like now it's time to make sure he never sees another target the rest of the game It took until the freaking fourth quarter for him to get another target Which was just and again another explosive play 20 plus yards over the middle of the field I joked with Nate on the forecast this week that like no one must be smoking sigs and falling asleep in meetings Because otherwise I have no idea why this guy's not more involved. He did actually run a route though on 72 or 73 percent of the drop-backs Which was a career high for him and it was much more skewed toward the second half He was over 80 percent the second half. So I did hear Nick Kayleigh say like oh, we want to keep getting him work like we want to keep getting him involved We're not we're not upset with them or anything Again, I think he's a good player that that could actually help this team, but we'll see Yeah, to your point he also had a kick return on for Jalen Noll that went for an explosive there as well

34:56And Josh just quickly on the running backs Yeah, I was gonna bring the same rotation as as usual David Montgomery actually awesome play late in the game. It was a hook and ladder I forget who caught the ball someone to be in the flat in David Montgomery that goes through the B gap and catches like the the hook and ladder For I think it's what like 13 or 19 yards And then after that play woody marks get subbed in at the six yard line He scores the touchdown It's largely the same split here But like if you thought the David Montgomery is gonna get every inside the 10 yard line carry This season like you're just wrong and he's not gonna create any explosives This season because the offensive line is in the shape that it is So I don't know what you do with David Montgomery like I would sell low honestly like I don't know how this gets turned around really Yeah, that's back-to-back weeks or what he marks as a rushing touchdown and and David Montgomery does not have one Again, we would think in a game where they score 30 points and they were favorites heading into it that that on paper was a David Montgomery game

35:58But even here again 10 carries for 24 yards Simply not good enough. They do have the tenancy Titans next week. They're gonna be favored in that game So again, you might go back to the well, but at the same time this Titans Rush defense has been quite good with Jeffrey Simmons and company and then after that like hey You just simply can't play him against a team like Jacksonville Jaguars It's gotten to that point like he he farted in the in zone three times in week one ever since then He barely has you know three carries of eight yards or more if that So this is just where we're at I think with the team hey in final question to you We can say that hey the Texans defense can turn around and will Anderson is a great player and you know This Texans offense can turn around now that Nico Collins is a trickle-down player for them I'm looking at oh-and-four. I know they have some favorable teams coming up on the schedule with the Titans the giants the Chargers the Browns etc But do you think that Kaylee makes it for the entire season? I don't know what Nick Kaylee did wrong in this game to be honest like I mean He got Nico Collins the ball jaylee know how to couple a couple of explosives

37:02I like them sticking with with him and part of the lineup I mean he you can only do so much with this offensive line You know, and I think that's where it's more of like the the whole leadership of the Houston Texans This has been a problem for four straight years. I mean like how like truly how much longer could we actually Survive by by playing this way? I think Strauss had a pretty good season this year and with Nico Collins going like this team can put up some points Luckily, you know like They're in a division where they can kind of get back into things But it's most likely going to be a wildcard at this point So like you need like teams like the Broncos losing close games is that's who they're going to be competing against to sneak back in here Luckily, you know the Titans are really bad the Colts have been very up and down But they really need their linebackers to get healthy and their corners got to play like shut down corners and like this year they they have not All right, Matt speaking of offensive lineman Let's talk about the Green Bay Packers as they go into Tampa Bay and beat the bucks 1714 the bucks were I'm not gonna say a trendy NFC South champion pick, but they certainly had a lot of favorites out there

38:05They are oh-in-four on the season and they bring in Jalen Daniels I can't wait to hear how he looks after one touchdown two in reception three sacks taken in 148 yards But let's first talk about the Packers, okay? 197 yards two touchdowns for Jordan Love one interception and zero sacks taken Was this hey? Let's just do enough and get out of here with this one Yeah, I mean kind of Jordan Love was 18 to 20 on passes of under 10 air yards He actually didn't really get anything going down the field Which I thought was surprising because this bucks defense is pretty vulnerable And you know they've left a lot of voids down the field for quarterbacks like to Sean Watson and the like this year So it was a little bit surprised about that Some plays left on the field too. They had a really frustrating goal line sequence The first play of the second quarter Tucker craft drops a touchdown He eventually did score later in the game But he dropped touchdown there and then they just could not get in on the goal line until Matthew golden finally had like a pretty nice Sleeping catch along the in the end zone there

39:06But the run game actually was Significantly better for Green Bay in this game. I mean it was a true split backfield so I don't actually know if there's a real Fantasy winner here Because it was truly split kind of all over the place. Marshall Lloyd ends up leading the way in terms of touches 48% of the running back touches But he didn't get anything going on the ground He was useful as a receiver whereas meanwhile Caleb Johnson had some nice runs Kind of up the gut there like Vita Vaya was off the field and he had his longest run then But then he also fumbled in this game Chris Brooks had a couple of nice moments So again, I don't think we can come out of it The packers run game now we might want to start these guys in fantasy because it was just a true true split But you know lake and Tomlinson at least being in the mix at guard was a welcome site considering some of the other things they've rotated in and out this year Tucker crafts made so many like kind of just knucklehead moments to see is obviously that drop touchdown Was pretty killer but was able to get in like you said Was there anything different about like how they were utilizing him?

40:08I've seen seven Targets in this one Christian Watson with only three and he's he's can be like one of the tight ends I've had a difficult time ranking every single week. Yeah, because I know he has way more potential and like yard after catchability than what he's shown This season so like I'm hoping that we're like getting back to the point where we can trust Tucker craft as a top 10 option Yeah, the touchdown was frustrating, but otherwise he did have Um, it was all a lot of like short stuff and which is a little bit skewed because of course he's getting used to around the goal line But seven yards after catch per reception There is at least some moments where he looked a little bit more like Tucker craft And I think the drop just might be one of those hey, he hasn't practiced a ton He's not totally in rhythm just fluky stuff for him because this is usually a guy in his first U.C.s in the NFL who like never drop passes and he's made a few mistakes each of the last few weeks Matt to your point a 31 yard run against this bucks front with Vita Vega by Caleb Johnson and a 27 yard run by Chris Brooks Who I think I saw a packers fan refer to him as a left guard wearing number 30 which I thought was a very out A note for what Chris Brooks's role has been all season long and then there we have it marsh on Lloyd the seven carries and a long gain of five so

41:17I'm intrigued to see if the packers make any moves here Tony Pollard's name was mentioned by Adam Schaefter During Sunday morning Because something has to change I think for this team to be somewhat balanced because I know they only allowed 14 points But right now the defense isn't good enough and Michael Parsons isn't going to come back till November And then the passing game can be But yet there's zero rushing attack two counts Bounce this entire thing out for a team that loves play action I'm just quoted here from that one quote a quote a fun boy a great teacher is the bench I mean, I guess we'll find out yeah What's really unfortunate for Caleb Johnson? He fumbled in the low red zone when and I did think he had a couple of nice moments like I mentioned his His one long run did come I'm pretty sure when Vita Vega was off the field Which may have something to do with it because otherwise it didn't get a ton going up the gut But yeah, marsh on Lloyd at least did have a sweet hurdle in this game So you know if you if you want to go back and watch those highlights After you drafted him over the summer to make yourself feel a little bit better you you can do that Okay, man, I'm gonna send it right back to you with the box here jalen Daniels undraft the free agent

42:21When's the second quarterback job out of camp? I mean, that's an incredible story in itself I didn't watch a single snap of him playing here But I know people who drafted in mechek buka see four targets two receptions 13 yards So what did this passing attack look like with jalen Daniels? I mean, there was just absolutely nothing going on down field He completed two passes past 10 air yards in this game pretty much everything he only attempted I think about maybe five of those anyways. It was a lot of short get the ball out You're gonna see a lot more k dot and in the box score than you probably bargain for in this one K dot and also had an like a pretty ugly drop too Where he could have that would might have been one of the longer like catch and run situations But yeah six targets for k dot and seven for Chris Godwin Chris Godwin by the way averaged point two nine Air yards per target and it felt like that lunch in the game So you know again What do we make of jalen Daniels? He was pressured almost half of his dropbacks in this one too

43:22Which I'm still like not quite sure what to make of the buccaneer's offensive line because they They have not And again, how much is this quarterback how much is this scheme? But it hasn't been what we bargained for to start this year Some of these guys are losing just one-on-one situations, which I wasn't expecting I was really excited about this offense because of the line and that has been a disappointment So jalen Daniels under pressure a ton here could some of that have been his work pre-snap maybe but For what he is an undrafted free agent. He definitely had He he did about as well as you possibly could have expected and at least from You know if you're gonna be like an absolute sick freak in super flex He had a couple of moments where he got out there and boogieed in the open field. So there's that Yeah, I know we have some sick freaks that subscribe to the channel. So that's useful information I was not Interesting. Yeah, those linebackers is still up and down Both of them mecha's screens or receptions were screens in this one So it's yeah, you know, we know we're signing up for over there. Okay

44:23Bucky Irving I see Leads the team in carries by a wide margin But then I see the dreaded three carries for Sean Tucker with a touchdown there What's the panic meter stuff on the Bucky Irving we mentioned the offensive line not looking as great the quarterback play now It is what it is and now Sean Tucker is maybe sealing some goal line work like this has been pretty spooked Yeah, offensive coordinator Zach Robinson was asked about or I don't even know if he was asked or Unprompted brought up like we need to get Sean Tucker more work And I saw a lot of people kind of like hand waving that away this week Well promises made promises kept because he did plunge in the goal line touchdown here within inside the two yard line So that is definitely got to be concerning for Bucky Irving Kenny gainwell also scored on a receiving touchdown here too Bucky ran more routes, but didn't get any targets whereas Kenny gainwell got a few of the targets. So this is sort of that Okay, this was the the bad scenario for Bucky coming into the year where gainwell is gonna take some passing

45:24Gamework and then Sean Tucker is gonna take some goal line work and It's tough guys because I think Bucky has looked good and even had some good runs And when he can especially get to the edge and run to the outside He's had some really nice moments But he also has made a ton of mistakes this year too with like fumbles Some blown past protection some some weird drops. It's kind of like Three great plays for Bucky and then the fourth one is a really frustrating mistake So I can kind of understand maybe a coaching staff that is totally underwater is oh and four Let's just let's just throw something else against the wall and see what sticks and that could be a negative for Bucky Matt you kind of mentioned it, but this team the bucks have a quick turnaround for Thursday night football It's on the road against the Cowboys look we have stats versus film before then we have ranking shows before then But where are you at on starting these bucks teams these bucks players Against the defense like that is it is it emekik buka as a wider seabour three is it Bucky Irving as a running back to or is this

46:25Hey, some of these really fringe flex decisions. I might lean towards a different quarterback and not rely on jalen Daniels Yeah, I also really worry that I mean the type of quarterback Jordan love is he's always gonna kind of Hunt for explosives and you know obviously in this game they don't find a ton of those But I worry about the type of quarterback that deck press got is is a specifically bad match up for a Todd bull's defense Where he can just be surgical and find the like Kurt cousins always would tear up this bucks defense Replace the smart pre yeah just replace the blitz and like he could do that all game And I that would make me a little nervous for Bucky Irving who I do think now is entering that boom bus running back to phase And for mecha buka I can you even call him a wide receiver three Like I think he looks good. I think he looks good on tape He's like he's separating But he is also running These long developing big over routes and just based on what we saw today jalen Daniels is not going to hit those consistently certainly I mean, I think it's probably a bit of a wash like packers defense cowboy's defense

47:27I would probably expect more the same But a buka's a talented player that can certainly get through but I don't even know that I would call him a wide receiver three at this point Okay, I mean while the packers have the bears next so can't wait for that conversation and that game coming up all right I'll take it next Jacksonville Jaguars 22 since the 90 bingles 17 Joe burrow throws for 428 yards and the bingles why Well the bingles only ran for 23 yards in this game jimarchace left in the first half with the concussion And then driving to win the game they get to the plus 45 putty but t higgins is out with a groin injury after catching 11 passes for 157 yards in this contest and then joe burrow had two rough interceptions Which were easy like the two worst plays of the day for him conversely the Jaguars leading receiver was Britain strange with 95 yards on Seven targets including a clutch third and eight to set up what turned out to be the game winning touchdown

48:31I think we can copy and paste that middle of the field tied in targets against his bingles defense Until they show us that they can stop it Brian Thomas Jr popped up with a touchdown. Thanks to Parker Washington literally pulling two defenders away wide open the back Pewash unfortunately for us finishes with just one catch for seven yards that catch was initially ruled a 39 yard gain But he stepped out of bounds and he also had a nearly big catch between two defenders But couldn't corral it like he had kind of been doing in the opening three weeks of the season just keep going with this I mean it was a weird contest in that chris right regas scored a 25 yard touchdown Like the one snap that Dexter Lawrence was not on the field But basal tooton Had another nearly day. I mean two touchdowns called back one for 45 yards It was a clear hold good call against Ezra Cleveland and then another goal line touchdown Also holding and called back So yeah, I mean this Jaguar's team they are We stop the run and we play to create turnovers on defense and then we have enough pieces and good coaching to get it done despite some

49:38Maybe offensive line issues up front But again, they are three and one with some really tough games in their rear room here I think the bingles defense is just so fast ending we see in the box score again I was just looking at it last year They allowed the most Fantasy points to tie dents at 21 per game to opposing tie dents And then they were third best against fantasy wide receivers and then exactly that happens once again So is it like almost as simple as that on the park or Washington stuff? I thought it was going to like you know Avaid DJ Turner is be able to beat up on everybody else But I guess if tie dents are open over the middle of the field all game long Like you know, that's just going to be the first read on a lot of this stuff Yeah, from what I could tell we'll go through in satsura system They ran a ton of 12 personnel like they were zooming in on naked bore culture and some of these other guys Right, and so if that's the case then p wash is lining up on on the outside and seeing DJ Turner I mean again, this bingles team has definitely improved I mean they they sacked your alliance four times and

50:39On the outside and the defensive one they've invested so much it truly has improved But again the linebackers and the safeties it met is not matching up with The talent and the elevation that the other units have for sure Yeah, I just worry they're going to be one of those funnel defenses over the middle of the field Yeah, I'll certainly be interested to see the park or Washington like go back and watch that tape because You would think he's about 46% snaps in the slot here You would think he would have avoided DJ Turner a good bit in this one And also this can just be as simple as like hey stuff happens Unless you're And even frankly this happens to the big boys at wide receiver Josh like even if you're even like through anybody other than like the two or three best receivers in the league You're going to have games like this like this is just part of it I mean, I know people we freaking out about it all week, you know Winning and crying, but like this is what happens to basically every wide receiver in the league If you are a wide receiver to this happens if you're a wide receiver three this happens almost every week It's very frequent. Yeah, so yeah, like like you're saying unless you're top five top eight

I mean annihilation hit so that sucks and then chase brown couldn't get going in the Russian game at all But chase brown had eight catches heading into this game and here he is for 11 catches 471 yards And then micacicki split the safeties catches three for 40 and a touchdown and if one

I mean this is just where our jobs become so impossible because things change so quickly There is no reason to think that Drake may would be the quarterback one in fantasy As of this recording right now and that Romeo dobs Would have another drop that goes to an interception uh and by the way I thought that was kind of Drake may has fought more than anything was a bad ball But then after that he has a fourth and three catch that leads to a one-handed fade Touchdown he also had a high point skinny post touchdown earlier in the game So he finishes with a monster game after looking Unplayable and the Patriots quite frankly they didn't want to play him when AJ Brown was healthy The reason why these guys get going is like Mac Collins he leaves in the third quarter with a calf injury So by the end of this game when this thing is really close going back and forth It is efftim chism Who's on the field in very key situations he beat

57:00Harrison you know who really struggled again in this game the bills didn't have their top corner in this one He beats a Harrison for a first down and then has the one-handed grab of his life where it was someone handed grabs There's like a little bobble element to it where yeah he only uses one hand this was just like Boom caught it and that was an awesome Awesome moment for him The running backs. It was kind of like the same old Split there nothing neither of them had like the monster game like nothing stood out like on tape there But the offensive line like how did a couple Kind of gaff but for the most part to me like the thing that stood out for the Patriots more than anything was Drake made just using his legs 54 rushing yards in this one This is something Mike Brable talked about after the game like that was the difference We get to the the bill side in a second here not as much Scramble around for Josh Allen and this one Drake made pulled a pull to way And then kind of some no-nameers that were written off Got going him so really fast in the game the Patriots were gonna be in deep trouble if they did not pull off this upset and that they did

58:03Yeah, hey just on the Romino dobs stuff what type of routes was he getting the catches on because I think he's been sneaky like really misused as a vertical Racist what 27% go routes in the first three weeks of the season So both of us touchdowns that you have a fade and then a post routes So those were more down field routes, but for the most part it was more like the quick out variety It felt a little bit more packers coded there There was a couple moments from Drake made to Romeo dobs and other players where just like You know, it's the middle of the field I wouldn't these aren't going to be in highlight reels but like just throwing the ball perfectly over zone defenders Near the sideline toe drag so it wasn't just Romeo dobs on that But there was a lot of awesome moments from Drake made near the sideline there So yeah, I think kind of encouraging for for Romeo dobs You know the fact that Mac Collins if he if he does miss with his calf injury That's how we get Romeo dobs to like literally a hundred percent of the snaps And you like pop Douglas these guys you can only trust them So much I think that Romeo dobs becomes definitely very interesting as a wide receiver three next week

59:05I'm open to Mac Collins uing theory situation here. I'll just say yeah Okay, Hayden I have to ask because I just dropped Drake made the experts late for CJ strat which worked out, you know, just overall for my sanity But did I make a mistake like Drake may throw us for 269 yards here Previous high I think in a game was 209 yards he had two others under 200 yards So is this real how many games you need to see for this to be real once again because again It's not like he just opened the season Poorly he finished last season in the playoffs miserably So we almost have a longer stretch in the last seven games of him Turned the football over and all that type of stuff which he's still to hear at the interception and a loss fumble um Then we do him like playing good football as of late Well the schedule opens up so like that's the first thing you instead of facing the Seahawks dealers in jabs wide Now you get the yeah exactly now you got the raiders jets bears dolphins packers

1:00:07And we'll see if if Micah Parsons is available So like one thing we got the schedule going his way I will say watching the game the offensive lion is still in trouble I thought that the right guard replacement was not playing very well There was like there's still like kind of you know scheming around will Campbell and there's some moments again to will Campbell that lets some pressure And then on the the bills defense side There's just like the cornerback plays just not good enough, you know And I think that's especially true with with benefit and they put benefit in some pretty difficult situations But when he's not out there like they just don't have like top and corners at the moment So that's like obviously helpful when you know Romeo doves and effing chisem are winning their one-on-ones like at the catch point That's you know that to me is like definitely a little bit damning on the buffalo bills side of things too Hey now, I also want to ask on the opposite end. Let's go to the bills Um, you know the first two weeks for dawn concade were incredible, you know five receptions 130 yards seven receptions 95 yards Should we almost view him like the wide receiver two conversation that we had before where it can just be

I was listening to variable after the game and they said one of the big keys was getting rid of dawn concade there But you know you would hope that when DJ Moore he leaves like going into halftime It's a setback of the same injury. I guess you should want to get the injection or there's just too risky or whatever it was But there's some certainty going into next week where like You know his upside is like just proven too high now He's there's definitely a big tear break between the top guys, you know like I think George Kittle has like obviously like surpassed the dawn concade range At this point, but like you're still starting him in most situations I think he's still like a flex play if you have them especially if DJ Moore is not out there the guy that stepped up Was key on Coleman and I can say just watching the film There were more real moments this week than there has been in previous key on Coleman blow up games He had a fantastic play on the sideline his touchdown

I'd be curious on stats versus film or whenever you guys are watching this game back If he just looks like a half second um faster there And they also had like a little motion first read explosive underneath as well So there was like some real stuff that key on Coleman was doing in this one But unfortunately for the for the bills you know Cleo secure has a fumble in the two-minute drill like that that gave the patriots an opportunity that they of course failed on But there's nothing like really that crazy bad about the bills offense here It's just one of those games where their defense allows 29 By that James Cook looked good not having DJ Moore proved to be Definitely hurtful at the margins But secure got going underneath He and Coleman had a big game So I don't really have like anything crazy to say about the bills offense at all Yeah, I'm really curious about Keon 34% snaps in the slot for him here You know, he's someone that I didn't want to see just kind of tethered at extra seabour even early on in his career

So Matt I have to ask you RG Harvey 10 reception 68 yards That's disgusting This was a sickening offense to watch today with the Denver Broncos I mean seriously before that final Drive which this is kind of what the Broncos have been with bonics It's really really frustrating to watch and then they kind of come alive in the fourth quarter

1:09:44But it was outrageous and so much of this RG Harvey stuff and credit to him He made a couple of plays with the ball in his hands at least one where he actually got Then a good chunk of yardage afterwards. He also nearly caught I mean, they didn't lose in the game But he almost fumbled on the final drive When you know luckily the Broncos were able to jump on it So I don't even know how good of a player RG Harvey is but he is just getting check down after check down after check down Bonics Has got to let these plays develop a little more Sean Payton's asked after the game about Davis Webius's play collar. He said quote It's too early to consider it's a fair question. I appreciate it It's tough to discuss any of that right now. So I don't really even know though if I want to blame Davis Web on this because They cannot run the football against the team that you absolutely can run the football on JK Dobbins looks like he's taking a step back the offensive line is a little bit Underperforming there and then it's just so much check down nonsense with bonics to RG Harvey It was like I said very very very very tough to watch um if I was a Broncos fan this would be driving me crazy right now

He catches it and he makes the defender miss and walks into the end zone Thank god too because you know, I was ready to lose my mind with the Waddle stuff because His one target actually down the field he drops um which I don't know Jalen Waddle to have like drop issues But he has had a couple of rough ones to start this year Uh, that was just a catch he absolutely should make uh, but then he catches everything else that goes his way But it's again a lot of the short stuff and I guarantee you go we're gonna go back and watch your tape Yeah, there's a lot of explosive play is left on the field for Jalen Waddle But here we are at least he gets into the end zone with the touchdown He does lead the team uh in route participation with 82% as well Yeah, the Waddle stuff it just is what it is now like we need to kind of recalibrate all of our Hype pieces and high podcasts about him this summer Um, where I thought what they traded for him all the routes and the styling that they do and off of play action and all that type of stuff would

1:12:53Kind of make him at least a consensus Why do see for two on a weekly basis, but Matt it's that roller coaster that we're talking about some weeks ago for a hundred and a touchdown And then some weeks will go for like two catches for 27 yards I mean, I think he's still a wide receiver too. I like he's ultimately I think he said I grow last week where he's Gonna you're not gonna Have taken a loss that you took him in the fourth round But the idea that he could maybe be like a big win player at that cost I don't think that's happening just because I don't think the offense is really functioning at that level I was hoping that Waddle coming in here would also Kind of coincide with a leap for bonix and you know through four weeks He's deaf. I mean, I don't know how you could not say he's one of the most frustrating quarterbacks to watching the NFL right now Yep, all right Let's stick in that a fc west because this is a barn bird And the chiefs come out on top 30 to 27 Over the loss Vegas Raiders um

1:13:53I had this whole write-up about how you know the chiefs had played in these big close moments And the Raiders haven't like the Raiders were up 1917 335 to go the chiefs were facing a third and five Patcher homes connects with tyquon thorton on a 55 yard versus zero coverage Then kinwalker scores the next play and suing kickoff Raiders fumble very next snap kinwalker scores on another 21 yard run So then they lead at 30 to 19 But again, I think it shows that this Raiders team is slightly different in that They showed fight to get back in it and enough fight to even almost get into fuel go range and possibly even win this game In the end like I understand this Raiders defense might not have a ton of talent But they were pressuring and moving patch mohomes relentlessly he only finishes with two sacks But it was not an easy day for him 15 of 30 for 225 yards in two touchdowns and then Other than you know a freaking 76 yard run from kineth walker the third the first three quarters

1:14:54They did a fantastic job kind of bottling him up as well But what the chiefs have found are some exposed to place a 76 yard run like I said to Kay Walker a 55 yard To tie one thorton a 42 yard run out and up to tie one thorton which unfortunately on the first one of those He uh breaks or dislocates his ankle on a hip drop tackle and he was easily with their wider seaver one And then a 41 yard shot to Xavier worthy and isolated 101 coverage before so hey We always talked about patch mohomes in the downfield pass and in not hitting out previous seasons It was the best today than I've seen it in a very long time So unfortunate on the thorton injury Because he he was ballin and he's just been their best downfield receiver for you know the last Sense tiry kill has left like I don't think that's an exaggeration So he's gonna be out for the season. I'm assuming here and Rashi rice left pretty early in that game with with the hamstring injury as well and I'm you know He's had a lot of injury lower half injuries. So I'm assuming that's gonna be multiple weeks. So Josh like are we at the point where the chiefs like are gonna be making phone calls for for wide receivers

1:15:56It can't be Xavier worthy in what Cyrus Allen And jalen rollo's like that's like the current rotating that is way too small of a room You can't do Xavier worthy in Cyrus Allen As your top to the targets out there's like jerry judy tiry kill like what do you think their plans gonna be Yeah, totally. I mean it was a seven yard catch in the open field for Rashi rice. It's first of the day No one touches them instantly grabs his hamstring and goes off to the sideline Um, and yeah, they said jalen rollo's would come in and replace him Jalen rollo's drew two targets and zero catches on the day So that that shows you where you're at with with jalen royals um, drop the The the Travis Kelsey two catches for 15 yards on the day What wasn't even close to what we saw before and so I think teams understand that if you slow him down Then you slow down this passing attack, but what Hayden like who's out there is jerry judy and his up and down in consistency and like Being there in the right place at the right time exactly what this passing offense needs maybe it is But uh, I'm a bit skeptical of that too Matt

1:16:59Honestly Jerry judy is a really Difficult player to talk about because he's gone from really overrated to basically everybody hates him now um, I think there's still a useful player in there and he's always been a better man coverage receiver than his own coverage receiver Which is kind of what the chiefs need right they need a little bit of a man beater and If you can have jerry judy do with the 2024 dendra broncos did I already see me I he did it a lot of to sandwich against the broncos in that season with the browns did I know it was de james winston's can but it's also just hey We're gonna have you run in breaking routes digs and posts and overs on play action just plan your no dancing Just plant your foot foot in the ground and rip it inside Like judy can do that and for a team that is hunting explosive playsoff play action I could talk myself into it um, you know being useful for Kansas City from a fan from maybe fantasy standpoint I don't know but useful for Kansas City for sure for if they trade for jerry judy Matt dare I say that they maybe should get sirus out on a bit more involved like he has been truly down the pecking order

1:18:01And I'm not saying this preseason was you know worthy of being a a top two water receiver on a team after being late-round pecking all that type of stuff But main amendment coverage that is him and he still wasn't very involved here. So maybe a week of practice and we can get that a little bit more I mean how many beers have we had boys that's the thing, you know For sirus Alan. I mean he lost a ton of time in the offseason too So they did they've talked about that where he fell behind a little bit because of that Let's talk about the Raiders here In the first three series there were 22 offensive snaps And Ash and genty had nine snaps and Mike Washington had nine snaps It really felt like Mike Washington was the you know Ball carrier and then Ash and genty was the receiving back And so that's basically what we got outside of two minutes drill in the first half then as soon as we get out of half time Ash and genty has a 7 6 and 28 yard run He's easily their best back and finishes with all this receiving production and rushing production on the day

1:19:06Unfortunately, he again hobbled up hobbled off with an ankle injury Trainers walked him to the sideline. So this is Four games in a row like truly four games in a row where he's had some type of an ankle ailment and Hey, and what we keep talking about is This is holding him back and I think that clink kubak is going into these games with the idea of okay I have to split it up because I have to maybe save some of the juice that he has But again that is still leading us to him being in and out in some critical situations Yeah, first 15 plays it's Ash and genty seven snaps Mike Washington six So yeah, that's that's a storyline. I know it didn't finish that way like like you like you're saying But that's you know that this is might be a little bit more hot handy and you would hope that you know your top 10 pick Gets the hot handle a whole lot more than your fourth round. I do think it's injury related for like the vast majority of it I do think a lot of it is injury okay Okay Right And then Brock Bauer finishes with the touchdown to make it the 27 points

1:20:08um Was kind of kept quiet for a long period. We did get some cool Brock Bauer's man sort of lane reps Harmon, I know you're gonna watch those this week too And then Michael mayors a second leading receiver with eight for for 82 And then shadow Cody white. I mean Cody white role player across the league Just continues to stack reps had to win versus man sort of lane that Nearly set this team up for for another big score. So um Yeah, the Raiders are like way more frisky than I was giving them credit and once again Kirk cousins he finishes with an interception on the last play of the game But he throws for 365 yards 52 dropbacks and zero sacks taken like Kirk is just spending the pill man Love to see it Kirk is going out In style here and it's gonna be a long time I think until they even consider benching him because yeah had to love Clint Kubiak at the halftime interview Josh saying like We're gonna win this football game. They didn't win this football game. I get it But yeah, um definitely nice to see that for the Raiders like they're they're a real football team

1:21:10They're they're definitely a real football team. I wish for Ashden gentys sake that their buy came earlier than it does But they don't have a buy until week 13 because yeah, I think he's a guy that looks like and he needs a week off Yeah, I I totally agree with all of that Again, the the Raiders are just a more complete team than than I was expecting four games into this season. All right The LA Rams two and two to the enough Eagles two and two as Los Angeles wins 24 to 20 in this game Hayden um, I mean, I think the big storyline is Pukin Akua returning for nine catches yeah 125 yards on 12 targets. How do you look? I that he looked mostly the same there wasn't like crazy big explosives where you were able like see him like just you know Open up to see how exactly fast he was there were some contested catch moments He had one against reek wool and that he was able to bring down like consistently involved in the offense was playing For for most of the snaps on top of that the the one thing that has me just a little bit spooked is Aaron Andrews on the sideline right as a game was getting going

1:22:14He called the injury a pre hernia injury Yep, and then all the Twitter doctors jumped all over that and they said pre hernia injury means partial hernia injury and that's basically a ticking time bomb if this happens or not It it probably reminds me of like the Matthew Stafford injury from last year where you know if it gets managed The upside so awesome and you can be the guy that you need didn't fantasy this year And then also an indifferent simulation. He's hurt next week has hernia surgery and he's out for more than a month So the the production I looked on the film he had awesome moments in and tough matchup all that excellent To me like the you know officially getting pre hernia stuff from the the team there makes me a little bit spooked Um 13 targets for karen Williams Hayden were these like yes I mean it looks like from an area on standpoint these were still um I talked about this on the show last week where these are like real downfield targets for karen Williams is that more of the same this week

1:23:16Yeah, so Philadelphia's defense is it's similar to Houston right now Just over the middle they're just not the same unit zack bond injured jalen Carter just not himself Jonathan Bernard walks off injured in this one they just got him on the field two weeks ago Cooper de jean he uh is limping around for a minute as well So a lot of the star players on the Eagles defense were not available and Particularly over the middle karen Williams was just given jihad Campbell like just the business the entire game jihad Campbell first round linebacker it has not been pretty um and on tape uh he was such a good athlete he made some incredible plays in college The down to down consistency with him has just been up and down and then karen Williams To basically win the game there run to the left on the outside breaks a couple tackles including to joseye a trotter their other lineback or jeremia trotter Uh the other linebacker out there. So you know just some of the

1:24:17Complete star level talent is just not like playing that way or available on the filadalfi at eagles defense Which made like the the Rams first half of that game All the more confusing because they were this close to so many big plays and then the second half of the game That offense was absolutely humming and a lot of it was just pukinakua or karen Williams Yeah, we talked about this on on some show last week that The eagle's having to pay so many of their defensive stars and some other players meant they had to let Niko bdingo who's playing really well for the Raiders uh read blank and ship and you know you saw mccuba get picked on As well, so it's just something that they can't have to roll with again. I don't want to overlook that This is unbelievable from karen Williams like 16 carries for any yards and then 10 receptions for 67 yards Like he has believed escaped this I'm not sure four point game we get this role with like core him who only had five carries on the day and one catch Like this is a total eclipse of exactly what we could have hoped for when drafting tyrant

1:25:19career high 10 receptions is 84 snaps so that that thing that you keep talking about Josh where if they're winning He's most likely to score to touchdown or if they're trailing what they were trailing the entire second half of this game He doesn't come off the football field and beyond that it's like you know some some slot work But even if it's not like Exact slot work Matt you'll see like he's the first or second read on all these concepts And it's because they just have a mismatch and all the trust in the world for for karen Williams to to make a quick move and obviously Matthew Stafford trust him Okay, let's talk about the Eagles here. There's a whole bunch of tweets that I could rattle through One from bill barnwell Eagles were up by 10 points with a third and goal from the two yard line with eight minutes to go and lost Another from Ben solach Eagles went over 12 on third down against the Rams Went over five in the second half last week against the Bears their last third down conversion was over 90 minutes of game Clock so go then another one from Jake and I won't read this full thing because it has explicit Senate Jalen hurts had to make a toll of one play in the second half to win this game and couldn't do it

1:26:23The Rams were that bad. I know the injuries are stacking but are we effing serious? Is all that fair So I stole all my notes there about the the third down stuff it was brutal and they had a couple key Just like unfortunate fourth down plays it was like fourth and one and a half in it was a failed push Now that their own 37 yard line up 10 I like the decision the problem is when you have a new center and now cam jurgens is playing left guard And now you don't have macaque uh beckton at right guard office that's been a couple seasons But like the absolute peak of the push versus this version of the push has mattered There was also plays where I thought cam jurgens was getting uh losing one on one reps as well And then later in the game uh they're at the two yard line fourth down And the first read goes to don tv and wicks that gets turned down because you got absolutely just like No separation on that play and that fourth down goes incomplete There was just a lot of plays where it's like third and four uh they absolutely need a play from zackerts and zackerts can't make a play

1:27:25There was just like too much too much of like You know all the backups just stunk, you know like it kind of comes down to that Jalen hurts did not make any plays by himself and to to that uh treats point there But there was so many like all the backups did absolutely nothing except Darius Cooper who He must I forget which uh deep I remember that quintin like that probably should have been interception That goes darius koopers way for a touchdown and then a scrambled drill touchdown for Darius Cooper where he just hits the brakes in the back of the in zone Uh in scores a touchdown Not that much from macaque lemon a little curl in the perimeter third down slot win versus uh kitchens as well But nothing like too explosive from him don tabian wicks defensive passenger appearance on tremic duffy But nothing too crazy from him uh and then the like you know the the ground game is still so hit miss uh third and two loss They were tom Brady absolutely lost his mind because on third and two they can't run the ball up the middle

1:28:27They're doing these horizontal runs and cam jurgens got beat on that play um So yeah say quant leaves immediately and the backups weren't able to do anything really Yeah, hey now i was gonna ask you like one to ten How screwed do you think this eagles offenses, but then you said the phrase they needed zackers to make a play and i Kind of feel like that answers the question By the way this team has to go uh overseas and play new uh play uh jackson bill in england Next week, so just with the doctor ordered In tears not good enough lane johnson an hour before the game He is ruled out for personal reasons. I they didn't know exactly what that was I was listening to Brandon Graham with on the wolf's uh podcast after the game and Brandon Graham's kind of like hinting that like Come on man, you got to be out there Uh, so like i don't know what's going on with the lane johnson stuff But he is almost like saying like that he had some insight on what's going on what's going on there But yeah, it was the the fewest yards in the seriana uh seriani um ira

1:29:29Is it one of those games where like They're injured they should have won this game But like all the backups had a moment to make a play and they couldn't do it and then jalen hurts You know like this could be a product of of your surroundings and the surroundings weren't very good And he just really didn't do a whole lot with it Do we need to review them a kyle him and tape or is there anything that popped out at all or was it just a no go from the jump Like this is a rookie first there was a you know Yes, yeah, there has not been the explosive play uh, he had a third down slot win He had a little curl on the perimeter, you know, there was more real route stuff going on here But what was his biggest play it was it was nothing so like Yeah, you know, you're not like watching the fird you're like wow there goes that first rounder You know like he's he's has a role in the offense. He's not doing the most with it. He also doesn't look Unacceptable either um, but you know like this would be a great game for him to go crazy and and he didn't Can I address the sake one Barclay stuff just real quick um since you know people who watch the channel

1:30:30Probably drafted kin walker the third in the second round But then they drafted sake one Barclay in the first first round So I think we can see from who the equals are after four weeks that it certainly wasn't going to hit The highs that I was hoping for for sake one Barclay even if he's doubt healthy this year But I will also add that I think this is just Unagree justly bad run out for sake one like in week two he gets sidelined on the first carry because of a stinger He missed the goal and touchdown from there in week three He rushes for 73 yards in the first half and the defense gets team rolled so he gets phased out of the game And then week four after three touches his hamstring explodes So like this just really sucks for a guy who Needed good blocking and then when he got good blocking showed explosives and yet It's like the worst possible injuries to all of you because in two of the four weeks he's gotten injured After one or three touches and that is even worse for your face you lineups than playing them. Yep. So hey, it just sucks overall Yes, always worse when you know they get hurt you rather get to zero when you have somebody else in your starting lineup when they're leaving games early

1:31:32But that's that's fantasy. Yeah And this seems like it might be a multi-week thing here Harmon just because the hamstring and how we looked immediately and all that type of stuff Okay Let's move on Because we got to talk about the L.A. Chargers. I mean they put up 23 points That's a moral victory. Is it not? Nope. They're oh and four as Seattle improves a three and one with 30 points of their own Matt Emmanuel Wilson a big pickup on wafers and immediate start How do you look because I see 81 yards in the ground in the score and then also I mean 39 yards in the air and another score Dude, I thought Emmanuel Wilson looked really good in this game I think when we go back to watch the tape and like look at the coverage numbers and stuff We're gonna see a lot of like quarters cloud too high stuff for the charges here Because it certainly felt like he got a lot of light boxes But how often have we watched the sea ox run game the last two years not be able to take advantage of these light boxes consistently

1:32:33So he was just ripping through some of these runs broke a lot of tackles 120 yards from scrimmage for Emmanuel Wilson Like I said, I thought he 3.5 yards after contact per rush He made the most it wasn't just like oh he got lanes and that was that and he plotted his way to all this production I thought he legitimately looked really good The sea ox offensive line. I did think gave him some good rushing room But overall like he was the man 75% of the touches in the backfield went his way. This was not like a you know George Hullani change of pace or a situation. It was Emmanuel Wilson And like it certainly has felt like they needed a guy of this skill set For this team to just have more of a st a sustaining tempo type runner in in the mix You know Jackson Smith and jigwa you get 76 yards here. Like I said, I feel like we're gonna go back and watch this down game that they Yeah, down game. Oh boo hoo Right That's I'm that's even that's a down game for a real wide receiver one

1:36:39A marian hampton does end up sneaking into the end zone on a goal line carry or red zone carry late in the game So he does he's not a total zero, but this is something Boone and I talked about on the forecast this week where you know I know it's like it's obviously just all downhill for hampton it can get worse and it can continue to go down He doesn't score that touchdown He's a complete dud in fantasy and that's kind of where you're relying on him at this point So I know you're selling low and people were given Boone a bunch of crap about that It's like yeah, you're selling low because this thing can go lower and I think it is going lower here as Harbaugh said It was good for the team especially Like I mentioned Keaton Mitchell giving him a little spark there, but just The fact that this run game is is what it is is a is a big problem like just in Herbert was their most useful Russia today on some scramble oh Yeah, three of 17 snaps from our in hampton on late downs as well That's just going to come on a vital and then Keaton Mitchell is getting the designed first read target type of stuff when the back Go that looks like What's the latest on lad mcconkey? Joe all gets hurt in this game. That was a huge problem The left tackle gets his butt kicked like I said a strip sack there and lad mcconkey 23 snaps no production It's just like we've had one half a football with a healthy lad mcconkey for this season and

1:40:51Is this crazy and this is supposed to be a gym harbohel team like they're they're dumb on off at They're dumb all over the field and they can't do anything right on offense This is just so not what we bargained for with this team And just quickly with Jesse men are gone from this defense They've allowed 26 26 24 and 30 points over the first four games now Obviously some of it the offense is putting them at a disadvantage because they can't sustain drives And they're turning the football over and all this type of stuff But that's a big shift for where the chargers I felt were Yeah, offensively last season Well, it's like I said they I think today when we go back and watch the tape and look at like the coverage numbers They clearly sold out to stop the vertical pass game with sam d'art on a JSN Well then a manual also runs it down your throat all game So it's just one of those things where cool you can sell it to stop one thing which you didn't even I mean still JSN had a perfectly fine game So yeah, it's just they're they're not good on either side of the ball. They're they're one of the worst teams in league Okay, let's talk to Chicago Bears because they're three and one and two and no with backup quarterbacks and different backup quarterbacks

1:41:54Or for last two weeks as they beat the New York Jets 23 to 12 The Bears earned 34 first downs in this game the Jets had 32 overall place The time of possession was 42 minutes to 17 minutes outside of one 58 or touchdown catch by Isaiah Williams the Jets truly got overwhelmed from start to finish like The Jets even got their first interception in 643 days and it did not matter So let's spend the entire conversation on the Chicago Bears instead common-ung guy handled 30 carries common-ung guy 30 carries because deontory swift fumbled in the third quarter and basically a one-score game and didn't touch the ball again after that In fact, Rocheon Johnson was getting carries inside the five and ten so yeah, then Johnson definitely punishes you if you fumble And monon guy was awesome 146 yards on the ground two touchdowns Meanwhile deontory swift was stuffed twice at the goal line in fact both were called touchdowns on the field and then both were reversed in the booth afterwards

1:42:59Meanwhile again monon guy scored twice and then I want to bring up Tyson Beijing Okay Very solid number one thing with him. I think he has some ability to his game Lost a touch on his throws and he was really following through with all the play calls that Ben Johnson was putting out there That led us to you know Roma Dunze for six for 94 in in break for 37 yards and set up a field go before halftime other outbreakers to Luther Burton five touches for 74 yards and then even colston lovlin colston lovlin six catches for 57 Including a few in the red zone that just didn't convert into scores And maybe most importantly cleaf raiment just two catches for six yards So I think the passing game could have pressed even more if they were pressed But they weren't they just played ball, you know control long drives and out that's all they needed to do Yeah This is like what we what we thought we were getting with the bears passing distribution at least right like a dunes on the field for every single snap Nice to see him have 94 yards after social media told me his career was over last week

1:44:03So that's good to see 94 yards for him leads the team at nine targets For colston lovlin Luther Burton made some plays to So Josh like I'll be back to base expectations with this bears passing game or still too early to say No, I think we are like Tyson Baygent had an interception Um, he had think it another one called back to but He was quite solid. I kind of agree with Bears brass in that he's one of the 32 best quarterbacks in the NFL potentially Like maybe around backup quarterbacks maybe like just behind Marcus Mario to if we're ranking them on the fly Um, it's like the Packers defense and the Falcons defense of of these next two So these are total games that if like Ben Johnson again had to push and throw the ball more to me They could have just been extremely effective doing that all day But instead they just were able to gash this jet defensive line over and over and over again How is the colston lovlin usage specifically? He's been the one that I'm you know struggling

1:45:04There's so many tight ends kind of right right around him that how encouraging was the nine targets Um If I had to read it just with my eyeballs live a lot of it was zero to five yards and there weren't these huge crossing routes Nine 12 yards on the field that would you know transform him from being you know the gimme's in the passing game to Explosives in the passing game again He did have two or three targets in the red zone one of those went down to the five yard line or even tighter than that But it didn't it wasn't anything that wowed me Unfortunately, but at least he was involved like maybe I'm not gonna say this in the baseline every single week But he at least was more involved than he has been in in the past Unfortunately on the opposite with the jets We all played and picked up canyonsadik he had four targets and zero receptions He did have an early Screen called towards him It was tipped at the line of scrimmage and he couldn't haul it in This is just goose eggs across the board

1:46:05But it really is because this offense like literally could not get anything going Gina was eight of 15 for 119 yards with 58 of that coming on one play And braille and Alan was the only player in the backfield to get a touch But then only equal 16 touches for 67 yards I think devon bush got out there and said that this was the easiest game I've ever played in I'm not so at all and that kind of settles it My god devon bush too Yeah, yeah, I'm seeing 12 routes for canyonsadik You're not guess what you're not getting a tight-end one performance off the waiver wire if if the guy runs 12 routes He was also like banged up late in the week in practice too. Hockinson going crazy against what might be the worst past defensive ever seen For and no and we have no clue about the offense like it's it's one of the biggest no I mean like that's like it's I don't even know how to like recalibrate this And what makes it so fascinating is the rest of the division's offenses are gonna be hanging out 30 burgers the entire season So like therefore know it that they got Brian Flores But like at some point we guys come more than 15 points and get the dolphins I hear you speaking of the dolphins, you know the fantasy football group think myself included Said Ali Gordon is splitting the nine and a half fantasy points in half of Devon H&W with Jalen Wright Ali Gordon had two explosives in this game and that equaled You know 90% of his work he had a 53 yarder which was kind of a run to the left side between the guard and the tackle And then guess what his what 25 yard touchdown run was almost an identical play

1:55:31So I mean good for him. It's it's you know only 11 touches But he showed I think some explosive ability that the dolphins have been lacking All season long and then I did want to bring up one explosive that didn't get there It was a I think like 68 yard touchdown to Chris Bell who truly finishes with three zeros Uh that Malik will as buys 10 seconds of time and Dumps into Chris Bell who breaks tackles and runs through everyone and everything of the sort and yet he steps out Just before he catches the football so it's it's illegal touching and that play is drawn back So it's one of those truly Awesome plays that never existed in the box war I gotta say shout out to Ali Gordon for shoving it down our throats here because I think the process was Right like it's not happening for Devon H&W how's it gonna happen for Ali Gordon but fantasy football is weird man The NFL is an unpredictable sport. 1:57:40This is what this was big a big part of the theory in addition to I think Zay flowers has leveled up You know, he's somebody that every year has gotten a little bit better particularly like his ability to win in one-on-one isolated situations But This offense wants to live over the middle of the field Is Zay flowers is unbelievably fast Separating over the middle of the field and making plays with the ball in his hands and Lamar his best stuff has come throwing on these routes over the middle Hey like he's remember at the start of his career. It's like he can you throw outside the numbers? Well, who cares when you could just throw to say flowers over and over again. So Leveled up player perfect situation for him Can we just get these two guys like on the field together for an entire game because that has not happened yet Really in terms of Zay flowers Lamar full-time. Yeah, he's He's like an easy top 10, you know easy conservative top 10 receiver rest of season And hey, now I want to watch this game because statistically it looks like the best connection that Kim Ward and Colonel Tate have had I mean 222 yards here for Kim Ward and then Colonel Tate nine for one 45 on 12 targets. So excited to watch that one. Yep. Yep. Totally agree

1:58:47Okay I'm still rifling through here to find games that we Did not cover are there any more james or giant's cardinals? They're any oh my gosh. How how could I forget? He's not throwing it down the field And then here week four happens and he's doing all those things again He's doing all those things again. You know, hey, this was definitely a step in the right direction I'm not totally sure that the cardinals Defenses the best test in the entire world, but um, yeah, this was the full james experience and jacobre set doing the other thing

I feel like they're they're clearing that so Even if he's not like a true true bell cow. I think that he can pay off around three Eighth thoughts Matt Yeah, I that quote where he said it's gonna be the longest year of my life definitely stood out to me um, you know What we for Yeah, it sounded very similar to something uh McCaffrey said last year where he said it was like we're gonna be the hardest year of his life Because he was taking a bunch of work um, so yeah, it just makes me think like why are we banging Jeremiah love into the wall for a team that's don't you know go in nowhere when he they hope he has a long productive future
