Texas Fall Practice #4: Rasheem Biles Is “INSANELY GOOD” | Steve Sarkisian | Arch Manning
About this episode
Bobby Burton, Gerry Hamilton and CJ Vogel deliver the latest intelligence from Texas’ spirited Saturday night practice at DKR. Rasheem Biles repeatedly created havoc against Arch Manning and was described as one of the roster’s best pure football players, while a fully healthy Justice Terry continued overwhelming blockers at nearly 290 pounds. The Longhorns also unveiled a dangerous NASCAR package featuring Colin Simmons, Lance Jackson and Zina Umeozulu together in obvious passing situations.
Offensively, Wake Forest transfer Melvin Siani is emerging as an aggressive, physical right tackle who wants to bury defenders and could transform the Longhorns’ running game. The guys also discuss strong performances from Texas’ tight ends, Kohen Brown’s deep-speed role, Emmett Mosley’s playmaking and improved consistency from Ryan Wingo and Jermaine Bishop. Although the defense won the night, the offense produced several encouraging signs throughout the competitive practice.
